    1. I agree with you, they are a complete rip off they overcharge you and instead of good customer service they underpromise and underdeliver

    2. When there are issues you should write the CEO corporate.

    3. I one hundred percent agree with all of you. I cancelled my card two months ago and then they never cancelled it. They just kept taking money out of my credit card. absolutely not the best gym

    4. LA is too crowded
      Snap didn't cancel me
Anytime charged me an annual fee
Planet isn't 24 hours they suck

People read your agreement forms that you sign when you join!! Every gym makes you sign these forms and in said forms all the policies and procedures are right there for you to read. As a Snap fitness manager I can't begin to tell you how many people just don't pay attention to what they sign or even listen to me when I physically tell them something and then it's "the gyms" fault. Be an adult and own up to your responsibilities and quit blaming others for your own stupidity.

    5. Joined Snapped visited 3 times with a trainer at 150.00 extra cost. Paid in full for 1 year contract and received 3 extra months for the cash paid in full at 804.00 for my husband and myself. They closed down due to a lack of business and cheaper facilities opening up. I was never contacted and never received a refund for the months I lost. What a rip off. But, I will take it to small claims court because this consumer isn't stupid as you consider you other Snapp customer in the comment above. Might want to consider getting off the steroids, seems to be making you irritable. Why would you call your customers stupid ? Customers have the power to make you or break you.... Now you listen and respond as an adult or the court may see it differently.

    6. I agree that Snap Fitness is a rip off. I heard people in our town complain and then when I tried to cancel my membership I understood. I read the agreement and couldn't see how it said I would have to pay this extra money to cancel. I am taking this to a lawyer friend.

Also I would take a look at their personal trainers. They do not take care with older members. I will look to join the anti SNAP Fitness FB page.

    7. I signed up for Snap Fitness membership. No paperwork. No discussion of rate increase.

Then my second day after joining, I see an undated letter posted at the Sussex facility:

informing that there would be an increase in monthly fees of $30/month beginning April 15th.

This was not discussed two days prior, when I signed up for $35/ month and a free month trial that I would get at the end. This announcement is an 86% increase in monthly fees that was not disclosed at any time during sales presentation.

Presumably you are expecting new members to pay for previous members' wear and tear of your equipment. Replacement costs should be paid "as you go", covered as part of the membership fee. You are receiving tax deductions by claiming depreciation, which is, by it's very design, government money paid by taxpayers, intended to offset wear and tear on your equipment needed to make a profit. It appears that Snap Fitness did not adequately plan for depreciation of equipment and building upkeep, and now expects to charge new and existing members an 85% increase to make up for poor planning. What's next: a "getting ready to go out of business" fee?

Raising my membership fees 86%? You call it a "facility enhancement" fee. I call it a "failure to plan" fee. I call it a "fraudulent fee" when you don't tell new members of the pending rate change, which indeed, may have been announced and in effect at the time I signed up, but I just wasn't told out of convenience.

I want a full refund of whatever was charged to my account todate. I do not want to see any charges for membership or signing fee from Snap Fitness on my credit card account. CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. I don't do business like this.

Please confirm when you have made these changes by April 30, 2016 or I will take other action.

Apparently there are others with similar experiences

      Thank you.

  3. Just left a Super 8 without checking in because of the horrible attitude of the woman working at the front desk. Your business lost a 2 night stay and I will never patron a Super 8 again. The Super 8 in Massena, NY on Tuesday July 1, at around 4:00 am. I am a business manager and if I ever heard one of my employees speaking to a customer like that, they would be terminated immediately

    1. Snap fitness in Sylacauga cancelled my membership that was paid for a year after 2 months. The manager has no management knowledge. Small town and bad management will only put you out of business.

  5. Someone from corporate needs to visit the Plaquemine, La location. They have holes in the wall, weight bench's need repair, the bathrooms are a mess, weghts are cracking The people employed there just sit in the office on thier cell phones or they sleep (when they show up). It amazing it took two people to replace Kim and the club looks worse. I have been a member since it opened and the gym is going down in appearance.

  7. I am so sick of dealing with these people. Customer Service must a foreign language to them. I shouldn't have to contact the local club AND the Corporate office in Minnesota MULTIPLE TIMES to get something resolved. It's kind of sad that they have a high school kid running one of the sites. Who on earth hires these people???????

  8. someone should call the health inspector in the Milton, on location it is truly disgusting. people getting paid to work there do nothing but sit in the office.

  9. Snap Fitness in Creedmoor/Butner NC is a disaster. It is nasty, the floors are never swept and the gym is never cleaned properly. There are no wipes, only a dirty towels that are reused to clean machines with and some spray (probably water). Unclean and unsanitary. No power on June 5th and no owners or management in the building. Hot in the work out room; no or not enough fans. Yes, it is a small town, but people are not stupid or uneducated.

  10. I wish I read these reviews before joining. I wrote a letter in the middle of June to cancel my membership. My credit card was charged in July. When I asked about it, I was told that I had to come in, in person, to fill out a form. It would have been good customer service to give me a call and let me know. Instead, they just let my credit card be charged again. When I asked about a credit for July, she said "sorry, the charge will stay". Funny, she was able to prorate when I joined, but not when I quit.
I noticed today that I was charged for August. When I called, the mgr. was not there and the person that checked said my account was still "current". I told her I came in on July 7 and canceled and filled out the form. As of now, nobody has bothered to call me back.
I am not happy with the customer service. I had considered going back in the fall, but I have changed my mind. The mgr. was very nice and helpful when I joined, but not so nice and helpful now. Bad, bad customer service.
