  1. super 8 in York , Nebraska need to be shut down and inspected owner dose not use do or operate the way super 8 is suppose to beg bugs that he dosent want to deal with cockroaches nothing is being done he dosent pay over time or holiday pay that i know of i want to see sum thing done asap...

  2. Im writing a book about how badly I was treated at the Falls Church va gym. They made me leave after 3 years there becuase the morning guy was jealous that I talked t his coworker. He would try to get people to complain about me, he spent alot of time gossipping about me to the one owner on the phone. I had people over hear and tell me what he was up to. He would walk around and ask people if I bothered them, intimidated them, etc etc. They laughed in his face. he finally got thr owners to throw me out. And after thinking it over Im writing a book about the experience and expect it to do well. Judgment free zone????? hardly...........

    I used to work at Super 8 Buena Vista CO. and the owner who is from India is cheap or shall I say greedy, they pays their housekeeping employees only $3.75 per room or if they like you they increase it to $4.00 per room, at the end of the day we only make between $5 to $6 per hour, below minimum wage! most Super 8 hotels that I know they pay their employees hourly rate or if it is per room it is at least $6 per room. The owner who is a couple from India treat their employees like slaves, they take advantage of the people who wants to work or who needed to work, I just feel bad for those exchange students that they hire during summer and all other helpless americans, I hope the Colorado department of labor and employment will respond to my compaint and do investigation to this company. I want to warn everyone of the breakfast they serve, it might be food from yesterday, also, If I were you do not use their pool, it is dirty! they don't change water.

  6. I would like someone to call me back from the Covina Planet Fitness. Tried to talk to the employee's there and got no where. Had idenity theft and called them the day the bank closed my card to prevent further theft, would recieve a card in 10 days, I called Planet finess immediately and let them know. I took the card to the gym today and was told I would have to pay the $10.00 late fee. I asked them to check my records I had called to let them know 3 times that I would be in. I asked to speak to the manager but she was not there, only the assistant and she had NO sense of compassion to my situation just the answer that she could not do anything did not even offer to get my number so someone could call me back, What kind of buiness is this, I actually got over 40 neighbors to join this gym and I am treated like this! Something so simple has to resort to this and a customer to be so unhappy. I had the same thing happen with Massage Envy and there employees were understanding and did not charge me $10.00 after I already was ripped off. I hope I get a call, each day that goes by it will result in me tell more and more people about my uncompassionate experience and encounter I had to deal with.

  7. I can't believe Planet Fitness would allow a man saying he is trangender to go into the womens locker room. What proof do yo have that he was really a transgendered person. So any man dressing up like a woman and saying he is transgendered is allowed to go in a womans locker room. This is wrong on so many levels and then to cancel the womans membership because she complained and do nothing to the man. I hope Planet Fitness loses alot of business over this

  8. Just heard that Planet Fitness actually allowed an adult male to shower in the women's restroom, and revoked a lady's membership for complaining to others about it. This is an outrage, and the policy should be reversed. Women cannot feel safe with men showering alongside of them regardless of what gender they identify with.

    Very disappointed in Planet Fitness. I could not locate my contract and my year was to end this March. I called Holland Planet Fitness to inquire about the end of my contract if it would renewal automatically and was told no it would not be renewed but was not told that they would continue to bill me unless I stopped in or sent a letter. So of course I have had the 19.95 fee deducted for March. I called the location and was treated rudely and it was implied I was just making the story about their employee giving me the incorrect information up. I will let them have the 19.95 and my certified letter will be posted tomorrow and everyone I know will hear about Planet Fittness and their customer service.

    1. Worst gym I have ever had to deal with. Rude incompetent staff, no reminders of yearly fees, no manager is ever there to talk to, and the gym refused to give me the corporate phone number. I just told corporate that and they said that saying that was against policy. A rip-off of a business for sure.

  10. Planet Fitness, change your policy regarding allowing someone who is still obviously male to use the women's locker room because he is 'transitioning.' You want to be so PC, but you are NOT considering the women and their rights at all; most of us want to be in a locker room where we feel safe and secure. And what about the many women who have abuse issues? Having a male in their locker room could trigger serious issues for them - did you even think of that?

  11. Charging people after they close their bank accounts is DECEPTIVE!!! not only they keep charging you but the bounced checks and late fees over a period of months add up. They are Crooks. With a balance of 230 for a few months I could pay to go to a good gym. The managers dont help they act like their stupider than the corporate employees. This business is out to clean you, just by paying 10$ you end up getting screwed DONT GO TO THIS GYM!!!

  12. Planet Fitness is the worst company to work for, the general managers, assistant managers and regional managers, district managers are all a big joke! They lack professionalism, communication skills, people skills, they make up rules to fit thier needs, if they don't like you they will find ways to fire staff, they love to gossip about each other, if you don't kiss ass they get rid of you, if you don't run and jump when they want you to they get rid of you!

  13. I can personal say that I was a witness to a lot of low down dirty back stabbing planet fitness managers who love to smile right in your face and lie just to CYA thier own jobs! I will make sure to tell everyone that I come across not to apply for employment at the Lubbock location unless you love to work for a bunch of lying dirty two faces folks.Who want to cardo equipment and the gym to be so perfect you can eat off the floor!!! Get a life and stop hiring toddlers to run your business!

  14. I've seen your commercials "$10 a month no commitments no fees and then January I got a flyer, same thing. I go in to pay my $10 and get started to get in shape, but no I can't pay cash, I have to use my checking account for automatic payments and then told there's a special $1 fee to join (normally $20 I guess?) and then on top of that I'm told every June I'll be charged another $29. So I thought your business was using deceptive business practices and got a bit upset and left (I didn't join). I waited until August to go back and try again already knowing all the extra fees you charge that you say you don't. I went in early with my checking card. There was nobody up front when I walked in (Compared to the beginning of the year when I originally went in their were 6-7 employees up front all ready to get those 1st of the year people who want to start off their new year with weight loss) I read a sign saying I'm with my class, come over and get me if you need something??? Well she came over as I reading the sign and said sorry about the wait she's waiting on the managers arrival, I guess she can't make it to work on time. I asked her what kind of amenities the place had and the difference between the 2 different plans. She says well I teaching a class right now, but here's the plans. I interjected and asked a question and she rudely says to let her finish going over the different plans before asking a question? Are you kidding me. After all done I hand over my checking card to join and she says I need to get my routing number and checking account number, you guys aren't making joining easy. That was a little bit after 7am, so I wait until 9 am to go to bank when it opens and get my information then go back to Planet Fitness. Five employees are there now including the manager Michelle. I hand the one guy my routing and checking account number and tell him the plan I want to join. He asks my name and I say Randy then he ask my middle name and I said what do you need my middle name for and he turns the screen towards me and says he filling this out..so I said well if you need my legal name then my first name is Randall. Then he asks me if I had an I.D. and I said of course and I toss it on the counter and he fills in the rest of the info he needed off my drivers license, then he asks me if I have an email and I'm getting irritated and say yes of course I have one but you can't have it. Now he's telling me to sign electronic signature for them to automatically take payments out of my account, but I have to do this 3 different times??? We're talking and then the manager comes over and interrupts talking about the charges on the 17th of the month and yearly fee on the 1st of Oct. and I told her what happened in Jan. and them having a special $1 signing and all that and she said she was here and that they had no such special and I said yes they did I was going to sign up, but then the yearly fee came out and the "no cash" policy and the auto deductions. She tells me to calm down and I tell her I'm upset because I was in here earlier when you was late to work and that girl there(pointing to the girl) was rude and made me fill like I was an inconvenience and interrupting her class. She walks away keeping he back to me a mumbles something to the girl I pointed out, who smiles and I say you don't have to talk about me. Then she tells the guy stop signing him up and that I'm banned from her center because I was being rude. Is this your how you want your business run. Someone who thinks because they're the manager they don't have to answer questions or explain things, just be buddies to the employees?

  15. I tried to join at your new location on 34th Street, New York City. You can only join if you give your checking account information as a form of payment. I am not comfortable giving this information and will not. Myself and another lady who was listening to the introduction and tour left. I also heard another woman at the counter trying to sign up, respond to the question of bank account information as, "What", "Really"?
    Folks at corporate, we want to join a gym and get fit, you are bringing in tons of folks at this location, but many of us are walking out as we will not provide our banking information. You should reconsider, credit cards as forms of payment and/or offer cash prepayments for the year, etc.
    It's a shame, because there were three ladies in my office alone that were going to sign up. Not when they hear about the checking account payment only. You can do better.

  16. OK I am cancelling my membership 3/3/16! I first inquired about a gift membership for my brother. They said I had to provide my check routing number on-line, to which I said NFW as your site can't be secure. I stated I would pay upfront either with a credit card or cash and they STILL INSISTED on my check routing number. F them they are that good!

  17. Im giving notice to Plant Fitness in Lawrenceville ga. after last night. Im glad I was kicked out. The new employee was rude and took an attitude towards me after i question why as a member who pays 20.05 a month to use the tanning beds and massage chair/table (at my convenience) was told that I would have to wait 20 min cause the new rule from corp said it had to be on the hour of half hour to use. (when all beds were open)My time is very important to me. I like getting in and do what I need to do and get out.Yes I did say the new rule was Bull S*#@. This little jerk took my keys and termed my membership on the spot, saying I cussed at him. At that point I did call him a Jacka*#. So much for paying for use on my time. Sad part all the other employees I have come in contact with there was very nice, polite, helpful. But this new guy. Does not know how to deal with the public, much less to be a human being. So Im letting plant Fitness know that Im contacting my bank to stop payment. If money is taking I will file a law suit on this facility.

I went to sign up at the Pembroke Pines fl Planet fitness, I was standing around for five minutes before anyone talked to me, then the young man who spoke to me was very poorly trained as to the equipmen and its use, then he told me that he knew nothing about the specials going on and insisted in selling me the black card plan, he then took me to another person at the front desk who started talking to me in a condecending and patronizing manner to the point that when I said forget it I am leaving he just said ok bud, this place is not run by a professional staff as the other gyms in the area, stay away is m/ advise

  20. My husband & I went into the one & only location where we live to get tour so I could sign up. They wanted my account number & routing number of my bank account. Ummm.....that is NOT safe!!! I REFUSE to give out that information. They can swipe my card, but that is it!! I am going to go check out the other fitness places where I live.

  21. Worst experience ever! I would never step foot in one of the Planet Fitness facilities ever again. Rude incompetent staff that was laughing at my concerns, talking on their private phones, or texting when I needed assistance.
    As for the policies on the yearly charge. Complete bullshit. Even my dentist and insurance company sends out a reminder that you will be charges for fees. Why is it that Planet Fitness cannot send out reminders, even a mass email to their customers letting them know that if they don't cancel within a certain amount of days that the charge will be put through to their account. Do they have cheap monthly fees? Yes, you get what you pay for.

  22. I joined the new Planet Fitness in Fayetteville North Carolina, bot of us retired US ARMY. I have visited many of your facilities in Myrtle Beach,SC, Conway SC, and Florence SC, I found them all to be well staffed and clean, very professional and knowledgeable staff, NOW for the one in Fayetteville, that's a whole different, it's not the staff, it's every manager I met, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, AND QUITE IGNORANT TO the military commumity. On Wens, 8 June 2016 my wife and I visited the Fayetteville Facility, we were both on treadmills, I received a long distance call of the middle east, this being my Daughter who is in the U.S. Air Force, I answered, very happy and very relived to hear her voice, within 3 mins , the manager Brian Fleming approached me and interrupted my conversation and told me to get off the phone or leave the facility, I have been in the facility almost every day since they opened, I have never been told not to talk on a cell phone, I hung up, my Daughter became concerned and called my wife, who was next to me on her treadmill, the same unprofessional manager Brian Fleming interrupted my wife's call from my Daughter, threatened her tge same. As I was leaving the facility I voice my displeasure at the unprofessional manager Brian Fleming, he informed me" if I don't like the rules don't come back" he than said he was terminating my contract, I received a e mail a few hours later from the finance company that does the bank drafts and informed me my membership had been cancelled. This is a HUGE military town, I have contacted the Fayetteville Observer Newspaper, and hope to meet with the Fort Bragg contact for retired soldiers to make sure that the military community knows how Planet Fitness treats the military. This guy never asked if this was an emergency, as he interrupted my wife and I there were at least 5 people around us on cell phones, he said nothing to them. I hope to persuade military folks retired and active to boycott and camcel their memberships to Planet Fitness in Fayetteville.

    Until recently, I have been a member of Planet Fitness for close to or more than 20 years. On the day I cancelled my membership, it was confirmed that no further deductions would be made from my checking acct beyond the last membership charge in 05/2016. Yet on 06/01/16, a deduction was drawn for $39.99.

    When contacting the home gym at 8 Thomas Drive in Westbrook, ME, I was told fee was an annual due for 06/2016-06/2017 and refund was at the discretion of the manager or owner. Despite being told I would not be charged anything further, the manager indicated I would not be refunded the amount.

    In 2013 or 2014, I upgraded my membership; experiencing no annual fees and until this event, no issues with the club at all. Considering the time I have been a member and overall loss resulting from the decision to not refund, I am surprised.

  24. There is a music video that is played at the Statesville Planet Fitness location that is really not a good video. The band name is Joywave and the song that is played is "Destruction". By the name of the son you should know that its not a good song or video so why would you add it to the playlist.? This music video is almost like a sex tape and needs to be removed asap. Men and women half naked in beds in this video. They are kissing, licking and touching each other everywhere and its not a good video that is played in a GOD CENTERED environment.

  25. My husband and I cancelled our membership because a yearly fee was charged on our account without notice and caused 2 items to bounce thus charging us $30.00 per item for NFS from our bank. Our monthly dues come out on the 17th so you would think the yearly fee would also. The 1st of the month is when most people have a house payment or rent to pay and if not expecting the $42.71 per person fee can cause problems and it did for us. I am requesting the yearly fee be reimbursed because due to a back injury I have not been able to workout since March. I will file a complaint with the BBB and whoever else I can to make people aware of this. I have memberships with other things and I received a notice about six weeks telling me my membership is due to expire and will be drafted on my account or I can call to cancel it. This is a very good business practice that Planet Fitness needs to learn from. Low monthly dues are great but that is the only thing I can say good about the company.

  26. The Trumbull and Fairfield Connecticut clubs routinely force customers who are working out to leave before closing time by shutting off lights and the TVs while you are working out.
    The management and staff has put their own convenience ahead of simple customer courtesy of being open during hours of operation. Staff told me they don't get paid to stay late and while I leave promptly at closing time some customers pop into the shower at closing time. Depriving me the TV (a form of equipment) that I'm enjoying with my workout doesn't solve that problem.
    During my six years of Black card membership I have put up with audio systems that don't work, machines that are out of order for weeks, construction, and limited choices but after six times of complaining to managers I have had it with Planet Fitness.
    They don't care. They don't properlty train. They don't listen. They don't learn.
    They don't care.
    There are other, better choices.

  27. First let me say that I enjoy working out at PF because I know what I am doing. machines and aerobic equipment are top shelf but that is where it ends. Your staff/Mgmt team leave a lot to be desired. Your so called TRAINER walks around with his hands in his pockets doing nothing. He walks by member not using proper form on machines, even using machines for movements they are not designed for. Example would be ab machine as a chest machine. You are opening your self up for law suits by NOT giving proper instruction to members. I have been a manager for years and majored on Health and physical fitness. I know the physiology of excersize and members are not getting the monies worth out of their membership. I understand all of your logos and rules and no one follows them. Example I sat and waited 20 minutes on a machine that a member was sitting on reading and electric book on his phone. A sign CLEARLY states all phones will be used in the lobby. There are morbidly obese members that should be focused on weight lose. They have no clue what to do to improve their health. They need instruction and they are not getting it. My suggestion is to get someone in the position of manager that knows what they are doing and care about the members

  28. I'm writing to inform headquarters of how staff are disrespectful, unprofessional with no proper training on how to treat customers at the north Utica, NY location. I've been attending Planet Fitness gyms for a few years now; as well as my family and friends. The attitude and disrespect coming from a staff member; towards my family and I. I no longer feel comfortable attending nor recommending this company to anyone that maybe interested. After the General Manager Michelle Randazzo reviewed the camera's. She decided to call me back and say both parties are at fault and my family was aggressive. Aggressive how? I still don't know, which I never heard of such a thing coming from the customer service industry. Customers are always RIGHT !!! and if a manager was available to monitor staff and staff members spoke with dignity and respect things would have turned out differently. A young and immature staff member by the name of Joelle, spoke to my mother with a demanding tone of voice and after I retaliated off her reactions. My family members and I was told by Joelle to leave and take our business elsewhere. When my wife and her sister went back in to get names of staff, Joelle walked around the counter with the intent to fight my wife. If anything, Joelle was aggressive and after reporting this to management at that location. I don't think the situation was handled correctly and professionally by Michelle Randazzo. Mrs. Randazzo also cancelled my membership without my signature of approval; which also shows unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.

  30. I paid cash for overdue membership fees $169.00 (I know I was very overdue) and then my bank account was also charged for the same amount ($169!) Anyway, I told them in Dover NH and they said I'd get the money replaced in my account and I still haven't a week and a half later. I can just tell the manager was telling me what I wanted to hear. Ridiculous! I'm not even who to report it to. I called headquarters in Newington and they said they don't have anything to do with billing in Dover. UGH!!

  31. The bridges pf gym, is a very unhealthy place to workout. Employees like Ron a nightshift worker comes to work sick with virulent cold or flu, infecting all he has contact with, I was a victim and suffered a life threatening event with this contracted disease, and have heard of 4 other patrons who have gotten sick after having contact with him. I am elderly as are the other victims he's infected by stupidity coming to work with such contagious disease. Further, this store keeps the temperature of the gym so low most everyone who uses the gym during 12:am to 8:am mornings have to wear jackets, hoodies, sweaters just to use the equipment. Apparently, according to Ron, Planet Fitness could care less about it's members comfort. This is also demonstrated by the OXY-Moronic statement and threats plastered over the walls of the gym, such as no judgement and right next to it a so called lunk alarm in judgement against someone who grunts or drops weights. Other statement as trying to intimidate patrons with threats of physical damages if you don't like their ideas, and right next to it a statement of no intimidation zone. Planet fitness has become a very poor place with extremely negative actions, statements, and conduct including employee's who threaten the patrons with every statement out of their mouths. Prancing around like prison guards rather than good faith relations with patrons. It is my hope that the arrogance of the owners, franchisee's, employee's in their conduct becomes more patron friendly, before the Heath Department takes control and other agencies investigate these poorly run offensive stores, as the gym does have a few attributes in equipment only.

This sounds like common business practice with company to say they have closed your account and yet they continue to bill you and when you they keep pointing you to your club and then the manage does not call back and is never in the office?
