  2. Talk about a box!!! We was robbed for the price we paid for the smallest room we had ever stayed in. Wow its a good thing there was just the two of us. One of us had to sit on the bed or in a chair in order to move around the room. Unreal!!! This was in Bentonville Arkansaw. Never again!!!

  3. My daughter and I stayed at the motel 6 in Worthington Ohio for a convention and got totally ripped off. First off the lost our reservation, secondly when we were told that we had to check out at 12 noon no matter what time we got there. I reserved a room for 2 nights and these dummies lost it. I was livid. I will never stay at a motel 6 again no matter if all the other hotels are booked.

  4. My family and I were traveling back home from Houston and stopped at the Motel 6 in Arkadelphia. It was late at night, We checked in and went to the room my son pulled back the bed covers and it looked like someone had diarrah in the bed.It was very upsetting. We were offered another room but we did not stay. The motels don't have to be fancy but should be clean.......

  5. My family and I was first given a room where the heat didn't work(one of the coldest nights of the year). Gave us another room whre the heat worked a little better but the cold water didn't work.. When we told the manger, he said all we had to do was crawl underneath the sink and turn it on. My husband was cold all night. He had to place our coats over the bed covers. This was so sad. Motel 6 in Tupelo, Miss #4536

  6. 1-23-14. Motel 6 in Benson, Arizona has a very rude, abusive, and hostile counter clerk by the name of "John" who works the afternoon shift. I asked three special-needs disability questions: A.) Do you have any ground-floor rooms available? (because I have mobility disabilities and I walk with a walker/cane,) B.) Do you have any low-noise rooms? (because I suffer hyperacusis - a very noise-sensitive hearing disability); and C.) Do you have any rooms close to my truck? (so I do not have to carry my belongings very far since I suffer chronic fatigue and chronic pain.) This Motel 6 clerk got highly agitated and told me, "I am refusing you service. Get out now before I call the cops." I asked politely for the supervisor but the clerk actually called 911 and the cops showed up to harass me. I was forced to sleep in the bed of my truck in the freezing cold. This is blatant disability discrimination and an ADA violation and I am STILL filing Americans With Disabilities (ADA) complaints against Motel 6. I am highly offended and really ticked-off!! Boycott Motel 6!! schipkemary@AOL.com

  9. Will never ever stay at a motel6 now thanks to the one in Memphis TN on Austin Peay Hwy! my husband and I drove 9 hr and got here to check in at 7:45PM and,the housekeeper was still cleaning and check in was at 3pm. Got in the room the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold towel bar half hanging off the wall and if that wasn't bad enough has an indoor went to check it out and it's drained with the ceiling tile falling in. A horrible place to stay as a,matter of fact we are checking out a day early.

  13. Motel 6 Richfield Utah.. NEVER again! Ever!! Fire/Smoke alarm went off at about 2:00 AM (had 2 rooms rented, children in both rooms with us) I called the front desk no one answered the phone, after I let it ring for more than 10 minutes. I got dressed went up to the lobby and rang the buzzer at the desk for over 45 minutes before a man with PJ pants on came to the desk I told him that the alarm was going off. He then told me that maintenance would be there at 6:00 AM to fix it. I angrily told him no way there were now 3 rooms with children and adults wide awake because of the alarm. He was visibly upset that I was demanding it be taken care of right now.The man then came around the desk and stomped down to the room (barefoot) went into the room climbed up on the table, reached to the alarm on the roof and pulled it down. He then in his Indian accent said "I FIX FOR YOU" and stomped out of the room. As for the cleanliness of the rooms... DISGUSTING! We through all blankets on the floor and slept in our blankets from the cars. Hence.... We will never book a room at Motel 6 ANYWHERE again!

  14. I will never stay at the Motel 6 in Lompoc again. It was hot, I had just gotten there from a 9 hour drive, air conditioning wasn't working, it was 6 pm and my room STILL wasn't ready. When I asked to be refunded some of my money becuase i had requested a non-smoking room and got put in a smoking room WITH WET WRINKLED SHEETS, manager started stuttering , and told me I should just open a window. She had a horrible attitude, so unprofessional. Next time I will pay the extra 50 or so dollars at the Holiday Inn to get better customer service!

  16. Your name is being destroyed by many of your locations. You seriously need to send someone out to review all your locations yearly and have them take care of things or take your name off the sign. After recent stays are your motels in Winslow, AZ and Moriarity, NM I'm done with Motel 6 forever. I have never stayed in shabbier, dirtier places. These are both so run down, need repairs, updating and just cleaning. Don't leave the light on...in fact...shut it off. These folks are ruining your name.

  17. You need undercover boss. The Anaheim Maingate location is wonderfully staffed, but needs revamping, burn holes in blankets, linens, etc. The prices, probably because of the area can be a little steep. It may have noted remolded location but some things are very old, seriously needs maintenance. The staff again is wonderful and does their best to accommodate!

  18. My children and I stayed at a Motel 6 in Willoughby, Ohio. It clearly said on a card in the room "We will remake your bed daily and change your linens every third day". We stayed there 4 days. The beds were never made. The garbage was never emptied. The linens were never changed. The dirty towels were never removed and I had to ask for new towels every day. I complained every day and nothing changed. When I asked about the card in my room that said the above they said it was their fault...THEY DIDN'T DO THAT ANY MORE AND THE CARD SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED. When I complained to the corporate office their response, in part, was: "Motel6 does not provided daily housekeeping to guests who are staying for an extended amount of time". Besides the lack of spellchecking in their e-mail, basically they don't provide housekeeping to ANY guest because, if you check out after one night they are required by health codes to change the linens before the next guest arrives. Over 4 nights I got 4 different stories from 4 different people about the lack of housekeeping. It was pathetic. There is low cost and there is "a dive". You can guess where this one falls. I should have asked what their hourly rates were. Maybe their housekeeping staff was busy servicing rooms rented by the hour!

  19. Motel 6 Complaint This stay was at 2360 Delk RD SE, Marietta,Ga June 4-7th. It was probably one of the worst stays in my life (I am 70) and I have stayed at many motel 6's over the last 50 years. It started at check-in it took us 25 minutes and we had a reservation. There was only 1 person at the front desk and there was a line of people waiting to check-in (none of which had reservations). Our room when we finally got it was on the 5th floor and THE ELEVATOR WAS BROKEN (the whole 4 days we were there). When we asked for a room on the first floor they said there was nothing available any lower than the 5th. (we checked in on Thursday night). We exhibited at the knife show and had to haul all our product up & down the steps every day because... the first night we were there a motel clients car was broken into. The room was filthy- dirt was caked in the corners of the tile floor, not sure anyone ever dusted under the beds, bath tub dirty, etc. plus it looked like it had been thru a gang war and they just came in and painted over the damage. The toilet tissue holder was broken and 2 rolls of paper were sitting on the floor under it (really sanitary). When they came in to clean the room THEY DIDN'T all they did was make the beds- there were empty water bottles sitting on the dresser which they never touched, plus the trash cans were never emptied our entire stay. The noise at night was incredible! We called several times about a car horn that honked most of the night Friday, it continued all night long, pair that with the noise from the room next to us and sleep was impossible. We complained at the front desk several times and filled out the form rating the hotel -which was obviously BAD. When we returned that evening our room keys no longer worked we went to the front desk and spent another 20 minutes waiting to get them to work again. They gave us an excuse about the cell phone deactivating them. My phone & key card were in different pockets, the key card inside my wallet. I do not believe it had anything to do with my cell phone just the bad review we gave them on the card earlier that day. It was really nice that they provided coffee in the lobby but no condiments, when I asked for sugar & cream they said just wait a minute and someone would get those for you-15 minutes later I left the cold black cup of coffee on the counter because we had to go. We tried to find another hotel/motel but they were all full because of the knife show. If we could have we would have left after the first night. This motel was NOT WHAT we expected it was a HORRIBLE experience I will Never stay at a MOTEL 6 again. When we should have been at our best we were at our worst because of the SLEEP DEPRIVATION. My shoulder pain was aggravated from the toting & hauling and the 3 nights spent on the "Rack" mattress , my health or my ability to interact positively with my customers or fellow exhibitors was badly damaged.

I would like those 4 days back with sleep... We all know that can't happen so I would like my $196.05 REFUNDED for the sheer agony we were forced to endure. I sent this email to customer relations waiting to find out what they will do. David
