  1. I purchased a Mazda 2 on March 26, 2013 and 1 week later your offered a rebate of $1000.00 which would have helped me considerably since I am on a fixed income. When I contacted your customer service line to see if I have any way of qualifying for this rebate your representative was rude and less than helpful or considerate. Your rebate began on April 1, 2013 and I would appreciate any assistance I can get at this point. I can be reached at 405-301-1923 Sandra Watson.

  2. My name is Berthold Meltz. I live in Puerto Rico. On february 2013 my wife and I purchased a used 2008 Mazda CX9. The vehicle have corrosion on the tailgate door. The vehicle was manufactured on 04/08. The 2008 Warranty Information (Anti-Perforation Limited Warranty) says about the corrosion: 1. WARARNTY: "The warranty period is for the first 60 months (regardless milage) from the earlier date of either retail delivery or first use of the Mazda Vehicle. During the warranty period, this warranty is transferable to subsequent owners".

Since it could take months to the delivery of the vehicle from Japan to the United States (the vehicle was first bought in the United States and them imported to Puerto Rico), there could be a possibility that the vehicle is still covered by the warranty. Three weeks ago I went to Puerto Rico's Flagship Mazda Kennedy dealer and toll them about the situation. They told me that they will set a meeting to deal with the situation, since they could not tell me anything about the warranty, even having the vehicle's VIN NUMBER, PLATE NUMBER etc., etc., etc.. On Tuesday, August 6th, 2013 I sent a letter via email to Mr. Carlos Cruz, General Manager a Flagship Mazda Kennedy dealer (cruiz@bellagroup.com) telling him that his dealer should take action as soon as possible regarding the vehicle's manufacturing date (04-08), because there could be a possibility that the warranty could still cover the vehicle. On Wednesday, August 7, 2013, I sent Mr. Ruiz an email asking what does he think about the situation and reminded him that I will like Flagship Mazda Kennedy to issue and send me a Certificate telling if the vehicle is stiil covered or not by the warranty. I also reminded Mr. Ruiz, that Flagship Mazda Kennedy should provide me the evidence on were they got the information regarding the vehicle's anti-corrosion warranty, and to send me a copy, so I can verify it. To this day I have not received any response. I can be reach at 1 + 787-649-3790 or at berthold.meltz@gmail.com

  4. Anyone that has bought a brand new car from Mazda; did they pay for your tags and registration? I have had a HORRIFIC experience and of course now I can't get ahold of anyone when I need to. I am calling the Corporate office tomorrow and see if I have better luck. Then getting some legal counseling. I have no other option. Its been a whole month of stress, repeated visits to the dealer and a lot of mess ups!! Please let me know if your tags and reg were covered with the purchase. You can text me your reply at 702-742-8515.

"WORST DEALER EVER! "My buying experience was horrible at this dealer my boyfriend went in for a Mazda cx5 back in March, they qualified him than a week later they called him back because "he had forgotten to sign a paper" when we went in they asked him for more money because the bank didn't approve so I returned the car. We decided to give them another chance because he really wanted the CX5 and he called the previous sales man Rob my boyfriend called him 5 times and we never got a call back. They had offers of 90 day no payment, 500 visa credit card. When I asked the new sales man since Rob was so busy he said that it wasn't worth it because regardless I would pay for the visa credit. We then asked for the 90 day as advertised they said it depended on my credit. The price for this car was even more then the one I had previously gotten and it was the same one. I was there till midnight signing papers meanwhile Andy from financing kept calling me "MA" while smacking his gum. I didn't even recieve any of there special promotions. Yesterday I had to go back because the Bluetooth audio and the aux cable is not working properly David took it to the back and came back and said it was working fine. When I went to test it out with him it wasn't working and he said he was going to take it back. We waited for more then 30 mins and he came back and gave us a number to technical support and told us that if it didn't work then to call the dealer to set up and appt with them. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR A WEEK AGO AND NOW I HAVE TO CALL. THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. If this car is so new why can't you just offer to fix it or do something about it there in the dealer instead of calling technical support. the only thing the sales man did was fill the gas for me and he's concern was CAN I COUNT ON YOU TO GIVE ME 10'S IN THE SURVEY. HELLLL NO you can't count on me to GIVE YOU 10'S THIS IS THE WORST DEALER EVER. I WOULDN'T EVEN RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO MY WORST ENEMY. RIPPPPOFFF!!!!!!!!!

  11. Mazda Service Department in Bakersfield is the worst. Customers are always liars. Their mechanics can do no wrong. Avoid any mechanical work at this location. Mechanics accidentally break anything, they will not report nor admit. Service Adviser and Service Manager do not give you real good options.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Mazda Service Department will back their mechanics without ever listening to customer complaints. They would tell you "Our mechanic would not do that" and yet from a single problem too numerous problems since the repair. The Service Manager will tell you it's a coincidence, not their problem. You're just unlucky. Whatever you tell the Service Adviser or the Service Manager, they will not write it down on the work order. They only write down "diagnose or inspect" but will not write down when you question a repair that their mechanic did. Go elsewhere, save money, time and rudeness from the Service Department of Mazda of Bakersfield.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wow! A Mazda Service Manager in Bakersfield telling a customer that if he was lying then go ahead and call the police so they will arrest him for lying. lol
A customer had his leaking transmission replaced with a used one and still leaking but worse. Damaged the fog lights and will no longer work. Mazda Service Department of Bakersfield denied the mechanic touched it. Yet, multiple problems kept happening each time the customer tried to correct the original problem. Now, check engine light stays on, ignition slow to start and damaged the passenger headlight. Customer originally only had a transmission leak and yet the Service Manager at Mazda Bakersfield said that it was only a coincidence that all the problems started to happen after each time the customer tried to resolve the minor fog light switch. Don't trust this place, they do not honor their service guarantee. Only guarantee you will get is more damage to your car and constant denial. Customer DO NOT come first at this place. Go elsewhere.

  15. Where is the stewardship responsibility for the Mazda products? I've owned a Mazda in the past and had negotiated a deal with a dealership in Maryland. Bait and switch at its best!!! I confirmed pricing, trade, incentives on new vehicle, secured financing was scheduled to pickup car next day and received a call that they "accidentally" sold my car. REALLY?? There has been a lot of recent negative media coverage due to the FCC investigations of auto sales scams. Numerous claims were presented against Mazda dealerships. Doesn't Mazda think its time to reign in the dealers/managers before additional charges are brought against you??? We realize we are dealing with car dealers, however, you are definitely going to lose customers with the dishonest transactions.

I have advised you previsouly, as has the Manhattan Supreme Court, that your commercials for the new Mazda M6, which feature RADAR technology, are errant in crediting a man as is her were the "forerunner" of radar. RADAR was created as a sensory technology using heat resonance in order to detect bodies and plane wrieckage, ships and other elements, by me. I won the Nobel Prize for it. The person you have on that commercial did not. he was not a forerunner, or pre-cursor to radar. he was not involved with the development of it. Further, I was invited to work on this commercial as a director/producer because of awareness of my research and inventions. I would appreciate it if you would pull the commercial and re-script it . The matter is being monitored by the authorities and i would not want there to be infringement on the patent causing a further problem for Mazda. Please cease and desist. Thank you. 17. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with the technology package in the Mazda 6 2015. Their integration inferior to all of the other car manufacturers. They cant even get the ipod to work correctly. it takes forever to load, it always reverts back to the first song. So if you have to make a quick stop and turn off the car, dont expect to get back in and pick up where you left off. If you are a techy and like all of the bells and whistles, look elsewhere.

    1. COMPLETELY agree!! I'm even more than disappointed. I'm about ready to ask them to rip the darn system out of my car and refund the additional "technology package" fee! Keep complaining to dealer - what have I paid for when I got technology since it works sporadically. I bought it about a year ago and have had ongoing problems with Bluetooth, GPS and phone contacts that the "technology" suddenly decides it doesn't recognize names of people I've call many times and even some of the people who are saved in Favorites. Have had car back to Mazda several times to fix GPS -- because I have mostly had to use Google Maps to get me places.

  19. Hello, I purchased the CX-9 Grand Touring in 2012 at Pacifico mazda Philadelphia PA. and Manager sold me a extended warranty package which he assured me it would cover all of the cars electrical/mech problems once the cars warranty expired. He sold me a third Party Warranty that is not excepted by all of the Mazda dealerships. My car is setting at the Maple Shade dealership in Turnersville NJ and service manager is not excepting my extended warranty. I purchased a warranty that is no good what the hell is going on with your dealerships?

  20. Mazda #1: Mazda 6. 3 months after buying it, the car shakes violently when going over 35 mph. I take it to service at Lodi, NJ branch. They tell me I need new rotors. After 3 months? This makes no sense. The service manager tells me, as if I'm some sort of idiot, the stop and go traffic in NJ can cause deterioration of the brakes. That's absurd! Brakes don't ware out in 3 months. They did the work without my consent and when I refused to pay, they told me I couldn't have my car back. I paid, made a claim to Mazda, and it was denied.
Mazda #2. My new, under warranty CX5 started shaking, all the dash lights came on, and the gas pedal wouldn't respond, during rush hour on one of the busiest, most dangerous highways in northern NJ. I had to cross 3 lanes of traffic to get to safety admist the traffic. I was scared out of my mind. Mazda Roadside Assistance towed me to Ramsey Mazda after hours. In the morning I called the service department. There are no loaners and there's nothing they can do. What???? How am I supposed to get to work? I asked them to rent me a car. That's not their policy. THere's nothing they can do. Is someone going to explain that to my boss? Is it Mazda's policy that if their UNDER WARRANTY vehicle fails, that one must miss work and lose wages? That's a terrible policy.

Love the car, hate the service. Stranded at home, can't get to work. Is there anybody out there who would like to help me? I guarantee after these two horrific customer service experiences, I will not be purchasing another Mazda. It's a shame, love the car.

  21. I recently ordered a Miata Launch but when on the site it wouldnt take my order. i tried for hours calling mazda and sending emails but nobody would respond nor would they answer the phone. I finally got somebody whom didnt care at all and told me tough luck. The site came back up several weeks later and when i tried to order again it knocked me off and then accpeted my order for the wrong transmission auto instead of manual.. When I called Mazda again no answer no response to emails - zip !! I spoke with customer service yesterday and obviously this is not a college degreed position by any means. I got screwed telling me sorry but no cars available. Im going to try to contact corporate and most likely will spend my remaining years telling others how mazda sucks! They not only have the worse customer service but they also just dont care. They hire young kids to answer the phones and they read scripts. The great positive outcome of this is for my children. Now they know what type of job they can have if they dont get a good eeucation - 7-11, TSA or customer service for mazda. Mazda is going to bank some 31 million dollars on the launch miata. I wish them well because I was trying to purchase two, dropped to one and now i woudlnt take one for free. Words of wisdom dont purchase a mazda because youll be sorry you did. Until management gets involved and show that they care - it can only be a headache and poor investment. Try getting someone on the phone whom cares - good luck..

After I saw a newer version of my SUV on the showroom floor I decided to inquire about the price and considered upgrading. My mind was made up to purchase this SUV but the Sales Manager MIke who sold me my SUV in 2009 when he was just a salesperson I felt comfortable with and asked for his assistance. He was very rude, condescending, loud on the sales floor, had staff looking at me. He had me standing up at the sales counter conducting business. After all of this embarrassment and discuss he then stated " Today is not a good day, I am having a bad day maybe if you come back tomorrow I will be in a better mood. This was the worse experience I ever had at any Car Dealership. I decided to turn my Madza back in and go with another dealership. All I wanted was a fair deal not to be degraded as I was. I will never step foot into a Madza dealership again.

  36. HI I purchased a 2012 Mazda 6 on 10/29/2013. We loved or car, but sadly to say we was in a terrible accident on 5/11/2016. But by the grace of God we only received bumps n bruises.
My question is we was hit on the drivers side in which pushed a forward into a guardrail in a crosswalk pole. What we don't understand not one of the air bags exploded? We did have our seatbelts on, which did save us from going through the windshield.
But why didn't the airbags come out? I would like a answer on this. We have taking it to Matt Castrucci a couple of times checking to make sure it wasn't on the recall list for the airbags. And we were told no? Please give me a answer on this. Because since our baby is totaled, we not sure that we are going to get a new Mazda if the airbags don't work. Because we may not be so lucky next time.

Your Vehicle's Make Model and Model Year: MAZDA MAZDA3 2010
Note: Your VIN, make, model, and year are all protected under the Privacy Act.
What part of your car was affected? Body, Seat Belts, Unknown or Other
    What happened?
THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME BREAKS RESULTING IN THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE TO ROCK BACKWARDS WITH THE SEAT WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN FORWARD
MOTION. THE CAR BECOMES UNCONTROLLABLE WHEN THE SEAT ROCKS BACK CAUSING THE DRIVER TO HOLD THEMSELVES UPRIGHT TRYING TO DRIVE
THE VEHICLE. THE SEAT EXHIBITS CHARACTERISTICS THAT CAN ONLY BE CALLED UNSAFE. THIS DEFECT WILL ULTIMATELY RESULT IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT
WITH INJURY OR DEATH. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN THIS WAS FIRST NOTICED. THE DEFECT WITH THE SEAT FRAME ALSO RENDERS THE SEAT BELT
USELESS AND IS SAFETY HAZARD COMPOUNDED BY THE SEAT FRAME BREAKING LOOSE. THIS DEFECT APPEARS TO HAPPEN ONLY ON THE 2010 MAZDA 3
MODEL AND THERE ARE MANY ADDITIONAL COMPLAINTS, BOTH HERE AND IN PUBLIC FORUMS. MAZDA NEEDS TO RECALL FOR REPLACEMENT OF A SEAT
FRAME THAT IS BUILT SO AS NOT TO BREAK IN NORMAL USE. WHY THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED IS NEGLIGENT. MY LOCAL MAZDA DEALER GAVE ME AN
ESTIMATE OF $980.00 TO REPAIR THE SEAT FRAME. THE MANAGER WAS NOT WILLING TO NEGOTIATE THE COST OF THE REPAIR NOR WILLING TO DISCUSS
    FURTHER.

Customer service reviewed a 2nd time and still refused to offer any support for the repair. This should be a recall.

  38. I love the way the convertibles look. they are so stylish. The only complaint I have is that I am not 5 foot nothing. Has anybody in the whole Mazda world thought about having a vehicle that would accommodate someone 6+ tall. Do you people have the average sized Japanese male in mind when these cars are being designed. How about thinking about the vertically enhanced once in a while.

  39. on May 27, 2016 we purchased a 2014 Mazda 3S GT from Quality Mazda in Albuquerque, NM. THis vehicle has 13 miles on it. Quality Mazda is refusing to give us the lifetime power train warranty that comes with new vehicles. Quality Mazda says this is a used vehicle, the Attorney General says this is a new vehicle. At University Mazda also in Albuquerque, NM, our salesman told us that a new vehicle is one that has not been sold and titled. The vehicle we purchased has not been sold or titled, has not been a lease or rental return. What gives Mazda? We expect to receive the same warranty as any other purchaser of a NEW VEHICLE. We will be contacting the corporate headquarters to get this resolved and expect the lifetime power train warranty that comes with new vehicles.

  40. I went into Mazda on Test Drive in Colorado Springs in Oct.2016 to trade my Mazda 3 in for a Mazda CX. The salesman pushed me into a Ford Taurus with all wheel drive. I was looking for a 4 wheel or all wheel and he said the 5 didn't come with those features. I did purchase the Ford and take the vehicle to the same place for oil changes and maintanence. The last time I was in there,in May they informed me I need new tires by my next visit as well as a new filter. I feel very taken advantage of needing to purchase new tires within 7 months of my purchase. Can you please help me with this,as I am a single woman, who doesn't have extra cash to purchase 4 tires. I appreciate anything you can do to make me still love the Mazda name. I owned Mazda all my life and truly feel taken advantage of in this incident.
    Thank You

  41. I bought 2 2016 Mazda's CX3 on April 1 2016. First I had taken out extended coverage bumper to bumper this was suppose to cover scratches also. I went to get a small scratch on my bumper repaired and told it wasn't covered in which they lied to my sister and I. The scratch cost 476.00. And my car has been back to the dealer 3times in a week to fix the same problem the air conditioner. I would never purchase a Mazda again in my life. Think before u purchase a vehicle.

  42. I have 2004 mazda 3 and it has over 355,000 miles on it. Still runs like a champ. Best car I have ever owned and I am the original owner. Bought it brand new 2/7/2004. Here's going for 400,00!

  43. I have a 1992, and a 1994 Mazda 929, Unable to find front struts for these cars, I can find them for the rear, at 256.00 a piece, I need to know if there is another strut that will fit and work on this car for the front, and something cheaper for the rear.

  44. I bought a CX5 in 2014 and have had a series of issues with the battery. Each time I've had to park the car for more than 5 days (travelling, in most cases and leaving it at a nearby airport), I have not been able to start the car upon my return - the battery has been totally dead. This started at 20,000 miles. I took the problem to my local service dept. and they told me the battery (and wiring) was fine each time. Yesterday, after the 4th such incident, I had to replace the battery. When I spoke with the service manager about this he told me that batteries in new cars can sometimes sit for very long periods of time in storage (in transit, etc.) and this can affect the functionality. I responded that, if this were the case, wouldn't more people be experiencing what I have experienced? I have 3 colleagues at the college where I work who also bought CX5s from this dealership and have driven and maintained their cars in the same way I have. They have had no issues with their batteries. The service manager also told me that batteries can be "tricky" at times. It seems that I purchased such a "tricky" battery. I believe it is Mazda's responsibility to replace it - in effect, to make good on the quality of the product they sold to me.

  45. I have a 2012 Mazda 5 grand touring loved it when we purchased it, but started stalling losing power and would
have to turn off restart to have power again. Checked by several shops and Mazda dealership two times with more
costs but problem not fixed. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem and the solution.
Mazda dealership said they would hate for us to bring it back with more cost and not know if they can fix it. Had all the tune up repairs, fuel system cleaner ect and has not helped at all. Do not think I will have a Mazda again. So glad I had a 1996 Impala that we purchase new it has been a blessed back up. I drive 100 miles round trip week days as a nurse and would have been in trouble if I depended on the Mazda

  46. Worst service I have ever had. Had a well mainained Mazda Cx9 and a family of Mazdas. Car broke down, service center gave me ridiculous quotes to fix it. So I suggested it was time to by a new car and the service manager never directed me to sales. I contacted Corporate for perhaps some financial relief for such as short 6 year life on a well maintained car but they also didn't offer me an option to buy a new Mazda I took my business to Toyota. Worst sales ever.
