Dyson is a Scam Artist

I ordered a Dyson supersonic hair dryer and Airwrap for Christmas. I received the items with 1/2 of the attachments missing. They are refusing to send the missing attachments they agreed to send. Don’t buy from this criminal company.

Our Dyson was dead on arrival, on phone for hours, still no replacement - I want a refund

Months ago we contacted Dyson as the former machine would not charge. We were told we could buy a new battery, but it was not guaranteed to work, or to make the vacuum work, and not returnable if it didn’t work. So we ordered a new one which was dead on arrival. Told to return and 2 weeks after returning we’d get another – no confirmation for over a month it was received. No confirmation they sent a new one except on the phone (after 90 minutes of being put on hold I had an appt and had to hang up.) I asked her to call me back and confirm it was sent or give me a refund. Msg said it should be there in 2-5 days – it has already shipped. Uh-huh. Weeks later, it is still not here, with no confirmation, and no refund. We thought Dyson was a reputable company. No more.

I was promised a replacement vacuum over a month ago after I was told up to 10 days to receive it. When I called back a second time I was told a rush had been placed on it. And the third time was the worst they had no clue what I was saying Until today I still have not received my equipment. I have filthy carpets that cannot be cleaned. One thing is for sure these bits just go bad instantly there is no warning I’ve tried to reach the corporate headquarters I left a message today. Let’s see what happens next You would think spending $ 800 for a vacuum You would get much better service

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer - Impressed 5 Star Review

Rated 5.0 out of 5

I thought a long time before purchasing my Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. I believe I paid between $300.00 and $500.00 for it. I enjoyed using my Dyson Hair Dryer, daily to dry my hair and body after my showers. My Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer came with 5 attachments that were very useful. I was especially impressed with the hair smoothing attachment that smooths out flyaway hair! I had never see an attachment like this and it really does work, to smooth out flyaway hairs…I really liked that I saw one of my hair dressers using a Dyson hairdryer at a hair salon that uses Aveda products. If you can get a Dyson hairdryer I believe it’s worth the investment for a Luxury hair dryer, you can use at home.

Dyson Service & Products Have Gone Downhill

Rated 3.0 out of 5
April 11, 2023

Unfortunately, this will probably be the last Dyson product I buy. I purchased a Dyson handheld V8 in November 2022. In March 2023, the battery stopped working. I troubleshooted the issue using the online chat feature and it was determined the battery had died. While it’s very concerning and disappointing that a battery would die after only 4 months, I was pleased that a new one should be shipped under warranty. Unfortunately, that was the only level of satisfaction I have received with this issue. I was extremely disappointed to receive my replacement battery only to find out it didn’t fit my vacuum. The service rep ordered the wrong part. I went through the chat function again and was told that a new battery would be shipped and would arrive in 2-5 business days because of the error from the last rep.

Imagine my surprise when I got a notification on 4/11 that my battery would not arrive until 4/17 – 8 days later. I called the customer service again and was placed on hold for over 45 minutes waiting for a supervisor to address my problem. After waiting 45 minutes he quickly told me (James #52215466) that there was nothing he could do because the product already had a label and that it’s unfortunate the other rep gave me the wrong info.

It is clear that Dyson service and products have both gone downhill. The products are failing faster than in the past (this is my 3rd vacuum) and the customer service is failing even faster. They can no longer Rectify mistakes and clearly do not wish to make customer’s experiences positive. The 3 reps and managers I spoke with were not knowledgeable, not helpful, and showed no concern with trying to resolve the situation I was having. It’s really sad how low Dyson is falling.
