online service is horrible as well, order placed one day with one address for billing and one for shipping. Order placed on hold and no one reached out to ask why. When I call 4 days later they say oh we never just ship when addresses are different we have to call. So why have the option. i call 4 days later to see why it hasn't been shipped yet, oh they are just slow in the warehouse should be out by the end of the week. Now i have a tracking number that UPS doesn't know what to do with.... LAST TIME SHOPPING HERE... too bad it has tons of good stuff but at what expense.

DTLR EMPLOYEES CHARGING EXTRA FOR JORDANS ON THE JORDAN RELEASE DATES. FOR EXAMPLE IF THE STORE PRICED THE JORDAN FOR $160, THE STORE EMPLOYEE/ MANAGER IS CHARGING AN ADDITIONAL $100 AND POCKETING THE EXTRA MONEY. SO WHEN DTLR ANNOUNCE THAT THEY ARE GIVING OUT TICKETS A DAY OR TWO BEFORE THE JORDAN RELEASE DATE, THERE ARE HARDLY ANY SHOES LEFT BECAUSE THE STORE EMPLOYEE/ MANAGER ALREADY GAVE TICKETS TO PEOPLE THAT PAID THE ADDITIONAL MONEY. PEOPLE WILL PAY BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE WANT THE JORDANS THAT IS GOING TO RELEASED. I RECENTLY STOOD IN LINE TO GET A TICKET AND I WAS MAYBE THE 2ND PERSON IN LINE AND WAS TOLD THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE SIZE I REQUESTED. The gentleman that works in the DTLR Northlake Mall in Charlotte,NC by the name of Gabe smells of weed constintly and has horrible customer service skills.I shop there quite often for my children and neice and even tried to make passes at my 13 year old neice.Please consider the type of individuals you hire as well as drug testing! Pissed off with DTLR how is it i buy a pair of Jordans for my daughter bought them home and the next day I take them back to exchange for a bigger size and the employee tells me I need the BOX!!! I had a receipt and they still wouldn't except them. Meanwhile, i'm reading the store policy and it says nothing about YOU NEED A BOX TO EXCHANGE.....Now, i'm stuck with a $65 pair of sneakers. By the way I called corporate and STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK!! This has been over a week now. SMH....

I am extremely disappointed with DTLR Staff in Columbiana Mall (Columbia, SC). Approximately two months ago, I spoke with the manager over the phone about ordering me Reebok Kids Questions. She informed me that the order would be shipping from a Virginia DTLR location and that I would be notified in 1-2 weeks. Two weeks go by and I decided to call the store. The same manager tells me that the order did not come in yet, and that she'd be sure to give me a call. Two additional weeks go by and no call. So once again I call them. I ended up speaking with a sales associate who relayed a message from her manager saying, "The shoes did come in but they were the wrong color. Therefore, she returned them to the Virginia store and they'll ship the accurate order." It is now one month later and I still have not gotten any notification. This shoe was suppose to be a gift for somebody but it's a little too late for that, huh? I will never in my life shop again at DTLR or refer anybody to the store. I'm very disappointed with DTLR staff in Columbus Ga the manager is beyond rude today she was being very unprofessional she guarnteed 18 people tickets that wasn't even in line so she can pocket the extra money when it's not fair to the ones who was in line and now all of a sudden she's doing a raffle she give her tickets to the ones she want to give them to but as long as she's the manager their I will not shop with they company anymore right is right wrong is wrong why they making extra money off they store products

DTLR White March Mall Abdul or whatever his name is, is very rude and unprofessional he curses at his staff especially the females, he allows the customers to disrespect them and I purchased a pair of pants that were on sale and he removed the sales tag and charged me full price then offered me a store credit. We were about to fight and he was arguing with me in front of the whole store cursing and telling me to get my ass the hell out. My boyfriend ha to threaten to hurt him before he gave me back my money. He is a nasty person and should not be allowed to speak to the females in that store the way that he do. He is the worst manager ever and needs to be replaced. I've been in that store a lot and the girls work HARD even when he is disrespecting them but he allow the boys to do nothing while he hang out with them like they on the street corner. I’m not a malicious per but I do work in the mall so I visit the store often. not sure if my first comment posted, but the manager in the downtown Richmond va store, would not let my husband return my shoes with my receipt and card. They need to learn better customer service your company have loss a customer due this service and I will tell everybody I know to shop else where, these people are out of control.
I don't who is hiring these people. There is this one lady name Travonne Soloman who is a very nasty suppose manager. I brought my shoes back for an exchange and she say they could not exchange because they did not have my size. So I asked for a refund and or to check another location she no. This was in the in Baltimore on Pennsylvania Ave. I was just in the store in Glen Burnie MD and seen her there as the store Manager, she also takes shoes from the store and sale them on the street, I have seen her with a table set up with all of DTLR products, that includes tennis, clothing, and hats. I also notice that she caters a lot of black males not sure if they are related but they seems to be in her store a lot and she even giving discounts or they are not paying anything for their items. One of her employees says she leaves the store everyday with at least two pair of shoes and is stealing money from her store. Someone needs to investigate the manager that is suppose to be leading your company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just was one the phone for an hour and 30 min. No one picked up, I have not got an email saying they shipped my shoes out, and its been a week. DTLR will never have to worry about my business any more. Nike.com answers on the first call and ships ASAP. Good Morning, I am writing to make you aware of some of the daily operations in your PG Plaza store (3500 EAST WEST HIGHWAY, Hyattsville, MD).I attempted to purchase a pair of shoes in the store on Monday 12-14-15. PG County police informed me there is a hip hop singer in the store signing autographs and I could not enter the store. I asked if he could inform one of the employees so I could talk to them outside of the store to inquire about a product they sell. He response was "I'm not doing all that" In a very smart aleck tone. I let him know these occurrences happen with too much frequency in predominately African American areas.This location lost a sale because of ignorance. I hope in the future there are ways to facilitate shoppers, and fans as I will avoid that store at all cost.

I have seen one of the warehouse workers that work at the warehouse that connected to the corporate off smoking pot on their break i called corporate and nothing has been done i still see the guy just about every day

How ignorant and lack of customer service skills to offer an even exchange (I did not have my receipt) for SIZE ONLY and after selecting correct size in the exact same shoe you then tell me I owe the difference of $74.00 which I think you wanted to pocket for yourself Taylor at the Whitemarsh store in Maryland on September 23rd 2016. What ever happen to true best qualified candidate selection for the job. THIS HAS TO BE WELFARE TO WORKFAIR with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY not even a GED was probably required. This is my opinion resulting from my EXPERIENCE during my transaction..... CORPORATE DTLRthis did not make any sense at all and you should be concerned about customer retention.
I have sat and read every last one of these comments and as an African American woman I am very appalled and upset. Upset that knowing every comment was negative in nature. Upset to learn that there is a team of predominantly Caucasian males who are allowing this image to continue. Why because you are protected by this facade you put up of being an Urban culture. This almost sickens me. And to know I too came up here to tell you of the horrible, unskilled people you have employed here in the Hampton Roads region. But not from a consumer level but from that of the wife of an Employee. And unfortunately this trickles up to HR and Payroll. This company cares none about its consumer or employee, yea you may have these mmanagers tricked but it's just that a trick. You use them to be your bad guys, to look bad, you employ the unskilled one, with no customer service skills because you figure you can turn them into what you are now. And so as long as you have a product people want and will pay for no matter what, you only have to deal with the ever so often comment or complaint. And as long as it's nothing to be sued over then, hey, nothing to talk about. What about when it is something to talk about. And since I now see coming to corporate is probably a dead end I wonder if I will have my husband waste the time even calling you. Because this is something that will catch attention. But, I'm sure you don't care. Sad sad sad. You should really check up on your stores here in Newport News. Ever wonder why all the managers are females, and not very smart? And I bet you never hear of the problems in these stores or the real reasons for all the movement of employees. Or how they sign people up for company services without permission. Deducting funds out of checks. Or how your managers are sleeping with each other and these company functions are actual twerk orgies. Oh the list goes on....but I'm sure you don't care bout none of that. Maybe your consumers should know.
I was scammed on December 14, 2016 @ the DTRL @ Northlake in Charlotte, NC. A young man by the name of Angel Figueroa answered the phone while I was inquiring about the Velvet 11s that came out on December 17, 2016. First he informed me there were no more tickets available for the shoes. Then I called back to see if anyone knew of any stores that may still have them. Angel Figueroa then told me to text him at his number 404-662-1876. I text him and he informed me that he had one ticket that could get me a Big Kids Size 6 shoe that he was selling from DTLR but I needed to give him $300. He bragged about this is what he does all the times and the manager is aware. I met him at the food court later that day with two witnesses who saw the money exchanged and I have proof he was given the money but he said I had to come to his home in Charlotte later that evening to pick up the ticket because he was afraid of being seen by others. He informed me that night after I gave him the money he forgot my ticket and just come to the store early to pick up my shoes on December 17, 2016. I never received my shoes, nor my money back. I spoke with the manager at the store in Pineville, NC about the matter because I wanted to see what can be done. She took my information down and gave me Camille Stevens number their DM. I contacted her who was on vacation till January 14, 2017. The manager at the Pineville location then gave my information to the manager at Northlake location, which I asked her not to do. Since then I have been threatened and taunted by this employee for over a month and some days. His friends and family members as well as him has sent me violate messages and threats of attacking me because I want my money back and he will not give it back to me. I don't understand why he still is an employee for this corporation withpilferage occurring on his behalf. The manager at the Northlake location is in on the scam as well that is why she gave my information to Angel. I have text messages, insulting messages off social media from this employee on how he his not giving me my money back unless we fight for it then he says better yet I'll just kill you. I have also been informed this is not his first time doing this at this location. I work hard for my money and I refuse to allow someone to intimidate me. So I left the DM Camille Stevens a message in December 2016 after the incident. Then she finally calls me today, Tuesday January 17, 2017 from a private number, which I prefer not to receive private calls. I returned Camille's call which goes directly to her voicemail and informed her I would take the settings off my phone to receive her call. I have called her back four times and still no answer, nor response. So DTLR has a very funny way of doing business. The customer should always come first being I'm a business owner myself no matter the situation. But DTLR has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I will not be happy until I receive my money back and the employee is terminated.
On Monday July 10th 2017 at around 4:00 pm I made an attempt to pick up a pair of Timberland boots That was ordered from another one of your locations, the prior week before today. This was done due to the fact that they were out of my size that day. When i walked in the store, their was 4 adult teenage employees on shift, one male and three females, they were all crowded around each other laughing and joking conversing about personal issues other than their duties at hand. when i entered, i mentioned that i came in to pick up the shoes i ordered, once i tried them on, and was completely satisfied, I walked over to the counter top ready to pay for my item. Despite of my presence at the cash register, they still continued their conversation (lolly gaging on companies time!) just completely ignoring and not providing excellent customer service like this company claim they will always provide. Once i finally counted my cash and was ready to pay, i placed the money on the counter top and waited patiently for them to stop talking looking for someone to complete my transaction. finally, who i believe was the manager, Ms Guieshia matthews gave a complete blank stare, looking pass me as if i didnt have the right cash or if they didnt want what i had to offer..." so i asked is their something wrong?" she rudely said "YOU CAN PLACE THE MONEY IN MY HAND!" when Ms Matthews made this rude comment, we began to get into a verbal dispute.. i responded back by saying " I DIDNT KNOW I INSULTED YOU!.. NOW INSTEAD OF YOUR TRAINED MANGER DEESCALATING THE SITUATION SHOWING HER SUBORDINATES HOW YOU SHOULD PROFESSIONALLY HANDLE A CRISIS, SHE CONTINUED TO SHOW OFF, GETTING INTO A VERBAL ALTERCATION WITH ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER SUBORDINATES.NOW I CAN POSSIBLY GUESS, DURING EMPLOYEE TRAINING, YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE SUPPOSED TO KNOW HOW TO DEFUSE A NONE THREATENING SITUATION safely and calmly WHEN DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC AND AN UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER THUS, PROVIDING A POLITE, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT WHEN ENTERING ONE OF YOUR LOCATIONS. HER APPEARANCE WAS VERY UNSAVORY, TATTOOS FROM THE NECK AREA AND ARMS LIKE A MALE THUG, AND NOT TO MENTIONED THAT HER BEHAVIOR WAS NOT ONLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUT AN OUTRAGE TO YOUR COMPANY AND TO OUR COMMUNITY!"To make matters worst after taking the time to travel down their she refuse me service, THIS IS AN ABUSE OF HER AUTHORITY AND THE LITTLE BIT OF RETAIL POWER AS A MANAGER SHE'S HAS OBTAINED! her engagement is very passive aggressive, and DISRESPECTFUL, BUT once again from READING the above comments on your website, NOW HAS created another blemish on DTLR RECORD WHEN IT COMES TO SERVING THE COMMUNITY!..if ive what of known the level of unprofessional work habits these employees engage into, I would of taken my business else where!..despite her level of unprofessional behavior that is OBVIOUSLY not at all conducive to your company! iv'e tried calling the corporate office, seeking a rectifiable solution.
