  1. I have been going to castle dentist going on two years and all I have had is problems with my teeth they have made me . I have been in pain the whole time and all I can say is they can't make teeth and i'm going to sue for pain and suffering

  2. I had the worst service at a Castle Dental in Humble, Tx. and the dentist start doing a root canal on me and stopped and says she did not have the necessary tools. She should have known that before she began the procedure. Not only did she not apologize to me she did not say anything to me just told the technician and had her to patch it up. On top of that, the office tried bill my insurance carrier for a complete root canal. Now I'm in pain with this tooth and having a hard time finding another dentist who will go behind her work. She more than likely screwed my tooth up even worse, she gives me a prescription pain and penicillin. This place should be shut down and I would not recommend them to anyone.

    1. My husband just recently experienced unpleasantness at this office as well. The staff obviously doesn't have a clue what they are doing and told him one price and he goes back to get his flipper and oh by the way we are charging you again because extraction is separate from flipper.

  3. I have had nothing but rude and discourteous service from Castle Dental in Austin TX. I would never recommend them to anyone. They NEVER pronounce my name correctly, even though it is an ordinary name. They have sent my bills to an incorrect address and refuse to admit their error -- and they have billed me incorrectly.

THE DENTIST THERE TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED AND THEN SNEEK OUT THE BACK DOOR AND YOU DON'T GET TO TALK WITH THEM, ANOTHER PERSON COMES AND GETS YOU AND LEADS YOU TO THE FRONT DESK TO PAY THE BILL AND RENE RUDELY DISMISSES YOU TO LEAVE THE PREMISES!!!!

  5. Castle Dental office in Channelview, Texas is the most incompetent and unorganized office we have ever encountered. We had 3 implants put in my wife's mouth, it's been 1 year and 3 months and she still hasn't gotten her permanent bridge installed. They have tried to charge more than the original estimate twice since this was started. They have sent the bridge back twice to be "fixed" and have done impressions twice....still, no bridge. Appointments keep getting rescheduled[3 times, now]. I guess we are going Monday to talk to a lawyer. My thoughts are....if we can afford implants, rest assured...we can afford an attorney!!!!

  6. I had been going to Castle Dental in Round Rock, Texas for over 3 years and had no problem. I moved Cedar Park, Texas and my first visit I had a falling out with the Dental Hygienist over my having to be pre-medicated because of my medical history because Castle dental in Round Rock said I had to. Never in my life did I ever have to bew pre-medicated. The hygienist said they were putting a call to my cardiologist to get guidance. Of course the doctor or his nurse was not available. I sat down in the chair at approximately 8:15am and continued to wait for clearence even though I continued to say I did not need it and the doctor at the Round Rock clinic never dissputed the need or not. At 8:45am I was told they were still waiting for the doctor's nurse to call back. I left and probably will never be back. When I got back to my apartment, I saw where Castle Dental in Cedar Park had called me for something unknownat 8:15am. I was sitting in the dental chair at that time. The hygienist needs to learn some TLC as well.

I went to the Castle Dental in Round Rock off Palm Valley and it was a horrible experience, love the dentist Dr. Berry, but his dental assistant Tennille was horrible, seemed to be very unknowledgeable about her job, and the office manager was more concerned about her than the customer. I would tell everyone not to go there and rate it a one star as long as these two prejudice people work there. I am Native American and in Management so I know how to treat a customer. Please Corporate fix this issue before it makes the paper and the news media. Sorry to complain I never do but I had to at least let you know about this and with me being connected with several "CITIES" I will be honored to let all my colleague's know about this place and direct them to stay away until we see a change!!!!!

    2. I recently had a partial order for my teeth which was to be put in this friday. when I called about it I found out that it had been broken. why did someone wait until I called to tell me that. Very upset over the communication that I had with the office. Some One needs to wake up and realize that customer communication is very important. I want a refund and my teeth fixed or I will have to see what I have to do. If this keeps up with your company it will cost you greatly down the road

  7. RUN!!! RUN AWAY AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!

    I WENT TO CASTLE DENTAL FOR TWO ROOT CANAL'S AFTER MULTIPLE VISITS AND HORRIBLE SERVICE. I PAID FOR MY ENTIRE PROCEDURE UP FRONT AND WAS DENIED SERVICE OR A REFUND AFTER I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGENANT EVEN THOUGH I HAD A NORMAL NO RISK PREGNANCY WITH NO RESTRICTIONS FROM MY DOTOR. I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL I DELIVERED MY BABY FOR THEM TO FINISH THE WORK I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. I WENT THROUGH A 9 MONTH PREGNANCY WITH SEVER TOOTH PAIN FROM THE UNFINISHED WORK. WHEN THEY FINALLY DID DO THE WORK I HAD TO GO TO A ENDONTIST TO GET ONE ROOT CANAL THEY MESSED UP FIXED (WHICH I PAID FOR) AND I JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT FROM ANOTHER DENTIST THAT THE OTHER ROOT CANAL HAD A CROWN PLACED ON IT THAT IS TO BIG FOR THE TOOTH (AFTER SENDING THE CROWN BACK 3 TIMES BEFORE IT WAS PLACED IN MY MOUTH DUE TO IT BEING THE WRONG SIZE). SO NOW HERE I AM GOIN ON ALMOST 2 YEARS WAITING FOR MY ROOT CANAL TO BE FINISHED. IF THE NEW DENTIST HAD NOT CAUGHT CASTLE DENTAL'S MISTAKE THE IMPROPER FITTING CROWN WOULD CAUSED ME TO NEED AN IMPLANT IN THE FUTURE. IMPLANTS COST UPWARDS OF 3K OR MORE. THESE PPL ARE UNEDUCATED THE DENTIST HAD TO GET APPROVAL AND ADVICE FROM HER SUPERIOR AS HOW TO DO HER JOB! THE ADMIN IS RUDE, THE APPTS ARE NEVER ON TIME, AND THE PRICES ARE NOT WORTH THE POOR QUALITY OF WORK. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF LETTING A MC DONALDS WORKER PLAY IN YOUR MOUTH THEN LETTING THESE PPLE TOUCH YOU. OH YEA THEIR CORP OFFICE WON'T CALL YOU BACK AND THE STRUCTURE OF THE COMPANY IS LITERALLY A MAZE THAT NO ONE CAN NAVIGATE. IM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING SUEING THESE FOOLS!   8. Went to Castle Dental on Westheimer in Houston. Good thing I checked the tools before they used them. Looking at the suction ejector, there was blood in between the metal and plastic. They had never cleaned it off and replied saying that the blood piece would have not touched my mouth. WHAT!!!??? They do not sanitize hands when going from patient to patient and refused to give me the license number for me to file a complaint. Thanks to good old internet! Although my x-ray showed no damage, they 'suggested' I have my filing replaced and a localized cleaning. These people charged me even after I made the complaint about the blood - no refund. I did get a half a$$ed apology that came with an excuse. I have submitted a complaint with their office, the state examiners office as well as my insurance company. I let them know the pain still exists...they invited me to come back. Yeah right....that will never happen.

  9. WENT TO THE DICKINSON TEXAS LOCATION FOR A CLEANING. AFTER THE HYGENTIST PERFORMED THE USUAL SERVICE SERVICE OF XRAYS AND CLEANING THE DENTIST CAME IN AND SAID THE XRAYS LOOKED GOOD, NO PROBLEMS. SHE DIDN'T EVEN LOOK IN MY MOUTH. IF FELT A LITTLE RUSHED OUT OF THE OFFICE BUT DIDN'T THINK MUCH ABOUT IT UNTIL 2 MONTHS LATER WHEN I HAD A CROWN CUTTING INTO MY TONGUE. I WENT TO THE FIRST DENTIST I COULD GET AN APPT WITH AND HE ASKED WHERE I HAD MY TEETH CLEANED B/C THEY HAD PUNCTURED A WHOLE IN THE SIDE OF MY CROWN AND IT NEED TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $1000.00. HE DID WHAT HE COULD TO KEEP THE METAL SMOOTH ENOUGH TO KEEP IT FROM CUTTING MY TONGUE. OF COURSE I WENT BACK TO CASTLE ASKING THAT THEY FIX MY TOOTH SINCE THEY MESSED IT UP. I HAVE BEEN INSULTED AND IGNORED. I HAVE MADE CALLS TO PATIENT SERVICE BUT NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK. I PLAN TO PURSUE THIS MATTER UNTIL I AM SATISFIED WITH THE CORRECTION TO MY TOOTH. $29 CLEANING HAS TURNED INTO AN $1100 BILL.

  10. To whom this may concern:

    I scheduled an appointment on March 12, 2014 for my braces wires to be taken off, xrays, exam, cleaning and wires placed back on. I received a phone call the day before on the 11th, telling me that the hygienist was not coming into the office on that day, even though my appointment was scheduled 6 weeks in advance. They told me that I had to wait an additional 6 weeks to rebook because the hygienist was already booked up. I disagreed on waiting a month due to the lack of communication so they rescheduled my appointment for the following week.

    Now, I had an appointment on March 19, 2014 at 2:30. I sat in the waiting room a hour before I was seen. They did not have my charts ready when I came into the office so she called my insurance at the time of my appointment which delayed me from being seen right away. When I was finally called by the dental assistant, I noticed that the instruments that were used to do my x-rays appeared unsanitary, I asked the dental assistant about it and she said that they were clean so I ignored the issue. I waited an additional hour before I was seen by a dentist to do my exam. He seemed to be in a rush, he was in and out within 5 minutes.

    Next, the front desk staff came to tell me about my bill, so I interrupted to ask how much longer before I would be seen by the hygienist. That was when she told me that the hygienist had left for a meeting and my appointment had been bumped. So I asked to speak to a manager because I had sat in the office now for two hours and I still had not received my service which I scheduled for. The front desk staff told me that the manager had also left for the day. I asked to speak to someone else who could let the manager know to call me and here it is, almost a week later and I still have yet receive a call from the manager. I was also told by the front desk staff that "I need to learn how to make an appointment." She also stated that "she couldn't clean my teeth for me so she didn't know what to tell me" and that "it is my fault that I couldn't get my service." I am very upset about my horrible experience at your office in Houston, Texas. I will no longer get treatment from this office and will be discontinuing my braces treatment as well. I will NEVER recommend this location.

    Lastly, this location is very dirty. The front seating area looks well kept but the back areas where instruments and stations are looks very dirty and worn out, like it has not been cleaned in a while. I had to wipe down my own chair before I sat down because it appeared to have some sort of fluids on it, hopefully it was cleaning disinfectant and not something worse. I will be looking up phone numbers to call the department of health and sanitation on your office.

    Dr. Craig Cutropia and his staff members gave me first-class services, they listen to my concern, answered all my queries. they empathized with my anxiety, they was very genuine. I can not express the gratitude for Dr .Cutropa and his staff members. The services of his expertise and excellent work literally, changed my life. Not only did they fix my teeth so they look better than ever, But, they also treated me like a human being and took exceptional care of me, they made me feel like family.   12. I had some teeth pulled and replaced with an upper and lower plate. At Castle Dental , 8571 Westimer Rd, Houston Tx 77063. And after having them adjusted around ten times they are compleatly usless I can not eat with them or keep them in very Long. I was planing on talking to a lawyer about sueing them and have them pay back the insurance company that paid part of the cost. But I chanced my mind I'm just not going to pay the balnce on my account

  14. My birthday is August 14th and every year I try to go to the dentist before my birthday .. you never know when you may have that photo op. I digress … I scheduled an appointment with Castle Dentist on Northwest highway and it was a disaster! I called and made the appointment on Monday. They scheduled it for Friday the 8th (at least I thought) I printed out all of my paperwork from the online website so that when I arrive we could get right to it. Well I had to fill out two forms when I got there because apparently these two forms are not available online. NO Problem! As I waited patiently, the receptionist called me to the desk to tell me my appointment was not until the 20th. Why would she tell me the 8th and schedule me for the 20th I have no clue! The receptionist then said well I have one for the 13th at 11am. This brought the frustration down. I accepted the date and she wrote the date down on an appointment card. I went today for my appointment and come to find out they lost my paperwork. The paperwork I filled out with all of my information on there; the paperwork that I took the time to save time by completing it in advance; the paperwork that was printed from my printer; the paperwork that is floating around and God knows where it may be! At this point I am PISSED!! The young lady at the desk looked all over for it but could not find them. I told her “Janet” (the lady that took the forms) put them in a blue folder. She went to ask her and not once did she bother to come out the office and assist to locate them. PISSED EVEN MORE … why!?. CARELESSNESS!!... What ever happened to great customer service? I wish I was on the other side and she was in my shoes only to feel the frustration! Needless to say I will NOT have cleaner teeth for my birthday and I am very upset!!! This is not the end … My company will NOT partner with this dentist facility for business!!

  17. I have been in braces for two years and when I started this journey at castle they said they could close my spaces and now my contract is ending July 1 and the spaces are not closed. I have done this for nothing and went to get a second option ad the demist said there ruining my teeth. I am going to sue for pain and suffering and try to get my money back ,because now its going to cost me 6,000 to fix my teeth not including the 5,000 I already paid castle. It has been a very bad experience for me and I'm so, and I am going to get my money back. They do go from patent to patent without changing gloves and I called them on it. I would never go there again and its the Humble location on FM 1960.

  18. Horrible service in Conroe office on Loop 336. Rude office staff who are only interested in talking you into unnecessary treatment plans and services. I had an appointment for a cleaning and checkup. They did the checkup, wanted to replace one of my crowns another dentist had done and after I said "no", they said I'd have to make another appointment to get the cleaning done. They were too "busy". The soonest they could get me in for the cleaning was THREE MONTHS LATER!! They are a pitiful excuse for a dental care office. Do yourself a favor and find another dental office that is patient-centered.

  19. Never ever ever again will I or anyone in my family go there!!! Speaking specifically about the office on Lakeline in Austin. Horrible, discourteous people. Takes money for an office visit, gives my husband a prescription for antibiotics and a pain killer. Then tells him they can't help him, needs to see an oral surgeon. Gives him a referral. One problem.......NO DR. WAS INDICATED ON THE REFERRAL PAPER!!!! Then we call to get our x-rays, which we paid for, and was told the only way we can get them is if we physically go in with a flash drive so they can download it. Why should we have to go out of our way for something that we already paid for. After fighting with someone in the office who shall remain nameless, she laughed at me which I found completely rude. Then I called corporate. Was I that stupid to think they would be any different? Again, not caring people only doing the very minimum so they can keep the suits happy in money!! STAY AWAY!!!! Wait one more day to find a good, qualified dentist.

  33. I too had the same bad experience in all of the above posts. I'm being charged currently for dental work that I'm not receiving. I get bills monthly and my braces that I got put on have not been taken care of properly in over 6 months. What can we do as a group!? This company is whack and as a health care professional they should be held accountable for their lack of compliance in the way they care for patients as a whole.

  34. Also had bad experiences. I went to the Houston location on Kirby which is now closed. Never knew which Doctor you would get. The last one was condescending, rude and inappropriate. The whole visit was ridiculous. Only good thing was he said I didn't need the fillings that were deemed necessary on the previous visit.

    The company sent me a letter saying they owed me money because the fillings weren't done. It's been two months since then. The money hasn't appeared in state unclaimed property like they said it would in the letter. I sent the filled out letter to another office on Fannin (as instructed) and still no check has been mailed to me. Calling corporate gets no one on the phone.

    And I'm pretty sure I was charged note then the originally quoted price. Their billing is confusing. Since I finally paid off the financed amount I just want them to pay what they admitted they owed so I can be done with them.

    2. Still getting the runaround regarding refunding the money I was overcharged. Every time I call they say the office manager isn't available and will call back, but no one ever calls back.

  37. I went to the office in Goodlettsville, Tn Where Larry Propst was the dentist, I had such a awful experience. My husband took a half day off work to take me and we waited a hour in the waiting room to be told they'd be doing nothing for my time there except to recement a partial that they already had and would be charging me a second time for that would likely not hold either, instead of the evaluating me for what work i needed done like i thought , I guess they didn't have time to see me but left me waiting forever. I paid 160 to get a X-ray and that lil bit glue my very first visit which was also left to wait a hour before being seen by anyone. Ive never been to a dental office before where you are left waiting a hour to be even seen by the assistant worth the dentist and then be told you basicly lost half day of pay and your time waiting for nothing. I left very upset, and further lost trust in dentist .
