Management in Aurora, Co namedJake is rude and offered no solution to my problem. I dined and then ordered food to go and when I arrived home, the food did not taste well. I called in to explain this to him and he proceeded to tell me numerous times that I "should have never ordered to go and I should have eaten my food in the restaurant". I told him that his response was not very customer friendly and he proceeded with "well what else would you like for me to say because there's nothing I can do". I ended the call promptly. I am informing you guys that after frequenting BJs Brewhouse at least once a month for 4 years in s row, I will never visit again.
I sit here writing to you as a concerned cook that worked 4 day for your company and I am not educated have no degree in anything but I do love food and I am very passionat about cooking food the things that I saw in one of your locations made me very sad and it broke my heart to see the the miss use of food and the ignorance of the complete staff about food please I only write to you because I am a very poor man I save a whole month to take my family out to eat and if I was met with the kind of poor food quality I was met with I would just never eat out to a sit down place ever on the line you have a lot of confidant kids with big mouths that in the end sacrifice speed over quality I know that you are a big company but I urge no I challenge you to supprise all your locations to see how they actually run your restaurants I trust you as I would trust any one that if I the investor was paying a manger a good salary to run my investment they should represent every aspect of my company the complete lac of leadership in this restaurant makes me sad I'm my short career at ur location when did we forget to have or show a bit of passion for what we do I m only an simple cook that is very confidant in his art with much respect and appreciation I hope that not now but one day we can all have passion for our trade think of how much more profit your company can make and how much bigger of a wait you had if you had some one with leadership to empower everyone in the restaurant to have some kind of passion for their work again i trust you to please please bring back the pride and joy to work as a simple ignorant line cook that loves to make people happy by cooking fast clean and very precise I don't know much but trust me I do know my food maybe some day I can have a great feeling to know that everyone had integrity in their skill
As a long time employee i have seen the good bad and ugly of all at the bjs in Cupertino. Standards have fallen very short from gold standard at this location. Promises of growth and setting eachother up for sucess are not the terms of bjs anymore. Rodney Winstead is slowly driving that location into the ground. His relentless ability to punish those without completely comprehending the entire situation is poor management and will result in action taken against the company as a whole.
A server named Jessica at Bj's brewhouse in Pembroke Pines, FL was unforgivably rude. Her attitude and the faces she would make unknowingly thinking I wasn't looking at her every move since she first spoke to me with a tone that I wouldn't give my own mother, so why would you give it to a customer that is bringing in business to the restaurant you work at. I am constantly spreading the word of how incredible to food is and the great customer service usually provided, but last night was a nightmare. Usually when you sit close next to the bar (which is what we did) you receive your food fast and steamy... It took an entire hour to bring our food and to complete the experience, our food came cold. To conculde, we had to pack our meals and leave because we did not like the vibe she was giving us. It was noted and unnecessary. Our entire dining experience there was terrible. To make Jessica a better server I would suggest she change her attitude and the way she approaches customers. We were greeted with a serious face.
I will never come back to your restaurant ever again! I was in your restaurant in Melbourne today and was sitting outside trying to enjoy my lunch when three managers and a young gentleman came out. They weren't out there five seconds when one of the managers started berating the young man accusing him of arson and threatening to call the police and having him band from not only the store but the whole mall! The other two managers said nothing! The poor man couldn't even get a word in edgewise. He had the right to defend himself! And being a cook as well, there was probably nothing more than a small grease fire, which is all to common in kitchens! If that is how you treat your employees without any regard or respect then you should not even be in business! Good riddance to bad rubbish!
So I file a complaint about management and their treatment of the fellow associates and you delete it! Don't worry though, several phone calls will be made to corporate head quarters tomorrow!
Hello, I write to you as a server who works for BJS. I love my job and its fun for me to work in the restaurant atmosphere. Unfortunately, one of my managers here is constantly picking on me. Why is it he is the only one who dislikes me? He has been doing the schedule and lately giving me food running shifts only. Every time, another manager has to go back in and fix the schedule for me so I have hours. Not only that, but when I work with him on the floor he makes remarks that mistakes "must be HER" (as in me) but it never even is... I consider myself to be an excellent server and like I said, I love my job and I am understanding to criticism but when I am not even doing anything to get picked on by this one manager when the other managers recognize my great preformance. This managers name is Kenneth Elwood. I have no idea what he has against me but its hurting me financially and its hurting me emotionally because i genuinely do enjoy working for BJs and i really really dont want to leave.. This is the Melbourne FL location. I really hope someone sees this.. thank you for your time, its greatly appreciated.
I worked at BJs in Norman oklahoma. The staff, including management are complete morons and assholes and the whole team is on drugs. Theres constant sexual harassment and the management does nothing about it. And btw i quit wasnt fired so im not here posting because im pissed. I just think something needs to be done about this. I personally watched people drop food on the ground then cook or serve it. Sean McDaniels couldnt manage his way out of a paper bag and has no idea how to treat his employees. He is a big part of the sexual harassment. His boss Will Harris does nothing and agrees with everything Sean says. This place is a joke. Chris Yates is the DO or something like that but they seem to hide everything ir he doesn't care. Also THEY REFUSE TO GIVE HOURLY EMPLOYEES BREAKS. This is agaisnt the law in Oklahoma.

The store in Frederick MD is horrible...The KM is sleeping with an employee...Our GM is a big pothead and one of the manager jermery stays after till 6a.m.partying with the girl who sleeps with our KM...can you believe this crap?? And nothing is being done about it..
The management at BJs At Cottonwood in Albuquerque NM is as corrupt as it gets. Bradon Higgins has been having sexual relations with a subordinate employee WHILE at work. Not only is this extremely offensive, but blatant sezual harrassment and sezual misconduct. Several employees know of them sneaking into the data room, the storage outside or even the bathroom to screw during business hours. When I brought this up to coorporate in a formal complaint, I was asked,"Is that not allowed where ya'll work?" I was disgusted by coorporates' ignorance and obvious lack of concern. Its not allowed anywhere and there are federal regulations in place to prevent it. Because of their sexual relations, the server/bartender Brandon Higgins is sceewing receives obvious favortism including promotions and company advancements. On top of it, Brandon drinks to the point of intoxication while at work via numerous rafts per shift, and goes outside to smoke weed in his car during shift.Despite bringing this to all the proper channels, its been ignored as if I have no voice in their crooked good ol boys club.
Aftet reviewing the numerous complaints by other fellow emplyees regarding sexual harrassment, drigs, corruption and other common themes, I realized that even this coorporate complaint comment board is just another BJs cooproate joke. Our concerns arent addressed, they're covered up to protect the company. Its like the Vatican moving child molesting clergy to a different location after they promise not to touch anymore little boys. Im disgusted by the blatant lack of professional responsibility and coorporate mismanagement that seems to just be part of BJs Gold Standard.
Bjs in North Canton Ohio is unprofessional I used to work there and first things first they are serving dirty dishes employees are dating the food at the stations either over temp or under temp they cross contaminate if you wasn't go there during store hours and run test they will absolutely not pass the management tries to half ass make things look good but if you check I mean really check you will find so many violations I quit because of it I didnt want to be apart of a restaurant that doesn't care like I said they serving dirty dishes they cross contaminate and just stir it in instead of changing it I just couldn't work under those conditions even the walkin freezer floor had food caked on it so disgusting
Bjs in North Canton ohio is supposed to be smoke free but they smoke out back by the trash I could've sworn I seen a few employees smoking weed on the job the manager Jeremy is flirting with his kitchen staff and Patrick cross contaminates the food so his cooks won't have to remake the food what if that person had a bad allergy to that food??? I called corporate office to file a complaint and the person I needed to speak to was "not available." They asked me to leave my info and that they would contact me as soon as they can. I hope they call me back soon because if they don't I will take it to the media. The reason why I want to file a complaint is because I feel discriminated against for my skin color. I can't believe that in 2016 there are still some racist people in CALIFORNIA out of all places. BJ's was not even my first choice to begin with to celebrate my birthday (Yes on my birthday) but I decided to go there because my first choice was not open yet. So the next best choice or so I thought WAS BJ's (not anymore). It was probably one of the worst ideas I had. I have never felt so discriminated before in my life. My mother drove from another city about an hour away to meet me and my brother for lunch to celebrate my birthday. So we show up to this BJ's location in Anaheim Hills. As we are walking in we see the hostess walking away at first I didn't think much of it besides her being rude for not greeting us but I thought she might have needed to go get something real quick and then come to seat us as BJ's was not full at all which is another thing. It wasn't full so I don't understand why they didn't help us and seat us right away. So we are standing there by the hostess desk for about 10 minutes and still NO ONE shows up and NO ONE greeted us or told us to give them a minute. Absolutely NO ONE came to help us out or to tell us they would be right with us. After waiting 10 minutes at the hostess desk, me and my mom decide to take a seat while my brother waited at the host desk and still NO ONE showed up we probably waited in all about 30 minutes and not one employee, not a buser, not a waitress, hostess, or manager came in contact with us. It was very upsetting that there being many tables available, no one else waiting to be seated, and many employees walking around not one person came to help us out. That is why I believe we were discriminated against for our skin color. Bj's has definietly lost a customer. I WILL NOT GO TO ANY BJ'S after todays incident. On a happier note when we left BJ's we went to EL CHOLO Mexican restaurant right across from BJ's and we had a great experience there. Even before we got to the door the hostess opened the door for us and welcomed us right in and seated us right away. The food was great and we got a complimentary dessert because it was my birthday. Our bill came out to about $100 and we left our waiter a $20 tip. He was awesome!! I will definitely be returning to El Cholo. Your loss BJ's brewhouse.

THE MAIN BOSS NOAH WAS GREAT TO HER THE ONE UNDER HER HAS TREATED HER UNJUST AND POORLY. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED BJS SINCE THE OPENED IN MY HOMETOWN IN CONCORD,CA. SHE IS PART TIME WORKING EVENINGS SHE SHOWED UP FOR HER FIRST SAY MONDAY 11/7 AND PASSED OUT AND THE BOSS CHEWED HER OUT IN FRONT OF EVERYON. MADE HER FEEL WORTHLESS. THATS NOT HOW YOU TREAT EMPLOYEES. HE HAS NOW CHANGED HER SCHEDULE SO IT DOESNT ACCOMIDATE HER AND MADE IT DAYS AND TOLD HER ' SHOW UP OR,FIND A NEW JOB' FIRST OFF THAT WRONG. BJ's needs an anonymous help-line for disgruntled employees! Wow... I love our BJ's iN Las Vegas, they always accommodate my orders for corporate lunches really well, the food is great and so are the staff. I'm sorry to read so many negative comments on this public forum.
BJ's Culver City, Ca - Located at Westfield MallVisited this BJ's last Wednesday, which made me remember why I don't patronize this particular BJ's. My family and I were satisfied until we paid for our meals. We asked for two separate checks, which we received with no problem. The issue was my bill was $66.19 and I paid $70 cash; my daughter's bill was $44 and some change, she paid $45 cash. We waited close to 15 minutes at least for our change. We had to ask another server to ask our server to bring our change and receipts. Our server sent someone else to bring my change ($3.81). My daughter never received her change. I think our server assumed we wanted her to keep it as a tip. However, I had her tip at the table ($10). I was waiting to receive my change to add the $3 with the $10 to leave a tip of $13. We asked to speak to the Manager because we had been waiting so long for our change and receipts. The Assistant General Manager, Felix came to our table. This is when things went South. Our server finally came to give my daughter her change and slammed it down on the table with an attitude (in front of her Manager). I tried to talk to her to let her know I had her tip at the table and I would never leave only a $3 tip. She turned her back and walked away before I could finish my statement. Felix the Manager did not acknowledge her rude, disrespectful and abrupt behavior. When we called it to his attention, he became belligerent with a nasty sarcastic tone . I will never return or patronize this BJ's again. I asked Felix time and time again for his Manager's name. He only insulted my intelligence and wasted my time by never giving me the information. FELIX SHOULD BE FIRED! This incident made me remember Felix and the reason why I don't visit this location. I don't think retraining would help him at this point. Felix exhibits a god-complex, which is very offensive. He lacks customer service skills, conflict resolution and most of respect and professionalism. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN.
Just had to let you know what a great manager Jason is at your restaurant at the South Hill Village in Pittsburgh, Pa. I love your restaurant but my takeout order wasn't up to your usual standards. I called and Jason was truly concerned and sent me a giftcard to make up for the error. He followed up with my survey and made sure I was satisfied. Customer service this good will keep me coming back and referring all my friends to BJs.
I had never felt discriminated, but it happened today at BJ's!! We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and have a good time with our family. Waiter was rude as hell and seemed to be having a bad time serving our table. He yelled at my granddaughter because he couldn't hear what she was ordering. We reported his behavior to the manager and they moved him elsewhere and send us a new waiter but the tension was there. Management never approached our table to see what had happened. I guess you have to be WHITE to get good service at BJ's. For sure we are not retuning!! Our $200 dollar bill was not good enough! I hope HE (waiter) gets a piece of his own medicine soon!!!
My name is Dizelle Dowell. I went to BJ's in Arlington Texas. Going to there restroom as I walked down there ramp in this particular section, I slipped fell and broke my wrist. You would think that as popular as this restaurant is they would not treat you like you are nothing. A manager never came to take an incident report or even checked to see if I was ok. I had to call them the next day to report the fall. The manager Cliff said he had heard someone fell. But he was in another part of the restaurant. Brian or Byron was the manager in that section. Well it has been over a month now and their so called claims insurance people have not done anything to resolve this problem. So now I have to make it a legal matter which I didn't want to.
