    1. All of the owners and operators and the CEO"S of Belk are going to die and burn in Hell for making their employee work on Thanksgiving Day.. This is the day we give Thanks to Our God for All of The Blessings He Has Given Us!! I think they are very Greedy and this is just not right...4 of our family members are not going to be able to travel and spend Thanksgiving with their family because of these damn greedy people..They should be very ashamed of themselves..But Our God In Heaven will make them pay..

    2. I RECENTLY HAD AN ISSUE AT THE LOCAL BELK IN LAUREL, MS. I HAD RETURNED A CHRISTMAS GIFT AND MANAGEMENT HAD TO BE PRESENT TO OKAY THE TRANSACTION. THEY PAGED LEE NICHOLSON AND AFTER 20-30 MINUTES SHE FINALLY SHOWED UP. WHEN SHE SHOWED UP SHE REVIEWED THE TRANSACTION AND SUDDENLY STARTED OPENLY FUSSING AT THE ASSOCIATE WHO HAD BEEN HELPING ME (SHE PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE, BTW). SHE THEN PROCEDED TO TELL ME THAT BELK WASN'T A BANK AND THEY DON'T EVER GIVE CASH FOR A RETURN. THANKS TO HER I WILL BE DRIVING TO HATTIESBURG TO PURCHASE MY MAKEUP FROM NOW ON.... I WON'T SPEND ANOTHER DIME IN THE LAUREL BELK.

  3. I have had an issue with my credit payment for months. I have tried resolving it at the store where I enrolled. I have never receive my card and was able to use credit by the staff calling to obtain my number while I waited for my card. In the mean time, (January), I received notice of unpaid bill. With no account I can't rectify online. No one in all of my calls will give me my acct. #. Apparently there is a wrong # on my bank routing for the auto pay. I still don't have my card or my account # to take care of this. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with service on this issue for 3 months. I don't know what I have to do to pay my bill and cancel my account. This is ridiculous.

  4. Why is it that this is the second year in a row that you have Kim Rogers pique polo in small, medium, large, and exlarge, but not in womens 1x 2x 3x? You have had them because I bought 24 of them.When I ask in the store No one seems to know . They don' seem to know how to find out.This is the Winchester Va store.

  5. If you go into a Belk store and they ask if you would like to apply for one of their credit cards, DON'T!!! You may be at risk of identity theft!!

  6. I work at one of the warehouses for Belks. You are treated horrible by the supervisor if you are not one of their picks. Not only that if you question what one of them say, to be specific the plant managers family members(supervisor) you will be unemployed. Never once have I worked for a company where I had to document every day because I fear losing my job because I'm not buddy buddy with the team lead or supervisor.

  7. I am a handicap person using a scooter at the Thomasville, GA Belk store. That store is so crowded you can't get around it well at all!! They have perfume displays in the isles blocking your pathway and then in the handbag dept just forget going into it all!!! NO ROOM to go between the isles in the handbag section!!! In the today woman's section forget about trying to get a scooter around in that dept.!!! So many racks packed so close together!! It's hard to push a shoppingcart thru that mess!!!! knocking clothes off the racks!!! in the lines, towels section forget going between the counters to look at anything they are so close and not enough room!!!! then in the dishes and cookware sections same problem NO ROOM to go between the racks!!! HOW CAN THIS STORE GET BY NOT BEING ADA ACCESSIBLE????? have talked with the manager 2x about this problems and no results other than he tells me call him when I want to look at something and he will bring it to me!!! That is not shopping!!! I like to take my time and look thru the racks and pick what I want!!!! Guess nothing will come of this note!!!!! I did make a complaint with your customer service and the guy that took the complaint sent it to the store and not corporate like I asked him to do!!!!!

  8. Belk Customer Service is horrible!!!!! I haven't had a problem in the store as the associates have always been nice. However, customer service and corporate have no respect for their customers. They do not answer emails even after sending a response saying they will address your email as soon as possible. I even resent the email days later. Been 2 weeks. Still no response. Called corporate office. Acted like they were being bothered even though its their paying JOB! In this economy they should be thankful to have a job, not act like its a bother to be there. I'm sure other folks would love a job and be thankful! You get transferred several times only to land on someone's answering machine who never returns your call. They send you these "great" coupons that exclude half the store and then act like its something good they are doing. They do not respect or value customers. Shop elsewhere. As mentioned, I have had good store experiences so nothing against the stores. I just have a problem with corporate. They say they want to hear your concerns but they don't. Its an act.

  9. The insert in Belks The Look fall 2014 for Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf is offensive and totally inappropriate. I have always thought they were pretty family safe as far as ads. I hope others comment on this .

  10. I know all the owners and CEO's will be spending their Thanksgiving's at homes but not their dedicated employees..they have to work on Thanksgiving Day..and that is just not right!!! I will never ever purchase anything else from Belk in any way!!!

  11. Love the way Store Planning Directors provide vendors with their home addresses so they can receive their expensive Christmas goodies - that's how they get around the Corporate Gift policies! Dawn LuAnn & Clay!

  12. I went to Belk in Sumter,SC and as usual was overwhelmed with the Ladies bathroom it was totally disgusting !! I did speak with a manager of the store who told me she was on the way there she had to clean and is still not good the toilet seats (which probably cost less than 10.00$) are worn out besides worrying about diseases that holds it!! Also as far as taking handicapped people in door is terrible doors are so heavy not very good for wheelchairs and walkers and bathroom not handicapped accessible!

  13. I was T bELKS STORE TODAY IN CLARKSVILLE TN. BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS. THE MENS DEPT WAS SUCH A TERRIBLE MESS I COULDN,T EVEN FIND THE SIZE FOR A MANS SHIRT. THIS WAS AT 11;00 THEY OPEN AT 10:00. I WONDERED WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED. THE DESK HAD SHIRTS PILED THAT HAD NEVER BEEN HUNG UP.THE GIRL AT THE REGISTER SAID SHE HAD'T GOTTEN AROUND TO IT.THIS STORE NEEDS TO HAVE SOMEONE TO CHECK OUT THEIR PLACE BEFORE DOORS OPEN.I PROBABLY WANT GO BACK,TO SUCH A MESS,THE SHIRTS WERE LAYING IN THE FLOOR.LOTS OF LUCK BELKS

  14. several days ago I was in the Turkey Creek store when I heard someone use the F word, I commented that was rude of a customer. I was told he was a manager and his name was Jason. As he walked by I could smell him and he looked like he had slept in his clothes and his shirt tail was partially out. As a recruiter and trainer for sales and leadership training I was amazed by this. I have looked at Belk"s leadership and sales associate treatment and I am amazed that anyone would work there. They expect someone to work eight hours with no lunch schedule.The managers are non existing and I never saw one. Any good leader knows that you manage things and lead people, A executive leads by example and motivation and not by intimidation. The morale was low and everyone knows that a unhappy employee is one of low productivity. High morale begins with a leader that is visible and encouraging to all employees. He or she is one that cares about the employees. Come on CEOs and executives, let your employees that you care about them. You have your life set, they are working just to make it and you are reaping their labor.

  15. Today I had an interview at the Belk inViera ,Florida.Never have I been treated in the manner that I was at this interview.I was belittled, and discriminated against all because of my looks. The manager that interviewed me name was tracy.She never asked about my exsperience, capabilities, or even why had I chosen to apply for the company Belks.She spoke to me all of three minutes and the interview consisted of her telling me about my looks and did I know they work hard , and that I do know that I would have to clean the bathroom and being that I'm beautiful she didn't think I was capable. I looked forward in impressing the interviewer and setting the best first impression, but the entire interview she just shut me down and converted back to my looks and my business wear.People should be ever so careful how they treat people they come in contact with. What if I wasn't a strong individual who had been looking for a job, and had yet to accomplish achieving a job, and had an emotional problems, that interview would have made a weak minded individual feel not good enough, or even sent them over the edge.

  16. I recently visited Belk in Gulfport, MS. I must say I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the store. Actually it was rather gross. I have been in this store many times, but I must say everytime I visit I see no improvement. There are broken hangers and parts all over the floor throughout the store, the dressing rooms are full of cloths and often smell bad, the carpets throughout the entire store are filthy and stained, there are clothes all over the floor in all departments. A dressing room with filthy carpet, broken doors that won't close, peeling wallpaper, and broken seats is not where I would want to try on clothes. There are check sheets hanging on the wall in the dressing room that are meant to be signed off several times a day after cleaning. I have pictures of all of these things, however this sight does not give me an option to post them. I like the variety at belk,but until they clean up the store I will not be returning.

  18. I am totally applauded by the services i received at the Tupelo, Ms. store. I called the cooperate office and was connected to the Tupelo store.The issue was not resolved. I will continue to call the cooperate office. They are very disrespectful to the customer. People are sometime local customers and the employees often discuss the customers, say some things that are appropriate. people are tired of being treated poorly by the employees, Customer spend their hard earned money. Too bad there are not a lot of options for shopping. Main reason Tupelo does not continue to grow because of the narrow mined people.
