  2. I agree the Naperville Baymont is the worst ever. The General Manager needs to be replaced in order to ensure better customer satisfaction and giving guests a more enjoyable hotel stay.

    1. Totally agree, the general manager doesn't know how to deal with customers so whenever there is a problem he tells the front desk ladies to deal with it, I don't know how he even got a job as a GM he should be doing the laundry or find another job....Ali has the worst customer service skills that I have seen anywhere

  8. Stayed at the Baymont in Washington Indiana on May 3rd 2013. I called from out of town to verify the pool and hot tub were open and working properly before choosing this hotel. I asked again at check-in. Had the clerk at the front desk try to get the hot tub jets to work (the control are in the office) and he told us he would put in a request for maintenance. I reminded him that I verified this before choosing this hotel and that the sign on the counter stated if you have a problem tell them, if they cannot fix it your night is FREE...... Two hours later still no working hot tub. I go to the desk in the morning and explain all of this to the lady working at the desk and her response was, "Maintenance said it was working this morning and I will put in another request"... I paid $140 and did NOT get what I paid for. I am trying to contact someone through corporate now to rectify this

  9. Hello Corporate for Baymont!! I wanted to email you about a great experience we had at Baymont Inn is Logan, Ohio. We were attending a wedding in that area and stayed at your Logan facility. We had a great time and overall experience. Your employee, Valery Junge, was great!!! We needed a room quickly to dress for the wedding. She went out of her way to accommodate us. We got our room early and had lots of time to get ready. She had a great attitude, personality and was the consummate professional!!! I told her she deserves a 'Thanksgiving Turkey' this year!!!! She should be recognized by corporate, etc. When you have great employees, you are very fortunate!!! Again, we had a great time and we were impressed with Baymont!! Keep up the good work!!! -Rich and Jan Gray, Avon Lake, Ohio. (guests on May 25, 2013)

  10. The Baymont in on I-35 Service Road in South Oklahoma City is the worst hotel experience I've ever had...and I didn't stay. The rooms have exterior doors and the first room we were given, we entered to find flies in the room. The weather stripping at the bottom of the door was over 3/4 missing which meant there was approximately a 3/4 inch gap allowing for insects to easily enter. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Vents were filthy. Ice bucket dirty. We returned to the front desk expressing our concern. We were then assigned another room. This room was worse than the first. When I entered the room, I noticed more flies, and approximately 7 inches of the weather stripping missing. I went to turn on the lamp and the switch didn't work. I reached behind and found it unplugged, but was horrified to see also the worst filth ever, an empty Dr. Pepper can, smoked cigarette butt, what appeared to be a used kleenex, and other unidentifiable trash. There were what appeared to be food crumbs on the carpet just next to the bed, soda can sticky rings on the table, hairs on the bathroom floor and hairs on the toilet when I lifted the lid. There was what appeared to be two urine spots on the tub, black unidentified particles in the tub, and a very unclean nasty mirror which had a large oily substance about the size of a hand on it. I took pictures and have called corporate. I was so sickened I don't know if I'll ever be able to stay at a Baymont again (though I know this is likely an isolated incident with this property). We immediately checked out, but Baymont corporate needs to know of instances such as this in order to try and rectify those who are not managing the properties as should be, as it creates a negative association with your branding.

  11. This is the worst Baymont Inn Chattanooga Tennessee. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The toilet wouldn't flush so she brought ME the plunger. This hotel was so nasty and reeked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast wasn't good at all. There were other people there complaining at breakfast to us

  12. Baymont Inn at Ludington MI - also in the running for worst ever. I called it Hotel Transylvania. Have filed a dispute over my bill due to the horrors faced in this place. However, the 2 poor overworked ladies at the desk were helpful, moved us to another, almost as bad but not quite, room. They helped me fax a business emergency form when the unexpected came up. Yet my son saw the manager reaming them in public when he came down to the desk. NOT COOL. The rooms had trashed rooftop views, mousehole in the floorboard, non-flushing toilet, non-working fridge, won't-stop-running microwave, shower that would go either scalding or ice - no in-between. Huge patches on the ceiling & walls, big patchy spot on the door - under the "Ambassador Suite" sign, and black mold all around the toilet grouting. I have never in my long life filed a hotel grievance - this is a first.

I am very disappointed with Baymont Inn in Columbus, Ohio. I was charged SEVERAL times for a room that I was only in for about 6 hours. I booked in at 6:00 am and out by noon. I called the Inn and was told "NO" I could not speak with the manager, "NO" that could not have happened, & "NO" I could not get any contact information to speak with someone besides the manager (i.e corp.number)! The woman on the phone told me the manager would not be in until 2:00 pm today so I left my information. To no surprise there was no return call. I called back at 3:00 pm to be told he has already left for the day. I was fortunate enough to find this information online so that I could contact someone else. Sadly I was told by the customer service # that I should have a reply within the next five days. This is very bad business and as much as I travel I have never had this happen before. This Inn falls very short in many ways! Dirty rooms, bad service all the way around. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I would rather pay more money and be treated with respect and dignity. It is a shame to see so many complaints above...I pray they come thru for these people and at least provide a discount or reimburse the money to the people treated to badly.

  14. I do not think Baymont execs take hotel business seriously. I stay in hotels 80 percent of the time. The Marriott is the very best.. I am now at a Baymont in Decatur Indiana The worst staff ever. Lazy and do not give a darn about complaints. They are the pits. Never again will I stay in a baymont. Wyndham you need to go inspect these bug infiltrated hotels. You should be ashamed that you even put Baymont on this one. .

  15. Don't waste your time or $$$ staying at the WORST..... Because it is located in KODAK, KY!!! They need some serious front desk replacements to start with, carpet in halls smell like cat piss and are nasty! They also need to educate themselves with persons with disabilities! They have parking, then the door is out of order for a remodeling issue! Place was full, and an exit is blocked off, fire code is violated in every way possible! The light was out at the side door where it WAS supposed to be handicapped accessible. TV did NOT work the entire time, bugs all over the room.... No apology ever given, so unprofessional, and I will NEVER spend another dime at one of these places..... EVER AGAIN!

  16. I stayed at one of your flag location in Charlotte NC 8-11 thru 8-16-13. I was attending a property management program in the area. I fully realize this location is rated 2 stars.

I feel that I should bring to your attention a list of concerns that I was presented with many I view as safety issues:

    1. Stuck in elevator upon arrival, I learned that the door needs to be assisted to open. The buttons on the floor are missing.
    2. The refrigerator in the room needed to be tilted back in order to open. The carpet prevented the door from opening; the microwave was located on top.
    3. The microwave had to be plug in to use, unplug TV reach behind TV and dresser to plug in. Microwave had to be moved to reach plug, now hanging over the edge.
    4. The toilet both seat and handle broken, the remains of manufactures label still on tub.
    5. The light is on a timer; the initial cycle is approx. 14 sec. making a shower difficult, having to waive out- side the curtain, missing the cycle would mean exiting the shower and resetting the light which was included in a box with a broken outlet.(photo attached) Also no GFI included? Other outlets in hallways not grounded.
    6. The light upon entering the room was not functional, having to cross the room to turn on a light.
    7. The exit security is compromised both by sticks that remained in use for several days to prop open the doors which were in place in the early morning, no one in sight. The door closed was weak and did not secure the door most of the attempts. Note a shooting accrued at an adjacent questionable property on my stay.

    RESPONSE FROM CORPERATE MANAGEMENT: UNINTERESTED

  17. My sister and I checked into a Baymont Hotel in Clarksville, Tenn. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, but when we went to our room, I got ready to take a shower and pulled back the shower curtain and two big clumps of hair came out and into the shower, so I called the front desk, she checked us into another room, and when my sister and I went to the next room, and opened the door and there were two men sitting on the beds in that room, so I again went to the front desk, and she said that the manager had told her they were supposed to have checked out, so gave us back $20 and again gave us another room. We then took all of our things to the next room, and I immediately went into the bathroom to check it out, and pushed up the toilet seat and there was pee and hair all around it. I called the front desk and then just got all of our money back and we went to a completely different hotel. I am a rooms inspector and I was completely disgusted by the cleanliness of the rooms. Although the lady at the front desk was very apologetic and understanding and had no problem giving us our money back, this should not have happened in the first place. Being a rooms inspector, I know what to look for and was really disappointed in this hotel.

  21. My husband and I stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Waunakee Wisconsin for 5 nights Sept 26,2013 through the 30th. We travel a fair amount and this was one of the worst places we have stayed. Unfortunately we had booked our stay through Travelocity and were unable to move to a descent hotel. As soon as we came through the front door I knew we were in trouble as the place smelled like a dirty musty and moldy basement. The room was dark, dirty and very dated. The carpet was worn, dirty and spotted, the toilet seat was loose and shifted when you sat on it, the tiled floor around the toilet was rusted and had dirt built up. The door to the room had to be pulled or pushed shut to close it. Front desk employees were pleasant. Needless to say I will never stay in another Wyndham hotel again or book through a company like Travelocity again.

  22. Baymont in Waunakee, Wisconsin wins dubious distinction as WORST hotel ever.
Gave me a key to someone's room and I walked in on them. The front desk man didn't believe me so he walked in on them too just to try and prove me wrong. Room had a sofa in it that looked like it had been taken out of a dumpster. No phone in room. I mentioned this to next front desk manager and she didn't believe me. Had to come in and verify and then blamed housekeeping. Charged me the wrong room rate for one of the nights and then just for fun charged me an even higher rate for a third night. I was only there for 2 nights. I asked to have the extra night taken off of my bill but the lady at the desk informed me she didn't know how to do that and wouldn't even try because a previous guest had the same problem and it caused a "glitch" when she tried to fix it.
I blame myself partially because I stayed in this same wretched spot in April. While I was out, my sister-in-law came in and told the front desk that they should let her into my room to change clothes. Yes, she was wrong to do that, but they were crazy to have let her in. They had never seen her before. I came back and knew that someone had been in there with all of my possesions and luggage there for the taking. Sheesh!!! They should have paid me to stay there. The coffee was good but the breakfast unedible.

  23. On Nov. 16 2013 my son, grandson and I stayed at Baymont Inn in Sharonville, Ohio ( which should be renamed the Bates Motel ) and was told prior to checking in that breakfast would consist of biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, oatmeal, toast, juice, milk and coffee, so we thought that would be a good breakfast and save us from spending additional money at a restaurant. We asked to see a room, which they agreed to and the room appeared to meet our needs, but after checking into room 107 we found there was no remote and after two attempts to get a working one from the desk we were told they were sending someone out for batteries which they did and three hours later we had a working remote !!!! The next morning we discovered that the breakfast they had promised was only a fantasy, as the real offering was mini muffins, toast, milk ( with a dirty delivery tube ) and coffee. After declining the breakfast we returned to our room to shower, only to discover there was NO cold water in the shower only HOT, very hot, making it impossible to shower.... At checkout I asked for a discount and was offered a measly $10 for our inconvenience and was told the manager would be around tomorrow if I wanted to discuss it with him, but we were leaving that day ... In the future we will only stay in American operated motels/hotels....

  26. I am a parent and we live in Rapid City SD and my son and his girlfriend were going to Minnesota to see a Timberwolves game and we had them stay halfway in Sioux Falls SD at the Baymont. The kids are under 21 and they would not let them stay at the motel and would not refund their money. The weather is not very nice there right now and we were in a pickle. Amanda was the front desk help (some help she was). So our kids are stuck in Sioux Falls and she was horrible to our kids and to us. She said that they are not her kids and that they are not her problem. WHAT!!! no they are not her kids but wait until she has kids and this happens to her. I hope she remembers this incident. it is a horrible feeling knowing your kids are unable to get into the hotel you paid for. I just did not want them to drive all the way to MN. Well after many phone calls, to many nasty people from the Baymont, the kids left.
They are safe now at the Holiday Inn!!

  29. Worst stay ever in Branson. Mo Baymont Inn. This was the one on Hwy76 near the 65 south exit. We were there for 4 days no one cleaned our shower until i reqeusted. The towels were so old and hard to the touch I would only use them to wash my floor. We had to use these to dry with. The Pillows were so old and soft you could not sleep nothing to support your neck. We also tried to get a handy cap room but only 1 in hotel with 1 queen size bed. These were not queen size beds. There were three of us. I will never stay at Baymont again.

I will spread the word as well!!

We went on priceline hotels to book our reservations on 6/12/14. We booked 2 rooms. We were told by priceline to call your hotel and make accommodation requests. They gave me the direct line to the hotel. I am attavhing a photo of my phone log showing I contacted your Hotel on June 12th 2014 at exactly 11 01 p.m. Hey gentlemen answered the phone I explained to him that we just a book 2 rooms through Priceline at your hotel and special accommodations were needed. These accommodations were a request for the first or second floor because I am afraid of heights. Also we needed two beds in each room as we are traveling with 6 people. We also requested that the rooms be a joining due to the fact that in room number 2 there is an 18 year old a 16 year old and a 15 year old. When we arrived at the hotel tonight Jun the 21st 2014 there was an assistant manager working at the front desk we check in and she starts telling us what we have and she tells us that we have a king size bed in each room my husband and I said no that is incorrect I showed her the phone where I called your employee to make special accommodations she then proceeds to tell us that there will be an upgrade charge of $17. I asked her to contact the hotel manager and she absolutely refused saying she will not contact you at 9:45 and wake you up for her tits for you to tell me the same thing.I calledpriceline.com and we did spend an extra $40 per room cancellation special requests changes everything like that and again that recording States if you need special accommodations contact the hotel directly and gave me your phone number once again. Because we arrived at 9:30 o'clock at night and are exhausted from a seven and a half hour drive we paid the extra $17 plus tax per room and we are staying at your hotel I think it is pretty sad that your employee did not make the correct notes on our account when I called him it is also pretty sad that your assistant manager would not wave $17.00 charges to make the customer happy. We will not be staying at this hotel again and I will give my opinion to corporate headquarters and Priceline. We have chosen to stay at your hotel through Tuesday night checking out Wednesday morning.

I have stayed at this Inn several times with my work and have trusted them with my employees. 3 weeks after i made this August reservstion I received a letter from the manager stating that a 3day reservation would now be needed for that weekend and I would need to sign the contract they'd sent and provide a $300 + dollar down payment toward the $500+ cost (for 3 days). Needless to say, I cancelled my reservation and ultimately our trip to the races. So. Thanks to your greed Bay-Not Inn, I will no longer be booking rooms with you for my workplace (100+rooms over the next year), Have a great day!

Me and my wife went to the baymont in grand prairie texas on highway 161 and it was atrocious from the bugs around the bed to the cockroaches in the room, the hard towels u could barely shower with. Not to mention the water wouldn't get hot and the staff was barely able to speak english and the ones that could were rude and not helpful. Needless to say im awaiting a response from corporate but am planning to never stay in a baymont ever again and will spread the word as far as i possibly can so nobody else has this problem like we did.
