  2. hi, my name is anthony o. i have a 2003 audi a4 1.8t that have a turn signal problem that causing many others like my self time and money to fix the problem, its a problem when signaling right turn the left indicator inside the vehicle would blink intermittently, which is very dangerous to all of our well being from an accident that you as maker could help us with, on audizine.com forum alot of others like my self are having this problem, i personally think for every one safety a recall would avoid risky situations on the road everyday while driving. I have seen even nissan dealership did a recall on 1996 nissan pathfinder for a strut tower where the weld rotted out, my 1997 pathfinder was one that repaired, so many years back nissan would go recall, your audi is 2003 help us all or just have mine taken care of at a dealership, which would sound mean. My email isnycap.rr.com please reply on this unsafe problem with my audi turn signal malfunctioning, thank you anthony

  3. Hello, My daughter took my wife's one year old Audi to change the oil including filter.( INVOICR NUMBER 174139 ) She is from Vietnam and has experiences with motor bikes. When she returned later that day Sept. 10, 2013 she was given a bill for $344.45. I am a 71 year old American vet born in America and have NEVER seen such an overcharge. I worked building cars and trucks for Another American car company for 35 years, I know cars inside and out. Trying to do things correctly I went to the Audi Dealer (INTERNATIONAL IMPORTS LLC AT 8021 159 TH STREET IN TINLEY PARK, IL 60477 ) AND SPOKE WITH A VERY PLESENT MAN BY THE NAME OF GUY THAT IS INCHARGE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I SAT IN HIS OFFICE AND TOLD HIM OF MY DELIMA IN DETAIL AND PERSENTED TO HIM COPIES OF PRICES AT OTHER REPAIR SHOPS AND TOLD HIM OF AMERICA'S PREMIRE CAR DEALEDS PRICES FOR THE SAME SERVICE HE PROVIDED FOR US. THEY ARE FROM 179 DOLLARS AND LOWER. FOR HIS PART HE DID LISTEN VERY GRATEFULLY BUT NOT MOVED OR CARING THAT WHAT TO ME IS A HUGE OVERCHARGING. HE DID TRY TO REASSURE ME THAT THE AUDI IS A MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE AND BETTER CAR THAN MY OTHER CARS. I QUESTIONED HIM IF THE AUDI IS THAT MUCH BETTER THAN MY CARS WHY DOES IT HAVE TO HAVE SUCH AN EXPENSIVE 15,000 MILES CHECK UP' IT IS STILL A NEW CAR AND A MUCH BETTER BUILT CAR SO IT SHOULD NOT NEED THAT EXPENSIVE OF A CHECK UP. MAKES SENCE TO ME. THIS STORE HAS A $30 DISCOUNT COUPON ON THE INTERNET SITE AND HE WOULD NOT OFFER THAT TO ME. MY BOTTOM LINE IS THAT DUE TO AUDI'S OVERCHARGING FOR THEIR COMPUTER CHECKING MY CAR AT 15,000 MILES IS JUST TO MAKE THEM MONEY. I TOLD MR GUY VERY NICLY THAT I WOULD NEVER BRING MY AUDI TO THEM FOR SERVICE AGAIN AND MOST LIKLY WILL NEVER SIT FOOT INTO AN AUDI DEALER AGAIN. MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT BUYING A FOREIGN CAR AND WE ARE DISAPOINTED. BUYERS BEWARE IS TO BE USED HERE. I WILL REPORT BACK.

  4. Hi, I need some help, actually alot of help. I have a 2002 Audi Quattro A6. I'm having alot of problems with my car. I can't even tell you how much money that I have put into my vehicle. I'm a single Mom and unfortunately money is a luxury that I don't have. I really don't know where to turn. I had it diagnostically tested. I brought it to a local garage and was charged $200 for then to tell me I need about $4000 in work. That's not happening. I just need to get what I really need fixed and that's it. The rest will have to wait. Here goes, the car has a mind of its own. The engine stops randomly while I'm driving. Its crazy, I was on a local busy highway and I had stopped in the left lane because there was some traffic. It decided to stop running. I couldn't get it to start. It was pretty scary, cars were flying up behind me. I had my Mom with me. She is wheelchair bound. The state police had to block the road so the tow truck could pick up my car. And get my Mom to a safe place on the side of the road. The car was towed to my house and it started as soon as it was dropped off the truck. It usually does this unpredictible stopping once a day. Its just random and I never know where its going to happen. Like I said money is pretty much non exsistant for me. I brought my Mom into my house to take care of her until she passes away.Which will probably be very soon. The stress of everything is so over whelming. She doesn't know me anymore. So between caring for her, my car and paying bills from one day to the next my stress level is off the charts. I use my pay from work for my mortgage, oil and the usual day to day necessities. Taking care of her was my choice, its an expensive choice. I just need to figure out whats going on with my car. I don't know what to do. I can't afford a new car. I can't afford much of anything. I just need a vehicle thats not a hazzard for me to drive. Sorry for my rambling!!! I'm sure that someone has had this happen to them. It also has a nasty smell that comes into the car. It smells like something is burning. I need a break. Its just not happening!! HELP!!! Thank You!!! Deanna My email is: Deannallavigne@aol.com

  5. I've had a LOT of issues with my 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro. In less that 90 days, this car has cost me almost $7,000 in repairs. SO MANY people are complaining about the SAME thing and I am right there with them. Instead of wasting my time with the details, I'm curious to know, Has anyone received any type of postive response back from Audi? I can bet NOT. Spread the word - DO NOT BUY and AUDI!!!!

  6. To: Whom it may concern,

I came into Audi Bedford in Ohio located at 19400 Rockside Road on Saturday, May 24, 2014 approx. 0800. I dropped my 2008 Audi A4 in for a complete inspection. When I returned the call, I was told that they notice that there was recall on the IMRC MOTOR CRIT CODE 8E and it would be ready in about 30 minutes. He also explained that it should have been done the last time that my car was there and the part must not have been available. I was never told this and I never received a notice indicating this recall.

After leaving the shop I noticed there was a burning smell. As soon as I stopped, the car started smoking very bad. I returned to the service area at Audi Bedford. When I pulled in the service area there was no one available. I yelled that my car was smoking and someone came out. A service Representative asked me to turn the engine off as I pulled the release for the hood, when the representative opened the hood; the flames were coming out of engine. The service man went to get water. Meanwhile I had to get my two dogs out of the car, because I was scared that the fire may not be controlled. He came back and poured the bucket of water in the car. After the fire was out we noticed that there was something on the manifold of the engine. Once object was removed out of the car it was identified as a work rag!

Another sale representative took the car back to the service area to get checked out. He brought the car back, and told me and he would order the parts and call me when they arrived. He never specified the issues or parts that were going to be repaired or/and replaced. I was very offended that he would suggest that I drive the vehicle after the fire. I was told that there were no cars available for me. Then when I expressed that I did not feel safe in the car. I was asked very rudely for my license and insurance. I was not giving any consideration of the situation and I also never received an apology.

  7. Hello. The tv commercial for Audi cars which is currently on is really strange. Why does the people in it look so sour and angry?why are they playing a soviet union like anthem at the end?

  9. I have a 2012 Q5 which was not available with Bluetooth capability for music. There is a cable in the glove compartment that connects an Ipod to the MMI, but its the old Apple configuration. i was told by my dealer to simply get an adapter so that I could play the music on my 5C phone thru the MMI. I bought an adapter and while it charges the phone (which is unnecessary since I have a car charger) it will not allow the music to transfer. i returned the adapter and was told thhis is an Audi problem, not an Apple problem. I was also told that everyone who returns the adapter owns an Audi. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Audi needs to get an adapter thaat works. My dealer says that Audi is aware of the problem, but is doing nothing.

  10. I have a 2008 a4 2.0 took it in for oil change a my regular place mechanic starts the process of checking for any codes while oil is draining and tell me I have p2293 code car must go to dealer immeadiatly and he stresses do not drive it there have it towed.arrange tow to dealer that I don not like dealing with due to terrible service but he was adamit about not even starting car.Get to dealership only to receive that I would need cam cam follower and high pressure fuel pump replaced at $ 2500!!!then after the shock sets in I find out there is an extended warranty for 2006-2007 models using same engine and design due to the exact issue I am have the cam follower fails taking out the cam and fuel pump sending all sorts of debris into motor.Dealer says there is an extendend warranty that is vin specific and my 2008 model isn't covered because it had a revised cam in it but it still failed in exact same manner .So I call Audi of America to see if my car can be repaired and they say it's up to dealer to fix as goodwill repair not up to audi . Dealer which I haven't taken car to in 2 years due to terrible service and being treated like second class citizen when you enter there offices says because of my lack of loyalty they will not fix in goodwill because I don't spend enough money there .Audi should be making this repair under extendend warranty because they know it's a problem with this part and the dealership should have it's license pulled What a terrible representative of what I had thought was one of the best brands of vehicles on the road looks like it will be my last dealings the four rings

Audi is the worst car to own with the worst service and customer service department. You take your car in for one thing and it ends up everything is wrong with your car. Every repair take six hours at 134 dollars a hour. No matter how small forget about an extended warranty because they pay so much for parts and labor. It ends up being 3 hours over each repair. They service guy tells you one thing when you drop the car off and it ends up being another price when you pick it up. Forget complaining to the service Manager he is rude and condescending. I have paid over 6000 dollars for a car that I owned only for a year. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A AUDI!!!!

  13. Just returned from Len Stoler Audi (Balt., MD) and I'm seeing RED! Audis now have a service message that displays when oil changes are needed. Although you can go anywhere for the service, Audi makes you return to them to TURN THE MESSAGE OFF. Because you don't use their higher priced service you have to pay they them $60 for the 5 minute procedure. Not only do I feel the price is excessive but I feel this is a ploy to tie you to Audi for your vehicle services. I've had the car a year, at this point with these tactics, I don't see me keeping it.

  14. last sunday i saw the audi r8 ,it had carbon fiber on the outside body, guessing 2014or 5 was impressed with the look, actually could't get it out of my mind. went to carabas after picking up dressup parts at Summit racing, had a good meal, and then my wife and i went home to settle in for the evening. At about 1am I awoke and the car was still on my mind so I went to the home computer and punched in audiR8 price and specifications. Well needlest to say I was impressed, very. I returned to bed and heres where it gets a little weird, I when i was opening my eyes the next mornig the ipone is playing a video of a motor show doing a 18min test drive in the vally of califonia in the s8 sedan, rave reviews once again, his only complaint was a bit of oversteer in the corners. so a few days later i call audi of bedford to test drive the a8 and the r8 i talked to a sales man buy the name of al royal, and he said give him a call friday and he would arange a drive in both cars, needlest to say he never called, now money is not an issue with me but sevice cerainly is, that would have been a $250.000.00 sale, but i wouldn't urinate on audi of bedfords door step now, and as for al royal well hes a royal asshole, keep driving TVR's the best automobile on the market and will remain the fastest, if you can afford on and service it yourself.peace out,K

  15. Unhappy in NJ.....I recently took my TT in for a 35k service. My Audi is garage kept with very low mileage, immaculate and in perfect condition. First of all, it was returned to me dirty. It was clean when I left my home. I had a few dead bugs on the front when I arrived due to the hour drive. I was told it had been washed but when I went to the car in the lot, it was just wet and the water had mixed with the dust. The windows were covered with water spots and the same bugs were stuck to the front of the car. Upon taking it home, I took off the cover to the air filter and discovered that not only was it not replaced but was full of seeds, inside the filter and also the compartment. I am appalled at how this dealership has been very dishonest. I have every reason to believe that the cabin filter was not changed or other service was done properly. I also discovered brake fluid puddled on the engine. Shame on you Princeton Audi, NJ. Audi customers have every right to expect excellent service. Apparently Princeton Audi does not feel that way.

  16. DO NOT PURCHASE AT AUDI BROOKLYN AS GENERAL MANAGER WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. THEY LIE AND STRONG ARM CUSTOMERS. MY SITUATION IS HARD TO BELIEVE BUT 100% TRUE. I purchased a used, mint, 2011 Audi Q7 online from Brooklyn Audi to be delivered in 2 weeks. 8 weeks later it shows after they kept telling me it would be any day now daily for 6 weeks. It comes off the truck total scratched up and with over 500 additional miles on it versus the odometer statement they filled out.. I asked the trucker what the protocol was since I did not want to accept it. I spoke to the GM at Brooklyn Audi right then and he said just have them put it back on the truck and refuse delivery.
It has no been over 3 weeks and every day stating they are working out the logistics with the truckers to get me my money back and it would be soon. At this point I am out around $36K + expenses and she, Janet Feliciano is actually treating me very rudely and unprofessionally and strong arming me still! I have had to put this in the hands of my attorney unfortunately.. this is such a bad experience. My wide owns a TT and working with Audi Boulder Co has been a pleasure. No rude treatement like you get from Audi Brookly, stay away!!!

  17. Last time I went to Audi Tyson corner for brake inspection. They told me u need tire change. I said I will do it later not this time. They made appointment on next week. I came on next week and have my Audi for tire inspection. I am talking with client while Jeff is bring one paper and need sign on it. I thought it was brake inspection. He didn't even say so. That evening I came to pick up Audi A4. They already change my tire. I don't want to pay for that I will pay only what I came for. They told me you had sign on paper to change brake. I told I was with my client through phone while Jeff brought paper. I sign on it. He didn't say anything before sign on it. I thought it was for brake inspection. I told them I need my tire back. They told me they will put tire back with $400. I disagree and want to pay only what I came for. They told me they will not release my car until I pay $1375 with new tire or $400 with old tire. I am Audi customer and they treate me like this. It's took 2 days to solve this problem. Mr Donald or David he is supervisor. He is so cruel. There is no customer satisfaction. They need to calculate how to make money. I am tire of see this situation. I will let my client how types of this service and it seem like worsen than Honda..

  19. WORST SERVICE EVER in SAN ANTONIO, TX. Not only did I make the MISTAKE of buying a new car from Cavender San Antonio, I am floored by the lies they told me when I purchased the extended 100,000 service mile warranty. Their service department is so INSUFFICIENT and RUDE!!!! For this reason, I encourage everyone NOT TO BUY AN AUDI. Lights appear in my vehicle all the time and yet the service department gives me a different reason every time I have to take my vehicle in. The Cavender Audi service department does not return calls and are so rude when you come into their service center. The saddest however is that the next closest Audi service center is In Austin therefore until I want to drive 68 miles opposed to 12 miles, I have to haul my vehicle that distance. I will never buy another Audi simply because f their rude customer service department at Cavender Audi San Antonio.

    1. BUY A LEXUS.
I have owned 7 of them and have never had a problem with reliability or service.
I previously owned several Mercedes, Cadillac's, and other GM cars, but never again.

  20. Cavender Audi San Antonio is THE WORST CAR BUYING COMPANY AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT ever. Run now and don't look back. If you want good service on your vehicle that you have spent thousands on, then seek out the other luxury lines at Lexus, BMW, Mercedes or Jaguar. At least you will get your monies worth and GREAT customer service and support. Cavender Audi has left me with a very sour taste. I will never buy another Audi unless they open another service center in San Antonio. Cavender Audi's service is the worst of it's kind. They have no idea how to treat a paying customer.
