I have contacted corporate about your employee Jeremy in food service. The entire time I was downstairs. Because he would make banging noises with dishes. Sliding chairs so they would screech. Jeremy didn’t want me in the lobby and made sure I was as uncomfortable as possible. When I finally told him about it after repeatedly ignoring him and moving away from his bias. It turned into a shouting match with equal energy on both sides. Jeremy escalated the situation by telling me he could stand where he wanted and do whatever he wanted. When I asked him to get away from me. That is the only reason it got to that level.

Aloft Worst Hotel Experience Ever

Rated 3.0 out of 5
November 11, 2022

Aloft Atlanta Downtown- I Booked a room at this hotel for November 10 and 11th, expecting to checkout on the 12th, but due to this situation I checked out on the 11th. I don’t know what time on the morning of the 11th, but my car was vandalized. My driver’s side back window was bust out, along with 2 other cars parked by mine and there was a police report paper on my back seat, where the window was smashed. The hotel never called the room to notify me of the incident. I had to pay a $32.00 a night parking fee to park at the hotel which states it’s private property. I spoke to the Manager Kris Tembo and asked her was the hotel going to cover the damages, she told me “No, it’s public parking”. I stated to her if it was public parking why did I have to pay $32.00 a night to park? I got no answer. She acted unconcerned and didn’t apologize or offer a free night stay, a refund, or anything, she just simply walked back to where she came from, meanwhile, I’m left paying for a broken window and getting my window tinted again. It’s sad that I was given such poor customer service. The front desk attendant was very apologetic and nice regarding the situation, and one of the maintenance guys put a garbage bag over the window & taped it since it was lightly raining, he also vacuumed the glass out of the seat and off the floor. This by far was the worst hotel experience ever.

I stayed at an ALoft property in Tallahassee Florida on Saturday May 6th. This was my first Aloft stay and I was pleasantly surprised at the European look and feel of the hotel. It was a pleasant experience until I checked out. The desk agent was not pleasant and needs additional customer service training. I failed to get her name; however, the young lady that serviced me had dark long hair and was a little overweight. She appeared to be annoyed when I asked for a printed receipt. I thanked her for the printed receipt and she said nothing in return. This really needs to be addressed.

aloft Overcharged Me

Rated 3.0 out of 5
May 1, 2023

I’m having trouble having the aloft Houston Downtown hotel to accurately refund the amount they overcharged me. I work for the Federal Government and my stay (April 24-28, 2023) was to be tax exempt (State of Texas). My room rate was $122 a night. I was charged an additional $86.64 in taxes. The charge of $574.64 and an additional $86.64 show on my credit card statement. The hotel insists the correct amount was credited and I was only charged $488 for my stay however, my credit card shows no credits being applied. The hotel was to create and email be a receipt for $488 for my employer; however, they have yet to provide that to me. Guest number 239956.
