– poor service, lousy food, and abysmal care of passengers – UA is not prepared for disasters. 36 hours in SFO followed by a “we care about you and we will get back to you in 8 weeks…maybe” WTF?? no organization or control of the crowd. Senior citizens and handicapped I dragged myself from counter to counter mostly ignored. rogue passengers, queue cutting, fights, and NOT ONE UA staff controlled it….never again…I will stick with my ASIAN carriers…..for their grace, excellent food, and amazing service….UA need to Go Home, and NO stars…since 1 is the only choice…. don’t deserve it….yes people on my flight MISSED their daughter’s WEDDING!! way to go UA!!

United Airlines Issue

United Airlines Demise! We are 5 minutes from our local airport that flies primarily United and 90 minutes from the next airport that flies other airlines. Due to your hiring goals, we will now make the longer drive. How do you justify hiring pilots based on not being the most qualified? What foolishness.

United does not care about loyal passengers!

Flying from Toronto Pearson Airport, your partner Air Canada on October 27, 2023, deliberately delayed the flight waiting for a food truck for almost an hour. I had my connecting flight UA 2266 at Houston International Airport with an overlay of 45 minutes to San Antonio, Texas. Air Canada flight crew knew we had a connecting flight with United Airlines. They even asked passengers to stay seated for the few of us with connecting flights could make the connection. The flight crew assured us that you had been informed we were coming in. As we arrived and ran to the connecting gate, your staff told us the flight had left. You could not wait knowingly a few minutes for a flight to San Antonio at 10:00 PM which lasted 36 minutes. This is your last flight of the night. My husband and I are older people. We had to sleep on a cold floor all night up to the next morning flight UA 1534. Both of us were bodily hurting, hungry, tired, dizzy and dismayed at the treatment with your company. The next morning, flight UA1534 I asked for an upgrade. You wanted to charge me $80. The plane was more than half empty and you wanted to charge me! Double whammy! I would like compensation for your mistreatment of loyal passengers. You could have waited; you knew we were coming in. That was the last flight of the night. How could you not wait a few minutes and make us go through misery all night long?

Attn. United Home Office - Credit was not applied to my trip

Rated 2.0 out of 5
November 30, 2023

I received a credit in 2022 which was supposed to be applied to a trip (someone in reservations completed this for me) I took in May 2023. However, when I received my statement, my credit was not there. The United CC customer service told me to call the airlines and request the credit be put on my credit card (where it should have been to start with) or to send me a check. I have been trying to resolve this issue since last summer.
