  2. I was given a $50.00 counterfeit bill at a branch in Palm Beach Gardens Fl. I did not discover this until I attenpted to spend it at a later date. I knew it came from this branch because my only source of money is when I write a check for cash which I do periodically. My pension goes directly into my account. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I tried to excange the bill, but the manager said no. They did not take the bill and send it to the government and fill out forms so I called the Federal Reserve who told me to call the local Secret Service and they advised me to go back to the bank and have them take the bill out of circulation and fill out the form. They bank manager said I was misinformed that it wasn't their responsiability. I was upset because I felt it should be reported and insisted they fill out the proper forms, which they did. I thought the bank manager was surly and didn't care that I was closing my account[checking and home equity] What I would like to know is:Did he give me correct information or was the Secret Service wrong. I can accept the fact I lost $50.00. BUT I WANTED THIS REPORTED!

  3. This is the worst bank of all time, and there is no way to tell them in order to help them. The only answer is they know, but there is no way anyone in high management uses the bank. If they did, they'd fire some of the top executives and all of the people involved with online

  4. i have made 2 deposits over the past 2 weeks. tonight i deposited $150 in cash and the PNC atm machine froze up and would not give me my money back, or a receipt sting what i deposited. after fooling with the atm for a half hour i had no choice but to drive off with no proof of my deposit. i had the same problem last week with 2 checks i deposited. they made me fill out a dispute, like i'm lying about my deposit or something. PNC is a bank, they're job is to safely receive my money or checks, and to document it. if they can't do that, they are not a bank, they are thieves. i am depositing money into their bank and they're denying that i did to my face? fucking thieves. do yourself a favor, find a bank that will safely cherish and collect your money as much as you do, because this bank isn't it.

  5. We have been a PNC customer for 9 years! In December 2014 we had fraudulent charges come through our checking account. We were instructed by our branch to put a 30 day hard hold on the account, no deposits or debits could occur on this account, so we did. In the mean time we opened up a new checking account with PNC and we have an existing savings account with them. Due to the fraudulent charges said account has been overdrawn, we are very well aware of it. One fraudulent charge was returned to us, the other one for $650 some how just disappeared from our account and PNC has no idea where it went. On January 17 my husband extended the hard hold for 30 more days so that we could figure out the remaining charges and get money together via out tax return to pay the negative balance so as to avoid that account being charged off and our names sent to Chexsystems. Well low and behold on Saturday (Feb.7) PNC wiped out my checking account and took $177 more out of my savings account to pay the negative balance on the fraudulent account!!! We have been fighting it all morning and they are basically saying it it their policy, and you have been misinformed and blah blah blah!!! I will fight this to the end!! This bank sucks and they are nothinh but crooks!!!!

  6. I also am very frustrated no furious with the service at PNC. Can't reach customer service ever, in any way shape or form. Called, was told wait time was greater than 10 minutes, emailed two days ago nothing, can only connect with chat when it pops up on its own and offers like assistance then. I have had fraudulent charges too. First I was told to put a stop payment so it would not happen again, I did the stop payment fee was charged ASAP could not pick a date closer than three dates for transaction so it came through anyway, then I was charged a overdraft fee. Having the problem again, took all but need money out hoping to resolve but nope. payment went through, overdrafted account and no one will respond. DONE!!!!!!!!! Filing with BBB, blasting on every site possible - RIP OFFS!!!! They must have something going on lots of fraud happening on there watch. Class action lawsuit????

  7. Pnc Loan underwriter's and Retail Escalation Department, 45014
    PNC consolidation loan refusal

PNC DOESN'T CARE AT ALL about CUSTOMER LOYALTY or good payment history, etc.!!!!...
We've been w/ PNC/ National City/ Provident for 50 YEARS and have a good payment history and an ave. credit score (would be high except for normal high credit card balances)… but PNC STILL wont approve us for ANY consolidation loan amount!!!!
ALL the underwriters care about is the 'numbers' of D:I and credit bal:Lmt ratios; and NOT AT ALL about CUSTOMER LOYALTY or good payment history!
We even have a good payment history with PNC's Mortgage Dept., and still PNC STILL wont approve us for ANY consolidation loan amount!!!!
The underwriter's reasons for declining consolidation loan made NO sense at all, - they weren't justified!!

After 50 YEARS of being w/ PNC/ National City/ Provident,… we're leaving and taking our business elsewhere to a credit union!!

Derick Schenk, some "Mgr" in Pnc Retail Escalation Department, gave us inaccurate information!
The Fairfield branch couldn't do anything to assist!
    It's time to leave PNC!!

  10. I am so furious with PNC bank, I have a home equity loan with them and I made 2 payments twice trying to catch the account up instead of catching the account up they applied them to principal which is not what they said they would do now they say I owe them 800.00 in order to not have them start legal action on me when in fact I am current on all payments this bank is horrible and I would not recommend them to anyone the customer service issues start at the top of the chain and trickle down the people in executive offices do not do their jobs either tell you they will call back the same day it has been 8 days and still no call. But let you not contact them back they are all over you. I worked with a man al davis and wow guess what the comment was on him " we don't have an al davis on our staff" well then who the heck was I talking to....Who sent me back a check off of PNC they are a bunch of idiots.

  11. I've been a PNC customer for over 30years I have 3 accounts with them, the other day I rec'd 3 separate letters stating my acct will be closed next month for no apparent reason, when I called to find out why they will not provide me with an answer only that PNC has the right to do business with whoever they want,REALLY,what kind of answer is that to someone that's been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I wouldn't feel so bad if I knew why? I don't bounce checks and I keep funds in my accounts I really feel like they're looking at the wrong account

  13. I have a my mortgage through PNC Mortgage , the first and a home equity line with PNC Bank, the second. In 2011, I was forced to file Chapter 13 because my tenants all stopped paying rent once I moved out of state. In the Chapter 13 agreement the house was given back to the bank as collateral for the debt. It is now 2016 and I have completely finished paying off the Chapter 13 and PNC still have not taken possession of the property. I was advised by my attorney that as long as the house remains in my name I may still negotiate a sale. During this entire time I have tried several attempts at the short sale process however, PNC Bank and PNC Mortgage will not cooperate with each other during the process which always lead to negative results. When you call them for assistance to help the process I am told they are two separate entities and I must complete and submit the same documents to for approval. The problem is the first, will approve the application and the second, will not or vice versa. Both entities will hold onto the documents until they claim the forms are out dated and request all new documents every three months prolonging the process. This experience has absolutely been a nightmare. I am trying to do the right thing by both the first and second lien holders however they are making a bad situation worst. They have not reclaimed possession of the property in 5 years during the Chapter 13 bankruptcy and they keep hindering the process of every short sale agreement brought forth. I just received a letter dated September 19, 2016, denying the short sale again requesting new documents plus additional documents that has never been request before. I feel this is just another attempt at prolonging this process. The bottom line here is PNC Bank and PNC Mortgage are the absolute worst. They can't get things right; they constantly change account representative which causes additional problems, the don't communicate with each other however, they fall under the same financial group umbrella.
