  1. Whether it's personal or a business trip, we have always ending up eating at Harrah's for your famous "Prime Rib, great selections, and friendly services" at the buffet. I have eaten many, many time at Harrah's buffet since I started traveling. On March 12, 2013, at around 8:15pm, My wife and I was eating at your Harrah's Flavor buffet, Las Vegas. My shocking and disappointment was overwhelm. As we were seated by our server, Adrian, he was very nice and courteous. After he greeted us with warm welcome and gotten our drinks, my wife and I went to grab our plates and went directly to the prime ribs. I greeted the gentleman behind the prime rib station and he didn't look at me. I assume he didn't hear me; so I repeated myself with another greeting and asking him if I can have a slice of prime rib and one for my wife also. He pick up the knife and started to carve, put it on our plates and left. I was very surprise of his service. As my wife and I walk down the buffet table, I notice the many food were old, as of looked dried; very dried. There were sauce all over the counter and dried out. I know the counter hasn't been wiped for quit sometime.

The first piece of the prime rib was as tough as a horse shoe. After finishing our first plate we went back for our a seconds, This time I saw them changing over to a new loaf of prime rib. As I got there, the server behind the counter had just left and was talking to two other co-workers in a form of a circle. They were loud and started to horseplay behind the counter, I then stood there for a few seconds to see if they notice me standing there at all; but they didn't. So I say, "excuse me, I like to get a slice of the rib please." They were so loud they didn't hear me. After the third time, one of them finally came over and carve me a slice (the second piece of the prime rib was as a tough as the first. Believe me, I know prime rib, I normally get six pieces before I stop).

As I was eating at the table, I told my wife this is the worst five star buffet I have ever eaten in. The people here are not friendly, the servers behind the food was too loose and playful in front of all the customers and had no regards of what customer needs or even know we were there. I told her I was going to get some ice cream and leave. As I went up to the dessert table, there were two employees talking and blocking the dessert table (one behind the counter and the other one was outside the counter). The dessert person saw me but just kept talking, I asked him if I can have a scoop of mango ice cream. The employee who was talking to the dessert person was actually sweeping the floor. He had the broom on his left hand and a dirty towel on his right. And with his right hand was leaning on the counter were my ice cream was going to be. And just before the two employees parted, they did a hi-five-potatoes over the dessert table before he scoop some ice cream.

Enough is enough, I thought I had seen everything. I went to the cashier at the entrance to asked for a "comment form." After filling out the form, giving the service an "F" and the quality of the food also an "F." I asked if I can speak to the manager. I forgot his name, but he was a tall African American gentleman whom I spoke to. And I told him besides our server Adrian, I was very disappointed regarding the rest of his food crew. He seem he knew about the situation and didn't care. No apology came out of his mouth nor at least ask me if there were anyway he or the staff could have done to improve my stay. I walk away slowly and see if he would call me back; but he didn't. If I was the buffet manager, I would have done anything to fix this problem before this going to "corporate" and to your "reviews." I believe he doesn't fit his position.

  2. I wish to find out if what my wife and I experienced at AK-Chin casino, here in Arizona, is the norm for all Harrah's Casinos. Yesterday, a group of us, all Knights of Columbus brothers, with their wives, significant others and guests, went by bus to the above casino. There were supposed to have been two buses furnished by Harrah's, but only one showed up. We were told we would have to wait nearly 90 minutes for another bus. Our tour guides said "oh, no, we won't", and put as many as possible on the one bus. The others rode with car owners, and followed the bus to the casino. When we arrived, we were greeted by the casino hostess, and told we would be getting our $10 bus fee back, plus a free buffet for the bus mixup. I'm giving you the latter info, so you will have a better understanding with the following: we were sent to Total Rewards, where those passengers who already had Harrah's cards received their free slot pay and buffet voucher. My wife had no card, so we stood in line with others who also needed cards. When we came to the front of the line and he asked to see my wife's photo ID, she gave him her driver's license. He noted it had expired in late 2012. So, she showed him her military ID (I am a retired Army vet), and it, too, had expired-in 2009. So, the agent would not give her a player's card, the free slot card or the buffet voucher. We told our tour guides, and they called and spoke to another casino person, who again refused their request to give my wife anything. So, she had made the trip and stood in line for nothing. She has rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, diabetes and is recovering from anal cancer. This was quite stressful and telling on her and me both. Now, I understand her IDs were expired. But there were recent photos on each one, and they matched they way she looks, so the only issue was the expired cards dates. Further, even though she was refused the player's card and free slot play, there's no way she should not have gotten the buffet voucher. That voucher had nothing to do with her IDs. It was given to all of us, as an apology from the casino for not sending the second bus. Due to this experience, my wife is furious and I'm not a happy camper either. Fortunately, we both have cards from the three other local casinos, and support them. Your expedient reply will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Douglas Walsh

I recently visited Harrah’s location NKC Missouri I haven’t been there for a while I went to the cashier cage with three open windows and no one in line being it was 11:30 in the morning. I had a diamond card and walked up to that window to write my check. To my surprise the cashier rudely informed me in a hateful tone “YOU ARE NO LONGER A DIAMOND PLAYER YOU NEED TO GO TO ANOTHER WINDOW AND I AM KEEPING YOUR CARD” dismissing me like I was the scum of the earth. She took my card like I had stolen it, I earned that card by playing at your casino. However I have no desire to return to re-establish my diamond ranking. I have never been so badly treated by an employee at your business, later to find out this was the supervisor of the window. I have been a diamond player for over ten years until lately. Just knowing how quests are treated if they are NOT a seven stars or diamond player makes me aware that this is not the casino I will be returning to. You are not the only casino in town and I will be sharing my experience with as many as I can including social media. I will be playing at the casinos that treat all customers as valued quests.

  5. I understand that the Flamingo in Las Vegas is a part of your organization. I would be ASHAMED!!! I have traveled over the USA and stayed in 4 Star to Mom and Pop hotels/motels and have never even seen anything as close to filthy as the Flamingo is in Las Vegas.....The carpets in the hallways are ragged and ripped, the elevators are filthy, the slot machines are dirty and sticky, the bathrooms in the rooms are old and the sinks stop up and on and on. My three day stay cost me over $400.00 and it was a terrible mistake on me and my family to choose to stay in such a pit!! Never again and I and my family will tell everyone we know to never stay in any of your hotels...When you find used false eyelashes in your bed from a previous guest, it's rather sickening to say the least.....

  6. Let me tell you a little about Harrah's Cherokee hotel!!!!! We stayed at their hotel 8/3/14 - 8/6/14, but we left on the 5th, due to their horrible hospitality and cleanliness!!!! The hotel told us our room would be ready by 4pm, we didn't arrive until 5pm, and our room was still not ready, they told us to come back in a hour...so we mentioned to them to comp us the wifi for our room stay for the delay, and they said "oh we can't do that", so my grandma went to the office to pay for our wifi, and they told her that it would be for 24 hrs of usage of the wifi, we had to pay $11 per device, come to find out $11 was for 24 straight ours whether you use it or not!!!!!! Then my grandma and my 8 year old son got stuck on an elevator, so they called dispatch, and dispatch could not get hold of anyone at the hotel to help them, BECAUSE THEY WERE IN SHIFT CHANGE!!!!!! They was in that elevator for an hour waiting on help, they thought noone was coming so they started banging on the elevator door and yelling for help, because it was getting extremely hot in there, and a hotel employee, told them very rudely that they needed to calm down that someone would be with them in a minute!!!! When they finally got them out the only thing they offered them for their suffering was a $50 gift card to use in the hotel!!!!! I said are you out of your minds, but they would not budge off of that so we checked out early, and I am going to continue to post this on every site possible, so everyone knows how sorry this hotel is!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Bridgett

    2. My daughter had coupon for one night comp room at harrahs good for the one in Cherokee or Murphy NC.. Only to be told that they were "out of complimentary rooms in Murphy. So they called the one in Cherokee and were told that they were out too. But they offered a " special rate room for $49.00 and my daughter asked what was the difference in the special rate room compared to the comp room and they said.."no difference, its the same rooms used for comp".. So I wonder why they said they were out??? Why send out vouchers saying one thing when you don't honor the voucher?? Bad for business, dishonest and false advertising!! So after traveling two hrs. My daughter had to turn around and leave. She could have paid $49.00 for a room butt why' when you have a valid voucher that they won't honor???

  7. I have been going to harrahs in metropolis ill. for several years and what I would like to know is why they send me very little comps. my sister only goes maybe every 3 months or so and they send her all kinds of comps. they even cut my free buffets from 2 to 1 and I go 2 or 3 times a month. This only makes me mad and makes me not to want to go anymore. I have tried to talk to the people at metropolis and haven't been able to get an answer

  8. we stayed for 8 days. My friends made reservations. Put my name but did not add my husbands name. We did not think about adding him. So on thanksgiving day my husband got locked out of the room because his key would not work. He went down to front desk to get new key and the girl at the front office called security and the physically escorted my husband out of the casino. They told him he was not a registered guest. He had been drinking and valet give him the keys to our car. I told the security manager that if he kills someone harrahs casino is responsible. I have called our companies attorney and plan on a lawsuit. This hotel is the worst.

  9. by my choice i have been going to Harrahs for over 20+ years. First Atlantic city and now Harrahs Philadelphia. However, even though i still consider Harrahs to be a clean and safe casino where the employees are very friendly there, their rewards program suck. it use to be good where it got you to go back, but my play hasn't changed in fact i play more and they cut my comps almost 50%--------they stiink. so i sent them an email and all i got was a scripted letter and sorry you are disappointed. well, since there are 2 more casinos in philly and one opening up 5 minutes from me-----me and all my friends will certainly change where our money means something.

  10. I was insulted and humiliated by the welcoming concierge at Harrah's Casino in New Orleans. The concierge was not friendly and welcoming. She was hostile and abrasive. She spoke in a haughty tone to a member of my party. I became defensive and talked back to her. She called supervisor Kirk Cohen-Mayo. Mr. Cohen Mayo did not ask me my point of view or conduct an investigation. Mr. Cohen Mayo went by what the insulting concierge told him and did not allow me into the casino. Because I was with a big group, I found myself appeasing the concierge and Mr. Mayo and telling them, "look, we're here to spend our money, we apologize for the misunderstanding." Mr. Mayo's response was that the decision had already been made. At no time did he try to mediate or investigate the matter. The employee even called me a drunk. She said this loudly for other guests to hear it. The interesting part of this is that I had not had a single drink that day. However, I did wonder how an employee in an establishment that provides free drinks has the audacity to call anyone a drunk. Feel free to check casino cameras to review this so called "drunkenness". At any rate, I think it's completely inappropriate for an employee who is greeting guests to wave her shoulders and smack her teeth the a customer. At the end of the day, the customer is always right and employees should be trained to have courtesy and tact. I did talk back to the employee, and it was well deserved. She does not have the right to treat people entering the organization like trash. She is downright rude and should not be employed as a person who receives guests.

  11. My husband and I recently visited Harrah's Cherokee. While all the employees are friendly and competent, we would like to mention two who went out of their way to assist us. Lynne in reservations was wonderful at helping me with my revised reservation when weather caused us to have to make changes. Jewel, at the hotel front desk was equally helpful when we added an additional night to our stay. Both ladies were professional, helpful, courteous, friendly and competent. They knew their jobs very well, took pride in their jobs and put the customer first. Karen and Keith Mitchell

  12. I was Robbed at Harrahs Hotel in Las Vegas. Due to the hotels negliance of a fualtly lock, that the housekeeper wrote a written statement saying she notified her supervisor many times. I called Risk Management no help and no answer. I even contacted Corporate no help no answer. Is this how customer service should be after I chose to stay at Harrahs. I could have tried my luck at the Days Inn if I was going to recieve this type of treatment. Harrahs does not care about customer service, your belongings, your or your safety !!!!!
