  2. I hope you were able to get some satisfaction. I also had Clark's shoes fall apart and sent a complaint via email several months ago but to date have not had any kind of acknowledgement or reply. In the past Clark's was reliable, but now I have serious doubts about quality and/or customer satisfaction and WILL NOT PURCHASE any Clark's shoes again until I hear from them, Till then, I will only purchase other name brands that I have had no trouble with. Very disappointing. I will try once more, but if still no reply, will take further steps.

    I have bought clarks for years. The last 4 pair of shoes that I have bought and have wore no more than 5 times. They have fallen apart for the side of the shoe where the stetching is to the sole. I have had several that I have woren for several seasons and have not had a problem. I would like to have some compensation for the 4 pairs of shoes. I have bought enough of your shoes and have been happy. But now I'm not sure that I will continue to buy if they are going to fall apart only earing them 3-4 times..

  4. I have just had my 4th pair of Clark Shoes fall apart as I was wearing them. My shoes are far from new, but I am not hard on the shoes. I enjoy wearing Clark's because of the versatility and the fit. I have a narrow heel and the open heel works very well for me. I am extremely disappointed that these shoes have either fallen apart or the rubber sole has disintegrated. Not sure I will buy any more.

  5. chazz@netzero.com...I also have a pair of Clarks that fell apart while I was shopping. I had to borrow some scotch tape from the store I was in to keep the shoe on my foot. I fell in love with Clarks shoes when I bought my first pair and bought three more pair. I always thought Clarks shoes were top of the line. Now I'm not sure. I feel this pair of shoes should be replaced. If not I will assume your are not the fine company I thought you were. I will not buy any others. Please reply.

  6. I used to love Clark's Shoes and have purchased many pairs over the years. Never again. I just had TWO pairs COMPLETELY fall apart after wearing them for only a few hours. The top part of shoe completely came off sole. The even worse thing is their customer service. I keep calling their 800 number and am just on hold forever, no one ever answers. I call during the day and have tried different days. I am never purchasing Clarks again. Here is what their new motto should be: "Clarks are Crap". I have two additional pairs, brand new, that I am actually afraid to wear. It is NOT fun to be somewhere and have your shoes completely fall apart.

  7. I used to love the Clark company shoes for years now but since I had to two pair of shoes fall apart on me while walking in them. I have unfortunately changed my mind about your shoes and have decided that I'm not going buy anymore until I know what's going on with my shoes falling apart

  8. I had seven pairs of clarks and six of them with rubber sole has disintegrated while wearing them. I know that if I wear the last pair; it will disintegrate as well. It is embarrassing to be at a professional event and have chunks of your shoe littering the facility. Publicly humiliated I explain that these are Clark's brand. This is a marketing tool for Clark's reputation as a quality product. Let's spread the word about how the product negatively speaks for itself. Ouch....to unexpectedly-physically walk out of your shoes when you are out of town on business. Seriously, corporate MUST know about their decision to downgrade quality to increase profits would adversely impact customer satisfaction. Glad not to be a stock holder in the corporation.

  9. I see by the previous messages that my chances of receiving resolution from you regarding a defective pair of Clarks shoes will not be met with any concern for customer fair treatment.
    Nevertheless, I will tell you that I purchased the shoes through Michelson's Shoes on Amazon. The responses I have received from Michelson's have been confused and misinterpreted, I believe intentionally. This particular shoe could not be worn by anyone, The strap was sewn in such a way that my foot was forced forward a 1/2 inch from the rear of the shoe with the result being such that my toes hung 1/2 inch beyond the footbed in front. Michelson's have returned the cost of the shoe in fairness to them. I think I should be compensated for the return postage of $14.55 since the return was caused by no fault of mine. I would appreciate a reply.

  10. I also just had a pair of Clark's clogs fall apart as I was wearing them. I had put them on to wear to a special occasion and after a few minutes all of a sudden they felt loose. I thought "oh well you are used to wearing sneakers, they just feel loose". I looked down and both of my feel slid out of the clogs. Upon examination found each clog just came apart where attached to the sole of the clog. Very dissapointed!
