  3. They are not to be trusted. go anywhere but this company. If they are a last result, you are out of luck. I will never deal with them again, and will always tell others to "Run the other direction". They won't help with problems, they'll make it worse.
GMAC was better. This company stinks.

  4. Terrible company. They owe me a refund of close to $6,000.00 and have still NOT been able to get the "authorization" needed in order to pay me back. This has been going on for over 60 days and it's terrible that they don't take my needs into consideration. I will NEVER do business with them again.

  5. WORST company I have ever had the dismay of working with. You call their "customer service" line and get to deal with a bunch that barely speak a word of English. You try calling their corporate line and are forwarded BACK to their customer service line. What a waste...NEVER AGAIN ALLY!!!!

  6. I requested a call back from a Supervisor when I could only get an Assistant Supervisor. The Supervisor assigned the call to be returned by another Assistant Supervisor. When I asked for the Supervisor, I was told repeatedly that the Supervisor is unavailable and I got the impression that the Supervisor would never be available.... I will be writing a letter to the CEO and filing a complaint with BBB.

  8. By far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 52 years on earth!! Almost an "act of congress" just to get ALLY to even RESPOND to a request for original title to register a vehicle. Called at least "20" times in a two week period, only to have to give the same details over and over and each person at Ally gave a different answer. The request was for my father who has been an Ally customer for the last 3 years; and during that time has ALWAYS paid his bill on time!! What should have taken no more than a week has now taken 3 and a half weeks AND STILL "NO TITLE TO SPEAK OFF." I guess this is what you get for being a loyal paying customer!!! I will definitely be filing a complaint to the BBB. At the end of the calls they actually have the nerve to ask if you want to take a survey. By the end of the calls who even has the energy to participate!!

  9. Very unprofessional. This is the first time that I've had to call Ally in about 4 years regarding $60 they said I owed regarding my auto payment. When I called and spoke to 'Carla', I couldn't get a direct answer to my questions. She was playing word games and became belligerent, I thought I was speaking with a teenager! I hope the calls are truly monitored because I will never do business with Ally Financial again. Thanks to those reps they have answering the calls in whatever foreign call center now. The audacity, we ship them America's jobs and they're trained to be nasty and arrogant.

  12. Worst help I have ever had. I am with another bank, trying to get a physical address to send a payoff SO THEY GET THEIR MONEY AND THE CUSTOMER DOESNT GET CHARGED $5 A DAY IN PER DIEM...all I needed was a physical address, and this lady knew my request....UPS will not send to a PO Box. 7x I told this lady I need a physical and CANNOT send to a PO Box...her response every single time was that she understands my request and has that info, to which she replies with a PO Box...over and over and over and over. Never have I dealt with such ignorance in the financial world. Terrible service, uneducated employees, and very glad my customer is free of this joke of an institution.

  13. Do not use Ally Bank or any unit of this group for any transactions. Do not provide any Bank Information to Ally Bank for any type of Auto Direct Pulls from your bank to theirs or you will still be having money being pulled from your account even though your car Is Paid In Full. Long story short: DO NOT USE ALLY for any Business Transactions that would allow them access to your Bank. Your Bank will Also not help you I this Matter due to you Allowing them and signed for Auto Debit for Payment.

  14. I would like to share my situation currently with Ally Bank. On 02-29-2016 My balance had been paid in full and my commitment with Ally Bank and account should have been closed on this date. Note I had a signed up for the auto debit from the Bank to Ally Bank: Terrible mistake DO NOT EVER DO THIS and here is why. On 3-16-2016 Ally Bank continued to take money from our account ever though the car had been paid in full and has shown a balance of $0.00. I called Ally at once and spoke with Ivan: Employee #663ICA and after speaking with his boss and said this should not have happen and would send a refund check in 5 to 7 days, THIS WAS A COMPLETE LIE. How do I know this ? I called back on 3-26-2016 and then spoke to Camille: Employee #663CCT I believe, her English was hard to understand and then Camille looked up the Information and tells me you are right, But no action had been taken on the date 3-16-2016. I then ask for her Boss, But her boss Mike is to busy to Talk and they then tell me a check refund would now been sent 4-01-2016. Ally Bank has Stolen Money from our account and we are still waiting to get our Money as of 3-28-2016. Look up the word Stolen: To take from someone or place that is not rightfully yours; To Steal and it goes on and on. I cannot stress enough to anyone who may read this post. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY AUTO DEBIT with Ally Bank. Please note Your Bank will not help you in this matter either due to You signing an agreement with Ally Bank to do so. Just DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Ally Bank.

  15. March 30, 2016 Called Ally Financial concerning another payment has been pulled for our account this morning so I call the Costumer Service Number, They answer and I explain the situation and I am told we cannot help... We are Ally Bank and you need to contact Ally Financial. So the Circus continues and then I call the Fraud Number and they take my Information and tell me they would pass this on the Ally Financial. I finally get contacted from a Ally Financial Rep. and Explains to me I would need to contact Smart Note who the Auto Payment is really been set up with. I call Smart Note and the Rep there tells me that Ally Financial Never contacted them to inform them the car had been Paid in Full on 2-29-2016. So the Story just keeps going and going. We are Schedule to have this resolved on 3-31-2016 by a conference call with Smart Note and our Bank, I am not holding my breath or giving much hope to this, But I am determine to get our Money one day. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALLY FINANCIAL: THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SITUATION. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY AUTO DRAW TRANSACTION WITH SMART NOTE: THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SITUATION. These 2 Business do not have any Merit or have any Idea of It's Meaning.

  16. I had an account with ALLY, co-signer my ex-wife. She received the car in the divorce and stop making the payments. I told them I would help find the car for repo and did in exchange for them not to mess my credit up. I even agreed to pay for the car once the got it back. they agreed. still fighting them. A year and a half later!

  18. ALLY BANK "NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT." . THERE IS NO ACCESS TO A LIVE PERSON IN THE UNITED STATES... IT'S AMAZING HOW THIS SO CALLED COMPANY STAYS IN BUSINESS; OTHER THAN THEY ADVERTISE GREAT RATE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO BRANCHES. IN REALITY THEIR GREAT SAVING RATES ARE LESS THAN ONE PERCENT. THE US GOVERMENT NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN THEIR DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. IF YOU HAVE ANY SAVINGS OR OTHER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY PROCEED AT YOUR OWN PERIL. THEIR ADVERTISING IS DECEPTIVE , THERE IS A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT DISCOURAGES SERVICE... WHAT A SHAM!!!!!!
