    5. I am also from Sharonville, Ohio Value Place. Sonia is the most non compliant manager. Two weeks ago, when I call for a service for maintenance. I state "My toilet is running, I need someone to fix it" She says, sounds like you need a plunger and come and get it. I said..no, you are not listening, my toilet is running NOT stopped up. Seemed like she didn't want to help me and only do what she wanted. She just said with a rude reply, "Ok, I will have maintenance come up." Just today, I had another request about my fridge. I told her it wasn't keeping my food cold. She said it is probably frozen. I said, how can it be frozen when my food is warm. She finally said ok, I will send maintenance. It was like pulling teeth to get her to help. WHY?

      Also, they have no sense of time. They don't care about the clients. They give their guests LESS than 24 hours to move their items. I was asked last month to move to another room. They were updating the rooms. They coulnt give me more than 24 hours to get my stuff packed up? NO, they gave me Less than 24 hours to move all my earthly items. ALL night on a work night. What?? Disorganized and not at all with any customer service. They said that they had no choice. Bull...other guests had more time. I am sure they did the same to other guests also. From the comment above, about her, I am not the only one that thinks this. We may be looking for another place to go.

    6. Pensacola,fl. is the filthiest place ive ever stayed and I have ben here a long time paying $800. a month. the hallways, commen areas, and laundryroom are so dirty I have to go to a laundry mat to do my clothes. what a shithole.

    7. On arrival we took pictures of the room and on departure we had the front desk clerk come check the room as well as took pictures. She stated that there were hangers and a clothes basket when we checked in and there WAS NOT! they are wanting to charge us for them, so we told her we would go buy some and bring them back....the answer... we will need to charge you for a late check out. REALLY? what a rip off!!! DO NOT STAY HERE

  2. I know what you're saying. My stay there was rather nice, quiet and comfortable (with the exception the internet went down the day before Thanksgiving and didn't come back up until three days later) but they are "money hungry" as you say. I paid a special price of $600.00 for a month but they charged me boo koo in "taxes" for a total of almost $200.00 in so-called taxes, for a total of $800.00 (not including my deposit of $100). Then they TRIED to charge me for linen services that I didn't ask for or request and when I called them out on it, they deducted it from my monthly bill but I still paid taxes on those services that I didn't ask for. Other than that, I really don't have any other complaints about them.

  4. Staying right now. Horrible experience toilet is plugged and over flowing. Went to the store and come back to it doing this. I called the emergency no help except a plunger. Big nasty mess on the floor. The response i get is to wait till the morning when maintenance arrives and manager. There are 3 people in our room with no toilet to go in. I asked what we do for bathroom. Wait till 9am. Son has school in the morning And me a interview. Plus also our tv is dying. No color and picture dying. There solution. No replacement they don't have any. For $210 a week u think we get better service. UNHappy!!!!!! Will never recommend.

  5. The price went from $219.99 to $239.99 in less than 2 weeks after staying at this place for 3 months. Apparently the rate goes up by $10 for everyone except those on the 1st floor who pay a $20 increase. This is ridiculous. Went I initially moved in the rate was $209.99.

  6. you think thats bad, try workin at the value place in texas they take your hours the manager treats you real bad, they have there familys stay for free while they charge other companies for rooms there families stayed in our manager never lifts a finger to help, makes everyone do her work. she likes to discriminate on people just because the way they look, and has affairs with the customers in the hotel, ive called human resourses left my info didn't get a response so now im going to the better biuisness beureu

  7. Stayed at the one in Akron Ohio. Manager was an asshole and treated his staff like shit. Works them to death andt about how lazy they are to residents. I've heard him threaten them if they go over his head. EXACT WORDS FROM HIM "ITS MY HOTEL AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU IF YOU GO TO DAVID". These poor girls work 50-60 hours a week. The safety attendant is always working. The poor Safety Attenant works from 6PM until 8am Mon-Fri and 6pm to 8am on Mondays. It's like this company owns them. I've stayed at many hotels in my life and have never heard of having to answer phones all night and not get paid. I will never stay at another value place.

I am working for them now,and this has to be adressed sooner or later,it's ash me that they have you work like a Dog all week,putting up with fights,fire,emergencies of all kind, they keep locking them selves out,and its all the time,if I had a life I would have moved on, but this place has took all hope of becoming a man,I'll be 32 hrs old soon and I half to tell ya,I would not wish working here on my worst enemy ,it sux here,as a Latino I know I've been discrimination against so many times, the mgr does not work 7 days a week like I do,the pay is like slavery,they Own u,it's not fair,God knows I prey each day I can find another job and move on,don't stay here maybe the OWNER needs to be on undercover Boss,let him experience the real crap we put up with...very very very bad place to work..GC

  8. Maybe someone can explain to me how a monthly rate only encompasses 28 days. It has always been my understanding that if I pay a monthly rate on the 25th of one month, I would not be due again until the 28th of the next month.

  9. The worst place ever. I had made reservations for a room with a bed and sofa bed because it was me and my 2 children (ages 2 yrs and 6 months). When I checked in I was not put in the correct room but put on the 4th floor (which is smoking and I have asthma) and there was no sofa bed due to it being all they had left. I managed for a week, when it was time for me to pay for the upcoming week I was told by a housekeeper that a room with a sofa bed was now available but when I asked the front desk clerk if it was possible for us to move she told me no because I was in a smoking room. Even after I told her that I do not smoke and that I was put in a smoking room because that was the only thing available she still refused to move me and my children. I was also told that housekeeping would come clean the rooms once a week but have not received anything and the one time I did the housekeeper told me to vacuum my own room because he didn't feel like doing it. They are very rude and unprofessional here.

  10. Your customer service sucks I'm not supposed to be taxed after 30 days but they are still charging tax for missing one day. Like today I missed a day or so and I let them know I was going to late until I got extra money from my family I got told by the supervisor if I didn't come up with some kind of payment today and when I got out of class I would find my stuff in box waiting for me when I got here not everybody can pull money out the air you know plus the supervisor also was saying he won't t get his bouns for people staying here l don't like it when he let's everybody know my business when it comes to pay. I tell them when I' m going to pay the the next Tuesday they say that's fine. But kike today was the worse day of my life after this week here I going to find another place not here.   11. Worse experience and I haven't even stayed there yet. They charged me for a weekend rate even though I had 3 days to cancel my reservation which I did in time. But the day before my last day to cancel they charged me because they didn't have my phone number and wanted to get my attention. I already had that money allocated for other bills and now I am $180 in bounced check and return fees because they didn't have my phone number. Why wouldn't they wait until Friday when I may or may not have shown up? And I can't get a hold of anyone.

    Not looking forward to my stay there this weekend. And now reading all the comments, I am screwed. Good thing I have lawyer friends.

  16. This is the worst place to stay ever!!! . The staff at the VP in Johnson City, TN needs some major staff training. Very unprofessional and extremely rude!!!! They will let hookers have "guests" in their rooms but won't give a paying customer a key to their own room they share with their spouse!!! This place is a joke and a waste of good money for four months!!! Would not rec.this hell hole to anyone!!!

  20. I was quoted a $600 a month fee by Jason in Columbus Ga. I paid $185 to move in and he said I could pay ever week to add up to my $600. I paid ever week which added up to over $600 and was still told I had a $364 fee on my account for late fees and taxes. Bullshit. Please please pleas if you can help it. DONT EVEN MOVE IN THERE. The day I move out he quoted a guy from north Carolina a price and when he arrived it was a totally different price
    he gather his stuff and walked right back out the door

  22. Value place in bessemer, alabama is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were hardly ever any towels when I needed them. No tissue this is a hotel for Christ s sakes. The manager was very rude. I had complained several times about the on call attendant refusing service several times and nothing was done about it. My room never got cleaned when it was suppose to...very dissatisfied customer. Will not be going back!! A lot of us from us steel will not be going back up there. Crystal promised us good rates and great service over the phone and did not follow through with it.

  23. Value place in ST.Charles mo is nasty. The manager works these workers to death whike she sits on her butt and laughs about it. I use to live there and i watched a lady work 14hrs in a row and she was told if u dont get your rooms done you cant leave. I cant believe no one has turned them in for this crap

    Stayed at the one in Mentor, Ohio and the place was always clean, the staff was very nice BUT from the moment we checked in I didn't want to even deal with Adrian. She is very rude, very inconsiderate, and really works on your patience. She has no professional training at all!!!!!!! She is really the rotten apple that is spoiling the whole bunch. Her disrespectful attitude could easily get her in a world of trouble if she talks to the wrong person the way she has talked to me. She's really a person you wouldn't want to represent your business. Her attitude stinks and her personal hygiene is pathetic. Her hair is full of dandruff and being pregnant I almost puked looking at the top of her head while I was checking in. I really hate to write such mean things about a person but she is the kind that brings the worst out of anyone. I even heard another lady who works there talk about how she needs to learn how to do her job the first day I came in to inquire about rates. I instantly knew who she was referring to once I encountered Adrian later that day.

  26. The Value Place in Waco Tx is a nice place to stay if they got rid of the days front desk clerk (shelly) and the house keeper (Gaby)! They are so unprofessional and nasty!! They use the N-word like its ok and so disrespectful to guest. They dont even dress like they are coming to work, they always look like they just got out of bed. If Value Place want to keep there business going, they need to clean house starting with those two before someone whips their asses or get sued!!!

  27. The Holland Mi. Value Place was the worst places ever stayed. motel manager knocks on doors if no one answers she lets her self in. Cleaning crew talks trash about guests to other guests. Problem with noisy people complained to management nothing done about it. Was sexually assaulted in the elevator. told management about it they said there is no cameras in the elevator. But yet there is one on the first floor right by the elevator. Only response I got is if it happens again will call the police for me. Other incidences have have happened in the parking lot with peoples cars. when management was confronted they said the cameras weren't working. In one weekend Friday had the county police at the motel 6 times arresting people that have warrants for there arrest. Saturday had a drug overdose and numerous incidences with the police had to come in. Sunday was about the same as Friday.

    Manager is by far the laziest person I've ever met. When I asked to speak to her I was told she usually doesnt get in until almost lunch time and when I went to go speak with her she was already gone again. And didnt come back for hours. This was not the only occasion this happened. Now that was just my own personal issue with her, I have seen her many times go into a room with guests.. and never the same one. First that's disgusting and as a manager myself, I'm pretty sure that's against policy. I find her always flirting with guests in the front, I've had to wait several times for her to "wrap it up.". She's rude, lazy, treats the other employees with no respect... And that's just what I've seen just being a guest. I can't imagine how she truly is. I think corporate needs to do something about her ASAP.

  29. Value Place. Are you reading your posts? There is a lot of negative things that need to be addressed about Customer Service with your employees, and also about the staff work experience. I only saw one good response, but, along with that good response, the comment was added with a negative. On this page alone, it is going back to April 2013. At our hotel in Sharonville, OH it is bad also. Is there anything being done to rectify? Please read these. Our hotel is clean, but it is hard to deal with the manager Sonia and night clerk, Mia. Ashley is the only kind one that knows how to deal with issues in a manner that is professional. A+ to her. Please help. This is your business. I hope you care.....

  30. The management in round rock, Tx have very bad attitudes. When you make a complaint about poor service or illegal activity, they get mad at you and speak sarcastically like they are taking it personal. If I say "the toilet won't flush" they say maybe you didn't pull the handle down right etc. what ever goes wrong it's something we did. I don't care to go back n forth w/ her just want it fixed. Poor customer service. If there is a small stain on sheets or towels house keeping refuses to take it. Saying they will charge us for it and that it is very expensive, they only come every other week. If management takes are properly trained in customer service this place would improve some

  31. Wow! I know exactly what you all are saying about them. My experience with them is happening now. Rude, unprofessional, sneaky and most of all Untruthful staff. Lebanon TN. Manager needs a little shout out from Mediallia if Corporate can't do anything or investigate. Which Corporate has been called I know, from speaking with another guest here. We didn't get to check in on time and had to wait for another hour in a half. Little girl behind the deal was very rude from the get go. We came up the elevator and the halls were filled with smoke. Went back down to let manager know when the first room comes available we would like to move. Hasn't happened yet and its week 3 now?? Found out a room had been cleaned for us and we weren't told by office staff. Went down to fund out about the situation and the little girl lied to us. Come to find out manager is protecting her. Makes you wonder what's hanging over his head? We have been advised to contact Medillia and have they weren't happy at all! Hey, if his job is worth losing over some rude, untruthful staff then that's on him. Your running a business and customers comes first and they are always right! I know of two more people that aren't happy with this hotel and maybe something will be done because like staff has said, they don't see how they still have their job after all the complaints to corporate.

  32. Yes! This one in Lebanon, the staff will say one thing and turn around and do another and say they didn't say that. Been waiting for a while for another room and everytime they are full. They give new guest rooms without taking care of the guest that have been here waiting for another room. The halls are filled with smoke. The lady in the office is rude and always is. Staff will tell you that they don't know what they are soing down there and turn around and say they didn't say that. This value place here is very unprofessional and I agree that corporate should if not already has should be.

    should be fired, she is costing the hotel and ruining the stay of guests who would be repeat customers. Due to her negligence ,deceitful and unprofessional behavior and inability to perform her duties, I have found the website below.

    I found this upon having slow internet speeds and noticing a network problem because of the open non encrypted network.After having a problem with the noise levels in this hotel, I contacted the Staff more than five times on different occasions to address the noise issue ,the next day I notify the Staff that the problem had not been remedied and that the noise had continued to be an issue. The Employee ordered me(A U.S.Army Combat veteran) "go back to your room,we can't have this in the lobby" I laughed at her and said dryly "I'll go back to my room after you resolve the noise issue, I can't go to my room this situation is pissing me off too much" She then states "I'll call the police if you don't go back to your room. I say "You know what, call them,I should probably talk to them myself ,this is ridiculous."

    The way I see this is
    She called the police on not only a guest but a Veteran that fought for her freedom because I wouldn't allow her to handle me and she couldn't resolve a simple noise complaint.
    After a short conversation with the local police, which took one look at me and knew she was out of line,
    Seems to me that the Hotel policy is to tell the guests what they want to hear without any resolve for complaints.
    This is a very low class Hotel, calling the police on decent guests for registering a complaint, I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
    I will also be getting in contact with the Corporate office.

  38. Same thing happening in Clarksville, Indiana! Stay away! Manager is a horrible, nasty woman and I've got stories that could go on for days (been here 3 months). There is NOWHERE to complain to, I've been looking online. Headquarter's number takes you to people that don't answer their phones, and there is no other customer service. I can't afford to leave right now (long story), but can't stand their harassment anymore either. Has anyone found a number to call for a real live person to help them? Someone needs to take control of this franchise!!!

  40. i am having hell of a time here in panama city. i have been cussed out by the girl who is filling in at the front desk for the GM, i have had housekeeping let themselves in my room to argue with me after i just told them we dont need anything and im not dressed, then she got mad and ran to her lil "fill-in manager" and i got cussed out again... they tried to eject me and my 1yr old son from the hotel saying we weren't paid up for the week, when we were and i had my receipts and credit card sayin i was, and instead of an appology for her mistake and hassel, i got a horrible attitude. we have people above us who are up 24hrs a day and night being as loud as they possibly can and when you call nothing happens. they had a meth bust here last week, babies running around with no clothes and no parent all hours of the night and do nothing about it, however they want to be all up in your business when you tell housekeeping you don't need them because you clean your own everyday... i have never been somewhere that is ran so ass-backwards... it's unbelievable. once we check outta here, we will never be back, and i would not recommend this location to anybody. i am calling corporate and letting them know what is going on and how things are ran here, and how they treat their guests...

  41. Same in fort Myers Florida. Drug activities. Scum living and working there. They robbed my 900 dollars from me after staying there for 3 days. Kicked me out . For a person staying with me had a warrant for arrest for a mistake that they picked her up for. Because she wasbin hospital for a court date and someonecalled to pick her up. So they pick her up and take my money and kick me out. BBasically robbed me and sent me out homeless. And do not care. Now I cant get my money back. Manager says no u can not stay here and keep my money. Not fair at all.

  42. Value Place Sharonville Ohio has the absolute worst management and customer service. After booking a 1 month stay my employees were threatened by other guests ( employees were smoking outside and another guest said he was going to call the police if they did not go inside - they were in a non smoking room). The next night one of my employees was talking to his wife on his cell phone in the hall while walking back to his room and the management yelled at him for doing so. 3 nights later one employee was outside the room getting something from his car while the other was in the room ( they used the clasp to hold the door open as they only had 1 key), management stormed into the room and started screaming at the GUEST , I use capital letters because apparently the staff does not know how to treat guests that are paying and I hope they read this ( if they can read) and used racial slurs. When I spoke to the manager who did this ( Mia or Kia), she stated she had every right to go into an occupied room. I had my employees move out as these are not livable conditions. I tried to reach her boss, Jeremiah but got know return phone call. I left 5 messages for Jeremiah to call me regarding a refund on the unused dates. He stated that my employees broke hotel policy and therefore I would not get a refund. To finalize, Value Place Sharonville Ohio kept 1 months of payment for 1 week of stay and harassed the guest into leaving. When I called Jeremiah back to discuss he stated that that if I call the hotel again he would call the police. Value Place Corporate- is this who you really are? If so I will waste more money on paying one of my other employees to stand at the edge- not your edge- of the property line with a very large sign stating " If you want to get screwed out of your money- stay here!!! "If you wanted to be treated very poorly, stay here", Jeremiah and his front desk staff are as unprofessional as anyone could get. Please feel free to give me a call- my info is still on file at Value Place Sharonville or as I call it Ripoff place sharonville. You also have my number in your corporate office as I have registered many complaints without response from you- or maybe you are as good at customer service as the ripoff value place in sharonville OHIO.

  43. Sharonville Ohio value place stated that the rooms are 99.9 percent sterilized before check-in. Doctors visit proved bed bug bites on the entire left side of my body, I checked the mattress and it was completely covered with bed bugs and bed bug feces ( I paid for the treatment of the bedbugs as management said that there was no way they had bed bugs due to their 99.9 percent sterilization) they are full of BS. If you want to get bitten by bed bugs- stay here. If you would like to avoid them- stay somewhere else with a better cleaning / sterilization policy. I will be going through 3 months of treatments from my doctor due to this- do you think Value Place will pay for this or even own up to this issue?- DO NOT STAY AT VALUE PLACE SHARONVILLE OHIO. You will get very sick

  47. This is a terrible place to stay. I'm moving out as soon as possible. Their customer service is the worse I have ever experience. They are definitely greedy for money, but yet give out poor service. I asked to be moved to the first floor because I work late and get off at one am. Well I was told that the building is safe. That's not the point I was yelled at and told that it would cost me 75.00 to move on first floor. He was so rude, mean and nit understanding at all. I will never ever recommend anyone to the value place. I moving out asap. By the way I pay one thousand for rent and this is how the fuck I get treated. Fuck the value place bullshit ass company!

  49. Value Place in Columbus game has become a roach infested and haven't ordered drug users. Port is so bad at times when you get on it you will gag. Will never stay at a value place ever again. Worse weekend ever at a hotel. Made my kids sick. Nasty place

  50. Never will recommend this organization. Reported to bbb, and will write a complaint on every sight I can find. Colorado Springs location. My wife and I are moving to the area with our cats. My wife is a vet tech and our cats are treated better than humans. 20 minutes after we arrived the night manager Matt threatened to call animal control, and to kick us out. Apparently their ridiculous policy of no refunds has now trapped us here against our will. I will not walk away from money spent. So now I have to constantly watch my car. Im thinking lawyer at this point as well. 20 mins here, 7days paid for, and no refund. Highway robbery.

  51. The Value Place in Norman Okc is a ripoff and manager Kristi is a lowdown disrespectful money hungry person. I don't see how they let someone like her run their business. Very nasty to the workers and most of them are ready to quit. She sets rates the way she wants and charging you for things you don't ask for such as linen.

  52. I have stayed at the Value Place in Greenville, SC for almost 2 years. They recently had a change in front desk employees and management. I have yet to meet the new manager when the old manager Kim was always around and was very friendly. The staff at the desk now are rude and treat you like criminals! Residents were not notified of the management and staff changes and apparently the new policies that they have put in place.

    This is by far the worst experience I have ever had! I am currently looking for a new place and unfortunately had a friend that I recommended to stay here during their move, but have since advised them to look elsewhere!
