    5. I am also from Sharonville, Ohio Value Place. Sonia is the most non compliant manager. Two weeks ago, when I call for a service for maintenance. I state "My toilet is running, I need someone to fix it" She says, sounds like you need a plunger and come and get it. I said..no, you are not listening, my toilet is running NOT stopped up. Seemed like she didn't want to help me and only do what she wanted. She just said with a rude reply, "Ok, I will have maintenance come up." Just today, I had another request about my fridge. I told her it wasn't keeping my food cold. She said it is probably frozen. I said, how can it be frozen when my food is warm. She finally said ok, I will send maintenance. It was like pulling teeth to get her to help. WHY?

      Also, they have no sense of time. They don't care about the clients. They give their guests LESS than 24 hours to move their items. I was asked last month to move to another room. They were updating the rooms. They coulnt give me more than 24 hours to get my stuff packed up? NO, they gave me Less than 24 hours to move all my earthly items. ALL night on a work night. What?? Disorganized and not at all with any customer service. They said that they had no choice. Bull...other guests had more time. I am sure they did the same to other guests also. From the comment above, about her, I am not the only one that thinks this. We may be looking for another place to go.

    6. Pensacola,fl. is the filthiest place ive ever stayed and I have ben here a long time paying $800. a month. the hallways, commen areas, and laundryroom are so dirty I have to go to a laundry mat to do my clothes. what a shithole.

    7. On arrival we took pictures of the room and on departure we had the front desk clerk come check the room as well as took pictures. She stated that there were hangers and a clothes basket when we checked in and there WAS NOT! they are wanting to charge us for them, so we told her we would go buy some and bring them back....the answer... we will need to charge you for a late check out. REALLY? what a rip off!!! DO NOT STAY HERE

    11. The Manager at a Value Place Inn in Michigan just hung up on me. I made a reservation this a.m. and asked for the confirmation. I had to call back twice to get it and then when I finally received it 7 hours later, it was wrong. I called to have her correct it and she hung up on me. I will never use this hotel again.

    14. HOTEL SUCKS AND SO DOES CORP VALUE PLACE - NC worst place I have stayed in my life. BEEN STAYING AT HOTEL FOR 3 MONTHS AND TALKED TO THEM ABOUT GETTING TAX MONEY BACK BECAUSE ITS THE LAW. Paul Hornsby room 306 checked in Friday for 1 week.Told them early Sat afternoon TV has bad picture he said have no one to look at it then.I asked for another room,he said he had no other rooms.I checked with him Monday at noon told him channel 5 so bad could not make out players on the screen.Missed the Big Ten championship and other good games.I left at noon Mon got back at 4 TV still not fixed.

I am a guest at the valueplace in Asheville nc the manger after a week here has been harasing me and my family and once again a couplant was made and i get acussed of being in all black walking around at night her magnets man was with me and knows it was not me or my family i am so sick of this woman if there is not something done about her i will let everyone know how bad the management is here and i am from here so that can make it hard for her and the company

  2. I know what you're saying. My stay there was rather nice, quiet and comfortable (with the exception the internet went down the day before Thanksgiving and didn't come back up until three days later) but they are "money hungry" as you say. I paid a special price of $600.00 for a month but they charged me boo koo in "taxes" for a total of almost $200.00 in so-called taxes, for a total of $800.00 (not including my deposit of $100). Then they TRIED to charge me for linen services that I didn't ask for or request and when I called them out on it, they deducted it from my monthly bill but I still paid taxes on those services that I didn't ask for. Other than that, I really don't have any other complaints about them.

  4. Staying right now. Horrible experience toilet is plugged and over flowing. Went to the store and come back to it doing this. I called the emergency no help except a plunger. Big nasty mess on the floor. The response i get is to wait till the morning when maintenance arrives and manager. There are 3 people in our room with no toilet to go in. I asked what we do for bathroom. Wait till 9am. Son has school in the morning And me a interview. Plus also our tv is dying. No color and picture dying. There solution. No replacement they don't have any. For $210 a week u think we get better service. UNHappy!!!!!! Will never recommend.

  5. The price went from $219.99 to $239.99 in less than 2 weeks after staying at this place for 3 months. Apparently the rate goes up by $10 for everyone except those on the 1st floor who pay a $20 increase. This is ridiculous. Went I initially moved in the rate was $209.99.

  6. you think thats bad, try workin at the value place in texas they take your hours the manager treats you real bad, they have there familys stay for free while they charge other companies for rooms there families stayed in our manager never lifts a finger to help, makes everyone do her work. she likes to discriminate on people just because the way they look, and has affairs with the customers in the hotel, ive called human resourses left my info didn't get a response so now im going to the better biuisness beureu

  7. Stayed at the one in Akron Ohio. Manager was an asshole and treated his staff like shit. Works them to death andt about how lazy they are to residents. I've heard him threaten them if they go over his head. EXACT WORDS FROM HIM "ITS MY HOTEL AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU IF YOU GO TO DAVID". These poor girls work 50-60 hours a week. The safety attendant is always working. The poor Safety Attenant works from 6PM until 8am Mon-Fri and 6pm to 8am on Mondays. It's like this company owns them. I've stayed at many hotels in my life and have never heard of having to answer phones all night and not get paid. I will never stay at another value place.

The Manager at the Lubbock branch in Texas has to be the worst place to work for, as the poor security man works all night and on weekends has to cover the office and clean rooms and do laundry then gets his pay hours cut because it is over his hrs he is allowed to work .. the Manager has her BBF employed in the office and has her doing her own sewing on a sewing machine while customers wait to be attended too ... then they (Manager & BBF) set the security guy up and start phoning ... next thing at 11,30pm on a Saturday night he is told he is fired for being rude on the phone (which I have never found him to be anything other than polite) and told to vacate the premises by 6pm Sunday ... this is so unfair and all because the new Manager wants to get rid of all the old staff and employ her friends ... I am hoping that this is looked into as so many of the staff have put their hear and soul into their job at that hotel ... please Corp look into this disgusting unfair treatment of staff there .. thanks in advance

  8. Maybe someone can explain to me how a monthly rate only encompasses 28 days. It has always been my understanding that if I pay a monthly rate on the 25th of one month, I would not be due again until the 28th of the next month.

  9. The worst place ever. I had made reservations for a room with a bed and sofa bed because it was me and my 2 children (ages 2 yrs and 6 months). When I checked in I was not put in the correct room but put on the 4th floor (which is smoking and I have asthma) and there was no sofa bed due to it being all they had left. I managed for a week, when it was time for me to pay for the upcoming week I was told by a housekeeper that a room with a sofa bed was now available but when I asked the front desk clerk if it was possible for us to move she told me no because I was in a smoking room. Even after I told her that I do not smoke and that I was put in a smoking room because that was the only thing available she still refused to move me and my children. I was also told that housekeeping would come clean the rooms once a week but have not received anything and the one time I did the housekeeper told me to vacuum my own room because he didn't feel like doing it. They are very rude and unprofessional here.

  10. Your customer service sucks I'm not supposed to be taxed after 30 days but they are still charging tax for missing one day. Like today I missed a day or so and I let them know I was going to late until I got extra money from my family I got told by the supervisor if I didn't come up with some kind of payment today and when I got out of class I would find my stuff in box waiting for me when I got here not everybody can pull money out the air you know plus the supervisor also was saying he won't t get his bouns for people staying here l don't like it when he let's everybody know my business when it comes to pay. I tell them when I' m going to pay the the next Tuesday they say that's fine. But kike today was the worse day of my life after this week here I going to find another place not here.     1. My husband and I are staying at Value Place in Clarksville, Indiana and we are experiencing a similar problem. We moved in on Sunday, and this is when our weekly rent is due. However, the front desk doesn't even open until 3 pm on Sunday, yet the manager still charges us a $45.00 late fee for paying after 11:00am. We aren't able to pay until 3 so I'm having difficulty understanding this policy. I beginning to wonder if the manager here is pocketing the late fee money because she makes it impossible to pay before 11 on Sundays due to not opening the office until 3. We stayed here a few years ago when it was under different management and it was so much better.

  11. Worse experience and I haven't even stayed there yet. They charged me for a weekend rate even though I had 3 days to cancel my reservation which I did in time. But the day before my last day to cancel they charged me because they didn't have my phone number and wanted to get my attention. I already had that money allocated for other bills and now I am $180 in bounced check and return fees because they didn't have my phone number. Why wouldn't they wait until Friday when I may or may not have shown up? And I can't get a hold of anyone.

    Not looking forward to my stay there this weekend. And now reading all the comments, I am screwed. Good thing I have lawyer friends.

    1. My stay has been pleasant. i been here a short time. i just keep to myself and just say "hello" . i feel that the room i reside in should be $499 a month, i just have your basic 1 BED. No sofa. but, it is what it is. But, if all goes well, i will hopefully be in my own apartment in a few weeks . it's sad reading about all these negative reviews on by here about Value Place. But , so far everything been okay for me? at times i have not been happy with the parking spaces. i think i am gonna make sure i have a clear understanding on what my fee gonna be when i depart from here, because, i do not want to get stuck paying a whole month if i not live here the entire month. but, from a scale of 1 to 10, i would give a overall score of 7.

  16. This is the worst place to stay ever!!! . The staff at the VP in Johnson City, TN needs some major staff training. Very unprofessional and extremely rude!!!! They will let hookers have "guests" in their rooms but won't give a paying customer a key to their own room they share with their spouse!!! This place is a joke and a waste of good money for four months!!! Would not rec.this hell hole to anyone!!!

  20. I was quoted a $600 a month fee by Jason in Columbus Ga. I paid $185 to move in and he said I could pay ever week to add up to my $600. I paid ever week which added up to over $600 and was still told I had a $364 fee on my account for late fees and taxes. Bullshit. Please please pleas if you can help it. DONT EVEN MOVE IN THERE. The day I move out he quoted a guy from north Carolina a price and when he arrived it was a totally different price

  22. Value place in bessemer, alabama is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were hardly ever any towels when I needed them. No tissue this is a hotel for Christ s sakes. The manager was very rude. I had complained several times about the on call attendant refusing service several times and nothing was done about it. My room never got cleaned when it was suppose to...very dissatisfied customer. Will not be going back!! A lot of us from us steel will not be going back up there. Crystal promised us good rates and great service over the phone and did not follow through with it.

I use to live there and i watched a lady work 14hrs in a row and she was told if u dont get your rooms done you cant leave. I cant believe no one has turned them in for this crap

    Stayed at the one in Mentor, Ohio and the place was always clean, the staff was very nice BUT from the moment we checked in I didn't want to even deal with Adrian. She is very rude, very inconsiderate, and really works on your patience. She has no professional training at all!!!!!!! She is really the rotten apple that is spoiling the whole bunch. Her disrespectful attitude could easily get her in a world of trouble if she talks to the wrong person the way she has talked to me. She's really a person you wouldn't want to represent your business. Her attitude stinks and her personal hygiene is pathetic. Her hair is full of dandruff and being pregnant I almost puked looking at the top of her head while I was checking in. I really hate to write such mean things about a person but she is the kind that brings the worst out of anyone. I even heard another lady who works there talk about how she needs to learn how to do her job the first day I came in to inquire about rates. I instantly knew who she was referring to once I encountered Adrian later that day.

  26. The Value Place in Waco Tx is a nice place to stay if they got rid of the days front desk clerk (shelly) and the house keeper (Gaby)! They are so unprofessional and nasty!! They use the N-word like its ok and so disrespectful to guest. They dont even dress like they are coming to work, they always look like they just got out of bed. If Value Place want to keep there business going, they need to clean house starting with those two before someone whips their asses or get sued!!!

  27. The Holland Mi. Value Place was the worst places ever stayed. motel manager knocks on doors if no one answers she lets her self in. Cleaning crew talks trash about guests to other guests. Problem with noisy people complained to management nothing done about it. Was sexually assaulted in the elevator. told management about it they said there is no cameras in the elevator. But yet there is one on the first floor right by the elevator. Only response I got is if it happens again will call the police for me. Other incidences have have happened in the parking lot with peoples cars. when management was confronted they said the cameras weren't working. In one weekend Friday had the county police at the motel 6 times arresting people that have warrants for there arrest. Saturday had a drug overdose and numerous incidences with the police had to come in. Sunday was about the same as Friday.

    Manager is by far the laziest person I've ever met. When I asked to speak to her I was told she usually doesnt get in until almost lunch time and when I went to go speak with her she was already gone again. And didnt come back for hours. This was not the only occasion this happened. Now that was just my own personal issue with her, I have seen her many times go into a room with guests.. and never the same one. First that's disgusting and as a manager myself, I'm pretty sure that's against policy. I find her always flirting with guests in the front, I've had to wait several times for her to "wrap it up.". She's rude, lazy, treats the other employees with no respect... And that's just what I've seen just being a guest. I can't imagine how she truly is. I think corporate needs to do something about her ASAP.

  29. Value Place. Are you reading your posts? There is a lot of negative things that need to be addressed about Customer Service with your employees, and also about the staff work experience. I only saw one good response, but, along with that good response, the comment was added with a negative. On this page alone, it is going back to April 2013. At our hotel in Sharonville, OH it is bad also. Is there anything being done to rectify? Please read these. Our hotel is clean, but it is hard to deal with the manager Sonia and night clerk, Mia. Ashley is the only kind one that knows how to deal with issues in a manner that is professional. A+ to her. Please help. This is your business. I hope you care.....

  30. The management in round rock, Tx have very bad attitudes. When you make a complaint about poor service or illegal activity, they get mad at you and speak sarcastically like they are taking it personal. If I say "the toilet won't flush" they say maybe you didn't pull the handle down right etc. what ever goes wrong it's something we did. I don't care to go back n forth w/ her just want it fixed. Poor customer service. If there is a small stain on sheets or towels house keeping refuses to take it. Saying they will charge us for it and that it is very expensive, they only come every other week. If management takes are properly trained in customer service this place would improve some

  31. Wow! I know exactly what you all are saying about them. My experience with them is happening now. Rude, unprofessional, sneaky and most of all Untruthful staff. Lebanon TN. Manager needs a little shout out from Mediallia if Corporate can't do anything or investigate. Which Corporate has been called I know, from speaking with another guest here. We didn't get to check in on time and had to wait for another hour in a half. Little girl behind the deal was very rude from the get go. We came up the elevator and the halls were filled with smoke. Went back down to let manager know when the first room comes available we would like to move. Hasn't happened yet and its week 3 now?? Found out a room had been cleaned for us and we weren't told by office staff. Went down to fund out about the situation and the little girl lied to us. Come to find out manager is protecting her. Makes you wonder what's hanging over his head? We have been advised to contact Medillia and have they weren't happy at all! Hey, if his job is worth losing over some rude, untruthful staff then that's on him. Your running a business and customers comes first and they are always right! I know of two more people that aren't happy with this hotel and maybe something will be done because like staff has said, they don't see how they still have their job after all the complaints to corporate.

  32. Yes! This one in Lebanon, the staff will say one thing and turn around and do another and say they didn't say that. Been waiting for a while for another room and everytime they are full. They give new guest rooms without taking care of the guest that have been here waiting for another room. The halls are filled with smoke. The lady in the office is rude and always is. Staff will tell you that they don't know what they are soing down there and turn around and say they didn't say that. This value place here is very unprofessional and I agree that corporate should if not already has should be.

    I found this upon having slow internet speeds and noticing a network problem because of the open non encrypted network.After having a problem with the noise levels in this hotel, I contacted the Staff more than five times on different occasions to address the noise issue ,the next day I notify the Staff that the problem had not been remedied and that the noise had continued to be an issue. The Employee ordered me(A U.S.Army Combat veteran) "go back to your room,we can't have this in the lobby" I laughed at her and said dryly "I'll go back to my room after you resolve the noise issue, I can't go to my room this situation is pissing me off too much" She then states "I'll call the police if you don't go back to your room. I say "You know what, call them,I should probably talk to them myself ,this is ridiculous."

    She called the police on not only a guest but a Veteran that fought for her freedom because I wouldn't allow her to handle me and she couldn't resolve a simple noise complaint.
    After a short conversation with the local police, which took one look at me and knew she was out of line,
    Seems to me that the Hotel policy is to tell the guests what they want to hear without any resolve for complaints.
    This is a very low class Hotel, calling the police on decent guests for registering a complaint, I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
    I will also be getting in contact with the Corporate office.

  38. Same thing happening in Clarksville, Indiana! Stay away! Manager is a horrible, nasty woman and I've got stories that could go on for days (been here 3 months). There is NOWHERE to complain to, I've been looking online. Headquarter's number takes you to people that don't answer their phones, and there is no other customer service. I can't afford to leave right now (long story), but can't stand their harassment anymore either. Has anyone found a number to call for a real live person to help them? Someone needs to take control of this franchise!!!

  40. i am having hell of a time here in panama city. i have been cussed out by the girl who is filling in at the front desk for the GM, i have had housekeeping let themselves in my room to argue with me after i just told them we dont need anything and im not dressed, then she got mad and ran to her lil "fill-in manager" and i got cussed out again... they tried to eject me and my 1yr old son from the hotel saying we weren't paid up for the week, when we were and i had my receipts and credit card sayin i was, and instead of an appology for her mistake and hassel, i got a horrible attitude. we have people above us who are up 24hrs a day and night being as loud as they possibly can and when you call nothing happens. they had a meth bust here last week, babies running around with no clothes and no parent all hours of the night and do nothing about it, however they want to be all up in your business when you tell housekeeping you don't need them because you clean your own everyday... i have never been somewhere that is ran so ass-backwards... it's unbelievable. once we check outta here, we will never be back, and i would not recommend this location to anybody. i am calling corporate and letting them know what is going on and how things are ran here, and how they treat their guests...

For a person staying with me had a warrant for arrest for a mistake that they picked her up for. Because she wasbin hospital for a court date and someonecalled to pick her up. So they pick her up and take my money and kick me out. BBasically robbed me and sent me out homeless. And do not care. Now I cant get my money back. Manager says no u can not stay here and keep my money. Not fair at all.

  42. Value Place Sharonville Ohio has the absolute worst management and customer service. After booking a 1 month stay my employees were threatened by other guests ( employees were smoking outside and another guest said he was going to call the police if they did not go inside - they were in a non smoking room). The next night one of my employees was talking to his wife on his cell phone in the hall while walking back to his room and the management yelled at him for doing so. 3 nights later one employee was outside the room getting something from his car while the other was in the room ( they used the clasp to hold the door open as they only had 1 key), management stormed into the room and started screaming at the GUEST , I use capital letters because apparently the staff does not know how to treat guests that are paying and I hope they read this ( if they can read) and used racial slurs. When I spoke to the manager who did this ( Mia or Kia), she stated she had every right to go into an occupied room. I had my employees move out as these are not livable conditions. I tried to reach her boss, Jeremiah but got know return phone call. I left 5 messages for Jeremiah to call me regarding a refund on the unused dates. He stated that my employees broke hotel policy and therefore I would not get a refund. To finalize, Value Place Sharonville Ohio kept 1 months of payment for 1 week of stay and harassed the guest into leaving. When I called Jeremiah back to discuss he stated that that if I call the hotel again he would call the police. Value Place Corporate- is this who you really are? If so I will waste more money on paying one of my other employees to stand at the edge- not your edge- of the property line with a very large sign stating " If you want to get screwed out of your money- stay here!!! "If you wanted to be treated very poorly, stay here", Jeremiah and his front desk staff are as unprofessional as anyone could get. Please feel free to give me a call- my info is still on file at Value Place Sharonville or as I call it Ripoff place sharonville. You also have my number in your corporate office as I have registered many complaints without response from you- or maybe you are as good at customer service as the ripoff value place in sharonville OHIO.

  43. Sharonville Ohio value place stated that the rooms are 99.9 percent sterilized before check-in. Doctors visit proved bed bug bites on the entire left side of my body, I checked the mattress and it was completely covered with bed bugs and bed bug feces ( I paid for the treatment of the bedbugs as management said that there was no way they had bed bugs due to their 99.9 percent sterilization) they are full of BS. If you want to get bitten by bed bugs- stay here. If you would like to avoid them- stay somewhere else with a better cleaning / sterilization policy. I will be going through 3 months of treatments from my doctor due to this- do you think Value Place will pay for this or even own up to this issue?- DO NOT STAY AT VALUE PLACE SHARONVILLE OHIO. You will get very sick

  47. This is a terrible place to stay. I'm moving out as soon as possible. Their customer service is the worse I have ever experience. They are definitely greedy for money, but yet give out poor service. I asked to be moved to the first floor because I work late and get off at one am. Well I was told that the building is safe. That's not the point I was yelled at and told that it would cost me 75.00 to move on first floor. He was so rude, mean and nit understanding at all. I will never ever recommend anyone to the value place. I moving out asap. By the way I pay one thousand for rent and this is how the fuck I get treated. Fuck the value place bullshit ass company!

My wife is a vet tech and our cats are treated better than humans. 20 minutes after we arrived the night manager Matt threatened to call animal control, and to kick us out. Apparently their ridiculous policy of no refunds has now trapped us here against our will. I will not walk away from money spent. So now I have to constantly watch my car. Im thinking lawyer at this point as well. 20 mins here, 7days paid for, and no refund. Highway robbery.

  52. I have stayed at the Value Place in Greenville, SC for almost 2 years. They recently had a change in front desk employees and management. I have yet to meet the new manager when the old manager Kim was always around and was very friendly. The staff at the desk now are rude and treat you like criminals! Residents were not notified of the management and staff changes and apparently the new policies that they have put in place.

    This is by far the worst experience I have ever had! I am currently looking for a new place and unfortunately had a friend that I recommended to stay here during their move, but have since advised them to look elsewhere!

Runs behind a homosexual EE allday asking that EE what to do cause mgr doesn't have a clue. This location allows employees to clock in from their room. Sexual Harrassment is normal at this location. A. the maid never cleans the ptacs in rooms, mgr doesn't follow company policy at all, mks up policy daily to fit her schedule. Mgr has house keeping turning n handling heave mattresses alone. When EE injured, mgr writes up for injury cause now u have to take off from injury. Wow ! Mgr discriminates blatantly at this Rockwall location. Mgr hires ex cons, drug users, alcoholics n covers for them when they mess up on job and miss2- 3 days out the week every week. EEs fratenize with guests. EEs come to work with hangovers n its ok with mgr as long as u can do something. This place is ridiculously filthy, high standards, now thats a JOKE, roaches, feces, condoms, etc. Everything goes at Rickwall value place.

The Value Place (Savannah GA) is the only place I have used this credit card in months. Seems like a person in the Value Place Corporate Offices in Wichita have stolen my credit card information and used it fraudulently in Wichta.

  58. It is unfortunate that we have to complain about the service we have received here in Chesapeake-Greenbrier location in Chesapeake, Virginia. On numerous occasions, we were awakening by the noise of children and adults banging on the walls. Staff members were unprofessional. Dress code was not neat. The Regional manager was less than friendly to the customers. We have been in the corporate industry for over 30 years and never have we encounter unprofessionalism in a hotel environment. My spouse worked in the hotel industry and has enormous amount of experience; he is very disappointed with how disenchanted the hotel staff was in their lack of creating a comfortable hotel experience stay for the customer. The customer is the most important commodity for your organization; therefore, it is your duty to treat each individual that patronize Value Place Hotel in a respectful and appreciative manner.
    We have been here since October 2014 and we were charge taxes on our room for 90 days; which we were informed that after 30 days we will no longer be taxed. It is interesting how you can tell about the minds of the people who own the company by the type of people that they hire.
    I will pass this on to others who inquire about the stay here; it’s unfortunate that I must be honest to say the least that this is a very uninviting environment.

I to stay at value place in Madison Alabama, and Bill the manager doesn't go above and beyond to do anything for you... you're treated like you're a inconvenience for them, now I will say that the housekeeping staff is very pleasant and does a thorough job in cleaning, Amber that works the front desk has always been professional and courteous with me, the maintenance man does a exceptional job as well... the punk... yes punk that works security at night acts like his the damn Gestopo ,rather than knock on your door to address a MINOR issue he bangs on it... little bit of a power trip,guess he was bullied as a kid.... in short get rid of the manager and security and value place Madison, Alabama would be an over all pleasant experience. ..   63. My husband and I have stayed at Value place a total 3 times in Springfield Mo due to selling homes and not having purchased another omen. This time I have had it. We had communicated to the front desk we had cats(2) we were informed it would be fine(we had pets in the past as well). All of the sudden the safety & security guy came to our room and states the cats cannot stay and we had to remove them our get out. It was late 9:30pm, no birding places were open. One of the staff members called the manager James to see if we could stay thru the next day until we could find boarding or other lodging. He stated we could stay until 3pm. I was awaken at 8:30 this morning with knocking on the door. It was the float manager Michele telling me that the cats or the entire family has to be out at11am. I tried explaining to her that James the manager give us until 3pm to find boarding/lodging. She abruptly informed me that was wrong and I need to get out. I felt like the attitude in which he spoke to me was like a criminal or that I had committed a felony. These were the rudest people I have ever met in Springfield. They remind me of the rude people in St Louis. I work with several realtors in the area that need recommendations for clients that need short term housing when moving to the area. I will not recommend Value Place. And just a side note this place was also kicking several other people out the same time this was happening to my family.

    Surely this location can do better if the staff gives good customer service. Especially Eda , she needs to be fired, the lady treats customers with out respect and dignity above all she harasses customers. Really does this lady own this Location because if she is the owner( you will loose customers ) due to her selfish ,ignorant and rude ways.

    And she brings her children to work ,sit them in the office ,yep ..in the office where they make noise and last time I checked who brings their children to work ?

  66. Value Place Raleigh, NC is a terrible place to be. Me and my husband was there a year and the manager was nothing but a lying person. And the General manager Jennifer is a straight trick. Very rude and unprofessional and dont mind losing money because noone should be treated with disrespect. The workers are made to work six to seven days straight and not appreciated. Jennifer has a nasty demeanor and treats people like she is better than them but dresses like a whore. When behi d the desk working you should be dressed professionally. And if you think that we are going to pay for anything my words is Try Me Whore. Will never recommend this establishment to anyone. Word of mouth is dangerous and im telling everyone about this place as awful. Will and Ian are the best thing that the place has going on. They are very nice gentlemen and deserve recognition. They trest guest with respect and not an inconvenience. Jennifer will get hers one day. Karma is not nice.

  69. Value Place Louisville south has a bad manager,she treats her employees like shit. She comes to work and leaves an hour later. She is always on Facebook on her phone. Our room has not been clean in 6 weeks there is only 1 housekeeper,an she works her butt off. Melanie and Sheila are 2 of the hardest working ladies I have ever met. Melanie is in that hotel 24/7 always looking out for her guest, she can always make you feel welcomed and she is always smiling. Even when you wake her up at 3am cause you lost your key. Something needs to be done about the management here!

  70. Louisville Ky.. We have stayed here for about a month now because we have no place to live. We lost our apartment last month. And needed a place to stay until we find something. And it was the only place that was cheap in the Louisville area. Well cheap it is not!!!! They charge people way to much!! Blood sucking assholes!!! And it takes weeks to get something fixed! This company is getting over on people. You should not charge people a arm and a leg to stay here. 358.04 a week to stay here is insane!! And just for one week we got to pay 338.00 that week because of the special they had. And payed a week later and paid 358.04 again. Does that make any since?? I can keep going on but don't have enough time.

  71. Gainesville FL. I'm a 33 y/o Veteran. I've got 10 years in the Marine Corps and I went to combat 3 times. I got out this year and i've decided to make a career change into the I.T. Field and going back to school doing some Certifications using my GI Bill. Three weeks in, room on the first floor, not so bad, room has everything i need i can't complain. Fourth week some guest moves in on top of me (young couple early 20's) Chainsmokers, they are in and out of their room all day and night to go smoke outside and everytime they walk around it feels like Godzilla in the movie the hole room is trembling and its loud. I have my headset on with music in the background doing homework or online classes with the teacher talking and I can hear them clearly. They wake me up in the middle of the night almost every night. Sometimes i fall back asleep some other times i'm not so lucky they keep me up the rest of the night and i'm just raging and get pissed off going crazy putting up with this. Tried to call the front desk to let them know but nothing changes. End result get to go to school with 3-4h of sleep or less quite often. At the end of the fourth week I am told one of the tenants got kicked out of the hotel before and got back in I don't know how. They get an "official" warning from Senior Management (whatever that means) or they might get evicted. It got somewhat quiet for a couple days and they it just got worst than ever. I'm have been complaining everyday for the past week and i'm still getting waken up at night. I called the complaints line and did an official complaint, i'm being told by the front desk they are going to "handle it" and talk to them but a week later of constant complaints nothing as change. I asked to be moved but the hotel is always booked. Front desk tells me: "well we can't just kick people out just like that" -And that's after threatening to kick them out if they keep going... I don't know what to do anymore. I hate my room, I get to work fri-sat nights all night and i can't even take a nap before going to work... I dont even look forward to be in my room anymore to the point where i'm relief to go to school in the morning to have some peace and quiet. This is pathetic!!!!

In October 2015 I stayed at the one of the Arkansas and acquittance of the girlfriend it was with me she invited him to the room with another friend of his that we knew more than we knew him anyway later that evening apparently he decided he wanted to rob us he told the girl at the front desk that he forgot his room key didn't work anyway she just blatantly just gave him a room key he had a gun he came up to try to rob rob me and my girlfriend of the money that we had on us he walked into the room right when I was standing by the front door that he was banging on I just thought quick enough to slam the door shut with the lat and put the latch in place but I wonder how he got into the room and he had a gun he set off the fire alarm after that over the whole hotel they all had to run outside and we could not get out of the room because of him standing out there of continually beating on the door with a gun we had to run to the windows and start yelling out of the Windows from the third floor and some of the mail patrons there at the hotel did come up there to get us out of this point demanded run back down into the parking lot and everybody could see him no one did anything like they did call 911 but he was just out there with a gun just it was the craziest thing of ever been through in a bit traumatized from it and I'm scared to call the corporate quarters to tell the, and I don't know why. After reading the comments hear it I don't think it would do any good to even call they did not even comp our room. The police came to fire department came and took a police report we were going to leave there that evening but it was about 3 o'clock in the morning at this point and we were so tired so we fall asleep we get up he is back at the door with the gun the next morning banging on it and they had told in the room the room the phone to the room was cut off the only thing we had was a cell phone to try to use to call the front desk to tell Them he was at room door they didn't do anything. Come to find out the man was on parole from prison.

  75. Value Place, Fredericksburg Virginia. My family and have been staying at the value place since Sept 2015. The stay has been very pleasant with minor issues of deceit and lies due to two particular female managers at front desk. I have traveled a lot and I have stayed in a lot of hotels which I thought were pretty safe until I witnessed something with my very own eyes. On 11/27/2015 I saw a female MANAGER at Value Place in Fredericksburg Virgina GIVE HER BRACELET that allows access to each and every door, guest rooms and all to another guest staying there in the Value Place. By the grace of God I only have two more weeks at this location. I have not spoken with property manager as of yet, I plan to do so very soon as well reach out to Value Place Corporate offices.

She has some very extreme mental health issues and should not be managing anything more than her medications. Why she is still "managing" this hotel is beyond me. Corporate clearly has no regard for guests or employees who work like dogs here only to be threatened for absolutely no reason. This is when people like us call the BBW and a expose the issues that corporate refuses to fix. Housekeeping suppose to be every 2 wks good luck with that there been times my room wasnt clean for over a month. They only give you one roll of tissue if they have it. The Assistant Manager Melissa is the worst of all she tell you one price then when you come back to repay for another week she trys to deny that she told you that rate an blame her staff by calling them idoits an other vulger names she will belittle them in front of customers. I reserved through a 3rd party company @ The Bossier City, LA Value Place there wasn't a pet policy listed on the 3rd party site but we have a service animal for my husband who is a disabled veteran. We checked in on Sunday for a 7 night stay and Monday morning we were contacted by the Manager Ms.Brown and was told that they have a zero pet policy and we needed to leave with our pet and there would be a $250 cleaning fee that she had no control over yet she would work with me and only charge $200. We did not have the extra $200 so I asked what our options were if we removed the animal to the vehicle and she said we have to pay the $200 to their cleaning company even if we removed the animal so we had to check out and Ms.Brown kept the remaining balance of our stay $224 for the cleaning fee. I reviewed the copy of the policy that Ms. Brown had giving upon check in and their policy DOES accept service animals contrary to her insistence on a ZERO pet policy. I returned to talk with Ms. Brown about this with my husbands Veterans disability letter and proof from the NSAR (National Service Animal Registry) but she was unavailable so I left my contact info for her to call me and I received NO CALL.. I returned on Wednesday to find Ms. Brown at the service desk. I showed her the policy that clearly states Service animals accepted. As well as the proof of disability and registration. She told me that she had no power to issue a refund and I needed to contact corporate and she would vouch that their was a mistake on her part however the cleaning fee would not be refunded. I questioned her knowledge of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) which clearly states that no fees can be assessed for Service Animals. She became offended and told me that if I was going to play the Law card that she was not going to help me and I could take it up with corporate so here I am trying to get this resolved. I did contact my bank and disputed these charges however Value Place has yet to refund any money.. Total discrimination and a violation of ADA.. This fight is not over !!!!

  80. Value Place Sharonville, Ohio - I'm on a non-smoking and people around me are smoking
    and the smoke is entering my room. I asked the manager (Laura) 3 times to look into it and nothing has been done. DONT STAY here if you are a non-smoker because they smoke on the non-smoking floors.

ANYWAY, on with my complaint. If the rude ass worker at the Louisville, KY location, brings her smart ass outside again, running her mouth to people. I'd say someone will end up punching her in her face. Yes this goes the mouth running bitch that was working around 5:00pm today. You're in the wrong end of town to be acting like you want some confrontation sweetheart. Someone will knock your teeth out.   83. Everyone posting here, this site doesn't belong to valueplace. They are not going to respond to your issues because they don't see them or know about them. It's a public website not monitored by ANY of the companies that are listed on it. You should call the numbers listed and complain. Companies do more when they have a hot issue or two or five waiting on the line in a phone call.

    any police activity in your room, one of the property attendants Sheila in room 414 had the detectives and police conducting investigations on the occupants of her room and was caught stealing tips as well

  85. Altoona, Iowa Don't Stay, avoid at all cost. Loss of clothes by laundry is responsibility of Company Value Place has leased the equipment. If you submit a report of ruined clothes, your are required to submit receipts to Texas office of Coin Max, they might refund in 4-6 weeks. Poor house keeping. If packages come, do not expect Management to inform you.

  86. Value place Lexington Kentucky is the worst motel I have ever stayed at. BEWARE!!! Jesse Denton is the manager there and she is so smug and stuck up it's sick! I stayed there on the night of April 25th 2016. We smoked outside the night before, and the next morning we woke up late due to the fact that there was no alarm in the room like advertised. I washed my hair in the sink no realizing the other half of my cigarette was on the counter next to me and it got wet. We had to hurry and leave so I just threw it in the toilet as I was walking out the door. When we got home,to Colorado, there was an extra charge of almost $300 on my credit card. When we called she said she has pictured of it in the toilet. Good cause anyone that smokes knows what it looks like if you smoke and just throw it, and it wasn't. They still will not refund the money and she now will not except my calls or return my calls. I've asked for their corporate number and she told them not to give it to me. WORST PLACE EVER!!!

  88. Value Place on Victory Drive in Columbus GA is the worst. While the outside looks nice, once you get in, everything changes. The front desk clerk, which is the only one ever on duty wanted to charge me $337. for 3 nights at $34.28 per night. I said that is over the correct price. She said she didn't know anything about it, the computer does the pricing. I said well that's not even correct math for a computer so she ran it again and came up with $226 for 3 nights at $34.28 per night. I'm thinking someone is either pocketing this money or I'm paying for someone else's room. So I said let me get my calculator out and I started adding up the correct cost plus taxes and she finally gave me the correct dollar amount with taxes at $34.28 per night for 3 nights. 30 minutes later mind you. So we get into the room and it not only stunk of cigarettes and weed, but liquor, beer and everything else. We had to switch rooms. Well all of this should have been my clue to leave but there were several of us there for my sons military graduation so we could not change at that point. When the sun went down there all the drug dealing came out along with prostitution. Crack heads hanging around outside, men going in and out of rooms, girls naked all but a see through shirt in the only elevator in the entire building and cops taking a guy out of the hotel who had 13 warrants out on him. The police told me not to stay there but if I had to that they were just down the street. Lovely. When I checked out of my room, the next day they asked me what happened to the burner on the stove in the room. What!!!!!! What in the world would I do with a burner. Well much to my surprise it was obviously taken by someone else who had a key, maybe the night shift, cleaning lady, who knows. But whoever it was most likely was using it to cook meth, or so I was told. Also, the front desk closes at a certain time in the evening and does not open until 9 am or later, depending on which day it is. Some days they are only open 3 or 4 hours, for a hotel, really. One day we needed some more towels and they informed me that there were none.

  89. Hope you know there are 7 dogs in a room on the first floor in the Fredericksburg property. I thought you weren't pet Friendly? And the manager is a hot mess very lazy she's always hiding in a corner in the office and she looks like she doesn't take a bath,and she stays on site. Everyone works but her.
