Layaway! I went in Rooms to Go in Pembroke PInes, FL. sales rep Martha assisted me which I wanted to layaway an adjustable King size bed frame which I just really wanted to lay it away to get the Promotion which was the last day. So I was told by another sales rep that they only require you to put 10 percent down which was fine.Martha the sales rep did not explain to me the layaway plan/cancellation policy to me as a customer at all…I was made aware of it when I went to cancel and requested a refund.Then I was told they were going to charge me 40 % restock fee !Also was not told I had 48hrs to cancel for a full refund! But yet they gave me the refund in a store credit for the full amount I put down in the bedframe.There’s no signs posted at the location to explain the Layaway process but the sales rep should have. They want the commission but don’t tell you nothing as a customer I will never go back to buy anything from Rooms to Go again!This was the worst experience I had!

I’m very disappointed in Rooms to Go!

It’s a long story but, the salesman talked us into an extended warranty under false claims. My sofa is still in the extended warranty period yet extended company won’t cover the defective cushions. The salesman said they would, the company said they won’t. Not even the store manager could help me. The sofa is expensive and I feel duped. Never purchasing from this company ever again- and I’m in the process of shopping for more furniture! All this could be resolved but the company has awful customer service.

The worst customer service by BOTH your delivery department & the store. After placing my order at the store with BOTH the salesperson and manager. They promised AFTERNOON delivery for both furniture and accent items, which would be delivered by two different delivery teams. Two days before delivery I received a call from your delivery department informing me the delivery would be in the morning. That was UNACCEPTABLE. And your delivery department representatives REFUSED to change it. So, I had to call the store manager. This took over 2 hours of my time to finally get them to change it. The thing is the day of the delivery, I learned the store did NOT arrange for delivery. So I called and called for a few hours before the manager came to the phone. She promised the delivery that day, but they NEVER called to confirm. Then I called the store asking for the manager and was put on hold. This occurred OVER 3 hours. The manager never came to the phone. What made matters worse is the other people in the store were NOT aware of what was promised and said there was no delivery scheduled. Then I called the corporate office and they said their records do NOT show any delivery. What a disaster! Terrible service and even worse was the miscommunication and bad record keeping by the store. Most of all, to be ignored for hours by the store manager leaves me with a VERY BAD FEELING about Rooms To Go.

Delivery was scheduled for November 8, 2023. We purchased an Electric Love Seat, two chairs, and an 8×10 rug for our TV Room and paid $179.00 for delivery and set up. When I opened the door to welcome the driver/helper I immediately recognized that the driver was irritated, very unfriendly, and appeared annoyed. We tried to ignore it and welcomed them in. A 10 x 10 rug was brought in first and the driver was annoyed that we were showing him where we wanted it. He made it known he was not here to provide service. It did not take long before he told me he didn’t like my attitude.
