  2. For years your shoes were "the shoes to wear!" Everywhere you went in The Villages (FL) men and women wore them for all occasions, /Since you have changed to V2 and V3 everyone is complaining about the lack of support in these shoes. I am wearing my old 608 (original) shoes and hope they never wear out. What did you do to a perfect fitting shoe and turn them into rejects? The new shoe feels like I'm walking "flat-footed" (without support). We all loved wearing USA made product. Figure out what is wrong and go back to the original version!

  3. I usually wear 608 leather or an above number for my shoes.Last summer I tried a material pair that was gray and pink, I thought the number was comparable, the price was, but the workmanship definitely was not! Within a month, they were already breaking down. In a couple of months I could not even wear them, so I threw them out! I am so disgusted with New Balance. I either go back to wearing the old fashioned white leather or buy tennis shoes not made in the USA. please get you're act together. I can't afford shoes that I end up throwing away! I'd rather buy a product made in the USA but not if you can't make something I want. You may contact me at dptski73@sbcglobal.net

  4. I bought two pairs of your 1060s, then one or two of the 1062s, then came the 1064. As I wear custom orthotics, your shoes now are not orthotic friendly. I never threw out the older pairs, and have now revived them once I realized they were repairable with high-quality urethane caulks, even though I have a new pair 1064 just sitting in my closet that I can't wear. Maybe you could think about those of us who require custom orthotics in your designs. If you can't come up with something new, then maybe you could simply resurrect the 1060 or 1062. A flat surface on the bottom of a shoe shouldn't be too hard to manage to allow an orthotic to be used by the many of us who need them.

  8. New Balance is having some serious issues with width sizing. I bought a pair of size 7D runners a few years ago and just recently bought a pair, same size and they were 3/4" narrower. That's the difference between comfortable and my feet are in serious pain. Then I went to a store and tried on many pairs. Nothing in a D width fit at all, one in a regular width was wider than the D width. I know from comments on many different sites that I am not alone in this problem. Their customer service team refunded me, but they have lost me as a customer until they can get their stuff together here. I'm not impressed.

  9. I agree with the previous post that New Balance is having some serious issues with width sizing. They used to be my "go to" brand for women's NARROW trail and running shoes -- I mean, like for at least 30 years. Then, a few days ago, I tried to get my third pair of minimus trail shoes in narrow and found NONE. In fact, the entire line of trail and running shoes for narrow feet has become very limited and pretty stodgy. I wrote to Customer Care on 6/6. Here's the amazing 6/9 response (note that the 10v2 that the rep mentions is not offered in narrow sizes):

"Thanks for your recent New Balance inquiry. I am sorry that you are not able to locate the shoe. The woman's minimus line does not come in narrow. We still have the Minimus 10v2 Trail available on the website. I do want to thank you for your loyalty to New Balance.
Please contact us with any other questions or concerns."

  10. I purchased a pair of 476 in 2006. These are the best shoes I have ever worn. But it is time for me to get a new pair. I have looked everywhere and cannot find them. Can you tell me where I could buy another pair. I went to Kohl's store locally and they had none. However, they had a 476, but they were not the same 476 that I was looking for. I have searched online but cannot find them. Does anyone know where I can get these shoes?
