Corporate members: I work at Bel Air, MD Massage Envy!! I enjoy working there & have a wonderful, full clientele!!!! My only complaint is that I am not satisfied with the 'NEW' forms to enter SOAP notes...not enough space to write our assessments, treatments, and such!!!!! Please consider to expand the amount of space provided, so that we may write our notes appropriately, ethically, & professionally!!!! Thank you!!!!

The manager & owner of palm desert suck!!! The manager joey rolls her eyes when we (front desk) explain to her situations that have to do with clients in her words she says "i dont care i dont care just tell me what the client wants!" What type of management is that? And the owner holly know that 80% of her staff are weed smokers!!! And they are therapists! It was once brought to her attention to drug test everyone but they informed her that if she did she'd loose all her good therapist!!!! Poor massage parlor!!!! Everyone be careful!

These people and their management try and charge you after the contract Expires, the store I am referring to is at 3384 Cobb Parkway NW, Acworth Ga 30101 and the manager Lori was rude about how "I need to read my contract"I will never ever step foot in another Massage Envy, and make sure to let every single person I know how they rope you into their "Auto Renew" contract.Buyer's beaware
Amen! I was roped into the same deceptive contractual practices with the office at 1936 South University Dr., Davie, FL 33324. This cured me of massages at Massage Envy and I would never give them (if I ever step in a Massage Envy again) a credit card number of mine. They just keep charging after the expiration date even if you specifically tell them BEFORE you contract expires, "cancel...close my contract as of the expiration date." They are "rip off" artists by the greatest description.
I totally agree, I have had the exact same experience with a Massage Envy in Riverside and it is a very unpleasant situacion. I have prepaid massages and when time came to use them they tell me they have expired and to renew a contract which truly I did not even remember I had a contract, as they made me sign when I paid as to their liability without explaining anything. I hope this does not keep happening to other people.
Yes, please read you contract, I got a letter from my doctor's office that I no longer need the treat, due to other issues regarding my shoulder. I did as was told, gave them the letter the next month the money was taken again. I call the corporate number a man by the name of Freddie was very rude, keep saying God Damn each time i answered his question,stating I kept cutting him off. I am cancling my card and have learn a very great lesson not to give my card number out for any services. Pay cash is the best way.
This company should be shut down. The corporate morons should be thrown in jail. This pace found a loophole on how to steal money. But these morons don't believe in attrition apparently. If they had the ability to use their brains they would relies that the money they stole from me this year they could have made in future years off me if they were a good company. APPARENTLY A CLIENT MADE A STATEMENT TO MY BOSS JOHN ABOUT MY MASSAGE.JOHN STATEMENT TO ME WAS I DON'T KNOW WHAT U ARE DOING IN THE MASSAGE ROOMS BUT I HAVE TO RELEASE YOU. NEVER EXAMPLED TO ME WHAT AND SAID THE CLINT WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT. WHAT WERE THEY COMPLAING ABOUT? Not only are the soap notes too small to write everything properly, but I am a Massage Therapist in Connecticut and how am I getting in trouble for updating the client's info every year like it says to do so? I was taught in school to update every year, and I may be getting fired for updating client's information. The owner says to me, it's wasting paper. Stupid. It keeps me and the company covered but they want to remove me for doing my job right. I"m waiting to see what happens, but I am so unhappy. The workers come in whatever attire they please, and I'm getting in trouble for doing my job right.
I once worked as a Therapist at massage envy; they kept me busy which I really enjoyed. However when it came down to my health they didn’t care one bit. I transferred from the location in Chandler AZ to one of the Gilbert locations. The manager Kat from the Chandler location, stated hurt her feelings because of the transfer and that she would get back at me. After one week of the transfer she was at the new location, pulled me in the office and fired me. For apparently telling a client that she looked hot with red hair, I am completely blind and have been since 1994, so please inform me of how I would know the color of anyone’s hair or even skin at that rate? She told me that I would need to sign a release for my last check. So I did sign to get my last check. I moved out of state shortly there after, and applied at another massage envt. they said I wish I could bring you on our team but your reckard isn’t good at all. I was violated by not being told the truth of the paperwork. She had me sign a termination report stating unethical practice and speaking to clients unprofessionally and yet when I tried to get this resolved it was always convenient that the personnel I needed to speak with was always in a meeting and never returned phone calls. It is not only Clients they treat poorly it’s their employees. All Massage envy locations and the corporate office cares about is the green that fills up their pockets.
WORST MASSAGE ENVY EVER~!!!!!~ Went there last night for a couples massage, got there 15 min early as requested, filled out paperwork, as requested... They were late starting, my massage was ok, girlfriends massage, was more like someone rubbing suntan lotion on her. Oriental lady needs to be making the beds or cleaning toilets.. She does not know how to massage... AT ALL!! When we complained about it, they said well on your next massage (REALLY YOU THINK IM COMING BACK AND PAYING YOU AGAIN?) we can do better! LOL... Talked to the owner today, she said well you were here on a Complimentary massage so it isn't the same as a regular massage!!! SHE HAD NO FREAKING IDEA HOW WE WERE PAYING UNTIL WE GOT DONE AND WERE BACK IN THE LOBBY!!!! Called another massage envy and they said we could come there and they would give a free massage to make up for the CRAP at the TOMBALL MASSAGE ENVY!!!!!!! Its a shame another M.E. has to step up to the plate to take care of this dumps mistakes!!!!!
I am commenting on one of the Murad products I recently purchased and am amazed on the packaging to make you feel you are getting a reasonable amount of product. Essential C Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF15 PA++ I suggest you pull a bottle out of the box... 1/2 the container is the pump/lid ..and the in the bottom 1/2 only 1/2 of that is product!!!! it has a nice clear false bottom... so all in all, you are getting 1/4 container of product and 3/4 of packaging. I would also like to see "specials" on Murad products run on a monthly basis at ME....would make the all around costs for their product a bit easier to swallow. thank you and I hope this gets to someone and doesn't just hang out on a lost web page....

I'm a member of the Lincoln, RI location and I have been trying to cancel my account since I've been out of work. They keep taking money from my account even though the only income I get is a small amount of child support. This company is HORRIBLE.

I have been a member of Massage Envy at the Tempe Marketplace for 5 years and I am cancelling my membership due to constant racist comments and abuse I have witnessed by the front desk people there. They recently hired a bunch of front desk personnel, all of whom are black, and their ring leader has to be one of the most abusive and racist people I have met at ME. As soon as I walked in the door, I was bombarded with "You best be celebrating black history month" and a smile... to imply they're kidding? I didn't respond and went to wait in the relaxation room as they call it. I am dark skinned due to visiting tanning salons, so I can only assume they think I'm part black. While in the relaxation room, I overheard two of them hollering out how great chocolate power is and how much better chocolate is than vanilla and that Massage Envy should have an entire month of specials and celebrations for their black workers, without whom the company would miserably fail and that they should get rid of all the crackers working there starting with the new manager who hired them because black people can do a better job. The ring leader of this racist group,Swanny, is extremely verbally abusive to the therapists as well; she has the worst attitude of anyone I have met in a long time. There are several Hispanic therapists I have overheard her belittling n the hallways and break rooms. It's kinda hard not to hear everything that goes on since the walls are paper thin. Apparently she is above reproach since complaints have gone unanswered and she is still employed there. Fine, keep her, I will spend my money elsewhere and never darken another ME door again!

When this location (O'kelly Chapel Road in Cary NC) first opened I had a massage there and was told about how great the membership program was and how easy it is to freeze your account etc. After having issues with my credit card and bank I found out that my payment had not gone through for 4 months. When I found this out after looking online and seeing that I did not have a membership I called to make a payment. I wanted to make sure that I did not lose any massages that I had accrued and asked about it. I was told multiple times that someone would get back to me about it and no one ever did until I called multiple times in one day. I was then told that I had to pay for every single month I had missed in order to activate my account and if I didn't pay within a month my account would be canceled and I would lose everything I had accrued. This was the first time I had ever been told this and I was shocked that I had to drop hundreds of dollars or lose hundreds of dollars in massages. After speaking to the manager her excuse was "the management at the time was not very good" and her only compromise was for me to make one payment and lose three massages I had accrued (mind you I hadn't accrued any during the time that my account was suspended nor could I or did I use any services). So I would still be paying for something that I was never told about. I was then talked to as if I were ignorant and that maybe the owners could "explain things to me better." It is not my fault that the past management was "not very good" and I am losing hundreds over something that I had no knowledge of and was not given any information on even after having a membership for at least one year. I was given false information and not given any information regarding various policies. The manager also claimed that she "had no corporate contact information." That I obviously found online. I have filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau and wish to resolve the issue by simply not having to pay hundreds of dollars for months that I did not use or receive any services. After paying for this month I could move forward now knowing of this policy and keeping a closer eye on my payments and credit card information to prevent this from happening again. I was unaware that my credit card had been continuously not going through after I thought I had resolved the issue months ago. I do not think that a customer should be responsible for something that they were not given any information on even after being a member for at least a year. I also did not receive any warnings or emails about my payments not going through or that this would happen or that my account would be canceled after 5 months.
