Etsy support their scammer sellers that charge your card without shipping the item. Then when you call immigration on their scammers they send you an email harassing you. I deleted and permanently closed my account and Etsy is still able to reach out so be very careful because Etsy might be sharing and keeping your info for criminal and illegal reasons.

My account was suspended before I set it in motion because I had the wrong information filling out the data fields. I was asked for my business ID number so I drove to the county clerks office and procured the information. I uploaded the forms providing Esty the requested information. After a week went by my dashboard said I was good to go but the account to sell is still suspended. I was not given any more information why I cannot sell on Etsy. If you could kindly specify the reason so I can rectify the situation.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Account Suspension

Dear Etsy Customer Support:

I hope this letter finds you well, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the recent suspension of my Etsy store, NicolettesJewelry. I have been an active and dedicated seller on Esty for 14 years (since 2009), and the sudden temporary suspension, of my account, has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss.

First and foremost, I would like to bring to your attention the lack of clear communication and transparency throughout what was to be a temporary suspension process. I received no prior warning or explanation regarding any violation of Etsy’s policies and guidelines that led to the temporary suspension. Only that I was temporarily suspended for non-payment and that I needed to make a payment. I updated my credit card and paid any balance due, all of which was completed in December of 2022. As a loyal seller, I believe that I deserved to be informed of any alleged violations and allowed to rectify the situation before such drastic action was taken.

Moreover, the lack of responsiveness and assistance from Etsy’s customer service support team during this period has been deeply disheartening. Despite numerous attempts to contact Etsy through various channels, including email and appeal tickets, I have received no meaningful response or guidance to help resolve this issue, an issue already resolved months and months ago. The lack of timely and effective support has further exacerbated the negative impact on my business and has left me feeling neglected and unheard of as a valued customer.

I would like to emphasize that I have always strived to adhere to Etsy’s policies and guidelines, ensuring the highest level of integrity in my business practices. I take great pride in the quality of my products and the positive feedback received from countless satisfied customers. The sudden suspension without proper explanation or recourse has tarnished my reputation and undermined the trust I have built with my customers over the years.

In light of the above, I kindly request the following actions be taken:

1. A thorough and immediate investigation into the reason(s) for the suspension of my account, providing me with a detailed explanation of the alleged violations, if any.

2. An opportunity to rectify any identified issues or violations, with clear guidance and support from Esty’s team. I have already rectified the only matter brought forth.

3. Prompt reinstatement of my Etsy store, Nicolettesjewelry, to restore my ability to operate my business and serve my loyal customers.

I trust that Etsy, a reputable e-commerce platform, values its sellers and takes customer concerns seriously, I believe in the importance of fair and transparent practices and hope that you will address this matter promptly and satisfactorily.

I appreciate your immediate attention to this complaint and anticipate a swift resolution to reinstate my store and restore my faith in Etsy as a trusted marketplace.

To whom it may concern:

I have purchased many items through ETSY and having done so, my trust factor in feeling ETSY would be fair and just. However, recently I have seen some listings that leave me with a less than trusting and comfortable feeling. These listings happen to be the people that are attempting to sell “Beanie Babies” at totally ridiculous prices. I understand in the consumer “world” it should always be consumer beware, but I am applaud with this being allowed.

Yes I did my due diligence and research after I got excited thinking, I had something of great value. And yes I know we always need to be cautious in our purchases. I have been stung badly due to the “scams” that are allowed on Pinterest.. So many companies selling extremely bogus items. So having been burned, I no longer purchase anything on Pinterest but thought ETSY would be a company I could put some value and trust. Now I am not so sure. I personally think this will hurt ETSYs reputation at least for me.

Yes, I understand if someone is so “naive” to purchase one of these “beanie babies” at these exorbitant exaggerated prices, then so be it. I just will re-evaluate my trust in ETSY.

I am truly disappointed.
