  3. the customer service @ the Sawgrass store in Florida is horrible, unprofessional, uncomfortable, unacceptable, improper, deplorable & offensive. I sent a letter to Corporate in November and never got an answer from them. I believe that is the reason their unprofessional staff get away with murder; Corporate does not care.

  4. this a been the worst store I ever have done business with. Our home was in a bad fire and half of our house went down the rest we lost everything, we had ins on it so we has money to pay to buy what was needed in our house still there is no money that could ever replace what we lost we are thankful no one was hurt.
this store shoe no sympathy no emotion no care what so ever. We didn't ask for anything for free or anything only to charge us full amount on what we wanted and to keep it in there storage while our house was being rebuilt. The sale woman was asked to charge with full amount for we didn't have to deal with it later as we wanted to pay everything we got so it would be an issue later, we she charge part of it because the card to pass it was a limit so she said we will pass it the next day and come sign papers I did but still not sure what she mad me signed when she never charge it so I had to go to the bank this was such a delay with everything we were going thru . Then I called and spoke to Sam to get the furniture delivered he said if you come the next day in the morning it will be delivered for Friday so my husband got to work late to get there pay for it and was told sorry delivery is going to be don't for Tuesday. At this point I was upset they never even said hey you know what we are so sorry for what you and your family are going thru let me call Corporate to see what we can do with you family to help you out. I explain we were victims of a disaster home was in a bad fire and we were being help with red cross, Sam said so we don't work with them they are not vendors of ours, really vendors I even wonder if he knew what I was saying.
one with furniture was deliver there was several issue that a tech or repair person needed to come out when called to advice the issue they told me no issue someone would come out on the JAN 02 2014 WOW I waited the whole day nothing so I called back to be advice no the 2nd but for Saturday , know come on what is the issue with this store I REALLY COULD OF TAKEN MY BUSSNESS SOMEWHERE ELSE ....when i called yesterday 01/02/2014 which I spoke to Pablo i asked to for the phone number to the Corporate office and he didn't instead he was smart he gave me the number to the manger from the store MARIA . ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I CALLED CORPORATE OFFICE AND SPOKE TO JENNA SHE SAID SHE CALLED OFFICE AND WOULD VERI ISSUE WITH MARIA AND CALL ME BACK LATER. PRIOR TO ALL THIS SAM OFFIER ME ANOTHER 5% AND HE SAID THIS IS THE BEST I CAN DO FOR YOU ON TOP OF YOU 10 % YOU HAD SO IT WAS 15 % WAS VERY RUDE SAID WHAT ELSE DID I WAS I WAS NOT GOING TO GET ANYTHING BETTER THEN THAT RUDE PERSON NEVER HAVE I HAD TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS AND HOW CAN THEY STILL BE IN BUSSNESS ? IT WAS NOT THE MONEY IT WAS THE LET ME SEE WHAT WE CAN DO AND IM SORRY YOUR FAMILY HAD TO GO THRY THIS BUT WE ARE HERETO HELP. WOW REALLY. I WOULD NEVER BUY OR RECOMMENT ANYONE TO GO TO THAT STORE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . I HOPE CORPORATE DOES WORK ON THIS AND FAST AND DOES SOMETHING. BECAUSE I WILL HAVE TO GET RED CROSS INVOLED AND NO THEY ARE NOT VENDORS.

  5. The store in Carrollwood/Tampa FL has the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I have been calling for days trying to set up a service for y dining room set (poor quality, an orange juice spill that was cleaned within 2 minutes ruined the top of the table). The service department does not pick up their line and the customer service agents have the tendencies to act like they can't hear you, when you try to complain. I will probably never shop there again.

  7. My reason for this story is because I am a angry American Signature Furniture customer and purchased a new sectional back in March of 2014. Since the date of my purchase I have has several issues. After picking up my set I was missing 1 pillow and there was a defect on the picture I had purchased. I called in the same week to report the issue. I was told it would take 3 - 4 weeks. I finally received the missing pillow and replacement picture 2 months later, by this time I had a piece of my sectional that had sunk in and was broken. I brought the broken Piece in to the store in May; I hadn't heard anything until today June 10th when I took the time on my lunch hour to go to the store to discuss the fact that I now have 2 more broken pieces. I spoke with the customer service manager who informed me that I will be required to continually bring in any pieces that break for the duration of my 1 year warranty. Needless to say I am happy that the warranty is being honored but on the other hand I am NOT PLEASED that the couch I have chosen is obviously defective and of poor quality and other then fixing each piece and me being without multiple pieces of furniture and being inconvenienced no reasonable resolution has been reached. I have been in customer service for several years and have never run across a company that is not willing to stand behind the quality of their product. Unfortunately the sectional I purchased is of poor quality and does not work for what I need for my Family. I wanted to choose a better quality set and pay the difference but was told by the Service manager that all that WILL be done for me is American Signature Furniture will continue to fix my broken pieces for 1 year. This is not a form of resolution to me. Once my year warranty is done I will be stuck with a broken couch and I will be out 2 thousand dollars. This has been an extremely frustrating experience and has left a bad taste in my mouth. I warn everyone to stay away from America Signature Furniture this company and it's employees have no integrity.

  8. I will never shop at Value City again. I don't trust them. I came in on April 12, 2014 to the Burbank location in Illinois. I went to buy a bed for my little guy to sleep in. It was a twin size Windchester bed - Ebony?? I was told I could pick it up on Monday, May 27, 2017, well customer service called to say that it was on back order for June 18, 2017, ok, then the date was changed to June 18, 2014. I was going out of town and I continued to call and speak with the manger. I told them this is not good business and I wanted my item to be delivered free of charged, they agreed.

Then I was told the twin bed was coming in around July 4th, that dated changed again to a back order date of July 25th. I said enough because I called and spoke with a customer service rep. that had informed me the bed was in stock and they could deliver it on July 15th. I am so angry at this company because I told the manger of the name of the person I spoke with and the just kept on saying their was nothing they could do??? Really, then the manger Fallon told me that it is no guarantee that I was get my son bed on July 25th.

I went to the store and got my credit back, sorry to the salesperson, that did a great job, it's just the store suck! Wherever they are making or getting this bed made it needs to stop. On the same day I went to the Room Place, ordered a cheaper bed, was able to save on the mattress and that store delivered my son bed on Friday. I went in the store and told them about what Value City did to me. I'm a single mom working two jobs! How dare you take my time and money has a joke! If you guys go out of business I will not be sorry about it. I really do miss Wicks Furniture Store.

  9. There online service and Bear De locations SUCKS..I purchase an item online my approved the purchase and someone from ASF voided my purchase but never notified my bank, so my pay for the item, but when i went to pick it up my item wasn't avialable. The Bear De store blamed Corporate and Corporate blamed the store; neither one of them could tell me why/who voided and where my money was at. The manager at the store didn't think my issue was important enough to call me back to discuss it. I will go to social media start #dontshopatASF

  10. I will never, ever shop or attempt to shop at American Furniture again. In fact, I went to get my money back today. I paid a down payment and 129.00 to get a sofa delivered to my house... AND IT NEVER CAME!!! And, when I called the store, I was greeted with the most Rudest, Unprofessional staff that I have ever done business with. When I went to the store to retrieve my money, the unprofessionalism was worse in person. Tomorrow, I am going to Ashley furniture to buy my sofa!

  11. I too will never shop at American Signature Furniture. Bad service, rude customer service and lazy workers.

The American Signature on Camp Creek Pkwy in Atlanta, Ga is terrible. Save time and money and shop at Under Priced funiture where they appreciate you shopping with them.

  12. I just recently brought a wall unit from American Signature, however after paying off my purchase I deceided to walk around the showroom, there was a leather ottomon sleeper, I wanted to put this on lay-a way however the store refused to let me do this, I would like to know why, it was the only piece in the store no more in storage and it was the display...I was very disappointed as a customer,I even asked if they could put a sold sign it,..I will never make any more purchases from your store again...

  13. Will never ever shop at this store, poor quality, poor customer service and rude. Our 4yr old sofa and recliner are PEELING, the so called bonded leather is peeling like someone is shaving it off, piece by piece. Have been trying to get results for more than a year, furniture is now duct taped, yes duct taped. They said this is just regular wear and tear, really ????would not send anyone out even to look at it, have a 7 year warranty on this crappy furniture. Once someone came out to try to fix it, he was nice and did the best he could, he only showed up after we said we were calling a local news company. Feel they should at least have got a store credit

  14. I purchased a 3pc Cambria Sectional last July from the Stonecrest store in Lithonia, GA. It has become THE WORST FURNITURE PURCHASE EVER!!!! The sofa has broken 3 times since I bought it and I haven't even had it for a year. I call myself surprising my husband with new furniture upon his return from Afghanistan. Only for him not to be able to relax and enjoy it! I have a warranty so they send out technicians without an issue, but what happens when the warranty expires? As far as I am concerned we need a better made sofa! No one in my family is overweight or abusing the furniture so there is no. reason for this. I blame the manufacturing. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ANY FURNITURE STORE CONNECTED WITH AMERICAN SIGNATURE FURNITURE AGAIN!!!!! And to make things worse, they offer no type of compensation for the inconvenience. The inconvenience of not having a sofa to sit on and enjoy with my family. The inconvenience of having to wait a week for someone to come out and fix it. The inconvenience of spending my hard earned money at a store that claims to have merchandise of good quality, but it's obviously not true! The moral of the story is AMERICAN SIGNATURE FURNITURE DOES NOT TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR PRODUCT NOR DO THEY VALUE THIER CUSTOMERS! TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE USEFUL FURNITURE BEFORE YOU SELL THEEM!

  15. Stonecrest location in Lithonia GA are full of rude liars. I purchased a dresser in store and set up for it to be delivered on a Friday, manager called Wednesday trying to redo my schedule to convience his drivers because it's a Friday. Ok, just inconvience the paying customer. He keeps claiming all of the other slots are filled for delivery. Bullshit, no one is shopping there like that. Serveral customers were walking out when I was going in and that should have been a sign to just leave. He even had the nerve to ask if I could get off work early. I will never shop here again and make sure I get the word out to others not to. My salesman was professional, the manager sucks. I will be contacting someone from corporate asap. I will just start shopping with the OTHER furniture stores. I will sue if I have to and this is ridiculous to treat someone like this. Incoviencing customers who have paid hundreds for this stuff.

  16. Kennesaw, GA location. Horrible customer service. You can tell that Managers have not trained their reps on customer service. Will not do business there with ASF again and will tell others not to as well. Very unsatisfied customer. I paid cash for my furniture too.

  17. We purchased a couch in April 2013 along with the 7 year extended warranty. In the last 6-7 mos it is falling apart. The cushions on the left and right end of couch feel non-existant when you sit down...you feel wood...the back part of the left side the cushion has fallen all the way to the bottom of the back rest. The threads are coming out of the footrest on the left side. The right side rear of seat cushion is ripped away from the rest of the couch. We are not rough on the couch...it is only my husband, myself, and 53 year old brother-in-law and 95 year old grandmother in the house.

I called the end of February to the American Signature store on S. OBT and explained the situation as stated above. They said they would send someone to look at the couch, which they did on March 5th. The person took pictures of the couch and stated to my husband they would need to schedule a pick up for us to take it back to shop to see if it could be repaired that it wasn't something they could do in the house. We went out of town on March 13th and I hadn't heard from them. On March 20th we returned and still no call. I called the store on March 23rd inquiring when would they pick it up. I was told by the person on the phone that they shouldn't have scheduled anyone to come it was a mistake and that she would need to speak to her manager who wasn't in that day but would be on Tuesday and she would return my call with possible resolutions after speaking to the manager on Tuesday.

On Friday March 27th at 3:47 PM I received a voice mail from someone whose name I can not understand from 407-581-5320 stating that unfortunately they do not cover and we would have to contact the Uniters Company at 888-751-8552. That our warranty expired last year. How does a 7 year extended warranty purchased in April 2013 when we purchased the couch expire in 2 years? I have no idea who this Uniters Company is nor who I need to speak with. I have been patient for over a month. My patience is wearing thin now and I would like to have a couch that we can sit on and it doesn't hurt because you are sitting on wood almost rather than cushion.

  19. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Went into the Duluth GA location to make a purchase in May 2015. The order was not correct however luckily a customer service representative caught the error prior to delivery. The couch and love seat had several defects. I sent back three sets as each set was torn. Rosa, from the warehouse promised to make the order correct with the 4th shipment and provide a $100.00 store credit. Needless to say the 4th sofa set was still torn, I waited all day for a deliver that did not occur and the store credit has yet to appear. I have left several msg for General Manager Brandon, who has not responded over a three week period. I called the customer service line today only to be told we need to bring Brandon in the loop. In addition, to the poorly built furniture the lack of professionalism is egregious. Do yourself a favor and go to Ashley Furniture.

  20. I have been in sales for over 40 years and find that the customer service at ASF is not only disconcerting, it is unbelievable.

My wife and I recently purchased a dinette set . During the sales experience we looked at a number of other items including coffee tables , end tables and mattress pillows. The sales rep was really pushing the mattress pillows and finally my wife got very adamant about not wanting to purchase these expensive pillows. We decided to just purchase the dinette set.. After some conversation we decided that I would pick up the set and save the $120.00 delivery charges.

On Saturday as scheduled I picked the item up at your Morrow store. After the item was loaded the man said here are your 2 pillows. I was rather confused but said to myself maybe my wife had changed her mind,

Returned home put the set together, 3 chairs were unbalanced and the wood was peeling on three chairs as well.{ We purchased the extended warranty so we will see how they handle this issue}.

My wife got home and asked about the pillows since ASF had called her asking if we going to pick up set and pillows. She was confused as me because we did not order the pillows. . In unpacking the set one pillow was opened and the packing was accidentally discarded with the packing for the dinette set,

On Monday I called your Camp Creek Store and explained to them what happened. i WAS ABRUPTLY TOLD THAT THEY WOULD ONLY ACCEPT THE RETURN IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKING. I patiently explained that the error was not ours and we only wanted a credit for the pillow. The customer service rep was very adamant that ASF would only accept the pillow in its original packaging .

My wife and I both talked to the sale rep and she agreed that she made the error and was very apologetic. But the store policy was store policy. But she would talk to the manger, Not hearing from her in awhile I called the store manger and spoke Ms M the Assistant Store Manager she very curtly expounded the company line regarding the pillow. And went on to say that it seems that this was a "communication problem between my wife and I.

I asked for corporate number and got A Ms. C on the line and after 20 minutes or so she arranged for a store credit of $40.00 if we returned the pillow.

What is disturbing to me through this entire interaction is the behavior of local management regarding this situation. I talked to two assistant store managers Ms. M at Camp Creek and Ms B at the Morrow store. In addition I was told the store manager at Morrow Ms R all recited the same company line.

I was told that the local managers do not have the authority to authorize a refund of $40.00 to a customer. Even in a situation where the sales rep obviously made an error.

We have purchase thousands of dollars of furniture at ASF over the last couple of years. Because of the inept manner that local management handled this incident we will not be customers of ASF again. I find it inconceivable that mangers would not do the right thing to right a wrong. Protocol notwithstanding getting a situation corrected should be the number one priority of local management.

As I said we will not shop at ASF again and the only contact we will have with the organization is to get the items corrected under the extended warranty we purchased.

  24. The service of the store on 15018 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL is the worst of any business I have ever had to deal with! My husband and I went into store in July to look and possibly purchase a sectional as we were moving into our new home in the beginning of August. My husband was leaving the country for work that week and wanted to secure a sectional before his departure.
We went back a day later and purchased a sectional paying cash, no less to be delivered the first week of August 6, 2015. The store contacted me and said that one of the pieces was on backorder and they were not able to deliver complete until August 15. 2015.
Okay so we received sectional and I noticed a rip in the leather. Also delivery guys just threw it together and it was not properly attached to on another. I immediately called the store and was instructed to take pictures and email to manager with an explanation, which I did.
I was instructed to not touch, move or have anyone sit on sectional. Which I did. I received a call from the Manager on August 17th to set up a service call for repair. I stated to her that is unacceptable as the sectional was delivered with damage and I wanted the piece replaced. Which they agreed to, and stated it would be delivered on the 22nd of August.
I then received another call stating it was on backorder until the 29th of August! I stated to customer service that is ridiculous that we have to wait so long and not be able to utilize our living room.
They then offered us a 30% discount to keep sectional as is. I refused and said politely, I will play by ear and wait till the 29th of August, but if I receive another call stating backorder, then they can come pick up sectional and I want a full refund.

I received a call August 27th stating it will be backorder until September 12th 2015!!!!!! I was mortified!!!! asked to speak to manager and asked for a refund.
She said that I could not get a refund or return because it has been sitting in my home for more than a week. I was livid!!!!
Contacted my husband overseas (which he gets charged international rates by the way) and he contacted store to instruct them to pick up immediately.
Finally getting rid of it on Sunday! good riddens

Will never ever purchase anything from American Signature.

They hound you and follow you around like a sick puppy dog before purchase then when you buy something that you think is good quality and call for service they ignore you and are extremely rude!!!!!!

Not worth my time, trouble or hard earned money!!!!

  28. Bought a 3 piece-set, a bar table and 2 bar table stools from the Colonial store in Orlando, FL. Waited 2 weeks for delivery. I got the bar table and 2 counter stools instead of 2 bar stools. Went to the store. They tried to make me pay for their mistake! It was the salesman's mistake who put in the wrong sku # in the computer for the stools. They wanted to make me pay for the difference. Then they wanted me to wait another week for delivery for the 2 stools. They said they couldnt deliver after 4pm-I explained no one will be home til 4PM. They don't want to hear that. I have talked to 3 very rude, disrespectful, mean, obnoxious clerks behind the counter who verbally attacked me. I never got any apology from any of them. The rudest one kept on saying "we are done here!" repeatedly. They all refused to give me their full name but gave 3 first names. They were not wearing a name tag. Then in the evening someone called saying that yes, now we can deliver the stools to you at 4pm- guarantee delivery at 4pm. Still, NO Apologies for their mistake on delivering the wrong stools.

  29. I purchased a power sofa almost a year ago, it is breaking down on one side. A tech. came out to look at it and said one of the mechanisms was bent. I was told they would replace the mechanism and build up the frame. When I called customer service and spoke to Gary he said that was all they would do. I don't see anyway this is going to make the seat not sag, plus I have to be without a sofa for 3 to 5 days. I told him there is a year warranty on this and he said only to repair it not replace it. I told him there is nothing that states that, he said that was all they could do. Catnnapper who makes the sofa has a lifetime warranty on the springs, frame, mechanism, and a five year warranty on the cushions. I can't believe you will not replace this sofa with the same kind. I have shopped with you for over 40 years and I think this should be made right. Sharon
