  1. I bought an '06 Honda Civic EX and within six months took it in for thermostat and sensor problems, there were also recalls and it was under warranty. Since then I have gone to Honda dealerships and another source since 2007. I have replaced them many times and still having problems. What is really going on? Is there something deeper going on. How do I take care of this matter? Why keep replacing if it's not going to work. I have all the receipts. Does this need lawyers, need to be made known to media, or how is the corporate going to help me now?

  2. Hardine Honda in Anaheim, what a cheap sales team, with no ethics and moral values. I feel sad that Honda has given its dealership and is making profits in such indirect unethical manner.

These guys sell the car and treat you like crap. Worse is how Eric Scott and Matt behave when we visit them to clarify on the prices they charge in the one of the documents that they didn't discuss. THEY THREATENED ME AND HUSBAND THAT THEY WOULD CALL POLICE IF WE DIDN'T LEAVE THEIR PLACE. The car costed 16k on the papers they mentioned 17k such cheaters. Had they revealed the exact charges we would buy a new car. Now both our 2011 hybrid and new hybrid cost the same.
They waived our $199 insurance for a month but not on papers. Silly $199 for a month when its costing $123 for a year.
We are duped because we went by the name "honda". They have no customer service.Pathetic ! Inhuman creatures work associating themselves with Honda.

  3. Dear Honda Team,

Take a few minutes out to read this mail very diligently.

God forbid if you are ever harassed, annoyed & left in most agonizing situation

I have given my HONDA CRV to your dealer Harmony Honda in Chandigarh, nearly three days ago for repairs as Diesel was wrongly filled in my Petrol Car, (another tormenting sad story) for normal full tank draining & cleaning which they have billed me for crazy yet exorbitant Rs. 18000/- INR which is so very unjust and so damn exploiting in a severe situation when I cannot spit or swallow but stuck for good......

Further more I have kept fanatically chasing them for service status & delivery details, which they reluctantly confirmed & provided facts, some time they said that there is a employees strike in their premises and that my vehicle will not be given until another next four to five days. But today itself, I have learnt in the news papers that their entire building has been seized & sealed by local Municipal Corporation for construction violations and my vehicle will come back to me.....when....sadly, no one knows.

I ask, urge, plead, request with bended knees & folded hands, lump in throat, moist eyes....whats my mistake. I request the reader, concerned official, if they you worth your salt, if your words are your bond, if you even slightly or a bit of little respect the Honda's ethos, values, mission & vision.....please intervene, expedite & address my problem. I am so depressed, dejected & demoralized that even words too have run out to express my aggrieved grief.

I look forward to hearing from you......

    Deeply aggrieved,
Honda Patron & still loyal customer,

    Sanal

  4. Dear Mr. Ralph Calvo:

Thank you for your email. However, I strongly doubt if you could ever help me.

Last June 22, 2014, I was at Norm Reeves Honda to find out if I could trade in my 2013 Honda Accord Sport to get a new Civic LX, so I could at least lower my monthly payment from $382. Surprisingly, I was told I could no do a lease, only another purchase, so the monthly would be higher for the new Civic LX than my 2013 Accord Sport.

So, I did not pursue for the Civic LX. However, I notice the Norm Reeves appraisal of my 2013 Accord Sport was only $15,500 (KBB.com) at 23,339 miles.

But when I got home, I double check the trade in value on KBB.com at 23,500 miles, the result was $18,275..

The difference is significant, no wonder I would pay more for the Civic LX. Thank goodness, I would have been shorted by almost $3,000, had I purchased the Civic LX. Is this unjust appraisal pricing I get for my being a loyal customer since 2004? I thought to myself, I already did this 3 times, 2005, 2008, & 2012, and wonder did I get a fair appraisal during those trade-in's?

Besides this, I am pre-approved up to $40,000 by my bank at 1.99%, which is way below the Norm Reeves quoted APR of 2.90%.

At this time, I don't ever want to go Norm Reeves, until I am convinced that there is certain degree of fairness in appraisal of trade in, not just getting a better deal.

    Sincerely,

    Romeo C. Villanueva

    4. Some comments on this site are negative. I want to post something positive about my dealer, Big Star Honda of Houston (formerly David McDavid). Big Star Honda's service department has always provided me with outstanding service and never had to return my vehicle because of flawed workmanship. I'm going to purchase a new vehicle from Big Star Honda, not because of their sales department, it's because I rate their service department A plus and the dealership is close to my residence.

  5. Do not go to Big Star Honda of Houston, Texas!!! I get a call stating you wanted to buy my car because you had a regular customer that was looking for a particular year, make and model. I was told you would give top dollar and I explained it was not in top condition. The girl insisted I came down and I would not be disappointed in the offer and they could set me up in a new vehicle of the same model for the same payment. I took my valuable time to drive an hour from work in traffic to be there and everything changed when I got there. I have to say you are running a good scam. I did not fall for it though. I had been up since 6AM that morning and was very tired. Of course my car was what you wanted but it needed more than expected, surprise!!!!! Bullshit!!! You then offer to buy it for $6,000.00 less than what I owe and proceed to try to put me in a newer model with less options for a payment of $220.00 more than what I am paying!!! Now I have to drive 50+ miles home and I am not happy at all, I did not even want to sell my car but your people insisted I would be in a newer model and paying the same amount. Like I said what a scam!!! I have told all my friends and relatives about your dealership and believe me not one thing is positive. You took my valuable time and wasted it and I used close to a 1/4 of a tank of my gas, thank God it's a hybrid wasting my time. I thought it was to good to be true and it was!!! Your people are misleading, dishonest and most of all they don't even have knowledge of the vehicles. Very upset and very displeased!!!!! You are a terrible dealership and should not being selling "Honda Vehicles".

  6. I had the very same thing happen in a Maryland dealership. They show you a new car that coast more then I want to spend, but if I get a good deal on the trade in it will be ok. Then you get to speak to the money man. He gives you a line of BS and then lowers the boom. My car is not worth as much as we were first told. It was worth 6K less then we were first told. I think you may be right Gerald it appears to be a scam.

  7. I have always been a Honda customer and will go somewhere else like Toyota (?) when I buy a new car. My 2011 Honda Fit was made and assembled in Japan and I won't have it any other way next time. It's the Japan in Honda that makes it a Honda. Could someone pass this on to Honda Japan hdqtrs.? I am very serious with this message. Show them what happened to J. Crew when they F--- with a good product!

  8. I am writing to let Honda Dealers know that I brought a 1999 Honda accord at butler honda dealers in Milledgeville Ga. drove it right off the parking lot. I am still driving that honda today!! It has 0ver 340,000 miles on it, It has been a darn good car, my second one, the other I traded in it had 247,000 miles. I am now retired and on social security. I am 66 years old. I sure hope this honda holds up for the rest of my life, cause I surely can't buy one with my income. but i see the new ones around they sure are beautiful and I am differently sold on honda. The paint is peeling off the hood and mirrors and the wheels beginning to look bad. but over all it's been a great car. just saying, cause a lot of people can't say that they have this many miles on their car, Thank you for your time. if any questions about my Betsy I name her just give me a call, 478 357 4758

  14. I've been trying to get a truck - until my 2007 Honda Ridgeline gets the airbags fixed. Honda North - in Butler Pa. said they would only lend me a car... I need a truck with a tow package. They left me with no choice but to continue driving my Ridgeline... and hope I don't have an accident.
