I went to the Golden Corral in Cordele,Ga for lunch today with a couple of friends.I will not not returning.The food was great and service was okay,but the manager was very unprofessional and rude.I didn't get to get his name but,he was a short stout man with a bad attitude problem that should not be running a business.

  2. This July, 2013, I was dining at the Golden Corral in Cordele, Georgia located 2110 16th Avenue East and a rat came out into the dining area. Everyone in the area screamed and immediately stopped eating calling for a manager. The waitress Denys said they have rodents because they serve fresh food. The manager, Michelle Murray took a long time to come out and when she finally came over she apologized saying they get rodents because of former sheds in a field next to them. They set traps in the field but the rodents still get in. She said could not give anyone a refund because her GM, Don Williams is a jerk and would not allow her. So she gave us some soon to be expiring $1.00 off coupons for the next visit. Yeah right! Like that's going to happen. She said she callef an exterminator. They were all rude and very unprofessional. After searching out the GM, Don he said Michelle was lying that he did not know that a rat came out. He is a short stout man and he is a very rude man and unprofessional one. Not condoning Michelle's poor conduct of verbally demeaning her boss in front of customers by saying he doesn't care and calling him a jerk but he really did fit the description. He refused to give everyone a refund and they never quarantined the area where the rat was and still took people money allowing them dine where rodents were present. Big problem for Golden Corral, bad sanitation, service, management and attitudes. Don said he had the place exterminated the night before. My question is why are you still serving food when you know you have rats and why haven't the Health Dept. caught this? Piece of advice for GC, fire the exterminator, get rid of the rats in the restaurant before you serve anymore food and get rid of the rats in your management and staff before you serve anymore people. We left and will never eat at another Golden Corral. Bad experience and terrible memory.

I went to golden corral today at dinner time everything was great but one thing the cashier wasn't herself at all she look so sick & she shouldn't be working when she is sick but when I ask her why didn't you call out? She said she did but her manager call in so look so bad & that is not the manager who shouldn't do that he have no care in a world but his money I'm sorry but that just not right at all the one I went to is the killeen golden corral if he can't take care of his employees or the customers not getting sick then he shouldn't b working there!!!!!!!!!!

  5. when are you finally going to put a store in southern ct??? we all want you here...i dont believe sonic is here in milford..there the worse!!! you need to put one in milford or orange ct...that area is a real hot spot...we would eat there at least twice a week..used to live in west virgina and ate there

  6. Took my Family to dinner at the Golden Corral at Clarksville, Indiana location. I paid for my bill with a debit card. It was swiped twice obviously, but i was only given one receipt. My bank sent me a fraud alert, or I would have never known. I called my bank to see what the alert was for....sure enough there was the double transaction for my dinner. So, I call the Golden Corral, they didn't believe me. I was told by their manager...if you were charged twice, you would have been given another receipt. I explained that my bank and i went through all the transactions and i was charged twice. I told her i didn't Care if i was given a receipt for the second transaction! It came out of my account, and I offered to show her my bank statement. Which, by the way, I lived an hour away from the restaurant. She just said, oh well its my rush hour time here in the restaurant. I can't help you right now. You'll have to call the corporate office anyway. She have me the number, which you need an extension to talk to a human. I was charged $64 twice for one dinner! Quite a little money scam they got going on there for themselves. Don't EVER pay for your dinner with a debit card there!

I ate at the golden corral in orland park Ill the food was ok the steak was terrible no seasoning plain it was sooo dirty the floor look like it hasn't been clean since they open nobody came to our table to get dirty dishes when I asked the waitress/waiter I was told that wasn;t their table and they kept walking I will never go back theretoo crowded too nasty I just didn't like it I wish I can get my money back

  9. My recent experience at the Golden Corral in Anderson, South Carolina;
    I notice that the peas are dehydrated from sitting in the steam pan for well, who knows how long, so I address this issue to a server. The server tells a 'cook' behind the buffet line my observation, and is blatantly ignored. I go back to my table, and I observe an assistant manager come out to the buffet as he proceeds to stir the vegetables, I approach him and tell him that what he is doing is unprofessional. He asks me " do you mean that stirring my vegetables is unprofessional?" I say "no, but the fact that you are stirring the peas together and there are about half of them that are completely dehydrated, is". He says to me " so you are just coming up here and directly criticizing me". I say " yes,what you are doing is wrong.Those peas need to be replaced". He tells me, " you have a nice day", as he promptly walks away from me. I go back to my table and am admonished at the blatant disregard that this ass. manager has for the quality of the food that is being served to the customers. As I'm sitting there, waiting for my friend to finish her meal, I observe another 'cook' that is working the breakfast station carry a case of strawberries out of the walk-in cooler, to replenish the bowl on the salad bar. He removes them straight from the case they are shipped in and places them in the bowl, NOT once did he ever take them to the sink to rinse them. A patron that is sitting next to our table observes this same activity, and has her daughter ask if washed them, and he retorts to her that he most definitely did wash them. After a couple of minutes pass, he removes the bowl from the fruit section of the salad bar and says to the patron, "I'll wash them again if it makes you feel any better". He told her that,"he had washed them while they were in the case". I'm completely dismayed at the lack of standards that are displayed and the blatant disregard for the basic food safety and quality regulations that this restaurant continues to practice. Needless to say after these experiences as well as several others that I've observed at this establishment, I will NOT be returning to patronize this restaurant. SOMEONE OF CORPORATE STATURE SHOULD CONSIDER VISITING THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO PARTAKE AS A CUSTOMER, INCOGNITO. IF THESE ARE ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS THAT CORPORATE IS WILLING TO ALLOW, FAILURE IS NEAR

  10. I did not know what to select but Anonymous because I don't care who knows who I am and my complaint is not going to stop here if the problem is not corrected or the place shut down. It is the Golden Corral off Skyview in Kansas City, MO. I was there about a year ago and swore I would never go back but my sister was visiting from New Hampshire and she wanted to go. The last time I was there I went to get a plate and there were a whole stack of plates that only had the food scraped off of them. One can always find dirty silver ware - ALWAYS. I took the stack to the manager and he said he would take care of it. On November 4, 2015 I went back for my sister. The food was ok but there was one plate that had been setting in another plate and there was almost a complete fried egg stuck to the bottom of it. My sis went to get some ice cream and the 2 bowls stuck together. The table was dirty and the chairs were so dirty and sticky. I asked to see the manager and I think it was an assistant manager that came over. He was saying they are doing the best they can but he would tell them to change the water in the dishwasher. I said wait a minute, how do you change water in a dishwasher and he explained the dishes are put on a conveyor belt and when the water gets dirty then they change it. He said they were suppose to make sure all the food was off before putting in on the conveyor belt. I am thinking what can you expect if you run dirty dishes thru dirty water. Very unsanitary. We questioned the server about how she cleaned the tables. She said she used a cloth with spray water. We had already took wet wipes out of my purse and washed the tables down and had to use my hand sanitizer when we touched the chair. The manager repeated about 4 times that they were doing the best they could. If that is their best . . . The manager did not look professional but looked more like an auto mechanic. As we were leaving we tried to use the hand sanitizer on the wall and it was empty. My sisters and our family go out to eat a lot and I don't complain normally. I wonder how many will get sick on Veteran's Day from the unsanitary conditions and daily. I SUGGEST SOMEONE FROM CORPORATE GO IN LIKE "UNDERCOVER BOSS" AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES. IF THIS IS THE STANDARD OF CORPORATE THEN SHAME ON YOU. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THIS IS FIXED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. Oh and one other thing the "manager" told us is that they get good grades all the time when they get inspected. I don't believe that for one minute or someone is not doing their job. I would not recommend this Golden Corral to ANYONE.

  11. I am in Laredo tx and I just ate at the golden corral here and it is a joke for the price you are charging . I had breakfast and it was 12.00 and I drank water. the food was not good at all. no flavor. you should also tell your workers to not fill the fruit bar with cans a lot of people do not like caned fruit. don't know if I will eat there again. way to high for breakfast.

  12. MY FRIENDS AND I ALONG WITH MY WIFE ATE AT THE GOLDEN CORRAL IN SAN ANTONIO AT THE BANDERA RD. LOCATION. THE EMPLOYEES WERE RUDE AT THE STEAK WINDOW- THEN THERE WAS 5 HELP STANDING IN THE FLOOR BLOCKING THE WAY TO THE BUFFET- THEY NEW I WAS THERE AND STILL STOOD BS-ING . I HAD TO RAISE MY VOICE AND SAY EXCUSE ME AND THEY LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS STUPID. THE PRICING FOR SENIORS IS OUT OF SIGHT AND THE FOOD QUALITY IS NOT EQUAL TO THE PRICE. I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK TO GOLDEN CORRAL AGAIN. I CAN STAY HOME AND BE INSULTED AND IGNORED BY WIFE. I CALLED THE MGR. AND SHE DID NOT EVEN OFFER TO REFUND OUR MEAL PRICE. SHE MADE EXCUSES FOR THE MEAT GUY AND SAID SHE WOULD TALK TO THE FLOOR HELP STANDING IN THE WAY OF THE CUSTOMERS. NOT ONE TIME DID SHE SAY SHE WAS SORRY FOR OUR EXPERIENCE. I HAD NOT SEEN MY FRIEND IN 51 YEARS AND WAS OUT TO HAVE A MEAL WITH HIM AND HIS WIFE AND MINE- THANKS TO GOLDEN CORRAL AND THE RUDE JERKS OUR LAST MEAL MOST LIKELY FOR EVER WAS TURNED INTO A SHAM - WE ARE ALL 70 YEARS OLD- SO SENIORS BEWARE OF THE NUMBER 2518 STORE IN SAN ANTONIO. NEVER AGAIN- I WOULD DO WITHOUT EATING BEFORE I WENT BACK!!!

  13. My husband and I try to stay away from buffets but today I had to have blood work and since I was fasting, we thought we'd go for breakfast at Golden Corral. We've eaten the weekend breakfast and were thinking the weekday breakfast would be the same. I had pancakes and waffles on my mind and we knew that your establishment would be much cheaper than some of those "specialty" restaurants.

    $17.53 for 2 seniors who thought that was a bit high so we didn't order coffee. We should have gone to the specialty restaurant.

    Cheese grits but no plain grits. No pancakes. No waffles. No french toast (unless that garlic bread was the french toast but there was no egg coating). Egg container was empty both times I checked. Bacon was not crispy and laying in grease...both times I went up there were only a few pieces available anyway.

    I didn't see any butter or jelly for the biscuit but they looked so dry I passed them up.

    The fried pork chops were dry on the inside and oily on the outside.

    I can't speak for the baked ham as there was nobody there to carve it...the whole time we were there.

    I walked by and saw the pasta floating in water. I know you don't want it to dry out but floating?

    I wanted 2 fried chicken wings but there were none. There was fried chicken but no wings. That container was plenty full...thighs and legs. What happen to the top 2 pieces?

    I saw the fried catfish and though I didn't have any grits, I got one piece. Good thing I like the batter because that's about all there was. Batter. How thin can catfish be sliced?

    I know your desserts are way to sweet to me and the cookies always look store bought and the pudding looked instant.

    We walked out of the restaurant and there was McDonald's right across the street. Wish I'd had an egg McMuffin. I loved them, would have been full and saved a lot of money.

  16. I received a free coupon for a free dinner at Golden Corral on East Freeway in Houston. I took the coupon in and went to a cashier who did not know what to do with it so they sent me to another cashier that told to just go on and get my dinner I told her I had a drink and did not want to cheat them so she charged me for the drink and I went in to get my table and my dinner when I went to get my dinner most of the trays were empty with no food in them and know one was in a hurry to try and refill them. Understand it was a Sunday afternoon around 1:00 P.M.. I waited in line for a piece of steak and 6 people jumped in line in front of me when I finally got up to the front the lady cooking the steaks asked me how I wanted my steak very rudely and when I told her she said it would take about 5 minutes or so and I told her no problem and waited off to the side when my steak got finished she just held it up in the air to see if what she cooked was okay and I thanked her and said it was fine. The place was a total mess they put dirty drink cups out without checking them to see if they were clean as well as plates and silverware. The waitress did not want to wait on you I was there 30 minutes before anyone asked if I needed anything. The corporate office really needs to visit the place it is a disaster. Some food hot some luke warm or no food in trays at all. Very disappointed customer. I do want to say thank you for the Birthday coupon but I have had this happen to me when I pay or if I have a coupon. STAFF VERY UNFRIENDLY AND RUDE.
