  1. Training is realy needed in florida;
    1.) I received a check after I placed my order and received a glass of water. (west Palm Beach).
    2.) My bill was $10.59. I gave the waiter $20.00 he returned with my change == or should I say part of my change = = he gave me $9.00.

    I left him a $2.00 tip ----but when he returned I asked him about my change. (just for the principal of it) He said "I don't carry change with me and if you wanted change you should have said so before when you gave me your money." Why would anyone thing they have the right to take my change. (community Drive, Fl)
    TRAINING IS REALY NEEDED WITH YOUR WAITERS.
    THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE WITH OTHER WAITERS/WAITRESS.
    I WILL TRY ANOTHER LOCATION MAYBE IT WILL BE DIFFERANCE.

  2. At Duffy's in Royal Palm Beach (Southern Blvd w/Crestwood). Both my husband and I ordered FISH AND CHIPS. The menu states that customer has a choice of one side order. I ordered grilled zucchini. The waiter then proceeds to tell me that I have a choice of 2 side orders. I point to the menu where it states one side order. He says no - choice of 2. I order the plantanos along w/zucchini. HOWEVER - he fails to explain that the chips will be replaced by one of the 2 side orders. When we asked and pointed that there were no chips on the Fish and Chips he said "that was just the name of the dish" and the chips were actually a side order. I NEVER HAD FISH AND CHIPS WITHOUT THE CHIPS. What are you people doing? what is going on with the training of your employees? The whole episode was so weird that both my husband and I came home puzzling over this. You guys blew it, huge time. Shame on you. I'll make sure the food writers at the Post get a copy of this.

  3. There is a food runner/bar backe by the name of. Hamilton Marshall at the plantation location who we absolutely love. He is so professional, friendly, helpful and quick! Why isn't he a head waiter or Manager I just don't know. It is a shame you do not acknowledge him. He runs circles around most employees there. You have to promote him immediately. You've done away with the apple crisp don't turn your back on a gem of an employee too.

  4. Went to the one on St. Andrews in Boca Raton on Friday night. Got there at 8:30 PM, sat right away. Waiter comes over to take our order 20 minutes later. After 45 minutes, one of our party was given a bowl of chowder which would not have been bad had she not ordered chili. The kitchen guy who delivered it just looked ticked off and grabbed it back. Waited another 45 minutes, still no food. I asked one of the servers to send over the manager who did not show up. About 15 minutes later fish and chips ( 3 orders ) came out > was cold and raw inside. I guess that's why there was not many there on Friday night. Not going back to this place.

I AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT WITH ST.ANDREW IN BOCA RATON FL ///////// I order steak to go all the time NY Strip Steak every Monday at least. closest duffys to my job when they do not mess my order up it is fine but i ask for a well done steak and most the time it is bloody its always half the time good half the time bad because they mess up my order so i complained twice to a manager named Paul about this issue replaced my order fixed it but now i have issues when i order from here have not complained about a issue with my food in 3 months because dont want to have a issue with staff because i like this place during lunch time expecially when they do not mess your order up but i called today spoke to paul again because i have placed my order for a well done steak at 1:15pm arrived at duffys on st.andrews at 1:45 spoke to lady at front at 1:48 for her to get my food i waited till 2:00pm to get my food when my co-workers as well went to this duffy's to sit down left work same time as me arrived same time they have there food and there drinks before i have recieved my to go order on top of all this i came to work and my steak is medium rare not medium well not well but medium rare outside was burnt but inside was pink and bloody called spoke to paul i did not raise my voice with this guy but has a issue with me because i complained about them messing up my order before told me to lower my voice got rude with me saying i accomadate you when u have issues and so forth i told him no excuse for this and not to replace my order because i dont need a attitude when they mess my food up if i am paying good money for food it should come the way i order i could understand if they messed something small up but for them to go from well done to medium rare is a issue so now my lunch is ruined and have no food to eat except for my sides because wasted my lunch time at this duffys waiting for my food and no time to go anywere else to get my food ///////////////////// THANK YOU DUFFYS maybe ill go to the one at claiments at lunch time out my way maybe i will not have this issue with these rude people that cannot get a order correct and if this manager sees this post he will no who i am if i decide to go back to this location hopefully i will not have spit in my food

  5. I like eating the wings at Duffys. However, in some occasions when I order kids meals and apples on the side, they serve them so poorly, cut into tiny pieces floating in water. This is not fruit, this is an insult to a child and the parent that pays for it. Duffys must learn how to serve kids fruits instead of wanting to serve rotten fruit. In two occasions at the same Duffys on Boynton Beach and Jog, my daughter was served the first time, apples that tasted 'gross'. The second time again, the apples were still served rotten. In addition, when the carrots were brought with the wing order, I could taste as if they were placed in the refrigerator for weeks. They were edible, yet I could taste the bad flavor of unfresh food. As well as the chicken tenders, one of them were served cold as if cooked but left out for a while, meanwhile the rest were okay. Which I thought was very inconsistent. We are not returning to any Duffys again.

  6. Let me just say Duffy's has great food! Although depending on your location HORRIBLE service!! Went in to Boynton West (Boynton Beach BLVD and JOG RD.) location after placing a call-in order. I'm standing at the counter waiting on some type of "hello, how can I help you"....Nothing! So a senior citizen couple came in after me, standing BEHIND me and a random waitress walked up and they acknowledged them right away and seated them. Then the manager (looked like a cook because he had on an apron) came up an asked have I been helped I politely said "No, but I was standing here waiting and your waitress took that couple before me, he immediately cut me off and said "Well your food isn't ready so it will be just a minute"...OK fine! I'm heated at this point.. Then the hostess/cashier came, No eye contact or greeting just gave me my price!! I HANDED her my MVP card... she swipes it and puts it on the COUNTER... HOW RUDE!!! I didn't even receive a receipt for my order, didn't know how many points I had or NOTHING! Just RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL to the max!!! Hope someone see this and I will be posting this on there FB page!

  7. Does Duffy's encourage their Wait-Staff to STEAL from their Customers? Each time I have paid my Bill at your Sports Grills I have NEVER received my COIN change. Your staff helps themselves to this change without consent, permission, authorization, or agreement to do so from the Customer who in fact is the rightful owner of that MONEY. I know you have been made aware of this situation previously yet this practice still continues. By years end Duffy's Sports Grill and their Staff may have Stole enough COIN CHANGE from your Customers to be charged with GRAND THEFT. Wouldn't that make for great Newspaper Head Line and wonderful for business. SHAME SHAME SHAME !!!

I recently visited the south Stuart duffys and was very disappointed my steak was over cooked my French fries looked like they were refried from yesterday and the server Jessica l was very rude about the situation and when I asked to speak to a manager her response was they are very busy and will try to come out and speak to us. I will never return to this duffys or any other duffys in the future I am very disappointed and feel disrespected please no one waste your time or money at duffys

    1. When servers keep my change like that I write on the receipt that they have determined their tip amount since that money was mine and I had not given permission for them to keep it. If a server doesn't want to carry change, he/she should round up the returning change in the customer's favor, not in his/ her favor.

I was a employee at Stuart south duffys and Saturday morning Lisa spec made employees take a drug test but stated if thc is found in your system you will not be terminated but other drugs you were terminated immediately how is that fair when the last time I checked thc was still illegal in Florida is this fair and can I fight this for wrongfull termination so your employees can smoke and sell weed but other drugs are not allowed how is that a drug free work place and how is that legally fair they are singling people out i don't care about being terminated but I think if your supposedly a drug free work place then anyone with illegal drugs in there system should be terminated and why weren't the chefs and managers drug tested Lisa spec is a racist and obviously a pot head I'm glad I do not work for a company that singles indivduals out everyone should be treated the same and rules should not be bent especially drug free ones please comment on this people

I totally agree my brother is a lawyer and I would love to hear his input on this matter.I am a customer of all duffys for over ten yrs and my sin was killed in a accident by a young kid who smoked a ciggarette joint and swerved into my son in a head on crash. So if this is true I would live to know why it's okay to have marijuana in your system this drug is illegal and just as dangerous as others !! If this is a drug free work place then no drug should be tolerated with I will be getting in contact with the corporate office and Lisa spec and if this is true my family and I will not spend another dollar in any duffys locations I will have my brother the lawyer read this and respond back and thank you for sharing this information with me sincerely a former and no longer customer of duffys

      Managers would allow that to happen Someone needs To speak up about this matter and take it serious because it is a serious matter unless the managers and chefs are all smoking and selling weed themselves! Did you say Stuart south duffys a couple of lights past cove road I am also a frequent customer there and I will no longer be spending my hard earned money at a establishment that would allow such a matter to happen. Either you fire everyone that has illegal drugs in there urine or you let them all get a second chance to take another test I wonder if the owner Paul emmitt knows how this situation is being handled unless he is doing the same. You never know these days with the economy taking a crash maybe he is selling marijuana to help pay the bills someone needs to step up and take contol of this matter before it goes viral or hits the news. I don't think he would want all his customers to know how this is being handled

  12. Stop at the Duffy's in Miami while on vacation. We were sitting at the bar outside. Order a couple of Martini's and observed that the bar tender didn't add Grand Marnier to the drink that was one of the liquors. We asked if she added it and she responded that the drink didn't have that liquor. We know she was laying because we know that it does. We didn't wanted to call her out so we showed her the menu and showed her that on the menu it showed the liquor. She then said "That menu is out of date and that wrong" I said "Really!!! .... why it haven't bee update" she reply "Because management don't care" I was surprise of all the false statement that this girl was saying. So we have one drink and left. On the way out I asked for the manager and explained the situation. Shocking in his responds and cold attitude plus he was pretty young. He's reply was "Yes, this is not the first time I get complains about that girl. So what would you like me to do" I said "seriously ... I'm not going to tell you how to do your job but that's wrong when laying to the customer when is clearly in the menu" Then he said "I tell you what... Next time you stop by I will pay for a drink" and I said "Your kidding me. I can see that you have a lot to learn. Thank you" and we left. I was very disappointed because I usually frequent the Duffy's in Melbourne, FL and they prepare the drinks as advertise but what I can see that in Miami they run thing how they want to and don't care about the customer service.

  13. Stephanie Anderson is one of the worst bar tenders I've ever experienced. She gave me complete attitude and didn't even care that she gave me the wrong drink. Her reply was, u should' ve been more specific.. are u serious. I'm never going to the west Hillsboro location in coconut Creek Florida again.

  14. loyal Monday night patron of duffys at jog and okeechobbee.Unhappy about recent price bump which doesn't make it a great incentive to always choose your restaurant over other neighborhood places. Also for years have been hoping for mashed potatoes instead of baked potato on Monday night. What is the problem,it is frustrating. I would also like to single out an outstanding employee named Stefan,who saved the day when no coleslaw was available..He created his own blend of coleslaw which exceeded your usual.I think management should inquire about his recipe,it was delicious.To sum it all up I will still patronize your establishment but not on a weekly basis due to price and no mashed potatoes.Yours truly

  16. Duffy's Deerfield beach-federal hwy. we leave across street so Although I never tought their service was great( really depends who serves you) In one year I became a MVP member. Last night I had enough and I can guarantee they will never see us again. We order our first round of beer that took forever, by the time appetizers came we waited at least 15 minutes to find a staff member so we could tell them that my order of wings was wrong and we all needed our second round of drinks. Finally I went for a walk around the place to find out that half of the staff was doing side work and the other half incluiding the manager was sitting on a table watching videos on their phone. When my dinner came out I could tell that my chicken breast went staight from the freezer to the microwave. Not to mention the flat coke, never got refills on water, never got the lime I asked to hide the nasty taste from my syrupy diet coke. They did pick up the tab to appologize for their bad service but we do not go out looking from a free meal we go out looking for good food, good service and good time. Duffy's Deerfield beach you just lost another costumer.

  17. Duffy's NMB. Terribly rude and unfriendly waitress at the outside bar. This was not the first time. We ordered premium beer. No problem. But she just took it upon herself to bring more and more beer without even asking. She was also very rude to several other patrons -- The techno music is horrible especially considering this Duffy's sits on the water! You would think a more tropical (maybe Jimmy Buffet type) music is appropriate. Funny how they said they are located on South Beach .. I have lived here all my life and this Duffy's is no where near South Beach! They cater to the very young crowd when it is the somewhat older generation (35+) who patronize them! Oh, and the girl DJ with the PINK hair who plays that awful techno music needs to go! Are you listening Duffy's HQ???? We are not the only ones complaining .. we are very loyal MVP members but we're getting tired of the rude bar tenders (we tip VERY well btw) and crazy techno music ... it's an OUTSIDE on the water bar with boats .. pay attention...............

  18. A new Duffy's just opened in Orlando and we love it. We have been several times and have never had a rude server. Our food has always been perfect. The manager is extremely friendly and by his attitude he loves his job. This will be a restaurant that we will frequent often.

Well I don't often have cause to complain, Its Independence day its 3.20pm in the afternoon there are 17 customers in Duffys on Okeechobee and Jog its my favorite place I ordered a fish dip at 3,28pm simple you would think its now 4.00.pm no show on the fish dip. I am an MVP member I spent a $11,000.00 there in the last year somebody needs to wake up this is very disappointing and certainly not good enough.

    I have been a long time customer of your NMB location next to the sunny Isles bridge and I have to bring this to your attention .
    Your outside bar is completely and utterly filthy, it looks as if it has not been cleaned in years. All the stainless steel that is where your bottled beers are kept are pitted, rusted and rotting away.
    The entire inside of the bar is filled with fruit flies and more filth and the thought of even ordering food outside from this bar makes me sick.
    The beer taps and its area are also filthy dirty and have not ever been wiped down and is completely atrocious?
    Who is running this place? When a customer sits at your bar and sees filth right in his or her face one must ask what the hell is going on in the kitchen?? So please tell your bar staff to get some comet and some chrome polish and get there acts in gear or just close this place down. Sincerely yours a loyal customer..

  23. I think you should close your NMB location if you think its normal to have rude bartenders, cold food and a filthy filthy dirty outside bar.. Go get some comet and bleach at the winn dixi and clean this place. Oyah and the water backing up from the sewer into the inside bar is also getting a little gross too. Just close already and let them build there condominiums..

  24. My wife and I eat at your Boynton Beach establishment twice a week, We love the food and adore the service. Sadly however, I'm not going back.
    How dare you exhibit a few photos of Lance Armstrong alongside of some of the greatest sports icons in the world. Perhaps you think it's OK because the caption beneath reads "Cancer Survivor". I don;t care if he survived the plague. It's sickening to see children looking up to his photo in admiration
    I'm not only going to stop eating there but I'm going to make my disgust known on social media and encourage others to follow my lead.

  26. My family and I went to dinner at the Royal Palm Beach Location. The service was extremely terrible. We had to ask for plates, silverware, napkins and drinks. Our waiter, who wasn't wearing a name tag was very inconsiderate and always walked away when we were trying to talk to him. The food was mediocre at best. But the worst part was when it came time to pay. We had $20.00 on our duffy's card and the bill was $99.00. So the new bill was $78.00 (their math not mine) we had a $50 gift card which they took and swiped. Then they came back and said we still owed $78.00. So they used our gift card and and our debit card and charged us twice. The manager's name was Joe and he was rude and was not helpful at all. He claimed that it was a misunderstanding and he couldn't do anything about it. We told him about the terrible service and how our appetizers didn't come before the entrées and the waiter said he didn't know appetizers were supposed to come first. As we were walking out the manager cockily said "come back tomorrow night and I will buy you dinner" almost as if he meant yeah f you don't come back. We are very disappointed and will never return to another Duffy's restaurant.
