  1. I was on the Celebrity Solstice from 14th of October to 26th of October and I am sorry to report that one of my necklaces was stolen from my cabin 1027 in the last week on board It was not terribly expensive but it was unusual and now I do not have it Dianne Brennan

  2. There have been several news articles about cruise ships not being allowed to enter Argentina ports and ships that visit the Falkland Islands will not be allowed to enter Argentina ports. Is this correct and if so how does it effect Infinity cruises out of Buenos Aires in February

  3. Purchased Alaska cruise to Alaska to travel with my family that resident in Russia. However; all Alaskan cruises make one small stop in Canada. Canadian Embassy all nationwide striking since June 11. Nobody could get Canadian visa. I hope that Cruise ship lines send a letter of protest to Canadian government, but they only recommended to return the tickets with penalty.
My sister and her husband got USA visa without problem, this is something unheard.
Canadian Embassy ruin nice travel experience.

  4. We just disembarked from the Celebrity Silhouette on March 2. My wife was very sick the morning of disembarkation and in the haste of trying to take care of her, pack our last few things and be out of our stateroom we left my son's stuffed bear behind. He has had this bear since the day he was born and it has been on every family vacation. The sentimental value is incalcuable. We have contacted Celebrity. The people have been very nice but we run into a stonewall whenever we ask why they can't go to Guest Services on the ship and check with our stateroom attendant. Cabin 9358 (Nicole). We get the story that it was not in the lost items that came off the ship but most disconcerting is the fact that items such as this are generally not returned for health and safety concerns. To me this is a crock. These people clean toilets, handle dirty linen etc. If this is Celebrity's policy it is something they should review. Articles can be replaced and are generally insured. Sentiment and memories cannot.

  5. I am booked on Alaska Aug 15,2014 cruise. I want to speak to a manager immediately, not a customer service rep. I have spent hours trying to get into my acct. I have been left on hold every time I ask for a manager. No one has been able to help me. Is there a manager at celebrity who cares about a 79 yr old man who has received no help from anyone. I want to speak to manager or I will cancel this trip with Cause. My Id is8732248 My phone number is 732-278-2686

  6. Dear Summit Cruise Line let me say what a God give haven you were for my husband and I. We were on our 40th anniversary and first honeymoon . We so looked forward to getting this trip. But our plane left us in Atlanta Game with no way to get to the ship. So we had to fly to Barbados to wait for the ship in two & 1/2 days. Delta Air said they would take care of every thing for us since it was their fault. So we believed them. When we arrived in Barbados they new nothing about it. So Barbados would not let us into the country unless we had some where to stay. No clothes, no hotel no food a very nice man hear our panic and offered to help us find a (motel) we are thankful but the motel was in the very very bad part of town, we were so scared for 2&1/2 days till we could get on the Summit, Then we felt safe and the food and company was fantastic! We hope many someday when we can afford we will try this again. We love the Summit cruise!

    1. Ditto on the poor customer service. No more celebrity. And from now on I will only use a certified travel agent to handle my travel plans.

    2. Same terrible customer service. Wonderful service if everything is OK, but switches once one expresses dissatisfaction with anything. They speak over you and don't listen even when you ask them to please just listen to my concerns. Rigid and unbending to customer concerns.

  9. Used to love Celebrity, still do except for Solstice class ships. We like to dance before dinner and seems the concept of "foyer dancing" doesn't work for us or lots of other folks from what I hear and read. Small floor, guys in flip flops/tees cutting across floor, photo sessions conflicting with dance. I noted Cruise Critic comments same as mine last month or so. Not sure what's going on with Celebrity but am sure you are running off some clients.

  10. It is now 8/8/2015. For the last few days, I was looking at the April 10-23, 2016 13 night Capital Cities Cruise on the Silhouette. The rate is $749 pp. I am a solo traveler. So, twice the $749 is $1498, but whenever I attempted to purchase the rate increased by $280 to $1778. Two very nice customer service agents gave me 2 different and illogical explanations to account for the website doing this. What's up with the difference?.

    1. Did you understand that there are port charges, taxes and fees to be added? It is right on the website ... I hope you had a great sailing if you took it..

  11. Booked a 10/8/16 European cruise on the Constellation 2/26/15 with final payment due 6/26/17. I have booking confirmation in my hand to prove. When she tried to pay the balance, she was told that they had cancelled my reservation on 6/25/16. Spoke to their resolution team twice. What a joke. They are unwilling to do anything. 1st. and last time to use Celebrity and never again on RCL.

  12. We are both members of the Captains' Club. However, Celebrity continues to send emails and written correspondence addressed only to my husband. I have brought this to their attention and the practice continues. How inconsiderate of a large corporation ( with a woman president) to insult me every time they omit me from their correspondence. I make the travel plans, not my husband, so their practices have cost them a customer.

  13. fresh off an an Alaskan cruise, aug. 5-12, 2016, on the solstice. great ship & crew. no complaints other than the way they use the main foyer area as a dance floor & the very limited selection of sugar free desserts. my wife & I like to ballroom dance. only one, 2 hour session was offered, more if you consider the ridiculous idea of dancing in the congregation area of the ship foyer. there was only one type of sugar free cookie & a single flavor of ice cream per day. while in port in Skagway there wasn't even that. one evening after dinner, they offered a very tasty cherries jubilee with ice cream on top. delicious. other than that my only choice was again, a single flavor of ice cream and a cookie.

  14. I have cruised on Princess at least 10 times and all was okay until the last cruise where I swore never to go on another Princess cruise ever again.

I would like information sent to me about Celebrity. Please mail me your brochures and books with information where you sail to. My contact information is:

I am a travel agent and would like to know what your commission is for agent travel. My agency is KHM Travel, and my independent travel allows me to maintain the commission in full if I make arrangements through them.

I live in a retirement community for seniors in Henderson, NV. We have 7000 homes and 13,000 people living here. I would like to set up a group tour in the future through Celebrity.

Does Celebrity offer discounts to stockholders like Princess does?

Please send me all of your information at the above address.

    Thank you,
    E. V. Lapin
