  3. I'd like to chime in about this automatic $60 withdrawal from my bank account. NOWHERE on the pages leading up to the form on which a customer is asked for payment info, home address, etc. is there ANY reference to this "deposit." Some of us--perhaps not the owners of QuiBids--can't afford to have $60 sucked out of our accounts INSTANTLY without having been informed about our options (number of bids in various packages). Why is it possible for you to make my funds unavailable to me in SECONDS but I won't see that money in my account again for 5 business days when promised an "immediate refund" by customer service? Where do you get the impunity to conduct business in such a highly questionable, unethical way? The email I received read "We refunded your purchase for Order #_______ for $60.00 USD" (notice: past tense--i.e. it has been done) but then the message goes on to provide the following discouraging info: "Please allow up to five business days for this refund to appear in your bank account. If the refund hasn't registered by the sixth business day, or if you have any questions or concerns regarding this transaction, please contact Customer Support and provide them with the following reference number..." Like another who commented on this business practice, I will NEVER use this site or refer anyone I know to it.

  4. Won/purchased, four Canadian Tire $50.00 gift cards back on the 22nd of June 2013. Today is August the 7th, and I'm still waiting for these gift cards. Quibids staff tell me they where lost in the mail, but when I ask them why or how the post office is only loosing Canadian Tire gift cards, as all other gift cards have arrived by snail mail, takes the full 15 business days, they have no answer. It seems, some how, Canada Post is able to tell what is in the envelope and looses only Canadian Tire cards. Does Quibids really expect me to believe this excuse ?? I don't blame the help staff, this is the lie they have been taught to tell customers. When I am lucky enough to receive one of the other gift cards, I look at the post stamp on the envelope, and sure enough, it took the post office only two to three days to deliver, despite the fact that I received an E Mail from Quibids telling me the card went in the mail weeks ago. So what is the real problem Quibids, with the gift card snail mail ?????? I doubt very much I'll get an honest answer from anyone at Quibids, if I get an answer at all. Almost two months and I'm still waiting for these cards. I could have gone to Canadian Tire and purchased them myself, as another one of their excuses is that their supplier is having problems getting the cards. I doubt very much, Canadian Tire has a shortage of their gift cards at any of their stores. Great way to treat customers Quibids qwert54321

  5. I agree with the above about refunds. Quibids want their money immediately, but when there is a problem, it's just excuse after excuse. Wait the five days, wait the 15 days, what ever, but when the wait time runs out, Quibids have the gall to ask you to keep waiting, give it more time, it's the post office, it's the suppler, and on and on. Not a very good company to deal with. Slow as slow as possible when the money or goods are being sent to the customer.
