  1. This is a concerned guest, I worked at Arbys on Shaver Rd. for 6 years and reported drug use between two managers (Kasey Reid and Candace Manderfield) and one employee (Crystal Ray) who know work at Arbys on Westnedge together in the same positions. Who were fired for failed drug test and admitting to bringing drugs to work. I took a drug test as well and was told I couldnt see my results which my urine was too clean. I quit due to all the drama there and tellin the right authorite, so for me doing the right thing and everyone else being rewarded for doing the wrong things. I would just like to be aware of who is running the stores which is full of drug addicts and still to this day! Im without a job for 6 months and people that do drugs get hired right back in after getting a reference from the manager that fired them in the first place!

  2. I would like to share a VERY Disapointing Visit to a Arby's in kalamazoo, Mi. 5333 Westnedge ave. Myself and my Children were witness's of the most Hostile and Voger Manager ever during our visit. I believe her name was Crystal could be the same Crystal in the story comment above, But This Lady was a absolute Looney!! She was yelling repeately at her staff, actually calling one nice gentleman a IDIOT!! When we tryed to place our order, She told my 6 yr old Daughter to speak up and quit mummbling, she could'nt understand her!! she was running around like she was on some kind of drug, Her eye's wer bigger than half dollars!!! she was pale white and just throwing things around, she was even throwing fries and chicken in the cooking baskets with her BARE HANDS!!! My Son even said Mom she's supposed to have gloves on ain't she. I was Appauld!! other guest were shaking there heads and laughing at the way she was acting!! To me it was'nt funny, i wanted to say something but she was acting so wierd that she may have done something drastic! I will never take my children in this establishment again! the next time i visit it and she runs her mouth, you will be minus one staff person!!! Unless you intend on doing something about this matter. She doe'snt belong in a customer service position, I sure would'nt want to work for her! the poor staff was riddled by abuse the whole time we were there!! Un fricking believable!!!!

  5. My husband and I were in Worthington, Ohio yesterday, September 4, 2012. We were on High Street and saw an Arby's and decided to stop. I always carry Antibacterial wipes with me to wipe off the table. I do this everywhere we go. I could not believe how filthy the table was. I don't think the edge of the table had ever been cleaned. The dirt was caked on the edge of the table. We used four Antibacterial wipes to clean the crud off the table edge. The employees had to see us cleaning the table. They didn't pay any attention. The wipes were black when we stopped using them. As we looked around we could see all of the tables were the same filthy mess. We go to Arby's on Maple Avenue in Zanesville frequently and their tables have never been this filthy. I wipe the tables off because that is what I do everywhere I go to prevent spreading germs. After we tried to clean the filth off the edge of the table, my husband thought about taking the wipes up to the counter and showing them, but we decided not to. Maybe we should have. It was very clear that no one who worked in that place cared about cleaning. My husband happened to notice that Bob Evans and Target were both across the street. We left and went to Target. We sat down at one of tables and it wasn't filthy. I still wiped the table off to prevent any illness due to germs. We will never to to Arby's on High St. in Worthington again. It is still hard to believe that everyone in that Arby's is too lazy to clean the tables. Are we the only people who notice filth? Things like this is what make people sick. Something needs to be done to make those people aware that they need to start cleaning.

    1. Why did you stay?

      Delete
    2. Well you need to remember you always do have the option of not being lazy and staying home to eat. If you are that afraid of catching something then that would be your best option. Don't forget that anytime you go out to eat the workers in the establishment are providing you a service by preparing your meal.

      Delete
    3. Yes you are providing a service......glad you realize at least that. With that service you are providing and being paid for, the customer has the right to expect to have a clean space to eat in, and food that has been cooked in a clean manner. If you feel you are not paid enough to provide a clean space perhaps you are the person who should leave.....and find a place that you can work which lives up to your expectations of a pig sty.

      Delete
    4. omg someone actually thought you should stay home instead of expecting a clean table when you go out to eat? People are ridiculous!

  6. I went to the Porter, Tx store yesterday to get a free chicken sandwich Arbys was offering. I was told that if I didn't have a print out of the offer or an email on my phone that they were not honoring the free sandwich!!!!
The mgr. said that in the drive thru that only one would be accepted per car... even if you had print out!!! That the free sandwiches was for adults only... not children!!!!
Mgr said she was unaware of any promotions?? How can you be a Mgr and NOT know what is going on??!!!
Needless to say, My family will NOT be going to Arbys again!

    1. I work for Arby's myself. Just a friendly reminder, not all Arby's are the same. It is possible that you could have visited a franchisee that was not honoring that promotion. I often run into this situation myself, however I do my best to honor the promotion or couple special and still stay in the guidelines that are put in place by my restaurants owner.

      Delete
    2. I also work at an Arby's which is a franchise store. We always honor any coupons our customers bring in. It doesn't matter if it's from a corporate store or not. It's all about customer service. And as an assistant manager I'm proud to provide my customers the absolute best service I can.

  7. What kind of Arby's Roast beef joint runs out of roast beef at 7:00 PM on a Friday. You go to be shitting me... This is you "Bread and Butter" and you run our ot if at 7:00 PM on a Friday night. What kind of moron do you have as a manager at this Valparaiso Indiana store. First of all i find it hard to beleive that you ran out of roast beef simply because your product is so over priced to start with. There simply are not enough people in Valparaiso Indiana who can afford your over priced food. How could you pssibly run out of roast beef... That has go to be the dam dumbest thing i have ever heard of!

    1. You just answered you own question. If this location is low on business they will most definitely not keep excess on hand. Also everything arby's does is based on projections and as far as beef goes it takes 3-4 hours to cook so if they ran out at 7 that means at 3-4 pm they did not put roast in to cook like needed but that still may not be their fault. If the projections did not call for one to be cooked that could account for them running out.

  9. I am writing in regards to your recent commercial which I find very disturbing. In a world where there is so much violence, how can a grown man walking around with an umbrella breaking mirrors of a business increase the sales of your product? My husband and I thought that your "Good Mood Food" commercials were horrible but they keep getting worse. I don't understand how Arby's could feel that this commercial could possibly create an increase in their sales. I would expect that commercials are very expensive to create and broadcast, and feel that your marketing team should certainly be able to create something that is not so offensive. Thank you.

And I just want to say that everyday he goes in and busts his ass harder than anyone I know he also ends up doing a lot of his bosses jobs while his boss sleeps on the job leaves work wo clocking out. Yet everyday he goes into work his boss pulls him into the office and u can hear him screaming at him from way up front. The boss who is also married was having a affair with one of the workers she was from out of the u.s. and they would have screaming matches right in front of customers and throw things. And two workers were fired from there who were aslo from out of the u.s. to cover his butt. I dropped my fiance off today and right away his unprofessional boss pulls him into the back office and all u hear is him yelling at my fiance. What can corporate do if I get a hold of them. This manager should no longer be able to keep his job.; period... any answers would be wonderful. Message me at aholman0810@yahoo.com. please respond asap

  15. To whom it may concern,

I visited your Valleydale rd location in Hoover, al. on yesterday(10/07/2012) between 11:30-12:00. I ordered onion rings, jr roast beef, jr chicken sandwich without mayo, and a cup of water. The man at the window gave me the water 1 st . I took a big gulp of the water and it tasted horrible almost dirty. At that point I opened the cup to see what it looked and smelled like. It looked like water but smelled awful. My tongue instantly started feeling itchy and I started to have some stomach cramps. I informed the gentleman at the window about the water so that no one else would get the bad water. However I did keep my cup of water. As the day went on I started to feel sores in my mouth along with fever up to 101.4. I have seen my physician this morning and they confirmed I did have sores in my mouth. I am a big fan of Arby’s and actually visit about 3-4 times a week but I will be contacting my lawyer in reference to this issue. Thanks

  16. I visited your location in Hoover on valleydale road as well and I have been having the worst nausea, fever, body aches, dizziness, and cramping pains that I have ever had. I have been to the doctor 3 times and each one says that I have bacteria in my urine. I have been put on an IV and tested numerous times for an explanation to this. Missed work and my energy is almost none. I was informed by my Dr. That the bacteria has given me a UTI. I am positive I know where it came from and it was from your locations water. The health Dept, police Dept and city were all notified of this incident. I still have my receipt and I have contacted a lawyer. I eat Arby's every morning before work, but never did I image this much pain and suffering from ordering a cup of water.

  18. Really??? Your corporation fired a manager of 23 years because she escaped during a holdup? This has happened before? And NO cameras or holdup alarm was in place? So your excuse was she was in the store alone...hummmm... I never really liked Arby's and now I know I would never even consider eating there... you people should be ashamed of yourselves... so you didn't give a crap about her safety... and she should have stayed there to protect your processed "so called" roast beef! This company needs to be shut down!

  20. I just read a disturbing article about the poor woman you fired in Fairborn, Ohio for violating your policy of having at least two employees on duty at all times. I am most disturbed by the fact that despite three robberies in the past six months, you have done nothing to provide safety and security for your employees. Shame on you for not installing security cameras in your stores, especially following a crime trend.

Furthermore, after reading all of the above comments from consumers, and not finding a single favorable message for Arbys, I have decided that my family and I will not be returning to any Arbys restaurant from this point on.

By the way, I called the corporate phone number above hoping to speak with a live person about this matter, but I was placed on hold, and I finally gave up after waiting 10 minutes. No doubt no one ever answers that line. Right?

  21. How in all good faith can you allow one of the owners of an Arby's in Fairborn, OH (GZK Inc. - Mr Neil Kaufman) to be so calous as to not install security cameras in a store or an alarm system, then fire the nearly 23 year employee because she did not perhaps have a 18 y.o. in her presence so that PERHAPS both of them could have been killed by a robber.

The robber has not been found (due to NO CAMERAS) and this was the 3rd time in 6 months such a robbery took place.

    SHAME on this cheapscape ! ! !

After reading that you fired an employee who ran from an armed robbery for 'breaking policy' you have now lost a long time customer. I will personally let the store that I frequented know I will no longer support a company that treats such a long term employee in such a underhanded, and unkind manner.

Your lack of installing any safety measures to help the employees and then to fire them bespeaks a lack of a moral compass.

Your reputation is ruined with me unless you make amends in this manner.

  24. We visited the Arbys on 82nd St. Lubbock, TX on Oct. 31, 2012 at approximately 8:45 pm. We went through the drive thru and didn't get our food until 9:27pm. we would've left but there wasn't an out from the drive-thru lane and people were behind us so I couldn't back up. And they were out of Arby sauce and there was a sign that the fountain drinks were out of order. This sounds like poor management- both locally and from corporate. The kids working did their best and apologized for the delay. They said they were short handed.

  26. I was charged 23.68 "3" TIMES for one order - on 11/27/2012 at the
    Arby's: Unit #7469
    Address: 4151 ATLANTA HWY
City and Zip Code: Loganville, GA 30052
    Phone: 678-639-0202
I called to discuss it and spoke to Amber who identified herself as manager. I was told she had no way to see any sales from yesterday so I told her I would go to Cooperate. She handed the phone to someone that identified themselves as Nrtul and as a General manager. He told me he had no way to verify and sales submitted or that could be looked at from yesterday's business. Having some small business experience it appears someone is stealing at this store. I stated it appeared someone may have stolen monies and he stated that there was a computer glitch in which several customer were charged several times for order lately. If this is the case this needs to be reported to BBB and to the local news so customers can be aware to check their statements. I would have never known about this had I not noticed the 3 peat charges on my credit card! I feel I was either lied too, or you have a theif at this store. Either way I am the one out money!!
I was told the local store does not have access to records of sale the previous day and or ability to find any errors on their behalf.

  27. Hey Arbys:
concerning your 'slicing' commercial, subway is a million times better than what you have. I do like your roast beef sandwitches, but your turkey is way too expensive & tasteless. As a standard, you should make all your restaurants as good as the one in Petersburg VA. It's a 5 star fast food place. Great food, selection, and service.
Hope you'll try to get better. OH, buy the way, your tea is lousy. Subway Has Great Tea, of course, everything there is good! Maybe you should stop insulting other restaurants and try to improve your image. You sound like a political commercial. Best of luck in the future!

  28. Hello I am an Arby's employee from Iowa. I am honestly disgusted with thus corporation. The managers in my store are lazy and cut corners. I've had to work with managers that make sexually explicit comments and jokes towards their female co-workers. I've worked with the laziest employees. I go into work and am never happy because every tine I walk in I have a million things to clean up from the day shift people. Yes you guys are busy but not so busy that you can't make time to clean up your messes as opposes to leaving all of your messes for the night crew such as myself to clean. The language I've heard employees and managers use in front of customers sickens me. I've seen customers get out of their cars at the drive thru and come inside to yell at employees because the employees were rudely arguing with them. What the heck happened to the customer is always right.. seriously. I've also been reading the comments above me abd I am now officially disgusted with arbys as a whole. While you sit there and get rich....your employees and customers are miserable. And you don't care. Its sick!!! I will be looking for a new job now. You will be losing both a valued employee and a customer! I hope you guys are shown the error of your ways before you get shut down as a corporation.

  29. I visited an Arby's today in Lyman, SC. The chocolate lava cake at $2.09 looked good. After two fish sandwiches I and a friend bought I grabbed the little foil pan and was amazed at the package versus the sign on the door of the cake. I forked into it in the little foil pan and it was dry. What appeared was a small dribble of chocolate on the top probably the quivalent of a half teaspoon of pre-dribbled hard chocolate. After shaking my head at corporatism, I forked into it and the center of it was hollow. Nothing but an air void and no liquid chocolate. It reminds me of another fast food chain who is peddling small ice cream sandwich rounds for almost two dollars. These appear to be sucker purchases at a corporate price. This little pan with the dry cake reminded me of an Otis Spunkmayer muffin only smaller and with nothing but air in the center. After telling a lady at the counter of the cake, I told her uncaring attitude that I'd file with corporate of this sucker purchase I had made against a picture in the window of the product with corporate Arby's today.

When I called and spoke with a 'manager' she sounded so flustered and said she couldn't find that charge on her end and to call back in 5 mins. I called back a little while later and spoke to a "GM" who stated that sometimes their system does that. WTF? Are you kidding me? The only way I know that is was on a GREAT VALUE bun from WALMART is the guy making the fish sandwich was carrying a WALMART bag full of GREAT VALUE buns. I know the GMs name is MARY and she will be leaving the store on Sunday Feb.3, 2013 and she has her managers and assistant managers go to WALMART all the time to buy GREAT VALUE buns. She doe not order enough buns from the bread man. She needs to be fired after she leaves that store so she doesn't screw up another store like she has that one. 38. At approximately 21:37, I was issued my receipt and food for my order (Two Regular Arby's Roast Beef sandwiches, One Curly Fries, and a Salad with Roasted Turkey). I left the restaurant and drove back to my hotel (La Quinta Inn that is located within 0.25 miles. Once I returned to my room, I found that the fries were cold and tasted old. I touched evertyhing in the bag; my sandwiches were cold as well. I returned to Arby's for a refund and was abruptly told by the cashier (same one who took my order), "I can't give you a refund." I asked to speak with the Manager and the first question the manager asked was, "How long has it been since you left?" I told her the exact time of my receipt, at the time of her question, it was approximately 21:55. I explained to the manager (Brittany) that I was unsatisfied with my order being cold and that I wanted a refund. She explained to me that the food was given to me hot and that it just got cold while I was in transit. She then proceeded to say that she could exchange my food, but cannot give me a refund. My bill was $13.53 which I paid with my credit card. She gave me the name of the "Shift Manager (Ally) and said she'll be in tomorrow.

    1. Customer service is lacking by both the cashier and Manager (Brittany).
    2. As a ServSafe Food Safety Manager, it frightens me to think that Brittany would not know that simply using a heat lamp is enough to keep food at adequate temperatures and that food that is old should be used as opposed to discarded.
    3. When did Arby's begin the "No Refund" policy?

By the way, I gave the food back, because I did not want it, and of course was not issued my refund of $13.53, nor even a simple apology. Lastly, Brittany's lack of care and understanding of consumer relations should be cause enough for some reprimand/citation. Simply telling a customer that you dropped the fries in the oil prior to them being bagged isn't enough to satisfy a customer who is returning borderline chilled "hot food" items.

  39. I returned to Arby's for a refund and was abruptly told by the cashier (same one who took my order), "I can't give you a refund." 41. I wanted to get an Arby coupon. Then I saw that you use
"shop at home" for your coupon distribution.
:Shop at home is hurting your reputation as they are equivalent to a virus.

They want to add software to your kicustomers' computers... then they install games of ill repute.

It takes a lot of work to get the (*&^%H^T&** software off you computer, they let you remove the software eventually but what they do is they have a hidden file that reloads again with all the unwanted games. They may be giving you a good deal on what they do for you, but they are making your customers unhappy which is just the opposite of what it happening. Do yourself a favor, get on the phone to them right now and cancel their contract if they have one

  43. Hello, my name is Daren Lyle Johnson and I'm writing to question your companies franchisee accordance for hire. I would like to be an employee but it seems as thought acquiring employment with you is almost impossible. I live in Nashville TN. and I'm trying to apply with these stores:
3196 Dickerson Pike & Metro Center Nashville, TN. 37202 615-228-1160. I would appreciate any information you as a public entity --- corporation could give. Thanks

  44. Hi, I would like to know how a franchise store selects their employees based on the corporate nature of the stores existence. I know that a corporation is a public option of stock with A, B, & C shares. I can't see how a person applies for a temporary position over time but can never be allowed the position of placement or acceptance at some point. I myself live in Nashville, TN. General Delivery 37202 and I have applied to your 3196 Dickerson Pike store & Metro Center stores and have never been given the opportunity to work. How is this E.E.O.C possible or is it? I would appreciate a copy of any information you could supply explaining my ability to improve my hiring chances.

  45. Just read this on a blog. I have no interest in it, other than to let Corporate know...

"Bad Arby's service and possible counterfeit scam.

I'll just cut and paste what I sent to Arby's corporate offices:

Hey guys. I have a huge complaint. Last night my husband, kids and I went through the drive through at the Overland Park, KS location at 151st and Metcalf. We handed the cashier a $20 bill. The girl at the counter called over a coworker, who marked it with a counterfeit pen. He leaned out and told us it was a counterfeit bill. We were shocked, having just withdrawn the money from the bank. My husband was in disbelief and handed him another $20, which was then marked and also deemed "counterfeit". I looked at them myself through the window. The marks were clearly a yellowish brown, the normal color that valid bills produce when marked. (I use these same pens myself and am familiar with the dark brown, nearly black color produced when a counterfeit bill is marked.) The employee informed us that he could not accept the money, nor give us the bills back unless the police were called, as per Arby's corporate standards, and that *they had been having this problem 3-4 times per week on his shift*. We said ok, we had no problem calling the police, as we had no intention of just handing over $40 to some cashier without proof that they were not legal tender. My husband went inside to talk to the man. He said he did not want to call the police, he would take the bills and staple them to a piece of paper with our name and number and his manager (who would be in at 7:30am) would talk to us today. My husband told him that was unacceptable, as he felt that the cashier had pretty much just stolen our $40 from us. When the cashier heard that, he GAVE BACK one of the "counterfeit" bills, took the other and stapled it to a paper with our info. We agreed to contact the manager in the morning. My husband called at 7:30, and met with the manager outside the restaurant. The manager let us know that both of our bills were indeed legal tender and told us that the employee "needs to be retrained". At that point, another female employee arrived, noticed what they were talking about, and said, "Oh, ANOTHER one?" Really? How many other people have been essentially robbed of their hard earned dollars at this location because an employee "needs to be retrained"? No compensation has been offered to us at all. I would like to see some action taken to correct this problem immediately, please. We have been loyal customers for years, and specifically at this location for an entire year, so we were very disappointed to be treated like common criminals, and then not have anything done about it or any offer to make things right for us. Please contact me ASAP and let me know what else I can do to further contact your corporate offices. - H.M.L

(I got a call back from VP of HR in this area on Friday, and she was supposed to call me today to discuss the outcome of an investigation she launched into this, and to discuss compensation. No call back yet though. Hoping to hear from her tomorrow!)"

Hi i recently went to one of Arby's Restaurant in Oroville, Ca on May 11, 2013 and all i can say from what i see on here and my experience i can finally conclude that ALL services u corporate people provide is just about that CRAPPIEST fast food alliance EVER! Not only was my wait over 40mins my food was served to me COLD(talk about mad when you've gone hungry all day and are looking forward to something to eat that might be good)! That doesn't include my wait at the drive thru at first! After walking in and realizing that there was only 1 cashier and 1 cook trying to handle a rush of senior citizens looking for their dinner and one MAD(ME) customer asking for the manager or shift leader that had apparently left her team hanging so she could go have her break only to come back NOT to help but to go hide in the back and not care to help nor be in appropriate uniform(DISGUSTED BY THEN)! She wore a cheetah Tank Top that showed her nonwashed bra under her shirt(just about puked by then)! When asked if there was a manager or anyone on hand to speak too this "shift leader or wanna Be Manager" showed NO CONCERN what so ever and proceeded to hand the cashier a random persons number to hand to me MIND u my ears are blowing out steam by NOW and still am i could go kill this bitch thinking about it! Any who from now on i plan on turning anyone away from this place you shouldnt run a business if you cant teach your staff to dress proper in a managerial position nor alone have no self respect! Due to no respect given to me i choose to not show any respect or sincerity towards your non existent company just hurry up and shut down already. Its pretty clear your sales are down because of the lack of effort that is being put forward OH AND I WANT A REFUND CUZ I DID NOT EAT MY FOOD!!!!! @$$H0!3$

  47. My sister, daughter and I have just returned home to Norfolk, NE after traveling to south-central Nebraska this Memorial weekend. We ate 6 meals away from home, and I am furious with the dining experience of the meal I just had at the Arby's here in Norfolk. My first clue should have been that at 6:45 in the evening the trash can located right outside of the entrance door was overflowing. Mind you there were maybe 3 cars in the parking lot, so only 3 or 4 other customers in the whole place. The minute we opened the door we were greeted with the most awful odor. I'm still not sure how to describe what it was. The floor had dried mud on it as we entered to go place our order. We did receive fair customer service and our food was hot and ok, except for the King Hawaiian bun on one sandwich which was toasted burnt (my sister tells me that's the 3rd time she's experienced one of those buns being burnt at this Arby's). When we went to fill our drinks at the beverage and sauce counter it was sticky and needed some major wiping up. Then we started to look for a table to sit at to eat there. Well, the front dining area didn't have one cleaned off table at all! Mind you this place only had less than 10 customers on a Sunday night. Then we went through the main dining area and had to sit at the last couple tables in there because all the others had been eaten at sometime and no one had wiped them off. The ones we chose were sticky, but didn't appear to have crumbs and the like on them. As we ate 2 more customers came in and we overheard them saying, "dirty, dirty..." as they too looked for a place to sit that was cleaned off. I have never been so disgusted at the condition of an eating establishment as I am tonight. My daughter stepped into the restroom to check on the cleanliness in there and came back out unimpressed. All this makes me wonder just how clean the food prep area really is. As we left, my daughter, who has managed and worked in food service at a privately owned fast food establishment in Norfolk, stopped to tell the employee at the counter that all of the tables needed wiped off because they were gross, we were shocked to have her not respond at all. I guess it's good that she listened to the comment and didn't make excuses, but an apology would have been nice. It will be a long time before I step foot in that Arby's again.

  48. I am a very upset customer. Today I went to the same arbys I always go to (Unit 0899 in Westland Mi on wayne rd) and I ordered the jalapeño bites as usual. Every time I've gotten them they were awsome and that's why I alway went back. Today I order some they told me I had to pull up and wait when is fine because they had to make them. I recived my bites and I drove off home. I open my bag to eat some and I look in it the bites were all crumbled apart and crea cheese everywhere. I was pretty pissed off but didn't bother to go back. I figured since I paid $9.31 I would try to eat the mess. Underneath the few kinda whole bites it was a crumbe mess of greasy breading. I pulled out the cup from the bag holden the bites and it was absorbed with grease. The bites were just squishy and crumbely like they were heated in a microwave. Now I'm having after effect of puking!

  50. We ate at Arby's today. I had coupons to use, of which one was for free homemade potato chips. The cashier had no idea how to ring them into the register, said she would have to get someone else. Never did that, gave me our receipt with no intention of ringing it in. We ate, I sent my husband up to use it, another woman (possibly manager) said that the cashier was new and that we had to buy a sandwich! He told her we DID, the new one was right there! She gave us the "BIG" bag of free chips and I sincerely think she didn't want to! They're not that good, very spicy of some sort. Oh, and the cashier told me that she wasn't sure that they even had those chips! Gees, train your employees correctly and tell them an few seconds of their precious time isn't going to kill them......like get another one to ring out something, you watch and learn! Don't ignore my request to use one stupid little coupon!! And all that was played the whole time was black gospel type music. Guess it was in honor of Trayvon Martin like everyone in America thinks they need to do in some way?

  52. I like Arbys. I go there because up to tonight the food is exceptional. Tonight I had the most disgusting food experience I can remember. The fool making the sandwich was being an ass to the front counter helper. It was obvious he didnt know how to prepare my sandwich. Oh my God.. a turkey on a bun. He microwaved it, the bun was soggy and the meat looked old. I took it to the counter and showed it to the people there at the cash register. They offered me some cheese sauce as a way to get me to go away. This was bad and I was going to write it off as someone in training who has bad attitude and maybe this was his first night working anywhere. But, the potato cakes were under cooked and cold. I ate one. The grease was cold. I have worked in restaurants I know what the problems is. A new crew that intimidates the manager. The gut ache is still with me and I ate almost three hours ago. 58. I recently worked for the Arby's in Carmichael, CA off Madison and Manzanita. I quit there since I got a way better job offer. The district manager, Glory is so unprofessional. He said he would bring my check to Arby's for me to pick up when I said it was fine if he just mailed it. He never brought it up there. Now he is not answering any of my calls or texts and is withholding my check from me! I would not recommend anyone to work there due to not only the unprofessionalism but also all the immaturity and drama there. Nor will I ever eat there again. It is an extremely dirty establishment considering no one wears gloves when handling food or ever washes their hands. I am extremely disappointed!

  59. My 17 year old daughter has worked at Arby's location St. Matthews Louisville, KY for close to a year. Her married assistant manager is having an affair with a 16 yr old boy that works there. My daughter knew the boy and when her asst manager found out she knew of the affair the assistant manager made her do all the dirty work during shift, even called her in on her day off and handed her a bottle of bleach and made her bleach out the bottom of the trash cans made her clock out in one hour. The asst. manager made my daughter get down under a pepsi machine and clean with bleach the assistant manager shut the doors and enclosed my daughter in the small area, Another co worker gets in on the fun a shift manager calls my daughter a bitch as she is walking in for her shift. I heard the shift manager and she had no clue I was the girls mother. I called the manager and he said he would take care of it. His name is Magdy. My daughter worked last night and shift manager and asst manager my daughters register drawer was short $20. My daughters drawer has never been short in almost a year. My daughter spoke to Magdy the manager on speaker phone. When my daughter explained she was being abused by the two managers he took up for the managers and told my daughter she should not accuse others. That they were all family there. Of course the head manager knows all about the assistant manager that is married is having an affair with the 16 old kid. Their shift manager Nechoel told the crew that she smoked pot regularly and took cig breaks every 15 minutes and that was the way she run her shift. Her mother is a manager at another local store. Very twisted, not any place I want my precious daughter to work.

  62. My husband and I went to Arby's in Harborcreek , PA yesterday to grab some lunch. When we walked in and there was no one else there, the dinning room was empty. Before we ordered I went to the restroom and on my way back out I noticed a female watching the Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland game in the corner of the dining room with one leg on the floor and the other perched up on the chair in front of her (how unsanitary). When I got back to my husband who was waiting in the lobby I noticed about 4 other workers just standing there watching the TV as well. All of a sudden one of them turned the channel and upset the female in the corner watching. She started yelling and came over to the counter to grab the remote out of the other females hand meanwhile yelling, "I WILL SLIT YOUR THROAT 15 TIMES"! How inappropriate I thought as I looked to the manager standing there laughing, I seriously thought, wow, even the manager is dumb enough to just stand there and laugh with the other female workers!!!! My husband and I love Arby's and we looked at each other in shock that this had just happened in front of us (your customers). Even though we could have chose to do something or say something we decided the female that made the remark was just an immature young girl and they would probably get back to work soon. So we proceeded with our order with the only girl who had nothing but a smile on her face from the time we had walked in until we ordered. We did not see the names of the other workers but Khloe was the name of the girl who greeted us and took our order, and Khloe was the only one cleaning the dining room and checking the trash while we were there. The other females working including the manager were at the TV the whole time arguing about how to get the channel back to the game. They even stood there while bells were going off in the kitchen area. Finally the manager said to them "don't worry I will get to work" and left the other workers standing at the TV. I am glad to see how much control this manager had over here crew of females. I am also surprised that for the 30 mins we were there the same female that was at the TV from when we walked in was still there as we left. This is a shame that these days the young society finds it appropriate to slack off during work and speak in such ways that is inappropriate, in the old days would have gotten you fired on the spot. Who knows if the actual Arby's corporation even takes the time to read these complaints anyway but my hope is that the right person reads this and realizes what type of disrespectful youth you have working for your company and what type of managers you have working that do not have control over there staff. I hope this also reaches that particular store in Harborcreek, PA so they can learn from this situation and so another customer does not have to go through the same uncomfortable situation. Anyways, I really like Arby's food and will continue to dine in at times but I will not return to the Harborcreek, PA store due to this event.
    Thanks for listening:)

  64. I visited Arby's Restaurant #112, 543 W. Dixie Dr. Asheboro NC 27203 after seeing an ad on TV that said 2 Fish sandwiches for $5. Sounded like a good deal so I went there for lunch. I made my order at the drive thru and when I pulled up for my food I was then told that this deal would not be until next month. So I see you advertise something on TV in the middle of January 2014 that will not be in effect until February 2014. What moron would believe that!!!! I see that all Arby's deals are just to get you into the restaurant and then to tell you it is not in effect and to soak you for the regular prices. Arbys's USED to be a great place to eat. Now it is how deep is your wallet. No service, high prices and get ripped off too. What a great combo? I did not buy the food I drove off to a competitor of yours and purchased my lunch there for $5 because unlike your deal Arby's, their deal was real. Good luck because you are going to need it. First I'm done with you forever Arby's and if you don't get off your high and might horse and start serving your customers you will not have a business to run. You send your complaints to be handled by another company? You either are getting way to many complaints or you don't care about the complaints you are getting. Maybe both. Sorry to bother you. You see people that tell you about what happens at your restaurants are doing you a service. Asking you if you know it is going on and hoping you are customer oriented enough to respond like a customer service business should. You know I find it interesting that most of the replies here sound like corporate management trying to justify the comments as being on the outside narrow edge of society, loony, or that they were not at a participating restaurant. You see all of the comments should be a concern to Arby's corporate because unless it has not registered in your brain. Your customers are your business.

His registry shows indecent liberties with a minor, and we recognized him from seeing him on the sex offender registry for our area. It's shocking he is employed by your restaurant and we will not be returning, we left immediately. We will also alert the YMCA of this for the safety of the children there.

  69. I observed some disturbing incidents at the Arby's on 7222 I-40 West on Friday, Feb 21, at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon. We had just come from a doctor's appointment, as I am recovering from dog attack surgery. There were no other customers at the location. We went through the drive through and my friend placed our order, an Arby's roast beef max and eight piece jalapeno poppers. A woman had taken our order. We pulled to the window and a gentleman, who appeared to be the manager asked what our order was, as he neither knew the order nor could he find the woman who took the order. Mind you, there were no other customers or employees at the store. We repeated our order and after several minutes of sitting there, we were given our order, which was incorrect. My friend had ordered eight poppers, and I saw that there were five. Also, the total came up to $9.81, or something close to that, and the manager instructed the girl, whom he had finally found, to just give us $10.00 in change, as my friend had given the girl a twenty. We then found out they had no change. We drove away, after several minutes, I noticed that his jalapeno count was wrong, and my friend parked and went back in with the bag, He observed another customer get told not even to bother giving them the $7.32 that he owed them, because they had no change to give him. I cannot personally tell you if they accepted a five dollar bill or seven dollars... I was not inside with my friend. All I know is that the correct amount of money was not received from that customer. Less money was accepted. I sat in the truck for no less than ten minutes, in pain, while my friend tried to straighten out our order. They ended up giving him an entirely new order of eight pieces of jalapeno poppers, on top of what we already had, at no charge, and we drove home. I estimate our entire "quick drive through visit" lasted thirty minutes as I sat there in pain from my wound. In the past, I have considered Arby's on the upper part of the scale of fast food restaurants. I will say with certainty that I will not be returning to that particular restaurant. 70. I visited the Arbys on Atlanta Hwy./Dalraida on 3/3 @ 11:37 am and the girl on the drive thru intercom was very impatient she literally rushed me to order. I get to the window she says( $6.26). I told her I had a coupon and she sighs in a grumpy way you should of said that at the speaker. I told her if you'd listen and not rush me I was
going to tell you that. I asked to speak with a manager and she replied, I am the manager and lifted her name tag and I saw her name Marshelle.
She was very rude and lack customer experience.

  71. My husband is the only male manager in your Okmulgee Oklahoma store. The other managers Arby's and the crew treats him different because he is doing what he was trained to. He goes by what the book says. His crew are constantly trying to get in to trouble since he will make them work. The crew will go and tattle to the store manager because of this. The crew there is also very unfriendly to the customers. The District Manager will NOT do anything about it. He has also asked to be transfer to a different a different store and was told that he couldn't because they have him the way they want him to be. I think some one from either the head quarters needs to come down and watch them. I also think that they need to get all new managers and crew in that store. Maybe if someone from the head office comes down and does something about it because the district manager sure isnt to consider about losing employees. There is also a girl who thinks just because her uncle is a district manager for another area that she doesn't have to work and can play one her phone and not pay attention to the custumers. She only has her job because of him. The crew are also getting together and telling the store manager thinks that (didn't happened) they are saying it happened 3months to 4months ago. If it happened why are they waiting so long to say something. They don't like him because he will make them work and not play around. They are also telling him he needs to watch his hour but since they him closing every single night his crew takes for every to get their stuff done. He has even asked if he could have a few openings and they well I will have to see. They have a store manager who will not close, one who says she can't close because she has to get stuff done at night (she goes to school twice a week) so she can close on Saturday night. One manager who only works one day a week (one eight hour shift). The District Manager is also pushing me into becoming a manager for your Henryetta Oklahoma Store. I have told her I am going to find a job here in the town i live in (Okmulgee Oklahoma). That way I am close to my 10mon old son. They also was not going to let him leave when I had him back in May 2013. They said well can't you finish your shift first. You are losing customers because of them. I REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT AND THE CREW THERE. I am getting tried of them treating my husband differently because he is the only male manager. Since the district manager won't do any thing about it. I am going above her head and go to the head quarters and Corporate office out of tulsa Oklahoma and having you do something about it.

  72. I am sorry to hear that you no longer sell the Horsey Sauce in the 11.5 bottle. It is my favorite to put on a sandwich. Hope you will reconsider this decision.

  74. Barbara Jackson works at store 7349, I'm a regular customer at this store. Today was not a good day the manager Marty was very rude to Barbara, Marty snatched the headset off the young ladies head and was yelling, Marty is out of control and way out of line and what makes matters worst Is Jason the general manager never stepped in. Barbara serves me everyday and is always making my day as well as others. To days incident lets me know that those managers do what ever and say what ever to those employees and for some one to be violated in that manner makes no sense at all. Marty had no right snatching anything off that young lady, no right to touch her. It was a violation and someone should do something.

  75. Store number 7349 in Louisville, Marty is a rude manager and never smiles. I heard her complaining about one of the younger kids work performance and instead of talking down about him she should have been professional. Where do y'all find the management? The ones that should be manager aren't but y'all have this lady who is in a mid life crisis as management. You guys need to do something about Marty and how she treats the employees.

  76. IF I WORKED AT CORPORATE FOR ARBY'S, I'D BE ASHAMED OF THE REPORTS THAT THIS SITE IS GETTING.. GET OUT OF YOUR OFFICE, AND CHECK THE RESTAURANTS TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON!!! IF PEOPLE NEED TO BE FIRED OR RE-TRAINED, DO IT!! THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A RESTAURANT OR TREAT CUSTOMERS.

  78. Went to Arby's #6291 at 7:30 pm this evening. It was my husband and 12-year old stepdaughter's first time going to Arby's, since they lived in a small town that didn't have one nearby. I have been going to various Arby's for many years and have never had such a horrible experience. We had to wait over 10 minutes for our food at a nearly empty restaurant (there were two tables occupied of people that already had their food)...during which time, when whom I assume was the shift manager (the honestly trying young lady is listed as "Brenda" on the receipt) was trying to figure out what orders the cook was putting down the slots, I heard her ask why a chicken sandwich was wrapped as "Special" and was told, loud enough for myself and my family to to hear, several feet away, "because it's a special order, you b*tch."
When we finally got our food, my order was read out to me wrong, but at this point, we were pretty uncomfortable after listening to more verbal abuse from the cook, so we went to the car and my husband checked the bag, only to find that we were down an order of fries. My husband went back in, the fries were pretty much thrust into his hands without an apology. When we got home less than five minutes later, my roast beef sandwich was lukewarm, one order of curly fries was lukewarm and gooey, my husband's crispy chicken sandwich was soggy, my stepdaughter's chicken fingers tasted like dirty grease and were also lukewarm; her onion rings were tasteless and greasy. They asked me how I considered that good food at all, and when I explained that was not at all my previous experiences at other Arby's, my husband told me he hoped not, because what we had just eaten was not worth $22.45. I agree. I don't think I will ever be returning to this location, even though it is 2 miles from home.
As an aside, since we were all extremely hungry at that point, honestly didn't have the money to go to another establishment and did not want to return to the restaurant, we tried eating our meals anyway. My husband has been in and out of the bathroom ever since, my stomach is extremely upset and my stepdaughter is trying to sleep off her upset stomach. I am certain I won't get any response from this, but am willing to provide an email address if by some chance, someone out there is willing to address these issues: kitsunehi@yahoo.com. There is no manager listed on the receipt, no information on whom to contact about any issues or concerns.

  79. I visited the Arby's in Lavale, MD while on vacation. I must say that this establishment is the cleanest I've ever been in. The employees were very friendly, smiled and even joked around with my family. The service was amazing and the food was hot and delicious. I look forward to stopping by next year!

  80. I was a manager at Arby's restaurant in Yadkinville however on July 18th I was harassed by a coworker's husband while he was there doing an interview/new hire paperwork then he came back while I was taking out the trash where he cornered me in the trash area alone..I told my (incompetent) general manager (Carmen Brooks) the details of what happened and that as a result I did not feel safe there. She said I was "over-reacting". So I talked with the district manager he said he "was sorry that happened" and that he would "transfer me to the Statesville store with same hours I had before". Yesterday I'm told I need to fill out paperwork. Today to my disbelief im informed that I have basically been fired from the Yadkinville store, now they're taking my manager position and lowering my pay rate!! I can't help but feel this is in retaliation to my harassment complaint. I know there's laws that protect (whistle blowers) people in my position. ..please help anyway you can.
