  1. I recently purchased, what was told to me, late model 2011 Dodge Durango Crew Lux on April 20, 2012 and have yet to enjoy owning my first new vehicle. I have a 2005 Dodge Durango which is and has been a much more enjoyable vehicle! I bought the new Durango as a demo, where the dealership owners wife supposedly drove the vehicle for a few thousand miles. Here lies my first issue with my new Durango! The owners wife apparently activated the year free subscription to Sirius satellite radio, so when I called to activate it sirius tells me it's already on and that there is only about 9 1/2 remaining on it, so when I asked the dealership they stated..."we don't know anything about that and refused to fix it! First strike agonist them...mainly because the sticker included "1 free Year" not 10 months free...so first strike!! Second, they added in the lifetime warrantee for a hefty amount of money, which seems pretty good..BUT!! All they hand you is a pamphlet with several thousands of things covered.....but NO interpretation of how it is covered, nor did they did sit and explain anything....just sign and leave is their motto! When I called because I didn't understand something, the finance manager got mad and arrogant..basically telling me I am an idiot and do not listen!! I told him, "I did about the issue when asked", but then he hands me this pamphlet with no discussion. Here is the issue....I asked about some wording and he was very rude and unprofessional!! I tried to be polite, but when I called him out he got pissed and hung up! Lastly, back to this radio....it doesn't work, and that wasn't reported to the service department. It's been almost a month since I purchased it and it's still not fixed. I am very disappointed with my first new purchase ever!! I will not ever recommend this dealership in Newport, TN to anyone....EVER! It's the worst I have ever seen of unprofessionalism from what is supposed to be a professional and kind atmosphere!! And if my new dodge does not get fixed or start working correctly.....I'll ship it back and ask for my money in return!!

  3. I bought new a 2006 Dodge Charger. I have had nothing but problems with this car. 6 recalls, 3 sets of tires, engine issues, transmission issues, upper intake valve tuner replacement ($1700.00 out of MY pocket) but yet to fix the problem Dodge had to create a kit (if you had to create a kit to fix it, then it should of been a recall issue). My sunroof has been replaced 3 times and in the shop over 6 times to be "fixed" It is still broken. The CD player has been replaced twice and I could go on. Here is why I am here today complaining. I have a moaning noise in my front end when going over speed bumps or potholes and I feel it in my pedal. I explained this to them and even stated perhaps it is my power steering. I have to pay out of pocket for a rental, drop the car off. The next day I get a call saying the car is fixed, test drove and ready to pick up. $797.00 is my bill. I did not get 4 miles down the road, went over some railroad tracks and it made the noise. I immediately called back Dodge and they said to bring it back in on Monday. So over the weekend I find that now that they "fixed" it I have a horrible moaning, clunking sound when I turn left. I drop the car off on Monday and get a call Tuesday that it is my rack & pinion and it will cost me $840.00!!! Are you kidding me? They will not cover it. THEY SHOULD COVER IT. They obviously mis-diagnosed the problem, their bad. I am extremely unhappy and will never purchase a Dodge again and I will be sure and tell everyone I know what crappy automobiles they make! Dodge Corporate Customer Service will be hearing from me....

    1. I about a new 2006 Dodge Charger as well as my daughter. Have had nothing but problems and I am on a first name basis with the service manager. Final straw is my daughter and I recently paid the car in May. One week after receiving our titles the transmission went out on my daughters car (only 36,000 miles). On July 6 I went out to get in the car and could not put it in gear. Had to have it towed and the driver stated she had towed 5 cars (Chrysler 300s and Chargers) all with the same problem in the last week. I was told the gear shift had locked and the override system did not work and was not covered by the gear shift recall they had in 2008. Cost $682. My nephew also has a charger and on July 10 he called me and his gear shift was locked. I told him what to do to override the lock and, of course, it did not work. Dodge Corporate here I come.

  4. Single mom struggling to make it, I buy a 2000 Dodge durango 4x4, from used car lot in Sacramento, california, 1st year had to chane compressor, next, water pumo, next stater, next, rebuilt motor had 96,000 on original, next car keeps breaking down no warning with me & my daughter alone on the side of the road, we have towed it into three different. Dodge dealerships, the light on the dash says no bus, not one of these dealerships can find the problem, so after payine three different diagnostic fee's atill have a vehicle that brakes down at will, no warning. As a single mother working for rent, food & clothes, bills for my daughter, school I personally wold not recommend buying a dodge durango to anyone, if you do GOOD LUCK. When it brwaks down & from the research I've done myself it will..............

    1. Unfortunately, your first mistake was buying from a used car lot. Cars are from auctions and many have rebuilt titles from wrecks or floods. Even if it is a "clean" title, history of vehicle is sketchy. When dealers take used cars on trade-in, they will keep and sell on their own lots the cars that are good risks. The rejects, meaning there is too much work to be done, go to auction. Another piece to your bad luck with this car is the type. 4x4's will typically have more issues than 2WD. Also--do you have the 4.7L or 5.2L engine? The 4.7's have more issues. I have a 2000 Durango 2WD, 5.2L and I am nearing 300k miles with original engine and transmission. Yes--I've gone through one or two water pumps, a heater coil, plugs, wires, belts, etc. but overall the car has been VERY reliable and general maintenance minimal. Like you, I'm a single mom and value having a good, running car. I rub my "Dolly's" dash periodically and thank Jesus for blessing me with such a reliable vehicle.

  5. Service at Carbone Dodge in Yorkville, NY is absolutley terrible. If you want to spend extra money & buy parts that are not needed-call John or Mike. Took my truck there on 5/21. On 5/22 my husband gave them permission to purchase to hook up to computer for diagnotic. The part they said we needed It did not fix my truck. So, now we are on 5/30. My husband was asked to come in so he could talk to the mecahnic. taking a few hrs off from work, he went to carbone and the mechanic did not show up for work that day. Surprise surprise!! On 5/31 my husband went back to Carbone and the mechanioc was there, as says it could be another part. My husban gave them the permission to orde the part. John called my husband on 6/4 and said the part was shipping from St Louis. I called on 6/5 to see if the part was here as it was being expedited-it was not. I spoke w/Erin he said it would be here tmrw-6/6 I called on 6/6 NO PART!! I spoke w/John & mike they assured me the part woukld be here tmrw, 6/7 & was shipping from CT!! JUST LINE OF BULL FROM DAY 1

  6. Hello Dodge,

I own a 2006 dodge durango hemi and have had the vechile for two years now. The vechile began giving me major problems wherein I was forced to bring it to ARTIOLI in Enfield CT. The service manager and staff were extreemly rude and patronizing and upon complaint were a bit more friendly. Artioli kept the vechile for three and half weeks and charged me more than 2400 dollars for a laundry list of repairs that were incorrectly completed. They charged me over 500 dollars for a diagnostic and upon thier assumed need for repairs replaced parts that didnt need replacin in the first place. 7 weeks later, today the car is in worse condition than intitially and have to put it back in the garage for an additional 2000 dollars. I am very unsatisfied with the Dodge services and customer relations and am planning on taking corrective action. I will be contacting the CT DMV, BBD and my local media outlets. Dodge should be ashamed!

  7. Well I would like to add to the dissappointment above. I purchased a 2005 dodge magnum in 2006 it was still new with 560 miles on it. The car was loaded with hemi motor, navigation etc... I did nothing but change the oil every 4,000 miles with synthetic. I took care of the car, and at 108,000 miles, the lifter broke, causing the valve to drop and scar the piston. What this means is a total engine rebuild at a cost of around $7,000!! I called the national customer relations line and was assigned case number. the number I called was 800-992-1997 case number 22449370. I was assigned a case manager named rebekah that told me to have the car towed to the local dodge car dealership to verify damages. the service manager verfied the damage, and rebekah started to look into how available the parts would be to fix. I am thingking ok dodge is going to stand behind their product NOT!. after a week of discussion, it was decided by rebekah that nothing could be done, because the car was "out of warranty" well she knew that when I first called. I spoke to her boss "ally" only to be told the same thing. ally told me she did not have a boss that she could provide me a name for, only a PO box number and address to send a letter to Now I have a car that stickered for over $37,000 that is going to cost me over $7,000 to get back on the road. I have lost my faith in dodge an will never buy another dodge product as long as i live. Furthermore, I will tell anyone/ everyone I know this story. I was not asking for a no out of pocket expense scenerio, however to not be offered any type of assistance tells me they truly do not care about their customers. The hemi motor is a joke!

  8. I bought a 2008 Dodge Charger from a dealership here in Colorado Springs. Iinformed them that there was a shimmy in the right front end abd was told everything checked out. It has progressively gotten worse and apon research there has been issues with the front end wheel bearings and tie rod's. I have again contacted the dealership to see about a possible recall for these items and they say there is nothing in the system. I am an active duty Soldier and I dont feel that we are being treated fairly. I have deployed once since buying the vehicle so it only has 66,000 miles on it. I would like to see DODGE/CHRYSLER assit me in getting these issues resolved. I love my charger and will continue ot buy DODGE vehicles if I get the assistance I need.Ive owned 5 DODGE/CHRYSLER vehicles over the past 8-10 years and really do not want to go to something else.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!

  9. want to hear one even better? my cousin is stuck in salida colorado town and country dodge dealership. she lives in california and cannot leave w/o the specialty wheelchair van but they have had it for 3 weeks. saying they don't have the tools to fix something like the lifters. so they had to order over night etc and it is three weeks later and cyndy's money has run out. horrible vacation. thanks dodge! daughter's school has started and she is missing it. there are not only kids, but some very serious health issues going on. nobody is paying attention to this very serious issue...... dodge is seriously messing up right now. salida town and country dodge dealer. stay away from them! also called corporate and bryan bs711 out of detroit mich said that even tho she is overwhelmed and frustrated, there is no direct line. that she would have to call through the matrix and try to get a person also. 1. I am a wheelchair user because of a accident, i am a mother of a 4yr old son and an 11 yr old daught. i bought a 2008 dodge grand caravan, a year ago, and have many problems. the main problem is that the transmission is failing, and there is no help from anyone. what alot of people dont understand or know is that we pay alot more for a handicapped van then you would for just a normal van.Just some someone like myself to drive, i have to have installed what is called a transfer seat, that alone is $2,400.00, and a hand controls are $950.00, all these costs are added to the cost of the van, and then for dodge not to stand by and back up there products, well you all have your own special names for them. what is a person like myself and millions like me, on a fixed income to do?? we cant just go and just in a friend car and do what needs doing, these vans are our life lines to interact in the world and be part of this world

  11. I own a a 1995 Dodge Laramie SLT V8 5.1, it has 185,000 miles on it. Yep that is right 185,000 miles. I love my pick up it is an extended cab. I had planned on buying a new one but life has taken a very bad turn for the worse for me. I was working at a school that went through some budget cuts and in my department there was going to be one position cut and I drew short straw because I was the last one hired. On top of that my now ex-wife decided that she wanted a divorce and tried to get lots of alimony. The kids testified that they wanted to live with their dad but the judges here seem to side with the women and she got to keep custody. They have talked about running away several times and I have had to talk them out of it. So need less to say I can't not afford to buy a new Dodge pickup. When I do get another pickup my kids are already fighting over who gets it, they absolutly love the truck. After dealing with all of the bad stuff and still dealing with the bad things the ex-wife is always trying to cause with me. It would be nice if Dodge would be willing to give a new truck to me, so I could give my old one to my girls. I know companies don't do things like that anymore, but I truely love Dodge and don't know if I will ever be in the boat to have a new Dodge pickup built for me just the way I want and I have a special one that I have been dreaming about that is very much a one of a kind. I see all of these bad reviews for these new or newer Dodges and they should be thankful that they can buy a new or newer one, if you don't like it there are options for either getting it fixed or exchanged. I would give anything if Dodge would give me a new truck, since I can't afford one. The reasone I will never be able to afford one now is because I now have to apply for disablity and that will never be enough to pay for a new job. So I will go through life with one dream that will never come true. It is what it is and Heavenly Father will provide for those in need. GOD bless everyone for listening to my post and may all your troubles fade away. Thank you.

    2. I have a 2011 journey crew. Bought it with only 9000 miles on it. It now has about 17,500 and I have had it in the shop 5 times in 2 months. Had to have a battery, brake repair, someting wrong with the compressor, had to have computer componet replaced, and now the compressor is messed up again. Smoke coming out from under the car. Called Addy Harbour Dodge in Myrtle Beach and told the service manager about the problem. His response was we cannot give us a rental car until he finds the problem. He also said he would drive it until it caught fire. This is the 4th dodge I have owned. WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER DODGE EVER!!!!!!!!

Transimission leak, alignment, new rotors for a brand new truck, and they still havent fixed the vibrating noise that I've compalined about since I bought it. Each time they said nothin was wrond until I demanded it to be fixed. Its in the shop now and if they dont get it right I WILL BE SUING AND GETTING A NEW VEHICLE ON THEIR MONEY! Its a shame that this Amrican made car from my home town in Michigan is a piece or crap and I will never buy anything from Dodge, Chrysler ever again. Please tell all other friends and neighbors.

  15. I' really thinking of making a new purchase of a new vehicle in 2013> 2014.
I really like the new Dart, but I hate sedans and have no need for one. I'm 63 years young and it's just my wife and I. We bought love the Challenger. But seriously we need more 2 door cars. A lot of us are not Baby Boomers, or are finished with that, and we want our own personal vehicle. We maybe old and stiff but we are not dead. We like somthing sporty that's sleek looking that we can get in and out of. Come on guy's give us a brake bring back the 2 door coupe and sedan . SRT8 and SRT4 should have that option. you really need to give this option on the Dart SRT4
Thank you very much for your time EP Jefferson

  16. I PURCHASED A 2012 DODGE RAM 1500 QUAD CAB SPORT PICKUP JUNE 2012. I ROTATED THE FRONT TIRES TO THE REAR AND THE REARS TO THE FRONT AT 4,983 MILES BEFORE TAKING A LONG TRIP. The truck now has 10,860 miles on it which is allhighway miles and on august 28, 2012 went to rotate tires again and the inside edges of front tires were woren more than usual normal wear. Before rotating the tires i drove it to my local goodyear tire dealer and the district manager looked at the tires and said it was a alignment and balance issue and also pointed out that the left front tire had a tire plug installed it the left front tire. I never had any flat tire issues with my truck nor do i lend out my truck to anyone. That tire was originally on the left rear of the truck when purchased new in june 2012. I called my local dodge dealer and made an appt to have truck checked out. They told me they would check balance of tires and alignment. Dropped truck off to fucillo dodge in amsterdam new york on monday october 1, 2012 at 8am and they said they would call when done. they called me at 4pm that afternoon and said truck was ready and that the alignment was slightly off. They never checked balance of tires or even took them off. They did however give me a copy of the alignment and the work order stating that the agignment was off from the factory. I called the dodge main headquarters in mich. on monday oct 1,2012 and told them the problem and they gave me a case number 22670589. I requested that they replace the tires on my truck due to there factory alignment was off. They told me they would get back to me. October 2,2012 a case manager called me and said they would check into my problem with the dealer fucillo and get back to me and would take afew days. The case worker manager called me back today oct 4,2012 and said that it wasnt going to be covered under good will and there was nothing they can do and hung up. I called back twice and was put on hold for long period of time and get disconnected again. Finally after calling back for the 4th time they said (dodge head quarters) there was nothing they were going to do. As by now i relized that i bought a 47,000 dollar lemon pos !!!! Management have no back bone at dodge headquarters and they hide behind there customer service people. PUSSIES !!!!! DON'T BUY A DODGE P.O.S !!! Maybe dodge should give u.s. president a call to borrow more bail out money. Your gonna need it when sales drop because you don't stand behind you cars and trucks. Like they always say you can't polish a terd !!!!!!!

This pass week we were told after having a oil change that we needed a water pump for our Van For over 300 Dollars which would n
have a timing Belt done too. My husband Refused cause it was starting to get to us that every time we took the van there it needed major repairs. Which also his dad had this Van before us and I knew he kept having to do repairs also. Which had me thinking that I was getting a Lemon. Anyway My husband took the van to a smaller business place which show we Did Not Need A Water Pump Cause There Was NO Sign Of Leakage Or Anything Else. We Told Them About A Transmission That They Said It Needed So We Paid For A Rebuilt One Which Many Of You Know Was Not Cheap. This Auto Shop Show Us That There Never Was A Rebuilt Transmission Put In At All That We Were Taken For BIG BUCKS!!! All I Could Say Was OH WOW WE WERE SCREW All Day Long!!!. LESSON LEARN Never Trust These Big Business Of Any Work They Do On Your Auto. Well We Will Not Be Using This Big Company Any Longer And We Will Tell All Our Friends On What They Did. 19. I just wnated to let you know that we bought a Fourwinds Sprint motorhome last year. We love it, it is just rigt for us.
When we bougt it, the check engine ligt was on and the dealer corrected the problem. We zlso had to take the motorhome back for some touch ups on the paint. The dealer had it for almost a month. When we got the motorhome back, we took a short trip. When we were hooking up the lines, thats when wewere very grossed out. When the dealer had the vehicle in the pzint shop, the employees used our bathroom. It was the most upsetting and put a big damper on our trip. After our trip we took it to Tuttle dealership for service. Shortly after we got home from that dealer, wegot a phone call from them. They told us that when the driver was parking the vehicle, he "recked" it. The back windows on te drivers side were shattered out and they would have to keep it longer. We also told them about what had happened at the previous dealer using the restroom. They were also discussed. When we went back to pick up our vehicle, we checked the inside and again noticed that the restroom, again, was used. There was footprints in grease and urine all around the inside of the restroom. This makes us think that your organization "is" in the habit of using the restrooms in the motorhomes they service. I truly hope this is NOT your normal operating procedure. Again, we took a short trip and when our motorhome was recked, the dealership didn't clean up the broken glass. I find this unsatisfactory. Before we went on this trip we serviced the vehicle. Half way to our distination, the check oil light went on. We checked the oil and everything was ok. On our return we took it to the dealer and they keep making excuses for these sensors, if it's not the check oil ligt, its the check the tire pressure ligt. Everytime wetake it back for these problems, they don't seem to have a reason for it. Another issue is the sliding door handle needed to be replaced because wewere unable to open it from the inside and again, it needs to be replaced. We paid quite a bit for this vehicle and things should not be happening like this. I think we should be all these problems replaced and not just some what fixed just to satisfy us. Please help us so we can remedy these problems. Thank you.

  20. I was wondering what it would take to reinstate a dealership's ability to sell your vehicles? Our local dodge dealer lost its franchise a few years ago because of the economy and never got it back... The reason I am asking is because my boss will only buy vehicles from this dealer, and I don't like fords. The dealer is McKinsey Motors in Clinton, OK.

  27. I bought a 2011 Dodge Charger w/ 34,000 miles on it in September 2012. In October the driver seat belt stop working and the display warning stays on. Took it back to the dealer where it was purchased (not a Dodge dealer) I was told to take it to a Dodge dealer.
I made the appointment and took it to the Dodge dealership and was had to pay 123.00 to be told the seat belt was not covered under warranty and the cost to repair would be 324.00 in addition to the 123.00. This is a safety issue, and I think it should be covered under warranty. Anyone one else had this problem?

My husband and I went to visit the grandkids in N.C. for Christmas. While their our tire presure was reading low. We have Nitro in them. We went to Decon Jones Dodge in Smithfield N.C. to ask them if they could measure the presure. We were told since we didn't but the truck there they could not help us.We had a 800 mile trip back to Florida.I thought any Dodge Dealer would have been able to help us. I guess I was wrong.....

  30. I have had it with Dodge. They could care less about this issue that I have been having since buying the car. 2 days after the car was purchased it was in the shop. Now here we are a year and a month into it and it just came out of the shop again January 4th 2013. Chrysler Care is a bunch of IDIOTS. The issues have been confirmed with Star and the Dodge Dealer and there is nothing more that can be done to fix my car. I have asked that they either replace the motor trade for a newer model with comparable miles or do a buy back. I found out today that a buy back is not an option. I want DODGE TO STAND BEHIND THEIR BLACK AND WHITE WARRANTY. PERIOD...... Do the right thing and get me a different car. I can't even trade it in to Nissan Dealer as I took in the paperwork that I have on it and they want nothing to do with it and the motor noise, can't say as I blame them. Nice to know that I am paying 18k for a car that is ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. I am currently trying to reach someone in Dodge Corporate that wears a suit that will make this right. PERIOD. They want me to take the car to a different dealer to get yet a 3rd opinion on repairing the car. They don't even trust their own STAR group what a joke. I have a 2010 Dodge Charger with a 3.5 engine. PIECE OF SHIT...

  31. I recently purchased a 2011 dodge nitro heat from munday Mazda in spring tx. I have not even had the car a month and its been to the shop 3 times. First it was a dead battery, second the rpm idle was eratic, up down, up down. So they said the updated the software for the pcm. Well it made a slight difference, but not much. The 3rd time I took it in was due to a gas smell after fueling up. The smell was from under the hood by the driver side. The dodge dealer told me that there was nothing found or any smell. Well, I'm not an expert mechanic, but I have been around cars my whole life, and I know there is something wrong with this vehicle. There is just over 12000 miles on it, and it seems as it may something internal in the engine. Now, I could be wrong, but this is what I feel. Another issue I have us when sitting in park, the car has an ok idle, then it kinda sputters, like there is a misfire, or an issue with an injector. What is the point of taking it to the dealer to have warranty work done, and the end result is there is no issues found! I call bull shit! Theses so called certified technicians are not very qualified, imo. You can't just pull a car in and just give it a quick once over. Dodge needs to invest a lil more time and effort to resolve the customers problems with the vehicles. When you pay a decent amount of money for a vehicle, no matter what make, you shouldn't have to continuously take it in for issues, that are said to not be present, or no issues found. I traded in a 2001 Mazda tribute that I bout used, and never was it in the shop once. You dodge have made me not to ever not want to own a dodge again! I'm sure after all this, there will be other issues come up, and it'll go back to the dealer. Just to get the same answer....no problem found! This is a lesson learned....never buy junk from dodge!

Well here it is a month and I hear lots of knocks under my car when i drive and let me not forget the material they stitch the car up with is EXTREMELY CHEAP! Now personally I feel like taking this folk to court. I feel like they do not own up to their warranty and better yet do what they need to do to satisfy the customer. My material stitching in my truck should not be coming up and looking worn within a months time.

  33. I purchased my Dodge Ram 2500 in March of 2009 from Haley Auto in Farmville Va. After the 3 month demo of the Sirius Radio service went off I purchased a year subscription to the radio service. I have had the service continuously to date. About two weeks ago all of a sudden the radio lost channels. I called Sirius radio and had a refresh done but that was unsuccessful. After seven attempts to get the refresh done on 7 more occasions over a two week period the radio now has NO channels. It seems every time a refresh was done the radio lost more channels. I have talked to Technical Support at Sirius Radio twice and both times they told me that they have done all they can do for the signal. They stated that my problem is not a signal problem but rather a problem with the radio itself. They also told me to take it to a Dealership and have the technician there call them (Sirius Radio) and there is a "refresh" that has to be done by the dealership. They told me that this is a special "refresh" that can only be done by the installation dealer. I took my truck to the local Dealership today and they informed me that the only thing they can do is a diagnostic test and that is not a guarantee that it will fix the radio problem. It is more a test of the electronic systems in the vehicle. I told them what Sirius Radio said (about the special reset that can only be done by the installation dealership) and they said they knew nothing about that , had never heard anything about that and they refused to call Sirius Radio. Now I have to cancel the radio service because I have no Satellite radio to use it in. Needles to say I WILL NEVER recommend this dealership nor this product to anyone, EVER. My only other recourse is to drive 100 miles to another dealership that services Dodge products and is a Sirius Radio provider and see if they can fix the problem. This is POOR customer service by poorly run service department.

The total bill was over $11,000 dollars that dodge refused to pay because Dodge said the fuel was contaminated. I am currently going through this again with 50000 miles on the truck. I suggest that Dodge recalls these trucks to put a better filtration system on the truck. I feel that the filtration system failed and let water damage my vehicle voiding the warranty. I have completed the scheduled maintenance that Dodge recommends and I have purchased all of my fuel from large fuel stations. I would not recommend anyone to buy a 2011 diesel truck.

  45. Took my car into Nyle Maxwell Dodge Service Saturday 15th February 2013 after power steering belt broke. That belt plus something else related to power steering needed to be replaced. That done, 1 wk later + $1000 for that service, done. They then suggested that this other issue regarding my ABS "BRAKE" sensor needed replaced; I was quoted $1100. I was told it would make ABS "BRAKE" light sensor cease to stop shining on my dash 100 percent of the time. I trusted their judgement. After all, a Dodge dealerhip should know about Durango repairs. After week and a half, Dodge Nyle Maxwell Service contacted me with too complex of an explanation of why the ABS "BRAKE" sensor light still does not cease shining. They put in the extra $1100 part, yet it did not remedy the problem. They said if I order another $350 part, that would fix that "BRAKE" sensor for sure. I said "no, thank you" (in a kind voice) because I have in mind to sell and there is really no point putting so much cash into it at this late stage. If anything, Nyle Max Dodge Service should have taken it upon themselves to get that part installed so they can take pride in a complete job. So, I was forced to pay $2027 in total for these two parts and services. My ABS "BRAKE" sensor light is still shining on dash, from the moment I picked up the vehicle and all the way home. I am very dissatisfied and feel they should not have charged for the second thing unless they fixed it. Since they did NOT fix it, and since they did not offer to reduce/eliminate the price of this second thing WHICH THEY COULD NOT REPAIR, I am sharing my experience online. Don't assume Nyle Maxwell Dodge Service Center knows how to fix Durango problems. Take your Durango to a less expensive garage for any repairs.

  46. I own a 2003 Dodge Ram Diesel 2500. I, too, have had very bad experiences with several dealerships here in the Hamton Roads area of Virginia (Chesapeake, Norfolk, Va. Beach) over the past 10 years. If I could afford to buy another truck, I'd get a Ford again. Right now, I am dealing with one issue I've had since 2006 that no one can seem to fix. I've got another issue with the PCM wiring that Dodge had a recall on back in 2004 that I got fixed then. And that could be causing the problem I'm having now with shifting. But again Dodge is telling me that I might need to replace the computer to tune of $2500. And they THINK that might fix my issues. Excuse me!!! If it doesn't, will I get my money back??? Not likely. I can't afford a $2500 GUESS on their part! I've still got all of my paperwork from work they've done. I know that legally if the issue was reported when the truck was under warranty and not fixed until after the warranty runs out, that they still have to cover it under warranty! We'll see what a dealer says today. Might have to get a lawyer.

I have been dealing with Eastchester Chrysler Dodge, Bronx NY and Dodge Motor Corp since March 2013 for a service issue. I brought my 2012 Dodge Avenger into the dealership for a heating problem. Turns out the service dept told me that the head gasket was gone and that I would need a new one. When I returned to the dealership for a loaner car, I was told that they didnt have any (I live 50 miles away) and was told that they couldnt even help me with a rental. They basically told me that I had to figure it out on my own. I was given the number to Dodge Corp and they couldnt find a rental in the area either. It took them AT LEAST 2 weeks just to get the part into the shop. I was told that the part had arrived on a Friday but they werent going to touch my car until Monday. After days of employees being sick and snow on the ground, they finally started to work on the vehicle. When I called to find out about the car a week later because no one called me from the service dept or Dodge, I finally got someone to fess up and tell me that DUE TO MECHANIC ERROR, an internal engine bolt had been broken during the installation of the head gasket and the car now needed a NEW ENGINE. At this point, I had rented a vehicle on my own which Dodge Corp said they would cover and was in this vehicle for 30 days which amounted to $2,200. After being in the rental for 30 days, I was informed by the rental company that they would not bill Dodge directly because Dodge Corp has bad credit (no joke). So, after paying the rental bill and still being without a car, I started the process of trying to get reimbursed for the rental and also decided that my car had been so damaged that I wanted to swap the car out. Long story short, I just received my rental car reimbursement and I am still trying to settle the exchange of the vehicle because Dodge Corp has the nerve to charge me a usage fee on my car (which is paid in full) and has the arrogance to tell me that I have to pay them an additional $3,500 to get into a lower class vehicle. I am STILL without a car (3 months) and Dodge is still fighting me on a swap out. I have never delt with such an unprofessional corporation who makes it every evident that they could care less about their customers. I dont know what the final outcome will be, but I do know that I will NEVER purchase another Dodge vehicle and will tell everyone I know to do the same. This is obscence and offensive treatment by a huge corporation bailed out by my tax dollars because the auto industry was broke. They have no interest in making this right and then they wonder why people buy the foreign models.

Thank God they didn't get hurt. your company needs to recheck airbag deployments, i wouldn't want anyone else to go thru whay i am going through. Glenda Marino

  59. Hi. My name is Rhonda Jacks. We purchased a used dodge caravan. I hesitated to purchase one as I had been told over and over about their transmission problems. It comes with a 90,000 mile waranty to fix it if it quits working. Mine quit. They started out good with admitting it was the internal transmission and still under warranty. It took a solid week for them to look at it. It has spent two weeks waiting to be fixed. First it was replace a part. Then the service man says it needs a whole new transmission. He had to submit photos and get approval. Some idiot looks at pictures and decides it should just be rebuilt. Service guy is surprised. I have been without my vehicle for three weeks. They offer no rental to replace it. I have four children. We do not have another vehicle to hold our whole family. We have been unable to take them on a summer vacation. We have been stuck in our house for three weeks. I tried calling customer service. All I want is for them to replace my transmission. I am unable to speak to a decission making person. This is the worst customer service. I will continue to stay on this. I plan to never purchase another dodge and will tell anyone else I encounter. Also, my brother purchased one not long after me. His van is also starting with the same warning signs as mine did. I don't think he will be any more pleased with his than I am. Very sad.

The third time was in 2011 and had to replace the EVAPORATOR & LIQUID LINE. The total bill was over $1,500. Not it is August 2013 and the EVAPORATOR needs replaced AGAIN due to leaking refrigerant! This is ridiculous. I was going to trade my vehicle in for a new one...but REFUSE TO DO IT NOW. The first time the evaporator was replaced it was only warranted for one year. I live in Florida. 62. I have a RAM 1500 that has a recall for over six months now. I am tired of being told oh the parts are being made. Every time I call it is the same answer never changes. So why does it take so long to make the parts? are they swimming them over from CHINA? We as customers pay for your product and then we get the run around for six and who knows how many more months of your lies while you sit back and build more crap that ends up on the recall list!!!!!

  63. I have 2009 dodge journey. I too have had to replace the battery, rotors twice, brake pads twice, and already needing a another set of tires. I have only had the vehicle for 2 1/2 years. But my latest concern is my vehicle has some starting issuses.I have taken my vehicle in and the service technicians can not figure out what the problem is. What is really going on? I have called Chrysler/Dodge and all I have gotten is a email stating we received your call. I want dodge to understand what I am going through. I have had to rent cars in ordre to have reliable transportation. And now with it at the shop, they can't even provide me with a rental until they figure out what the problem is and if it is covered under my warranty.

  64. I bought my 2012 dodge Durango over a year ago and worst decision I ever made. First front bumper was off so they had to send it to a body shop and reset it. Second, radio nav was not working properly, they replaced it with a new one but now whenever it goes over 85 degrees and the truck sits for few hours the radio doesn't even come on. I was told it was a software issue and I'm still waiting after a week for some master disk. the best came 6 months after I got the truck, the front cross arm cracked and the service department thought I was joking around, came back to me with a face as white as a ghost because they knew how bad the issue was and tried to play it off as "not that bad". I had a Honda pilot before and only had a tire issue, that was it. worst purchase ever and I'm already trying to see if I can make a deal with Toyota or Honda.

I am not happy with this purchase at all, I have waited this long because I am not the type to make complaints to the public or agencies but this manufacture should compensate not only me but anyone who is have the same issues as I have.

I was trying to talk to dave there in sevice he just kept cutting me off telling me I was unappreciative that they should have charged me more. Yet my new 2012 dodge came out looking like crap, people that knew I was taking it in there asked what the heck happened, to top it off I live out of town and they didnt put my wheel well piece back in the back of the my truck and told me its my my responsibility to drive all the way back up there and pick it up meanwhile my truck looks like crap :( I will never take my vehicle back there again and I guarantee I will be spreading all the hororr stories around of what has happened.

I had a 2003 Dodge ram 3500 that was cutting out on expressway so I took it to crossroad dodge in Petersburg,Va for a diagnosis. They told me my injector pump was bad and charged me $100.00. I replaced the pump for $1800.00 ,But it still did the same thing. So I took it to Mechanicsville dodge because I did not believe that crossroads ever did a diagnostic on it. Several hours latter a woman from dealership called me and said they had to do more testing and it was going to cost $500.00. Later that day she called back and told me the injector pump was bad and now they could not get the truck started,so I had to pay a wrecker another $150.00 to take it back to my house.I lifted the hood while wrecker was still there and someone had never plugged the main wire connection back in. As soon as I did it started right up. I noticed a small drip underneath truck and found out that all it was all the time was a loose connection in fuel line
This all happened several years ago and now I have a 2005 dodge ram 3500 that lost power.. Not knowing what to do I called Pearson Dodge in Richmond, Va. They said it would take an hour to diagnose it so I took it to them at appointed time of 1:00. After two hours I ask a service writer why it was taking so long and he became a smart ass trying to tell me how many things were wrong that had to be traced down .I ask for my truck back and told him I would take it to a real diesel mechanic. which I did the next day. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and another 5 minutes had it fixed and running great and also it read no more codes. This all cost me $45.00 so needless to say I WILL NEVER GO TO A DEALERSHIP AGAIN FOR ANYTHING

  76. Do not buy a dodge challenger, my husband and I purchased a 2011 dodge challenger and its not even 2 yrs. old yet and only has 8000 miles on it. He went out in Aug. to crank and it wouldnt crank. After getting it cranked he turned it off and could here something still running inside of the dash, the fan to the radio was running 2 or 3 hours later it ran the battery down. Dodge did replace the radio and that was in Sept. now here it is Nov. and we have the same problem. Dodge claims you have to drive them everyday for 10min. to keep the battery charged ( bull shit ) the people they have working at Landers McClarty Dodge in Bessemer,Al do not no what they are doing. My husband told them it was doing the same thing as before and they just cant understand why the battery goes dead. They have had the car for over a week now and will not call you back when they say they will and when you call there is always an excuse. Its bad when you have to tell them whats wrong with your car. And they have these young girls working that tells you to put a triple charger on it. When you purchase a new car you expect it to crank when you need it to.They have not even tried to order a new radio system for it this time so my husband has gone this morning to get his car and take it to another dealership. I thought about trading my Honda Accord in on a charger but instead I think we need to trade the challenger in for a Honda. My Honda is 6yrs. old and have never had any problems with it.If I do Honda knows how to fix it.Unlike Dodge!!

I own a 2012 Dodge Avenger my problem is the Air Bag light keeps popping on and off during driving,I originally tried to take back where the car purchased, but they could not get to it for 2 days and to leave the car,I told them no I will not leave the car,I will take it to a competitor who can service it,after driving to said dealership, they said the problem was part of a recall and the mechanic fixed it and put new software in,then on the way home, boom the light is back on so I contacted the dealership to bring the car back in the AM which I did, they looked at it again and told me the problem was part of the head restraint system needed to be replaced the harness is on back order and they do not know when it will be coming in,IF I did business like this I would be out of business, now I am forced to drive with the idiot light on and off which could lead to more problems,I owned a Hyundai Sonata for 6 year never a problem and when I did take it in for service it perfessional

  80. I will NEVER buy from Dodge again. I was recently on a road trip with my boyfriend traveling from SLC, UT to Oceanside CA. My 2010 Dodge Avenger with only 56,000 miles on it broke down on the drive. We limped the car to a dealership in CA and they took the car stating they would "get on it right away". I explained to them we are only here for a short time and need to be traveling back to UT in a few days. I asked if we could get a loner car for the weekend and they told me "No, Dodge does not provide rentals". I rented a car for the weekend and was told late Saturday night that I would need to find another way home, they would need my car for the week- still won't provide me with a rental. They told me it was my transmission and though that was covered under warrantee, they wouldn't provide me with a rental until they had logged the diagnosis and sent the finding into Dodge. I paid $400.00 to drive home in a rental.
I spoke with the service manager on Tuesday and she told me "You should have purchased the service warrantee if you wanted to access the rental privileges, by the way, we will need your car for another week or so......"
I have NEVER in my life worked with such unprofessional, unaccommodating people. I will never purchase from Dodge again.

  82. I have a 2011 Dodge Laramie 2500. I received a notice of recall in the mail. The recall stated the tie rod could break while driving the vehicle which could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash. I called the Lakeland Chrysler Dodge dealer that was closest to me at which time I was advised I had to drive the vehicle there for them to inspect it, to see if my vehicle was included in the recall. After driving 15 miles, it was inspected and yes, my vehicle needs to be repaired, but I was advised they didn't have the parts. He told me to continue driving it, call the dealership next week, and see if the parts have been released. I was puzzled because I'm was being told to drive an unsafe truck home, and basically not to worry about the tie rods breaking and me getting in a crash. Wow, what a liability. So I did, and the next week I called, the parts had not been released. So I drove it another week. I called again and yes the parts had been released, but the Lakeland Chrysler Dodge didn't have them, call back next week. I called this week and spoke to Carlos. After explaining to him everything that I had been through, he tells me I have to drive back up to the Lakeland Chrysler Dodge and get it rechecked (because I didn't know the guys name that inspected my truck) and they have no record of me being there. Probably because your employee did not ask for any of my information when I was there and the two times I called on the phone they didn't ask for any information. Now I have to drive back up there, let Carlos inspect it, just to tell me he has to order the parts, so that I can drive it up there a third time to finally get it repaired. And now I'm being told after changing the tie rod and steering linkage they will only set the "toe" to the front end of the vehicle. At the least I think a 4 wheel alignment should be performed. After all, this is your recall because you put defective parts on vehicles. I have never been so upset with the Chrysler as I am right now. Their customer service has gone out the window. I have been trying to get my truck repaired since the first week in January and today is Feb 21st. When it comes to safety, I can see Lakeland Chrysler Dodge does not care about their customers. They just want to sell you a vehicle and then you're on your own. What happened to making the customer happy? Where is the customer service? You can bet, I will never buy another Dodge.

  87. FIRE JOAN RIVERS -

Joan Rivers has recently made some of the most tasteless, insulting, base, crude and hurtful comments regarding the Castro kidnapping victims in Cleveland.

And she not only refuses to apologize, but continues to ridicule them.

Those young women endured ten years of rape, torture, humiliation, forced child birth and abortion, and other unspeakable acts, and yet JOAN RIVERS says they're lucky because they "lived rent free" for ten years.

NOT FUNNY Joan. Not funny Dodge.

I have seen first hand how much these comments have hurt one of the victims.

Imagine how horrible it is to have survived all that, and now they are victimized again by a cruel and vicious publicity-hound.

Dodge - don't tarnish your long-standing reputation as an American icon. Cancel her spokesperson contract, and pull her commercials immediately.

Don't let her poor taste and cruelty reflect on your company.

  89. I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 4X2 that I purchased brand new. I recently had the drivers side rear electric window stop working. Then the speaker stopped working in the same door. After replacing the electric window motor and the master control on the drivers door it still did not work. After further investigation on my own, I found the wiring harness "inside" the rubber tubing coming from the "B" post to the rear door was CUT!!!!!! The rubber tubing was in perfect condition but the wires inside were cut! This could have started an electrical fire and been fatal! After spending $60,000 on a truck like this you would think that this would NEVER happen. VERY POOR design, and very poor customer satisfaction when I notified my local Dodge dealership and explained my situation. There are MANY MORE consumers out there with the exact same problem! I believe Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge senior management should be looking into this with serious conviction. It could have caused a fire which could have been deadly!

  92. Having a heck of a time getting my brakes serviced properly with the mopar lifetime pads. Went 2-years no squeals when done properly. This last service, I'm going on my 3rd warranty visit within the month of original service for the same squeal. Hearing all kinds of excuses how it's the mopar pads being randomly bad or trucks just squeal. I'm starting to think they didn't turn my rotors or even change out the pads. Come on already--even spoke with service manager. Only thing they can do is keep changing out the pads. Not visually being able to see the service done, I have lost confidence that it is being serviced at all. Is it a scam to get the lifetime mopar brake pads? I've been a faithful customer, but having to fight for a job well done is getting old. 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel is a great truck, finding an honest service center is the hard part.

  93. The new University Dodge Dealership in Florence,Alabama is a disappointment. My dad took his Charger to have it repaired. The bad part is that I sent him there. I am a certified tech, but I don't own a scanner. When it went to the shop it would idle and when you put it in gear it would die. They ran two different test. They called my dad and said it needed a computer. My dad said if that would fix it to go ahead. When they call and say it is ready, they also tell him it will have to be towed home. He said its not fixed. He brought it in running and $1000.00 later it has to be towed. They said it was because it had bad valve cover gaskets and bad plugs. So in order to pull it outside so I could change them they made my dad pay the bill. I changed plugs and gaskets. It still wouldn't run. Imagine that. Them are horrible to my dad. So I believe I will contact my local news channel to see what can be done about the fraud charges against all the great Christian people of Florence, Alabama. I friend also ownes a graphic business. So I am making about 200 big bold signs for my friends and family to put on the side of their cars. I am tired of people getting run over by people thinking they are above The Lord. The manager was rude and condescending and it was a huge inconvenience to be without my car for over a day!!! I just purchased my car 4 months ago and it is under warranty and this is the grief that I get...I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! 96. The dodge dealership located in Rocky Mount, NC does't care about life of a customer. My wife drives a jeep liberty limited addition. It's been under recall for one year, concerning gas tank explosion upon rearend impact. Complain to the dealership service department about parts not being available was told to go out and purchase part my self and that it really not a safety issue, not according to manfacture. The part is to install a trailer hit to the vehicle to help absorb impact. Service department says its very rarely of rearend collision, don't worry about your wife driving it to work every day or driving it on vocation. The dealership has no concern if part is place on vehicle or concern for customer. After encounter with service department with their lack of concern for customer safety I will not deal with them anymore for help or purchase of a vehicle from them. A recall base on weakness in the rear chasis may cause a explosion of vehicle is a serious problem to me and manfacture. I love my wife, family and friends. I hope that the dodge corperation send part asap and have a talk with service people that seems unconcern about problems of the customer.

Do some research on what you're buying BEFORE you spend 30+ grand and buy something else. Quit complaining because you got screwed. It sucks yes but if you read all these other reviews and statements beforehand then you wouldn't be in this predicament. Oh and one more thing AMERICA. ...PLEASE LEARN HOW TO SPELL! 99. On July 1, I received an e-mail survey about MY experience at Waldorf, Dodge. I completed the survey with all honesty according to my perception of experience for my most recent visit. In my survey I did indicate that the advisor did not offer a thorough explanation of which I had to ask him multiple times for explanation, which the advisor seemed a bit agitated that I asked questions. There was a question in the survey that asked if I was offered a courtesy/loaner car and I replied no, since I was not offered one and I had to secure my own transportation. On Thursday morning, I received a message from the advisor to give him a call at Waldorf Dodge. I returned the call, but only to have the advisor rudely say to me, "I am calling about the survey you completed about your service. I HAD $80 TAKEN OUT OF MY CHECK BECAUSE IT WAS NOT GOOD. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WHEN I DID NOT EVEN CHARGE YOU FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC AND I GOT YOU TO ENTERPRISE FOR A CAR!" I responded in disbelief that he was calling my home in an aggressive manner about a survey I took in honesty about MY EXPERIENCE at Waldorf Dodge. I indicated that if I knew this would be his response, I would have never returned his call. I was very shaken and asked to speak with his superior about his tone and attitude toward me. I spoke with another gentleman who seemed to be quite near and I am almost sure that he heard the retorts of this advisor, who indicated that that is not normally the advisor's demeanor and that he was probably having a bad day since there was a lot going on there. He indicated that the advisor wanted to ask what they (Waldorf Dodge) could do as a company to make my experience better...I replied to the gentleman, that the exchange I just had with the advisor was not to illicit what could be done to make my experience better...there is no reason I should know how much was taken from his pay, or even that anything was taken from his pay at all. I felt bullied and I felt intimidated for telling about my experience in a survey. I indicated to the gentleman, who stated that he was the supervisor of the service department at Waldorf Dodge, that I would NEVER do business with them again...and I even second guess my dealing with the DODGE CHRYSLER Corporation as a whole if this is the type of customer service that is attributed to its long-time customers (we purchased the van new in 1999) and have used the service of Waldorf Dodge many times, and have spent many dollars for the upkeep of the vehicle...THIS IS BY FAR MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER TO DATE...at any place!

  100. Anonymous Dodge TV advertising is very derogatory to white men.

  101. My name is Denise Kearsing and in the next couple of days I will be displaying all my letters and bills for work done on a Subaru forester 2004 that I bought from dutchess dodge on rt 9 in Poughkeepsie NY. A car that once you see all the work needed 24 hours after driving it off the lot makes you wonder how NYS passed inspection.

  102. Hi my name is Joyce, I own a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. I am complaining about the dashes in all 2001 Dodges. I am disabled and can not buy a replacement for my truck. Every one that I know that drives this year dodge the dashes are the same. You as a company should have a recall or have a replacement dash for these trucks. Don't get me wrong I love my truck and would buy another dodge in the future but I cant and I wish you would do something about the truck dashes were they will last like the rest of them. thank you

  103. I purchased my RAM 1500 on May 17th, 2014 from your dealership to replace a vehicle I was having trouble with. I thought in doing so I would be getting a quality truck that I could enjoy for many years to come. Since driving it off the lot I have had not one but two check engines lights appear. The first appeared at 1, 100 miles, about a week after driving it off the lot. Apparently it required a new mother board module that took about 2 days to find and install. The second and most recent appeared at 1650 miles about 3 weeks after I received my truck back after the first light. I am being told it is a bad fuel line purge valve. This will leave me without my truck for another 2+ days. As I’m sure you can imagine I am very disappointed at this point. I have tried reaching out to both the dealers service manager and the general manager.however I haven't heard anything back. I work in construction and have a very demanding schedule so I shouldn't be inconvenienced with having to make multiple trips back and forth to the dealership service department for a brand new truck. I’m sure if I had missed payments RAM/Chrysler wouldn’t accept excuses.

  104. The Dodge Dart commercial where the big man hits the little man for threatening to "key" the car is not a good thing to show. A better way is to perhaps have the big guy ask to see the key and after being given the key the big guy throws the key away. This can be repeated for effect. Please do not portray violence. Thanks

  105. You would think that when a person spends $45,000 on a new truck you would expect quality. I have a 2011 Ram Laramie with 25,000 miles on it. It looks like new that's how good I take care of it. But I need to say the CHEAP fake chrome plastic coated rims STINK. They could have and should have given better. They knick up like nothing I have seen on any rim. garbage. Will not buy another because of it.
