    1. This woman went before congress to beg tax payers to pay for her fornication and you drop support for someone who correctly discribes her character. I will never use your perverted product.

    2. I guess you are one of the Obama minions that believe the government should control our freedom of speech. Rush had a constitutional right to say what he said, be it right or wrong. Giving into the political correctness of the Left will destroy all our rights.

As well, yes, the woman is a slut. She deserves to be called one. If she decides to participate in sexual activities outside of marriage, she has made that decision and I am not responsible to pay for the consequences. Let her abstain! That is FREE. Let the guy buy a condom. I feel no obligation for her actions.

Anyone here ready to take on Bill Mayer for his attacks against Sarah Palin? Didn't think so. The left, always deciding what is right for the Left is OK, but the Right has to be attacked.

    3. LOL at this guy^

      A. You're right, it is Rush's right to say what he wants, given the First Amendment. By sponsoring a man who makes those claims, the words are put in the mouth of Quicken Loans. It's Quicken's right via the First Amendment to not support that speech.

      B. I'm SURE you've never participated in sexual activities outside of marriage. I'm sure Rush abstained before all four of his marriages, whom I'm sure all took "the pill" since he has not ONE child.

      C. Birth control, (also known as Estrogen Therapy,) is prescribed to many women for far more reasons other than it's common names. Menopausal women, women who experience extreme pain/mood swings/acne, etc... It's medication. It's adverse effect is convincing your body it's already pregnant - preventing pregnancy. READ A BOOK.

      D. Sarah Palin is a public figure. Anything can be said about her without her having legal right to sue for Libel. She's just another Right Wing that hes yet to read a book, since she thinks Africa is a country...

  2. Thank you Quicken for withdrawing paid advertizing from the Rush Limbaugh radio program. Association with his unethical behavior and slander is not worthy of any serious company or news organization.
Congratulations for doing the right thing!

    1. Bill Mahre called Sarah Palin a "Cu--" and that was okay by you? NO! I will NOT stand for the MSM and the liberal socialist Democrats in this country to try to silence one of the only voices we have.

  3. Bill Mahre called Sarah Palin a "Cu--" and did the MSM say anything? NO! Rush calles this Fluke a "Sl--" which she is and wants me to pay for it, and the MSM and you advertisers are all over him. Well guess what, this is just one more attempt to SILENCE our voices and this time it's NOT going to work. I will tell all of my Friends on Facebook exactly what is going on and we will NOT deal with YOU! You should bury your heads in shame. One more Liberal Socialist Gestapo trick! 5. I will never do business with you as a result of dropping Rush. The hypocrisy is outrageous and filled with double standard. Rush apologized. Where was the outcry for an apology by the likes of Bill Maher who called Sarah Palin the "c" word and making an indirect reference to her Down Syndrome son by accusing her of inbreeding? Other conservative women who have been targeted and were NEVER apologized to include Michelle Bachman and Laura Ingraham who was also called a slut by Ed Schultz; this individual did not loose a single sponsor. I am not surprised, though. The left has spun -- and will continue to spin -- this story to take focus away from Obama's miserably failed presidency.

  6. Rush Limbaugh used some unfortunate words in describing the self professed lifestyle of Ms. Fluke. But his description of her behavior was not incorrect. The point he was making was about personal responsibility. He has taken responsibility for his poor choice of words and apologized. Your choice to not be a sponsor of Mr. Limbaugh's show is fine with me. That's business. Your business decision is now responsible for my choosing not to patronize you. No hate involved - it's just business.

  7. This is not a good business decision on Quickens part. The left degrades women all the time. I did not hear one peep from you about that.. Your corporation will pay the price for this

  9. Rush has a very interesting opinion that he is free to say on his radio program. sure he should have probably stated it differently but he didn't. he is known for stating whats on his mind and not censoring it. He is a commentator. Its his job. What woman needs that many condoms. Its not my responsibility to pay for someone else's sexual habits. What university student would have such a high tuition and not have the financial stability to buy it themselves. If you don't have the money to buy it yourself you don't need it. It shows irresponsibility.

Quicken Loans Sponsors the Mike Malloy Show here what he said about the dead of suffered and died in the recent tornadoes. Tell me this is not appalling and tell me quicken loans shouldn't pull their sponsorship.
Are you still proud of Quicken Loans?

  11. it is a travesty that you have allowed your company to be removed from over 20 million potential customers. Your short sighted illogical decision is based on a political push by the very same group of people that back the wall street protest, the folks that are the have nots and the ones that want to take from those that have. Now how many liberal lefties do you think are going to use your service?

The majority of those complaining are still living at home with their parents, are in college coming out with 100k of debt and no job prospects and if they have their way not only will they never have a credit rating high enough to secure a loan they will be the ones at your door step with pitchforks calling for your destruction....

Nice plan... Idiots... as they pat you on the back they will be looking for the soft spot

  12. thank you for your principled stand against ignorance, misogyny, and hate speech. these unforgivable comments supporting limbaugh's ravings only serve to define the lack of character and moral fiber of the posters.

  14. Recently when I heard you had withdrawn your ads from the Rush Limbaugh show, I was “extremely” disappointed! I listen to Rush as often as I can. Although I do not always agree with his point of view, I do admire him as a person and his ability to withstand the abuse he has faced because of his conservative views.

I find it VERY offensive that some think it is perfectly fine to call Sarah Palin names, but a hasty reference to promiscuity from Limbaugh is condemned.

Shame on companies like yours who have pulled their ads from the Rush Limbaugh show! Sadly, you will regret the decision you’ve made and waiting too long to rectify that decision may come too late.

From the looks on this Blog, I am not alone in my disappointment in your decision to pull your ads on Rush’s show. Quicken Loans has been taken off my list of Service Providers. Should you decide to once again advertise on Rush's radio show, I will reconsider my decision but not until then. Shame on you!!

  15. You have recently pulled your advertising from the Rush Limbaugh program. SHAME ON YOU! The Limbaugh show MADE your company what it is today. Without advertising on his show we wouldn't know you exist!
Rush made an inappropriate comment last week and has apologized. What more do you want? Others have made even more vile profane comments regarding Sarah Palin and nothing was done, it simply went away.
You are encouraging this double standard by pulling your advertising. You must realize that you will lose more business with this move than gain.
I would ask that you rethink your position on this and continue to advertise on one of the most listened to talk radio shows in America.
I will never shop at your stores or use your services and will persuade my friends and family to do same. For your business sake and for the sake of this country. Do not become part of the problem.

  16. Now I am gleefully happy I cancelled my Quicken credit card and did not proceed to apply for another! You betcha we will not refinance, apply for any credit, or ever use you again - we will use the advertiser that REPLACES you on Rush's show.

  17. It is disappointing to know that your company has decided to pull advertising from the Rush Limbaugh radio broadcast.

As with many opinionated broadcast and news anchors, listeners do not always agree with what is being said nor how it may be said. But when it is, it is appreciated when an apology, whether accepted or not, is offered.

I would like to think that this action is not politically motivated as there have been many comments on the 'left' that have been just as offensive; reference Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, Michelle Bachman, just to name a few. Maybe it was considered acceptable then because it aligns with your core beliefs. There are many who consider your business that are on both sides of the political spectrum and some that could care less one way or the other, does that matter when they are buying from you?

I assume the corporations' reasoning for advertising with Rush was because of his immense audience. Surely your company realized there would be controversial moments. It would be naive to think there wouldn't be. Just a thought, why lose sight of your motivation to begin with? Leave the politics out of it. There are always repercussions. Will turning off to certain listeners achieve your end goal? Your company will have to decide that.

  18. Although what Rush said was wrong, he apologized. But if Quicken Loans can't forgive him and continue advertising, then I will wait for them to do so before I use your services. And I will encourage all I know, to do the same.

  22. Sorry that you have pulled your advertising from Rush Limbaugh's radio show.

There must have been a lot of pressure, because Rush apologized and I have never heard Bill Maher or Jon Stewart apologize for the unspeakable things they say about conservative females.

Certainly it is your choice and I am thankful that you and I have the freedom to disagree on this.

    Thank you,

  23. Boycott Quicken Loans and those who dropped Rush.

In the past I and my family tried to do business with sponsors of Rush Limbaugh to show our support of him. Now we will make it a point not to do business with the sponsors who bailed on Rush. Most of my crowd is saying the same thing.

  24. We are refinancing our mortgage this year and had planned to use your company. However, with the recent actions pulling your advertising from the Rush Limbaugh's radio show we will be looking to another company.
We will also advise our friends and families not to use your company.

  25. As a Company your success is not based on public opinion but on public spending and as such one must be careful not to publicly expose your political standing by taking one side against the other but that is just what you did by pulling your ads from the Rush Limbaugh show. First of all I must say that I do not agree with the terminology that Rush used in discussing Ms. Flukes speech and I told him so but he is not the first person to use derogatory statements regarding women. I am sick and tired of the double standard that exists. If you are a Liberal then you can say whatever you want about whomever you want and it goes unnoticed but if your aren’t a Liberal and you do the same thing then Advertisers pull their ads. Why is that? Truth be told, if Companies pulled their ads every time someone said something that wasn’t up to their standards then there would be no ads and if there was fairness in doing this then that is how it should be right about now. Your actions have sent a message loud and clear to the American public and the results of those actions won’t be helpful in keeping your numbers in the black. When people listen to talk shows whether it be on the radio or on the Television they don’t always agree with what they hear but they continue to watch or listen and the fact that you pulled your ad won’t stop me or many other people from listening to Rush Limbaugh but it will stop me from purchasing your product and I’m not the only one. I am very disappointed in the stance you took. It’s your loss not mine!

  26. Quicken, a seriously bad move on your part. At least Rush apologized. Be happy that you still have the freedom to do what you want to do because... you are supporting the same group that will one day take that freedom away and then maybe you will realize the mistake you made.

  28. You have the freedom to advertise with whom ever you please. Thankfully, I have the right to buy from whom ever I please. That will not be you. I assume you made your decision based on your stockholder's interest. If that proves to be a bad decision, you have only yourselves to blame. If it works out to your betterment then good for you. If any of you attempt to come back, I hope he does not accept you as advertisers. BTW, as a student of the EIB Institute for Advanced Learning...shouldn't I be entitled to free stuff from you advertisers? Some of your products, "as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school."

  29. As a loyal Rush Limbaugh listener I’m very disappointed with your companies decision to pull your sponsorship from the Rush Limbaugh Show over the Sandra Fluke contraceptive controversy.

The fact that your company has chosen to cave-in to threats of extortion form a minute faction of the far left-wing Liberal minority faction is deeply disturbing to me.

Surely when your company chose to be a sponsor of the Rush Limbaugh show you were aware of the politically conservative and some times controversial nature of Rush’s show. It should have been no surprise to you that Rush always responds to the absurd with absurdly. Rush may have gone a little to far this time with his choice of words in the Sandra Fluke contraceptive issue, but he was right on in substance addressing the absurd with absurdly.

Unless your company restores it’s sponsorship / advertising campaign with Rush Limbaugh’s and Clear Channel Communications Network it will leave me with no chose other then to boycott your company and it products

What do you call a woman who has so much sex she can't afford birth control? And since when is it OUR responsibality to pay for it? I, nor anyone in my household will ever use any of your products ever again. You people are weak spineless cowards, & you will get what you deserve with the client base you choose to support.

  35. Quicken Loans is the worst company to do business with. They equate speed with quality. Quicken must pay high wages for the amount of work that is done; use to be called "piece work". they promised to take money out of my account on one day and did it another; now they have put me in a position that I must declare bankruptcy. People be careful when you jump into this shark pool

  37. What kind of company are you that you lead someone on that you will give them a mortgage and 2 day before the expected close date you deny the loan. You pre-qualified the loan and the denied it with the same information that you approved the prequalification. Merry Christmas, now my daughter and her family have 3 weeks to move. Not only did you lead my daughter on but you lead on the current home owners. This all happened in Harperferry (Bakerstown)West Virginia. So the money and hard work she spent getting the house ready( per your representative direction), she will loose. Useless corporate America, Thanks for nothing.
