  1. I have recently contacted your outlet located at 39th and Main St. in Kansas City, MO. I had spoken with the manager named Lynn. I am writing to comment upon the low level of employee the your company has harbored. I found her to hesitant to answer any of my questions; short tempered, hurried and crass. Such rude and flippant attitude is a deturrant from a desire to work for you. Yours Truly, Anonymous 8/24/2012

  2. let me tell yous about my experience today,i called labor ready in loveland colo,i was told if i came into there office between 8am 4pm,they would start a application , how ever when i arrived the doors were locked, a note on the door read, gone to lunch.at 11.00am?i waited 2 hours ,waiting like all the perspective laborers, who were waiting.many very upset for waiting on a unlocked office, left unsatisfied .finally they came back, while waiting for service, they were talking to each other, about a baby shower, not paying attention to me what so ever, i respectively asked for there help,i was asked for two forms of id,of course i gave my valid license and my valid veterans id , much to my surprise, they refused my military id ,shocked by this,i asked, why?again the topic about a baby shower continued ,again no professional help,so i asked do you serve veterans, well i guess i was interrupting there girl talked,by then i could not wait for there assistants ,next thing i heard was were going on a smoke break, well now im shocked to here we can not help you.so i ask you vets to respond and share your thoughts, mean while im hiring a attorney to give me the respect i and my fellow vets deserve,so girls please enjoy your party, for after all your fellow vets gave you that opportunity, thank them then apologize, for you are the rudest employment agency in the united states,so keep up the great work ,NOT.POST IF YOUR SHOCKED AND AHH.SO PLEASE LABOR READY FEEL FREE TO FIRE THEM,BEFORE I REACH THE COURT HOUSE.

  7. I have recently relocated from Amarillo to El Paso Tx. have also worked in Tacoma Wa. with labor ready and have found some very good jobs with very good pay, since ive arrived in el paso I have been told that Labor Ready does not pay a prevailing wage and only pays the minimun (7.25). When i asked about this i was laughed at by the staff, I have also witnessed the dispatch staff for L.R. verbally abusing its employees, why is this all allowed to happen and what will be done to change it, A.S.A.P.

  8. Labor Ready on eastern ave in Baltimore MD sucks. They have there picks. Lesbian sends out who she wants when she feels like it,pays no attention to the sign in sheet. If you make them upset they do not send you out. Jeremy is suppose to be the manager and does nothing. They lie to you about the pay. I been told some people pay them to stay on tickets. They give any one a floggers card.

  14. Pompano office employees are inept, inconsiderate and ignorant. I really do not want to get into too many specifics for fear of loosing what little work is sent my way. However, in the few short weeks I have been there, I have been lied to, given wrong directions, wrong or no equipment and payed a lower rate than what was printed on my ticket. There is much more but as I said, I'm afraid of losing what little work I do get.

  15. The Labor Ready in Tallahassee is not fair or an equal opportunity employer for temporary work. The people that come in and sign in are the ones that should go out on an assignment but they hardly ever do.. They save tickets for people and call people from their house to see if they want to go on a ticket.

  20. IF YOU ARE A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER OF LABOR READY I SUGGEST YOU RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!

I am a project manager for a large real estate development company in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I just contacted the local Labor Ready office in Mesquite Texas and spoke to a woman named "Alex". I can tell you she was one of the rudest office personnel I have ever spoken with. She was screaming at me and simultaneously screaming at people in the office. I only wanted information about contracting with Labor Ready. She kept interrupting me and finally I had had enough and just disconnected the call. I will not use their services now. EVER. Labor Ready needs to do a better job with the quality of the people they hire.

Two different occasions I was contacted to work for the week end and responded immediately only to wait for 5 hours both times and the first time was told they filled the position and second time they never responded back to me .I never had problems with labor ready in any other state or city other than here in Tucson Arizona 6th Avenue branch. I am finished with you people and intend to smear your reputation.

e concern I have is the lack of concern of pay. I work for this company yet there is a problem with getting the right amount owed after doing the work. Im on a weekly ticket and find that I cant get paid when I need to because of incorrect hourly payment. There isnt a problem with me reporting to work why is there a problem with paying me the correct hourly amount.
Joe's response rude, uncaring and commented "its not that much money."

  23. Im just wondering how much these dispatchers share your information. Paycard, social security, drivers liscense info? I mean thats alot of information we trust them with. I mean they got cam err as on them but is it to protect them or is it to protect us. Who's in the more vulnerable position?

  24. They should put a camera behind the desk to keep an view of there phone calls and internet use.I herd them talking about my son?,mother and purchas history. So a group is talking about me? <which is something to think about.or there sharing my personal info? Either way its being missed used. So if someone listens to my phone conversations and talks about it to someone else? Trust seems to be a major issue.

  25. I used to work at a wonderful branch in Norwalk, CT. Branch 1818. We had the longest record for no accidents-5 years straight!!!
Then, two black women were doing the dispatching. They were the best! Everyone got a chance to work! If you messed up on a job, they would make you sit for a couple of days until you learned your lesson!
They both went elsewhere to work, thats' when my branch went to hell! They hired this clown Angel Castellano to dispatch! This piece 'a shit only sends out his relatives and favorites. He's Puerto Rican, so all the spanish always get jobs!
The branch manager supports this piece 'o shit, and lets him do what he wants. I left, and now I am happy! Labor Ready gave me the chance to learn and grow in my career! Thanks Mr. Wayne! RIGHT ON!!!!

  26. Don't you drug test your temps before sending them on a job. And can your employees tell a temp to use their spouses car knowing that their separated. And do you only have 1 driver to two passengérs in the car and they know its too many drivers.this is at the Lawton Labor Ready . And the temps smoke weed on the job site. And you have temps sleeping or stealing things from the job site.

  29. I used to work out of Branch 1818 in South Norwalk, CT. We had the best 2 dispatchers ever! Nancy and Syreeta! They won customer service trophies for 4 years straight. Also, our branch won an award for 5 years without an accident!
I learned how to do so many things in my 10 years at Labor Ready. I even got hired by a customer awhile back and left branch 1818.But, in 2009, Mary Nevis and Angel Castellano started dispatching. They would only send out their friends, family and favorites. I would sit in a chair every day for weeks, watching everyone else get work. They are the 2 sorriest KLOWNS I ever saw in my LIFE!I am glad I don't work there - but Labor Ready as a whole is a good place to go to learn how to work!
If you follow the core values -you will NEVER go Wrong. THANK U!
[Angel Castellano ruined a good branch- he isn't worthy as a human being. It is sad - but there's nothing I can do LEGALLY - to STOP angel castellano!]

  30. This is possibly the worst company on earth.. Try answering your phone when you have new applicants filling out your confusing online start up forms my e signature has been pending for a week. Tried calling the office left messages for the last 4 days well 5 including today. You would think that someone would have called me back by now considering they make money off of getting other people work but here I am still waiting... WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Thank god I found a job today or I would still be (pending) waiting on Labor Ready... You guys will soon be out of business if you keep treating people like this.. I wouldn't wish this company on my worse enemy..

  31. Branch 1818 in South Norwalk, CT used to be the BEST! Never had to wait, the dispatchers would clean out the office(send out everyone who came in)first, then make phone calls. This all changed when A.C. started dispatching. Absolutely one of the worst human beings on this planet. He is sneaky, and always makes sure his relatives get work, WOW!Explain that one, why don'tcha!

  34. I started Labor Ready in 2004. My first branch manager was a man named Joe. This guy would drive us to a jobsite if there was no transportation available. And one time he even worked with us to finish a job!
About 2008 two new dispatchers were hired. Two Hispanic ones. All their friends and relatives got ALL the work. I was in the office one morning with 5 other guys, praying that I'd at least get 4 hours of work. Sure enough the phone rang asking for 4 workers, and the Hispanic woman got on her cellphone and called 4 of her friends to come to work when there were 5 of us sitting there in the office! Needless to say I went home!!!
It is the Branch Managers and the Dispatchers that set the TONE and FLOW of the workplace. When you have Hostile and Rude ones-everyone LOSES!
I was blessed to have a good one for awhile, and I still use the knowledge and skills I learned at my new career to this day! You go, Labor Ready! Go Boy!!!

I found this to be a lie. I even went to employee customer service and was danced around to my,current unemployment. Location: Chattanooga. I do hope not all locations operate the same. 39. I have been a customer of labor ready longer than you have worked for them. unless you have been there more than 21 years. You hire out the dregs, the meth heads, the drunks. God Bless You!! I have called within 2 hours many a time for replacements for workers who could not operate a flat shovel. I am working with Gregory Cladwell out of the Albany NY office. I need a couple laborers to help me tear down a small deck. He qoutes me $30 per hour based on the comp code 9521, a code that deals with window dressers and upholsters? I can get a finish carpenter for $27 an hour. Do his guys have the same skill set and ability? So at $30 an hour I can leave your guys with my power tools and come back in 3 hours to take my loaded truck to the dump?? I'm ROFLMAO too. So in the end, is management on the same plane as your workers? By the way still waiting on a call from Gregory, will he make the sale??

  43. I have dealt with Labor Ready in Fife Washington. The staff is very rude Shelly being the main one. Just out right rude. There is no level of professionalism in that office at all. You work for them and they pay you when they get ready. If you call to inquire about your payment you don't get any straight answers on top of the flat out rudeness and lies. On several occasions I have waited over 3 days for payment, and I'm not counting the weekend. To bad no one at this huge company cares about their employees or their clients enough to treat people with kindness and respect. Needless to say but I would never recommend anyone to do business with this company on any level l.

  50. the manager dominic in the pawtucket ri branch 1871 is the worse. he is totally unqualified for his position, does not work for the workers of this branch at all. he is unethical, he discriminates, he lies, he does not follow any procedures or policies of the labor ready company and has made this branch intolerable. i cant understand how it is still in business? he will pay one worker a ton of overtime while not sending others out who were asked back at certain jobs, he can not be trusted with any thing that comes out of his mouth. until corporate cares nothing is going to change and thats to bad because lives do change here, lives can get better, but everyone has to follow the rules. even managers. we even recently had two dedicated workers die and this branch did not care less to even get a card. what kind of company is this? throwing peoples boots out, because they were in a tupperware in the office. well where do you think this tupperware came from? the staff before you, because there was a need. but what do you care? i have story after story of issues this branch has due to the lack of professionalism the manager has. until dominic is gone, alot wont be returning. thats a shame.
