    3. Horrific "customer service"! After they simply did not deliver the flowers I sent to my mom for MOTHERS DAY (you can imagine how many brownie points I won for that blunder), they sent me an email promising a complimentary arrangement. Since their reply wasn't until May 28th, sending her Mothers Day flowers wasn't an option and I replied to them that I would use the comp at a later date. 3 hours' time on the phone, two days' worth of calls, at least 6 different "customer service" reps later, I THINK they're going to honor their offer as they've assured me the flowers I now need will make it on time to the funeral home. What is wrong with this company?

    6. I had a horrible experience using this service and will advise my friends against using this service. The issue started with me ordering some flowers and a cbox of chocolates for my boyfriend's mom on her birthday. First of all, I did not receive any updates during the day it was to be delivered. After not hearing from the service at all and from my boyfriend's mother, I contacted customer service only to be told that they could not find the flowers I wanted and therefore they were not able to deliver. I never received an email or a phone call, I would have requested a different bouquet if I had received a phone call. This was an absoulte horrible experience!!!!!

  4. I have to agree. I place so many orders with Teleflora and last week ordered flowers for a coworker. First time I got to see their product. It looked like a child assembled it at a cost of $80. It was embarrassing. Sent an email (no reply) and am now on hold for well over 9 minutes with no answer. They are terrible.

  6. A horrible experience. My order was cancelled, but my card's been charged. I waited on the phone over 30 mins with hidious music playing while holding. Called their headquarter office number, a woman picked up, and as soon as i started to say my problem with the order, she hang up. Never do business with them! Hope they will be out of business soon.

  7. Ordered Mother's Day flowers. Got a voice mail at 1600 on Saturday saying that they could not fill my order and that it was being cancelled. No options to go another route since it was too late from other companies. No offer to delay delivery. 1-800 phone staff arrogant, rude, and not customer sensitive. A bush league company

This company is a joke don't waste your time or money doing business with them they had the nerve to call me yesterday from a Oklahoma telephone number after i sent them a not so nice email I advised them I checked with the Thomasville Flower Shop and the owner and another person took time over 20 minutes searching for the order even took time to call the drivers and guess what Teleflora never submitted one! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY USE THE FLOWER SHOPS DIRECTLY!!! I'm so pissed I've taken to the Internet to make sure I let everyone know including the BBB! Please if you want your delivery made don't use them they could careless and will lie to you about their mistake!

  9. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from them. Terrible place to order flowers. Ordered flowers for delivery obn May 11th, Friday and still have not received anything but promises and a stupid discount. I want my flowers and my money back for screwing up my daughter's mother's day. DON'T USE THEM!

  10. I too have had a very bad experience using this company for the first time to send flowers to my mother for Mother's Day. The wrong flowers were delivered on the wrong day. Apparently, they said they tried to deliver them, but did not leave them with a neighbor so they left them in the delivery vehicle all night and delivered the next day. There was very little water in the vase. The flowers were starting to wilt. We called immediately and we were told a new arrangement would go out. We waited 24 hours and my mom had still not received her flowers. We called again. We were hung up on the first time. The second time we were on the phone for over 1.5 hours and now I am on hold with the corporate office. I will defintely go back to FTD who was always done a great job!

  13. I AM GOING TO WRITE THIS REVIEW IN CAPS BECAUSE, YES, I AM SHOUTING...I ORDERED FLOWERS ON TUESDAY MORNING FOR DELIVERY THAT DAY TO MY HUSBAND WHO HAD A HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE ER. THE FLOWERS NEVER SHOWED ON TUESDAY. I CALLED WEDNESDAY AND WHEN TELEFLORA CALLED THE FLORIST, THEY SAID THEY TRIED TO DELIVER - LIARS! TELEFLORA TOLD ME THEY WOULD TRY AGAIN WEDNESDAY TO DELIVER. I CALLED BACK TO BE SURE THAT THEY HAD ALL INSTRUCTIONS CORRECT. CALLED AT 5:30pm AND FLOWERS STILL WERE NOT DELIVERED. CALLED THURSDAY AND SPENT 50 MINS ON THE PHONE WITH TELEFLORA AND WAS ASSURED THAT FLOWERS WOULD BE DELIVERED THURSDAY AND AT MY REQUEST, FROM ANOTHER FLORIST. GUESS WHAT - NO FLOWERS FRIDAY EITHER. BOTTOM LINE - DO NOT USE TELEFLORA!!!

  14. I also wish I had not ordered the Christmas featured flowers. I am handicapped and need to arrange with someone to run special errands. Dec.6th, I sent someone to order, pay for and set a delivery date. Total cost,$122 and change. Dec 21 I am to get my flowers. Mid morning I called the florist just to see if they remembered my order and was told the flowers were in a van for delivery and I should have them around lunch hour. Good, up in Canada where I live it is -20C so they had better be in a heated van. 2:30 I call again, still no flowers and am told there are 20 vans so wait. Shortly after I get a call from the florist, where do I live.....DUH.....you have my address! The flowers showed up at 5:30, being in a van shuffled around all day in the cold so you only have to guess at the blackened edged roses, but worse than that, the arrangement wasn't anything like advertised. Where are the holyberries, oh, wait, I found 5.....2 on a cut stem and 3 on the top half of that stick. No more of anything. I was so disappointed, I cried. The florist said bring them back and they would change what was frosted. How did they expect me to do that? Get in my none powered wheelchair with flowers on my lap in this freezing weather? The idea of pre- ordering for someone like me is the only way and all needs to be ARRANGED in advance. NEVER AGAIN. And those roses and the picture of what I SHOULD have received will be there for all to see over the holidays. A true testament to this companies worth.

    1. Hello, and you are correct; however, the other online florists with whom i've had experience are not to be trusted either! Support local florists IF you can afford the same paltry flowers AT PREMIUM PRICES (and sometimes seemingly arranged by untrained temp labor)!
There HAS to be somewhere respectable yet affordable to order flowers??? Someone tell us, please -in time for next Mother's Day???

  18. Oh how I wish I had read these reviews before ordering...lesson learned. I ordered a $60 flower arrangement for delivery the same day, when I entered the order it said it was available the same day. Later that day I received an email stating the order could not be delivered that day. So I opted for delivery the next day, being understanding that things happen. Now today I was notified that the order cannot be delivered at all and that the florist was demanding additional money because the delivery was (out of their serving area)!!! Totally unacceptable! Customer service did nothing to help me either... said they could do nothing about it... total BS! What a poor way to treat a customer - guess I will stick to 800flowers.com or proflowers.com.

-another customer who got screwed by Teleflora

  19. Customer service... what customer service? Why do they have people answering the phone that do not even have the ability to conceptualize in English... just how are we supposed to properly communicate? Called back 4 times to correct a so called "billing issue" and still not corrected... put on hold for twenty minutes after asking for a supervisor... and then again for another 10 mins and still was never able to speak to one... UNACCEPTABLE!

    ReplyDelete
  20. You would think that something as simple as ordering flowers for Valentine's Day could turn into a three day testament to incompetence.

I received an offer through Fingerhut using my account there to order flowers through Teleflora.
I placed the order on line and it was accepted.... two days later I received a call from Telflora telling me that my Fingerhut billing was being denied... so I called Fingerhut and was told that there was no issue with my account, but the rep told me that I need to give them the "expiration date" of 12/13 along with the account number, which I was never asked for by Teleflora... Teleflora also stated that my Fingerhut billing was not being accepted because it was "delinquent" which is a complete lie. Once again I called Teleflora who verified my Fingerhut account info and stated that they could not tell at this point whether the billing would be accepted in the system, but would give me a return call later to verify that it was okay... they never called me back. I called again today and was told that there was still an issue with my billing so I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being put on hold for twenty minutes, the rep tried to reassure me, which I was not, that the issue had been fixed. I gain requested a supervisor and the rep just kept trying to reassure me that all was well. I was finally told that there was none available.

Bad customer service in itself is one thing, but to add to the frustration the reps answering the phone have difficulty even conceptualizing in the English language... every time that I was put on hold the rep kept saying, "for awhile" and did not seem to understand why I wanted to speak to a supervisor when she had supposedly fixed the issue.

When there is an obvious consumer issue and the consumer cannot even speak to a higher up to attempt to get it resolved, that is a major issue... and when you have those on the front line representing your company that lack the basic ability to effectively communicate in the English language you shouldn't be doing business in the United Sates of America.

    1. Looks like I am not the only one who has experienced horrible customer service and also the arrangement was nothing like what I ordered. Was not able to complete on line order and then took forever to complete the order by phone. Then I find out two names were spelled incorrectly and she put down the wrong address. When I called to straighten out the information, I it again took forever to relay the proper information. Spent way, way too long on hold also. Whole experience terrible!!!

    2. OH MY I WISH I HAD COME ON HERE BEFORE I ORDERED FLOWERS FROM THESE FRAUDULANT BUSINESS PEOPLE! Didn't deliver my Valentine's Day flowers, then when I called my for refund they refused to email me any type of confirmation of the refund. I checked my account a week later and the refund still hadn't been taken care of. I was put on hold a minimun of 15 minutes every time I called and couldn't get them to put a supervisor on the phone. My flowers came a week later and when I called to ask for my refund and then said by the way the darn flowers just got here A WEEK LATE they said that they HAD TO COME PICK THEM UP! DISGUSTING!!!!!!! I honestly don't know how they are still in business!Thank God that what goes around comes around because some day they will get theirs!

  21. I will never again order from Teleflora again.I oredered my daughter flowers and when she sent me a picture of them it was nothing like what I had ordered, not even the colors. I paid $75.00 for the arrangement and what they sent looked like what you would buy from a street vendor. I called customer service and the customer service representative agreed they they looked nothing like what I had ordered.Well would you believe what they suggested to me,they said they would go to the office where my flowers were delivered and pick them up.Imagine you send floweres they walk into the building and take the flowers off the desk.I could only imagine how embarrased my daughter would be if they did that.So Telaflora got over on yet another customer. UNBELIEVABLE Then they said after they take them back, they then would send a new arrangement.Good business would send the new arrangement especially when they agreed what was sent was nothing like what I ordered,I will NEVER deal with Teleflora again. BEWARE

They obviously only have two uneducated, morons that lack the ability to logically deduce answer customer service calls. They could give a crap less that their lack to perform ruined the beginning of wonderful anniversary. Im clearly going to have to dispute the charges with my CC. To summarize...it will be a waste of time and effort to order flowers from this "trunk slammer" "business"

  25. People must understand that any wire service, Teleflora-FTD-!-800-Flowers and many others don't arrange any flowers or do any work except to deceive and fool the consumer with false advertising and lies-lies-lies! They sell the public an arrangement in a picture that the consumer looks and says, WOW that looks great! And only $49.95 Although after you see it in real life you see something completely different!! Any of these wire services take from the florist who is filling the order up to 60% away from them and pocketing the money themselves and that is why you see truly what you get!! Don't blame it on your local florist they are hard working people and most truly work hard to make a dollar!! Blame the wire service organizations and the big box stores for duping the public! Go to Costco and order flowers for a funeral, HAHA WISE UP CONSUMER and only go to your LOCAL FLORIST!

  26. HI MY NAME IS MS. JASPER, I RESIDE IN ATLANTA GA. I PLACED AN ORDER FOR FLOWERS TO BE DELIVERED TO A FUNERAL HOME IN KASAS CITY, MISSOURI, AS I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND MY AUNT'S FUNERAL SERVICE. I GAVE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS THAT MY FLOWERS BE DELIVERED TO THE ADDRESS I PROVEDED, THE FLORIST GAVE THEIR DRIVER OTHER INSTRUCTIONS AND DELIVERED MY FLOWERS TO A CHURCH THAT MAY OR MAY HAVE NOT HAD THE SERVICES FOR MY AUNT. BUT I DIDN'T PAY FOR THEM TO GO TO ANY CHURCH. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR AT TELEFLORA, THAT AS LONG AS THEY WERE DELIVERED TO WHERE EVER THE FLORIST HAD THEM SENT, WHY AM I COMPLAINING. WELL, I DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET WHAT I PAID FOR, AND FURTHERMORE IT WAS RUDE OF HER TO HAVE SAID IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. SECONDLY, I WOULD SAY THAT I WILL TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER USE THIS FLORAL SERVICE AGAIN. TRY SOMEONE ELSE

  27. Shame on all of you. How many of you that complained about the service waited til the last minute to order. With so many bad things that happen in this world daily. You want to try to live your life better. Develop cancer, aids, congestive heart failure, etc, then you can complain. Make use of your time more productive. Oh, and pay it forward. That doesn't cost a cent.... just saying.....

I called customer service on 5/10 pm, 5/11am & pm and 5/12am & pm regarding this
Matter, I even emailed these people regarding same and I Have gotten nothing. At one point they offered me a 10% discount on this order I never received the discount nor the flowers. I got so
sick and tired of this whole thing that I contacted teleflora and cancelled. Now I have to
wait 3 to 5 days for the refund, and that is according customer service. Need I say more!
This is the worse experience I have had ordering anything.

  29. Same story. Ordered a week before the Mother's Day rush. No flower delivery. Called and said the flowers would be delivered the following day, no delivery. This scenario was then repeated over the next three days. No Flowers. On the day before Mother's Day, I was then told the flowers would be delivered the following week, AFTER MOTHER'S DAY!!! I then asked to cancel my order and speak to a supervisor. Initially, I couldn't even get a supervisor on the phone until I threatened to call their Corporate Office. The supervisor did nothing and seemed not to care. He did for the first time after five different customer service calls and two web chats mention my order did not meet the minimum order. However, I ordered from their website and even upgraded my order. They took my money and nothing was ever said about a minimum. Now I wait and pray for my money to be returned.

I had requested it be delivered the Thursday before Mother's day because I knew how busy the florists would be on Mother's Day. I charged this onto my Chevron/Texaco card to get a discount. Never got the discount. Not that big of deal. But I was promised 30%, then 4% and then 50% off my order because of the all of the "Blank" I went through with customer service and the order being delivered a week late. Well it is now July 6th and still no refund. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with them total and still no resolution. My case has been sent to the credit department, the presidents office and several other places and nothing has been done. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 33. WOW, wish I had seen this before I placed an order. I ordered a small beautiful festive Christmas arrangement for my best friend. What she received was NOTHING AT ALL even close to the Teleflora picture. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! The ad description said and showed "variegated holly leaves, fat red jardin vase, sprigs of red berries, various pine sprigs etc." NONE of this was in the arrangement. She received a tall clear plain vase, half of the flower amount, no holly, LOTS of fern leaves and other generic green leaves. The whole thing was pathetic & cheap looking. Apparently TELEFLORA is starting a new Christmas theme "The Ugly Christmas Arrangement"

  35. I wish I had read these comments before placing my order. I've spent the better part of 2 days trying to get resolution. On Feb. 13, I ordered flowers to be delivered to my father's 91 year old girlfriend on Valentines Day. Since he had passed away last August and this was her first Valentines Day without him, I thought it was important that she receive the yellow roses he always sent her. Needless to say, today is Feb. 15, and she still hasn't received them. That in itself is bad enough, but Teleflora actually sent an e-mail to me saying they were hand delivered on Feb. 14. After spending 2 hours on the phone last night and the better part of this morning, I couldn't rely on them any longer to process this order; so I cancelled it. I will absolutely NEVER do business with this company again!!
