Checked into motel in Cameron Park CA on 7/24. Room was awful—carpet stained, filthy, and torn in places; window shear curtains shredded and outer ones off the track; fridge/freezer dirty and barely working; bathroom window propped open by a piece of plastic and no screen; linens dingy and stained; moved nightstand to plug in phone charger and there was no backing on it and had nails protruding! Had book for 2 nights with possibility of 3, but after complainant checked out after one night. Was billed incorrectly and have not been able to resolve with customer service. Asked for supervisor and info not forthcoming. Have a case number and offered to provide photos which haven’t been accepted. Filed Better Business Bureau complaint. Trying to post pix, but not all posted and some that did are incorrect and I can’t delete. Contact me to resend, please.

This place was a dive. We checked in and went to our room and it was a smoking room. I would never have intentionally rented Quality Inn at Orlando International Airport!

a smoking room. I pulled up the reservation and it did say smoking room. I didn’t even think hotels had smoking rooms anymore. Went back to the lobby and he did change me to a non smoking room. We went in and it smelled of smoke but not as bad as the first room. There was also a cigarette burn in the comforter on the bed. When we originally checked in there were workers outside eyeing us up and they were smoking heavily. I did not feel safe there. Since it was late and we were leaving at 5:00am we did stay in the room. I was miserable because I could smell smoke all night and it was disgusting. Also, the TV did not work and my husband had to attach the cable because it wasn’t hooked up. Also, the snack machine was out of order.

We were on second floor and there are no elevators so we had to haul 2 40# suitcases up cement stairs.

This place is really run down but the website looks like its brand new and has 3 – 5star ratings on the web page. This is totally misleading. Hard to find the bad reviews but I finally did today. Just wanted to let you know that this Quality Inn is not up to the standards I’m sure you would want. The whole place was disgusting. Ceiling in lobby looked bad and I wouldn’t have wanted to have breakfast in that area even if it was later. The room furnishings were okay but the sleeper sofa was really old but we did not use it.

Would never recommend this dump to anyone.

Quality Inn HQ - Theft Of Property By Hotel Staff

Left a bag with two tablets in our room, our fault. Found out we left them about 8 hours later….called the Hotel, front desk denied they were left in the room.. We know better and remembered right where we left them. Had a friend stop by to pick up the items, only for the front desk to again deny the items were there. No other complaints, room was fine, very good breakfast. Overall cleanliness was good. The total value of the loss around $250

Terrible! No security deposit return!

It smelled like substances. There were bed bugs in the bed, I slept on the floor. Everything was filthy. The customer service was terrible, everyone was super rude. The WiFi barely worked if at all. I have still not gotten my security deposit back even though it was supposed to take max 3 days and has now been 5 days.

Check your bank statements! Quality Inn Michigan City didn’t refund our $100 deposit, although the Manager says it was. I provided proof in bank statements it wasn’t. Asked her for a reference # from their third-party processor, which she won’t provide. Filed a complaint with Choice, who could verify they weren’t seeing the deposit return, but then did nothing about it!! Why have a complaint dept that doesn’t look into or do something about issues? Filing a legal complaint for unauthorized use of our card, for transactions on our card from them in November, yet the stay and initial deposit withdrawal was in July!! Again, the manager cant seem to explain this or find out why! Shame on the Quality Brand for not caring what these owners and staff are doing to their reputation!
