    2. As a frequent user of Proflowers, I have been totally satisfied with their servcice and products, however, I find that their knee-jerk, liberal decision to stop advertising on the Limbaugh Show is unnacceptable. Limbaugh's comments were crude, but warranted. If the only way to show my displeasure if to stop using ProFlowers, so be it.

    3. I'm not going to support ProFlowers because of their removing advertising from Rush Limbaugh. You all need to look up the definition of slut - "Someone who admits to having as much sex as Georgetown U. student Sandra Fluke". If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.

    6. We have used Proflowers since Rush began advertising them. It saddens my husband and I that Proflowers has decided to kowtow to the politically correct minority and cancel you sponsorship of Rush. Rush has exhibited more than twenty years of integrity and after one misstatement, for which he apologized, your company caved to the selective, double standard, moral outrage of the left. Please be aware that the millions of people who listen to Rush are loyal and often affluent. If dropping your sponsorship is permanent, we will be forced to consider your actions on our next purchase and discourage others as well (my entire family and many friends are loyal Rush listeners.)

    7. Rush's commercials for Proflowers was the only reason I chose to order from them. I regret that they have dropped their advertisement on his show and in doing, exhibited that there is no room in their minds for someone to misspeak, feel regret and apologize. Sort of ironic that one of the reasons many people send flowers is for APOLOGY and trying to mend an uncomfortable situation! You can stop sending me the endless trail of email adverstisements...I'm dropping Proflowers.

    9. I disagree with your recent decision to sever ties with Rush Limbaugh. I’m just amazed at the double standard in the American media. Last spring Ed Schultz of MSNBC called Laura Ingram a “right wing slut.” The difference is that Mr. Schultz meant his statement as a direct insult to Laura Ingram where Rush Limbaugh was just using his words as an analogy to prove his point against Americans having to pay for contraceptives for casual sex.

ProFlowers just showed how politically correct they are. Too bad conservatives out number progressives 2 - 1. Let the green back do the talking now. ProFlowers will never be seen the same since they went political.

    10. You do realize that your using your first amendment right just as Rush was using his don't you?

Rush Limbaugh eats, sleeps and drinks talk radio. Everyone in the country knows where he stands on issues. I don't listen to Rush to hear his commercials.

If you don't like Rush, change the dial but don't take it out on advertisers who in the long run, are just trying keep our economy going by selling their products, employing people and paying taxes.

Never received the promised "call back"from the Supervisor due the CSR response "no supervisor was available due to high volume of calls. Two years later i decided to give proflowers a chance to redeem their services but unfortunately i was let down again...the shipment arrived total diff order from what was purchesed...this order was placed Feb 10, 2012 to be shipped by Valentines Day...after contacting PF, they decided to issue me a credit and as of date i still haven't rec'd my refund

    2. If you are going to hold a company that has nothing to do with Rush Limbaugh responsible for his actions, you need to realize something....First, they buy advertising time. Second, they don't have any say about what he says. Third, if you didn't use ProFlowers in the first place, then shut up about who they advertise with until you pay all of their advertising costs and can bring in more money than that advertising.

As an American, in the good ole US of A, you can change the dial. That is if your so disgusted in someone telling the truth, over a 31 year old 'liberal plant'. Rush spoke for millions of men and women who are thinking exactly the words that he chose. Free birth control???? Give me a break. I could understand if it was blood pressure meds, or cancer meds, or any other medication that someone needed to (I almost said function, lol) survive. Do you know that our tax dollars, MY HARD EARNED MONEY, already goes to 'Planned Parenthood'. Do you know that Wal-Mart has birth control pills for $5.00? This woman is a liberal lair. You should be more upset about this woman purposely choosing this school only to fight it on it's birth control issues. Where is this woman's dignity? Rush did his job in calling a spade a spade and I commend him for speaking up for millions of Americans who can only stand by and watch as this country is being driven off a cliff.

    1. From your posting, I seriously doubt you are a Rush fan. If you were you would have been educated to the facts of this story rather parroting a liberal talk point. This is not and has never been about a woman's right to birth control. It is instead all about liberals changing the national dialogue from government over reach of the First Amendment protection of separation of church and state. News flash, Rush has sincerely apologized for using offensive words to describe this proven activist shill. But that doesn't change the truth of what he had to say. To Proflowers: I have been one of your best customers for many many years. That stops today! By linking to the Democrat Senatorial Campaign on your website, you are telling all of your (former) loyal customers exactly where you stand. Shame on you.

    5. First and foremost, most women do not use birth control as a contraceptive. I have been on birth control for over 7 years because I don't ovulate. My aunt was on birth control for 20 years because her endometriosis was so severe, she had to put trash bags on her car seats. Get educated. Read a book. Birth control is used for medicinal purposes as well. It's used for treating ovarian cysts, endometriosis, amenorrhea, dismenorrhea, and several other reproductive health problems, not just because a woman doesn't want to get pregnant. And I love how this debate is all about birth control pills. Maybe we should tell health professionals to stop handing out condoms. But wait, that wouldn't be fair! So ignorant.

  14. Let me just add to this by saying I have used Pro Flowers MANY times, as I live far away from all family, but I will NEVER, EVER, EVER use them again as long as they support Limbaugh, the pig.

  15. I,too, have used Pro-Flowers precisely BECAUSE of Rush Limbaugh. Although his comments were a bit over the top, he has apologized. If Pro-Flowers does not return as a sponsor of his show, I will never use them again, and I guarantee you that many who support Rush never will, either. And, for the record, his comments aside -- the woman in question is an embarrassment to Catholic women of true Faith everywhere, and as a Catholic woman, she represents neither me, nor anyone I know. Self-identified Catholic colleges and universities should NOT be providing items or support for causes that are directly against Catholic teaching. If you don't like it, don't call yourself a Catholic, and choose another school. And, by the way, the only reason I've signed as anonymous is because of the way this comments page is set up, not because I'm afraid of any of the vicious attacks that come to anyone who disagrees with the left.

  16. Rush Limbaugh is entitled to his opinion. Why can't this law student pay for her own contraception? I pay $1009 per month just for health insurance for the 3 people in my family, to the point that I cannot afford to see the doctor. Not to mention that my son can't o to college.

If this Georgetown Law student can afford to attend that prestigious school, she sure as heck can afford to pay for her own birth control. I don't ask her to pay for my choices, why should I pay for hers? All of you...get a grip and get back to work, and leave Rush Limbaugh alone to run his radio show as he chooses.

Maybe she should tell the guys to pay for her pills or condoms.
    Boycott Pro flowers!

  22. This is one woman who supports Rush. I will not be distracted from his point that 1)NO ONE should be paying for another's personal and optional choices such as birth control. 2)This is a totally contrived and manufactured debate; no one worried about paying for birth control until President Obama decided to make everyone pay for it. My own point is that this country has turned into one that treats a child as a disease and would rather "prevent" it (even kill it) rather than raise a life that would be a gift to the world. Sex, as the act that gives life and does not destroy it, itself is a gift and one that should not be abused. If Proflowers gives up on Rush, then I give up on Proflowers.

I called her earlier today to discuss your choice to make a statement by pulling your ads of of rush. As I feared your ad campaign helped us reach a rather large customer base, a base that is predominately educated, employed and have a sustainable income through the good and the bad enough so to continue to have enough disposable income to buy flowers.

Reflected above is the answer that I anticipated regarding our choice to continue to be associated with proflowers. So we will be dropping you and no longer be part of your network. You see we are going to make this decision based on business sense not a panic but measured response. How many liberal college kids living on their mommies and daddies and how many people that cant afford birth control are going to be able to afford to buy flowers.

Not the brightest choice you have ever made. I predict your business will suffer a whole lot more than Rush's revenue stream, you see 20 million listeners a day is going to be a tough audience to find some where.

We will be contacting you to terminate our association with your company.

  42. thank you for your principled stand against ignorance, misogyny, and hate speech. these unforgivable comments supporting limbaugh's ravings only serve to define the lack of character and moral fiber of the posters.
they are the ditto head, mindless, lemming, mindset of limbaugh's followers trying to save him from his own mess.

  43. As long as proflowers boycott Rush Limbaugh I will be boycotting proflowers, I used to use their services regularly, but since they want to censor free speech my business will go somewhere else. You made your choise and I made mine.

  44. To who it may concern:

I was totally surprised that you would even consider dropping Rush from your advertising due to a law student who has become Obama's poster child for his re-election campaign!!Everyone knows it is not about contraceptives as under Title Ten of the house services contraceptives are available to anyone who can not afford them in about 75% of all counties across the US. So...it is really about polictical hipocrasy and the liberal media supports it!!! take me off your email list and I will not use your service in the futue.

  45. I've frequently used proflowers for years and have been very happy. However, because proflowers has chosen to attack Rush Limbaugh's right to free speech (especially since he only spoke the truth)my business will go elsewhere now.

  46. I would like to see Hannity, Beck, and Savage all drop Pro Flowers and Sherri's Berries in solidarity. They should drop them and tell the advertisers that they will not be silenced. However, these guys will not turn down cash.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Although what Rush said was wrong, he apologized. But if Pro Flowers can't forgive him and continue advertising, then I will wait for them to do so before I buy your product again. And I will encourage all I know, to do the same.

  48. I have often used Proflowers- BUT NO LONGER.

Not when Proflowers lets itself fall victim to organized political groups who want to curtail free speech.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I tried to call Proflowers to talk to someone about their advertising decision to cut ties with Rush Limbaugh. I was connected to a prerecorded message that said, 'Proflowers doesn't have a political view'.
Oh - but they do. Obviously, they have chosen to side with the liberal media democratic party. Proflowers and the other advertisers that pulled their advertising, used Rush's program to make money off of his listeners. They all knew Rush's personality and his convictions. The minute they didn't agree with him, they pulled their ad's and they chose their side. It's a shame that this company is trying to take away Rush's first amendment right. I refuse to support Proflowers and I will never order from them or any of the companies affiliated with them EVER again. Also, my friends, family and business associates will be giving their business to companies that believe in the freedom of speech!

  50. We have used Pro Flowers in the past and my son sends me some several times I year. I have asked him to please not send me anymore from your company because of your decision to pull your advertisement from the Rush Limbaugh's radio show.
I will also encourage others not to use your company.

  51. As a Company your success is not based on public opinion but on public spending and as such one must be careful not to publicly expose your political standing by taking one side against the other but that is just what you did by pulling your ads from the Rush Limbaugh show. First of all I must say that I do not agree with the terminology that Rush used in discussing Ms. Flukes speech and I told him so but he is not the first person to use derogatory statements regarding women. I am sick and tired of the double standard that exists. If you are a Liberal then you can say whatever you want about whomever you want and it goes unnoticed but if your aren’t a Liberal and you do the same thing then Advertisers pull their ads. Why is that? Truth be told, if Companies pulled their ads every time someone said something that wasn’t up to their standards then there would be no ads and if there was fairness in doing this then that is how it should be right about now. Your actions have sent a message loud and clear to the American public and the results of those actions won’t be helpful in keeping your numbers in the black. When people listen to talk shows whether it be on the radio or on the Television they don’t always agree with what they hear but they continue to watch or listen and the fact that you pulled your ad won’t stop me or many other people from listening to Rush Limbaugh but it will stop me from purchasing your product and I’m not the only one. I am very disappointed in the stance you took. It’s your loss not mine!

  52. Proflowers, you lost my business. Stupid.....STUPID move! You need to get your facts straight before doing something as knee jerk as this. Rush apologized. What is this world coming to?

    ReplyDelete
  53. i can not and will not support any Un American company.good luck going forward, Pro Flowers will loose Americans like me. good buy.

    ReplyDelete
  54. It's great to see that we are not afraid to speak up. Proflowers needs to know that American's value their right of free speech and the freedom to change a dial.

Speaking for myself, I have never held an advertiser responsible for a anything a show's host has ever said. A commercial is a commercial. Proflowers should know that most people listening to the radio, feel the same way. Proflowers actions alienated a lot of people when they should have just stayed neutral and stuck to the 'floral' business.
Also, Rush apologized for his comments which proves that he is a decent human being who just happens to tell it like it is. Unlike Bill Maher, Ed Scholtz, Jimmy Fallon, Maxine Waters etc... who say horrible things and get a free pass.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I am another customer of Proflowers who will never use them again. They caved like a house of cards under pressure from the lefty political machine. Never will I buy from them again, or any of their related companies. The almighty dollar has power folks. Use it.
When Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a word that cannot be repeated no one said a thing. No Rush apologizes and they still want to silence him. They want to silence all of us. This is no longer a free country.

    ReplyDelete
  56. You have the freedom to advertise with whom ever you please. Thankfully, I have the right to buy from whom ever I please. That will not be you. I assume you made your decision based on your stockholder's interest. If that proves to be a bad decision, you have only yourselves to blame. If it works out to your betterment then good for you. If any of you attempt to come back, I hope he does not accept you as advertisers. BTW, as a student of the EIB Institute for Advanced Learning...shouldn't I be entitled to free stuff from you advertisers? Some of your products, "as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school."

  57. As a loyal Rush Limbaugh listener I’m very disappointed with your companies decision to pull your sponsorship from the Rush Limbaugh Show over the Sandra Fluke contraceptive controversy.

The fact that your company has chosen to cave-in to threats of extortion form a minute faction of the far left-wing Liberal minority faction is deeply disturbing to me.

Surely when your company chose to be a sponsor of the Rush Limbaugh show you were aware of the politically conservative and some times controversial nature of Rush’s show. It should have been no surprise to you that Rush always responds to the absurd with absurdly. Rush may have gone a little to far this time with his choice of words in the Sandra Fluke contraceptive issue, but he was right on in substance addressing the absurd with absurdly.

Unless your company restores it’s sponsorship / advertising campaign with Rush Limbaugh’s and Clear Channel Communications Network it will leave me with no chose other then to boycott your company and it products

Nothing ever comes to light in the media when these same people, now calling out Rush, call out handicapped people, minority’s or even women (like Sandra Fluke). There is a tremendous double standard among the far left-wing in this country, that is the hypocrisy of the radical Liberals.

  59. I used Pro flowers many times as did almost everyone in my family. Because of Rush. I had never heard of you until then. His endorsement was the only reason because I trust his judgment. I will NEVER EVER use Pro Flowers again. You have made a very big mistake. Do you believe for a minute that the group you pandered to send flowers? Are you kidding? You are really going to feel the pain on Mother's Day. There are a lot of mothers who listen to Rush. Good luck with that. What amazes me is that everything Rush stands for-free enterprise, capitalism, the right and freedom to create a business-all made you what you are. And now you will see the power of the free market. Big mistake.

  60. I ordered my father the "Starbucks recharge and renew" basket from your
company with an arrival date of today 3/8/12 (9-5pm), which is my dad's
actual birthday. I was not informed until 5pm (WHEN I CALLED PRO FLOWERS)that my order had not been shipped!! I was told there was a glitch in the system and it was not processed nor would be in stock until next Wednesday. This is not satisfactory or acceptable!!! My father's 60th birthday will never happen again and all I was told when I called was "Sorry". I WILL NEVER endorse nor purchase ANYTHING else from Pro Flowers due to your negligence. All I was offered was for my shipping to be waived if I wanted to re-order the same item once it was in stock next week. That personalized card being delivered today meant more than the gift itself. People count on your company to deliver when you promise or notify them so they can make other arrangements. Since I live in a different city, I counted on Pro Flowers to make this day special for him. Unfortunately, this did not happen!!! "We care"....BS

  67. Hey, how's that hope and change goin for ya Pro-Flowers?! Looks like you either went along with or were duped by the astro-turfed boycott against Rush. Since you said Adios to Rush, I say Adios to you--closed my account, and will be buying my Christams, Birthday, and Easter gifts from your competitors. Unlike the astroturf'ed left, I have actually purchased a lot of product from you. But not any more, and I will tell my family NOT to purchase any Pro-Flowers gifts for me. There are a number of competitors that I will try--TeleFlora, 10800 Flowers, and others for the affiliated productsd. I said, Adios.

As with many of the other Rush Limbaugh's supporters, I will no longer use your flower service and I will encourage everyone I know (I have a large family and many friends) to avoid your company like the plague. I will also ask them to spread the word too. Every action has a reaction. You made a very bad business decision by pulling your ads on Rush's show for political reasons and now you will have to live with it. By the way, I also think Fluke is a slut.

  72. The UPS truck driver tried to deliver Flowers to me for Mother's Day, I refused to sign for them when I read on the box they were from ProFlowers. I told him to take them back I didn't want them and didn't want them on my property, so he took them back and marked the box refusedthat was on Friday before Mother's Day. But I could hardly believe it, today about quarter til 5 my door bell rang I got to the door just in time to see the UPS truck driving away and there on my stoop was the same box I had refused over a week ago. The box had some new stickers on it and blacked out writing where the words refused had been. I called 1-888-373-7437 the phone number on the box and it was customer service for ProFlowers. I explained to the female on the other end (can't call her a lady as she didn't act like one)and I told her that I had refused these floweres the first time they were delivered before Mother's Day, I don't want anything to do with ProFlowers and I certainly don't want their flowers period after their action towards Rush Limbaugh, she hung up on me. When I wrote on this page I meant what I said. I called my son who always is sending me flowers and asked why he used ProFlowers he said he used a local florist and didn't know they would use ProFlowers, he won't use that florist again. I'm taking them to UPS tomorrow and they can return them to ProFlowers.....And I better not get them back again....

  73. i hate proflowers used them once and never again. my husband got my 87$ red roses for v-day . but when i answered the door there was red carnations on my front door. i called and emailed florist express and told them and they said they were going to send me new flowers i waited and so i called again and they said they sent them to a s. singleton in Florida i live in san diego CA so they said they would resend to my right address. nothing..... so i called again and they said proflowers went through the sister property florist express so they were going to have to call me back in four hours or they would call me in the morning because my time it was about6:30 at night. nothing ... so i called today and spoke to supervisor debbie at phone number 8883737437, she was rude and she lied over and over saying i never filled a complaint and that she couldn't talk to me because my husband ordered them and insisting that they dont have red carnations in there flowers but she lied im staring at the stupid carnations as we spoke. i asked her for corporates number and she refused to give it to me so i hung up the phone and looked online at corporate headquarters phone number and called and spoke to laura who was vary nice and assured me that the other lady was lying and that all my complaints were on file. so at that point i was heated and demand all my money back. i will never use this company again and i would never tell people to use this company horrible customer service and rude employees. my name is Stacy Singleton and i will never by flowers from here!!!!!!!!!!!! and might i add i was always nice and understanding on the phone and all i wanted was my damn red roses. but after speaking to the supervisor debbie i want all my money back!!!!!!!!!!

Today will be my last using Pro Flowers. They failed to deliver flowers to my fathers funeral. I paid extra to have the arrangements received before 9am. No call, no flowers. If you are not going to deliver at least make a call and let the customer know so they can make other arrangements. The careless attitude of the customer service rep was another issue. I received a refund for part of the order, I guess no one can read as I ordered multiple sets. We can go to court for the balance of the refund.

  76. Doug,

Thank you for the speedy reply. I read your reviews on the google-search-engine corporate contact page and there were surprisingly a lot of negative reviews. Of course with the human complaint ratio (3:1 ratio on human social negative response to human positive social response) I hope you update your page(s) making social media more accessible to making it easier for a broader opinion to be established and to have a customer-service based core to follow the great product your company delivers (flowers that are not F***** up). You have to have an easier navigational coporate/business site(s) that allows for more customers other than the few angry customers that had bad experiences diluting your customer service-based business ethics title. I have always had excellent results with Proflowers. Although I am still going to have to pay extra for the late shipping now, it was the principle of the matter of customer service. I appreciate the response. I am glad I did not have to fly to Baghdad to make a phone call because believe me, I would have. Thanks again, I am sure my mother will be happy to receive the selection from Proflowers. I will copy this email into your review page. Look forward to future business with me and Proflowers. I won't expect the same mistake in customer service in the future.

  77. The website said they were out of corsages, pretty dumb considering it was the week before Mothers Day! I was told since my last order had been so botched there would be no charge as long as it was equal to or less than the value of the last order. A simple corsage in yellow/orange/peach colors. 3 roses in any combination of these colors. It was to be delivered to my SISTERS house. These fools sent a bouquet of 12 roses in red, purple and orange! Can you get any uglier? They sent them to Mom's house, actually a neighbor. The box was smashed and the flowers ruined. They sent another ugly bouquet to the wrong house and of course forgot to include the card. She called to find out who had sent this mess and they didn't know. She's 92 and is terribly worked up over this and worried that someone is not getting their flowers. She doesn't want to keep them, they aren't hers and they are hideous! Why would these people change an order so completely AND deliver it to the wrong address? (they had Mom's address because I had ordered from them many times in the past, each order having "issues") I thought they could get 3 flowers correct and the correct address because I filled out their form in RED and highlighted. 90 minutes on the phone last night speaking to 2 different women and each one after extended conversations (1 hour with the first and 30 mins with the 2nd) I was told they were the wrong dept and couldn't help me! IDIOTS AT EVERY TURN! NO ONE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY HERE.
