Rude Employee & Mgr laughing about it! I was in The College Station store this afternoon. I finally found a young lady by the name of Vivaia. I asked her if the store carried Tape Measures. By the look on her face, she clearly didn’t know what that was. She pretended to call to ask & got no response because she faked it. She then rudely asked what I wanted it for. My response was that didn’t matter, do they carry them? She said, “Then… NO!” I looked at her & asked if she just made that up to get rid of me. She copped a genuine attitude. I told her that she was rude. I asked her name & looked at her name tag & she covered it up. I went to the front & got the Manager. A very young unkept young man with lots of ear piercings. He showed me where they were & on his way back he said something to her & they started laughing & she skipped off behind him laughing. No respect & making fun of me. They clearly don’t exhibit what their job should entail. Poor Customer Service!!

I worked in a Michaels, in the unloading truck department. Let me tell you what it isn’t worth the 9 am hour they didn’t want to pay me. They make it so difficult to unload because everything is just thrown in the truck disorganized to hell and want you to pull everything off one by one when they oversaw crap to begin with I wouldn’t do this job for 16 an hour which is what they pay managers. What a load of crap the management deserves at least 20 for the stress and bs they have to deal with because corporate doesn’t care they break their backs for dirt cheap.

The removal of the employee discount for retirees who retired BEFORE you changed the number of years you needed to be employed showed to be for retirees going forward. The past employees qualified for this discount and should not have it taken away from them. You need to rethink this. Please note I have already spoken with your customer service via email. I would like to hear from someone higher up.

Just wanted to take the time to thank a manager at a Michael’s store (#9187) in Encino, California. His name is Josef. The moment I walked into the store I was greeted which made me feel seen. I needed to go to the ladies room and he was in there ensuring that the facility was clean and properly supplied. Another time I ran across his path, I assured him that I was not stalking him but actually needed assistance with finding an item. Again I felt seen and heard. I received outstanding service and needed to share this with the powers that be. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you acknowledge his good works.

do not go to this store the treatment they give you after the work is done is It’s up to you whether you want to accept it or not, but their work is not professional.
