  1. I just left a Lab Corp in Lake Mary FL to have blood work done and I will NEVER be returning! When I arrived, I was the only one there and I signed in and wrote down an approximate arrival time. The person at the front desk who I signed in with was also the "site coordinator" whatever that means - I am assuming the manager which makes this whole experience worse because he was so rude! I have never been treated the way that this man treated me! He questioned my sign in time on the clipboard to begin, and was very short with me when I questioned some of the information he was asking me for and the final blow....he threw my paperwork over the desk at me and pointed to room #1 and told me to go sit in there. If they allow the manager to treat people that way, I would hate to see what they allow the rest of their employees to treat people like! I will stick to Quest from now on - I don't deserve to be treated like a dog !!!

    3. I too had a very bad experience with the Macon, GA LabCorp on Arkwright Landing. Went in for routine blood work, after making an appointment on line. Was told by staff that I did not need to make an appointment since they could not figure out how to manipulate the computer system. Anyway, to really disappoint me, I am in the room to have my blood drawn and the woman taking my blood sticks me with about a 4" needle and can't get any blood to come out....so she claims. I am one to NEVER have had an issue with giving blood at my almost 50 years of age. The woman kept "jigging" me with the needle asking me if it was uncomfortable (still no blood coming out). I finally told her "yes". She removes the needle and asks someone else to come draw my blood. I sat there for a few minutes waiting for the other person to come in and after waiting about 5 minutes, I came to my senses and got the heck out of there!! Seems like they have inexperienced people working there, and it is so sad. There was only myself and one other person in the office waiting for lab work but this has definitely caused me to find another lab to have my work done. Never will I return to the LabCorp in Macon, GA!!!!!

  2. I went to labcorp with my guide dog (who's legally allowed in) the first person I saw called her a pet and when I corrected him said he didn't know what a guide dog was. The person actually drawing my blood tried to take my dog from me to scare his co worker. Definitely the most unprofessional place I've seen.

  3. I have been to LabCorp twice and I would rather draw my own blood than be subjected to the unprofessional demeanors at the Tampa, FL location behind the University Community Hospital. When you walk in you are asked to sign in. They should at that time review your paperwork and insurance information so not to waste your time. I signed in and sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half, when they called my name they quite abrubtly told me they didn't take Aetna. These individuals discuss the type of work being done, insurance issues and other personal information that should be not discussed in a public area. The wait times are ridiculous. When a patient is called back, they are in there for ten minutes, what is being done between patients. Obviously this is not a one time thing due to the number of complaints on-line. You should be ashamed of yourselves to allow your patients (your bread and butter) to be treated in such a way. Especially openly discussing personal (HIPPA) matters.

  4. This is Corporation which should be ASHAMED! Most complaints which are centered seem be be Florida. What's that all about and what's wrong?. Corporate HR is not doing their JOB to find out what's wrong with Company Policy???????? Qualified and Professional people have been demoted and/or eliminated. Sounds like there's more here than should be. Under-qualified, Non-professional want-to-be's? How long will this last? Have been in a few of the offices, but there are more which would never return to. Managers are also useless. They may or may not take the complaint unless it seems to be to their benifit. "BAD FORM" to this Company and HR department. If I had a business would NOT consider this company ever.

  5. I just left labcorp in Slidell la and id like to say that the people who are in there today are so rude and have no type of heart. I arrived when they opened just to be called an hour later to be told.."we close at 11" we can't do this order today sorry! Not to mention when I first arrived I could hear the 2 workers talking about hoping to get off on time today..and today was one of the workers first day...clearly shows how people don't care to much for others, nor their jobs! I'd never go back if I didn't really have to. plus I fasted all night..horrible service.

    THE SITE SHOULDNT TAKE FOREVER TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PT IS REALLY NEEDS. I HAD TO LOOK UP PT SERVICES IN NC WHO TRACEY WAS VERY NICE AND UNDERSTOOD THE PROBLEM OF "HURRICANE SANDY" THAT CLOSED OUR OFFICES (MOST DR OFFICES). THE STAFF WAS CALLING PTS FROM THEIR PERSONAL CELL PHONES TO CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE. THE DR OFFICE ASKED ME TO CALL LAB CORP FOR A COPY TO SEND A COPY TO MY PERSONAL FAX.THANK GOD YOU HAVE AN EMPLOYEE AS TRACEY THAT WAS A VERY BIG HELP IN THIS SITUATION - YOU COULDNT SAY THAT TO YOUR WEB SITE EVEN AFTER LOGGING IN WITH ALL OF MY INFO - IT TOOK ME NO WHERE ACCEPT FRUSTRATION.

    Just left LabCorp in Ocean View DE. After many years of dealing with them and liking the service they provided after todays visit I will NEVER go back. I arrived at 7:00 Am.only to find Richard the front desk coordinator and all the friendly professional Lab techs GONE !in their place were 2 ladies one running the front desk and a Tech drawling blood, Suddenly all these people started coming in saying they have appoitments ??? Are you people kidding me?? since when were appoitments necessary? Richard and the other Techs were so good NOBODY needed a appoitment they had you in and out of there and were very professional in the process. I almost enden up in a fist fight with some very rude man being a sarcastic prick about his appoitment, I told him I had been waiting since 7:00 Am and be- damned if his ass was going before mine. I was there early so I could get to work by 8:00, in the midst of all of this the front desk lady and the tech started arguing as the office ever so quickly started to pile full of people. What the HECK LabCorp did you have to go fixing something that was not BROKE!!! What over educated, no experience and over paid desk jockey at Corporate thought up of this? Perhaps you people should give Richard a promotion and have him running your Corporate offices Hell make him CEO! because he certainly knew how to get the job done and done right.

  8. I am an employee with a medical school in Texas, we sent our patient to Lab Corp at the Kingwood office for routine blood work. The front desk person was the same person drawing blood as per our patient. That tech requested a CC on file for balance owed after insurance re-embursment with no specific amount to be charged just what ever Lab Corp comes up with that is under the amount authorized by the patient. Our patient was asked for a 700.00 dollar limit and they are not obligated to say when they will withdrawl or how much . Corperate offices billing dept said the patient will be notified by the insurance EOB (explanation of benefits) letter in the mail but monies can be taken before that date. I asked how can you guarantee a CC number is safe from identity theft since patient addresses and these numbers are at any employees access at any time. Answer: We can not guarantee that but our staff is professional and would MOST likely not do such a thing! I asked what if a patients account does not have the authorized amount and when you withdrawl the funds the account does not experience a NSF fee? Answer: If you authorize an amount you should have that amount in your account at all times ! Im not sure how many americans have an extra 700.00 dollars for an unexpected lab bill but I know when rent or morgage is due most americans have a small amount in their accounts until next pay day. Lab Corp stated its a patient convienence so they will not recieve a bill in the mail. It sure looks like a convienence for Lab Corp to take money when they darn well please and it opens a door to identity theft and over billing if insurance drags their heels to pay them. I am petitioning our college to make note to never send a patient to Lab Corp for blood, cytology or any lab services. There are too many competetors that bill and do it the professional and ETHICAL way. Just because the law allows you to be unethical does not mean you practise that policy. If I was an excutive at LC I would rewrite police because the Law suites for fraudulent billing and identity theft will cost the corperation more than the amount they blind side patients with in holding a CC on file. I know one two patients they will never make a dime off again, my patient and myself.

  9. i took a drug test in philadelphia, pa for superfresh on the 17th of january, its now the 5th of february and superfresh still didn't get my results yet. i called the number for the labcorps at old bustleton avenue in philadelphia, pa and the lady gave me an attitude. she also wouldn't answer my questions, all i asked her was "were my test results sent to superfresh", i gave her all of my information and she was giving me so much trouble. i can understand if your company is busy, have a lot of tests to run and things are a little backed up, but she wouldnt help me at all. i didnt ask any information about whether i passed or failed, now nobody will help me out.

  11. I have attempted to schedule appointments on your website at least 20 times without success.
    It is NOT user friendly and must have been designed by a high school drop out.
    The alternative for my wife and I is to wait as much as three hours. If you don't fix it, I will use your competitor.

  12. I just attempted to have a pre-employment drug screen completed. I was not able to produce enough urine. After waiting an hour and drinking alot of water, I still was not able to complete the test. The office became totally rude and acted like I was a drug abuser. I am a teacher and had to leave to get to my class before the students arrived. I told them that I would come back after school. They acted like I was trying to avoid taking the test. I gave urine 3 different times, but each time was not quite enough and they would not combine the urine. It was ridiculous. I will never go back.

I went into lab-corp to have my sons blod work drawn, I was in waiting room for 40 minutes, everyone who came in after me was seen and for some reason I was not called in, i get up and ask the person in the reception what was the reason i have not been called.. She answered" Oh we must have skiped you" Seriously? she didnt even bother to apolgise, aftr 5 minutes they call me in, This has been the worst exoerience ever, they ask me to go in, but yet they dont open the door. when they drew blood from my son i get up andas i am walking out the lady says have a nice day I ignore her, then she says hae a Nice day in a much louder voice i just walked out and her and co-workers start laughing... I am not sure if Corporate office is awar of this behavior in these office but i deffinitely think this is very unprofessional.. I'd rather go to Quest, where they have excellent Customer service:)

  14. I have been waiting for one and a half hours for routine blood tests. The place is empty and all employees are rude. People that work in the health business have to have at least a heart. Brains would be a plus. Very unhappy with labcorp. I am going to use my social media contacts and personal doctors to address the poor quality of this place. If you want to schedule an appointment and not wait you have a ONE MONTH waiting time. This heartless company expects people to also schedule dates to become sick? Hate it. Driving to Cleveland clinic next time. At leaat they know what they are doing.

  15. My son had blood work done at LabCorp in Kentucky. They took all his information, ID, Military card, DL, etc and keyed the information wrongly into their system. Needless to say he ended up with a bill for over $4000.00 for blood work that is not his responsibility to pay. On talking with a representative at billing then a supervisor I can only describe as the most impertinent and rude woman I have ever spoken to she stated she would not be apologizing to my son. I explained he was sick hence the reason for the blood work. Her response was "I don't care if he is sick or not" ...... all I can say to the CEO/corporate hierarchies of LabCorp is that these are the people representing your company...that's why it STINKS! Having read the other statements regarding patients experiences you really need to take a good look at your company ethics and customer care....it really is bad!

  16. I'm 23 weeks pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy that requires daily doses of blood thinner. Periodically I have to check my clotting levels to ensure that my dosage is enough to protect me and my baby for the next few months until delivery.

    I've been waiting for a call from my doctor with my recent LabCorp test results for going on four weeks. I thought it was taking so long, because it's a very busy office, and the doctors and their support staff see a lot of patients. I finally got ahold of my clinical coordinator today with the results and was ASTOUNDED to find out that my local LabCorp office DID NOT DRAW THE REQUESTED PANELS.

    On an order for three panels -- they only tested for two. And the one that REALLY mattered -- the one that determines if my dosage is correct, and is instrumental in protecting this pregnancy was completely overlooked. I can almost understand overlooking a requested test on a long list of requests, but two out of three? That doesn't seem that difficult to me.

    I was billed for this visit. I'll have to go back now, four weeks later to have the test repeated, and who knows if it will even be done correctly, and I'll be billed for it a second time, I'm sure. Unfortunately my insurance provider requires my labwork go through your company, or I would certainly look for another lab.

  17. 1. It took two phlebotomist and four sticks to draw my blood in the Haddon Heights NJ office. Not so good for this patient!

    2. Your web site is not user friendly. It is not easy to navigate and your brochure explaining how to navigate it is not informative enough. I finally got it all figured out and then when I went to answer the authentication questions it told me I answered the questions wrong! Then trying to get a written authentication form took just as long.

  18. On Monday, July 08, 2013, I went to Labcorp in Hicksville, NY for a routine blood analysis. When the phlebotomist was preparing to take my blood, I told her to take it from my hand since several phlebotomists in the past have had considerable trouble finding a vein in my arm. She replied, “we are short on butterflies so I am going to take it from your arm.” After my blood was drawn, I was asked to give a urine sample as well. When I went into the bathroom, I noticed the “sterile” seal on the two urine containers were broken. When I went to wash my hands, there was no soap in the dispenser and no garbage can. As soon as I arrived home, I took the bandage off of my arm and found a bruise about three quarters of an inch in diameter on the spot my blood was drawn. Days later, the bruise is about two inches in length and deep purple in color. After researching if this is normal, many websites stated that this occurs when extracting blood from a vein deep within the arm. The bruise is the result of blood pooling around the injection site. In all of my years of getting blood drawn, I have never had such appalling experience. I feel I got my first taste of what socialized medicine will be like and it seriously affected me. If no soap or garbage can in the bathroom, unsterile urine containers, a shortage of butterflies and an apathetic attitude portends the future of socialized medicine, for the first time in my life I may have to vote republican.

  19. I went to a lab corp this month, August 2013, in Bowie, Maryland. I will NEVER be returning again. Customer service is VERY important and if you dont have that gift, I say find another occupation. I walk in and two employees are at the front desk, they did not acknowledge my presence and never stated "we will be right with you" they didn't even speak. It was so unprofessional and you can never get in contact with the office manager for she has never answered her phone. After waiting a few minutes, I left NEVER to return. There are more LabCorp in the area and my motto, if they dont treat you well, leave and find a better one.

  20. Being an Ex LABCORP WORKER I WOULD LIKE TO ADVISE EVERYONE THAT LABCORP IN FLA IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR TO THE STAFF. The staff is Underpaid,Overworked,Treated like slaves. The supervisors aren't any better. When you call for help they tell you "Just make them wait, that's all i can tell you".The supervisors lie just to cover their behinds, and the staff get wrote up for anything, and they are denied RAISES,because Labcorp in Fla is to cheap to hire more help. In defense of the workers the amount of crap they have to go through on a daily basis is very overwhelming & half of the staff need their jobs, so they just accept it.The patients can be very mean also, the staff are constantly verbally &physically assaulted on a daily basis. Being told they will be fired it they don't collect a certain amount of credit cards daily. This all play apart on how some of the staff do their jobs. Labcorp employees are the lowest paid and most overworked PST in the healthcare industry.The staff go through a lot. I left the company after 8 years Labcorp isn't getting better,IT's GETTING WORST!!! Supplies are always running out, the centers aren't being cleaned properly. Staff & patients are HIGH RISK FOR CATCHING ALL TYPES OF DISEASES. The staff need you're help, because noone listen to them. I'm just glad I finally got away from that place.

  21. Just came back from Lab Corp,, Weston, Executive Park Plaza. Left without taking my blood, I would rather pay my co pay and go to my doctors office where they treat you with some respect. The staff at this location is, in a word "disgusting." They are sitting around doing nothing, and when they finally call someone, it's a walk in. I had an appointment and had to wait behind the walk ins, (that were waiting there forever as well). Tried calling corperate and got the same treatment. Very uneducated staff. Awful experience!!!!!!!

I went to Lab Corp off soto...1825 Cesar Chavez... in Los Angeles I waited nearly a hour for my blood to be drawn, I was already fussed being that the staff was only one female, she took nearly 20 minutes for each patient. Then her assistant came in MARCO SERVELLON..on his cell phone when the door sign clearly states TURN OFF CELL PHONES IN LAB...not only that he entered all my information wrong when he had my lab slip..I am 31 Not 131 unbelievable...I gave him attitude and stated to him do you not see the information there ...so He took me in to the drawing rom left me there another 15 minutes due to me complaining I had been waiting for to long and was going to be extremely late for work ..I have now been waiting at this location a total of 1hour 25 minutes...HE came in didn't even look or feel for my vain...Just stuck me with the needle...blood gushing out, then wraps me up and tells me If I don't like the lab to switch and get a new Dr.. REALLY HOW PROFESSIONAL..WHTA THE HECK???...My vain puffed up and is in so much pain....blood don't stop and is soaking through the gauge and tape. I went back and got his name to report to corporate office seems they don't seem to give a shit either..THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT HUMANS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. WE SEEK YOU FOR HELP WITH OUR HEALTH....bunch of Idiots... worse blood lab ever in 17 years of me drawing blood for my health condition.

  23. I have small and rolling veins and several doctors so I usually save my blood work orders until after I've seen them all to limit the amount of times I have to get stuck. Some off them order the same tests of other doctors so typically LabCorp would do one draw and send the results to the doctors that wanted that particular test but just recently the policy has changed. They will no longer just run one test, instead they want to run the same test for the number of requests ordered. So if 5 doctors want a platelet count LabCorp will draw 5 times and run the test 5 times as well as bill me 5 times just to get the same results they got the first time in the same visit. They are being just plain greedy! I hope my insurance company drops the contract! So now I'm forced to alter the requests, pick up my own results and distribute the results myself, way to go LabCorp you greedy bastards!

  24. I just walked out of LabCorp the Gaithersburg, MD office. I had an appt. at 8:15 the check in lady kept taking all the walk ins before me. I asked how long the wait would be since it was already 8:35 and she said she was not sure. I told her I had an appt at 9:00 and she said they could wait as no one takes anyone on time anymore. I asked why do I have an appt. and got no reply At 8:55 I walked out. I would never recommend Labcorp to anyone and reported them to my insurance company who in return gave me another lab in our area that UHC honors.

  25. I thought I was the only one with issues with lab corp. I live in Barstow, CA. when I went to drop of a sample for the first time, I walked into a very small waiting room that had dark walls, trash on the floor and stains all over the carpeting. the reception window was a small cutout in the wall and the door that leads to the back room had the doorknob nearly hanging off. The people working there looked like they just came out high school. very aloof and looked like they didn't want to be there. My mother is a former cancer patient and I refuse to take her to such a filthy place. Now today I took a family member there and it was shut down till further notice due to water damage. Not surprised. It is an old and run down building. now we have nowhere to go except to drive 40 miles or wait until further notice. Why doesn't corporate do something about making it a better experience for us patients? Does profit have anything to do with it? Shame on you people. The only one who has a good lab in this family is my Pomeranian!

  26. I was in the process of getting my pet into another hospice group to do some therapy work. I had to go for a drug test. I was directed to go to Lapcorp in Elgin, Illinois. Went prepared with a bottle of water and was drinking it all the way there. I still had it in my hand when I walked in. I was instructed to be there before 11 am. I was there at 10:45. The lady, Jill, behind the desk, not a friendly lady, (I could tell she wasn’t feeling well) asked how she could help me. I told her I was there for a drug test. She snapped at me that they closed at 11, I said “Yes, it won’t take long”. She just did a minor grunt and continued to help the elderly lady that she was having issues with that was there before me. Jill told me to STOP drinking the water; it would create “FORCED URINE” and would make for a false test. (I had never heard of that). I put the water bottle in my purse.

    At 10:57 Jill came to me and started barking orders (again she wasn’t feeling well) “hang your coat up and take off your scarf”… Ok so I did. …Then Jill asked for my paperwork and ID (so I took out my driver’s license) I had my wallet in one hand and purse in the other. She then barked for me to put my wallet in my purse and lock my purse up. I told her I WASN’T putting my wallet away until I had my license back. She made another grunt at me, but I didn’t care at this point. I locked my purse up with my wallet was on the OUTSIDE of my purse.

    She barked some more orders I followed them. She told me I had 3 minutes to deposit enough urine in this cup and I HAD to hit the black line that she marked on the cup or I would have to stay for an hour with her and start all over. I didn’t think much of her barking I just did what I was told.

    I opened the door and Jill was standing right there, she saw the cup and said “That’s not enough, pour it out, you will need to stay with me and try again in an hour. OH NO.. Now she has caught my attention!!!

    I said “Excuse me”…. She repeated herself… I blurted “No I will not stay with you, I wouldn’t leave my worst enemy with you”… she looked at me… I repeated myself. She ignored me and stated “If you don’t stay I am going to call them and tell them that you refused you refused the test”. . I said “You have been rude since I walked in the door, and it was uncalled for”. She said “I’m rude because YOU CAN’T FILL THE CUP”… Then she continued “As you can tell I have a sore throat”.. I responded with “Then you shouldn’t have come in, maybe call in sick”.

    As I was putting on my coat she was calling the company where I wanted to volunteer at the hospice with my pet.

    A few hours later I received a call from the volunteer office where I had applying at that they could not use my services due to me refusing the drug test. I guess Jill won!

  27. I was at the Lab Corp. at Greenfield and the 60 in Mesa Arizona yesterday. I saw that this site was closing and probably for good cause. I have never in my life met such rude, unprofessional employees as the ones who were working there yesterday. I did not have them draw my blood and decided to leave. This Corporation needs to review what is going on and make the necessary changes.

  28. I am an employee of LabCorp and as I read the above comments I actually could not agee more with you all. Some experiences are okay. My main problems come from with-in. HR and my supervisor. I can honestly sit here and say that if I did not need my job, I would walk out right this minute! I sure hope that others start to have a good experience. I will apologize on LabCorps behalf. But I couldn't agree more!

LAB CORP HAS AN F RATING WITH THE BBB AND DESERVEDLY SO- I JUST LEFT A MESSAGE AT THEIR CORP OFC IN NC FOR THEIR CEO WHICH I THINK IS DAVID KING- I WILL ALSO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE NJ MEDICAL BOARD AND WHOMEVER OVERSEES THIS LAB- MY COMPLAINT IS WITH THEIR THREATENING HARASSING BILLING PRACTICES- MY PRIMARY CARE DR HAS AN AGREEMENT WITH ALL THE LABS THEY SEND BLOOD WORK TO- THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO ACCEPT WHATEVER PAYMENT MY INS CO SENDS THEM- LAB CORP HAS BEEN THREATENING ME WITH COLLECTION LETTERS FOR $20.00 THEY CLAIM I OWE THEM- I KEEP TEL;LING THEM I DO NOT OWE THEM A CENT NOR WILL I EVER PAY THEM- THEY KEEP SENDING ME THREATENING COLLECTION LETTERS-

  30. I work for labcorp. im very important in the testing phase of the lab. I handle over a thousand cultures every day. im sorry to hear that all of you hate they way you are treated. but I will tell you that no matter how hard I work and how much I do, I get treated like crap!!!!! I do amazing work and help people everyday and they don't care. labcorp's policies for raises are horrible. even with a doctors excuse its still an un excused absence and just 4 unexcused absences makes you unable to receive a raise. we are watched all day and not allowed to talk or anything. we are treated like criminals and questioned where we are questioned every time we get up to use the bathroom. I wish I was a dog just to be treated better!!!!!!!!

  31. I went to Lapcorp in port St Lucie Florida on us1 in publix plaza. The lady at the front desk are so damn rude. I walk up and say good morning and she says what do you want. I hand her my paper work. I was getting a drug screening for employment she says well your halfbreed I mean baby can not come back. Are u serious!!!! It does not matter the race of a child she was totally wrong. So I asked for supervisor and she says "ain't no supervisor here" then tells me drug screening is only Btwn 10 a.m. and whenever she wants to stop. So I went back at 1p.m. and the same lady told me they already stopped drug screening for the day. If it was not for the fact that I want this job I would never return to that heLL whole again. They are so far from professional and I am going in there again and I will raise hell if I am disrespected again. I will not be leaving until I speak with who is in charge. From the looks of everyone's complaints I'm sure NOTHING will be done.I have been in here the same location with a friend before and they were rude to her as well. I will make a big thing about this until something is done about it bc this is just not right!!!!

  32. I am highly upset at this place because they lost my blood work. Who does that Lab Corp!!! Let me say this.. Lab Corp need to be shut down or run by better people. Because I can't believe your employees are rude and incompetent that one, they lost my drug test Two I had to wait when I was told my employer was supposed to receive results days ago. I need to start work but I can't seem to do that because of your incompetent employees... You don't lose someone's test and then make them wait... That is a mistake I won't take. Period!!!! You people are horrible and I think all employers need to get rid of Lab Corp and find other places. Since the headquarters refuse to listen to others.

  33. How Labcorp manages to stay in business amazes me. Their Midland, Texas operation is very unprofessional. If my doctor can't find another lab to draw blood, I will find another doctor.

  34. Just recently having blood work at lab corp in Boynton beach Fl. two different locations. One on Military..receptionist unfriendly.. waiting time not long, but tech who drew blood mentions that she is dizzy.. yes. she is going to take my blood? lots of laughing and taking time to greet patients. second time went.. differnt reception.. totally cold. no acknowlegement.. patients start arriving. no one being called.. laughing again in the back of the place.. left after waiting 15 minutes not being acknowledged. then went to location on Jog.. No one there.. terrific!. Nice woman at the desk.. she is going to take blood..never introduces herself.. sticks me in the worst way.. does not know how to take blood. I am left with a throbbing arm.. black and blue and swollen spot.. I will go here again because my insurance takes it, but the blonde lady will not be allowed near me. this organization looks to me to be totally out of conrol.. wrong goals of what people are hired to do.. experience I would think. lacking in training.. kind of scary. I will be very careful who takes me next..

  35. Getting lab results thro health vault almost impossible. On line complaints and requests are waste of time. Called Corporate office today & asked for help. Waiting with little or no hope of getting this outfit to change its ways. Best solution is to take our business ton other labs. Hospital-basebd labs (some) are willing to do the tests.

  36. We went to a Labcorp in Weston, FL and it was terrible. We had our 2 day old son with us and we had to wait 1hr and 45mins just to get blood drawn. So many people were just walking in and jumping ahead of us. However, they let us come in eventually and they had 3 doctors and the receptionist trying to get blood from my son. Also, while they were trying to get blood they were arguing with each other about how they didn't use the warmer properly. We will never be visiting them again.

  37. I usually go to Labcorp on Amboy Rd in Staten Island, but I was in the area so I went to Labcorp on Forest Ave in Staten Island. They took blood but when I went to my doctor, she said they didn't perform all the tests that were on the prescription, so I had to go again for blood test. I went to the Amboy Rd in Staten Island. I have been going to this office for years and always was a quick visit. Never waited more than 15 mins at the most. This visit was all new employees, what a mess. I was there over 45 mins and other customers were complaining. After 45 mins of waiting only 3 people were called and the women at the front desk didn't speak clear and kept calling people back to the front desk, it seemed she didn't know how to work computer. They told me if I made an appointment I would have been taken care of sooner. I told women, appointment weren't made in the past and this lab ran smooth and there weren't a waiting room full of customers complaining. Also, they asked for the script, my medical card and a credit card. That is outrageous a Credit Card I was never asked for a credit card at any medical appointments Of course I didn't give a credit card and I noticed the other customers said they didn't have a card. I guess these new employees are paid less than the previous employees and it shows.

  38. As a patient, I find LabCorps practices unethical. The company refuses to provide me a dollar figure for actual charges on my bill. They allege it was billed to the doctor, and therefore I have no right to it. However, the doctor's office doesn't have these charges, and was only able to provide me an itemization of tests that were actually ordered. This is a bad company.

    Blood work done in GA sent to FL lab; BCBS federal (GA) will not pay it b/c Labcorp says it billed FL.
    Used Labcorp for years-no problems. Feb 27, 2014, bloodwork done in GA (as always) was sent to FL for testing. Get bill from Labcorp for $676.00. Called/told them BCBS/GA always pays it. Was told it had to be billed to BCBS/FL b/c that is where it was tested. WHAT? Told me to call BCBS/FL - I did. They won't pay b/c my insurance is with BCBS/GA. Told to call them - I did. BCBS/GA won't pay b/c they weren't 'billed'. FL was. Told me to call Labcorp, I did and was again told to call BCBS/FL. NO! Went to local office and was told 'oh, this happens all the time'...we'll take care of it. This was first week of March. Never heard anything again & assumed it was 'taken care of'. Then I got another bill dated 7/16/2014 for the 2/27/2014 service. Called Labcorp again and they offered no solution other than they would 'courtesty refile' (to BCBS/FL) My insurance is BCBS/GA FEDERAL. Then told to contact BCBS/FL again. WHY? Had subsequent bloodwork done in June, told testing was in AL, and BCBS/GA paid it just fine. I don't understand how where they send the blood for processing is MY problem. I didn't curse or say anything derogatory to Labcorp employees while attemting to rectify this situation, but I must say, they are condescending, quite rude and extremely unprofessional! Clearly, put the resolution of this on MY shoulders. I will NEVER use Labcorp again! And especially after seeing the BBB grade for them and all the complaints!

    Consumer's Desired Resolution:
    I want them to process my bill CORRECTLY so MY BCBS/GA Federal insurance will pay it! And an apology would be nice, but whatever, because I will NOT use them again!

  42. Labcorp on Silverside Rd. in Wilmington Delaware.............
    Rude, inexperienced staff. The only person who paid any attention to me was Cherie, who was actually doing her job and also very nice.
    The front desk people who are also apparently the health care worker is always abrupt and have no personality whatsoever. I was sent to a chair in the back where I sat and watch the other employee type in the computer and then turn around and walk away without even acknowledging that I was there. Never said she would be back (she wasn't), hello or that someone else would be with me shortly. She acted like I was invisible. Thankfully Cherie (who didn't know I was waiting) came over. I needed a throat culture and she had not done one before, so I asked for someone with experience. Along comes Ms. Personality from the front desk who had only done them in school. She was annoyed because my tongue (which is tongue tied so can't move around alot) kept getting in the way. She supposedly managed to get swab the back of my throat which hurt even more for the next two days.
    State of Delaware employees are forced to use Labcorp, we used to have a choice. I will do everything in my power to make sure that you don't get the state's contract again.
    Horrible, horrible, horrible.
    When I was in Florida I went to Labcorp in Delray and it was disgusting and the people (except one) were also rude.
    I'm sure no on at Labcorp headquarters read this site, so please contact their NC office and ask for David King or Lee Anderson. Someone needs to do something.
    There are also comments on this site about how poorly Labcorp treats their employees. Maybe that has something to do with their employees' attitudes and lack of skill.

  43. Went to have a blood test done on foster ave. Staten island. They never sent the blood in. Only God knows where my blood went. Horrible experience. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend this office.
