    5. My daughter works at an IHOP in Bryan, TX. The managers treat some of the employees horribly. They have their clicks. They have made the servers cry, treat the employees badly in front of customers, treat the customers badly that are being served by the employees that aren't part of the click, pushing GOOD employees out the door. They REALLY need to rethink their manager's managerial skills. Wake up and smell the coffee. You're rotten managers are pushing your good employees out the door.

I thought IHOP Corporate sells franchises to make Money, from what I read in the comments about their experiences, IHOP Corporate is, in terms of na educated executive, BOILED FROGS, meaning that nobody is looking what is happening like a frog goes to sleep and winds up dead or in the case of IHOP, out of business. WAKE UP EXECUTIVEs AT IHOP, if you do not fix the problems in the franchises that create poor customer satisfaction, then your investment is looking for a disaster, Some competiter will come in and replace the void of good servisse created by IHOP franchises

    9. I've ate at the I-hop on Mockingbird ln. in Dallas. The only great thing was the young server April, who was very gracious and made sure our order was right despite the cook getting it wrong. She needs to be promoted and given credit for her hard work. The rest of the establishment needs to be looked at with a fine tooth comb.

    10. I worked at the IHOP in Ellijay, Georgia. A few of my friends still do. The managers allow sexual assaults and violence to happen to servers. The servers are not allowed to say anything to the customer and are not allowed to call law enforcement to intervene. If the server says or does anything to defend themselves, they are fired. The employees are told to enter their tips into the computer and if it doesn't add up to minimum wage, they are told to enter a higher amount than they earned. If they refuse, they are fired. Employees are added to the schedules on their days off, when they return for their next shift they are told they were a no call-no show and fired. I have worked many jobs in the restaurant business and have NEVER seen or heard of the kind of treatment the employees of this IHOP have to suffer through.

    11. i worked there as well at the danville establishment. I have never seen so much drug dealing and poor management. Everything is overlooked until corporate complaints start to come in. The good servers always quit because the way you are treated for 2.13 a hour is to much. Someone else needs to come in and show them how a company is supposed to be ran.

    12. Yes i work there and alllll the ihops do it.. The hands in your food is a given. They check the temperature of your eggs and pancakes by touching them i hope that you had a clean server. At the Ihop in danville, va we have a pill popping, maniac manger named Justin! He gets away with everything from taking money to getting his drug dealer to come to the job. EVERYONE that works here knows and yet he refuses to keep it a secret. Some people dont deserve power. Then he allows his so called head server SHAUNTE do whatever she wants because they sleep together. Its the worst place to work at in the world. I am only still here because i have been here for years and seen managers come and go but this is to much for me to handle. I dont know how much longer i can do this.

I was asked what would I like to drink< i ordered decalf coffee and my husband ordered regular coffee. when the waitress arrives she poors his then mine.Mine was full of salt when i called her over and told her she laughed as though she knew not surprised at all. a few minutes later her manager shows up with fresh decaf coffee. leave me to believe it was intentional because they knew exactly which coffee had it. when i told the manager she defended her employee but had a laugh behind her voice as well. worst experience ever the place is under very poor managment , no control .

  3. The worst service..table of 8 we walked out!! Tampa, fl.Bearss Ave, near I-275. We were told 15-20 minutes. We waited 35, then spoke up after others were sitted that came in after us. I am a food service manager and I would NEVER have allowed this to happen.Once we were sitted, no one gave us coffee, coffee cups or even spoke at us. After another 15 minutes...we walked out. No manager was even visible. All it would have taked to satisfy us.. is fresh hot coffee(possibly complimentary), cups and a kind word to express sorrow for the long wait and someone would be with us soon. Customer satifaction is what keeps business alive, especially in this economy. I do not give my hard earned money to anyone that doesn't deserve it. We ended up going to "Perkins"...It was awesome and we will dine there again. GREAT service, GREAT food...wonderful, highly recommended!! NOT IHOP!!

  5. I bragged to some friends how I loved IHOP's food. I took some friends to the IHOP in Grandforks ND on April 6th 2012. The place wasn't busy at all. We were seated by a man who had 3 kids with him. All the kids were screaming and hollering. A waitress came brought us water and our drinks. half hour went by still no food. We all ordered either pancakes or waffles and one hamburger and fries. Finally our food came except for 2 of us. We were still missing the waffle and burger and fries. 10 more minutes went by finally the rest of the food came except the fries with the burger. Another 10 minutes went by and the fries finally arrived. By this time the rest of us were finished eating and was ready to leave, but we waited for Dean to finish his fries. There was 2 of us who was splitting the bill. The waitress couldn't figure out how to do that so I did it for her. Dean paid 1/2 with cash and I used my debit card. The waitress ended up swiping my card twice and couldn't figure out how to recredit my card so the manager was called. Manager told me that he would have to phone it in. I bet another 15 minutes went by. I finally said to the waitress what a big hassle this is. You know what she said to me? She told me to get over it! I said to her I'm glad that I didn't leave you a tip. She told me that she didn't want my stinking money anyways. I couldn't believe it! This all happened on Friday so on Monday I called IHOP because I wanted to make sure that my card was credited. I spoke with the General Manager and filed a complaint. He did offer me an apology and said that he would send me some free food vouchers. I have yet to get any vouchers. I guess my IHOP days are over at least in Grandforks ND.

Has several serveral servers that are horrible. Me and my family visit the restaurany very often but the biggest problem is several times we have heard some servers talking about thr customers very close to where there are customers eating.. its a white tall girl that is very loud and is very bad spoken, a black hevy guy with no hair and a black girl with red hair. Now when we go we request angela or jose who give us great service. I hope something is done about this! If not we will never go back.

  7. I am truly APPALLED to hear that you put pancake batter in your omlettes!!! Do you have red letter warnings for people with celiac disease??? Omlettes are usually a safe gluten free food. Clearly, gluten sensitive people must totally avoid IHop!!!! I'm guessing the commercials are in response to a law suit - trying to subtly warn others. This is so dangerous.

  8. All doctors and pharmacists say that you can drink all the diet coke you want. I drank it everyday for 32 years. Recently you put a new soda machine at IHOP. It does not offer diet coke, as the other one did. It offers Diet Pepsi. Diet Pepsi has caffiene, unlike diet coke, and all the other 5 or so drinks on that machine contain sugar. May I suggest you put another soda machine in IHOP that offers diet coke and/or Mountain Dew? Then people who cannot have caffiene have a choice of drinks that is safe for them. I am a steady customer at IHOP, and I noticed more people were not ordering drinks, since you put in the new machine. Thank you, Thomas

  9. IHOP needs to wake up when it comes to customer service. I met my family at the IHOP restaurant in Highland California on Sunday, July 29, 2012. When my husband and I waited for a table for six, about 4 employees were discussing the tip and who got what from a previous customer. They were all so engross in that transaction that they forgot they had customers. I let the manager (Joe) know that we decided to go to another restaurant in the area due to the circumstance and on the way out one waitress said she did not care if we left. Please train your employee with basic customer service skills!!!

His staff was very professional and accomodating. The facility was very clean, the food well prepared and what really stood out was the time it took from ordering to food on the table. It too was very exceptional. So, if you are in the Waldorf Maryland area, stop by the IHOP for a wonderful dining experience.

  11. Horrible! I will never go back!!! I took my grandson to breakfast he got 3 chocolate chip pancakes. We were charged $5.99 for the 3 pancakes and $1.89 for the special order. I do not know what was so special, but $3.00 per pancake for a kid is crazy. I ordered two eggs, ham and hashbrowns and asked to substitute whole wheat toast for pancakes. I was told by the server that his manager won't allow substitutions. So I said charge me for the toast. I did not get any pancakes, but did get the toast I wanted. Our Bill was $23.00 plus. Crazy for a child's breakfast and a senior. Then they would not take my coupon because they said we had a special order. Can you figure that out. My weekly breakfast at IHOP is now over. I will also tell all of the ladies in my church group. Debra Vinson

Not being paid for all hours worked, hassle to get tax returns.

Managers who steal tips and for crying out loud they are on camera doing it!

Drunk customers who do and say as they please to you with no choice but to take it or repeatedly call the police.

    1. Evidently they don't stand for much if there are so many complaints about ihop. We had lunch there today and my husband has bacon and eggs. The bacon must have been cookded a few days prior and the strawberry crepe had some pink sauce on it rather than red strawberry sauce. My biscuits and gravy didn't resemble anything my father used to make. No sausage to flavor the pasty gravy and not much in the way of spices either. The biscuits were so filled with air as most baked goods are now and if you sucked the air out you wouldn't have much to swallow of the biscuit. Now that I read that mgrs. and other steal tips I may be sorry that my husband left a large tip for the poor waiter. He looked like he didn't like serving us such food. WEll, never again. Hope corporate reads these things. They can't stay in business forever with things like this going on everywhere.

After 23,000 miles my vehicle sounded like a semi-truck with the road noise, comming from the tires that came with the car (Kumho). I went back to the dealership in New Port Richey, Florida and was told that the aforementioned tires were "Show Room Tires" When asked what that means he shrugged his shoulders and walked away, I was totally disgusted by the service writer's attitude. 23. Two years ago, I went to the IHOP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin--the one near the Mitchell Airport. My family loved the service there and the manager was great--he was friendly, personable and made the place feel like home. I had such a great experience there that I decided to go there again this year when I came and visit my relatives. It was mid-morning when we went to the restaurant before we head home. This was my worst experience and I was very disappointed. Stepping into the place, there was no one to greet us in the front and we had to wait. Servers were either walking pass us to other tables or they were in the back talking because we heard foul language coming from the kitchen. When we asked to be seated in the smoking section, I was told that Wisconsin has a new law that prohibits indoor smoking in public places and that was fine. We were seated in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen. Our service was great. However, if there's a no smoking law in Wisconsin, why did we smell cigarette smoke? As a smoker, I know how a cigarette smoke smell like and it was extremely strong in the back of the restaurant. It wasn't until the door near the kitchen was opened that we realized that the scent was coming from within the room--which we later learned was the office. Halfway through our meal, we overheard someone yelling in the kitchen, using profanity. It wasn't until we went up to pay for the meal that the voice we heard yelling was the manager's. My relatives spoke highly of this place; however, this will not be on my to-do list next year when I visit my relatives because my kids don't need to hear such foul languages from someone who is supposed to be a "manager." Advice to make a this place a better place? Replace this douchebag with the old manager because the place was better then.

On 09-29-12 my husband and I went to an IHOP at Alliance, TX off of Interstate 35. The waiter who served our table did not get the order correct but another server made it right, no biggy since that happens now and again. My complaint is that the original waiter had those big hugh ear holes that stay open with round disks. It actually made my stomach turn looking through his ears! My daughter has tattoos and has to cover them up for her job and they are small tiny flowers, not big glaring holes in her ears. I wish IHOP had a higher standard for hiring.

  28. It amazes me how any restaurant specializing in breakfast, 24 hours a day, could determine that the very best time to close down the kitchen for cleaning would be not at 1:00 - 2:00 AM, 3:00 to 4:00 AM, BUT 5:00 TO 6:00 AM. I kid you not! This happened to us in Jackson, Ms. (just off I-55) yesterday. Now keep in mind that within a block, their competition, Cracker Barrel always opens at 6:00AM. They could have gotten our business along with a lot of other people trying to get to a major event with thousands of people that started not far from there at 6:30AM. Really dumb people at work!

  30. To whom it may concern,

I had a fantastic meal and the service was great; however, the manager or owner of the place treated my boyfriend and myself as if we were criminal because we had a coupon for a buy one get one free meal. He kept questioning where I got these coupons. I got them out of the Chicago Tribune Sunday edition(and they were good till Nov. 18th 2012.) He told me NOT to give my extra to other patrons. At that point I was ready to but did not. As we left he examined the coupon and asked where we were from and I told him a small town and a larger town south of the Larkin Street Store in Joliet. He then said that is where the coupons should be used. There was nothing on where it should be used. My boyfriend and I head up to Joliet once a month. We will never ever go to this IHOP again. I am truthful in my doings with who ever I patronize. I will not go back again.

  32. I am a very irritated parent! My child worked at the Midlothian VA. IHOP 12321 Chattanooga Plaza.I have recently contacted your corporate office as well as the district manager for this location. The general manager needs a wake up call! There should be ZERO tolerance for racism, sexual comments, strong lack of leadership. I strongly suggest this matter is investigated for the sake of your buisness. My nineteen year old daughter was smart enough to get out of that place and inform me of these issues.

  33. I am very badly dissapointed at the Ihop in Stillwater Oklahoma,we have been there several times and everytime we had very slow Service .It did not matter if there were 10 People or 50 People there to be served ,our minimum wait was 35 min for a simple Waffle Breakfast,so we stopped going there for about 2 months.Gave it another try this morning Restaurant was about half full the Waitress was lousy she was more interested in talking to her Friend than to bring us more Coffee,we waited 40 min for our Order and walked outthis was the last time we will never go back.

  36. I have been a customer for years at the Ihop in Reno NV. I have got to say Im glad I always sit on the side I do!! Wow talk about nasty!! Ive also heard complaints on Azita (one of the owners daughters) about how they find her hair in their food and how rude she is and is racist!! I have sat over on her side just because there isnt a table open on the other. I wont make that mistake again!! My food was cold, my table was dirty, I saw her take all of these orders but cant keep up with all of it! Then Ive seen her cus and start fights with the people over on the other side (where I normally sit). I sat next to this nice black couple and they had said that she always refuses them to sit on her side. There have been complaints on Azita and her husband James and nothing is ever done because everything is still the same. My name is Erika and if you are ever in that Ihop sit on Nahid and Franks side you will not be disappointed!!!

  37. IHOP, also I think it is wrong when an IHOP supervisor threatens the job of an employee, when people request vacations. A supervisor should learn how to manage schedules for these type of request, even if they are a new manager. I have lived in Florida for twelve years and gone to IHOP on 41 in Bradenton, FL. I never have had a complaint to say about any worker there, and i have seen them work very hard, with tough customers and still give good service. I'm not understanding why management, cant work with their employees to keep them happy, so that they could be happy workers and serve better. Please make sure that your employees get their breaks, lunches and vacations, just like anyone else in other companies. It's a shame that servers at restaurants cant be treated equally, when they work just as hard to treat their "guests" well. I forgot your cooks are also great, when your managers order the ingredients that they need to do the menus assigned.

  38. The Ihop in lake grove ny on long island is absolutely disgusting. The waiting area smells of feces. The walls are covered in fruit flies in the dining room. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. For weeks the store smelled of death like an animal died someplace in the kitchen. I've never been more appalled in an establishment in my life

  39. Terrible Experience at Ihop in Stillwater Oklahoma again and again and again,We have never had a good experience eating at ihop in Stillwater ,no matter if the Place is full or not our wait has never been under 35 min. for a very simple Order so we stopped going for a couple of months tried it again last Week the Restaurant was barly half full we ordered Coffee a Waffle 2 Eggs and 2 Pancackesafter beeing ignored by the Waitress because she was talking with a Friend about her IPhone we sat there for 30 min without a Coffee Refill finally after 35 min she came and asked if we want some Coffee duhhh,so we said we will just ppay for our Coffee and leave the Manager came to the Register to ask why we were leaving and I told him that we will not ever come back again we had a couple seated beside us they told us they waited 45 min to get there Breakfast. So this is ongoing someone should really look in to this,we went to eat Breakfast somewhere else the Place was full and we had our Breakfast within 15 min.Shame on you for such bad service ,I will give you my Name but it wont matter since I did it before and nothing changed.

  40. I recently was fired from the New location off of Highway 204 in Savannah, GA. 4A GAteway Blvd. I was doing just fine until a "manager" decided that he didnt like being called what he had been acting. Now I understand that I was out of line, but Akim Baker, who manages night shift, is a poor excuse for anyones supervisor. He disappears for long periods of time, is rude to his employees and customers blatantly aware of his screw ups and doesnt care; has many other servers complain to other managers, yet he is stil there. Hes been let go wice for reason I am not sure of, and would like soeone from Corporate investigate his behaviors. Ive had guests that Ive waited on tell me they would call and complain, so if its not just me who doesnt feel right about him, then that should say something to someone.

I am a regular at ihop and every time he's there he is rude to his employees, saying I don't care what you have to do just do it or your fired. Mike is the most unethical person I have ever met. Mike tomko talks down to his workers like they are nothing to him. Honestly those workers work there asses off and I will not be going back to any ihop if Mike tomko is still working there . I have talked to many employees from the Arlington ihop and they all have had nothing nice to say about him. I believe if you treat your employees right they will work hard for you. And Mike tomko does not do right by his employees, I am ashamed to say I've. Eaten at ihop on Arlington road anymore.

  45. I am an employee of IHop 1919. Our female night manager is very rude. She has a couple of "favorites" and treats the rest of us like dogs. She's even compared us to her two dogs saying, "The servers are like my dogs, if you let them get away with it once they'll never learn." She talks to certain employees about other employees problems. Thats confidential and shouldn't be repeated. I've even had a few of my tables talk about how rude she is to us employees. She really needs to retire now, not 10 months from now... I'm a great server and know what i'm doing. We have another night manager named Khalid that is amazing! I'll work my tail off that man because he knows how to treat his employees...with RESPECT! They have 15 servers and i know atleast half will be finding another job if something is not done about this manager. Christmas will suck without a full wait staff...

The waiter was flirting with me the whole time and made me feel so uncomfortable not only because of what he was saying to me but because I was with my boyfriend!! I have always gone to this location and will not be going back!! The waiter even wrote "Loser" on my receipt. What is this? He thought he was being funny and joking but actually made us both feel so so uncomfortable. He even sat down in front of us!! He also told me that if I didn't finish my salad I could never go back to this location!! I know he thought this was funny, but it was not at all!!! Worst experience ever!!! :(

  47. I let the three days pass, so I could do the survey. I tried! We ate at IHOP in Benton Arkansas on Dec. 3, 2012 at 7:59 p.m. I just have one thing to say. They have a jewel in a waitress named Amber B! She needs a huge raise & consideration for management. She was the kindest & most interested in the customer than any waitress we have had anywhere! She was so friendly & outgoing that right away my husband & I looked at each other and agreed we have never encountered a waitress that good before. They had a little trouble in the back getting the order out in a timely manner, but Amber made up for it by making sure we were well taken care of in the wait. She was very apologetic as well. Kudos to AMBER B in Benton, Arkansas! I hope someone in management sees this and compensates her for a job well done! I cannot even describe how sweet & personable she was.

  48. On Christmas Eve I went to the Neptune NJ location and was told by a teen greeter that there would be a 15 minute wait for a table. There was also a family of four in front of me. The restaurant was barely half full so I asked why? The teen told me cuz the kitchen was backed up. I thought that sounded odd so I asked to see the manager. The teen greeter got angry and started muttering till a woman came up and said "I'm his mother. What's the matter." I said "I want to talk to the manager not his mother!" That is when the teen threatened me with physical violence. He was restrained by his mother (a waitress there). The manager came over and told me that this was correct, and IHOP employees are told not to lie to the customer. She then said that the 15 minute wait was due to half the dining room being closed, despite there being two couples seated there. A few moments later she said she had a group of 100, although no groups were evident. I have never been threatened with physical violence in a restaurant before and was fairly shocked, as was the family of four who fled in fear. This location is notorious for poor service by the whole community, but this is the worst I've ever experienced.

  50. I am completely pissed off at this restaurant on Rt 33 in Hamilton Twp, Mercer County, New Jersey!. Do NOT use a Gift Card and expect it to be treated as a gift. I received a gift card of $25.00 for Christmas from my family and went to this restaurant today to use it.
My Bill came to $26.50. I gave them the gift card and received a recepit for amount due: $1.50. I applied a $5.oo tip to this and expected to be charged $6.50 from my personal bank account.
These people had the audacity to charge my DEBIT CARD the entire amount of this bill - which should have been only 1.50, after the gift card.
Where the hell do they get off STEALING money out of my checking account and REFUSING to refund me MY money.
The Restaurant manager, George, told me the Franchise owner is Ed Skwara.
    STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  52. The Restaurant from Hell
On Monday, January 7, 2013 4 couples had scheduled a 9:00 AM breakfast at the IHOP at 9099 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. I arrived alone first. Shortly afterward I went ahead and ordered. Soon after that couple number 2 arrived, followed closely by couple number 3. With no sign of couple number 4, couples 2 and 3 placed their orders. After about 20 minutes couple number 4 arrived and placed their orders.
Shortly 4 servers appeared, each holding a cup of syrup in each hand. After muttering to each other we finally convinced them they were in the wrong place so they took their syrup elsewhere. After a while the waitress brought 4 meals. Two were given to couple number 3. One meal was given to the man in couple number 2. The woman in couple number 2 got nothing as the waitress gave her meal to the man in couple number 4 (he had just ordered a couple of minutes earlier). At this time 4 of the 7 people had been served. After the 4 people who had been served were nearly finished eating the lady in couple number 2 was served her meal. I, who had ordered 2 biscuits and gravy before any other order still had no food and the lady in couple number 4 still had no food either. I complained to the waitress since it had been 25 minutes since I had ordered. She disappeared and returned with the meal for the lady in couple number 4.
At this point I left the table in search of the restaurant manager. I was informed by the floor manager that the restaurant manager was in a meeting. At this point the floor manager made no effort to address the problem. He seemed satisfied to have informed me that the restaurant manager was unavailable. Much like the waitress who obviously felt that once she placed the order into the kitchen she was free of all further responsibilities he felt no further obligation. Whether a customer had received their order was no longer her concern as she seemed content to deliver what the cook delivered to her when and if he actually delivered the food at all.
After I returned to the table I found my order had arrived. I informed the waitress that 25 minutes was entirely too long to wait for an order of biscuits and gravy that took all of 30 seconds to prepare and she could give them back to the cook.
Thoroughly disgusted with a staff that demonstrated clearly that it was incompetent and completely lacking in even the most basic requirements of serving the public, I left. Determined to add one more insult to injury the staff stood idly by and waited until the waitress finally showed up to accept payment for my coffee.
Several things about the staff have been made painfully obvious to me:
    • They have no idea what they are doing.
    • They can’t deliver food to the right table.
    • They can’t deliver food to the right customer.
    • They are willing to just wait on the cook to give them the correct food.
    • They don’t care how long a customer waits for their order to be filled.
    • Staff incompetence is the direct result of an incompetent restaurant manager.
    • The manager should be fired instantly.

As a protest, this letter will be sent to IHOP corporate headquarters, distributed to my extensive personal email address list, and to the mayor and council of each of the 19 cities in Johnson County, Kansas. It will also be posted to local web sites and as many internet locations as I can find. I will never patronize this IHOP again and will try to persuade as many people as possible to also avoid “The Restaurant from Hell”. Call it overreaction if you like but remember, you brought it on yourself.

The managers there Erillo, John and Erik are all sexist's, they hate women employees and they squeeze the female managers out to get hours and to control the money and staff. We were in there for a short meal and the manager errillo was so rude he refused to take off an incorrect item from our bill that a John wrote on it and said too bad, the food was cold, the service was awful and the whole time the so called manager errillo was yelling at the top of his lungs at as he called them :cabronas" and bitches to move their asses or be fired, he was rude to us the customers and said very sexually discriminatory and insulting things to the female servers there. We will absolutely never ever go there agian and the other manager who showed up Erik was also very rude and laughed at our check and also said the work "cabronas" and then smiled at my husband and me and our three daughters as we paid the wrong inocrrect bill, that store should be closed down completely unless they get non abusive, customer orientated managers there who do not hate women it is against the law to discriminate against women in this country and at i hop they are sexist and shove good women workers out because they show them up and the customers like them better shame on you i hop why dont you call yourselves manhop?

Harbor, tonight went into the back office as we were eating there, he had an envelpe in his hand and charged toward a very nice sweet young women, through the envelope in her face and said "if I ever see you in my store again I will call the police on you for tresspassing" the young women and the nice gentle man she was with turned around and walked out, My husband and I were terrified, the manager named errillo then stomped back to the kitchen where he proceded to yell and scream at the women rushing around trying to do their work and he used profanity towards a couple of them and called them dumb and if they did not like what they were doing to get the F333 out and not come back? Is this any way to have a meal and pay the prices we did for lousey food and hear this type of verbal abuse by managers that are left to run the ihop stores? My daughter worked very hard there and never got a writeup, never did any thing wrong and customers loved her, and they loved amy, but that store is sexist and that is against the law the men there if you can call them that, are jelous of the hard work they do and their brains!! so they shove them out, all the managers are men and they verbally abuse all the women. and the owner and manage linda do not care and allow them to do what ever they want and hire excons and felons, my daughter got a far better job making much better money within 24 hours and those losers will be there forever because they have to they are not here legally I think at least Erik is not, they are the ones breaking laws, called: sexism, recism verbal abuse, sexual harrassment and many many more.

    5. manager john from the ihop store by disneyland on harbor at 1840 S. harbor, was chasing a young girl down in the parking lot and blocked her from being able to get into her car two nights ago and in the store grabed her by the arm and said please dont quit you will regret it. the poor young women just wanted to quit and that freak physically pulled her arm we watched him chase her down begging her not to leave him there and then he blocked her from leaving she gave him some keys and said I am done here. we found out it was a manager named beth and she was done dirty there and he and erik and errillo planned the whole thing to hurt her, she got away but what kind of manger is this john that treats employees that way

  75. My name is Michelle, and I was a visitor to a restraunt in Sioux Falls, store 8239 on Saturday March 16. I HAVE NEVER IN MY 40+ YEARS BEEN IN A RESTRAUNT THAT GAVE BETTER SERVICE FROM THE MINUTE I OPENED THE DOOR TO THE MINUTE I LEFT. I came to town for a business seminar, and was in quite a grumpy mood when we decided to grab a bite to eat, the second we opened the door, we were greeted with immediate service, with smiles everywhere. The place was packed, but we were gived the best food, with little wait time, the manager Suriee (sp?) came to make sure we were satisfied, and I can't tell you how much we were, I walked out of there wide eyed and in a great mood that wasnt there when I walked in and spent the next 15 minutes raving to my husband how I couldnt believe an eating establishment could do that! My job is finding flaws/errors in things, this is a first for me, but there just wasnt one...not one. I dont write to compliment often, but every member of that staff needs praised for their teamwork. We live 2 hours away, but we will be back often (we take several trips a year to Sioux Falls). KEEP THAT WONDERFUL MANAGER AND HER STAFF! Thank you for the best visit I can ever say I have had at ANY restraunt! Michelle and Doug Mitchell from Spencer Iowa.

  76. Hello my wife and I went into the Ihop in Hesperia Ca on March 16 2013. I order some pancakes and found to my surprise that Ihop had made the the top of the lids of the syrup with different colors and names of the syrups. That was great and easier to find. Now i sure this cost you a lot of money to upgrade this location. I was thinking to make up the cost is to put your Ice Coffee in stores, markets ect. The Ice Coffee is very good and placing them in stores would sell much more then just in your restaurants.

  78. I haven't seen an IHOP commercial on tv very often, and then tonight I see one and it shows a black guy with a white woman. Who advises your company? Talk about over use of something that has been worn thin. You have creative food, fairly priced, and clean facilities - spend you advertising money showing off your business and get off the social trends that are stale.

  79. I visited IHOP in Jacksonville Florida off 103rd on 4 May 2013. It was busy and a rainey day; but, no execuse for skipping me. I don't mind waiting, however, when it is my turn to be seated and served, serve me. Apparentely, the host scratched my name off the list and started sitting people before me. So when I complainted about the situation, the manager was like we only skipped you twice. I said accommodate me. She said 10 percent. I said how's about 20. She said 10 take it or leave it. I laughed and took the 10 percent. Once seated Thomas my waitorwas awsome! The general manager needs to check her attitude.

  80. I use to work for the ihop in coralville ia, you people should really know that they have roaches in thier galley, the manager tony on night shift drinks beer in the kitchen oh and so do the cooks. I was so amazed by the fact that the manager was so open to tell me that he drinks and gets high in the work place. And they wonder why i didnt want to work thier anymore? When i got hired i was told i could work 30 hours a week, well thats not the case. The day time manager ended up telling me that i would have to be on call because he had no room for me on the schedule. I told him that if didnt give me atleast 4 days a week for sure that i would have to find another job. I waited at home for 6 days without a call saying i could come in to work. so i quit happily, this place was horrible to work/eat at. 2 months after i quit me and my boyfriend went in there to eat dinner. The food was cold and my son didnt get his sausage with his meal which was the main part for him. we complained to the manager and all she did was tell me not to come back there after accusing me of being a mad ex employee? why would i be mad if i quit on you guys? i still have the picture that i took of our food, our food was barely touched. she said our plates were full so i took the pic to show the day manager but when i called him the next day he also told me to never come back in there again all because i complained about our food? so i pay good money to go eat somewhere and im not allowed to complain because i use to work there no thats bs. DONT EAT THERE, GO TO PERKINS. THIS IOHOP HAS ALOTT OF HEALTH HAZORDS. EVEN THE FREAKING HISPANIC COOKS DRINK BEER , WHICH OF COURSE THEY BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH HA HA WHAT A JOKE.

Best service but the treatment she was receiving from the cooks was awful. Was yelling and making rude comments to her. Its unprofessional. We were disgusted. 83. I know my sisters are enjoying there day but this has to be said
I decided to go to IHOP in Jersey City on 440 to eat breakfast...I don't have a racist bone in my physical structure but this has to be said. Number 1 it is ran by a predominantly Latino Americans. If their were any African Americans or any other people of color they were working so far behind the scences near the dishes and the trash vendors..of course it was packed but I was rolling with the kids so its imperative I feed them.. I asked for a table sat and waited to be called... I noticed that we were sitting for a while. I also noticed that there were a a lot of customers who were of Latino descent being seated before me at tables..wow.. I then got up and ask the Anglo Saxon lady in the front why haven't I been called... She said its because I ask for a table..I sat down after my inquiry but it didn't settle with me and being from the south it didn't feel right.. It felt a little Jim Crowish being exhibited because the Latino family next to me we're seated and they came in the door 10 mins ago in comparison to my almost 40 min wait..they were
Seated at a table....wow.. I had to voice this and ask why are you seating customers that are coming after me before me and you skipped me on the log sheet.. And your putting the families with 5 or more in the group combining the tables? So your saying because its more of a profitable for IHOP to keep me waiting to service large Latino families who arrived after me?and there's an empty seat available and I haven't been seated.. The manager then says oh yeah I'm sorry there's a seat over there...
I said I told you how is it not visible to you..
So we sat down I was heated but for the kids sake I calmed down.. But when I saw more of the Latino Americans being seated when arriving..I know this because I watched them from the window come directly in....to the table!!! Window view. When the African American families came in the gave them seats in the back no frontal window view only Latino s and yours truly only because I applied pressure to the manager in front of other customers....wow... I told two different waiters to tell the manager I wanted to make a complaint about the distasteful service being displayed by her management. Her name was Amanda.. She never came to the table once to talk... After being informed twice..Ive been to a lot of restaurants and I've never seen anything like this...I wasn't looking for anything free.. It was the respect and consideration a customer should feel when they come to your place of establishment not being promoted....I'm never eating there again...I will be calling cooperate Monday ASAP....
Again this isn't an attack against my Latino brothers and sister... Who are some of my closest associates who know my heart so does the most high.
Sometimes we as people of color lose sight of the struggle to be treated as equal and some chose to embrace separatism to be accepted by the majority. But to the majority you will always be minority....

  84. My name is Louis Lasky. This mothers Day eve my wife suggesteed we take our daughter and her family along with us to the I Hop resturant on Sample road in Coral Springs Florida.
The last time I had eaten there about 4 years ago for lunch the service and wait time was terrible. Tonight we arrived and immediatly were seated at a table for six. The place was 90 (nighty) percent empty. Five tables were occupied. I figured that would be good. We ordered at 7:00 PM.
Nothing fancy. By 7:45 nothing had come. The waitress came over and said they were "having trouble in the kitchen and the food would be out soon" .At 7:55 3 dishes arrived and a few minutes later one more arrived. Three of the dishes were totally wrong. I waited and then walked to the counter and asked "what is going on"? The one guy in the kitchen ignored my question. The waitress was totally besides herself and totally apologetic.
I waited five more minutes for my dinner and then requested we all walk out.The grandkids were totally enbarrassed and I mortified and wanted to completely ----- the resturant. The two waitreses were totally apologetic.
Of course I paid nothing.and just left what food that was on the table behind.
Folks -that operation is 'the worst of any in any chain' that werves food. It should be closed immediately. It truly 'sucks'! Our family will NEVER EVER AGAIN set foot there or in one of your facilities. Never again.
    Respectfully Louis Lasky
P.S. This is what one of the previous customers wrote you:
    • They have no idea what they are doing.
    • They can’t deliver food to the right table.
    • They can’t deliver food to the right customer.
    • They are willing to just wait on the cook to give them the correct food.
    • They don’t care how long a customer waits for their order to be filled.
    • Staff incompetence is the direct result of an incompetent restaurant manager.
    • The manager should be fired instantly.
**** To which I ADD: These comments kinda cover your operations. How totally sad

THE PRICING IS REDICULOUS For COFFEE FOR THREE PEOPLE AND DIDN't get to finish drinking the carafe between the three of us. I felt like we were being rushed out. It might have been the watress trying to keep up well and she did. BUT THE PRICING OF FOOD IS INSANE. IT was almost 8.00 all together for just the coffee. I think they need to sell by the cup, and have that option. BUT 10.00 FOR 6 PANCAKES!!!!!!! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

The first time I was the only person in the restaurant and 30 minutes went by with no food. I was finally told the cook was on lunch. I left. The second time there was 25 people in the restaurant and 2 cooks available. The manager finally decides after standing around talking for 20 minutes, to go back and help out. The food was ordered at 10:20pm and at 11:10pm we still had no food.We left. Small orders at that. I file a complaint on line and guess what....5 days go by and no response. I call customer relations only to be told it will take another 4 days. My family and I will never set foot in an IHOP again. I'll be sure to mention to my co-workers where we won't be having our off-site meetings at.

The letter got me fired, and now I am in fear that I may be physically harmed by workers at ihop. the reason being is my letter talked about all the bad stuff at ihop. 96. We just left the IHOP in Prince Frederick Maryland. We went due to the kids eat free after 4; I took my daughter and one of her friends-each 10 years old. We ordered and had a great meal; our waitress was wonderful-Antonia. However my bill was NOT discounted the kids meal and I pointed this out to the waitress and manager. The managers response was "It doesn't say it here anywhere but on the commercial it says they must order from the kids menu." The waitress and I looked everywhere in this store and found it no where in print that outlined this requirement. If you don't own a television how does a person know? So we left on a sad note. I am part of a large single parent group here in Calvert County; I will contact everyone and reccommend they not waste time or MONEY at this establishment due to the FALSENESS OF THEIR ADVERTISING. 98. Subject: IHOP #1934, 6555 Sunland Park Dr, El Paso, TX 79912
-- Abysmally bad state of affairs on July 10, 2013
It is not my custom or habit to be other than kind and understanding with people I happen to interact at any point in time. Yet, earlier this morning the female manager and workers of subject establishment seriously tested my tolerance to a point where I decided to no longer frequent IHOP.
I am retired and have oftentimes met a dear friend at subject IHOP for breakfast, good conversation and relaxation. Moreover, my friend and I appreciate a pleasantly quiet atmosphere as well as professional behavior by the members of staff serving at tables.
Today, and a few times before, that desirable atmosphere has deteriorated to a noisy three-ring circus. To start her day, the manager -- who clearly unveils a chronic case of overstressed self- importance -- decided to have a noisy cheerleader party combined with loud pep talks and primeval whooping and hooting -- and perhaps chest pounding -- right in front of the kitchen… Eventually, the place became so noisy that we were unable to maintain a normal conversation.
If that wasn’t bad enough, there seems to have been a large employee turnover at this location leading to extremely bad table manners, so to speak. For instance, waiters rudely inquire while hurriedly walking by: “is everything OK?” as soon as your mouth is full with the first bite and fail to show up when you really need help. The only situation that seems to be important to them is ripping your finished or even unfinished plate from the table just a few inches right in front of your nose. It’s an obvious signal that they want you to pay-up and leave.
In conclusion, the manager and her crew today embodied a wild hurried horde of utterly untaught individuals. To me, this is unacceptable behavior and, hence, upturned my usually non-judgmental attitude.

  99. I had a HORRIBLE experience at my local Ihop yesterday(Franklin Park, NJ), that I frequently visit, but plan to never again! There was a sign as my boyfriend and I walked in, that said to "Like us on Facebook and you get a free short stack of pancakes", so as we were seated I went and liked Ihop on facebook. It says on the facebook page that if you do not receive your code for a free short stack to message them. Instead I just asked my waitress who rudely said she knew nothing about it and called over the manager. The manager "Edna" came over with an annoyed attitude, the waitress asked how this facebook "thing" worked. The manager than asked me when I liked us on facebook and I said today. She said it takes two days to receive the coupon. Being disappointed, I said "Well that's not what it says on facebook or on the sign you have in the entrance." she replied "Well wait two days!" in a very rude manner! I then explained that I will not be returning in two days! It is not stated that it takes two days to receive. I told Edna that and she threw her hand up in the air, said, "Yeah, I'll tell them" as she walked away! Knowing she was just writing me off, I knew she would not "tell" anyone, so I decided that Ihop's management needed to be notified! I was shocked at her attitude and the way she spoke to me as a costumer!! Even the waitress said she was extremely rude! I am so upset at the way I was treated by your manager and plan to not go back to that Ihop!

  102. on monday july 22-- my family came in from out of town and we decided to out for brunch. my mother and i have both recently had knee replacement surgeries, my father in his 90's and yet we didn't complain when it took 45 minutes before we were seated. understandable there were 5 of us and it takes a little longer . i personally have worked in the hospitality industry most of my life and understand. the only time we saw any management was when a lady complained that there was a lot of people standing up front and yet a lot of empty tables. what she probably didn't think about was that maybe a bunch of tables left at the same time. breakfast was taking at least half an hour. it was a good thing we left lotsa spare time before they had to be at airport. service was good though. not the best dining experience i have to say, my brother also in industry was not impressed with cleanliness of bathrooms. not much to really recommend the place to others . sorry.

There are things going on that should not be taking place in a work place. The non-blacks are getting more days, and day less work. If a black cook calls out, that cook must bring in a letter. if the non-blacks call out, no letter need. If a black cook speaks up about something, the next week they are given 2 days to work. In training they told me, with hard work,no call out, and doing your job. Goods will come out of it. Since I've been there. All I see is, non-black cooks walking in 15, 20 minutes late no call. Calling out not bring a letter, not pulling there weight on the clean, but gets promotions. You ask about more days, they tell you they cutting down on labor. Then why are they still hiring more people if your cutting labor. Something needs to take place. s

  107. Ok so I went to IHop in Midlothian TurnPike in Richmond, VA. As I was seated I heard the manager in charge who I believe her name is Yolanda Gavara yelling at her employees. At first I thought it was just because they were busy but then she starts talking in another language which I believe is spanish and starts yelling and stuff. The waitresses were being told to do other things besides there job and the manager tells the host to go to the kitchen and arrange the forks or spoons. She then goes back to the kitchen and starts yelling again. There was this very sweet waitress who got yelled at by the manager infront of the costumers. I mean I know its a job and it might be stressfull but c'mon you dont yell at your employees 24/7 and tell the host or waitresses to do other things besides there job. I mean its clear that these people are being mistreated and they need another manager because that manager that I saw at IHop that day is out of control. I dont know if she thinks she can control everyone there but you need to change her or something.
Im american and I think they need someone else.

The Christiansburg Virginia IHOP has repeatedly given poor service over the years and yet I still wonder back once and awhile and then quickly remember why it has been so long since my last visit. Today there was only one server at 5PM and it took forever to get our food. It didn't help that she took a 10 minute or so break while our food sat in the kitchen. Then we had to actually get her attention ourselves for a drink refill. This is while she was refilling syrup containers which while I know that has to be done I think checking on your customers should be a much higher priority. If this IHOP doesn't get some management SOON, they will close.

  116. So... I recently visited your ihop store location in Rock Springs Wyoming needless to say it was the worst service Ive ever experianced/had in my 25 years of eating at restauraunts. The server didnt ask us how we were she was rude, she got our order completley wrong and thats probobly because she didnt right it down nor read our order back to us and on top of all that the food that was brought out was cold, the hashbrowns were hardly even cooked the sausage was so old it was hard and shrivled up. I was so disapointed because of how hungry I was when I went in, unfortunatly I lost my appetite. The servers name was Dawn and when I asked If I could speak to a manager she informed me that she was the asst. General manager I literally almost lost it because she seriously didnt even offer us a new meal or even a discount on the food we recieved, it also made me think ive worked in restaurants for over 8 years and ive never seen an establishment let there manager who is obviously payed salary wages serve as well while keeping the tips it was just an overall really bad experiance and I WILL not be coming back any time soon if EVER!! I really hope you can look into this place because seriously its a F'n JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am the girlfriend of one of the servers that work there and she wouldn't let him wait on me. it has never been a problem before and she seems to have no problem by letting her favorites have their children and significant others eating at their loved ones tables. I am appalled by this and very upset. I have never met anyone so rude in my life. She has said very unprofessional things to my boyfriend before, and she treats her employees like dirt if there aren't her favorite

  120. I tried to call in my lunch order at the 3101 W Oakland Park Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL location and the phone just rung and rung. We tried calling for a good 45 minutes. We decided to go in and there was not a soul in the restaurant, the staff were either seated at the tables chatting and didn't pay us any attention to us. When we finally got someone's attention and were able to place our order, we had to wait 35 minutes for our food!! We wasted our entire lunch break fooling with IHop and I will never return.

  121. The Ihop in marathon fl has become a joke due to the manager currently running the place. Her name is clara yates. She is forcing the employees to serve rotten food. Noone is allowed to throw anything away due to food costs. She yells at the employees in front of customers constantly. I know thay therw have been several complaints about her. She is also not a certified manager. She talks to the staff like they are 2 years old. When staff members go to her she tells them if it doesn't pertain to her she doesn't care. Staff have tried talking to the owner buy nothing is done because the owner is having an affair with her. Several employees have been forced ouy suw to her simply not liking them. She also runs around spreading rumors about employees behind their backs. Marathon is a small place and word spreads fast. Majority of locals no longer want to go in there. Something needs to be done or this store will be out of business soon.

  123. IHOP - BRICK, NJ - WHAT A TERRIBLE SEEDY PLACE! Don't ever go here expecting a decent meal or any value. Small servings IF they get the meal correct. The Assistant Manager Ms. Kuras came over to antagonistically ATTACK our table for coupon use and multiple checks when the server said it was OK when we first sat down. Server SERVED ALL THE FOOD WRONG and Asst Man Kuras could only offer "well - he's new". No compensations for 5 food mistakes on a four person table. STAY AWAY unless you want Ms. Kuras to make you feel like puking on the way out the door. YUCK!

They said they couldn't do refunds. One worker was rude. Need to train cooks about the amount of food you serve. Greedy! Will not ever go back!

  125. I wanted some IHOP this morning so I called 4:50 and placed my order the lady said it would be done in 5 minutes I said wait until 520 to have it ready I drove 19 miles to get there. I was still a little early so I stopped by the gas station to get gas first. Then I drove over to the IHOP at 5:23 I gave the woman my money for her to tell me they are just now cooking my food. So I ain't no fool I waited until she handed me my food to complain that this was some bullshit. How do I call my order in ahead of time and my food is still not done once I get there. She said that they were having problems with the computer and could not rank up the order, but once I got there she added up the amount on her cell phone and then cashed me out so what does that have to do with my food not being done. So let's just say I was highly disappointed. —

They need to be reported, A lot of people have quit, because of the drug situation. I don't understand why they do that. Right infront of customers. It's crazy! They don't do drug screenings, because they know everyone will fail. They have terrible management. He needs to be fired.

  128. Our Daughter chose IHOP in Auburn as her WTG dinner for Getting A's on her report card and it was the worst place we have EVER gone to dinner. For starters our waitress was less then accommodating. She didn't listen. Took forever to bring our drinks and then gave everyone the wrong drinks. Then brought out the children's meals and my husband an myself had to wait another 8-10minutes for ours. My Chicken fried steak was mealy, the instant mash potatoes were dry and my broccoli was still frozen in the middle. I waitress then proceeded to hand us our check rite after serving us. My husbands breakfast was less then par also. The serving portions were small at best and for a $11.00 breakfast we expected more. The waitress never did come back to our table an my daughter wanted to take her waffles home so we had to find our own TO-GO box. We will NEVER patronage IHOP again,,

  132. I am not from the state of Florida so I am only commenting on my first visit to an IHOP AT 2754 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood Florida. I have loved evey IHOP I have ever been in so giving this IHOP a "ZERO" in customer service and hygiene is stretching my kindness.
My friend and I arrived at the IHOP in Hollywood for breakfast today and was greeted very nicely, and seated where we had requested.
That was the end of our good customer service. It took over 15 minutes for any server to approach our table, then was asked if we needed anything to drink, no eye contact was made at this point. While we waited for our beverage, the server seated another party, carrying what looked like a very large handbag. Not even 3 minutes later their server came over to great them, took their order and brought them their beverages. We were still waiting. Just as I was about to call our server to see if we were getting our drinks, I noticed movement next to me and out came this animal from her handbag. To my suprise there was a dog sitting at the booth with the three of them. Paws on the table and licking the girls face. To say the least, I was speechless. Twenty minutes later our food came, and it was presented as ordered. All the while the table next to us had eaten and was waiting for their check. I know for sure that there is a law that states we are not allowed to have animals in any food service establishment. As a Food Service Manager, I was disgusted by the absolute entitlement of not only the patrons, but also the server and management. I did speak with the assistant manager and all he could say was that he was sorry for any inconvience. We did not wait for the check but proceeded to the front and explained to our server that this is not only a health issue but is very illegal in any state service animals aside, identified very visable with all the proper tags and licenses.
This being said, I will NEVER return to this IHOP or any other establishment that allows the practice of excepting animals into a food service restaurant.
BEWARE OF THE THIS PRACTICE IN ANY FLORIDA FOOD SERVICE RESTAURANT!!!

  133. I recently visited the IHOP on Valley View Blvd in Roanoke, Va...... im sorry to say it was the worst experience ive ever had and will NEVER choose that establishment again, i had my children with me and from the car to the door i could see 2 employees standing outside smoking and from the smell i knew it was marijuana, once my kids were safely inside and we were seated from the time we ordered to the time our food was on the table took 52 minutes, most of our food was cold an inedible, however i felt bad for some of the employees as their manager Paul (i asked the waitress for the managers name) was screaming at and belittling his employees. Will never go to IHOP ever again

The server put her hand on the coffee spout and served the same coffee spout to me. She never asked us how are food was and never asked if my boyfriend needed a refill. I told the manger and he said he would talk to her. Leaving a cook followed us to our car I feel he was threaten us for saying something to the so called manger. Feeling upset from the experience I called the survey and they said they would call back, never heard from them.

  136. IHOP (El Paso, TX / I-10 / Geronimo Exit 24 / 7-DEC-2013 @ 8pm-9pm); unsatisfactory service, poor quality, bottom value, unprofessional waitress influenced by the manager's lack of floor oversight (kitchen not synchronized for quality). Food served cold and partially served after 45 minutes of waiting; manager influenced waitress intervention when quality was questioned regarding the cheesecake-bite pancakes not having cheesecake bites after eating about a third of the way into the meal; the waitress proceeded to slam the plate down startling all of my guests and then used my guest's utensils to cut into the center of his pancakes to prove with an attitude that cheesecake bites existed. If it wasn't for past IHOP advertising (beautiful job); the continually cold-served food and last night's beyond horrible experience ... ... I do believe IHOP would be struggling for business. Corporate intervention required for quality control abroad (Interstate I-10 East coast to West Coast).

  145. I went to IHOP in Columbus, OH with my family and we had a party of 25 people on New Year's Eve. We arrived at about 1:30am and it wasn't very crowded, it took us about 20 mins or so to be seated, but once we were seated that's when everything went wrong. It took us over an hour just to receive glasses of water and we sat there for another 2.5 hours before we finally left after never receiving our food. We asked to speak to the manager who never came out to speak with us or apologize to us for sitting there for about 3 - 3.5 hours and never receiving any food. I have called the corporate office 4 times since this incident happened and still there has been no resolution to it, but I am going to keep calling every week until something is done.....I already advised every manager that I spoke with that we will never come back to IHOP until this is resolved.......This was the WORST experience I have ever received at any type of restaurant in my life!

  148. My wife and I are 63 and 69. We used to look forward to going to IHOP at least once a week,..............When it was the real, and original IHOP. We were raised on original French and German crepes. They were delicious and fresh; as was the eggs, bacon, gravy, etc. IHop is a joke now for us. The last several times we went, the so-called crepes were burned, tough, and chewy. Couldn't eat them. They don't have what they were started with, and became famous for.......A PANCAKE HOUSE!!! Only thing I can figure is some college puke came in, took over, and changed everything to make more money, at the expense of customers. Guess what IHOP? Customers aren't stupid; therefore, you wont be making more money. Just keep serving the same crap! Jere and Barb Gist- Forsyth, Missouri; 830-832-5536.

One Of The Night Manager Smokes Pot In The Back When It's Slow, And The Gentle Man Manager During The Day Is Always Outside Smoking. The Wait Staff Cusses Loud Enough For The Customers To Hear Them, It Is Just A Very Hostile Environment All Together. Definatly Not A Family Restaurant.

  151. 75thave and Thomas in phoenix,az I walked in there thinkin this place was gonna suck, it was so packed on Sunday I was so mad cause I was waiting for a long time, and when I finally got a seat, I sat there in a 2 seater table with my kid, this fat people kept shoving my kids arm, so I got up and said lets go talk to the hostess to get another seat, when I told her I wanted a booth she told me its only 2 of u, and I said YES! And she looked at her manager like seeing if she can get the ok, the manager looked at me and smiled and said give it to him, the hostess was like are u sure, and she was like yes its ok, and I was like oh my god, I love u, well not exactly said that but thought it, then the girl that served me was named Diane even though she was so busy bussing other tables and serving tables she was bugging me a lot in a good way, she is far beyond the best waitress I ever had anywhere in the united states of America, I was so impressed that I had to write a review on here, now I cant stop going back, thses are the kind of servers, waiters, managers u want, they make u want to come back, even if its just one pancake or icecream, but my favorite is the chicken fried steak dinner, good chef!

They have there favorites & believe me when i say this, you can tell. They need shut down,if cooperate went in UNEXPECTEDLY they would be shocked at how things are ran....they always far warn staff that cooperate is coming and to do this or do that... 1 manager (supposedly manager ) treats wait staff rude & bullys them, his name is Rob & is a poor excuse for a manager cause he NEVER DID HIS JOB,unless you call listening to music his job...IHop will end up with a lawsuit the way they keep running it.

I will never be back to this restaurant.
