If you want to be ignored, treated rudely, and have every transaction screwed up, go to Hollister. Every single time I've gone there, somehow they manage to create some completely avoidable problem. First time during the Christmas rush, the check-out girl left an item out of our shopping bag... she was too busy flirting with her male co-worker to notice she left an item out of our order. Had to get in all that traffic AGAIN and go back and wait in line the next day to get the issue resolved. Yesterday, I got a shirt and was getting a gift card. Other shirts like it were on sale, so when I was given the total, it seemed appropriate for the shirt and the gift card together. Until the boy asked me how I wanted to pay for the gift card. When I asked why the shirt was so much, he said it wasn't one of the ones on sale and that he couldn't return my item for 15 minutes...HUH??!! Then after waiting in line to get the item returned, I was told that the money wouldn't appear back in my account for 3 to 5 business days. The girl that was the manager was about as apathetic as the guy "helping" me. I left beyond disgusted. And just as I walked outside the store, overheard a woman telling her daughter they had charged her for one more item than they had received. Unbelievably horrible way to run a business, terrible customer service, and, is it just me or is there anyone else that can't hear themselves think because of the music volume in the stores? No wonder they have such a hard time noticing customers. At this rate, their brand should become forgettable in time...the sooner, the better.
"Oh my God"...I feel your pain! We just went shopping there tonight 9/2/12 @ 5:30 at Hollister in the Lehigh Valley Mall in White Hall PA. What a bunch of ignorant, inconsiderate, rude, morons. I drove an hour to pick up a white top that they had. The SNOT that waited on me was so busy checking her text messages on her cell phone (which they all carry in their back pockets and check them consistently) that she ripped a large hole in my blouse while taking off the security alarm. She rang up my stuff, and then started taking off the security tags. My husband and I watched her tugging and pulling on the blouse to get the alarm off. She gave it one last harsh tug and we both watched her looked at the hole she just created. It was obvious she ripped it! She continued to roll the blouse and started to put it in my bag. I said "did you put a hole in that blouse”...and all she said was, “yes...but you can get another one and I didn’t do it on purpose”! She kept saying she didn’t do it on purpose they entire time I was there, and continued to check her cell phone for important texts! I said “no I can't get another one, because it was the last one left and I drove all the way out here (an hour) to pick it up”. She said "well I'll refund you your money”NOT A BIG DEAL TO HER AT ALL!! I was very upset and said, can you wait a minute and I'll see if I can pick something else out! She held onto my bag and did not give me the receipt yet, and when I came back, she had to get the manager (who wasn't any better). The manager asked for my receipt and I said, the clerk didn’t give it to me yet. The SNOT said she put it in my bag, but it WAS NOT IN MY BAG. She continued to say “I always put the receipts in the! Needless to say no only did I not get a receipt, but they gave me a store credit for the blouse they destroyed since the SNOT lost my receipt. They also told me they cannot discount the blouse or even sell a damaged item, but I said she was going to stick it in my bag even though she knew it was ripped! Also, during this ordeal, my husband and I witnessed the same SNOT forget to give someone their bag and they already walked out of the store, and she also forgot to put a pair of sweatpants in someone’s bag. If they weren’t so busy check their cell phones, they may be able to concentrate more on what they are doing. Then to top things off, a black man that worked there was out by the front doors dropping the "F" bomb left and right, while customers were still in the store. My husband confronted him, and they guy immediately wanted to fight. He said very loudly to my husband "WHAT"! (The way he said it was VERY aggressive, and his co-worker friend said, "man let it go")! Believe me I would feel sorry for them if my husband got a hold of them. What the heck kind of freaks work there? Does anyone care? The manages are just a clueless as the clueless clerks. It’s such a shame! Why does corporate let them carry cell phones all day? Also, the music is SOOOOOOoooooooooo LOUD, you can’t hear yourself think. And it's so dark in there, you can't see the prices. Someone better do something about these idiots, or the customers will have to carry guns on them just to shop there! DISGUSTING!!!
I had bought a sweater there that was supposed to be 30% off. I noticed when I got home and looked at the receipt it wasn't taken off. Went back to store and what i think was the "manager" told me it wasn't on sale. Asked if she could check the records and was just plain rude saying no. Said the sign might have been for something else on the table but the sweaters were the only thing on that side of the table. She had a crop top on and she was probably 16. Too young to be a manager. No her mother does not need help from your employees after your employee bumps into me and walks in front of them while trying to shop literally pulling the clothes from the shelf next to them while trying to shop. You ask what wrong manager..... your rude, non customer friendly staff. Also, its easy to tell a black customer after they express their feelings to leave or get out of the store or I will call security because the truth hurts your a RACIST store and have rude and racist employees. No child especially no BLACK child should wear Hollister. Please call me back Mr. District Manager... yeah right I'm sure you will. I will send this message to everyone I can about Hollister... FREE advertising from the black child that was killed in Florida. This was the most ridicules experience i have ever had! I needed to place an order and they made me place it twice and then it is said that i had an invalid order number! They never responded to me! I work in a Hotel and this would NEVER happen let alone be acceptable, and if something happen we would try to make it right. Not Hollister they just let it go! This was just ridicules, it is supposed to be easy to order on line and this has been the most difficultly I have ever had! I will never Order from them again and I will be telling EVERYONE I KNOW!!!!
I had an awful experience at Hollister today AGAIN! I placed an on-line order as I have done in the past and when I attempted to return part of the order, i was told that even though I had originally paid with PAYPAL, I would be issued a store credit. A few months ago I made a pay pal purchase and the credit went directly to pay pal. Apparently the policy has changed. If I had known this, i would have paid with my visa, mastercard or discover. The manager was some young inexperienced girl who could care less about my issue and handed me a business card with instructions to EMAIL customer service to resolve my problem. She claimed there was no customer service available and yet when i went on-line i immediately located a cust service number. The service at this place is HORRIBLE!!! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM THIS STORE! I am so disgusted with their customer service.
This is the most ignorant place to shop. Placed 3 orders for Christmas and all 3 orders screwed up. Just got the last one straightened out checked my emails and said it was cancelled. This company has no respect for the working American person. I hope all these ignorant people who work for this company have everything for their children for Christmas because I doubt my grandchildren will. Done, done ,done shopping here and family members who shop there for my grandchildren will also be done.
I bought two items on 1-14-2012 returned them on 1-14-2012 and they told me I would have my money back on my card in two weeks I haven't got my money on it yet. I called customer service they said somebody would get in touch with me by phone or E-Mail hopefully I will get this resolve thank you

Ditto on the horrible staff at Hollister in Torrance CA. Waited more than 20 minutes because of snail paced inefficient workers. They are rude and have absolutely no skills for customer service. They had a line of about 20 people waiting to purchase items, yet the workers were constantly leaving times to take care of non-essential tasks. Incredibly frustrating!!
Today a horrible storm with lightening and wind and rain came through town as my 13-year old daughter shopped with two friends at Hollister at Geneva Commons in Geneva, IL. The power went out in the entire Commons during the storm. I was shocked and appalled to hear that the staff essentially kicked the girls out of the store into the storm!?!? The staff said that the girls could wait out on the porch.......seriously??? During a lightening storm???? What the heck were they thinking???? Luckily, Yankee Candle not only welcomed the girls inside to wait out the storm, they also gave them cookies. I have always hated going into Hollister because the staff is rude and disinterested, the music is so loud I can't even communicate with anyone without screaming, and it's so dark and shadowy that I can't see anything.....just add this experience to the list. Won't be going back there any time soon.
Went to hollister today to exchange two shirts i purchased and when purchased them it was tax free weekend end so today they told me i had to pay the tax so i told the girl dont think thats right if i returned the items u would not gibve the money back on the taxes so why are u charging me now she was very rude maybe i was wrong but i paided it
I purchased some clothes for my daughter; however, the ink on the printer was not working so part of the receipt was missing. When I went to return some items their machine could not read the bar code because some of the numbers were missing. The manager told me that rather than getting a credit to my account, they would have to return the items like I did not have my receipt and give me a store credit. Some of the items had been marked down and they were trying to give me the markdown price. When I brought this to their attention, they tried to correct the mistake by adding other items to increase the return amount. After 30 minutes of confusion, I came home with $10 less than I should and a store credit rather than a credit card credit. I think there should have been a way to override the computer.
We did not have any issues with customer service at our local Hollister in Whitehall, Pa. They are always very polite. Our issue was, that the store is not very handicap accessible. The handicap doors were locked and we could not access them without an employee helping and to try and get around in the store with a wheelchair was almost impossible.
My daughter is adopted from South Korea and I find what Hollister'models have done to be appaling. How could they make fun of the people whoi are buying their products and for the Hollister management,this should never have happened and for them not to do much is even more appaling. This just proves that Corporate only really cares about is the bottom line and that is it. I say everyone who is upset by this should boycott Hollister. I have never found the store to be overly friendly or helpful to begin with, but after reading all the bad reviews about how they treat their customers when contacting customer svs. I will make sure that I never purchase another thing form Hollister or any other store affiliated with Hollister. Further more, I think all the models and everyone that was at the store in South Korea that was from the USA should all be fired for their horrible behavior. I take offense to this behavior since my daughter is adopted from South Korea. I am very respectful to the Koreans and their culture. I hope Hollister goes out of business after this.
I just came out of the Hollister at the fiesta mall in phoenix, az. I went in to exchange a jacket that was a bit too small. The lady at the desk said she cannot exchange it because she can't resell it b/c it smells.....when I preceeded to tell her that I do not smell she continued to yell it louder across the store that me and my merchandise has been worn, washed and stinks so she cannot help me any longer....f.y.i. I bought that jacket two weeks ago and haven't worn it nor washed it....i am thoroughly embarrassed. Then she tried to sell me a jacket that was twice the price of the one I was trying to return.....she had horriable customer service. I love this brand nut that rep. Messed it up bad for me....i dont think I will ever enjoy Hollister again
Okay so I went to the store in North Carolina at Northlake Mall this past week. When I went to return an item, they would not issue me a merchandise credit because I did not have my reciept. I have never heard of such a thing. Worst Return Policy ever!!!! and Then I was accused for stealing because I did not have my reciept which I thought it was absurd !!! I lost my reciept but the price tag was still on there and no inktag was attached, so how could've I stolen it with an Inktag still on. Complete idiots, i was so insulted and disrespected and I felt it was because of my race. Worst experince of my life. Where I work we treat customers with respect and without a recipet we try to find a item to match it and give them that refund. I could not believe this awful experince. Never shopping at the one at Northlake ever again. All employees do is text on their phone and flirt with other associates. I hate their customer service. It should be listed as worst places to shop at.
WE just had a bad encounter with a manager by the name of Trevor Walsh at there Sarasota,Fl square mall location. We are proviers at the mall my wife brought in a shirt that they forgot to take the security tag off on her last very large purchase. She had been carrying it around with her for almost a year when she finally remembered to bring it with her when she was releaving one of our employee's she walked in the front door with the item at the end of the night and was greated very nicely by one of the young ladyies and she showed her the shirt and explained what had happened the girl was very nice and sent her to the back of the store to have it removed. when she arrived at the back of the store the girl at the back took the shirt from her and brought it to the manager Trevor Walsh. He came out and was extremely rude and accusational inferring that my wife had stolen the shirt. My wife was shocked by his behavior left the shirt on the counter and walked out and came and told me what had happened in disbief I asked her to keep an eye on our store and walked in and asked the young lady if I could speak to the manager he came out and was extremely rude and loud right from the start getting right in my personal space face to face criticzed my wife calling her rude and just generally shocking me with his tone and behavior. I asked him his name and he did not want to give it to me and asked me why I wanted it. So I told him that I wanted it to write a formal complaint. He very reluctantly gave me his first name I then had to ask for his last name because again he was very reluctant to give it to me. I hope you address this issue I would not allow anything close to that kind behavior in any of my places of buisness. It shocks me thats your leval of management. P.S. Even the kids are complaining at the leval that you play your music
The manager at the Hollister store at the Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, California is a complete jerk. I lined up for 15 minutes as there were two customers ahead of me. When it was my turn, he simply told me that his cash register is now closed!! I later found out from his staff that his name is Josh. I can't understand how a quality and household name like Hollister could hire rude and thoughtless people like this guy. Makes me wonder if I should do any more shopping at Hollister.
This is the most unbelievable company I have ever dealt with. Being in retail myself, I cannot believe how unproffesional they are. They better get their act together. I will never buy my children anything there again.
I was in a Hollister store in Buffalo, NY Xmas shopping for my daughter and found a shirt I wanted to purchase. The shirt was hanging on a chain rack from the ceiling. Go to grab the shirt in my daughter's size and the girl working was like "you can't have that shirt. It's not for sale. We purchase those for display only." I said where are they then she said go in back they are somewhere in the back. Well they didn't have the shirt in that size anywhere in that store except the one. There was no sign saying not for sale and they had the price tags on them. That B.S. it is horrible customer service. How can you have items hanging in your store that are display only! Did not even offer to help find them or contact another store. Awful
I am writing concerning a purchase made in your store in the Citadel mall in Colorado Springs. My wife and I wanted to purchase a hundred dollar gift card for our granddaughter, but we didn't care for the cards you had to offer. the sales person showed us one that was just black with no pictures, and we agreed that would be fine. He scanned our debit card and then the gift card and it froze his computer. eventually we were left with no purchase and $100,00 drawn from our checking account. The Manager was very rude and said it could take weeks to get our money back (Kate Okeefe) was her name. We told her that was ridiculous that we bought nothing and leave here with you guys holding 100 dollars of our money. She got on the phone came back and assured us it would credit back to the account within a couple hours. It is still out of our account, we have no receipt of any transaction. All we have is our bank statement showing the transaction. this transaction took place on the 15th. I am getting ahold of my bank today to charge this as a fraudulent charge from your company, I will file a compliant with the mall and with the better business bureau. This was plane theft!!!
My daughter got called by Hollister in November to work black friday. She had work there the prior year and they stated they needed help. She went in from 3:00am to 10:30am. She has yet to be PAID! I call and get nowhere!! They hang up on you - even at the corporate level. Dont they know this is illegal to have someone work (who clocked in) and not pay them!!! They will soon!!!
I went there on for Christmas shopping and the sign sign on the rack 40% off so I grabbed about 4 pairs of shorts. Waited in line for a long time to find out they are not on sale. I took the guy back to the place where it plainly says these items are on sale and that is false advertisement, because it says no where on the sign that the shorts were excluded. So I asked to speak to a manager and he told me he was the manager, so I said who is above you and he said she was not there. I took a picture of the sign and got his and the managers name. So displeased!!!
My husband and I got jeans for our 13 year old daughter for christmas.They did not fit, she needed 1 size bigger.We went to exchange them on 1/6/13 we got another pair and a hoodie because we had a $10.00 off coupon expires 1/7/13. We got in line waited for about 15 minutes, which was understandable because they were busy. gave the guy the original bag with the jeans that needed to be exchanged and the reciept.We bought them on 12/22/12. He gives a girl a nodge she comes over takes the jeans around the corner and comes right back and said she's sorry she can't exchange them because they are not in the same condition as I purchased them in. I said how is that possible when all my daughter did was try them on. I told her isn't that the same thing If I tryed on a pair of jeans in the fitting room and they didn't fit so I would need 1 size bigger how is that any different my daughter didnt try them on until after christmas because they were a present.We just need same jeans only 1 size bigger. I don't want my money back just the jeans. I told her so your telling me I bought a pair off jeans that no one in my family could ever wear and she said yes.She gave me a business card and said that I can give them her name. I called corp. office spoke to someone who apologized and kept me on phone for 20 min while she took me complaint and said someone would get back to in 2 business days.Well no one did so I called back 1/9/13 spoke to another lady who did and said the exact same thing the 1st lady did and yes 2 business days again. Well no one did so i called again today spoke to another lady told her the whole story about talking to 2 other ladies and she sais she was sorry but thats not how they handle complaints that I have to email them about it she said she was sorry that the other ladies didn't mention it. So the first 2 times I called and waited didn't even matter. I told her I am now contacting the Better Business Bureau and she set all right. I AM CONTACTING THEM! I ALSO HAVE PUT IT ON FACEBOOK AND TOLD ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO THOSE PEOPLE WILL TELL OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT IT!!!
I purchased a sheer black top for my grandgaughter after Christmas on December 27,2012. I washed the top and did not put in the dryer. The top had a huge hole in the front. I called the Fairoaks store today only to hear. we do not have a return policy (What) (Really). Sorry guys, I do not steal I am a government contractor. Also sorry you make crap. And I guess it is my fault I don't have my granddaughter keep the tags on merchandise. I sorry I don't keep receipts on merchandise I don't think should tear up after 2 weeks. The slaes associate I talked to was soooo very not sympathic. Wow guess where I won't be shopping. And I told all the people who would listen at work. Seriously no return policy
Hollister...get your shit together. I mean really...at Christmas we bought a coat for my son and it was suppose to be on sale. When we got home my husband realized they charged us too much for the item. They said we had to drive all the way back to the exact location we bought it at to give us back the price difference. Then, on Monday I was out to eat with my parents and my son wanted to spend his giftcard at the same Polaris store location. When I got home I wanted to look at the receipt to see why the total seemed so high. Of course, the sales clerk charged me twice for the same sweatshirt. I called and wanted to go go to Easton Mall location because it was closer to my house. I didn't want to waste gas and a half hour drive again back to Polaris. They said I had to because I would screw up the inventory count if they would let me go to another store. Really????? They really don't care about their customers, do they??? The fact, that I have to drive all the way back again to get my money back. I will NEVER shop at this store again. They do not care about their customers. Also, I attempted to call the corporate headquarters here in New Albany, Ohio and could not get anyone to answer the phones to here my complaint.
So frustrated with Hollister. At Christmas time my son bought a coat from the Polaris Mall location and my husband realized once we got home that they didn't not give us the sale price, they charged us full price. We had a return at the time and that is why we didn't notice right away. They said we had to come all the way back to the exact store for the refund. So, on Monday I was in the area again eating with the parents and my son decided to spend his gift card. We were at the Polaris location again. Close to my parents, not me. This time we were charged double for a sweatshirt. Didn't realize it until I got all the way home. Called and asked to go the mall closer to my house to get the refund and was told no because that would mess up both stores inventory counts. Really????? What about the inconvenience of the customer?????? I don't want to have to drive an hour out of my way to get my refund for a mistake your cashier made!!!!! I'm tired of hearing "I'm sorry" but yet the only person the screw up hurts is the customer. When does Hollister get to be inconvenienced???? It is your fault and never once does anyone do anything to make things right with the customer. I will NEVER shop here again. Twice at this store and both times your employees have screwed up. That should tell this store something.
It is unbelievable to me the irresponsibility of this store! I have a 13 year old daughter who wanted to buy something in Hollister for the first time. We ventured into the store which is more like a night club. I couldn't believe the experience. It is so dark in there, we couldn't even see the sizes!! The people working there are rude, and not helpful. After reluctantly allowing my daughter to buy something, they put it in a bag with a half naked beach "dude" on the front, posing casually with his thumb pulling down the front of his shorts just enough.... TOTALLY INAPROPRIATE,...What exactly ARE they selling?... and to whom? ..... unbelievable!!
I am not the least bit surprised by all the negative comments. My daughter accepted a seasonal position over the Holidays this last year and I was horrified at some of the things she told me and how they treated her. Her first day there she overheard another coworker ask if she was the new girl and then said well I guess we need the help and will have to take what we can get. She is in college FT and made it clear when her work availabilty was but her mgrs continued to schedule her when she in class then wrote her up when she called to say she couldn't work those hours. Her mgrs told her it wasn't their problem and if she didn't make her shift that she would be written up for it. She witnessed a lot of rudeness to customers and childish behavior from the staff. I have taught my daughter to be respectful and give a 2 week notice if you plan to leave a job but when she told me she just quit without notice I wasn't upset at all as I feel they deserved it. If you are going to be rude and disrespectful expect it in return. It is a horrible place to shop, my husband won't even go into the store because the music is so loud and it is so dark. I am surprised they don't have more accidents from people tripping over things. As another person commented they are always on their cell phones, that is just plain old bad manners and poor work ethics. VERY poor customer service and in my opinion poor quality clothes. It is sad that this place stays in business.

My daughter works at Hollister and they have not given her hours to work for over two months. This is what they do so she can quit. The managers have their favorite employees so they give hours to them. There is also a lot of gossip going on in the store. Managers are rude along with some employees. Sad to see a store treat employees this way and let them get away with it.
Not to worry my son got a job there and never got any hours. My husband and I just looked at each other the other night and said "did he get the job or not"... what a gang of silly oafs... they can stick the job as from what I am reading out here he's way to smart to work there.
I currently work at Hollister in Shorthills MAll, NJ. My manager Jennifer has not scheduled me any hours for the past four weeks now. I guess that is her way of letting me go or wanting me to so-called quit on my own. And I am not the first person she has done this to . I've had her tell employees that that's her way of letting people go and showing employees a list of name of employess who are being fired or "ON PUNISHMENT". The manager and assistant managers are unperfessional and can't stand eachother and talk about each other to employees but in eachothers face play asthough they are friends. They don't know anything about running a business they can't even do certain math without having to bring out the calculator. One timme my manager gave a lady a pair of jeans worth $60.00 dollars for $9.00 dollars just because the lady said thats what the sign said in the back. It's ridiculoous how much mistakes has been made in that Hollister and how much stolen clothes have been taking. Not to mention we have a unisex fitting room. My manager has not informed me yet as to where I stand with this job. My manager Jennifer also talks about her employees to other employees and I've have been told shes talked badly about me aswell. And when I've confronted her about it shes would just state "Oh you were ignoring me" "why don't you like me". The management needs to be replaced at that Hollister as soon as possible. Corporate should know what really goes on in there stores across the country.
Went school shopping at Hollister in Roanoke VAOnly to be treated like you are nobody; purchased shirts off clearance that were supposed to be an additional 60 percent off of course didn't ring and no one knew how to fix it manager was on break first off its 915 your store closes at 10 awful late for a break. Eventually they figure it out; I then give them coupon they tell me coupon expired but of course there's no expiration date to be found on the coupon and finally manager comes back by the name amber rude loud and did t give a crap she was being so loud she had other customers stopping to watch her; boy what a piece of work she was; the lighting and music are horrible you can't see the price nor what you are really buying I will spend my money elsewhere
I took my 13 year daughert into Hollister for the first time yesterday -Tyler, Texas. I was surprised at just how LOUD the music was - Really?! If the employees have to yell at each other to communicate, it is TOO LOUD! Second,the store is SO dark. Shelves and racks of clothes hidden in dark corners behind plants that you have to climb over or through - Rediculous! Third, no one offered to help us. No one would make eye contact with us. All we needed was a key to the dressing room. I had to force a young man to look at me so that I could ask where the dressing room was - he pointed and said "Back Right of store." The store was not crowded at all, there were at least 4 employees working the store. When we made it to the back (by the registers). There were three employees - one checking out 1 customer and the other two, just standing there. Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that one of the young me then decided to spray the clothes and store with fragrance (does it not smell enough in the store already?!) - that was more important than bothering to notice we exist. He walked around us and the young girl just stood, never looking our way. All we needed was a dressing room - I believe that they must pay their employees to do NOTHING. We just stood there and stood there, waiting on someone to look at us. At that point, for me, it became a game of just how long do I have to stand here before I am noticed. But, my daughter finally was fed up and asked to leave. I found one of the employees (had not seen her before, so now there were 5 working the store. I am pretty sure the number of employess out numbered the number of customers!) and explained to her we were leaving because not one person standing around the register offered to help. This store had no idea how much money we were going to spend. It might have been $50 - it might have been 10X. It's too bad the employees working there had nothing to do other than worry about anything other than how short their shorts were or how tight their shirts fit and how the store smelled. I am calling the manager of the store today - can't wait to hear the response! Wonder if I will be treated the same as all other comments on this page? As for us, we WILL NOT go back to Hollister. And, I will let everyone I know how bad the service is.
I am having the same issues! I have been dealing with them for over a week. I emailed corporate office jumped through their many hoops just to receive an email being advised to call this number, I call the number it advises me to email! Seriously? Your sales clerk failed to remove a threft tag, again rude as heck might I add and I live 3 hours away! I called they said they can't remove the tag, there is no way to prove I purchased the shirt, excuse me I have my receipt! I am being treated as if I stole the 32 dollar shit, excuse why would I steal a 32 dollar shirt when I spent several hundred dollars in the store that same day! So frustrated!!!!
my daughter has never been paid at Hollister Florence Italy I heve complained by hteir office in Milano ut they can not resolve the problem so I hope that contacting the main office they can do something I need an email to hollister headquarter as i can not phone them from Italy it's to expensive :(
I know many people who work at Hollister. It is not run very well and its surprising how they stay in business. Poor managers, poor employee training, music much too loud in stores, not to mention poor if not illegal treatment of minor employees, sometimes with no breaks when they should have, and crazy scheduling practices. Hollister must have a huge turn over rate with employees because no one is happy to work there.

I would like to know how as a company you think that it is ok to not have your stores handicap accessible. There are steps leading into every store and no ramp options! I am in a wheelchair when I asked the staff from the side window I was told sorry our side entrances have displays in them !
Disappointed to say the least! My son received news that he landed a job at Hollister 3 weeks ago. He went for his orientation and has now waited 2 weeks for his schedule. He called during the week and the girl who answered said she would call him this week with his schedule. Well here we are at the weekend and still no call, so I called them today only to find out he was not put on a schedule. I was told he needs to call to get his 1st working day set up... Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing? He made the decision that Hollister was not for him. He was told he had to have Van's shoes for the job which we bought! He was also told he had to buy new Hollister clothes for work. Just as well I did not go that far...
Hollister customer service is rude and unhelpful. I purchased several items online on 11/26/13 and never received them. Called hollister 3 times and got the run around. As of today I still do not have my items and no credit to my credit card. All they keep saying is someone will call me in 3-5 business days. I know the package was returned so they should credit my card. I will never purchase anything from them again. My grandchildren or children will not be shppping at hollister ever again. Hollister you need to take care of your customers because they are the only reason your in business.
I shopped at the store on December 22 2013 at Ingram Park it was very busy only 2 registers going long ass lines and hot as can be in the store I felt sorry for employees and customers how did they ever think the were gonna sell all the jackets ,scarfs, sweaters ,and beanies get for real they had a couple of fans up on top of the shelves I asked a couple of employees why they weren't on they said they had tried to plug them but they didn't come on hello look at a breaker call corp . something and about the rudeness yes this is taking place and its so dark in there you can even see the prices I don't have a problem with the music it makes the time go by but turn it down some im 38 and like the casual kick back comfortable styles for myself but I always buy for my son or family members its a kids atmosphere and its cool but be kind to the older generation we are the ones spending a lot of money there and fix the air !!!!!!! even with a non recovered store I would have bought more if it wasn't so hot ,I would have taken my time to look .
On December 5th 2013 I ordered my son 2 shirts and was sent girls jeans. I called 12/23/2013 and the shirts were reordered and to be sent by 12/25/2013. I got the shirts only to find out that they billed me again!!! What a nightmare and run around, the phone people I think are just there to pacify you and don’t really do anything!!!! As of today 1/8/2014 they still continue to say the 2nd charge is only a bank hold and that I need to contact my bank. Well I did and after 16 days it is no longer a bank hold. I have sent them documents from my bank listing the two transactions and yet they still insist it a bank HOLD!!! It is not and I want my money back but yet no refund. They are quick to take your money but sloooooow at refunding it when you are entitled to it. I will NEVER buy anything from this company and have instructed everyone I know the same and about my nightmare sorry.

This place is a joke and ran by CHILDREN. You can't even get a hold of Corporate if you wanted to they don't call you back or even acknowledge your complaint. I won't be shopping here anymore because of this!! The upper management hides from customers rather than contact the customer they will lose alot of business and never get what;s going wrong in their stores!
I so feel your pain - it took us 25 minutes to check out with only one person in front of us. These kids working there are just that. Kids, no respect whatsoever. No drive, no training, no class at all. After spending $300+ i left there in such a rage and thought, i will contact corporate to complain about it. after reading all these comments, i don't know that i want to waste my time.
