    1. Start by learning the language and how to spell and they may be able to understand your problem...

    2. it don't matter if you can spell or not when you spend 37,000 for a car you should not have to get the run around fix the car or give you a other car!!!!!

  2. Well here's plain English for ya, ya do-gooder.
    I'm embarrassed to say I bought a 30,000-plus
dollar 2007 GMC P/U from GM....why, well I've had to take this piece of junk to GM service dealers 12 times.
Their product is poorly engineered, poorly constructed, poorly managed and assembled with inferior materials. Notice I didn't mention quality control (?)....because there is none.
I do have to thank GM for helping me decide what not to buy when I trade this piece of junk in next week....it certainly will not be a GM product. Matter of fact they helped decide that my next vehicle will be a Toyota.
I really have a lengthy detailed story to tell about my disgusting experience with GM....facts, figures, dates, names....on and on.
I'll be sharing my story with Consumer Reports and I know our local regional newspaper loves these kinds of reading as well.
Sure am glad I didn't have to rely on anything built by GM while serving in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam war.

  3. Gary and others, I feel for you. I have had nothing but problems with my GMC Envoy. I do not even have 100,000 miles and already it needs a new engine. That isn't the only issue I have had since purchasing it. I never understood the word "Lemon" until now. I too am looking at a Toyota for my next purchase.

  4. 10:56am. "Summary: 2007 GMC ACADIA (Service Request #71-1143008431)
THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF 2ND GEAR GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND THERE ARE NOW FOUR CODES ALL FOR INTERNAL TRANSMISSION ISSUES. THE CAR IS 4 MONTHS PAST THE 5 YEAR WARRANTY, BUT ONLY 64000 MILES. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. IF THIS TRANSMISSION FAILS WHILE ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY, AND IT WILL NOT GO... OVER 20 MPH, THE RESULTS COULD BE DEADLY. BY RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE I HAVE FOUND A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT 2007 GMC ACADIAS BETWEEN 50000 AND 80000 MILES HAVING TRANSMISSION FAILURES, BUT YET NO RECALLS. THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT GMC IS WELL AWARE OF, THROUGH THEIR OWN ADMISSIONS. WHY IS THERE SUCH A DELAY WAITING FOR A RECALL? ARE ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR A FATALITY BEFORE GMC ADMITS THERE NEEDS TO BE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS? (Update:) I was told I had to take the vehicle to a GMC service center for a diagnosis in order for GMC to help me. I was then charged over a hundered dollars for the diagnosis, and the estimate is for $1450 from the GMC service center for electical issues with the transmission. Yet GMC refuses to assist in getting the vehicle repaired. I was told their final decision was "GMC will not assist in the repair of the vehicle".

  5. I paid#1,167dollars to a Cadillac dealear in Pineville N.C to fix my car that was shaking an had the engine light on, after many issues an guessing from them they said the car is ready fix so I picked up my car and paid that amount, after 5min I left the dealer my light was back one and the shaking as well, I call right away and they suggest me to bring it back on on Monday because it was Saturday, well after I dropped they call me and said it was going to be$ 400 dollars more to fix what was suppose fix and I said Noo!! Because I don't know if after I had paid they will keep guessing and charging me more and more. I'm very unsatisfied the way they charge and treat me the guy I spoke was insulting, rude and racist his name was Jeff the service manager and said that the things are the way he wanted to be and I can do wherever I want nobody is going to do nothing for me and every time I ask them to fix for what I paid for I have to paid again!!! I think all they did was unplug the battery and plugged back on when i paid the money they charge me to (fix it) because my car is in the same way I first dropped in the dealer;(

  9. I had work don't at a local GMC shop in Yakima and the job was not done and I was charge for it a total of $ 300.00 for it, this brake job was not done on the rear axle and only one side was done, I was told that the employee that did the work was not employed there any more and they had problems with him for doing bad jobs on customers trucks and cars, I took my truck in and they said that they would fix the brake but as I went to pickup my truck in the shop and the mechanic had my hood up and the front wheels off but the problem was on the rear axle not the front, so I was not sure what they were doing but I decided I could not trust them at Lee Peterson motors in Yakima so I went to a another mechanic to get the work done. I think I should get my money back from GMC or Lee Peterson Motors

  11. My son bought a GMC truck and it has been back in the shop four different times. While driving down the highway it will just shut off for no reason. He has had to have it towed twice now. He has taken it back to the dealer each time this has happened. I am very worried that one time this will cause a very serious accident. My son will no longer allow any of his family to drive this truck for fear that one of them may be killed when this happens. The last he took this truck they said it was the fuel pump but even my son it not comfortable driving it anymore. I fear for my families lives while driving this piece of junk truck. If one my family is killed or severely injured what do I do. Will GMC replace them for me? How does a company continue to put peoples lives at risk. I as that GMC at least take this truck back and destroy it before it kills someone because of this malfunction that causes it to just shut down going down the highway at 65 miles an hour. Would you let your family member drive a vehicle that does this? My son is tired of fighting with your employees that do not give a damn about the safety of him and his family. As a mother I am begging you to please do something about this issue before I loose any one of my family because of your stupidity and the stupidity of your employees. Please do not let my family get hurt........ I beg you..

  12. I wrote a complaint on this page last night and it is right above this one. I wonder how you would respond to my complaint when it does not ask for any of my information. so you really don't care about these complaints otherwise you would ask for information from the people that write these. So I will call your office and see if any of your employees really give a damn about these complaints. My name is Barbara and my son is James and I love him very much as I am sure you also love your children and would not want them hurt by a faulty vehicle that your company has made. Do you drive the vehicles that you sell????

  13. LOVE MY (OLD) 2003 CHEV IMPALA, BUT!!!!!!

Hello, all!!! Bought a used 2003 Chev Impala from my dad way back in 09 yep we keep em in the family. Anyway a week to the day of my new to me purchase, boom I'm at the local grocery store you know the one where everyone knows your name. Well long, long story short Billy Bob, and John Henry came over to help clanking a searching with flashlights, they diagnosed a bad alternator, well well, sure enough my alternator was tested and perfect. So a couple of days later here we go again almost 100 degrees out side and I'm stuck at the freaking post office. Every week for almost two months I was stuck somewhere looking like a stalker in my car while old hunks of junk were cranking up all around me, and pulling away while I sat and waited for that magical 10+ mins to fire up ol Betsy, and pull away. Yeah this is the short version. I took it to a certified GMC dealership and had it repaired two different times in one year. At least the cut me a small deal that second trip in. So here I am almost five years owning good Ol' Betsy, she did really good for a while but about a month ago she didn't want to start, and yesterday she left me stranded at my daughter's school, and my grade school age son sitting wondering where I was to pick him up. Thank God my parents live across from my daughter's school so she drove me out there to get him a 20 min drive there and back. Ol' Betsy she didn't want to start, but she did, and this morning I jumped in to head out to work you know that place where the expect me to be on time, and she just couldn't do it, so I had to call mom again and she drove me to work. Here I sit with no car Betsy parked in the garage at my house just hanging out. Guess I'll walk to get some lunch today. There is my short version. Love my car when she will start.

  14. I say we file a joint complaint to gmc. If we stick together the big company will have to do something. We are not asking for a new car we just want our cars to start when we turn the key!

  15. Purchased a 2014 GMC Yukon from Apple Sport Chevrolet in Marlin. Got it at closing so no time to get it detailed and gassed up. Told to bring back next day for those things to be done. Took it back and waited for about an hour. Got the keys, went to car and it was even washed let alone detailed! As far as the gas goes....maybe $10-$15 was put in it. Had to put $60 in on the way home and that filled it up. Sales lady told us they no longer gas up vehicles. So I guess what little was put in there was a favor...Gee thanks!!!!!! Very unhappy and disappointed customers!! Have never been treated this way by Chevrolet and we've always been Chevy owners.

  16. I am tired of dishonest Dealerships getting away with fraud and GM telling me, They can't do anything about employees of Dealerships. The dealership tried to pull a bait and switch on me which only got me madder than HE*L. (I said He*l no) I am still complaining to GM, but not really expecting them to do anything. I did buy a truck from another dealership that stuck to a price that was given over the phone. So I guess GM still won, but not the other dealership.

I do like an idea about putting a sign in my truck and driving around the dealership. I might try that and see what happens.

  17. Don't know if any one else has had this problem. I leased a 2013 CTS Cadillac from Van Chevy in Kansas City, MO. The reason I leased I was told I would not have to pay any taxes or personal property taxes. Guess what got a bill from Ally Financial where they are telling me to send them $920.00 to pay for personal property on the Caddy. I am still in shock sales people will lie just to get you to buy. Learned a lesson never believe car salesman read the fine print, but I know at least 5 times that the financial guy was talking my daughter and I both said that I would not have to pay any taxes or nothing since I am leasing the car and he said NO. I have 19 months left on the lease. I will never buy from Van Chevy again.
