  1. We are regular customers at the Denny's on HWY 49, Byron Georgia. Today, I was informed that my favorite server has been hospitalized with a ruptured ulcer which required emergency surgery. She has been at this store ever since it opened. She is a GREAT server, and when we asked if there could be a "donations jar" put up front for her, we were told Corporate Wouldn't Allow it! What? This lady deserves special consideration. She is one of the most hard-working, customer oriented individuals I have ever known. She is sole support for her family. Come on guys, reach out and do something good for this special, valuable employee....we will tell the world if you do!!!

  2. I am writing a very unfavorable review of the Denny's located at 3470 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90016. They have three issues:
    1. Poorly trained Managers-
    2. Poorly trained Hostesses
    3. Snippy Servers
    A Regional Manager or Director must fix this issue. This is a good location and I'm sure makes alot of money. But the service is horrible. If this continues Denny's will have a nightmare on its hands. PLease corporate office have someone fix this issue immediately !!!

  3. I received very poor service from Denny's located in the 12000 block of Westheimer Rd in Houston, Texas. Poor service. At the end of it all, the manager showed no remorse and still messed things up, by overcharging me by what she called a discount! I paid more than what the initial order was!. I will never visit this location ever again. I was new to the area and I love Denny's. But it is a shame to know that I can't even go to my favorite restaurant that is less than 200 ft from my house. Totally disgusted!

  4. There is Shady Management going on from the Denny's located 3400 NewBerry Road North Platte Nebraska And it is a SERIOUS MATTER that must be looked into and RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY! I have been spoken to about re hirings and how it should not be so. and how a previous management person was re hired after a walk out also other re hiring and supposedly one management person was working at Ogalla Nebraska store and was fired for stealing money?! And this store will be better once this is looked into and resolved and i look forward to its recovery and better Management and training for New Employees Most of all for the customers this store needs help and its being unnoticed I know more then maybe i should or maybe its good i do cause i want what is best for this store. I am an employee and i will be calling Corp please help me fix this problem cause this is not right!!!

  5. I find it a problem that your stores run out of products. This is the second time i visted a dennys and heard sir i am sorry we dont have all the ingredients for your order. Tonight i visted store 8631 and ordered the santa fa skillet and smth chs ff. To my surprise no sausage for the skillet. So i asked what they did have and Michelle k. My server went to name off what they didnt have nachos where a no go no fish no chrizo i then told her i need a to go box dor my smrh chs ff and left. This is bas business on somebodys part i left hungry unhappy got in my semi truck.

  6. I have been a Dennys Customer for over 50 years. I also worked for Denny's for 15 years. I still enjoy Dennys; and eat there with my husband at least 2 time per week. However, on Friday 9-7-12, I had one of the worst experiences at Dennys' in Downey, CA. It is under repair, however, we were seated and waited for over 15 minutes and not one soul acknowledged us, gave us contact and worse, they served a family that arrived 2 customers behind us. We decided to leave, one waitress caught us on the way out and asked why we were leaving, I told her why, she walked over to the manager, who was at the register. He apologized and offered to service and give us free drinks, too late, where was someone caring abut us? We were there because Portos down the street did not have close by parking for us. We are Seniors. We left Downey and stopped at Denny's in Norwalk, Imperial and Pioneer. We walked in, were were immediatly seated, our server saw us and immediately gave us "eye contact", and said she would be with us in a few minutes. Her name is Angelica. Well I am writing to prove to you that we like Dennys, the food, the prices, the variety. However, you need to improve on service. Norwalk, Angelice, made us for what Downey did not do. Focus on customer service. I worked for Dennys, at the Corporate Office in La Mirada, and will never stop thanking God for the learning and working experience. I am a loyal customer. It was so different when Dennys was in La Mirada. We go to the Denny's in La Habra, Imperial and Beach. Good food, not so good servers and timeliness. The cooks always appear to be haveing fun and conversations, so do the servers, not all of them. At least now you have, what appears to be a somewhat better manager. I am saddened that Dennys has gone this way. The Menus are awesome, compared to the ones in the 70',80'. However, Menus are not the answer to customer growth and retention. It is the Server, the quality and the consistency. The cooks unfortunaley, make it hard on the servers, especially if they are not in a good mood. I know, I have lots of stories. Well, I just wanted to tell you about Downey, La Habra versus Norwalk. Angelica, saved us as Denny's customers, Hope you appreciate tht we do want to continue eating there. Just because it brings many memories. I see traffic patterns changing, and as I sit while waiting for our food, I can understand why some may not want to come back..

    I was fortunate to be part of Denny's growtth. My nephew worked at the Lakewood location. I will never forget or stop being grateful for my opportunity at Dennys' in La Mirada, We had a wonderful organization. We still have a quartely gatthering of former employees.

    1. I use to be a Denny's customer until Friday September 13, 2013. Me and a preacher friend had gotten out of church and were trying to figure out where to eat. We decided on Danny's in Wichita, KS located at 4042 E. Harry St. Well my friend got there before I did. At least 15 minutes before I did. When i arrived it was 9:55p.m. During this time we notice everybody getting served and asked how can they be helped. Not us. My friend said it reminded him of what happened to him 30 years ago. I plan to take this to the media. We sat over 30 minutes and not once were we acknowledged. I talk to a manager the next day but for me the damage is done. I refuse to go back to treatment like this

  7. My son and I went to the Dennys at 9312 Rosecrans Blvd, Bellflower, CA 90706
    The managers there today were Liton Ahmed and Mohammad Haque. My son and I both ordered hamburgers. Half way through eating my burger I bit into something hard, I pulled it out my mouth and discovered it was a WOODCHIP!
    The manager Liton said my meal would be free and asked if I wanted another burger? Seriously? Hell No! I dont want any more food from here! I am or WAS a long term customer! Not anymore! this is disgusting and totally unacceptable! He offered my son a free milkshake! The refused to cover my entire meal a remaining $15! I told them a REAL restaurant would cover the entire bill to keep their customer happy! they refused! I told them both I would file a complaint with the health department (Done), Yelp (Done) and the BBB ! As I walked out the restaurant I told all the customers waiting to eat about the woodchip I found and how they refused to cover my entire Bill!

    I'm perpelexed by the amount of complaints on this website and another I just visited. I would think that the Corporation would be trying to rectify these matters expediently. I was looking for a Denny's contact to complain about the experience I just had at the one in Deming, New Mexico. Maybe it is something that needs to be handled at a more local level?
    I also waited for a rediculous long time. But even more upsetting is the quality of meat being used in the Patty Melt. I normally LOVE that particular food item at Denny's but this time I felt like I was chewing on little bits of this cardboard texture in the meat with every bite. I assume I'm not even on a legitimate Corporate website, but if I am and anyone is interested in my thoughts, my e-mail address is grantshort@hotmail.com

Me and my husband went to dennys on moblie hwy in pensacola fl on 10/5/2012 and watch as the host gave her friend every customer that came in the store to be seated where they where working.And when she notice that I and my husband was talking about what she was doing she ask one of her friends did they think she should give the black girl any customer the lady name kathy said no send them over here and if the customer would have never just walk in and took and seat that girl would have never made a dime that day i gave her ten dollars and in hope that it will help her the host is supposed to make sure that ever waitress have get there fair share of customer not look out for there friends i will never go there again

The shawnee ok dennys restraunt don't eat there there's very unhealthy mold growing and the managers treat their waitresses like dogs they've had 12 health code violations within the past month and it needs to be remodeled if you value your health don't eat there or if you think poor waitresses making 3.28 an hr should be shown respect and treated nicely share my view and complain to get everything fixed signed mad concerned citizen

  12. My son and i went to the Champaign, il dennys on 1/1/2013. I was sat at a table, about 5 minutes later the woman that sat me came and asked what we would like to drink, she brought the drinks and said that a waitress, who she named but I didnt understand, would be with us soon. About 15 to 20 minutes later, still no waitress had come to the table. Plenty of employee walked by and looked at us..me still with a menu in front of me. I finally got the attention of someonr and told her that no one had been to my table yet, she said sorry and walked away. So about 5 or so minutes later, still no waitress, I got up and left. Walked out the door with not one employee paying attention to me. I may as well be invisable. This was RIDICULOUS!!! Every other table around me was being served...it just didnt make sense. You seriously need to take a look at your employees, worthless employees.

Dennys in soledad ca I have been customer there over a year since it opened it has had its ups and downs i am a supper person so usually after 7pm me and my girl go.recently there is a new manager and the regular night time waiter and waitress have been changed or gone by the time i go in,the other night we heard the manager sending our usual waiter home for the night we even showed up early to be served by him we asked what time he came in and it was maybe 2I hours since he arrived his replacement was a way less experienced waitress.mistakes were made on our order but we kept it quiet.management needs to keep there quality servers on and have them train the newer employees!

  16. Im currently working at a Dennys in north las Vegas... 4280 west Craig road Ste 108 the heater has been broke for several months. I work grave yard and it s around 42 degrees every night... some nights I have no sells because everyone keeps leaving because of the cold. Its freezing new years I lost massive amounts of tables dozens of tables were walking out in a row and often I'm forced to give people free meals... our sales have massively declined and I no longer see regular customers. Some times people order and leave before their food arrives because its so cold. The amount of sells we have lost because of the cold could of fixed the heater 3 times on average I'm losing about 7 tables a day. And people call asking if the heaters fixed. Please help we are losing lots of customer. We lost sales of about a thousand dollars a day. If its not fixed soon I simply have to quit. I don't want to but its unstable work enviorment

  17. I just visited dennys in sioux falls SD. on east 10th street... never in my life have i and my friend been treated soo badly... the place was a mess!! Old food under the booth and a DIRTY FORK UNDER THE TABLE!! The waitress had an attitude the min. We walkd in.. we asked for water and coffee... she brought out a child's glass and a large glass... she then slammed the small glass in frunt of me and rolld her eyes... my friend asked her to please get the old food and dirty fork from under our feet... shen then kicked the fork under the table and told us we could just f**** leave!!! Unreal!!!!! I run a bar and would NEVEF LET MY STAFF ACT LIKE THAT!!! i will file a formal complaint!! I hope these places take this as serious as i am!! The newspaper and health dep. NEED TO BE INVOLVED!! I AM THE ONE TO DO IT

  18. I am writing because I am very upset. I visit the Denny's on 1720 west Thompson rd. Indianapolis, IN. I used to be a general manager and know that you are limited to a certain amount of money you can spend on food from your district manager. This store used to be great before this new district manager took over. I got to see her yesterday and it looks like she is not missing any meals yet I am because she is not allowing this store enough money to buy food. I am not sure who put this woman in charge but they made a great mistake. The servers and managers work very hard to make up for the food that can't be bought but it is still upsetting. I love the atmosphere at this store and the people working here. However after seeing the new district manager I am troubled. She was not pleasant at all and not people friendly at all. I said hi to her and she just looked at me and walked away. If I see her in here again I will not be coming in to eat until she leaves. I will also be telling my friends the same thing. she has no business in this position and should be fired. I love seeing the people in there that I know. They all make me feel wanted. She should learn to be more like the managers that work there and the servers before they take her job from her. They know how to handle customers and make sure they have what they need and want. Dennys needs to have someone in her position that knows now to run a store. make sure this store has money to buy food and it will gain more business. the people and service are great in here but the district manager is going to run it in the ground if she is not let go. I know how a business is ran more than she does!

This place is anti American and anti freedom of speach, the waitresses (who is mexican born turned muslim) will eavesdrop on conversations, while simultaneously trying to assault you with chairs. Managers do nothing while sticking up for the waitresses. I was accosted by 2 non employees, one being the husband of the Muslim waitress who told me there would be "reprecuations" for voiceing my opinion as I was trying to leave to avoid confrontation. This was the second time we came in before we could even sit down (I guess they had personal vendetta against me and my buddy they remebered our faces) the woman manager told us we were NOT allowed to have an opinion or freedom to speak in "her" restraunt! After this i was not going to give dennys my money. they were trying to start shit with us over having an opinion while oppressing my freedom of speech which was not directed at anyone in particular. I'm Texas born and ex military I I fought for freedom of speech and places like Denny's that smother it don't deserve our money! Apparently they scan every customer for opinions before serving them. This place is full of nonsense. I am in process of contacting various media outlets sad what America has come too. Any other waitress would have been fired on the spot for that kind of behavior but because of her religious beliefs she was spared, total b.s. sad day America!!!!

  20. The Denny's in Farmington New Mexico is not the place you want your family to go. There is a waitress in there by the name of Tammy Garlington that stalks and harrasses the customers when they go there. My husband is in there on business and Tammy has made up a fake email using sunny her co workers name to send email and harrass my husband! this is not a place ladies that you want your husbands and sons to go in togther with out you. Tammy knows who I am and kknows my husband is married and she still sits and watches him. I think that this company does not need to be in business. the managers there stands by her side while she is stalking and harrassing the people. She is a known alcohol abuser and you sont really want her serving your food. She has admitted to having HERPES. another thing that you dont want her touching your food for. I thought dennys was a diner where you got food not a place you go to pick up herpes infested staking whores at!

Location inside Royal Palms casino in Laughlin, Nv should be shut Down. what a waste of good space. I'm a retired Hotel/rest manager and this place bites..Franchise owners, dist mgr should shop this location..fix or close it.

  22. Sitting at dennys on shackelford rd in lr ar have been here 15 mins no drinks there are 2 servers sitting down eating & 1 girl left to wait on tables. There are 3 kids & myself. Party of 8 came in which wld now b10 mins after us & they have been given drinks my family is white & the other party is black all three ervers are black I have been in the restuarant business for 35 yrs & I have to say this experience is the worst I've ever had now the same girl that took my drink order returned to my table again & asked for our drink order again I try to be patient but this is absolutly ridiculous now 30 mins later with no drink or food I typed this to you you would think after one on university closed your co would work harder to improve service food & servers.I will tell my friends about my experience to make sure they don't waste their time

  23. Went to denny's thus morning in west haven,ct had the worst experience the waiter brought us 2 out of 4 drinks and took 10 minutes to bring the rest of them. Then he forgot to bring an order of toast with one of the meals and took over 15 minute to bring a small cup of bbq sauce. One of the male employees not sure if he was manager or not had his shirt half unbuttoned and was serving food that way. Our server not the one with his shirt unbuttoned wasn't very intune with making sure we had everything that we need and also didn't ask if we wanted drink refills. Will not be going back to that location again.

  25. The Denny's in Cottonwood Az being run by Christi Cantwell is being run into the ground. They have such a high turn rate for employees because she mistreats her employees. Constantly berating fellow co workers IN FRONT of customers. I have heard several complaints from various employees and something must be done to save the reputation of you corporate name. Staff not being trained right, capable employees denied opportunities to provide maximum efficiency to the store due to personal vendettas. Customers constantly complaining due to lack of management proficiency. They are loosing customers daily due to her management skills....

  26. Denny's in Janesvlle WI has to be one of the worst!! Our order was taken by a sniffling person which I first thought was a cold, BUT--we waited for our soup until I FINALLY asked--we ate a few spoonfulls & she came with the entrees. All this time WE WERE ENTERTAINED with an argument in the back with SWEARING and seemed to center on who was doing the most work. There were four tables of customers and 4 wait staff (maybe more??}The argument continued behind the counter where we were seated. I am not sure whether the waitress had a bd cold or it was the commotion--she SHOULD NOT have been waiting on customers. I WILL NEVER NEVER go to Denny's again. THIS KIND OF LANGUAGE BETWEEN WORKERS IN A PUBLIC PLACE IS TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR!! We have been to this Denny's before and it will never change it only gets worse!! There is absolutely no management and the workers have no courtesy & act as if they have had no training and don't care about the customer.

  27. My husband and I were passing through Buckeye, Arizona and decided to stop for lunch at Dennys. I ordered the club sandwich and my husband ordered the chicken burger with fries. I opened up my soggy sandwich to add salt and pepper. I was stunned, there were two pieces of ice cold congealed, almost frozen pieces of bacon, two cold greenish looking pieces of ham??? two paper thin pieces of tomato and a couple of shreds of lettuce, nestled between two very soggy pieces of bread. I called over the waitress and held out a piece of bacon to her and told her to hold it, she did and let out a small scream. It was absolutely disgusting. The Manager came over and apologized and offered to make me one himself. NO THANK YOU. In the meantime my husband and I tried one of my husbands' french fries, they were cold and cooked from a stale state. Not only is the food disgusting, I am seriously worried about people getting sick. I walked out. In the meantime my husband was charged for his meal. I would like a full refund. After this experience, we will only eat at the Dennys' that we know to be good.

  28. The dennys in hanover,md. Is the worst place ive ever been in. The ceiling leaks in dining room n in the dish room all over clean dishes. Food orders to go are always wrong, servers do nothing but complain and the managers dont know how to run it. They suspend workers for certain things but not to others who who do the same thing. They play favortism. When they change they scedule they dont let the workers know who have been off

Iv been going to Dennys store #6041 since it opened many years ago, iv never been soo disappointed in the service, the food , just whole experience the last 3 times, and tonight was the last straw. Young kids as the wait staff, cussing, being rowdy instead of working, we were quick to be seated only to wait too long to be approached by a server, the food came quickly but was terrible and even the milkshake was terrible, our server visited our table once during the stay.. then we sat aprox 15-20 mins for our check so we could leave this circus they seemed to be managed by someone who was obviously on something. . Dancing and singing instead of managing the rowdy staff.. hmm.. think we may start going to Bob Evans for our future dining experiences.

  30. First I want to say I love Dennys but after my experience at the Johnstown Dennys I will never be back there. On 2-20 A friend and I went to dennys after shopping. The service and food were GREAT it was the loud converstion in back that caught our attention. We heard a male server (didnt see his name) reference to the kitchen as a "slave ship" which caught us both off guard. The worst part was we seen the manager walking out of the back laughing as if it were funny and walk into a back room. Ive never been someplace where a manager had such flagrant disrespect not only for the customer but for his staff. After that disgusting experience I will never be back to that dennys.

  31. COMPLAINT REGARDING Denny's @ 2555 El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA. First of all this is AMERICA, have respect for your Country. The Flag outside of the Venue was hung UPSIDE DOWN! We told the Mgmt. twice about this outrage, until they finally decided to fix it and with an attitude I may add. The HOSTESS Was Rude, SERVICE WAS HORRID!!! FOOD WAS TERRIBLE and cooked wrong!!! WAIT TIME for food was over 30 Minutes! Venue WAS DIRTY!!! Good thing the Health Dept.was not there on cleanliness alone!!! Corporate Office, you need to check into this!!!

Walk in to either a drunk or homeless man sleeping in the booth.The manager on duty candy tried to ignore it like its nothing. I took a pic with my phone because this is management I want running my store. Needless to say I won't be eating there. I want a email address so I can show this to corporate. 614_378/1262
