  1. I went to the Del taco on garden grove blvd in garden grove and found a bug in my taco salad I have a picture of it too. I left plenty of,messages with corporate but no one has gotten back to me.

    1. Today I was at a Del Taco in Mission Viejo California sitting eating my food when a wet dog jumped up on me. No leash running around. I took a picture next to the owner and she didnt even know I did it as she was doing paperwork. I showed the manager and he shrugged it off. As a result it was his wife with his dog. I called Del Taco but no response.

I was looking for the headquarters e-mail address to complain about a situation that I had at the one on Silverado Ranch and Las Vegas Blvd. and addressed on the Del Taco website, with no response, when I came across this site. So glad to see I am not the only one with issues. I called one morning to find out how much an item was and after a few minutes the girl, who answered the phone, gave me the price. She said she did not even know that they had this item on the menu. My husband used the drive through and he bought 2 of the items I had called about, and a few other items. He questioned the price and was told that was what it was. I called to speak to the manager and Mireya said there was nothing she would do about being misquoted. She said she was the district manager, even though she showed up as a cashier on the receipt. She offered me a 99 cent burrito as a peace maker. I asked for the corporate phone and said I would complain and she said to go ahead. I wrote up 2 complaints online and called twice and that was at the beginning of October and I still have not heard back from anyone. No wonder the so called district manager was not worried. It was not a major deal about the incorrect price given to me as much as the "manager's" attitude and the fact that I should have been contacted within 48 hour. Horrible, horrible customer service!!!!!

    6. The Del Taco on 95th and camelback in Glendale Arizona is a RIPE OFF. Their so called Spicy CHICKEN BURRITO NEVER has CHICKEN. When I ask them to please put Chicken in it since it's suppose to be a CHICKEN Burrito they tell me it will cost $.99 cents more.

    7. I like the Fish Tacos, but they are so sloppy to eat. I got an idea and asked if they could put the Fish Taco Indigence in a Burrito form. For an extra charge they would . I said fine, stressed I put ONLY the ingredience of the Fish Taco in it. You guessed it, they put a bunch of spicy rice in it too. I threw it away as it didn't taste the same as the Fish Taco. I would have made them do it over, but I had gone through the Drive Through. When I got home and discovered what they did, I tried to call them and no one ever picked up, there was a 3 minute recording about the "wonderful trip" I won!! Then I was disconnected. NO way to run a business.

  2. Around 8:30 pm I pulled in at Del Taco drive thru in Salt Lake City, Utah yesterday 2/12/12, I placed my order and proceeded to pull to the window where I paid. As far as customers there was only 1 car behind me in the drive thru and a couple of people inside already eating. After I paid for my order the cashier asked me to pull around to the front of the building and they will bring my order out to me. I did as he asked. It took them 15 minutes to bring my order out to me, in the mean time the car which was behind me in the drive thru had also been asked to do the same and he came and parked next to my car he must have waited longer than 15 minutes because when I got my order he was still there. I got called the store and asked to speak with a manager the girl who answered the phone said there was non manager available she was in charge so I asked to speak to an assistant manager I just wanted to speak with some one higher than a lead person not only that but I could barely communicate with her as her English was almost non existent again I asked to speak with some one higher she asked to put me on hold which I agreed to. A couple of minutes later a guy comes on the phone and identifies himself as the manager so I asked him if he was the store manager he said no he was just in charge and that the store manager does not work on Sundays or Mondays I would have to call back I told him there has to be an assistant on duty or some one higher he asked to put me on hold again which I agreed. After several minutes of being on hold a different girl comes on the phone and proceeds to tell me the assistant manager was getting ready to leave and didn't have time to take the phone call.
    2/13/12 I contacted Del Taco Corporate office at the # given on this site a young guy answered the phone kept rushing me would not allow me to finish telling him all that happened, I asked to speak with some one else that maybe wasn't so busy and he said he was the only one there finally I just hung up and never stepping another foot at any Del Taco again. I can't see spending 25 dollars on a food order just to be treated like this.

    My name is Thomas (TJ) Hewitt, employee at the Ogden, Utah Del Taco near 12th street.
    On Tuesday February 28, 2012 Carista decided that my two weeks notice of employment was unfair and started throwing around lies about the job I do and fired me in front of other employees and customers alike, causing a scene and telling me to leave the building. She brought up wild allegations about me trying to “sabotage” the store. This is not the case. She brought up points about how I’ve always had an attitude problem since day one. I have always strived to be the best employee I can be even working almost full time hours despite applying for part time and being in college. I even was scheduled on the one day a week that I requested off on my availability in my application at the very beginning which was the very day this incident occurred and I challenge that if I have always been so terrible, why was I only let go after I gave two weeks notice? I had asked her for tonight off actually and so it is a little ironic that this happened. Since Carista has become GM she has had a complete and total personality change. She plays favorites and as long as you are the favorite you’re treated great, but the second you fall from favor or request a shift off you get treated terribly. It shouldn’t be like this. I asked her why she changed so much and she said and I quote, “Why would I give s*** about this store when it isn’t mine? Who cared what happened when Chad was in charge?” She is unfair about hours and even when you’re deathly ill you have to come in because there is no one to cover. I just thought you should know how the store is being run.

    2. I had the same problem with my GM Maritza. I came into work with a sprained ankle. I was limping all over the place, clearly I couldn't stand up. After I left work that night I went to the doctor and the doctor told me and I quote "You are unable to work for a few day because your ankle is twisted" So I called my GM the next day telling her I was unable to work, she said ok. BUT the next day she kept calling me to come into work, so my mom was working with me at the time and Maritza asked my mom "Is Kiki coming in, She needs to come to work!" My mom said "If you can give her a stool to sit on in drive through, then she can come." Maritza said "OH NO, she can't do that she's gonna have to walk around." My mom said "Then she is NOT coming in, find someone else." After that she was always scheduling me at crazy times because I was a minor I couldn't work pass 9 on weekdays, and she would schedule me until 11. Or she would schedule me when I'm still in school 1 or 2 o'clock and get mad when I show up at 3:30 right after school like I always have done. She got mad when my fellow class mates who were also working there at the time and I told her we couldn't work May 25, 2013 because it was our prom night. She scheduled one of the boys after we asked/told her to make sure we had that night off. We were Seniors who had a busy schedule, but she didn't care. She never worked around our schedule. It was unfair because she worked around every other employees schedules except us High School Seniors.

    I have never complained about service "formally" in my life but this was a terrible experience,it started with the cashier..i stood there like an idiot for aprox:5min while she talked trash to a co:worker in Spanish,then asking my "what do you want"after a insanely difficult time ordering from her i watched as the woman preparing the food picked her nose and wiped it on her apron & continued preparing people's food.. after aprox:15 minutes i got my food [baffled] i left took it home and threw it in the trash,[don't really feel like eating her sickness..]
    **THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE** i have ever experienced in my 30 years,
    keep it up deltaco...! i'm sure in this social media,customer service society we live in you will stay in business,lol ya right [loser's] i will never be back.

    1. My husband and I have always enjoyed eating at Del Taco especially at the Palo Verde and Boulder branch and Sunset and Mark Street branch (Store No. 867) in Henderson, NV. April 2 at around 7:25pm, we went to Del Taco and ordered our meals then we sat down to wait for the food. I looked at where the kitchen staff were preparing the food; they did not have gloves on. I told my husband about it. He went to the cashier who called the asst. manager who called the manager or host, Kevin. That was the only time the kitchen crew put gloves on - because they were told to. So we cancelled our order then went to Del Taco at Palo Verde and Boulder. The guy mopping the floor had gloves on both hands but the ones preparing the food only had a glove on one hand. I was so hungry but I lost my appetite. We ended up eating at Port of Sub. The people preparing the food had gloves on both hands. With all the diseases and viruses spreading around, I don't want to take a chance with mine and my husband's health.

  5. There was an open hole approx 3feet deep, no way can you see it, its covered by surrounding grass in front of the Ceres, CA. Del Taco. I walked straight into it ( my left leg) and landed on my face in the grass. I made a report, begged them to cover it my knee was swelling, bleeding, I was humiliated, as its a very busy street, people were honking, my 4 YR Old Grand Daughter was crying..never heard a word.The hole is still there for christs sake! Thought they would atleast call and check on me, since its their fault for having a hole thats unseen till your knee deep in it . Now I may sue.

  7. i work at del taco and i hate it. the manager is so mean. and my hours r terrible. i recommend for no one to work there. it's to stressful. btw. we send ppl to the parking lot because our time goes up high and me/cashier get treated like shit for it later on... I HATE DEL TACO!!!!!

    Sat or Sunday, aug 18 or 19 went and got 10 regualr tacos, some 1/4 burittos and 2 fish tacos. when given the product, i said to the guy "see you tuesday" in reference to taco tuseday which is a family ritual to get either 50, 75 or most of the time 99 tacos (99 because the register wont ring up 100). well the guy at the pick up window said, dont forget about wenesday its 29 cent tacos!! so i forgo taco tuesday for real good taco wenesday and guess what.....ater driving 30 miles ONE way.....no 29 cent tacos....and even though the OWNER said he would give me 6 tacos free with my order next tuesday (big whoopie) and said he would talk to the guy at the window, my impression was either he didnt belive me, or just plain didnt really give a shit. i and my family love taco tuesday, but if this is the way your going to treat loyal customers that spend up towards 100$ per week then guess what? there is always Taco bell, and just started is taco casa's taco tuesday special which rivals yours. being offered 6 free tacos next time we come in is an INSULT. the guy at the window cost me gas for a 60 mile round trip, as well as time. he should be fired. and even if its a franchsie store, dont you at corporate have some say in how a owner operates his store and allows his employees to blemish your brand and trademark?

SHE YELLS AT US INFFRONT OF CUSTOMERS.ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT HER EMPLOYEES BEHIND THEIR BACK AND THEN SMILES TO THEIR FACE TYPICAL HER. IDK WHY SHES STILL OUR FREAKIN MANGER???     2. That sounds like the Manager of the #761 store in Colton. Her name Sujiva her accent is also very strong and hard to understand. Except she is from India I think. She yells at her employees in front of customers and is flat out rude to customers if they interrupt what she is doing. I have eaten here for years, but it is sad to watch how she throws her authority around. Alot of her employees have been there for a very long time and yet she still treats them like crap. The best Manager/employee that works here is Ramon! He tells me he has been there since the building opened 25 years ago. She treats him like a dog and you can always hear her from the lobby talking trash about her employees. She is very unprofessional and they should put someone in charge that cares about her employees and wants to make her customers happy. Someone needs to put this lady in her place............

  11. Araceli was very unpleasant so early in the morning. She DID NOT SMILE, she DID NOT GREET ME, she DID NOT SAY GOOD MORNING OR WELCOME TO DEL TACO OR ANYTHING PLEASANT. After receiving my meal she did not say a word. She DID NOT SAY HAVE A NICE DAY, she DID NOT SAY THANK YOU FOR VISITING DEL TACO, she DID NOT SAY ANYTHING THAT WOULD MAKE ME WANT TO COME BACK TO THIS DEL TACO. If she was having a bad morning the manager should have sent her home or put her on toilet duty. I recommend that she should not be at the drive thru window or speaking to customers period. Of course the first thing I do when I get to work is to tell all my co workers about my disappointing run in with Araceli. I really can't believe she was just so rude and I haven't come across that in a fast food place. I visit that Del Taco because it is close to the freeway and I can get off the freeway and drop off my baby and pick up something to eat and jump right back on the freeway but I will be going to Carls Jr which is across the street from now on. I am very disappointed in the service Araceli gave me and I thought Del Taco would train the staff to have a better customer service demeanor then she displayed.

  16. My Del Taco, La Verne CA has always been great. However, I ordered $150 in gift cards on line, already paid my credit card & can't find out why I haven't received them. They say shipped 12/4. Bad customer service at corp level. Not easy to reach.

  17. I just got a double del cheese burger from the Del Taco at 280 N JONES BLVD in Las Vegas. About half way through it I bit into the biggest hair wad I have ever seen that was found in food. I am completely grossed out and can't stop dry heaving. My father just went to take it back so we'll see what happens but I am definitely not asking for a replacement or ever eating there again.

I worked at Del taco #1097 in Las Vegas on S. rainbow they treat you like crap the new manager Lisa is a pain we had really good workers you just have to know how to treat them and they will do what they always done. since she started the complaints went out the roof she thinks she knows what she's doing but she's the cause of the complaints she brought all new workers that she claimed were good but there all lousy workers but of course she covers up for them most of the neemployees are hispanic and she is really racist sshe thinks just because she's the manager she thinks that gives her the right to belittle people were all human beings and we all deserve the same respect.

  19. I go to del taco #894 & I always get the worse service ever. There is an employee there always on her phone and giving attitude to people. This is the same chick who cut me off once in the parking lot while driving like a maniac. The managers never do anything. She's cut off more than me. Customers have complained and she even hit a car once and come to find out she has a suspended licence. Del taco you should really get rid of the people who give your store a bad name. Veronika Medrano should not work for you.

  20. I think I might have you all beat...I went through the drive through on July 3 2013 in Vista Ca. I ordered for me and my son after working in the yard all day we were tired and hungry. I paid for my order with my debit card. The employee never returned my card to me, I was so tired I didn't realize she hadn't handed it back. We got our order and went home. I didn't miss the card till the next morning. When I went back to collect it, it wasn't there! The girl at the drive through stole my card and used it after she got off work that evening! To bad for her Starbucks has an excellent surveillance system! It was like watching her dumb ass on HDTV use my card! I pressed charges and she is now awaiting prosecution by the D.A.'s office! I never really go to Del Taco and I don't believe I will be back! Her name is Brianna Palacios and if you live in Vista Ca. or surrounding areas and she applies at you business don't hire her she is a thief and by the time I;m done with her a convicted felon!

Don't even bother with them since one of my buddies try to threaten the Area Director(Tracy Richerson) with a law suit if he does not fire the GM from store #278 since he's a safety hazard to all of his employee's and enforces bullying at his workplace. You know what that stupid guy ended up doing, having human resources to come down there and only ask the GM about pay stubs and thats it!? My buddy called him again and told him that he has enough of his games and wanted to talk to the corporate manager whose name is Dave. Which didn't surprised me that he ended up refusing to give his numer away since he knows what he's doing is wrong. He then try to end our conversation by coming up with some childish excuse and hang up the phone. One day Del Taco, some one with powerful connections will bring you down for all of your illegal activities.

I went to an interview with the owner of a Del Taco in Santa Paula, CA. he loved me, hired me on the spot and even gave me a hat and 2 shirts. he told his District Manager to call me with my start date, and she never called me. Everytime I called she would say she was busy and that she hadn't made the schedules yet. that was 2 weeks ago.

  27. desert Hot springs location on palm drive. absolutely atrocious in the sense that: the work station the prep area is filthy. any customer ordering can clearly see that and its nasty. The counter is littered with food . Lettuce ,cheese ,meat and so forth.. the floor same thing.. I have gone 3 times.. thinking bad day? it gets worse... yesterday the woman had no gloves on at all! They don't clean the area as they go along at all.. they pile more food on the existing old food and keep making more... its the worst I have ever witnessed in my life. The staff is friendly and the tables and eating area very clean but the Kitchen should be condemned even. If a health inspector came in... which I will call that would be that fines... and maybe closed down even... HEAD OFFICE TAKE A TRIP>>> GO SEE for YOURSELF... make a call and tell that manager to clean up her act and the restaurant or they are FIRED..

  28. My family and I have been frequenting the Kingman Del Taco restaurant since June 2008, including our 4 children, all with special needs. We chose this as our family spot due to their low prices and play area in which our kids could enjoy. Today, Sunday, May 4th, 2014 at approximately 2:15 pm , after playing in the area for over an hour, a manager, approached my oldest (Autistic, 12 year old physically, 6 or 7 mentally) and ordered that he no longer play in that area. At the time, he and another girl, about 9 or 10, were the only 2 playing along with my 5 year old son. My son did so without question, but as I observed the situation, and had been watching them play the entire time, I decided to ask her why she made that decision. She simply said "he's too big," smiled, and walked away. As she did so, I explained wed,not return to this, our favorite family spot if over 5 years, and exited. I can understand there are posted rules concerning height and age, however, there are no explanation's regarding children with disabilities or special needs related to their specific conditions. Does this mean Del Taco cares only about the safety of "normal children" and not that of those with mental or physical conditions. As a parent, who is far from perfect, with children who are also not perfect, I can read the silver lining!! Del Taco was a respectable place, that catered to our family and their needs.... until today!!!

Me and my kids ordered 4 cheese hamburger meals at this Del Taco Rest.110 W El Norte Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92026, We come back home to Winchester CA. on Saturday 06/14/2014 around 10pm. but the meals don't have cheese, then my kids asking to the supervisor and 2 other worker, my kids asked may I have the 4 cheese and we can put in to the hamburgers and the supervisor said no and I can't give a new hamburgers, and also the hamburgers has no ketchup and pickles how bad answer of the Supervisor also we were waiting for 30 minutes before got the meals, customers came and goes and my kids still waiting for food. please put attention to my complain, thank you.
    PS. they never gave as received from the cashier.

Don't play with this as hole company called the better business bureau and health department also the city business license in Las Vegas location Charleston and shadow lane lv, no 702-384-0264 del taco#496 manager had her fat as sitting on the counter texting stood there while the other two females doing nothing finally took my order told the girl I wanted fresh fries she put the freshly made fries on top of the old one's would not ever eat at this dump again.
