I was a very loyal customer of Conn's every appliance and electronic we have is from Conn's had a glass door malfunction on a Cabrio top load washer barely had it a little over a year paid for it and bought the extended warranty and they wont fix it even though the tech said it wasn't from abuse on our part.Their manager said it wasn't part of the warranty that we would have to pay 290.00 dollars to have it fixed just doesn't seem right the washer didn't cost much more than you just lost a very loyal customer been doing business with you for 20 years, not anymore.I'm giving my business to Sears from now on

I don't know what is going on, maybe a house cheaning in thier business office and better training. No matter! I will never do business with them again and will warn others against Conn's.

    4. I WILL never shop at Conns again! I purchased a sofa & love seat about 2 months ago, along with it I purchased the "extended warranty".....What a bunch of BS that is. I have damage to the arm cushion of my sofa and Conns will not fix it. I was told at first that a new cushion was being ordered and sent to me and to call the 800 service number once I received it and they would set up an appt. to repair. I waited 4 weeks and called back and was told there was a computer glitch and the cushion would be re-ordered.......30 mins later I received a call and was told that Conns would not repair my sofa, that the damage was ripped and torn.....duh hince the reason I need a repair! Anyway, it looks like I have to pay for this out of my pocket.....I plan to try and cancel my warranty and possibly get a refund, but I seriously doubt it. This place is terrible.....I will be sure that everyone I know does not shop at Conns.....Hopefully when Nebraska Furniture Mart opens in the Texas are they will go out of business!

    6. i AGREE worst place ever. They wont fix anything! I bought a front end washer and dryer and since day one I continue to have trouble with it. Bought a warrenty over $500 and in 3 years have had them come out 11 times and they still refuse to replace this piece of crap washer.

    7. When Mr. Powell was in Charge and Mr. Conn was alive, this was an outstanding business. Mr. Powell brought the 100 year old business from two stores in 1977 to over 30 stores before he retired. He built the business, based on competitive pricing and extreme customer service. Those days are long gone, and it this company sucks. Period. I worked for them in the 1980s during college, but I would spend a nickel with them now.

    8. We to have been loyal customers for over 18 years...but, never again. Be purchased a living room suit and have had promblems with it from day one. When the service tech came out from Quality Furniture he told basically the furniture was junk, it would be too expensive to repair, and that Conns would be getting back with us. Well, after a couple of weeks we called Conns to find out when the repairs would be made. All we got was the run around from customer service. A month later we called again to find out the warranty would not cover the repairs and they had since voided our warranty.
      No one could give us the reason why the warranty was void, then a floor supervisor said the only reason she could come up with was infestation!!!! The corporate office stated we have a small dog in the pictures the service tech took… although the service tech did not report any infestation the corporate office must had assumed there was and voided the warranty. Our home is less than 5 years old and spotless and our dog is less than 5 lbs. I have since written letters, talked to customer service, floor supervisors, store managers & left several messages for their customer relations person Ms. James with no response. So, I called Paul the service tech with Quality Furniture who said to me…I told you Conn’s would not pay for the repairs the parts would have to be purchased from the same manufacturer that made the furniture and they know it was cheaply made and will more than likely fail again so, if they can find and out than that’s what they’re going to do. Now, all three pieces are broken we can even use the recliner nor the couch due the arms are hanging off because the frame was poorly made.

      So, now we have hired an attorney. I would never reccommend them!

    9. I'm wondering if it is time to stop being anonymous and get together with a class action suit against them. I bought furniture on Jan 11, they delivered it damaged jan 12, and I have been waiting since then with major run around since. I have kept the furniture covered and the tags are still on, but I bet they don't fix it.

    10. I can not believe that they have the audacity to charge a restocking fee for products being returned because they are malfunctioning. I have had my computer for 10 DAYS!!! And its the 2nd one. The first one I had to exchange out with in 15 hours because it would not work. Seriously.... I am so frustrated with them. I will NEVER purchase from them again or refer them to anyone. I would strongly advise those searching for appliances, electronics and furniture to not attempt to step foot in their store.

    12. I've been trying to get an issue resolved for over a year and from the incompetent ppl at the corporate office to the local store manager who cannot evidently do his job at a manager. I've reported it to the BBB because this is out of control. You cannot get any assistance past customer service or get names to dept. heads. I went into the store to pay off my account and was convinced to purchase new merchandise, with the sales associate telling me that my $80.74 can be used as a down payment on new merchandise. I went for it and only to find out when I went in mother's day 2013 to make my 1st payment on my new account I was told I had 2 accounts! I began to dispute this through their corporate office and to this day have 20 helpdesk tickets. Their resolution is that I pay all the interest because I did not pay off the balance when I was told it could be added to the new account. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THE SE PPL. THE STORE MANAGER BETO CANTU IS NOW ASKING THAT I SEND IN MY OLD CONTRACT BECAUSE HE SAYS THE CONTRACT EXPIRED! WTF??? ARE YOU SERIOUS THEY SHOULD HAVE WHAT THEY GIVE THE CUSTOMER!!!!

  2. WOW!!! I am having trouble with Conn's about some furniture that we bought. We purchased the extended warranty & can't seem to get the right parts in. I have been dealing with this since Jan. 19!! They have to replace 7 of 9 cushions @ 3 hrs of work a piece!! That's insane. Just replace the furniture!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!! I just bought it on Nov. 1, 2011. I shouldn't be having this many problems.

    4. We financed a sofa at Conn's on February 14th, 2014. Saturday, February 15th delivery truck artives, gets our sofa half way into our front door, noticed it was scratched and said they could not leave the sofa.
      I went into the store on Monday, February 17th, to select a different sofa, and added an air conditioner to our purchase. Delivery was scheduled for following Saturday. At 9:00 am on Saturday we are told our chaise lounge was damaged during shipping.
      Scheduled delivery for following Saturday. No one ever showed up, I called the store and was told they tried to call the day before (Friday) to schedule delivery. No one called, delivery was already scheduled. They were to call Saturday, day of delivery, to let us know what time to expect them.
      We never received our furniture, and still do not have it. Conns will not return calls, when I did speak to them all they said is, "Sorry you're not 100% satisfied."
      We NEVER received our furniture, of course we're not satisfied.
      Conns has not tried to fix this. All we wanted was a new sofa and A/C. This has turned into a night mare, they have actually blocked me from posting comments on their FB page.

    2. I agree! I purchase a washer last than a year and two ago the washer was leaking water from the bottom. I called them to repair it and so far they have not done anything at all. So I am still waiting for a replacement and I don't know when it will happen, since I am waited two weeks for repair and they did not come, imagine how a long I will wait for a replacement.

    6. I agree!!! I bought a washer/dryer set. A year and a half later the pump burst floods my laundry room. The washer is under warranty, so I set up a service call, they come out, state that a part needs to be ordered and will take 3-5 business days. I call on the 6th day because supposedly I have to wait for them to call me (which never happened) but I called them only to find out Samsung has discontinued the part and they have to order it from another vendor. WHAT??!!!! It took you a week to figure that out? So they tell me its going to be another 3-5 business days for the new part to come in. But wait a minute...if its discontinued...who are you getting the part from? So all in all its been going on 3 weeks and now 4 weeks since I had a washer! This is the worst company ever when it comes to Customer Service. The Yes money is to pull in customers because otherwise, I don't think ANY one would purchase from them! BEWARE!

  4. I have been a very loyal Conn's customer for the last 10 years. I want to make every person aware of the scam that Conn's is now running for their credit customers. I purchased a small TV with 6 months no interest from them. I paid every penny of the amount of the invoice and in the payment book that they sent me. I was notified last night 3/18/12 almost a year to the date of my purchase that I owed an additional $108.00 in late fees and interest on my account. It seems that the salesman at Conn's attached a $16.00 insurance policy on my TV in the fine print contract section and did not ask or tell me about this little detail. Come to find out he was paid additonal commission for this insurance. When I called the Dallas, Texas Conn's manager about this he told me my salesman was no longer employed because of these types of issues. I paid Conn's in full for my purchase. They never informed me of this insurance until a full year later. This is a scam and a con. I would not recommend anyone buying from Conn's.

I know how you feel I also purchased a 70 inch tv and was never told about the insurance "add on" and a friend of mine told me that if you are a homeowner and have homeowners insurance that you can use that instead of their insurance policy.Now here it is 6 months later and I keep getting harassing calls from their collection dept saying I still owe for the tv and I keep talking to different people and every person has a different balance and keeps telling it will be zeroed out and taken care of!! the bad thing is I thought it was closed out so I bought a refrigerator from them also and if I had known this would happen I never would have bought another thing from them ever again!!!

  5. I am paying off what i owe at Conn's and never purchasing a single item from there, I have never been this unsatisfied before. The managers one being Danny, which works at the local store by my home has not done a thing to give excellencent customer service!!!! Never receive any call backs for 5 days after they told me they would call me back within 15/30 mins. Was put on hold for several mins at a time. Come to find out after 18 days my item was never even sent to service!!! Contacted the store on the and was given attitude by the manager he said he had no way of contacting anyone from the service dept. That is a bunch of BS!!

    I have recieved calls at my place of employment regard a 14.00 insurance plicy I never asked for and after advising them not to call my work #they continue to. I have a home and cell #that they have and yet the call my work # behind some bull I did not even ask for this company is full of shit and I will never buy from them if they were the last place on earth. I called to the so called corporate office and this was to the same reps I been speaking with they kept me on hold then came back and Hung up the phone on me.. I am reporting there ass to the BBB...

    I purchased a 55" tv for a total of $1407.24 took it home took it out of the box and it did not have what I wanted. Returned to the store inquired about the return and new purchase. I was told by an incompetent staff of Conn's that I had to be charged a 15% restocking fee and pay the difference of the new tv selected. I pointed out the new selection and we made a deal. I drove home picked up the 55", returned it to the store and selected my 60" to be told they did not have it in stock. The sales associated was so incomptent he did not check to ensure that he had the new selection in stock. The incompetent manager gets involved and informs me that the tv that I selected would be in on Monday and the date of my visit was Saturday. So I agreed to wait until Monday. Well today is Tuesday and I still have no tv and the incompetent sales person doesn't care nor does the resolution department at conn's.

  12. I have been trying to purchase a refrigerator for our department -- a branch of COUNTY government. I have a purchase order in place, WHICH WORKS THE SAME AS CASH. But "corporate" is telling the store personnel that they can't sell to us because we haven't been approved for CREDIT. UNBELIEVABLE INCOMPETENCE FROM THE SALES PERSON ALL THE WAY UP THE CORPORATE LADDER.

    2. You can't get the address or phone number of the corporate office in The Woodlands. They are so ashamed of there products and service department, they moved from Beaumont and do not want to be contacted or have to deal with all the problems. I bought a recliner in 2009 and bought the extended warranty. The chair started coming apart less than 9 months after I bought it. We don't have young children and the chair was never abused. It took 6 visits and over two years and talking to the VP to tell her the chair had literally fell apart to get store credit to replace the chair. I bought a more expensive chair with the warranty again and within 6 months the fabric started to come apart. I have had them out 2 times and they took pictures and after I had to call them several times, they told me the fabric was not covered in the warranty and it is. They just don't want to replace the chair or give me store credit.

  14. I purchase a refrigerator found out the water filter didnt work . The service guy told us he will order another filter and it will take 7-10 day so we waited and waited it never showed up so I call the customer serv dept(more then once) and they tell me they wasnt going to replace the filter and I havent even had the refrigerator for 30 days and you telling me you cant replace a filter that came with the refrigerator. Conn's is REDICULOUS!! I will deal with Sear's for now on....

    I purchased a refrigerator in July.
    It did not work and delivery driver picked it up.
    Store manager Brent refused to refund down payment money or cancel account.
    Brent refused to bring me a new refrigerator.
    I disputed charge through visa and my attorney and got the money back.
    I filed a claim with the Oklahoma Attorney General and the Consumer Protection Agency.
    After I filed a claim and the Attorney General Contacted the store, a store manager called and said my account has been closed.
    I still receive several calls a day from collections about my account.

I called the toll free number on my paperwork to talk to someone in customer service and they were extemely rude and did not seem caring at all. If someone know the phone number or e-mail to the head executie of this company please let me know. My son has issues too with Conn's and neither of us will be returning. Brand new store in town....sad.

I have placed several calls trying to contact the store manger for info. on how to get my truck fixed but they refuse to call me back. Worst store ever. Its no wonder why Best Buy has the electronics market cornered.

  18. We bought a samsung plasma from the san antonio,tx Rittiman/35 location. Well fast frwd 2 months and the tv is burned out. The warranty repair dudes have no idea how to fix it or what part it needs! So its been three freaking weeks they've had my tv now and still waiting on a part. Im getting a lawyer for small claims to expose the fact they are selling faulty tv's. The crazy thing is they wont replace the tv with a new one instead put all these new parts in it to fix my 2 month old tv. Never again with conns. Ever!

  20. I purchased a tv with conn's and financed half of it. I received their credit card and made a payment to the address it states to send payment to in Beaumont TX. I get a call saying I am delinquent. I sent them the proof that it was paid and withdrawn from my account. Every time I call they tell me that they will find my 150.00 and apply it to my payment. There documentation into the computer is so inadequate that Im explaining my situation three to five times to different individuals. I will never purchase from Conn's and will stick to old faithful "Best Buy".

I went into a Conn's store in Richardson Texas on belt line road to make a payment the cashier put in a 713.24 payment but was suppose to be 173.24. a manager supposedly voided the payment and they reswiped the card and took another 173.24 payment so i go to bank and the payment wasn't voided so I go back to Conn's again they got on phone it was suppose to be taken care of again to the bank it wasn't resolved I made 3 trips between and conn's put 30 miles on my vehicle and still not resolved and in meantime my bank account is tied up have a negative balance causing things to bounce and I have no money for necessities all because of conn's mistake and they take no blame its banks fault or my fault tried Gin to talk to a manager at store and all he did was give me attitude so advise anyone to watch your payment or get screwed like we did this happened on 11/14/12 is now 11/17/12 and bank account still on hold Conn's has bad attitude about taking care of customer..Daryl

  24. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with ever in my 33 years. I purchased a tv with voice activation and the microphone went out and I can't get anyone to fix it. We have been going through this for 4 months now. Never buy from them they are the worst company and will screw you and then say there is nothing they can do after you bought the warranty or tell you it a manufactuers problem and they have to take care of it. Worse company ever save you money go to BEST BUY!!!!!

Only to get dup out of my rebate check. I was suppose to receive a rebate check for 79.00 and here it is Dec. 2012 and I still have not receive my check yet. I received a email stating that I didn't send all the paper work, when in fact I copied everything I sent them...They lied and lied about the check they said the sent out... telling me not to cash it when it call, knowing good and well they had not sent a thing. the whole company is a joke and lies. They said they were going to resend the check. I have not received nothing yet. What a ling company. They need to be reported. why lie about your rebates. upset customer!

  35. I purchased a recliner fom Conn's in July 2012. Within a few months the chair broke. A technician came and inspected the chair and ordere new parts he came and supposedly fixed it and within 2 days the chair broke again. We again called a tech came out and again parts are being ordered. When I called Conn's customer service dept I was told it was not Conn's problem and the manufacturer would only attempt to repair it again and would not replace it. If the chair breaks again they will again do the same thing. I am now paying for a chair that is not usable. CONN's does not protect their customers and deserves to be run out of business. I encourage all of you to file a complaint with your better business bureau. Like many of you I will never buy anything from Conn's and will warn my friends to not either.

  36. I purchased a washer and dryer and paid for it by credit card. My card was run twice when I was in the store. Five months later I get a phone call that I didn't pay for the item. I was bothered for multiple days that I needed to prove I paid for it or they were going to come pick it up. When I went down to the store to discuss it with the manager, I was accused of doing the same thing as stealing it by not paying for it. Really???? I gave you a credit card to pay for it.... How did I steal it. They manager was horrible to deal with. When I left the store he said he was going to have his drivers come by and pick it up. Don't buy from this place....they have no tact and no ability to deal with people. They made their problem mine. If you made a mistake within the store why wasn't it noticed that week or month. Why would they come back 6 months later and said they made a mistake and then say I knew about it.... total BS

Finally, I go into the store to discuss it with the manager. He said to me that now that I know I didn't pay for it I "STOLE IT". Really????? I gave you payment. Then he proceeds to tell me that his drivers would be by to pick it up. Hmmm....I don't know about you but who is willing to pay twice for an item?

I bought a bed back in July 2011 and they said my minimum payment would be $38 ... that sounded great until I looked at my statement and they were charging me $42.12 Interest each month. I called and complained and all they said was for me to pay extra on the account.

The so called customer is awful....I have been trying to get my tractor/mower fixed for the past 2 weeks, and all times I had placed a service call, I never received a call to tell me when the technician is coming out, although the so called technician never showed, he supposedly said he had been out there to fix it....how can you fix it without the key?
    After this is paid off never again, and rest assured I will tell my friends and direct them to the website....

  41. I went to conn's a year ago and purchased these nice Red couches. I even paid extra for the best warranty they offer. I also went on a program called the RAC program to help with my credit. So I had them come out to clean the sofas, Have 3 kids. The chemical they used and the brush they used, ruined my couches. Where you sit the color is faded (mind you there RED) the material is worn out from the scrubbing with brush they used. I have tried everything contacting the BBB and attorney general's office (waiting on a reply) And all they want to do is give me store credit for what they don't sell anymore. (Discontinued my couches) All I want is for them to reimburse me for what I have already paid into., or give me store credit for what I have already paid. Conn's just keeps saying "there nothing we can do or that's all we can do for you" What kind of crap is that, i thought u valued your customers or your customers happiness comes first. All I can say is this is the worst place to go.. There name (Conn's) really tells you what there all about

  42. I will never shop at Conns again! The name "CONNS" is just what they are! I purchased a 4200.00 Bed Set 9 months ago. The Bedrail (wood) broke, it split right down the middle, which holds our Headboard and our footboard together. (which is now held up by bricks)
    I called Customer Service, they said someone would be out to look at it in 4 weeks, really? I had no choice. So the 4 weeks came around and they service rep came out, took pictures, and specifically said this is covered under warranty, and Conns will replace it. He said it would take about 10 Business days to get a response back. Well 16 Business days later I called, and was informed, that only the headboard and footboard are covered under warranty, not the rails that hold them together. I was then told by the lady that, I should watch "DIY" on TV - that I might get some good ideas on how to fix my bed! Really????
    I am so disgusted with everyone that I have spoken to with Conns.

  43. I will NEVER IN LIFE shop at Conns again. Their only priority is making the sale, after the sale is made they could give two fucks about you receiving your merchandise. I purchased furniture over a month ago and I am still waiting to receive all of the pieces. .. one particular piece was even delivered to my house damaged and they had the nerve to deliver the same exact piece to me again. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay the hell away from Conns. I would not reccomend Conns to my worst enemy.

  45. Let me start by saying I have recommended Conns to several of my friends and am a very loyal customer my self. With that said this last month I have had the absolute WORSE experience with your service center. I have been without a washer for 5 weeks in a house with 5 people. This has been a constant pain since 6/24/13 when I made the first service call. I waited a week for a repair person to come out he makes his assessment and it was clear at that time he had no idea what he was talking about. Then we wait TWO WEEKS for the part to come in. He comes back out changes the part THE VERY NEXT DAY IT FILLS WITH WATER AND WONT DRAIN. I CALL BACK, I AM TOLD TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK FOR YET ANOTHER SERVICE CALL AGAIN THE SAME JACK@$$ COMES OUT... WELL I JUST CAN FIGURE IT I NEED TO CALL MY SUPERVISOR he says. I then call the service center they explain my washer has been submitted for exchange give it another 3 days. I call back today and am told well ma'am they are ordering parts. NO, HELL NO, NO WAY I REFUSE TO WAIT ANY LONGER I LEFT A VERY DETAILED MESSAGE THAT I NEED TO BE CONTACTED RIGHT NOW this needs to be resolved TODAY no more waiting no more incompetence I need a washer. If I go 5 weeks without a payment you people call me everyday, but you have no problem at all making me wait for a product 5 weeks.

    1. I have been a repeat big ticket Conn’s customer for several years now. Our most recent purchase was a 3D big screen in Dec. 2012. We paid for Conns to install it. It was slightly crooked, but for the most part, we were fine with it. In June 2013 (less than six months later) we noticed that the TV mount is pulling away from the wall. I’ve gotten the runaround a lot over this issue. My first call was to the store from where I purchased it. The manager took my info and said Customer Service would be calling me to discuss resolution. A few days later when I’d not gotten any call back, I called again. That manager told me the first manager was incorrect and I’d have to discuss with Installation. I talked to install and gave them all my information and was told that a manager would have to call me back. A manager never did call me back so I called again. Same thing happened again. The next time I called, I was told I would need to send in pictures. I did and a week later I had to call back to find out where we were with getting a resolution. I was asked if I had tried moving the TV. No, I had not. Then I was informed nothing could be done because there is only a 30 day warranty on installation. The offered to send another install team to come out and remount but I would have to pay for a new installation. I was not happy one bit. I asked that a higher up manager call me back to discuss and when I pressed I was told that yes a manager would call me back the next day. A week went by and nothing. So, I called the Beaumont corporate office and explained that I was not happy with how installation was trying to handle my situation. Beaumont put me on hold and the end result was that the install dept was well aware of my situation and that the top manager of the installation dept would be calling me back the next day. That was a week ago. I have yet to hear anything. I will be calling back again tomorrow but I am very frustrated and feel this is beyond bad customer service. If I get a fair resolution, I will update my comment. Until then, my current feel is that Conn’s has lost a regular customer.

    11. I have as yet to experience any of the bad things that you all have described. I have made many purchases from Conn's and only had one bad experience and that was with a T.V. I had it repaired twice and said no more. I took it back, did not pay a restocking fee and changed it for a different brand and type. Agreed to pay the difference in cost and have had no problem with it for two years. I am now having problems with them over a payment that was made at the store where I always shop. Although it is not my account, its my sisters. I made the payments for her using my debit card, they both payments on one receipt. Now they keep calling saying one of the payments was not made. After four times speaking to them and even one of there own managers talking to them about this, they keep calling. So for that reason alone, I'm with you.

  47. Conn's is now at 38 days trying to fix our newer model appliance. Conn's service is absolutely terrible. I usually try not to believe the negative reviews, but you are asking for trouble if you hire Conn's for service. I should have read the reviews first. Customer service does not exist in this company. Save yourself the trouble.

    And by the way, I have used Conn's for 4 purchases and I will never shop at Conn's again.

      Unless the consumer is very familiar with the debt collector's phone number or name from prior calls, it's unlikely that most consumers will know they are getting a call from a collector on their cell phone.
      What If the Bill Collector Violates the FDCPA by Calling You on Your Cell Phone?
      If the bill collector keeps calling your cell phone, particularly after you've notified him that it's not a convenient time or place to take the calls, or that you are incurring usage charges for the calls, you can sue the collector in Small Claims Court for damages. Since the time of purchase I have had 4 diffrent service calls, techs do come to my house and order diffrent parts that take almost 3 weeks to arrive. Meanwhile my food is spoiled and rotten w/ mold all over the place. This last time the tech went to my house and said (Well you have ants) Really!! Thank GOD I don't have maggots! I have called the corporate office many times and will always give me the run around, or say " we need to wait till the part gets delivered". I don't believe this. This is not like its a broken lawn mower, that the grass can wait. This is a fridge where my children and I eat from daily. Please BE CAREFUL!!

    Purchased new GE washer/dryer on 8/24/2013; had them delivered on 8/31. Didn't notice until the next day when I went to load my "new" washer for the first time that the lid had a pretty significant dent. In the meantime, the call from Conns regarding purchase/delivery comments. At that time I explained regarding the damage. Received a second call shortly after that with unacceptable resolutions. I told the one inquiring I would visit the manager @ Dowlen Road. Unable to get there, I finally had the opportunity to call today (9/05/13)...I was then told by Mike Hebert (appliance manager) that it had been "24 hrs" and he could do nothing. There is no indication on my contract/paperwork about a 24 hr time limit nor was I informed of this @ the time of purchase.

  53. Wow I was not aware that this company had such a poor reputation when I purchased a bedroom set earlier this year. This past month I have received numerous calls that show on my calkler id when i get home from work. I did not know why they were calling so I would not respond. This past Friday Sept 6 I hit redial. The person that answered called me by name. I immediately asked her why was she calling me! She looked at her screen and said I had a payment due. I corrected her and she told me to forgive the call because there was no payment due at this time. Monday Sept 9 I had another call on my caller ID. I asked to speak with a manager this time the staff that answered the telephone did not want to connect me. I went through 4 employees that kept putting me on hold and hanging up. I called again and asked for corporate office information of which no one wanted to release. I told them I would google it and submit my complaint to them. They connected me to a manager who identified himself as Mathew K I explained to him about the calls. He looks at the account and says that my telephone number was connected to at least one other account of a custoer with the same last name but a different first name. He could not explain when the account was linked to my telephone number but assured me he was removing the information and aplogized for the inconvience. I accepted that and thought it was done until I came home last evening Sept 10 and saw another call!! I am concerned about my privacy and personal information at this point. I think there selling refurbish appliance and electronics. There is no way if these products are new, that there should be issues. There selling extended warranties and declining people repairs. Selling these insurances and not telling people, all bad practices and I'm sure illegal.   56. I got approved through conns for 3000 I was happy because I knew that it would help with my credit. I needed a couch, so I decided to go with the catnapper recliners bad choice. I got my furniture delivered to me on 10/08/13 and the sofa had a big scratch in the arm, so they came and pick it up. I did reviews on it and all of them were bad reviews on how this product is cheap, it bubbles up, it is not a good product. So I called conns on fry rd were I made my purchase, but they told me they don't return furniture. No were in my contract does it say that nor did they ever tell that when I purchased these items and the person that delivered it didnt tell me once I signed it then they won't take them back. In the contract that I received say,"30 day right to examine. Please examine your certificate carefully. If for any reason it does no meet your requirements, you may return it within 30 days of its delivery to your lender or agent from whom it was purchased at no cost to you. " I dont know how they are in business if they don't even keep their word. NO one wants to do business with a company like that. I am very angry this furniture came out to be about 3500 with taxes and delivery. When you pay this much money for something the last thing you want is to have a bad experience the first day you get your furniture. That tells me that they might not even last that long. I hate to see what they look like in a month. I will not do business with conns ever again. If they don't allow me to return the furniture. Then I will get a lawyer involved and also report this to the better business bureau.
    Well they came out today 10/9/13 to delivery the sofa that was damage yesterday and once again it was damage.The top of the sofa had a scratch on it. Then the stuffing was coming out of the bottom of the sofa and the delivery driving said we could straple it.Then the driver called the warehouse and told them that I refused the sofa because I didn't want it. No way was that the truth he is a liar. I didnt want them because it was damage for the second time. Really!!! Then I tried to explain it to him, he said, I don't make it so talk to corporate. I really can't believe the way I have be getting treated from every end. I called conns on fry where i purchase it and spoke with Sam and Mickey and both of them were rude. I called corporate and spoke to 4 people. The only person that took time to send an email out was Pamela.I also spoke with Monique at the warehouse and she also take time to try and reach out to Sam and Mickey, but they really didnt want to hear. They said they already spoke to me about it and there was nothing they could do.Out of speaking to 6 people or more only two people really took the time to help me and also said that it was wrong on how i was getting treated. That they should be able to return the furniture with no problem, but that is not the case at all. If I am spending 3500 on some couches I want then to not have any damage to them. Then they are trying to give me issue about return them. You can't make me keep something I don't want especially if i am paying money for it. That is not how you run business. I will never do business with again.

  63. I bought a riding lawn in May 2012 used it 3 times. Sent it into the Service dept on Sept 17,2013 to get serviced. They brought it back to me on Oct. 17 not fixed ( I had to pay for the Blades) had them immediately load it back up and i have not seen it since. I have called over and over to the Dallas have not got anything resolved. The SERVICE DEPT is worthless. Now as for the Delivery and the Sales people I have no problems yet. The Customer Service Reps can only say "I am Sorry" well they ought to be sorry for working for a Company that doesn't stand behind there products and Standards. But they want you to keep making your payments but why make a payment if you can't use the product. Conn's SUCKS!!!!!

  64. I would like to state that I too have been 'conned' by Conn's. Last month, I went in the store, I had been shopping around for furniture for quite a while and after having been approved for $3500 in credit, no money down, the salesman helped me to find what I "thought" was the perfect fit for my new living room! Instead, I've been introduced to Hell!! On Saturday I picked out my furniture, a sofa, loveseat and recliner. I was contacted and advised that my furniture would be delivered on Monday, 10/28/13. That morning I received several phone calls, one from the warehouse and 2 from the store, all confirming what I'd ordered and what would be delivered. I was at work when the delivery was made. My boyfriend, who moved the old furniture out of the way called me and said "why didn't you tell me they weren't delivering the loveseat?" I advised him that I didn't know they werent.. After that I called the number that had last called me...the warehouse and asked about the loveseat. She stated to me that the loveseat was not in and there was no indication that was even coming!!! She even stated that the salesperson shouldn't have sold that package since all 3 pieces were not available. Ok, so I called the store and asked about this...they said that they would get the loveseat delivered in a couple of days....here we are at 11/7/13 and still no loveseat!! They have stated no returns on furniture...umm..I didn't get what I ordered! The very same day within an hour of delivery, they knew the error and refused to do anything about it. They wouldn't return my phone calls..I've had to continue to call over and over and the lies just continue. I was even told that I could pick a different loveseat...why would I want mismatched furniture? Why won't they just take it out of my house? That's what I asked for if you couldn't deliver as stated! I called the customer service number and the idiot rep on the other line stated I could submit a voluntary repossession!!! What kind of offer is that? OMG...this is so stressful. I know that I am probably going to have to get a lawyer and take this to small claims court because I honestly don't see an end to this. When I went to the store on Sat, 11/2 because I'd had enough of the phone calls and wanted to speak to someone face to face, after the last conversation being "we don't know if/when a loveseat will be in"...why is this my problem? after I get to the store, the manager..this is the Plano, TX location, Ron, he states they have 16,,,,,16 loveseats in San Antonio! I said, "well why can't I get one?" this was all lies I think to get me out of the store, because I will admit, I was a bit loud at that point and VERY upset. So..tomorrow, 11/8 is when I was told that it would be in...however I have a VERY hard time believing it simply because over and over I've been told by the warehouse they have none and no indication of when it would be in, or if it would be in...and surprisingly I go to the store and I'm told they have 16 of them in a warehouse in San Antonio. This is the worst furniture buying experience ever! Please, be VERY cautious if you do business with Conn's. They seem to live up to the name!!!!

    WE'VE PURSCHASED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT IS ELECTRONIC IN OUR HOME FROM CONN'S, FLAT SCREEN TV'S, COMPUTERS, TABLETS, A SOFA SECTIONAL, A LAWNMOWER AND EVEN A HIGH END WASHER ALONG WITH 2YR. WARRENTY AND PLAN TO PURCHASE IT'S MATE AROUND THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.
    BUT HELL WILL FREEZE OVER BEFORE THAT HAPPENS. THIS HIGH END WASHER IS A SAMSUNG AQUA JET V R T SMARTCARE...SEE THROUGH TOP LOAD- BEAUTIFUL...SHE WAS PURCHASED 7/31/13 AND SHE BROKE DOWN 11/23/13.(NOT FROM ABUSE OF ANY TYPE) SHE MADE LOUD NOISES FORM IT'S ROOM AND STARTED BACK AT 38 min INTO THE WASH. ON THE 24TH WE CONTACTED CONN'S AND THEY SENT OUT A REPAIRMAN THE FOLLOWING AFTERNOON, HIS DIAGNOISES WAS OF 4 PARTS THAT TOTALED CLOSE TO $600. FOR A 2 MAN, 2 HR. JOB. NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I DON'T WANT IT TO BE REPAIRED, I WANT HER REPLACED. SOME TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO SHIP THE PARTS (1 BY 1) TO MY HOUSE, BY UPS I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND, CONNS SAYS THAT SAMSUNG IS RESPONSIBLE AND SAMSUNG IS SAYING THAT CONN'S IS RESPONSIBLE. EVERY TIME WE CALL THE STORE OR THE COOPERATE OFC # (409*832*1696) WE GET THAT THE 3RD PARTY PERSON WHO WAS HANDELING THIS IS NEVER AVILABLE OR GONE FOR THE DAY OR WILL CALL ME OR NOT IN. REPAIR PPL HAS YET TO SHOW UP. TODAY IS FRIDAY AND I'M STILL WITHOUT MY WASHER. ONCE THIS IS OVER, I WILL NEVER BUY FROM CONNS AGAIN, EVEN AFTER HELL FREZZES OVER. JUST REPALCE MY WASHER!!!!!!!!!!!!   70. I am writing you to express my displeasure with Conn's regarding my furniture that I just recently purchased 3 months ago. I purchased a sofa/recliner set in October. The motor on the recliner blew out with flames and smoke coming from the recliner which almost had my wife's robe on fire. I called Conn's service center 2 weeks ago to get a service technician to come out and fix the problem but Conn's service center said that they do not deal with furniture and that they are contracted with an outside agency which is US Air. Now keep in mind, this was part of my so called furnituregard plan. This was not elaborated or stated to me in the contract that I have. Conn's service enter had to place a work order which takes 24 to 72 hours to show in US Air system. Over a week has passed, I did not hear from anybody so I called back to Conn's service center and the representative said that they sent off the work order and gave me US Air phone number but I called US Air and they said they have not received the work order. I called back to Conn's service center and the most that can be done is to resend the ticket. 2 days later, I called US Air and they received the work order and told me that a service technician will not be able to come out till February 28 2014. I do not believe that is not right and that is not how you treat your customers who pay for a warranty to have them wait 1 month to be serviced. Both Conn's and US Air representatives say that they not have control and it is out of their hands and I find that unacceptable. All I want is the situation to be expedited with either an exchange of my sofa/recliner set or my recliner fixed because I have been waiting 2 weeks now for a resolution

  71. Conn's is a nightmare on so many levels. They are a bunch of liars and stealers. Their products always seem to have some kind of issue and the customer service sucks. I have been waiting over a month for a delivery rebate check. I call and get no answers. I get transferred, then hung up on. I want my check and will not return to them for anything. I have been with them for over 10 years... I'm done!

  72. bought a 60 inch screen TV from Conns in September 2012. TV stop working in February 2014 and I have been trying ever since to get Conns to fix it. Nearly 4 months of Conns giving me the run around. The customer service people are so rude and everyone lies. I bought the warranty on the TV and can not get it fix. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CONNS AGAIN.

  73. I have tried over 3 times to get Conns to stand by there protection package.I paid for it, but they do not. They have said they don't know how to contact me. I have gave them my new number 5 times. Then they said in the end the numbers was in there notes in stead of where my number should be. They tell me they will come out to check out the things they sold me that are not working, but gives me an appointment for a whole month off. Then 2 hours into when then should be here they call, and say they are not coming. This is crazy. I paid on time and have never miss a payment ever so why don't they do what I paid for.

  78. Had a couch delivered Monday July 7 at 11 AM, I did not notice the problem area(s) until after the delivery. On the back of the couch (where the back panels meet in the corners) its peeling back on most of the corners and you can see screws and staples. There is also material that has been rubbed off on the corners, like its been dragged on the ground.

    I was told by delivery that I had 72 hours to call if there was an issue. I called 623-882-2400 at 830 am on July 10 (NOT YET 72 hours). Once I received a call back @ 1:53 PM (now after 72 hours) I was told that it’s over 72 hours (because Conn's counts days not hours) and they will send someone out to repair it. Why do the delivery drivers say 72 hours if it's not really 72 hours?

    I called customer service and no one can help you, they tell you to call the store, the store tells you to call customer service and they in turn transfer you to the "correct" department, but it's never the correct department. They open tickets and then close them as resolved without ever communicating what the resolution is. They tell you oh I am waiting for corporate let me call you back and they never call. On Saturday July 12, I finally called the manager at the Chandler store, Joe, and he told me that they were going to replace the defective section of the couch. The delivery people called that same day to set up a time to come out and replace the defective couch. Sunday, July 13, the delivery driver is at the house and tells me that Conn's ordered the wrong one. You deliver a couch that is already falling apart and then when you try to correct the problem you mess that up too. I had other items that we purchased (oven, rug and microwave) that have not been delivered and I have already cancelled those. On Monday July 14, I called customer service yet again and asked them to come pick up their defective couch and to close the credit account.. I was told they could come get the couch, for a $129.00 fee and then I could exchange it for something else, or I could do a voluntary repo but I am still responsible for payment.

    When you make a big purchase, such as a couch, you are not only paying for quality merchandise, you're paying for quality customer service. Since the couch was delivered defective and then you sent the wrong couch out to "fix" my issue and the complete lack of customer service, I would like for Conn's to come pick up their defective couch, which still has all the tags on, and close my credit account with no negative impact on my already good credit.

I have been a loyal customer of Conn's for nearly 9 years ~ I should have known better than to make the latest purchase I did from them because of the incredibly incompetent and unprofessional service they provide. I have had many problems in the past with Customer Service related issues ~ Warranties that I bought and paid for and product defects from the day they are delivered. MY BAD for doing business with them again. All I can say is that their name says it all "Conn's" because that is exactly what they do and they teach their customer service representatives and salespeople to do so as well. At this point I have filled suit against Conn's and will follow thru with whatever it costs to have the Replacement Warranty I have in hand honored on a purchase of almost $ 4000.00. Paul ~ as a service technician you are a liar, unethical, Micheala (in the Complaint Dept) you also are a liar. I spoke with her at 8:35 am this morning (9/19/14) after learning that Paul (the technician) had not ordered the parts that he assured me yesterday (9/18/14) had been ordered on Tuesday (9/16/14) the day he came to my home. I was told by Raymond in the service department in Beaumont that the parts were not ordered until yesterday (9/18/14) and would not be in until next Thursday or Friday. That is unacceptable. I told her that I expected a call back from the District Manager (whoever that is ~ she couldn't give me a name) by 12:30 pm today ~ didn't happen. I called back and spoke to Kacie (Employee # 31413 ~ good luck with that one as well) and told her that I was speaking to an attorney this afternoon and if there was not a call back to my home by a District Manager by EOB or I would proceed with legal filings next week.

    Please learn from my mistakes and all of the others who have commented on this site. DO NOT BUY FROM CONN'S ~ DO NOT DO BUSINESS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THEM --- EVER !! If you already have all I can say is I am very sorry and keep very good records ~ your contracts, warranties, etc, who you spoke with, the date, time and employee number each time you call ~ keep a time line. That is the best way to have all of the ammunition you need should you decide to put out additional money to force them to comply with the Warranty you bought and paid for. In case there are others out there who have been unable to get this information, my attorney will be serving papers at the Conn's store where the purchase was made (Highlands in Arlington, TX) as well as the corporate office in Beaumont. Below is the location that is listed as the "Corporate Office" however the highest ranking Manager at that location is "Lilly" who is the VP of the Call Center (according to Kacie ~ Employee # 31413.) Listing this on a website as their "Corporate Office" is very misleading but I really am not surprised by that either.

    1. Let me know how it goes with you because for over 2 years and 2 BBB complaints later i have gotten NOWHERE! I have lost so much money/food and wasted days on my broke fridge. I'm attaching my complaint i posted below

      I purchased several large appliances and electronics from Conn's from 2012-2013 and purchased their extended warranties. From the very beginning i have had issues with my Samsung side by side fridge. First it was the ice-maker and then the control panel had to be replaced and sometimes it would take Conn's so long to come out that i contacted Samsung to do some of the repairs. A few months after the first 2 issues it started having a issue with ice build up in the freezer section so bad that we had to chip away ice from the vent holes to allow air flow. After several attempts to fix the issue i asked for a new fridge and was told that they would continue to try and fix it until parts were no longer available. Almost every month or 2 for 2 years they kept coming out to try and fix it and i was even told by the technician that it was not fixable and that Conn's and Samsung both knew that this fridge had issues. When it was time to renew my service warranty they wouldn't let me because they knew it needed repair and told me i had to pay to fix it out of pocket before i could renew it when they should have replaced it in the first place instead of wasting my time on a un-repairable LEMON fridge. After fighting with them for 2 years and broken promises from managers promising to make this right i filed a complaint with the BBB. The agreement was that they would continue to try and fix it and after 2 more failed attempts they finally told me they would not speak with me anymore about it and would make no more attempts to fix it and hung up on me even after they had ordered more parts and scheduled a appointment to come again but never showed. I filed another complaint with the BBB about 2 months ago and have gotten no response from them. It's sad that i an still paying on this fridge and i still have to chip ice from my freezer and occasionally leave the freezer side open so it can defrost so the fan doesn't lock up. With 8 kids in the home i cannot afford to buy another fridge and i should't have too since this one is only 2.5 years old. I even tried to give the stupid fridge back to them and they told me I would still have to pay for it. Need I mention that they will call your cell, home and work 15 times a day even if you are a day late. Funny how they have so much time to harras someone but you can’t even get a call back on a complaint. THEY ARE ALL LIARS AND I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THEM AND I STRONGLY URGE NO ONE ELSE TO EITHER!!!!
