  1. This letter is in reference to my most recent visit to Cili's on Valentine's Day. The location of the Chilis I visited is:
    4565 W. Lake Mary Boulevard
    Lake Mary, Florida 32746
    Phone- 407-333-0800
I have been a frequent paying customer for the last 16 years. This by far ws the worst visit I ever encountered. The customer service was piss poor and unacceptable. The food was cold, and I asked for my free chips and salsa that I recieved via email. I was told that that they could not honor my request because I needed the code. The manager was very snooty and not helpfull at all. I would never visit Chili's again if this is the type of service I have tolerate. You need to correct this in a timely fashion. Themanager needs more training in customer service. The manager could have made an exception and should have been more diplomatic in her response.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and look forward to a timely response.

    1. I was eating in Chili's on Fort Hood and then a manager starting yelling at one of the cooks. We could heare the obscene language from the kitchen that she was using towards her cooking staff. The manager droped the cooks order (mind you that this was our order) which pushed our meal time back. The server was nice enough to come and inform us what was going on. By the time we got our food it was all luike-warm (NOT HOT AT ALL)... But all in the end, I found out that the cook that prepared our food was fired. If the manager droped our food and was yelling obscene language, WHY WAS OUR COOK FIRED????? After that I may never eat in a Chili's again!!!!!

    2. I think maybe all chili's must prefer hostile manager's. I live in Gadsden, Alabama and they have some of the worst personalities. Maybe they should not be in restaurant business.

    5. I visited Chili's on yesterday in Olive Branch in Mississippi and the waiter kept messing up my friends order then on top of that I had to kill a roach on the table approaching my plate and they insisted that I had to pay full price for my meal which was crazy.

    7. I will no longer go to Chilis because of your fundraising support for the anti Vaccine folks. The claim that vaccines contribute to autism is discredited by scientific study and now this movement is causing terrific harm by allowing once defeated diseases return to potentially harm our children. You folks should be ashamed. There are tons of other ways you could have brought awareness about autism but the method you've chosen is shameful.

    8. The fact that you people are complaining that Chili's was planning a fundraiser for Autism is shameful. The fact that Chili's cancelled in support of you people has caused people like me to boycott Chili's forever. It is Autism Awareness month people change the group you were going to give the money to ...I don't care as long as it is Autism but to cancel the event is a slap in our face not the few who protested. I hope you lose business for your decision. I know I will no longer plan school, band, sport give back nights with you. There are many other choices but Chili's will never be one of them!

    9. Today I was at the Chili's located at 1540 S. University Dr Ft Worth, Tx 76107. When I received my original ticket I had an amount the server told me I owe and when I gave her my bank card she add additional charges to my card. I mention the difference in the amounts and she told me she would correct it. I checked my bank account tonight and she did not correct the amount. I will not be eating at Chili's again!

  3. My wife, and I stopped in at Chili's Boone N.C. a couple months ago. We thought the food was really good so while back in Boone yesterday on business we stopped in again. We got the 2 for 20 again, the food was still good. However this time the service was not, I am one that likes bread with my meal. I had to ask twice for a piece of bread, it took about 30 minutes to get there. By then my food was cold, and I could not finish it like that. Then my wife wanted a desert, and that never came. So we got the ticket which was 39.97 now I don't mind paying a little extra for a side item, and a couple beers. However I do not like to pay double for a 2 for 20 meal. We complained to the manager so he deducted for the desert that we did not get anyway. This is completely unacceptable for me, and I will be filing a deceptive advertising complaint with the Better Business Bureau in our area.

  6. I just had the absolute worst experience of my life tonight. Our party of 14 spent over 2 hours at Chilis and didnt even get to eat. It started from the moment we walked in the door, we were told 10 minutes for our table which took 25 to 30 minutes, every 5 minutes they kept telling us 5 more minutes. We ordered drinks and 6 out of the 14 drinks came wrong. We ordered 3 plates of chips and salsa, one bowl of chips had a screw in it, yes a screw. We told the waitress and she took the chips and said she would bring more. 20 minutes later I called the waitress over and had to ask for the chips and the manager. It took the manager about 10 to 15 more minutes to come over, I told the manager he was rude for not coming to apologize, the manager and he would take the chips off the bill, as he was really snooty. We told the manager that this was unacceptable as we have children eating these and they could have choked had we not found it, the manager said nothing happened so it over now. We still decided to order because we were there for a Birthday and we didnt want it ruined, I asked the waitress if my meal came with onions, she said no, I asked again and this time letting her know I was allergic, she again said no. I got my food and it was covered in tomatoes and onions, I pointed it out to the waitress and she said there wasnt onions on it, again I pointed it out, she then said that it was the pico sauce and I had to explain to her what an onion looked like, she said I could scoop them off or she would. I dont know what part of allergic this woman didnt understand but I was so irritated I told her to take my plate that I didnt want it, to take it off my bill, I had lost my appetite. While I was telling her this my sister began to cut her corn on the cob and it was so cold on the inside it was as if it was frozen. My friend got her plate and her order was completely the wrong dish, she told the waitress and the waitress just turned and walked away without saying a word. By this time I was livid and had to walk outside before I said things I shouldnt in public. I came back in and everyones food was finally there, everyone decided they didnt want to be there because the manager and the waitress were now being rude jerks. I told the manager I wanted the check, 25 minutes later the manager shows up and tells me its taken care of and just walks away, I asked the manager how much my bill was so I could pay and he said no and walked away. This was by far the most disgraceful, unprofessional, disgusting, rude experience of my life. Tomorrow I am calling the health board when I get off work!!!

You must think rude behavior and bad service is acceptable. Food allergies are serious and should be taken as such. Yet people with allergies know where and what they can eat! Get some respect.

  7. we went to chilis this past saturday (cinco de mayo)my boyfriend has a speech impetiment, he's had it his entire life. He worked all day and met myself and some of my friends at chilis, where he had one drink. The service was SO slow it was at least a 20 to 30 minute wait to even see the waitresses face ( she had 2 tables it wasnt that busy) we were all sitting there with no drinks in front of us for 15 20 min when my boyfriend decided to go to the bar and try to order a round for the table. The bartender told him no because we had a waitress and he couldnt serve him so he asked if he could send the server over. 20 MINUTES LATER the manager came over and rudely told my boyfriend that she couldnt serve him anymore because he was slurring his speech and was clearly wasted, ( lets think here 1 drink and a 220 pound man) after taking a minute to attempt and process what just happened my boyfriend was already up attempting to explain to the manager that he stutters when he speaks and personally thanked her for embarrassing him in front of the whole restaraunt her response was " drinking at a restaraunt is a privelage which you clearly took advantage of because your wasted." appauled he then got very upset and called her a name he probably shouldnt have before he stormed out. i followed and when i returned one of my friends was attempting to reason with the manager who was sticking with her "its a privelage to drink here and he took advantage" story. She also stated that when she was speaking with him he was holding on to the wall to keep himself up ( there was no wall where they were standing and talking) When they were finished talking the manager stood there with her arms crossed watching our table like a hawk ( probably to makesure we wouldnt leave our tab) I got upset and then told her not even to bring any of the drinks we ordered over and to take them off the tab, i told her i was absolutely disgusted with the way she handled that situation and she should have more respect for someone with a disability they cannot control and she should be ashamed of herself and that i was going to makesure that my friends and damily would never return to the restaraunt. Her story then changed again and she said that the bartender and our waitress ( who we never saw) told her that he stumbled when he walked into the bar room. i told her thats bull because he was at work all day and this was his first drink, She then plastered an enourmous smile on her face and in a very fake voise said " you are so polite, your manners are amazing, dont worry we will see you here soon im sure youll be back, see you next week! This is a MANAGER of a restaraunt and my manners were bad?!! She then sent over the check which still had all of the drinks on it, so i sent the check back to have them taken off, AFTER ANOTHER 15 MIN she came back and had only taken off ONE drink, i had to send it back a second time and she said that she accidentally took off a large beer instead of a small so that will take care of the margaritas ( a 6.oo beer for 15.00 in margaritas?) I asked her to either take it off or i would leave the amount of the tab minus the margaritas and tip the waitress seperately ( whom wasnt allowed to even come near our table after this ordeal) she finally took off the drinks and stood there with her arms crossed again staring us down while all 10 of us paid our tab.dont get me wrong i would understand and wouldnt be writing this if my boyfriend was in any shape or form drunk because i understand the consequences but This was SICKENING.Every person ive told this story to has said they wont be back to chilis. This is discrimination and disgusting this manager should be fired for her lack of professionalism i called the general manager who offered me gift cerificates which i obviously refused i wont even eat here for free, and i wouldnt even give them away!

seems like management everywhere you go sucks with this company
i left the company of my own accord and when i returned to speak with management about using them as a work reference for my next job i was approached by a former coworker who informed me that one of the managers there had told the team i was fired due to inappropriate behavior and poor work ethic
this is NOT true and furthermore, had there been an actual confrontation, discussing said conversation is a complete violation of policy
the terms and conditions we sign pre employment states that each team member is hired on an AT WILL basis meaning we may quit or be terminated at any time for any reason
after several weeks of constant mistreatment and blatant disrespect i chose not to return and now my former manager is sullying my name

  11. To whom it may concern,
On the 19th of May, The Riverwalk in San Antonio, held an event, Armed Forces River Boat Parade! We purchased tickets to sit near the river, for a better view and convenience. As we entered the gate to show our tickets, we met a young Military Veteran, whom had a prosthetic Arm, from shoulder down! We Thanked the young Man and asked if he was ahead of us! He stated he was unaware that tickets needed to be purchased in order to have a seat. As we went to our seats, we both decided the right thing to do was to give our tickets to the young Man, whom selflessly served his Country and was wounded in the process! When we went to find this young Veteran, we found his Wife, whom stated, her Husband, went to find a seat, due to being unable to stand for long periods of time, and that he asked a worker at Chili's if he could sit down to rest for a moment and was told, NO!!! This Chili's, located at the Riverwalk has outdoor seating! I am truly appalled by this! I will personally never enter another Chili's, due to this! I also, will and have shared this experience on FB and anywhere else I can! Men & Women serve this Country, for our Freedom, come home wounded, mentally & physically and your Corporation, doesn't even have enough respect, due to you having to turn tables over for MONEY, to let this young Man sit for a few minutes!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Again, I will, NEVER, come back to any Chili's! Yes both of us are Military affiliated!

  12. Please bear w/ me as I'm very analytical and believe that limited detail might not suffice. I had a rather multitude of problems last night at this location. Similarly, my guest and I were quite perplexed how things were handled as well. Quick version (store #588) turned into a business training and an unsolicited scolding from your Manager Julie Carpenter.
In the beginning, I clearly and politely told bartender Danielle, when we ordered, "that I was not in a rush"! Drinks were fine...appetizers fine....yet meals were delivered way too fast! I felt pressured to finish the appetizers, so this is not good service attention to detail. Danielle removed my plate then both servers ignored us for a good 20 minutes. I had pushed the appetizer plate forward, showing we were finished, and then watched the poor service prevail. Both servers passed by multiple times...yet couldn't comprehend my dinner was waiting. Similarly that my guest was barely eating...as she was waiting for my dinner to arrive. When Danielle finally and disinterestedly showed up...I explained to her the problems. I was never vulgar....rude....or abrasive...thought provoking...YES!!! I'm there as the customer and shouldn't have to ask her to serve me...this is what I said. From that moment on...we were the plague.

Manager (Julie Carpenter) approached us in a very abrasive fashion and barked at me (paraphrasing) "what did you do/say to my server? She's in the backroom crying?" This was 25 minutes after the initial conflict. I spoke to Julie for probably 20-25 minutes....as she was QUITE accusational and said "I'm the Mother here and those are my girls!!!!" Why does this matter? There was so many comments that were exchanged during this session..I just can't type them all out! Julie remained very accusational...seemed more concerned w/ how hew staff's feelings were tarnished...and wasn't very concerned w/ me writing a negative review! Later when asked for Julie to return...she refused. Both bartenders ignored us til later...and were in close proximity probably 20 times+++

2nd bartender Erica thought they were giving us '10 out of 10' service??? Now... after a 20 minute session w/ their manager....mind you filling up waters and asking for another drink or napkin was like a root canal...I merely chimed in and said, ' more like a negative 5.' Sooooooo.....glutton for punishment....we stayed and did something unmentionable....ORDERED ANOTHER DRINK!!! Erica heard our version....made a decent attempt to counter the bad taste....and we closed up our tab. Erica said that Julie would NOT come out for 2nd visit....seemingly odd? And left over a 20% tip after being scolded and ignored....?

Not to be discarded, but definitely a valid point, we watched half of the kitchen crew and bartenders remain in the backroom for over 5 minutes. Consoling an upset worker this way does what.....IGNORES YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! Especially when an opportunity to 'make things right' was suggested by me!!!

So....I'm a HUGE fan of poor/indifferent service given by staff that exercises bad choices deserves retribution! The pen IS mightier at this point...and I think this establishment STILL doesn't understand what they did wrong and take the ownership for their errors!!! With that....I'd say a revenue loss of $300+ per month might make my review scar! This is what the service world has come to... get mad at your patrons when they complain....and seek false & gravely invalid comfort from your co-workers...who coincidentally deliver that same inferior service and attitude....sad sad sad!

Sometimes the real challenge is to make a bad service situation turn into a 'lifetime' customer....once Chili's Supervisors figure this out...please contact me!

  14. Good afternoon,

I’m not sure if this is your email address or not but I wanted to send a special thank you to Elizabeth Ikner. I had left a bag of items that I had purchased from H&M on a chair in the bar area as I was running out to catch a flight. By the time I returned to Denver, luckily all was not lost. Elizabeth had not only recovered the items but actually took them over to H&M to return them. H&M subsequently sent them to the corporate office and ultimately credited my credit card.

There is no substitute for honesty and integrity and Elizabeth you have displayed both! I’d like to say many, many thanks to you and the Chili’s family for being a stand up organization…now I see why you are the manager! As always I will continue to frequent your location as you have a customer for life!

    Cheers!

  17. To Whom It May Concern:
After reading the above emails, believe me Chili's will be out of business, hopefully, sooner than later. I was at the Chili's-Dadeland Mall-Miami-Fl, apprx 2 wks ago, I wrote an email stating the Horrible serve, food, etc...and recieved no reply. I arrived with my sister at 5 30 pm for dinner, 2 for 20.00 deal. Told we had a 20 min wait..after 25 mins we got a table..waited 25 mins for waiter, waited 25 min for food, food was cold, the veggies almost frozen! Disgusted, request the check, another 25 mins, finally got up and told the hostess, pls my check or I'm leaving....The surronding (7 tables) tables to ours were left with dirty dishes, glasses, etc We had to eat our horrible meal with this site, additionally, the floor was filthy dirt, napkins, food all over the place. How sad..this WAS a really good place to eat....I and my family will not return to ANY other CHili's, thankfully, we live in Miami, Tons of great places to have good service. Barbara

  22. Chili's is my favorite restaurant and has been for over 30 years. My recent experience has made me decide never to go back. I ordered a chicken quesadillas, no bacon and little cheese. When the lunch came to me, avocado was dripping from the quesadillas. I tried to remove some and in doing so realized that there was no grilled onion or peppers, and I actually counted the tiny pieces of chicken. There were 8 one half inch pieces of chicken. The bar tender reordered the meal. Much less avocado but no onion or pepper and very little chicken. Shame on you Chili's. I will never go back. I will also spread my experience with others. Again, shame on you Chili's.

  23. I visited chilis in Hialeah on Saturday at 1130. the place was not busy maybe 3 people. My sister got there first and had a table no one came by to get a drink order. I got there and waited for a while for a drink order the drinks came and we put our order in. the food came and we order 2 beers the waitress took off and so did the bartender we waited a while for our drinks . I finally got up and went to the back and said to the manager where is the bartender and the waitress. the service was been awful the waitress walked behind us and said bull crap and I reacted bull ---- the manager looked at me I said you didnt hear what she said he said no I didnt. As he walked back to the table with me she made another comment. I said did you hear that. he said no I didnt. He said what can i do to make this up to you. The food and drinks were $49.00 I know that I could have had some of this taken off however it was a matter of principle . I asked that the waitress apologize that is all I wanted. well apparently this was a big joke . she was laughing with the other customers along with the other employees. 3 different employees came over not her. one for the box, l to pick up our gift card and one for the rest of the money. Apparently the manager was very nice but could not handle his employees. What I am looking for now is an apology from that restaurant with a gift card for a better experience The one visited was 5700 N.W. 173rd drive. thank you. I have been here before. Also my thoughts are that there are so many people that would love to have her job. if she doesnt like working with people or her job then she shoudnt be there

  24. My family came to visit relatives in Addison TX over the weekend and my kids love to go to Chilis. so we went to the Chilis on Beltline in Addison TX 3 nights in a roll, Friday, Saturaday, Sunday around the evening timeframe. Twice we got waited on by a young black guy, He was very nice, did not know the memu at all, and his uniform shirt and apron had all kinds of food stains and it smelt dirty. But my KIds (tenagers)told me after we left the fist time that the guy eyes were all red and he smelt also of (Weed or Pot)on his clothing. We got the same young black thin tall aroud 6 feet tall said his name was Jerm, again on Sunday so I asked to be moved to a different table with a different waiter. that person was nice and neat and clean. I todl he lady manager and she just said OK and did not ask any questions or anything at all. so needless to say i was not a happey person at all those (2) times i came to this Chilis on Beltline in Addision TX.

You can look into their eyes and all of them are all blood shot. But management does nothing about it at all. this is on a daily basis and management does nothing at all. This place needs to closed now for lack of poor management and very worthless employees.

Well, it WAS one of my favorites, until today. We walked in at 12:05 pm...there was NO HOST to seat us and the restaurant was not busy at all. We waited....and waited....until finally a young lady walked up and just looked at us with an irritated expression. She said nothing but a short "how many?" then walked away with our menus (thank goodness I knew to follow). She seated us and walked off. We looked at menus, decided what we would have, then set them down on the table. Servers walked passed us time and time again, but never acknowledged us at all. This continued for another 15 minutes. One server stops what she is doing to go talk on the phone. After 15 minutes, we just got up and left. One of the servers

Three of those times, I have indicated to tortilla chips on my Santa Fe salad because I was allergic and the server has either thrown more lettece over the chips or have tried to removed them after putting them in, leaving remnants in the salad. Since I don't find this until I either get home and open it or begin to eat it and break out, I am constantly put at risk by their poor food preparation practices. I have reported the store in White Marsh Maryland to the corporate offices to look into their careless practices regarding pts with allergies. Don't go to the White Marsh location.

We as customers saw what happend. She then went to speak to the General Manger there, and she refused to write an incident report or even allow the young lady to go to the ER to make sure she was ok. Everywhere I have worked, whenever there was an accident with one of the employees, the incident was written and the employee was taken to be checked by a physician. Why is this woman not allowing her employee to get checked. That will be the last time I will EVER EAT AT CHILI'S AGAIN. 2. I am having this problem right now. I got a stomach virus last week. Called every single employee and no one would cover. I called in and exlplained, even brought a dr note when I came back, still got written up. And the managers sent out a mass message about "your shifts are your shifts even if you're sick." Sorry but I think throwing up on a guest would be a bigger problem.

  31. Corporate should really look into the restaurant located in Athens Georgia. This was the filthiest restaurant I have ever ate in. Waiters did not know prices. My husband got nachos that had 8 tortillas with a little beans and cheese and melted in microwave for 8 dollars! both our meals were served cold. I ordered 2 Presidente margaritas. First 1 was good second 1 had no alcohol what so ever pure sour mix. These drinks are not cheap. I will never eat at another Chili's. It's very obvious this company is only out to make money off their customers with high prices and very poor food. This is definitely the result of very poor management.

  32. I ate this evening with some friends at the Chili's in Trinity, FLorida on Little Road and State Road 54. Upon first entry I realized they were busy but the dim witted hostess took 5 minutes and a hello in her face from me before she realized I was standing there to put our name on the list. My husaband asked how long the wait was, and we were told 25 minutes. Then we watched everyone come in after us being seated and no one said anything to us. 45 minutes passed and we continued to sit. I talked to the idiot hostess who had another dim witted male hostess helping her that they had 5-10 minutes to seat us, and to go ahead and get the manager for us, but not before seating a younger party that waited all of 15 minutes before us. The Manager came up, and I had to walk up to him and address it with him loudly before he did more than just apologize and realize that I wasn't joking. Needless to say we were finally sat in 5 minutes, the air conditioning on one side of the restaurant was broken, and I'm pregnant so hot and hungry are not a good combo. We had a fabulous server Freddie that helped make it better that his manager and hostess staff has a combined IQ of 50. I have never met a more useless bunch, with very little customer service ability. The hostess needs to be fired and go back to wiping toilets as that is the peak of her ability. I won't be eating there again, as it wasn't my first choice anyway...and now I know why. Please feel free to contact me with any questions LB0480@yahoo.com

  33. I have read many of these comments, and I used to be an employee of chilis, and I will tell anyone and everyone to not dine there ever again! Chilis is an awful place, and they have no respect for anyone who works for them, alot of these comments seem to be about poor service and poor management, and it seems as if it not just one area.. It chilis all around the US. WHAT A JOKE! I was a bartender who really did at one point value and love my job, my bar regulars and myself would say I was a great employee because I did care about my job. Poor service is reflected by poor management, which seems to be the case at most chilis. Chilis conducts whats called MEE surveys, which are My Employee Engagement surverys for the staff to rate their management team so the people higher up can get a feel for how things are going, YOU CANT RUN A RESTAURANT WITHOUT SERVERS/COOKS.BARTENDERS, so why treat them awful?! Anyways to make a long story short there was a "pre-meeting" which was really a lets have management try and coach what is written in these anonymous surveys, and Me along with a few others told someone higher up who was the one conducting the meeting how we felt and what illegal and obscene things went on in our store that made for an uncomfortable work environment.. a few days later we were fired for our opinions and for telling those higher up what goes on, because if we had gotten the chance to fill out these surveys they wouldnt have recieved theyre bonuses.. how ridiculous. Management does not care about the work environment of their employees, only the money that these managers can be making, and its given chilis an awful name, I hope nothing but the worst for this company, its just absolutely ridiculous. I hope you take the time to read this and really see what chilis stands for and is letting go on.....

  35. To Whom It May Concern
Today I visited the Chili's on Broad Street of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. As I walked in the door, I noticed that the store was clearly understaffed, and we would have to wait to get seated. I gave my name and sat down. Not shortly after, a tall, overpowering man walked in with his wife and child. The hostess came over and asked the man his name and told him it would be a short wait. The man then proceeded to make a big scene about his having to wait , and even went as far as to call the hostess the "b" word in front of everyone in the dining room!!! The hostess left the stand and came back with the manager, a name who I later learned was named James Figero. The manager sat this man before the rest of the people who had been waiting longer! After my meal, I came up to the hostess and apologized for the man's actions, and she said the manager also compted his meal!! Does Chili's endorse this behavior? I will never eat at that restaurant again!!!!!!

  36. The Chili's at 410 and 151 in San Antonio Texas has a waitress named "Stefanie" that has stolen several credit card numbers and is part of a credit card fraud group of making fake cards. Purchasing over $500 hae been made with these fake cards. The manager and regional manager were notified and were not only unconcerned but kept this criminal working at the Chili's business! Two banks in San Antonio are moving forward with fraud charges, a police report for the buisness and employee have been filed, and the local news has been notified for an undercover investigation. There is no telling how many customers this business has stolen from. The manager "Phoenix" was loud, rude and defended this waitress that has been identified and robbed from the customers. He is the rudest person in management I have ever seen. WARNING: DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARDS AT CHILI'S!

  37. I am an employee at the middletown, r.i. chili's. I am not sure if corporate is aware of the fact that we (the servers) are treated like trash. If we make a mistake at all they mess with us by taking our shifts away. Many times i have had dissatisfied customers when it came to their food being cold or not cooked to their liking. I have always done what my chili's handbook told me to do and go to a manager so that they can go to the table and deal with the situation. I also always ask the customer if their is something that i can do to make their experience at chili's a better one. Another time i had a man and a woman come in and had 1 presidiente margarita (blkbery) and the man had 3 Dos Equis. When their food arrived at the table everything was fine a few minutes later my partner came up to me and said that my table said their food was cold n that they wanted their check because they wanted to leave i asked my table if they would like me to have the kitchen make them another chicken fajita and they said no they just wanted their check... i then told them that i would have my manager come talk to them so that she could comp the food. When i talked to my manager her name is kari she refused to go talk to the table but did comp the food. my customers then said that they did not have 3 dos equis, just so everyone is aware the only way for us servers to get alcohol from the bar is to punch it in to the computer system which then sends a slip to the bar n then we get the alcohol. I then went n told my manager that this situation was happening, can u beleive this woman said to me tell them to pay whatever they feel they owe, which i really did not want to do that because it was very unprofessional but i did what i was told. The customers left a dollar and later when i was cashing out was told i was responsible for paying the bill. I have never in my life worked for a place this disrespectful and unprofessional. I have worked in the restaurant business all of my life. This chili's is unbelievable. They cater to favortism i almost truly believe that if u don't flirt with the managers u don't get shifts. This is messing with my personal life and is very stressful. I truly don't know what to do, i would love to quit but cant due to the economy. I'm just wondering if corporate reads any of this and if so why have u not done anything to make things better?

  38. I really think there needs to be more cultural diversity in the Chili's in Augusta Ga. For the last 2 years, out of 25 or so servers there is only 2 minorities. Every week I witness well dressed, well spoken, and qualified minorities applying for server positions and never get hired. I thought that these where things you look for in hiring servers. I am 1 of the minority server that works here. I do not want to feel like a token employee when I know there have been qualified minorities applying daily. I am getting fed-up on the count that when I deliver food to a table I'm asked time and time again if i am the cook? What kind of message does this convey. All minorities must be cooks or dishwashers? Please if there is anything you as corporate can do it would make the work environment a better place and the community as a whole. Augusta is a very culturally diverse city but you can not tell it if you go to this Chili's. If nothing is done I will find other avenues to fix this problem.

This is a trashy company but Americans are consumer zombies and don't care as long as you shovel fat, salt, and sugar in their mouths.

  40. Went to the Woodridge,IL Chili's on Tues Oct 23, wife & I both ordered Fajita's and got the 2 for $20.00 combination. When served, the tortillas were right out of the package, cold and soft and doughy. We asked the server to heat them and hopefully cook them a little. 15 minutes later the tortillas came back, hot, but by now all the food was cold. The supposed manager delivers the tortillas, says "Sorry about dat" and walks away, leaving us cold food and hot tortillas, but forgets to bring a cover for the tortilla carrier, so, they get cold faster, the guy never comes back to the table to see if we are satisfied. Same night, we brought in our coupon from a Chili's email for a free appetizer, but the server said that the 2 dinners for $20.00 was a "special offer" and we could not use any coupon with a special offer.
This particular location is going down, used to be a line almost every night & you had to wait for a table, now any night but Sat. you can walk in a get immediate seating. I wonder why? BTW, when I asked if the general manager was available, the greeter pointed to the guy who delivered the tortillas without the cover for their container.

I filled out the survey along with my complaint and no one from Chilli's have bothered to contact me at all. If corporate doesn't care, then I guess we can expect to continue to get bad service.

Over the last few days, I have received a flood of e-mails - purportedly from you - offering me free meals if I'd just click on a link to register. It looks "fishy" (or, "phishy"), so I havent responded. You may want to look into this situation...
However, seeing the complaints listed (above), I beileve that, perhaps, you have bigger fish/phish to fry...

  43. Chili's was one of my favorite restaurants until I had to deal with the General Manager Kim Smith in Ponca City. The last 2 times my family and I have been there we have had a problem with our food (either too cold or the wrong dish, etc) well we asked our server to speak to a manager and it was her both of the times. When she came to address us (Kim), she was very rude and unpolite and she acted like she did not care that my food was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for awhile and my husband ordered one thing and got something completely different. Her exact words were " So do you guys want us to remake them or not? I was very shocked to hear that and we had been there for over an hour already so I said no, but do you think we could get alittle discount and she walked away not saying anything. Right after that we heard her talking about us!! She wasn't even quiet about it and our server brought our ticket to us which we did not get a discount so my husband just paid the bill and we left. My first experience with her was when I came in with some friends and we had a problem with our food and she was also very rude and of course didn't care! She is a horrible manager and I know you guys can find someone way better than her that actually cares about running a restaurant because until then my family and I will not be back and I have friends that agree with this because of their previous experiences at Chili's!

He came in his next schedualed day after that and the manager pulled him aside showed him the previous schedual he had first seen and said he didnt show up those days and they said he quit and already removed him out of the system they said they tried calling several times but theres no record of them calling in his call log. He has 2kids and had no intention of quitting what so ever he has to pay his own rent and pay for food. He shpwed up that day in uniform ready to work... So I orderd black beens which was better. When the manager asked us how was everything, I told her politely what happened, she just gave a phony apology and never offered to amend the bill or, offer a discount on a later visit or anything. So I mentioned upon leaving again that I am not happy, and I probably won't be coming back. The manager had a bad attitute as well, so she finally offered a desert to go. I felt a little better and now may actually return, but I should not have to pull teeth to feel appreciated for spending my money with them and getting bad service and cold food. My bill was $55. It was a real fight to get her to acknowlegde I had poor service, cold food, and a fake apology was unacceptable. This group at Chili's really need more customer training.

  50. Chili’s wonders why they get so many negative comments..Maybe because they treat employees like crap. They take away jobs such as busiers and cut back on the food runners. Being a chilis employee for over 6 years I have witnessed the changes over the years. I am trying to serve a table and at the same time clean a table so that another table can sit down. How is that sanitary? And then get yelled at because I am not fast enough at doing everything else, like making my own dessert now. How does this make any sense? They take away jobs that help clean the restaurant and now the server has to try and do 10 things at once. It’s all about giving good service to your guest, how can I do this when I am already 5 steps behind because we want to limit as many workers as possible so that chilis can make more money. Chilis is messing it up for themselves, many will not come back due to this and of course it is the servers fault. Not to mention, the exchange of mangers coming in and out of our store. I worked so hard for so many years and the way they come in and just treat us like crap is a slap in the face. Also, according to my restaurant in 2013 we will no longer be allowed to pick up shift if you do not have GEM( which is positive comments from guest). So if someone is sick and I want to pick up their shift, I Can’t? Is this a Cooperate thing or just my stores rule? I would really like some feedback on this. I use to love my job and now I have to find a new one because I have unhappy guest due to the service and the negative harassment from my managers.

  51. I recently visited Chilis in Carrollton Texas. I order the Cajun chicken pasta. When I received it it had a black hair in it. I ask for another one and then when I got that one it also had a hair in. After all that the manager came to me and asked if I was ok and when I got the bill I still had to pay for the chicken???? This is very upsetting to me. That I would have to pay for something I couldn’t eat. After the second time I did not want another one. I did tell the Manager I was fine, but if I had known I was going to have to pay for something I couldn’t eat I would have made a fuss. My son was with me and didn’t want to embarrass him so I left. I’m wondering if this is how you treat your customers? Since we are not the ones who cook it we shouldn’t have to pay for something that Cleary isn’t our fault to being with.

  52. I tried to call your corporate office but it is closed for the holiday. I visited the Chilis restaurant in Millington, TN less than hour ago. I placed a carry out order and I stopped there to get the food. When I got home, I did not have the soup I had ordered, the side orders were substituted for a bean salsa without asking and I did not receive a receipt. I did receive a gift card receipt for each individual gift card that I used to purchase the food with. I did not want the ice-cream that was a part of the dessert however it also was in my bag when I pulled out the contents of the bag. I called back and spoke with the manager, Jamie, she sounded very young and nonprofessional. She apollogized with no emotion as if it were a pat answer to give and offered me free food. I did not want the food, only my order to be correct. The employees are not listening nor following through on customer service. I am very disappointed and will try with all my mite to stay away from this restaurant. It has been my observation the ball is dropped on the main item, many other things are being short changed.

  53. I don't usually complain about service or food. However, my recent trip to Chili's of Humble, Tx needs addressing. My husband and I had just retrieved our daughter from the Houston airport when we decided to stop at Chili's for a quick meal and a catch up with our daughter approximately 7:30 on January 3, 2013. We had just finished our soap when my husband began to have a nosebleed. We grabbed more napkins but realized this was no ordinary nosebleed and went to the restroom. The staff did block the men's restroom as my husband was gushing blood from both sides of his nostrils. This was now a medical emergency. No one entered to help me. I told the staff we needed our meals to go and that we would need to go to the emergency room. The staff told me there was one across the street. I went back to my husband who was now struggling. I was holding napkins as blood poured into the sink. I told my husband to get ready because we were going across the street. My daughter took my husband to the car. The staff did not have our food ready, but did have my bill. I paid for food and drinks we did not get. The manager told me he would put the food in a warmer and I could come back and get it. We took my husband over to the emergency room where the doctor told me my husband's blood sugar had dropped, and that food was a good idea for both his blood sugar and the fact that so much blood probably was in his stomache. I went back to Chili's to retrieve my food.---no warmer in fact the staff told me that it was probably cold. They did not offer to provide new food or bring it across the street. To be honest, they did not even ask how we were doing. I am appauled at the lack of compassion and concern that the staff provided. Facing a medical emergency my daughter and I were obviously upset, and no one showed any concern. Business and customer service is more than bringing food--it is caring about others.

While sitting eating a late lunch a couple weeks ago I over hear this little short girl pushing a co-worker around telling her to move with an attitude. Thats not how you should be talking to co worker. In addition I hear the waitress's talking and herd one telling another when the last time was that she got laid. Thats not something you want to hear in a family resturant. If those managers keep these workers they are crazy. If you can't talk right and get along with co workers with out having an attitude then you should not be working with the public at all.

At least 12 people on staff and there wasn't a clean glass or piece of silverware in the restaurant. Every surface in the place was covered with a thick layer of grease and grime. Stains on the ceiling too! How do you get stains on the ceiling? I could have found better food in an alley dumpster than inside that dump. You could go in there, not order any food and come out dirtier than you wnt in. I'll never ever return to any chilis restaurant or any establishment that is owned by Brinker International.

This restaurant has gone to trash and I don't think that the company should continue to keep this place open. The management is horrible, they don't know how to talk to the guest. There are roaches in the restaurant and i have had hair in my food several times the resent or recooked food i got was delivered either cold or they got my order wrong, I got up and walked out, I understand it was not my servers fault it was the cooks and the manager at this point did not even bother to come talk to me, therefore I sure did walk out. NOT only was it our waiter messing up all the other employees were also apologizing to there customers also and they weren't even crowded. I am never going to that chilies again.

  69. Hi I'm an employee of Chilis. I ate dinner at my Chilis recently, the morning after I had terrible rashes on my legs in perfect lines where my legs touched the wood in the booth. I have since shown my general manager and district manager. My doctor said it was a reaction to a cleaning product. I looked into it further and the rashes I have are indicative of exposure to a very strong degreaser ; corexit. A corporate manager has since come in and investigated and now we have ecolab cleaning out restaurant. I feel like its very hush hush and I'm worried that if I make a big deal that I might lose my shifts. I would like to know what the hell has come of the investigations and what I was exposed to because no one is telling me anything. I'm out of pocket and can't wear shorts for a while so its definitely affecting my life. You will be hearing from me soon.

  70. Hello, I am posting this because I am very strong believer in our US Veterans and my son is one and is currently working at Chilis in Mo. They knew when they hired him he would miss one weekend out of the month due to him being in the reserves. This month he told one of his manager what weeekend he would be gone, well the information did not make it to other manager, which told my son he would not have any hours this week until he hears from that manager. The manager is saying my son did a no call no show and he could be fired. I asked my son why doesn't the manager call the other one to find out instead of making him sit at home and not make any money. The manager that my son told will be in today this Wednesday hopefully everything will be cleared up, but this poor management which corporate needs to look into Chilis in Chesterfield Mo.

  71. Last Wednesday evening we arrived at Chili's on Lee Trevino in El Paso at precisely 10:00 pm and were promptly seated. Our server came to get our drink orders at which time I also ordered an appetizer - skillet queso. It took some time to get drink orders. By 10:20,our appetizer had not yet arrived and I reminded our server that I had indeed ordered the skillet queso - he indicated that he had forgotten
and went to get it after he took our entre order. At this point I should mention that my sister wanted to order soup and was not able to because the kitchen had already thrown the soup out. Apparently the same is true for the flavored tea as my sister ordered blackberry tea. The tea mysteriously ran out after the first glass because when she
ordered a refill, she got regular tea instead. Shortly thereafter, he returned to the table to let us know that the kitchen had closed and commented "so if you're wanting any dessert or anything like that, it won't be possible." I looked at my watch after he said this because I wanted to see if it was 11:00 - the time this restaurant closes. Well, it was not 11, in fact it was just 10:30. Soon after, the staff began closing up the sections and doing their side work. We were subjected to the very noisy slamming of chairs and dragging of tables and otherwise very noisy distractions during the remainder of our dinner. It was made very obvious by the staff that we were not welcome. When the appetizer finally arrived at the table it had a film on it that was pretty disgusting. Additionally, the chips which
accompanied this starter were soggy and saturated with grease. When a member of my party commented to the server, he became seemingly agitated with us and told us that "things were limited due to the late hour and the closing of the kitchen but he would do what he could to bring better chips which he did do. When he brought the chips he asked if these were better and continued to badger us with the same remarks about the time. At this point I told him that we would have gladly gone elsewhere had someone told us when we arrived that we could not be served equitably and properly. Again, more excuses and more badgering. At one point through our meal, the server commented
"some of us are trying to get out of here while you have your good meal." I then retorted that I really didn't care about the hour. Their hours are posted as being open until 11 and I expected the same service as everyone else, particularly since I will be paying the same prices as everyone else. He responded by telling me not to worry
about him or anyone else. I told him I wouldn't and then proceeded to rush my family and friend through their dinner as it was becoming increasingly apparent that we were no longer welcome. The total on my bill (#10062; personal code OYFG 5Q3Z 59UE) was $45.45. I left the server a $10.00 tip for all the trouble which is not unusual for me as I generally always leave at least 20%. When we left, no one greeted us - we were simply ignored. It was as if everyone was telling us not to let the door hit us on the way out. My friend left her keys on the table which the server ran out to give us, only to give us one last hateful sneer.
This is not the first time I have had trouble like this at this Chili's. It seems somewhat clear to me that there is a very severe management problem here. I suppose I should have complained to the manager right then and there but I really didn't want to add any additional fuel to what was already a very volatile situation. I have always enjoyed Chili's and have often chosen it above many other alternatives because I have always regarded this restaurant
chain to be better than most. After this experience, I will be very reluctant to return and I most definitely will not be recommending to anyone that they eat there - most certainly not the location at Lee Trevino.

    1. I wouldn't suggest walking into ANY restaurant thirty minutes or so before they close. Doesn't matter what restaurant or what city you live in. The food is going to either be prepared in a rush or you're going to get what ever is left over and reheated. I'm not suggesting that its ok that restaurants do that, I'm just letting you know what to expect. The servers are only paid about $2.50 an hour plus tips. When the restaurant is closing, the "side work" that management makes the servers complete before going home, it usually takes two hours or more. That's after an 8 hour shift and without any tips. Most servers will bust their butt's to get the side work done because no one in their right mind wants to slave all night for $2 dollars an hour. The money earned goes straight to taxes. Add all of that up and you have a recipe for disaster. I wish every single American citizen were required to work a position in such they serve the public for at least 90 days. It should be mandatory. That way everyone can see and experience for themselves what it feels like to work like a dog, get little pay, and get hassled by the public. It would change people's perspective for sure. Again, I'm not saying that you or your family deserved to be treated poorly. Not at all, Chili's has to change their management nation wide or close up shop. It's a disaster

    2. Thank you! Nobody understands a restaurant employees pain. They think we make so much money for little work. It's a back breaking job. Yes my job is to serve you but treat me with respect during my service.

    3. Also , and I am saying this as a chilis employee, we are supposed to have our sidework done within 30 minutes of our shift ending. So if that restaurant locks the doors at 11, we are expected to have everything cleaned, stocked, and shut down and be clocked out by 11:30. Which is near impossible, especially if you still have a table

  72. You guys email me coupons over and over. I go to your restaurant all the time and never have an issue. Chilis was my favorite restaurant up until today when I witnessed horrible customer service at your location in the jersey gardens mall in New Jersey. I gave the cashier my bday coupon for free dessert with the 2 full adult entrees I bought and he told me I needed to print it out. I told and showed him how it clearly says on coupon you can either print it out or show it on your phone. He kept yelling me no. Then the manager who claims her name is elda arrived with a face and body language lacking zero professionalism tells me that it's because the coupon is not in their system. I told her just to enter in like every other Chilis I've ever been to. She refused and kept looking at the floor when she spoke. I am so upset that I drove all the way from New York which has no Chilis to New Jersey or this!

Have you General Managers and managers trained properly make sure that they relaize Attiitude in evertyhing they do is important not only for themselves but for the company. staff need to be trained in cleaniness if they are not willing to serve and be in a clean envrionment then they should not work in the industry, We all have bad days ..but i refuse to believe that thaey all had a bad day!!

  74. My family and I have had dozens of family meals at chili's restuarants across the country for years growing up. I really wanted to become appart of what I thought was really a family by becoming a member of this organization and told my friends about the job application I dropped off and when I did they told me some of the HORRIFIC things that I thought was just made up and didn't believe them all taking place within the last 8 months things just as bugs on the table, Server's/Host calling their customers racial slurs, food poisoning and purposely contaminating etc. I brushed ALL that off NOT BELIEVING A WORD and went into my first interview. Things worked out great there and wanted me for an additional interview. This time however I went in waiting for my next interview with another girl and she recieved the green light as for me, a Manager (I don't know his name but he is a white bald guy looking to be in his 40s-50s) called me over to the nearest table and immediately after we sit gives me a huge stare and he tells me that they are NOT hiring servers. I was very disappointed but I was somewhat skeptical for about an hour after I left the second interview thinking back 2 days to when I called and asked if they were hiring for positions and the manager I spoke to WITHOUT HESITATING said that THEY WERE HIRING ALL POSITIONS!! So thinking about this for a hour after the rejection, I call back ANONYMOUSLY and ask again to see if what I was told was actually the truth and it WAS NOT!! THERE ARE HIRING AND ELECTED TO LIE TO ME!!!! When I confronted them on the Phone about it, they elected to HANG UP ON ME!!!!!! Taking account of EVERYTHING that happened I WITHOUT A DOUBT believe my sources were accurated about the accusations they made to this restuarant and it is just SICKENING!!!!! I DID NOT hesitate to inform my family of this event and are just as shocked and flustered as I am and will NEVER eat at ANY Chili's establishment EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I would of LOVED to call Corporate right after this happened however the office was closed off but you can bet your ass that I WILL call tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind as well as the business that my family and I had with this organization has been TERMINATED!!! I would post my comment with a name but its a major hassle, My name is Ryan, email address is rynharrell@yahoo.com and I'm NOT shy AT ALL about posting out this information!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  76. Good evening. I visited you store in fairview heights IL today 3/15/2013 for dinner. I had the best service to date there. Her name was Stephanie and she was amazing. I usually only have decent service there. Nothing to really commend. But tonight, this woman was awesome! Not once did she walk by our table and not say anything. We never had to ask for a refill or anything at all. Friendly, smiling, kind, just the best service I have had since my trip to red lobster last April. I never complain, people do that enough, but I always talk to a manager when I have excellent service and I did just that tonight. Its not often you get great service. So I had to tell you. I will be writing a letter also to go along with this. Thank you for reading :-)

I'm here to mention that you failed to mention in your Happy Hour menu that your burger bites had bacon on them. I practice kosher eating style and when I mentioned that I didn't want cheese on my burger because I was kosher that would have been the time to mention that the burger had bacon bits on it! This detail was not on the menu and now I have eaten pork products which is against my style of eating. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed that even your manager didn't know how to handle. You should be ashamed!!

  81. On a recent visit to Chilis in Shakopee, MN my two girlfriends and I, who have quit smoking and taken up vaping instead, were told my the manager there that we could not tape in their restaurant as it was considered a drug transferring device and bad for the children to see.
Now....this tells me that its ok for the children to come to their restaurant and watch their patents drink and then get in the car with them for the ride home.
It also tells me they would not allow other drug transferring devices such as an epic pin, an inhaler, an insulin needle or even taking a pill by hand. Hmmmm......something truly wrong with this pic.
Needless to say....we finished our drinks we had and left and will not be eating at that Chilis or any other again. Btw.....we have been to many restaurants and bars that do allo us to vape .....this was a first.

  83. Let me just start off by saying it infuriates me that almost all of the comments posted on here is about Chili's Managers. My daughter called me after working a lunch shift and was very upset actually crying.I will explain, this is her very first job as a waitress, had absolutely NO prior experience,Management new this from day one.She got hired. Now its time for training, after 3 training shifts, one of which she was sent home after 10 minutes of being there ,they said"ok,your ready to wait on tables"!.Me being in the restaurant business for 17 years, employed at 1 restaurant for 14 of it,thought ,WHAT!! NO WAY!!..WOW!Alot of negative things have happened of course(Welcome to the restaurant business) but her last shift has me FURIOUS!!! When someone ordered something off the menu and she didnt know exactly what it was or how to get it ready, she was on lunch,no Expo to get it ready for her and she asks the on duty "so called" Manager,he flips out and responds with "Are you fucking kidding me" and then Jesus F**king Christ ,and then picks up a plate and tosses it out of anger to the point it breaks.Screams at her,in her face BASICALLY FOR NOT GETTING THE PROPER TRAINING!! Its not right and I can tell you that it is VERY ILLEGAL to speak to an employee that way..This is just one occasion. There are many more.If this is the way you allow your managers to treat other employees this franchise should be SHUT DOWN.So you have these "Managers" who are supposed to be leading by example and setting the example, guess what happens to employees who are taught this way, they become horrible servers and pieces of shit! Good Job picking out your Managers!!Needless to say,I told her to quit and she will be seeking legal advice.

  84. On Fri, March 29, 2013, I entered 4784 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, Ga with a party of 18 at 9:45p. We were told by the hostess (Kate) that there would be a 45min wait due to the size of our party and there were people in the two sections they usually seat large parties. At 10:20p, the party of 3 occupying one of the sections paid their tab and continued to sit n chat. At 10:45p, a gentlemen in my party asked the Kate how much longer because it has been over 45min. She informed us that as soon as they clear the table with the party of 3, we can sit. We suggested they politely ask the 3 people to move over to the next table as a courtesy because they were finished for about 30min and they were in the 5 table space that we needed. Kate said, "I am not allowed to do that but if you want to kindly ask them to, you can" Another gentlemen in our party went over to the party of 3 and politely excused himself and asked if they were finished would it be ok if they moved to the table behind them because we had a party of 18 with women n children and this table is a part of the 4 empty tables for our party. We then wanted to speak to the manager to see if maybe there was another section ready because it has now been almost an hour and the restaurant was near empty but not the 2 sections they said we would possibly sit. Kate went to call over the manager. The manager, Bill Mitchell, came over with a defensive posture (no smile, arms crossed, etc) without even speaking to any of us. As a gentlemen in our party explained to Mr. Mitchell the situation, he answered, replied, responded to everything with an attitude. I finally came to address the situation to ask why did he seem so stand offish during the conversation and he stated he thought it was rude of someone in our party to go over and talk to the other guest. We then explained we would have never done that but Kate told us that she was not allowed to do that so we could try to talk to the party of 3 to see if they would switch tables. Mr. Mitchell said that is not the policy and then handed us a Phone Ahead Wait List Card. I asked what is that going to do now that we have already waited an hour for a table that we were told was only going to be 45min? He said that is just an estimated time anyway. A gentlemen in our party then suggested just squeezing us into the 4 available tables since it has already been an hour and Mr. Mitchell said he cannot seat us until the party of 3 clears the 5th table. We insisted we did not mind all fitting in the available tables He said he will not do that. I stated that I was shocked at the service we were receiving because I have eaten at Chili's in many different cities and states it has never been like this. I said as a business owner to a business manager, I am taken back that he would not try to remedy the situation to satisfy all parties and provide the customer service that Chili's pride themselves on.
As stated earlier, we understood that there would be a wait for our party but many critical errors were made on behalf of Chili's. 1. Kate should have never suggested we go speak to the guest. Things could have went so many different ways. 2. The manager already had a defensive, stand off attitude before even introducing himself. He did not say Hello nor how can he be in service. al he said was "Yes" with his arms crossed the entire conversation (except to give us a card). 3. When we suggested just letting us use the available table he said no he can not do that. This showed that he was refusing to serve us and he was not willing to satisfy our party. 4. I called the general manager, Ryan Hodgins as the conversation was taking place in the restaurant and a message was taken by the receptionist. To this day, there was no follow up to that call.
Customer Service is the root of any business' survival and the customer service at the location referenced above gets an F-.
As much as I love to eat out at Chili's, this experience has really altered my perception about the Brand.

  85. Well, My daughter for her birthday chose to eat at Chili's after school with five of her friends. It turned out to be a very bad decision.

The waitress was rude and incompetent. Aside from her blatantly rude attitude she could not seem to get the order correct. It took three attempts to serve them for her to finally get it right. She chose to yell out who had this who had that rather than the conventional method of actually serving the customer. One classy restaurant they operate.

When she finally did get the food and beverage orders correct and get them to the table the presentation of the dishes looked like something they could have had thrown on a plate at the school cafeteria. Her order was not even edible, her sides were about one spoonful of each. I guess rice futures must have gone sky high this week.

After all had been thoroughly disappointed and disgusted by the food and the service they were made to wait over 25 minutes for the check in an almost empty room. Upon recite they realized the gratuity had already been applied to the bill.

To be sure, if I were running that establishment I would not leave it up to the customer either. Given the experience in total they'd better get what they can while they've got the victim in custody.

Rest assures that is the last cent they will ever have the opportunity to fleece from those kids. Chili's makes McDonald's look like a four star sit down.

If Brinker International is traded on the market, short it. It will be a no brainier. Money in the bank.

  86. On April 10, 2013 my husband and I went to Chili's for dinner on Ford Road and Southfield after attending a meeting at Greenfield Village. The hostess seated us in our booth. After that, the waitress came and took our drink orders. A few minutes later she returned with our drinks to the table. Here is the ironic part after, bringing our drinks to us at the table; she never came back to take our order for appetizers or entrees. After about 15 minutes of waiting my husband said we were going to give her 5 more minutes and then we are going to leave. Well she never returned; when we were getting up to leave she glanced over at us and commented oh ya cannot hang. Needless to say we were thoroughly disappointed with this Chili's customer service
We will never dine at this Chili's location again.

  87. Please ask corporate to allow the help to clean the place. Restroom was unacceptable. Our table and the menus were greasy to the touch. Patrons (with feet up on the booth) appeared to be locals, as this was allowed. Manager (Charlie) was called over when I asked for a CLEAN salt shaker that would actually let the salt out. He said "my boss makes me turn down the A/C at night, that's why the salt wouldn't come out." When asked why my food was COLD at 1:35 in the afternoon, he said "I'll take care of that for you." Twenty minutes later, HE delivered my sliders stating "I stole them from that other customer over there." Charlie admitted "some of the food is frozen", when asked. The restaurant was not crowded, (the snow birds had flown north) so I guess he ALLOWS his wait staff to delay serving customer's FOOD until it is cold. Not a nice touch to watch them carry food on their shoulder (next to their hair) without a net either. My brother ate his lunch that had wilted lettuce, his chicken tasted as if it was cooked in old strained grease as did my fries. Some or all of the employees NEED to be re-trained. Stop making excuses for over-priced cold food that does not taste FRESH or should I say "NOT SAFE"? STOP MAKING EXCUSES, GET IT TOGETHER CHILLIES and we MIGHT not tell others of our terrible experience. THERE IS JUST NO EXCUSE FOR UNSAFE FOOD!

UPDATE: A District Manager contacted me and gave excellent LIP SERVICE stating how sorry he was for things going the way they did. I explained that it can't be fixed if you don't know it's broke! To compensate me for my troubles he insisted on sending me "a pass" coupon or something to that effect. I said that was not necessary, however he asked for my address and wanted me to try again and let him know. Well you wouldn't believe how long ago that was and guess what?

NO RESPONSE FROM HIM, THE RESTAURANT MANAGER OR CORPORATE

I highly recommend NOT eating at this Chili's unless you have really good health insurance. Let's see if they will contact me again with another fairy tale,

  90. On April 25th 2013 at 5:42 p.m. My 2 friends and i went to Chili's grill & bar Valencia #1095 at 1604 west Valencia road Tucson Az. When we enter the rest. there were 2 people just standing there looking like hostess. When we asked for a table they told us the only place was the bar. But there were tables on the other side of the rest. The only thing were doing was texting and chatting on the phone , watching football on tv .. There was a guy in a blue shirt we figured he might be the manager , but he was to busy watching football too. We figured that is why all the chili's seem to be going out of business. because they don't care about there customers .. the only good thing about chili's was the waitress and she was so busy covering all the tables in the bar. That we didn't dare complain about the food being cold because we might not have ever see her again .Is it not the job of the manager to go around and check on the customers instead of watching football and bullshiting with the so called hostresses.. I would highly recommend going to one of the 7 other rests. in the area .thank you for bad night ..steveg@gmail.com

After talking to the manager I was told Chili's considers 5 rib's not 6 as every other rest.
    does.
This is a Chili's I would go with my wife at least 2-3 times a month.

  92. Chili's in Tallahassee, Florida, located at 719 Apalachee Pkwy should no longer be patronized. This evening, my 16 year old, well mannered, honor roll, honors student (gpa of 4.21) daughter, was demeaned, embarrassed, cursed at, and sexually harassed by manager Darius Mount. Mr. Mount, called some of the young ladies, "hey lil momma" and used profanity in his discussions with them. When my daughter tried to defend her 15 year old friend who had a complaint about her service, he called my daughter a spoiled brat. (I believe it is because she was articulate and was not exhibiting ignorant, loud behavior like Mr. Mount was showing). The wait staff, Chanel, continued to apologize for his behavior and said that he does this all the time and continues to get in trouble for it. When my daughter called me during the incident, I told her to leave the restaurant. He then yelled at her and said "get your momma, I will kick both of yalls *sses". I am fully aware that a person in authority (Manager) should not threaten minors the way Darius Mount did.

My daughter and her friends made contact with several patrons that were at the restaurant sitting near them and witnessed the incident. They all agreed that Mr. Mount was totally inappropriate and they felt bad that he was a professional, harassing a few teenagers. One suggested that my daughter should call her parents immediately because she said the teens were all so well behaved during the dinner.

I must say that the behavior that has been confirmed by many, should not be tolerated and the fact that he tried to pick up/flirt with 2 of the teens will be reported to law enforcement. I felt strongly that the corporate office should be notified of his behavior and the impending contact we will be making with your legal department. Tallahassee is a college town (2 large universities & 2 large community colleges/technical schools), but it is also the home of many corporations, city government, state government and large hospitals. Many people at the restaurant that night are committed to making sure all of these organizations understand the type of behavior that is being allowed to take place on a regular basis at the Chili’s located on Apalachee Pkwy. I suggest that someone complete a performance evaluation on Darius Mount and include peer interviews with the staff that work with him. Many, many people will be made aware of this incident and without proper acknowledgment, to include an apology, the word will quickly spread that chili’s appears to support sexual harassment, bullying and intimidation in their management staff. Not something that looks too good in the Newspapers.

  94. This complaint is regarding my last visit to your Chilis located in East Hanover, New Jersey. Your main hostess, (probably in her teens with long curly blonde hair). Seemed to more than ever cross the line with my husband. Everytime I go out to eat with my husband at that chilis, she is constantly trying to flirt with him and obviously she has no respect because she continues to do it in front of me, his wife. This Sunday when we came again to your restaurant. She made absolutely no eye contact with me, then proceeded to wink at my husband and wave continuously across the restaurant while we were eating. This girl has absolutely NO RESPECT. Therefore, I am reporting her to your headquarters. Please take action or fire this girl because at this point I consider her a tramp for continuously trying to get with my husband in front of me and showing absolutely zero respect when it comes to other people's relationships and married men. I thought this was a restaurant, not a whore-house

This is complaint that at one of your Chili's establishments in LakeWorth, TX. There is a young lady, named, Gionela McRoberts training to be a manager. She has had her son in there rolling silverware as part of punishmnt and this cild is only thirteen. The Federal Labor Laws are quite clear - She and your establishment, Chili's is in violation of this Labor Law. This woman needs to be let go due to her lack of responsibility and the example she is setting for her child and her co-workers not too mention how aweful this looks for Chili's franchise.

    Thank you,

  96. Chilis at miami gardens, fl 33169. We normally eat at this chilis all the time and this time we had an unsatisfactory encounter with one of the managers. We wanted to combine our checks so that our card would be swiped only once. The first manager failed to do so and the second manager, Ray spent his time mocking our server Mona instead of resolving our request. Mona works very hard at what she does and i didnt appreciate how this manager, Ray handled the situation. It took almost 40 min to resolve the problem and we asked to seea manager 3 times before he actually spoke to us. I dont find this manager Ray to be very professional and he seems to be rude to the staff. Mona is a great server and she tried very hard to fulfill our request despite how busy the bar was. I really think you should look into hiring managers with customer service. There was nothing humble about this manager, Ray.

  97. My husband 2 year old daughter and I went to chilis in benton arkansas, we USED to go there all the time. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. We order our food, my daughters burger was as dry as sand so I sent it back. I got fajitas and as I was making my fajita tacos I go to grab the cheese and its MOLDY! I stop eating and ask for the manager, he comes over and I explain and he has the nerve to say to me that they dont serve moldy cheese. I show him the cheese and he said they dont serve moldy cheese again. I was like really? Its right here in my hand, it came from ur kitchen. Duh! He asked if I wanted more and I told him not thats gross and I definitely was not going to endanger my baby. He asked if I wanted to take it home and I was like no are u crazy?! I told him I wasnt paying for it and that he needed to fix it, he offered me a dessert. I told him I wasnt gonna pay for anything unless he comped my food that was moldy and I couldnt even eat. He FINALLY gave in after arguing with me.

Also on this trip there was food and trash all over the floor and food u could SCRAPE out of the table grout! Gross and very unsanitary. We also always get the chicken enchilada soup but this round we had tasted waaaaay off and it was really liquidy so im pretty sure it was old and watered down, we sent that back too.

We havent been back for a long time and ive read the reviews for that particular restaurant and theyre bad and there is hardly anyone eating there.

Corporate needs to get in there and clean in up and get rid of that staff and manager. Its a health hazard!

  98. (BRIAN HALLIGAN BAYOU BLVD PENSACOLA FL)
I just want to say I have been eating lunch at chilis everyday, if not more. I am an executive with AIG financial and I was at ahh today! First of all, the manager BRIAN HALLIGAN was the worst and most disrespectful manager I have ever seen! I come to this location normally on lunch and occasional after hours for the family environment and drink specials. Today however was different, I play in a kickball tournament locally so I didn't ware my business attire as usual so the staff was disrespectful and actually charged me a higher rate. I asked for the manager and explained the circumstances how I have been overcharged for the drinks, as I know it's two for one because I come very frequently. Brian Halligan was the manager in charge and came out to assist in the matter, or so I thought. I do not know if he had personal issues going on that day that hindered his ability to be a responsible manager an listen to the customer, but soon it was a apparent! I told him about the over charge of two drinks for a total of $22. Keep in mind we already bought and paid for 6 drinks that was considerable less!! The manager(Brian Halligan), who was the most unprofessional, rudest manager I have ever seen, said well if you were charged a different rate on your previous encounters then the other bartender must of been robbing you and the company(which I provided him her name). I explained how this was my favorite location and all of my colleagues come to this location. Unfortunately, I was dressed in my kickball clothes and not wearing a suit in tie as usual. I told him that I would be happy to return the drinks since I didn't believe the cost was very cost effective, considering I could receive 8 regular drinks or more for the same cost every other day I came. I just wanted to inform you that the manager in charge has ruined this location for me. As far as business meeting with the clients, I will never refer this as a meeting location again. I will never recommend my kickball team to ever eat or drink here again after our games! I will never invite friends to this location again, or invite my significant other and her friends to this location again! I know I was not in my business attire(since I just had a kickball game)but it was very degrading to be spoke to like my business at this establishment was not important. He was happy to say the other waitress must of robbed the company so my opinion seemed irreverent. Actually, the monetary value is unimportant. I can always find another location to service my clients, my kickball team, my colleagues, my investors, or anybody else that I advise about Chilies and their discriminatory actions based stickily on my dressing, which must have been below standards for BRIAN HALLIGAN! I just wanted to let corporate know about this tyrant that is running the PENSACOLA, FLORIDA BAYOU BLVD. LOCATION!! Unfortunately, this has ruined a place to contract business for me and I thought it would be valuable information the corporate office needs to know to be able to sustain business over the long run. I love Chilis and hate that it has been ruined for me by a small uneducated excuse for a manger. As I am sure to believe, if my business was lost due to his spiteful tongue, that there has been a lot of other revenue lost. For the future of your business, I hope that all ties will be severed with BRIAN HALLIGAN and reorder will be reestablished at one of my, used to be, favorite locations! Thanks in this matter!

  100. We have gone to Chili's many times over the years with no issues and good food. We've loved the fajitas. Our last experiences were so bad we've decided never to go there again. After the first time we thought to try it again-bad day. We went back for a special event. The waitresss was very short and borderline rude and could barely be bothered to do much even though the restaurant was not busy. We sat there for ever without being served. Once again the restaurant was not busy and she didn't seem to be doing much. The manager helped out delivering the food. The plate for my son was flipped over onto the table snd part of it landed on the menu. While the main course was replaced (after everyone else was done with their food) my son was left to eat the rest off the menu with no replacement for that portion of the meal we paid for and we had to clean up the majority of the mess that was made. No help with that. The service was just plain awful and then charged for it. Although we often overtip for the service we have gotten I didn't feel like even leaving the tip this time but left the bare minimum. Just thoroughly disgusted with the experience. Wish the place could be closed down. Not the same Chili's anymore.

  101. What kind of crap are you selling to the public? Recently I bought Chili"s top sirloin beef steaks at Walmart. These are not true sirloin steaks but some sort of mystery meat. The instructions say grill 4-5 min/side, it took 10 min/side. Secondly, the texture was weird, not like a true sirloin steak but some thing else. I have grilled numerous top sirloin steaks in the past and never had anything like this. I have already notified Walmart to stop selling these things and I am about ready to start an email campaign to notify people about this crap{I use the term crap because it is not real meat}.

  102. Extract Hot and Spice boneless nuggets, which would play this joke but Fire wheel Chilies Restoration (8:45) with an order of an old timer. SHUT IT DOWN
    Dear Sir;
I am very upset with my meal that was ordered. The Boneless nuggets were so hot until I had to go to the doctor due to my stomach.
I understand it was nothing but laughter in the kitchen. The person that waited did not correct the problem when I explain how hot the food was.
The Meat was dripping in sauce. I was not told that it was two different types of boneless nuggets.
After I complained how hot the meal was she just explain she was sorry but it another kind of boneless nuggets. My stomach was upset and I told her that I needed bread or something due to the heat of the meat.
After she gives me my meal she went to the kitchen and I understand it was laughter all around. But after today this place will be shut down.
This establishment has a great hate for Blacks but after today we will find out who will get the last laughter.
The server went to the back and stated about 10 minutes before she checked me out. But I understand that the joke was on me.
If my stomach does not heal then your company will have a problem.

  105. I visited Chili's Grill & Bar #1428 in Moreno Valley, CA. I was totally discriminated against and I felt the manager Jeri Carmichael, nor the seating host of the evening Courtney had any remorse in the matter. I was directed to voice my concern to you.

My experience occur ed when I walked into the restaurant to obtain a table for 2 and a child. When I walked in the host Courtney asked how many was in my party, I told her, and she said let me wipe down a table and I'll be right back. I simply said okay, I sat in the waiting area for maybe 3/4 minutes. During my wait a Caucasian couple walked in, as soon as they walked in Courtney came back, greeted the couple, grabbed menus and started to escort them to my table. When I stood up, she asked, "Oh, would you like for me to seat you first?" I didn't want to make a scene to I told her go ahead and seat the couple. Once she came back from giving the couple the table she wiped down for my party, she said I'm so sorry, did you want me to seat you..? I was confused of why she seated them first. I then waited again for another table to be prepared and was finally seated. I ate dinner and my server Alexis was helpful. I later asked if I could speak to the manager in regards to this experience. That's when Jeri came over to the table. I told her what had happened when I first walked in. She really didn't offer any sympathy to the matter and was actually was a bit cold. When I asked what was the policy when seating patrons, she gave no answer. She stated she would talk to Courtney, which gave me no comfort in the matter. I was not satisfied with that response. I asked if she would talk to her at that moment to see why she did that to me, she declined. I wanted assurance that she was not discriminating against me. The manager didn't offer anything, not even a dessert or a discount for the negative experience. Nothing more that an unsympathetic sorry. She actually was so rude, I asked for the corporate office contact information. She walked away, then returned with your business card. Adding insult to injury she then felt the need to express the fact that you were African American... I felt that was totally unnecessary information to the matter. Especially since I am a Belizean-American (central American) I do have brown skin and curly hair and look very much African American. This really assured me that I was not hallucinating. I was being discriminated against, in my own neighborhood. I told her she could have offered some type of sympathy in regards to this experience. I told her I could file a discrimination law suit against the restraunt and would win if they ran the video tape from this night. With attitude she walked away, and started cleaning tables... I visit that particular Chili's often because it is in my area, but unsure how comfortable I would be in returning after this experience.

I am asking what is your policy on seating patrons? Is it first come first serve?? And I also want to know what do you feel is adequate compensation for this experience? I appreciate your time and I hope both the manager Jeri and your seating host Courtney are both educated on proper customer service and hopefully some type of disciplinary action will take place. I am confident you will respond to this matter timely. Thank you!

  106. I stopped for lunch at Chili's in Carson California today with my boyfriend. This was one of the worst experiences ever. When our appetizer came the server took my ice tea for a refill and never returned until after the appetizer was finished. We then waited 49 minutes for our Entree's. When they arrived they were luke warm, really almost cold. The server never came to check on us. Finally I caught her eye and asked for a check. We waited and waited and it was very clear she had a problem and not the problem of being to busy. I got up and asked for the Manager, Maria, I explained what happened. She said she would take care of it and when she brought the check she only took off $9.00 when she could see my plate was not eaten. My boyfriend left a twenty and we left. Your Carsen location needs serious customer training management.

  107. Reading these comments are interesting since there are so many over a long period of time. Does anyone at Chili's read these and take action?

Our biggest complaint are screaming kids in the bar area. The bar is for DRINKING and hanging out with buds watching the ball game and talking a bit too loud. The dinning room is for families with kids. Put a 21 and over sign at the entrance and keep the kids out!

Bring back the Shiner Bock Rib sauce, my half rack of ribs were dry, overcooked and mostly meat was burnt off. What in the world is happening to Chili's quality of food and service. You guys need to step it up or you will be losing a lot of business.

Everyone with one exception had food particles on it. Don't they wash their silverware in hot soapy water? It was disgusting. Someone in authority should check this out. We will try the place one more time in the future but if the silverware turns out to be the same, we will walk out whether we ordered or not. I wonder if the dishes were in the same disgusting condition! Wonder what the kitchen is like. If we find dirty silverware again, I will call the local Health Department to put in a complaint before someone gets sick!!! That's a promise. Yuck!!!!!!

  110. July 12, I came from out of town and took my Grandson to eat at the Chili's on 544 in Wylie. We both ordered the salmon. Both our salmon's were dry as a bone and the broccoli was so old that parts of it had turned bright yellow. And the rice was bland. I love Red Lobster but seldom eat there because I consider their prices high. If I want to splurge and treat my mentally challenged Grandson on a $50 meal again it will be at Red Lobster. I seldom get to see my Grandson and was terribly disappointed as was he.

  112. Me and my boyfriend love Chilis and always go. But after our visit on sat the 7th of Sep at the Chilis in Frisco Tx off 121 we will not be going back. We arrived at 11:30pm and sat in one of the booths in the bar area. Knowing they were closing soon we felt bad and were going to try to make it a fast meal. It was pretty dead. There was one other table that seemed to be paying out and one guy that sat at bar after we had got there. It had been a few minutes that we had been seated and hadn't been greeted. So we just started choosing our Appetizer and meal for the night. I made eye contact with the bartender a few times and saw him walking around in the back. My boyfriend and I are both servers so we are pretty understanding to the fact that you get busy and cant greet a table right away. But for us to have time to decide what we want to drink eat and what dessert we should get before we are greeted is not okay. Finally after 8 mins he yells from across the room "be with you in a minute" (very professional) After that he goes and greets the guy at the bar and then goes back into the kitchen. After waiting 10 mins of not having anyone at least get our drink orders we had enough and got up and walked out and took our money to a different restaurant. As we were walking to my car, me and the bartender (who looked like he was in his late 20s early 30s with short black hair balding a little bit) made eye contact with me and gave me a snarky smirked. I was very insulted and coming from a server point of view if I watched one of my tables walk out because I didn't greet them fast enough I would of been embarrassed. He didn't seem to care at all.

  113. The management team at the Chili's in Mobile Alabama encourages sexual harassment and disgusting behavior among its staff. I applied to work there a month or so ago based on help needed sign at the location. When I was applying a man approached and told me that he was the manager and that there weren't any openings. I finished the application and dropped it off. A day later a woman called and told me she was the general manager. This woman, Heather, told me they were in fact hiring and interviewed/hired me two days after our phone conversation. While I was at orientation with 5 other people (all women) the man that had initially told me not to apply was introduced as the general manager. Confused yet? I was. Being the only make in the group wasn't an issue to me but this manager made sure to focus all of his attention on me. He corrected and talked down to me the entire time. When he walked to the back to get us more paperwork I was told by one of the servers "Don't pay any attention to Wade, he doesn't like working with STRAIGHT guys". That was only the beginning of the nightmare. We were told that the restaurant had just hired, trained, then fired two large groups of servers just a week before we were hired. Once we were introduced to the kitchen it started to make sense. The kitchen staff cursed at us, refused to prepare the "free" meals we were supposed to get every night of our training schedule. Each night around the same time we were told to pick from a different section of the menu and all order something different. With the exception of the dessert night, we were never allowed to eat. When the "training captain" took our order to the kitchen the people working the line would say "Fuck them. I ain't cooking for them. We don't give a shit, aint nobody worried about cooking for them". That happened every night. Once we started working regular server shifts, the new group of servers were harassed and even hazed. This wasn't done in a lighthearted way. This was done out of pure meanness and management refused to do anything about it. When ever we "called out" for any item in the kitchen, no matter what it was, they simply said no or cursed at us. At least three of the ladies in my group quit within days, mainly because of the sexual harassment. The men in the kitchen openly and very loudly harassed every female in the building. They were allowed to play loud music with explicit lyrics. More than once I had guests complaining or just leaving because of the music. A had to stand in front of a party of 7 one night and try to explain to them why their children were hearing the "N-word" and the lyrics "I'll fuck yo mouth while you sleepin" coming from the kitchen loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. The final straw came after that table asked for to-go boxes so they could leave and I couldn't get them boxes. When I walked in the kitchen and asked "can I get some 9x9 to-go boxes" I was told to fuck off. When I asked a manager for boxes he ignored me. One of the men on the line in the kitchen then yelled "I'm gonna fuck you up in the parking lot!! We jumping yo ass tonight!". I went to management, they wouldn't act, the guests that witnessed it called management that night, they offered them a dessert. I called corporate and was told that the manager said that I made it all up. One of the women that had been harassed secretly videoed it on her phone and its going viral very soon. Chili's as a company has given up and turned their restaurants into a horrible place to eat or work. That's sad but its very true.

The only complaint is the actual tables. The center tiles are always clean, but the wood frame around them is sticky and dirty. It was such a nice surprise to get a Chili's coupon in email for a birthday treat --- a free dessert. When I went to our local Chili's, a 20 mile drive from our home, I went in, met the hostess, and made a request that we be allowed to use our coupon for an appetizer (chips and salsa) rather than a dessert since we are both avoiding desserts and being more strict with our diet. The hostess went to the manager and came back with, "No, we can't do that." What a disappointment! This restaurant, which we otherwise enjoy, loses a customer over that decision.

Preston 544 #44. 4800 w park blvd Plano Texas 75093-2330 - Dear Chili's I have loved your restaurant for years & I mean that sincerely, but now that love stops.I took my best friend to chilis for graduating from nursing school & the service was worse than I have ever experienced anywhere. We ordered at 6:45 & left at 8:52. What was normally an experience was a nightmare & I even bought him a $50 gift card while i was there & gave him the $10 card as well. My friend ordered a burger with no pickles due to allergies. I ordered a plain salad (lettuce, cheese, tomatoes) with some of the chicken crisper's with ranch dressing on the side. My friends meal came out 20 minutes later & was covered in pickles despite our request. He put it aside & ate the fries. My salad (a SALAD) came out 12 minutes after that & had corn, beans & covered in Santa fa sauce. They apologized & then the manager came out & I repeated my order. The next salad came out 7 minutes later & had avocado & the same dressing. I ordered again & it came out right the third time but without the ranch dressing i had asked for. About 10 minutes later the ranch came out and then the chicken was soggy & cold. I paid with tip $33 & also bought a $50 card. $83.00!! I won't Return ever.

This was by far the worse experience I had with Chilis first of all we made it there around 6:00 p.m. and we didn't receive our food until 7:30 p.m. Then when we received our food almost all of it was cold the crispier taste like it was cooked in old grease. We ask the waiter for the manager he came over and we explained to him the problem with the food he told us that he need to speak with the waiter about it, mind you this is the supervisor on duty that we were talking too. As a matter of fact his name is Mike R. Once they brought us the tickets we had food on there that we didn't even order so they had to get that corrected and the only explanation that we were given is they was short staffed the manager did adjust one ticket but the rest of the party he stated the he could do nothing about it but once again he was the supervisor

  128. I bought a gift card as a Christmas present which was redeemed at the Chilis in Menomonee Falls, WI store. I'm embarrassed. First, the waitress took the initial order, delivered the food and drinks and never came back. My family had to search for her. Second, there were tablets at the table which the children And adults thought were for customer satisfaction while they waited for their food. At the end of the meal they found that there was an entertainment fee associated with their use. Seriously? I will never be back and I certainly won't be buying any gift cards. Just embarrassing.

  129. Chilis has always been my family spot growing up in Miami...has been in many Chili's around the country and have always found courteous and great friendly management at the tables and the bar...until we came and still here for business in Florence Kentucky, at 5000 Houston Road...this time I went alone just got off from a bussiness meeting and went for a drink, sat at the bar and order a beer dos equis "XX"...was told they just ran out of them but I was told the same a week before with a different bar tender, then I ask for a drink with Flor de Caña rum and was told they ran out of it too, then I ask for a Chevy's Regal shot of whiskey and got lucky, so I thought, because when I ask for a second one was told they didn't have no more and I got the last shot...that was the last straw from the start I noticed the bar tender uncomfortable serving me the drinks...he kept ignoring my requests by I kept playing the fool not to get off set, I am Hispanic and I don't think Chili's policy is to institute prejudice in their places but this joint is less than friendly to hispanics, just put a banner outside teeling us no latinos allowed in this joint and we will not even walk infront of this place...felt like a slap on the face and no power to do nothing...I was planning to spend new years eve there but not anymore, my wife and me are going to another place...this place in Florence should be really look at it for for discriminatory attention against hispanics, they may be in the kitchen cooking but they really hate to see one of us not along serving us, as it should in a restaurant and bar.

  131. I ordered on line no problem went to pick up at to go desk and waited about 10 minutes watching a employee wrap silverware and she looked at me not saying a word. A customer can by and said I had to pick mine up at the bar so at the bar I told her who I was she brought me my food. I ordered chicken crisp taco which says served with rice and beans and it asks online what two sides . I checked my food no beans and rice before I could get the question out of my mouth she yells for the manager which could not give me a good answer. I have never been to the Gainesville Georgia chilis restaurant and get a order correct. They are now advertising delivery and they can't do a to go desk.

  132. My name is Barb. My husband and myself got to Chili's in Frankfort ky about once a week. Last night we went and the waitress and waiter were very good but the manager in that restuarant didn't do anything to help with our service even after I conplained to her that we had been waiting for our brownie to go for almost 15 minutes. We ordered the 2 for 35.00 and after tax the extra salads and tip we spent almost 60.00 and could not get our brownie.
She lost us for a customer last night. On the way home, only 8 miles- I was sick and had to get my husband to pull over 3 times to throw up. Not a good experience last night at all.

  133. My name is Rebecca, Chilli's, is and will always be my favorite restaurant to go to. but last week I had went to the chilli's on 43rd and miller park way in Milwaukee, wi. I had went to the to go order area. I had only bought two things of guacamole. it took them over 20 minutes to give me my order. not only did it take a while for me to get my food. while I was waiting for my food. I had noticed that a cloud of smoke was in the kitchen. as if the servers who where there had burned something. not only that the floor was just a complete mess. one server was throwing fries around. now im a server my self so I pay very good attention to these kinds of things. there was just so my going on in the time period that I was there. by the time I got home and ate the guacamole I had noticed that it was beyond hot. the salsa that I had got with it tasted like nothing but marinara sauce. in my own opinion if there is customers who can see what your doing and what the kitchen looks like I would never leave it a mess. most of the servers that were working that night, ( and there had to have been at least 7 of them on the floor. and the restaurant was empty. like I said before I still will go to chilli's but never that one again. I just feel that if I give you my feed back they can improve and become better as a team....

  134. Unpleasant experience at Chilli's Paradigm Mall,Malaysia

    Dear Management,

Chili’s has been my favorite dining outlet and it has been a family tradition and a venue of choice to celebrate occasions with my family for the last 15 years. I have made it a point to visit all existing Chili’s outlets during my trips, locally or abroad.
Chilis became accustomed family gathering place for me while I was studying at the US, where I would have family gathering and celebration at your New York outlets and not forgetting numerous catering events that we have had in the past.

I would say the outstanding one at the moment will be your outlet at 1 Utama, Damansara, Petaling Jaya, service is great, managers visit the tables, staff check on your food, etc,etc
Visiting Chili’s means I get assurance in consistency of service and most importantly good food and a good time, albeit a different menu from the States.

To my regrets, I have decided to try a new outlet located at Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya and it was an utter disappointment for me and my family.
I arrived at 9pm to a half empty restaurant. I see there is plenty of service staff around but they were busy chatting among themselves and also
walking up and down with no apparent reason, rather than serving your customers.
It took them 10 minutes to after numerous attempts to gain attention for them approach my table to take the order. I can see other customers were also doing the same gestures, waving their hand in the air to attract attention. In fact a table in front of us was voicing out his frustration with the poor service of this outlet.
The order came after 30 minutes, on both timing occasion, it is acceptable but what is not is the quality of food. Food came but no cutleries.
When asked, the waiter came and put it on my table with no apologies nor setting the cutleries appropriately. My family had the impression like we were asking
a favor instead of it is what they are supposed to do.

I ordered two Lamb Chops and kids’ meal for my kids. My lamb chops was bad, and the meat was stale. It has a putrid stench to it and we had to smother it with
chili’s sauce to mask the smell. I did not give my feedback there and then as I knew nothing could be done and I would like to avoid any "special additives"
coming in my next order or a replacement order. Having worked in restaurant kitchens before, I have seen what happens to a customer’s food when he/she complains.
My kids had hotdogs and drummet's which was poorly cooked and hard in texture. It smelled bad too. My kids refused to eat it after the first bite and I have refused to throw it, so we packed the food back for my pet.

My kids are now sick from eating it (nauseated, vomiting) but then again, I know I might be the only unlucky family or unlucky day to have patronized your Paradigm Mall outlet yesterday.
My kids and parents usually are the decision makers for where we should go for family outings and prior to this the only choice were always Chili’s, as it was indoctrinated by my parents to me (they insisted on chili’s only for celebration purposes), and now me to my kids, but I guess that all will change from last night's experience. My planned anniversary celebration scheduled in on 10th June was supposed to be in Chilies’, but now I might have to cancel it as my kids and their grandparents will definitely refuse based on yesterdays experience.
Staff was not friendly, food was bad tasted, and definitely not worth for my hard earned money and the biggest disappointment will be my kids will not continue my tradition of visiting Chili’s in their near future with their families one day. I look forward to your response.

    Yours sincerely

    Mrs Eva Jhothy

  135. I've been a customer at Chilis Restaurabt in Bayside for some time now. I must say that the bartenders, servers, hostess and the clean up group at this restaurant are wonderful and friendly. I really can't complain about them, but, I was more amazed about the way the GM in that restaurant treats the workers. I was so pissed about the whole thing I even asked one of the workers for his name. Reggie, the asshole. Excuse my French. You as an adult and a GM you are supposed to be an example for today youth. This guy thinks he is high and mighty and instead of praising the hard working youth in the restaurant, all he does is watch them like a hawk to intimidate them and to attempt to catch them doing something wrong so he can fire them on the spot. I can't understand why Chilis would have someone like him working there. Not so long ago, I saw the same guy, Reggie, fire one of them, and mind you the guy was working his butt off and it's the type of person that the customers like. The mistake was not even the guys fault but he made sure to humiliate him and fired him. I am sure Reggie has never done anything wrong in his life and that he must be perfect for him to have the power to destroys someone's future just because he didn't like him. Allot if these kids are working their butts off to pay for college. Sometimes you need to know how to talk to people to help them be the best they can be, but I guess they didn't make Reggie take that class when he was young. It's called humanity. Asshole. This is the way Chilis is shaping tomorrow's future with this asshole as a general manager. Good luck with that. guess I'm looking for another place to have my margaritas at.

  136. After reading the complaints I am wondering why Chili's is still in business. There is definitely something wrong and Chili's is not addressing the problem. One time my husband and I dined in my husband had order steak. The steak was so tough that he could not eat it. We complained to the manager and she did not charge us but that is not the point. It should not have been a bad steak in the first place. Then there has been other times like with our daughter and son-in-law. My food was terrible and the service was terrible. My daughter complain about the service and the manager did not seem to care. Since then we have not dined in. Then there are the take out orders. we get home and they are cold and chicken tenders are over cooked and cold. The little contains with the sauce have something all over the lids and splattered on the take out box as well. we have gone back to give Chili's another chance as far as take out. This becoming a problem. In my point of view someone needs to be fired for doing a sloppy job. Has Chili's become so huge that they don't fear the public. Thought we were the only one to have bad experiences with Chili's. After this last take out experience we will not be going back and reading the complaints. So what is Chili's respond to the complaints?

  137. BEWARE: HOLD YOUR BELONGINGS CLOSE TO YOU!!! I know that it was totally irresponsible of me to take my wallet out and leave it on the chair and leave the restaurant. But to return immediately and the table has already been cleared out and the waiter to tell you he didn't see anything, is just plain criminal. I had a large amount of money in my wallet because I was on my way to the bank. When I questioned the waiter he said if I left it on the chair he would not have seen it. Very peculiar choice of words. I mean come on I'm no lawyer but it sounds like you in deed saw my wallet and looked in it and saw there was a large amount of money and you decided to steal it. I spoke with management and asked if they could review the cameras and was told there were no cameras inside the facility. And basically was treated as if "oh well lady you need to keep up with your things" Plus the service was bad. I know there are still decent people in the world but they are just not employed at Chili's.

Chilis has always been one of my favorite restaurant. But, lately service has gotten so ridiculous. The food is usually undercooked, cold or service is slow.

  140. Wow. That's so dangerous pink red meat is screaming for the hospital. I think they are losing the passion in really what's it's all about bc the service sucks first off then the food is cold and not done. I guess we can start preparing to see them shutting down if they don't get the right ppl in their business to run it like it should be raned. I guess the only way u not gonna know anything is wrong with the service r food is if u been drinking and I don't do that. Tighten up chili's! !

  141. I usually go to Chili's about once a week and I mostly go to the one in Kansas City, MO right by Liberty, MO. I love Chili's the service there is always great, I have never had a problem until last night. I don't know if any of you get this or know about this but they used to have something called Fajita Nachos which is now called Classic Nachos. You can choose either fajita beef or chicken. I always get fajita beef which used to be little stips of fajita beef. Well apparently they have changed their meat and their food vendor from what the manager told me last night. A. They don't hardly put any meat on them anymore maybe one piece of you're lucky. B. It is the most griseley meat I have ever seen and C. There is no way I would ever serve that to anyone and they shouldn't either. The manager did offer to make me something else but we had already been sitting there for 45 minutes waiting for our food I told her no I will just eat it because I'm really hungry and have been waiting. I'm so mad because I have never had that problem there before and that was my favorite meal. I guess I will be getting something else now. By the way this is also what they give you for your fajita's now. Do not order or eat it. I'm not sure what the meat it but it's definately not what it once was. So sad :(

  142. So how is the Hixson, TN store still open when they have roaches running all over your to-go plates and over everything in their storage room out back.I also want to know how a place that has had a rat in the building in the past 6 months can be allowed to serve food without having the whole place cleaned. How do they have managers that are hypocrites and have relations with employees and still be allowed to work their. How come favoritism in the work place is OK now?How can someone be fired for one thing but then allow others to do the same as the person that was fired and they not receive any punishment? How come they allow people who take things to work their.

  144. For Christmas, purchased $100 worth of gift cards. For this, I received two $10 gift cards for myself. Yesterday, Feb. 16th, my wife and I grabbd the $10 giftcards off the refridgerator, and drove to Chili's in Concord Mills, N. Carolina. When we were standing in line, my wife pulled out the cards, and on the front if stated, that the cards were only valid Jan.1st thru Feb.10th. We spokle to the Hostess about this, and she went to speak to the manager. When she returned, she said that the manager would not honor the cards because they were expired. I asked to see the manager, and when the person showed up, she looked like the dishwasher, and not professional at all. She said, that they would not honor the cards because they stated that they are only good until Feb. 10th.
I understand that the cards might have a limited time of usage...but 40 days??? We just put the cards up...we did not suspect that they had a limited time of usage. We did not eat there, and we refuse to ever eat at another Chili's. When we purchased the $100 worth of giftcards...we were given the $10 gift cards because of the extensive purchase. Should they have not said that we needed to use them before a certain date?

I've only had one burger better than the one I had today. The fries I had were also excellent. I'll be back there real soon. To all you people complaining, try working there for awhile before you go and complain. If I had to deal with people like you all day I'd be grumpy too.

  147. I had the worst experience ever at the Chili's located at Condado in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The purpose of the visit was to celebrate my son's and goddaughter's 5th birthday. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and the service was unlike any other Chili's I had visited. No balloons, no crayons and coloring booklet for the kids. The staff was clearly not service-oriented and the Manager and Kitchen Manager were more concerned about us not telling headquarters or your local franchisee rather than making any effort to change our experience. Needless to say, if you can't properly staff a restaurant in a tourist zone, do yourselves a favor and close it down.

  148. The absolutely WORSE Chili's is located at 14432 Gideon Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22192. The food is horrible and while the Manager Joe stated he would reverse the charges I found his attitude to be very lackadaisical!!!! Based on all the complaints at various locations you would think the BOSS of this chain would start visiting these places because if ever a place is going to go out of business this is the chain that need to be SHUT THE HELL DOWN FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every cup they had in the restaurant had a scum build up on it, it was nasty. Manager said well we've been soaking them. Guess what, just because you've been soaking them doesn't make them clean. Place is nasty.

  150. My husband and I are both vegetarians and have been frequenting Chili's on and off for some time. We had a few bad experiences here and there (taking 30 minutes to get served, etc) and finally after a year we decided to go back. We have been going back regularly now for about 5 months. One of the waitresses is absolutely wonderful and she even knows what we order each time - black bean burgers with extra pickles and lettuce. Last night we went for our usual meal and had a different waitress. We ordered the usual and were brought to meat burgers instead. We called the waitress back, who apologized and took the meat burgers back to replace them with veggie patties. While we were waiting, I glanced up at the large screen TV mounted on the wall. Rather than usual sports the hunting channel was on and a beautiful innocent deer was being slaughtered by two men with blood was gushing everywhere as it fought to no avail for its life. I spotted the manager and asked her to please change the the Channel, which she did (thank goodness). The waitress then brought out our black bean burgers along with a ticket showing that she had kindly removed the meat burgers from our ticket so we did not have to pay for them. What?! We never ordered them in the first place and they acted like they were doing us a favor by not charging us. Also, the black bean burgers arrived without any fries. The waitress assured us that our fries would be out shortly. By this time a half-hour had passed and we were starving, so we started eating our vegeburgers without the fries. Fifteen minutes later we had finished eating completely with the fries never showing up. We had to flag the waitress down to tell her that we wanted the fries removed from our ticket. The waitress went to get the manager, and after waiting 10 more minutes, the manager came back and said all she would charge us for was our drinks and chips and salsa - $5.82. Had they wiped the slate clean - which is what they should have done as in good customer service - we would have gone back but as it is, we are finding a new restaurant to eat at on our one night out. The Chili's in Mineral Wells, Texas SUCKS.

I at in Chilis restauran on Division street in Spokane Washington two weeks ago. The bathrooms were horrible, filthy, I lost my appetite and did not eat. I did not share with my famil. Why ruin their dinner. I brought this to the attention of the hostess. She did nothing.

I figured after 15 minutes the bathroom would be cleaned, went back still feces not flushed floor soaked, paper towels and toilet paper all over. Told hostess and waited an hour to use bathroom. Went back, still the same, not clean, heard other customers also complain. No one cared. How tow ait till I got home to finally use restroom, disgusting.

Called restaurant the next day and spoke to general manager.

He said he was sorry and iw ould recieve a $50 gift certificate, that was about what we spent with tip and drinks.. So lets see, I did not ask for gift certificate. A letter of apology would have been fine. Now it is 10 days later and no letter of any kind. I called the restaurant to inquire and guess what? They forgot!

Translation Chilis did not care how filty its rest room was or how they ruined my dinner and i had to wait 2 plus hours before I could use a bathroom. I called and inquired and management said they forghot! Why should I go back to chilis. I could be a jerk and file a health dept complaint and sue chilis for its disgusting bathroom. Odds are that you will not respond to this letter either

  153. My husband, son and I visited the Chili's on 6250 Interparcel Rd, Alexandria, VA on 3/23/2014 and it was terrible. Granted they had just had a large party (60+) and I am sure the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed but it took over an hour to get our food. At first it took a good bit of time for anyone to come and ask us if we wanted anything to drink. We did ask for our free chips and queso which also took a while to get to our table and the queso was terrible. On another visit the chicken tortilla soup was also terrible. Have you changed menus, ingredients, etc? Eventually, the manage came to our table and apologized but by then the table across from us just received their food and they sat down way after us? What is going on with your chain of restaurants? At one time we always enjoyed eating there and always had great service. We will never go back.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I cannot believe that Chili's just sent an email (the day of this event) about it being canceled. You will never please everybody and patrons have the option to support the event or not. But, just because it is not something that they choose to support, doesn't mean that others do not want to. I thought it very unprofessional after making a commitment to this organization. We typically attend Chli's weekly - an event we will no longer do because of their unwillingness to keep their commitment. If they thought it a worthy cause, no possible consumer concerns should have changed their position. What happens when you support causes for certain animals that others don't like (e.g humans over animals, cats vs dogs)? Do you support kids with some disabilities and choose to ignore others? If this organization reached out to you, that often means their members are patrons of your restaurant. And, based on this move, you probably lost their entire membership base. I've no affiliation - but, you've lost ours as well.

  160. This is in reference to an experience we had at the Chilies :17643 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647 (813) 903-0039..Store # 687 (If the manager wasn’t lying when she gave it to us) on 04/13/14. We went on our lunch. Knowing that we are limited on our time we decided to call ahead to order our food so that it would be ready and we would have time to enjoy it. The waitress's name was Ruth (might as well have been Ruthless!) She had NO customer service and a poor attitude. If you don't want to work DON'T!!! I'm sure there are other people out there that need a job. She was rude and basically told us if we ordered our food to go we had to leave to eat it (Really??) I ask myself why would a waitress not want to make an easy tip since 1/2 of her job was done. We already ordered and paid for our food. We would only have needed drinks. The entire experience was ridiculous. We also had a coupon or a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree. So please tell me why we purchased an adult entree and presented the coupon and were advised (in a NOT professional manner) that they could not accept the coupon. We are paying customer's. You would think that the manager would be interested in keeping good paying customer's happy. So where was the manager in all this?? Her name is Julia. She is the manager for Chilies Store # 687. When I called her to talk about the experience. She did not ask me any questions and simply directed me to my receipt. She told me the web site for survey's is on the receipt and pretty much dismissed me. What is going on in this world were a customer can't go to a location to spend money and be treated like a human being. I'm so disappointed. I will tell you that regardless of the fact that the chilies is across the street from my job and my co-worker's and I go often, I won't go there anymore. Why give my hard earned money to a business that doesn't want to appreciate their customer's. I would tell all my representatives and co-worker's to go to TGI Friday’s were they have a better attitude. So to Julia and Ruth you have lost my business and that of many of my co-worker's. Thanks for making it easier for us to choose a place to go to for lunch.

    Sincerely,
    Truly disappointed customer.

  161. To make a commitment to a disability organization like National Autism Association (NAA) and then to renege and cancel because some patrons disagree with how some (not all) autistics are diagnosed is heartless and fundamentally discriminatory. Nobody who does not want to support autism awareness was forced to go to Chili's that day. What kind of company are you to judge autistic children and their parents experiences and observations of their child's disability? I have never heard of such a vile unconscionable act by a company against a disability organization's scheduled fundraiser, something that many autism families had pre-planned to attend with their autistic children. The sole purpose of the pre-agreed fundraiser was for wandering alert kits supplied to autism families for FREE by the NAA. Shame on you Chili's, there simply are no words to describe how hurtful this is against the autism community who have a great need for supports and services from the NAA and other autism organizations. There will be no reason for my family or ANY disability family to patronize your restaurant, and there is no trust for Chili's and parent corporation Brinker's International for future fundraisers either.

A simple yes or no would have been enough. Most of the restaurants' around our area give Veteran discounts. I protected this land of ours for 10 years in the Army and this is how people treat us. I will not be eating at any chili's restaurants' any more, and I will spread the word how you treat us Veterans.

  163. After my last visit to the Chili's in Sacramento on Truxel I don't think my family and I will be coming back. I have been a regular Chili's customer since I was a kid and up until now have been mostly satisfied. I have never encountered a manager more lazy and rude than Rob. We waited for our dinner for twenty minutes, after it arrived we noticed our meal came out cold we asked to see the manager to voice our displeasure. The restaurant wasn't too busy, so there is no way that I could see that our food took that long to come out. Rob took over ten minutes to come to speak to us. When he arrived at our table it was clear he was irritated. I'm not going to paraphrase but the impression we were left with is that our issue was a nuisance to him and that he had other issues that he needed to be dealing with. He comped our kids meal and went back to the kitchen. From the kitchen we could hear him complaining in very colorful/foul language about the variety of issues he was dealing with at the time which made an uncomfortable situation even more so.. We wont be coming back to Chili's anytime soon, which is unfortunate because your new fajita's are tasty, and as I mentioned I have been a customer of Chili's since my childhood. We don't have tons of money to spend on going out to dinner so we are going to go somewhere else in the future where we will actually feel like we matter as customers, and are not just some inconvenience to the all mighty Rob.

  164. Just wanted to thank the manager, Brian from the Freehold Chilis. He worked with my daughter and I on a coupon we misread when coming in. He was very good when it comes to customer service. Thanks to Nick our server, always making sure we were ok with out food and drinks. We will be back

  165. I visited the local Chili's in the Villages Fl. We choose the pick 3 deal and because salad and soup were choosen as part of the deal all the food was served at the same time. When I ask why the soup and salad was not served prior to the entree I was told this was direction from Corporate. I think corporate should inform their patrons that the serving sequence that has existed all of my 50 plus years has changed according to them. Ask for soup and/or salad to be served before your meal in order for your entree to still be hot after eating your soup and/or salad.

  166. Just want to give a shout out to the Chili's in Ormond Beach, FL next to the Sleep Inn. A small group of us went in there late on a Saturday night about 20 minutes before closing. The manager, kitchen staff and our server was great. We know that they were ready to leave to go home but, they accommadated us like we were their first customer of the day. I feel they went above and beyond for us. Just want them to know it was greatly appreciated and not forgotten. Way to go Chili's.

  168. I have read through a lot of these customer complaints and I also have a complaint as well. However my complaint is not as a customer but as the wife of an employe. I want to share this story so customers know that they aren't the only ones getting screwed at these restaurants the employes are too! My husband has been working as a janitor and was trained at other positions as well at the shop in Florence SC for a few months now. He has been going in every day and working his hardest. He has never once complained about the work he is told to do or neglected any detail of anything he's been told to do. He Always gives 100%, is a good worker and he likes doing janitorial work. He was even complimented on his work by a visiting manager a week ago. This week he was informed that he was going to be training a new janitor And that after the training was done his hours were going to be cut. He has been working 5 days a week, which has been very good for us because we need the money. Now he's being told he's going to be cut down to just 3 days a week while he new guy is going to get 4 days. A manager who first trained him in another position asked the regional manager if he could be moved to another position for the days he won't be doing janitorial the regional manager responded "NO". This regional manager has a bad track record. In the past few years since she started she has made 5 store managers walk out because she is either just plain mean to them or she harasses them when they don't take her up on her sexual advances. The 3 store managers really like my husband's work and the attitude he has when he's working. From everything my husband has heard about this shop it has an extremely high turn over rate. Since he has started working there he has seen 3 people walk out and at least 5 people just stop coming in all together. My husband was unemployed for a while before he found this job. When he was hired we saw it as a blessing and thought things were finally starting to get better for us and our son. Now it has turned into a total NIGHTMARE! None of us will NEVER eat at another Chili's I don't care where it is or who's paying! After knowing how Chili's treats their employes I can totally understand why there are so many customer complaints on this page. Why would the employes want to give good customer service when they are treated like crap by upper management every day!?

  169. On my visit today to your store # 858 in Kemah Texas with two friends turned out to be without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had in going to Chili’s over 22 years. I'm not one to complain or even take the time to write a review, but this experience was so bitterly awful that I felt compelled to warn you about it. Horrible service! At best I ordered my FULL order of classic Nachos after about ten minutes Sutton came out with the three total orders and when I saw my order being only a small order I pointed it out to him to which he replied oh let me take it to the kitchen and show them five minutes later he came back with the half order and said I will have them make a few more so I asked him for some salsa and I waited and waited and waited and not getting any, I caught the attention of and had flag down another lady in and asked her to get me some Salsa which she did very quickly but now the half order was cold. So in a few more minutes he came out with just four nachos no sour cream, etc., so I asked to see the manager a few moments later a young lady shows up asking what the problem was and I showed her the four that did not have any garnish and looked burned and explained that I did not order my meal in shifts the only response I got was well a full order is twelve and no attempt was made to show apologies and appeared to throw the customer under the buss for complaining, so I told her to take them back reminded her they were nachos, appetizer food, and I can't believe it could take this long while my friends had eaten their full course meal and told her that after coming to that establishment for over three years, I was not happy with her attitude and the waiter at all, and having been a Senior V.P. in a national chain I understand customer Service.
The thing that bothered me was that the manager who never gave me her name in summary, I have never been so disrespected, especially by a manager! So when Sutton , came to give me my bill for this great meal HHAHAH not once did acknowledged that I was even there, including when he asked my friends for dessert, so all I can say good bye to a customer who ate in your chain for over twenty two years in almost every great City in the USA.
