LG Disappointing Compact Washtower & Customer Service

LG, Compact Washtower. I purchased an LG Full-size Washtower in 2023. Loved it. Sold my house and needed a smaller washer dryer. I purchased a LG Compact Vent Less Washtower in Dec 2024. Washer is ok. Not great but ok. dryer is an epic fail. Worst ever!!!! Takes 3 hours to dry a set of sheets. Have to open every 10 minutes because sheets are all balled up. Contacting LG is a joke. just keep talking to computer. Can’t get a person. Will never buy LG again.

LG Disappointing Unresolved Customer Service Issues

LG, In mid-April 2025, after contacting LG Customer Service and finding out my refrigerator (Momdel # LRMVS3006S) was out of warranty and being told I needed to contact a plumber I made contact with my home warranty (Choice) as there was minimal water being dispensed. Additionally we have been encountering issues with slow to no ice being made (LG techs have tried to work the issue when the refrigerator was still under warranty). Choice Home Warranty had an LG tech dispatched. The problem required both a plumber and the LG tech. The LG tech’s replacement of the valve on the back of the refrigerator coupled with the plumber’s repairs fixed the water dispensing issue but unfortunately the ice problem got worse, so much so that the ice tray under the designer ice-maker is filled with a sheet of ice daily. I shared all of this with your customer service representative, and I know they are following a script, but they refused to let me discuss this with a supervisor. Yes, they provided a link to order a new ice maker but where is the pride in the LG brand? Common sense would lead you to believe that since the issue got worse after the technician’s actions that the company (LG) would send a technician back out to further troubleshoot the problem vice the customer having to remove and replace the part and hope that it fixes the problem … hopefully it is not something to do with the ‘difficult to access’ valve behind the refrigerator which may be defective or improperly installed. Perhaps it is my age (67) but I remember appliances lasting well past the warranty date and companies took pride in their craft and their workmanship. I suppose it is simply down to saving a buck vice customer service!

LG Bake Option Not Working on New Range

LG, Frustrating issues with customer service! On 4/09/25 we purchased an LG 5 burner range. The “Bake” function does not work at all. I have spoken with 3 customer service reps several times over the past 2 days. All of them insisted that the serial number was inside the oven door. I sent a photo of the label on the inside door, but there was no serial number. I kept asking if it was on the back of the range; their reply was an emphatic “no.” I am 78 years old and have had recent back surgery making it almost impossible to pull the unit away from the wall. The Serial Number Is On The Back! The reps are all polite, but I cannot get them to understand that the “Bake” function does not work at all. Worst customer service ever. We have a brand new range that we have to pay for, bit it doesn’t work!

LG Disappointing Customer Service

LG, Awful Service! Refrigerator quit cooling on March 20th. Service didn’t come until 25th. Ordered parts and came April 1. Didn’t fix issue. Chased repair guy and LG via phone and chat for answers and repairs until guy came back on April 15th. Still Not Fixed. LG has given me the run around. Every phone or chat rep I talk to says they are “escalating my case” but I have yet had LG been the one to initiate contact – meaning they aren’t doing anything about this. The fridge was brand new in August of 2024 and is still under LG’s manufacturer warranty. They won’t stand by their product or give a solution. Ignorant And Unprofessional.

The LG All-in-One Washer/Dryer Frustrating Experience

LG, All-in-One, Terrible! I would have given Zero stars if there has been any less than “one”. I purchased an LG All in one washer on 12/28/24; which finally was delivered in the middle of February 2025. Since then, it has not worked properly. I have placed four service calls and after first being sent the parts to replace them ourselves, they decided to send a repairman. We were sent the repair parts and the repairman showed up three times and could not fix the appliance. On March 10, 2025, he called LG and told them the unit could not be repaired, and they needed issue us a refund because I would not accept a replacement of any type of LG appliance. Since then, I have done everything I was asked, including proof of purchase, I was told their Engineering Dept has contacted the repairman and completed their paperwork, and had turned it over to the final department for determination of my case. Since then, virtually nothing. I was told they would contact me via text, and I have received on text from a guy named Neil asking if I have provided proof of purchase and I replied that has been done. After that I was told by the Customer Service Dept that they said they would contact me withing the next 24 hours. I am now out over $2,300 and stuck with a brand-new all-in-one washer drying that doesn’t work. I have four boxes of repair parts they have sent that did not work, and the last time I actually spoke with a person at LG, and asked who would pick up this appliance they told me to “keep it”. This might be funny if it weren’t for the fact that I need to pay off this appliance so I can purchase another washer and dryer. Which will definitely not bear the name LG. I am now having to pay to go to a laundry mat.
