  1. I have frequented CVS drug stores for 25 years-specifically in downtown Boston,Ma.The stores and your personnel are terrific to say the least.Your quality through is second to none!
Recently,I've seen dogs(plural) in a few of your stores in downtown&the west end of Boston.
This is against the law in Boston! It is also disgusting when these dogs are in the food aisle!!
Please inform your store managers, all personnel of the law. Also, please send appropriate door/window signs. Thanks

    5. Hi, i am and now was a customer of the cvs store at 2105 cleary ave
      .
on may 21 st. at 5:40 pm your employee Richelle called over the intercom for Keisha to come assit her with customers after a secound call for help due to there being a line of customers Keisha took her sweet time to get to the register to assit Richelle . then here come a short white girl behind the counter which thought it was ok for her to belittle Richelle for calling for help by saying the way Richelle made it to seem is like the line was to the cooler . i know that Richelle was thinking of your customers by calling for help . which after hearing this white girl express her reply really upset me so my reply to this white girl was i sure am sorry that she thought that her reply was funny then here comes the store manager which is a african american man with a bald head and over weight proceeded to ask me if i needed help when i was already at Richelles register . so my reply to him was to help another customer sense i was already at a register . so if this is the kind of employees that you feel is professional to work in your store is a little much for me to swollow so as of this day i will no longer be a customer of your stores as well as i will not have a problem with telling every person i run in to are know personaly about what took place at your store on cleary ave in metairie la, i truly hope you can handle this problem with your employees .

    7. I think you all need to visit CVS in Royal Oak, Michigan & Clarkston, Michigan. I have been going to them for 25 years, well (when they used to be called Arbor Drugs) Anyhow, I have never run into any problems with the pharmacy or cashiers.

On 12-31-11 I called and requested my prescription #669457361 again that you charged me for it and claimed you sent me on 12/8/11 and I never received. The agent I spoke to said it will be processed immediately and come with a blue paper that I have to sign and return. On 1/4/12 someone else called me from CVS and said because my plan has changed as of 1/1/2012 they have to process it by hand and will send it to me immediately. Well, THEY BOTH LIED. Since then I have received a 2 phone calls and 2 letters with blue papers indicating that you WILL NOT send me the medication I have already PAID FOR.
I believe you people are nothing but bunch of lying, cheating, crook leaches, sucking the blood of everyone especially old people like me. SHAME ON YOU ALL so called LEADERS, AND MAY ALL OF YOU BURN IN AN ETERNAL HELL.
I will not stop writing you, and everyone else, including members of congress and state officials letting everyone know how you have treated me and people like me, and I believe I have plenty of evidence to pursue the issue legally.

  4. CVS Caremark is a sad, sad, example of our current healthcare system. They recently withdrew funds from my MC without my approval for drugs that are covered under Medicare B....this is criminal. I have lodged complants with the Missouri Attorney General's Office and with Health and Human Services fraud devision and am considering other legal options. In the meantime, this horribly dysfunctional money grubbing company continues to make billions in profits off the backs of the middle class.

    1. I believe that they must get paid more from other insurance companies than they do from Medicare B so that is why they don't even check to see if you have that coverage for Diabetic supplies. They just told my friend, when she questioned why she was charged for test strips that she did not have Medicare B. She showed them her card and indeed she does! She asked for them to charge her Medicare B and to return what she paid to her. They would not do it beause it was already paid for. It was THEIR FAULT that they did not charge Medicare B, not hers. I had something happen to me just like that at a different pharmacy and they returned my money to me in cash right away. They backed out my charges and charged Medicare B. It can be done!!!!!!

  6. My family and I get the prescriptions at CVS in Smithfield NC and for the last two months is been bad service they promise your prescription to be ready at certain time and they never have them ready. I went inside told me they should be ready in 20 minutes and those minutes turn into 2 hours. My dad call in some refill to be ready on the eight of the month and they were not ready until the 13 of the month. This is getting to be annoying. Someone needs to due something because if not they will be loosing plenty of customers.

  9. First of all, I must say that those who have written complaints on here, most of them don't sound any better than the ones they are complaining about. The language you are using is outrageous, and not classy at all. If I was CVS, I wouldn't even acknowledge your complaints. In the professional world if you want to get a complaint across, and have someone try to help you and correct the situation, you don't tear them apart first, and expect them to react courteous to you. Sorry! I may not be 100% satisfied with CVS, but I certainly wouldn't go about it like most of you.

    4. I agree with the original poster, sure CVS may not be perfect but who is? Yes there are issues, there always will be, and if you want people to take you seriously then you should deliver your complaint in a professional manner. I would assume everyone that has been posting is an adult, then in that case you all should be acting like it instead of cursing and misspelling words because that really discredits your arguments. Yes their pharmacy deals with life saving medications everyday, and many problems arise, but if you work with their employees instead of throwing a fit I'm sure they'd be more inclined to solve them for you.

  10. CVS IS BY FAR THE WORSE PHARMACY IN THE WORLD. IVE BEEN GOING TO MY DOCTOR FOR 5 YEARS HERE IN FLORIDA AND ALWAYS FILLED MY PRESCRIPTIONS AT CVS. THIS MONTH THEY TELL ME THEY CANT FILL MY CONTROLLED MEDICATION ANYMORE FROM THIS DOCTOR. THAT I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. THE PHARMACIST TOLD ME MY DOCTOR WAS UNDER INVESTIGATION. I SAID "FOR WHAT", HE REPLIED "THIS IS JUST WHAT THE CORPORATE OFFICE INSTRUCTED US TO SAY, YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM". I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND THEY COULDN'T GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER, SO I ASKED THEM WHO IS THEIR COUNSEL. THEY RESPONDED WITH, "I HAD TO WRITE A LETTER TO THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE ASKING FOR THAT INFORMATION". WHAT B.S!!!!! LITTLE DO THEY KNOW IM A HEAD INVESTIGATOR HERE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND MY PHYSICIAN IS NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION. MY PHYSICIAN HAS NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE AND HE HAS A CLEAN ACTIVE LICENSE. IF THERE WAS AN INVESTIGATION, WE WOULD NEVER GIVE THAT INFO TO A CIVILIAN AND COMPROMISE THE CASE. I DID MY RESEARCH AND FOUND A COUPLE OF CVS STORES ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION IN FLORIDA, SO THE CORPORATE OFFICE DECIDED TO BLACK BALL PHYSICIANS IN THAT STATE WHO PRESCRIBE CONTROLLED MEDICATIONS IN ORDER TO MAKE IT APPEAR THEY ARE ACTIVELY DOING SOMETHING. THEY ARE TRYING TO COVER THEIR OWN TAIL AND BLAME THE PHYSICIANS. CVS IS SETTING THEMSELVES UP FOR A GIANT CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. THEY ARE INTERFERING WITH THE DOCTOR/PATIENT RELATIONSHIP AND VIOLATING THE PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS. NOT TO MENTION THE CIVIL CASE FOR SLANDER AGAINST ALL THESE PHYSICIANS WILL BE FILING AGAINST THEM. CVS HAS NO RIGHT TO BLACK BALL ANY PHYSICIAN. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THE CORPORATE OFFICE TO LIFT AND DISPOSE OF THIS SO CALLED DEA UNDER INVESTIGATION LIST "BLACK BALL LIST". I WONDER HOW THE STOCK HOLDERS FEEL ABOUT THE CORPORATE OFFICE BLACK BALLING PHYSICIANS WHO PRESCRIBE CONTROLLED MEDICATIONS. THIS WILL EFFECT THE SHAREHOLDER'S SHARES AND THE REPUTATION OF CVS PHARMACY. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CVS AGAIN AFTER FINDING OUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

    2. I am replying to what you said about CVS and cooprorate BS. I too am having trouble getting my prescription filled. Yes, it is a controlled substance and both myself and my physician abiding by all appliacble laws. Now, just because a bunch of idiots (druggies) have abused their medicine, bought, sold or other-wise making it difficult for anyone who truely needs assistance with their pain and or anything else....NOW, we all must suffer! I'm so sick of it!!! My doctor is leaving Florida and maybe I should too. This is completely out of control. I drove to six( 6 ) count em" six pharmacies trying to get my prescription filled without success. I called Headquarters for CVS and there was no way to speak with a human. Thus I called the Pharmacy that is filling the rest of my prescription to request Corprate headquarters phone numbers. The Pharmicist got on the phone with what I recognize as anxiety. Wondering why I needed their number. I expained to him that this medicine is something I am taking every month and by now the Pharmacy should know that and keep medicine in stock sense their every excuse is " we don't have it in stock." Therefore, I drive to the next cvs store....again same answer, however, I always request that they find out for me which pharmacy is carrying it. yet, I'm they are not allowed to do that. I am also told I can't call around and ask who has it in stock, leaving me no choice but to run around Florida in an attempt to fill my prescription. So far today, it has only been a half a tank I used up before going back to the doc's office with my concerns.
he said Florida has done this and there's nothing he can do. OK, my Blue Cross/Blue Shield should not be charged nor should I be paying 50.00 co-pay since the prescription is my monthly reason for going and the paper it's wrote on is worthless. CVS I have a serious problem with you guys. I have been going to you for less than a year and have had nothing but trouble getting my prescriptions filled. Just as the fellow above stated, " my physician is not on a Black Ball List of any kind" and I am a respected community worker who has severe pain and can hardly walk. I have never lived in a place where people are so cold and un-concerned about their consumers.....WOW! I will find another Pharmacy and basically have no choice in the matter if I am going to have any quality of life at all. The list of grievances will begin with, my withdrawls, inability to function enough to work, loss of job, suffering in pain causes many other illness's such as heart attackes where as I already have had one heart attack, inability to get up and move to take care of business of any kind can lead to many many things happening........yeah!!! I see CVS going down real fast! Sorry...but all you had to do was your job! And to have " your" job means to respect and advocate for your client's. Yeah! Right! not happening. Anybody want to file suite? leave a reply because I have done all the chasing of my medicine I'm going to do. This is completely out of control.

    4. I don't know if you are still having issues but I've been using CVS on Dingens street in Buffalo NY and have had issues each month. From them refilling on the 31st day; to having a recall and filling on the 32nd day. To not having my prescription filled when they tell me they are going to. But today was the end of it all. I'm also on a controlled substance and have been for 8 plus years...they shorted me 42 pills.

First off I never count my pills which I know I should, but the reason I counted today was because when I got out and looked at the bottle it looked half full compared to normal. I get 120 a month and they gave me 78. Ten minutes hadn't passed when I was told that I must be responsible. The girl said "she didn't know what happened from the time I left and came back". She came to the window and said "I dumped this bottle in which has 100 and then I counted out another 20". That they were double counted by her and another girl. Funny thing is only the stapled slip on the bag was signed NOT the bottle which every refill I've ever had for 8 plus years had the amount signed/initialed on the bottle.

I told them we could call the police that we should watch their cameras to get a count. I was told to come in the store to look at the cameras. I came in and was told that they must have recently "changed their camera angles and they don't point on the pharmacists". So the pharmacists are all behind the camera, and the cameras are pointed on the customers only. So the pharmacists are handling the medications and counting all off camera all of a sudden.

Now they are calling my doctor to see if she will write me another prescription for the missing amount when I paid for a full prescription and are accusing me of stealing them. I also pay out of pocket and don't have health insurance. So either they are not couting or they are stealing the pills, but convienantly they are not on camera.

I'm filing a report with every agency that I can; I'm not going to be accused of stealing and have this 'pharmacists' who to me are nothing but glorified store clerks at this location get away with ripping me off. I want to know what happened to those other 42 pills. I told them at this point I don't even care if they fill the rest or not...either way I'm going to file complaints.

I left a message with my local news station and am going to call another tomorrow and hopefully one of them calls back.

The consumers/patients are treated like criminals with controlled substances but a pharmacy can free-hand the pills off camera and sign the bag slip and we have to take their word for it? I'm not comfortible in general with them not being on camera. Why are the customers on camera but not the employees handling controlled substances as well as other sire medications?

  11. CVS in Hartselle has got to be THE worst pharmacy around. I went in today and the pharmacist was just standing there doing nothing and I stood there waiting for him to help me and finally another girl walked up and asked me "what I needed" and I asker where the probiotics were and she pointed her finger and said down that aisle. I looked and Looked and finally left because I could not locate any. Couple of months ago was in there and bought 10 cokes and the lady said-do you expect for me to bag all of these?!? I said it is easier to get them inside and if you don't want to just hand me some bags and I will bag them myself to which she replied ok and threw bags at me. NEVER again-I am DONE with that place and I will tell everyone I know NOT to go there.

  13. I made a complaint to CVS Corporate Office on July 03, 2012. Our family has an on-going problem with the pharmacy in McCalla, Alabama. They do not have our prescriptions filled for pickup when they have phoned us and told us our order is ready. We are met with rudeness by one of the pharmacist at the store on two occasions. I have not received any feedback when I contacted the corporate office and the problem continues. I will no longer do business with CVS.

  16. This year alone, the local CVS I use for automatic refills, has put the wrong prescription in the bottle, noticing the wrong pills in the bottle i called them immediately and was told the Mfg change the shape of the pill, I doubted that ,so when I went to another drug store to ask what this pill was, I found out it was a heart medication that I certainly did not need and may have caused me severe harm.
The first 2 times I just accepted their apology, not this time, this time I am going to have a lawyer handle this matter. Just be careful and check your meds, the stores are under employed in the pharmacy's and they make alot of mistakes, so be well and good luck.

  18. I've had decent service with CVS for the time that I've been using them. It wasn't until my doctor upped the quantity of medication I was to receive that CVS took a turn for the worst.. Albeit CVS received an electronic and paper prescription record from my doctor for the new prescription, they demanded to call and verify that it was indeed correct. They denied allowing me take even the normal quantity home for the night to relieve severe pain caused by a broken back and neck injuries sustained in a MVA. They promised to call the doctor first thing in the morning, but they didn't until I called them at 11:00 am.

As of right now, 2:15pm I am still waiting on a response. I have already spoken with the doctor who verified that it was sent electronically and there is no issue. My doctor decided to half the new quantity to twice the original quantity even after verifying the new quantity with CVS because there are still "issues" according to CVS.

My complaint is not from not receiving the new quantity, but of the pharmacists denying my right to pain management and causing me to endure another night of pain after making me stand at the counter for fifteen minutes as they filled and counted the medication with my injuries..

Headquarters will be receiving a certified letter.

  21. I have a complaint for CVS located in Oak Park, Michigan. 9 mile/Coolidge. Tuesday Sept. 25, 2012 at approximately 8:20 & 9:00 a.m. I tried to go to my bank to take out money but there was a man who followed me off of the street into the Parking lot, so I decided that I had better not get out of my car. So I just left. I proceeded down the road until I arrived at CVS Pharmacy. I then went inside to purchase 3 items. 2 kitkats 1 bag of funyuns, I also stated to the clerk that I needed cash back from the machine. So once I put in my debit card I clicked on other and pressed in 50.00 dollars; However I was only able to receive 35.00 dollars I stated " oh so they won't let me receive 50.00 the clerk said ..." that's right were a Pharmacy, not a bank"..."BLACK PEOPLE" I ask her what did she say, she walk away from me. I then told her that I was going to my own bank but there was a man in the lot, it did not matter what I was talking about because the lady was not listening to me anyway.
When she came back to the register, I ask her for a refund because I did not appreciate the remark she made. I tried to be Dignified about the comment, simply because folks seem to think that black people are just ignorant and we do not know how to conduct ourselves in public. That's why I just requested a refund. Simply because I knew I was going to go further with this incident. I called the store manager, he stated she should not have said he is sure she did not make a discriminating remark to me, simply because she been with them for X-amount of yrs. so I told him give me coorporate number and address because I did not want this to be swept under the carpet. So I called coorporate and made my complaint..I did not deserve that comment that was said to me, also receiving money for the debit/credit pad at any store is not a color thing, it's for anyone who may need money at the spur of the moment. It's not like the money is free, because it's gonna be deducted from you bank account. So the shit she said ...." BLACK PEOPLE" what was that ??? was she incenuating that we want a hand out or something of that nature ???? because that was my money from my own bank account. So she was wrong in every aspect........THAT WAS RACIAL DISCRIMINATION......on all levels......

some merchandise that I was interested in on a display on the main isle at the front of the store. The price on the merchandise was wonderful so I decided to stock up on it.
When I got to the register to pay for it, I was informed that there was a limit on the quantity. There however was no such indication on the sign on the display. It seems to me that this is a form of false advertising. It's bad enough when most of their merchandise is priced at 50 cents to a dollar more than the HEB just across the street, without misrepresenting something that could be a positie deal.

  25. I was just at a CVS in Grove City Ohio...I tried to use the postcard, which offered me $5 off any purchase as long as I used my debit card. I tried to use it to purchase a greeting card which was $4.49, $4.80 with tax. I told the cashier I was using my debit card and she INSISTED I had to use the $5 off next time I was in the store. After a minute of arguing, she then CHANGED her story telling me that unless I had $5 or more in a purchase I could not use it. I told her I did NOT want change and to use the $5 card. NOPE, she flat out told me rudely that I could NOT use it but if I wanted I could add something more to my bill and pay the difference. OH I see, that's how CVS gets you to spend more in their store. I made her reverse the charge she had already put on my debit card of $4.80 and walked out. I have always purchased all my scripts from there, and a lot I might add as my daughter is a diabetic, but not from here on out I won't. I'd rather go across the street to Walgreens or Giant Eagle. I know my business will not hurt CVS but hopefully corporate will read this and train their employees better. So disappointed in this store!

  28. I live in Sacramento California and have been a CVS customer for many years. My local CVS is located on Howe Ave in a small neighborhood shopping center that serves an aging population. I like the way CVS calls me to remind me that my prescriptions refills are needed or ready for pickup. I find the staff at this store to be, friendly, helpful and polite, and it pains me to know that I seem to care more about your employees than you do.
Today, I went to the store around 5:00 PM, and as I waited to pay for my goods, one of your employees was apparently, getting off work. The busy manager, asked her to come behind the counter, where she stopped ringing up purchases to inspect the employees purse and bags. Upon finding nothing out of the ordinary, the manager, said to the employee, "Looks good. You can go." Startled by this act, I blurted out that I didn't think I could work anyplace where I wasn't trusted. The clearly embarrassed manager explained "they" didn't want to make the search but were required. I presume, this meant by you, the corporate office. Might I add a few words on this?
    1) Your greatest asset, is not me the customer, or any other of your other customers. Granted, customers keep your business going; however your greatest asset is the people that work for you. They are the face of the corporation, the ones with whom we interact, the ones who help us, the ones we expect to handle critical decisions regarding medicines and who give us advice. Surely the ones with whom we place such trust in assisting with our health issues, are worthy of a similar trust from their own company.

    2) I would like those of you at the corporate office to ask yourselves how you would feel if you had to get up each day and go to work for somehow who considers you little more than a thief. Inspecting employee's personal property is tantamount to calling them a thief.

    3) Not only did the search indicate your distrust, it sent a message to the public that your employees must not be trust worthy, so their integrity is further diminished, because if you don't trust your own employees, why should I? Why should I shop at CVS?
I know there are certain challenges that come from working in retail. I once worked at Marshall Field in Chicago, and also Williams-Sonoma, here in Sacramento. I have never had my employer search me. Stealing is a crime. If an employee steals from you, he or she should be fired and prosecuted. The penalty should be increased based on what they steal, for example; drugs or controlled substances. I hope that you will rethink this distasteful practice, and if you must search your staff, find ways to do it with more discretion. Perhaps you could have them leave at some private entrance where it won't be witnessed by the public.

  36. I am insulted by CVS on the act of the employee wearing religious tie and crosses because someone complained it insulted them. NEWS FLASH, land of the free... we are a Christian nation under GOD and if that bothers you get out of our country. I am upset that CVS reacted. I have been using your pharmacy for quite some time. I am no longer proud to say I use CVS pharmacy and will have to change. Shame on you!

  37. I think that it is crazy that you are not going to sell tobacco. Candy, Sodas, Chips? Are those next.

  38. I saw on the news that CVS was going to stop selling tobacco products in their stores because of health reasons. That's fine!!!! My question is... what about alcohol sales??? Have they calculated the number of people that have died because of alcohol whether they drank it or not. For instance, because of alcohol 29 innocent adults and kids died on a school bus in May of 1988 in Carrollton, Ky. When did cigarettes cause that many deaths at one time. I do not understand why alcohol does not seem to be taken as a serious problem in our society. Maybe because we have a lot of "social drinkers" within our government???

  39. My local CVS on Hickory Flat Hwy in Canton, GA is SUPPOSED to open at 7am. My daughter and I were there promptly at 7am this morning to pick up one item she needed for school that day. The doors locked and not an employee in sight. 7:06am two employees pulled in and proceeded to go inside and then lock the doors behind them. At 7:10am a third employee pulls in so I asked her what time the store opens and she told me 7am and then apologized for being late. I was FINALLY able to enter the store and make my purchase at 7:10am which in turn made the traffic at that time of the morning worse (school buses everywhere) and made me late for work. Thanks for nothing CVS. If you are to open at 7am how about arriving at 6:50am to make sure this occurs???!!!
