  1. I asked the butcher if he had andoullie sausage and he said no, but yet I found some. I asked him to grind it, he said he only grinds beef. I asked the manager (Darnell Kirby at Ralphs store 292 on Cloverfield in Santa Monica, CA) if the meat could be ground up, he said I'd have to ask the butcher. I said I did, but I was told they only grind beef. He said, if that's what they said, then that's what they said! I said why is that, you don't clean your equipment? He said, "TIME OUT! TIME OUT! (Putting his hand ove the tip of his fingers of his other hand, as a ref would, while leaning in towards me.) I just told you to ask them! And if they said no, then that means NO!!" I was very shock by his rude/threatening behavior. I asked for his name and General Manager's name. He told another employee to give me the Corporate number. (I guess being that they have a union job, maybe they are secure in their job and can treat people anyway?)

      Dear Mr. Dillon,

My family and I have Kroger shoppers for as long as I can remember and we have also been Kroger Plus Card holders.

No doubt that is value added card and in this economy, who couldn’t use a few extra pennies to pinch here or there that they are earning for their loyalty to Kroger. We shop regularly at your Kroger Stores and, therefore, enjoy using the Kroger Plus Card points when filling up at your gas stations.

Sadly, time and time again, we find that someone has helped themselves to our Kroger points and used our points to fill up at another gas station out of state. That is theft ! And while at first we thought: Well who could be doing this? thinking that we might have the same Plus Card # for two different customers, we learn now that it must be someone within your company who is stealing our points as recent as 7/28/13 when someone in Cincinnati, OH used our points when we were in AR and at the end of the day back in Memphis, TN. Two hundred of our points got used on 7/28/13 at Kroger #405 which the computer search shows to be your HQ city and state.

Mr. Dillon, we are infuriated! What kind of people do you employ at your company who are stealing from your customers? This has happened many times now, and we have changed our Kroger Plus card numerous times trying to avoid this thievery. Yet it keeps happening. Now, we see that it is within your HQ that someone is helping themselves to your customers’ Kroger Plus Card points. This is outrageous!

This reoccurring incident is beginning to make us think twice about shopping at your grocery chain where thieves are stealing from within. Makes you wonder how many other Kroger customers they are stealing from?

A very concerned and appalled customer

  2. I understand the frustration. Kroger off lascassass pike called me and told me my id was found. I told them I would be back up there to get it. It took me a week or so to get back there and they couldn't find it so they tell me they shredded it. Shredded it? Who does that? But anyways I call up there today and talk to the manager about it his name was chris martin seemed nice enough and told me they didn't do that so he was gonna investigate it then calls me up to say its their policy now to shred them after a week. I told him I was not mad if they gave the id t someone I knew there and I could get it back cause I know people there but their sticking to the shredding story. So if u lose anything at kroger b sure to get it in a week or they will shred them.I think if u lose an id and someone at the store finds it they need to hold on to it longer than a week. I will be calling a lawyer about this.

  5. To whom it may concern:

My husband and I are in the middle of a transfer to New York. I was living in Plano, TX, we sold everything and are now in Dallas waiting for our transfer. In the meantime, we have many prescriptions that we transferred to your NEW KROGER STORE at 4901 Maple Ave. Dallas, TX., As this is very convenient to where we are staying in the interim. Your Pharmacy there is UNREAL, I transferred our prescriptions to THIS store from Tom Thumb for the convenience. I went today to pick up what we had transferred to this store. The Pharmacist was rude, mean and not willing to work with us. My husband is Federal Employee of the Dept of Veteran's affair's. He had the nerve to tell us that KROGER would not give us the $25.00 transfer gift card,NOR would he accept the coupon we had for my husband's diabetic medication. He said that we are FEDERAL employees and we are exempt for any transfer gift card or any coupons. This is biased and discriminating, I have already spent a few hundred dollars at this location on groceries, not to mention the prescriptions we have transferred to this location. My husband went in to the store after work today, the manager on duty and the pharmacist, would not accept the coupon for the medication, said it was against the law for a federal employee, said we could not get the gift card because we are federal employees, so what the fuck? I am going to contact my attorney regarding this, this is pure bullshit, Tom Thumb NEVER rejected any coupons we had, so your stores can fuck off.................See you in court.........

  6. I shop at the Kroger in Versailles KY. I have had surgery and I parked in a handicap space, as I was park two female Kroger employees stared making loud and rude comments about me not being handicap. As I was getting out of my car with my cane they louder and ruder with their comments about being a fake. As I walked towards the door they started laughing making fun of me. I have never been treated like this in my whole life,I was so hurt and angry. Your employees need to learn compassion and caring for their customers. And that people really are in need of compassion for others.

  7. Monique Bailey My friends and I are customers in your store at 4901 Maple Ave Dallas, Texas 75235. We live in a shelter on 4815 Cass St. Dallas, Texas 75235. We shop in this store every day either with cash or food stamps. We sit in the wi-fi area and buy food to eat and use the wi-fi. Three days ago the supervisor, Elizabeth Smith came to us and said we are in here everyday and and asked a whole lot of other questions in front of other customers. It was embarrassing to all of us. We do not cause any problems with anyone or steal any products in her store. She said if we are going to be here everyday we have to sit in the staff lounge. It upset me the most because I'm from New York and the wi-fi stations we go to are not like this. As long as we buy something, we are not discriminated against. I haven't been back until today. She is not here. We all feel that this matter needs to be solved with a solution. Hopefully it will. Thank you.

  10. I shop at Ralphs in Woodland Hills, CA, Calabasas, CA and West Hills, CA - these are my local stores. Ralphs advertises lower prices - this is not the truth - only way to get lower prices is to buy in quantities of 4 or 5 or 10. Does Kroger think we are idiots? I have found that the prices on other than quantities of 4/5/6 are higher in Ralphs than other local stores. The Ralph's higher prices are not in pennies but a dollar or more than others.

Stick by your advertisements of "lower prices" and do something to assist the consumer or others, as I, will stop shopping at your markets.

  14. I was told my check could not be accepted because there was a returned check on file and to clear it up I had to call a certain number. The girl at the counter was not pleased that I was using her phone to do so. It turned out my check was OK. After being embarassed, being treated rudely by the customer service person at the store, and having my time wasted, I was finally checked out and told I had saved $10 by shopping at Kroger! No apology, no explantion, just I saved $10. I called when I got home and eventually was told that sometimes a clerk will enter a made up driver's license for someone they know and that number contects with someone's account - in this case mine. The lady said she was not sure this is what happened, but it could have been.

  18. Kroger is/was my favorite store to shop at, but I have to say, I will not be shopping there anymore if what I heard on the news is true, that Kroger will no longer be taking coupons as their prices are all ready low enough. What??? Also that they will keep their prices low so there is no need to use coupons??? Someone even stated that it wasn't fair for some people to use and save with coupons, and others can't because some people didn't have time to cut coupons out so it wasn't fair to them. What??? I spend between $300.00 and $600.00 a month on food-gas ect. at Kroger stores and I will stop shopping there if my coupons are not allowed anymore. I'm sure Walmart or another store would like to take my coupons! Kroger I can't believe you are planning on doing this! Do you really want to loose $$$ by not taking peoples coupons? You are refunded by the companies for the coupons so it's not like you are loosing anything by taking coupons and letting people save a little if they are willing to take the time to cut out the coupons that the company's give them. You should not discriminate against people. Kroger I do not see this turning out good for your company as I'm sure you will not only loose my money but lot's and lot's of other coupon collectors money. Bad choice on your part!

  20. I went to Kroger in Mesquite off I30 and Beltline. It was my favorite grocery store until Tuesday, July 9, 2013. As I was walking, I saw a brown tshirt that stated "TEXAS, most likely to secede". I became very frustrated and annoyed as I walked arouund getting my groceries. As I checked out, I asked to speak to the manager of the store, who I asked. "Why are you selling a political shirt, I know that Gov. Perry has stated this stupidity but a grocery store should stay away from all political statements. He replied that the shirt really means that "Texas, most likely to succeed". I was appalled at the notion that this man actually finished school and was a manager and didn't know the meaning from "secede" to "succeed". Needless to say .....I will no longer be a customer of Kroger until they remove that shirt from ALL of their stores. I will be calling your corporate office as well.

  22. what is Kroger coupon policy? The employees don't seem to know, especially the catalina coupons. I can go to 3 different kroger that will give me the coupon and go to two others that will not; if you go to the catalina website it states as long as it is manufacture you can redeem at any store so if the coupon has Meijer, but manufacture it can be redeemed at Kroger and vice versa. I should not have to travel an extra five miles because this Kroger will take the coupon, but the other one will not. Get the coupon policy together. one Kroger the store manager was so rude about it. I almost left my whole order, but I was out of time and needed my items.

  23. I called the 1-800-krogers to complain about a store manager not taking my manufacture catalina coupon that had Meijer on it, the customer service rep. told me the policy is whatever the store manager says. Really, isn't Kroger in Michigan all the same company, or the policy varies from store to store. the customer service rep. gave me a okee dokie answer and told me to use the blog, Really that's why when you shop at the Meijer several of them the policy is consistent across the board meaning it is the same. I also did a little test and sent my white friend in the Kroger on Garfield and Canal with the same coupon and they took it. What does that say for your company. MMMmm.

  24. I am mad the Kroger stores in Huntsville, Conroe and Willis, Texas do not understand the concept of "pastel" cake icing colors. I love their frosting, but it is impossible to walk into any Kroger store, and just pick up a decorated cake in white, with white buttercream icing, with a pastel color trim. I like them just for desert sometimes. You also cannot find their coconut cakes anymore. I am really mad they have gone to the dark dark color trims and even frosting, as you can taste the food coloring in them, not to mention the FDA has said food coloring causes cancer. I asked twice for an ordered decorated cake, to have pastel trim. I got them with the same old dark green dark blue, dark red trims. I had to send them back and tell them to make them again, in pastel. The girl at the Huntsville store, said, "Oh you mean BABY BLUE, BABY PINK"; didn't even know what pastel was. I want light colors. They are pretty and you cannot taste the food coloring. Anytime I order one and it is made correctly, I cannot walk out of the store without 3-4 people commenting on how beautiful the cakes are. I also want to bring back the coconut cakes. What has happened to the kroger bakeries? The people in charge do not listen.

  25. 2 times I have been to the Kroger in Wabash Indiana #875 at approximately 9am both times and I had to wait to send a Western Union Money Gram because the only person who was able to run this type of transaction was on break. I too was on my break and had to wait at least 10-15 minutes for the person to come back before I was able to process my transaction which in turn made me late getting back to my job. Either you need to see to it that staff is properly trained to meet customer service needs or have a policy in effect that staff must return from break if no one else can process the transaction. I will make sure that next time I find other alternatives to conduct my transaction elsewhere.

I was looking for a certain item that I always buy there, I didn't see any on the floor so I was going to ask the woman ( her name tag said Patricia) as I was approaching the bakery counter she turned her back towards me as if to speak to a coworkers so I waited a few minuets and she started cussing at the coworker telling her to shut the f-up and calling her the b-word ,I ask myself what kind of people do they hire at that store, maybe I could of over looked it but I had my child with me, I'am outraged at the kind of employee's that work there, and the language that the woman was using, I did call corporate office and did complain, and to my astonishment she is still employed there!!!! they real need to take the complaints from there customers more seriously, when it comes to something like that, its been 2-weeks since I called corporate office and like I said she is still there so beware shoppers of Krogers store that's one bakery dept. you don't want to go to much less take your children with such language!!!!!

  32. I have been a long time customer of Kroger in Sachse, TX. I don't know what has happened to that store but the people working behind the customer service counter lack customer service skills. I was trying to get a money order and another customer was standing at the window completing several western union forms. Instead of asking the lady to step aside to fill out the forms, she allowed her to stand there and complete them. There were several people in line waiting for service. After waiting for almost 10 minutes all of us walked out. Also, while the customer was filling out the forms, the employee walked over to another counter and rummaged through her purse to give keys to, what appeared to be, her son. The manager came over and just walked into the booth and walked back out again. There were several ways this could have been handled. The customer service rep could have asked the lady to step aside to complete the forms or the manager could have opened up the other register and started helping the other customers. This store has become very poorly run over the past 3 or 4 months. Another example is the employees at the deli. Some of them hate working there and express that fact in front of customers. I have heard them talking on several occasions about how bad Kroger is to work for and how awful some of the other employees are. We haven't shopped at Kroger in a while and my experience today reminded me why.

  34. I have shopped at City Market in Delta, CO for decades, but regretfully will not shop there again until your silly open carry policy ends.
Erika Soto Lamb, said on Monday that “Kroger employees shouldn't have to determine whether the person holding a gun in the frozen aisle is someone dangerous or someone making a political statement.” I say customers shouldn't have to determine that either. So until your policy of knuckling under to the gun lobby ends consider me an ex-customer.

  35. I am wondering why one of the largest companies in America throws away so much food from their deli instead of donating the nightly leftovers to an organization. We have hungry children, elderly, or disabled who would love to have that food. Or even the store workers. Anything other than throwing it away. And no, I am not connected to any organizations or workers. I am just a customer who asked what happened to the left over food at the end of each night. I think this needs to go world wide thru the internet. You could be the pattern for other large businesses.

  37. 1 Problem: HP Printer not connecting to my laptop.

I had an issue while connecting my 2 year old HP printer to my brother's laptop that I had borrowed for starting my own business. I used a quick google search to fix the problem but that did not help me.
I then decided to get professional help to solve my problem. After having received many quotations from various companies, i decided to go ahead with Online Tech Repair (www.onlinetechrepairs.com).
Reasons I chose them over the others:
    1) They were extremely friendly and patient with me during my initial discussions and responded promptly to my request.
    2) Their prices were extremely reasonable.
    3) They were ready and willing to walk me through the entire process step by step and were on call with me till i got it fixed.
    How did they do it
    1) They first asked me to state my problem clearly and asked me a few questions. This was done to detect any physical connectivity issues with the printer.
    2) After having answered this, they confirmed that the printer and the laptop were functioning correctly.
    3) They then, asked me if they could access my laptop remotely to troubleshoot the problem and fix it. I agreed.
    4) One of the tech support executives accessed my laptop and started troubleshooting.
    5) I sat back and watched as the tech support executive was navigating my laptop to spot the issue. The issue was fixed.
    6) I was told that it was due to an older version of the driver that had been installed.

    My Experience
I loved the entire friendly conversation that took place with them. They understood my needs clearly and acted upon the solution immediately. Being a technical noob, i sometimes find it difficult to communicate with tech support teams. It was a very different experience with the guys at Online Tech Repairs. You can check out their website www.onlinetechrepairs.com or call them on 1-914-613-3786.
Would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs help fixing their computers.
