  1. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF GETTING INVITATIONS TO JOIN THIS NETWORK THAT PROVIDE ME WITH NO WAY OF REFUSING. THESE INVITATIONS ARE THEN FOLLOWED UP WITH SEVERAL REMINDERS. I HAVE NO DESIRE TO BE PART OF LINKEDIN. PLEASE STOP THESE IMMEDIATELY. IT IS DESPICABLE TO BE HARASSED IN THIS WAY. AND YOUR PHONE NUMBER MAKES IN IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE. PLEASE STOP ALL CONTACT WITH ME AT ONCE.

    1. You have no right to say take a chill pill to this person as I too have experienced the harassment emails, Linkedin also makes mistakes on your account and then 6 weeks later they are still not fixed which makes you look bad professionally. The next time you want someone to take a chill pill, I will be happy to continually forward those emails to you and see how you like it!

    1. You should refer the possible terrorists immediately to the FBI.

I had people attempt to defraud me of money. I am putting a complaint with the US Attorney and a request for them to investigate.

  6. the tech support at this site is non existent. I had a group with over 10,000 people and it went down and has been down for over 5 days and I cannot get any help! And there is no way to contact them!

    1. Tech support is useless as I have been waiting 5 weeks for one thing on my main page to be corrected! They make nothing but excuses as to why they cannot fix the problem so I know how you feel

    2. The support is abysmal... They hide behind email and policy. No interest in providing true customer support. At a minimum they should provide live chat if they insist on not proving telephone support. Very unhappy.

  7. Recently, Linkedin sent invitations in my name to all persons on my e-mail circulation list, apparently by hacking into it. This was not well received by some recipients. I resent this, and warn Linkedin they are going to be the defendants in major suits for invasion of privacy, etc. if this idiotic policy continues.

    1. I had this happen to me as well. It went out to everyone I work with which was embarrasing...made it look like I was on Linkedin while I was working and had nothing better to do. Additionally, I moved states to start over for several reasons but it alerted those who I really wanted left behind a chance to find me. NOT GOOD.

How would you like it if a stranger came to your house and watched your children, this is how kids, teens, adults get kidnapped, murdered and slaughtered.
I was not aware of my personal information on the internet.

I don't want to be part of this, this is harassment and illegal ex-poser.
My family is in danger because of Linkedin.
(How would you like it if a stranger came to your house and your relatives home, where your children sleep)

  13. Walmart started out in Reynolds, Arkansas in 1962 selling cut rate merchandise (crap that people didn't need)... but Wally Mart knew American needed to spend money as by that time spending money with God emblazoned on it had become a form of prayer. Wally Mart realized he could make money simply by advertising crap as the 'lowest possible price'... which is what he was selling.

What brought Walmart to full throttle? Women's panties! Ten for a dollar! And in an environment-- the Bible Belt-- where a woman could still get her face slapped for saying panties in public. Now people could talk about sex by talking about cheap panties! Women had panty modeling parties and men who wore panties went insane.

Due to Walmart offering cheap panties to sexually inhibited puritan America it ushered in the sexual revolution, the women's movement and the gay rights movement.

I 'jest' wanted to thank you Walmart for helping to change America... before we nationalize the crap out of you.

  16. Imagine... freedom of speech on LinkedIn... again...

    Complaint on Forum:
"Flagging this thread is of no value. Many of us have flagged threads like this but Linkedin tends to do nothing about it. For real professional value you need to connect to a closed thread."

    My response:
THIS IS AMERICA! THIS IS MAIN STREET USA! This is what makes America great... what makes it that shining city on a hill: Freedom of Speech! This is a market place for sure with all the promotions posing as discussions ...

But LinkedIn also represents a market place of ideas. Ideas can come from anywhere, even from humor... especially from humor as Mark Twain believed. And that is why it is so important to continue to fight for the freedom that at least some of the Forums espouse.

Yes the fascists and the theocrats will always try and limit free speech but by upholding the rigorous idea of keeping speech (or in this case writing) free we are upholding what America has become... a bastion of free thought.

... at least for one brief and 'shiny city' moment... less…

  19. There is a woman in Creative Designer and Writer who has made public suicide threats and she still post without her remarks going to "pending" She is brass and abrasive to the other members.

I take responsibility for my words. This woman has no idea what she is posting yet she is allowed to post anything without reguard to who she offends. She has made references to a man as the porporton as a "hamster dick' and referenced to gay as "fudge packers"

She is not the only person with BEYOND free speech. A woman in the White House group took a post that I had written abouth the attemp of sucide of my son an dpreceeded to down me as terrible parent and said the she would spit in my face if she saw me on the street.

This woman is posting without restraint.

I know that it's not what you say or how you say it...it's who you influnce. Words can really hurt you.

What about the affect this has had on me.

  20. Doc, congratulations! You have one of the top 1% most viewed LinkedIn profiles for 2012. LinkedIn now has 200 million members. Thanks for playing a unique part in our community!

SO WHY AM I BEING CENSORED!

Oh... I know why now... LINKEDin is being sold!

  21. Maybe U can get this on ... Marie Ann Ward who owns this Group says the
censorship occurring on these AOD sites is totally due to Linkedin's
intervention... comments "pending review" are never reviewed as the owner
    or moderator cannot view them!

EVERY POST IS NOW SENT TO "THIRD PARTIES"

"There is little value in ensuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.” – John F. This is absolute irony! Someone posts in Spanish but the person whose discussion question it is cannot freely post at all... this is more than censorship it is malicious bullying and I and others are taking it up with LinkedIn management!

I have never complained about anyone's posts... but I'm a professional... now I'm going to start!

  26. LinkedIn is a monopoly that thinks it has powers to change any thing on the site whether it's user friendly or not.
They do NOT pay attention to queries for help or support. They will NOT get on the phone with anyone.
Someone needs to start another company like this to give them a run for their money.
Me??? I'm canceling my entire company's subscription (150 people).
They all can go to hell.
