    6. Yahoo needs to improve their blocking of SPAM mail. I've used their filters as SPAM and have it go to the spam folder, but I continue to keep getting hundreds of SPAM E-MAILS per day from the same ones that I created a filter for. Yahoo is the worst of all e-mail accounts that I've used. Yahoo needs to have a click on button to BLOCK e-mails from coming in, not just putting them in the SPAM folder. So fed up with this- it wastes a lot of time each day!

  2. Dear Yahoo,

I just filed a complaint with the FTC, against your company, for censoring my views on your message boards, even though what I posted did NOT violate your policy in ANY way! You simply did not agree with my views.
This practice by you, needs to stop!

I keep getting a pinkish-red "informatiom block" that states that I am not allowed to include URL's or e-mail in my comments.....but I have NEVER included URL's or e-mail addresses in ANY of my comments. It's simply a way to block comments that are not in lockstep with the Liberal person who does not agree with my view....so he censors my comment; thus blocking my right to exercise free speech on the Yahoo Home Page articles comment section..

  8. Yahoo told me that my email was compromised. I thought it could be true due to the fact that for 2 weeks I was deleting 3 pages of Mail Daemon, failed mail everyday. Folks were calling me saying they received strange mail they did not open, that I never sent! Yahoo gave a security script, I typed it, then I gave a long new password, which I forgot the next day. After many attempts to remember I was locked out of my account. Navigating to get help I found a yahoo Global Security Internet partner that yahoo directs you to. They wanted $149.00 to help retrieve my password. I have had my account for many, many years and this has never happened. I am suspicious, did yahoo do this so that now service can be sent to their partner. Just curious. I really have years of information and pictures on my account. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

  20. This is the email I tried sending to info@yahoo.com, yahoo's help service

    To whom this may concern:

I cannot begin to tell you fucken pricks how irritated I am with you right now. When I just got up today, I discovered that my account was hacked and that there were emails sent to everyone on my contact list. After seeing this, I went to your site and looked for a way to contact you people so that you could rectify the situation and potentially find out who did this. And you know what, nothing was there; what a shocker for a legitimate company like Yahoo!

Now that I've tracked you people down and have found your site, I would appreciate it if you could figure out what the hell happened to my account and who did this. Also, I would like this email to go to upper management so that they can see what their lack of effort and convenience has done to the quality of service, which is shit. Furthermore, I am expecting a reply with an answer of how this happened and with a viable solution of how to stop this from reoccurring in the future.

Please note, to whom ever this concerns, that this is not a personal attack on lower level management or on service employees. Rather, this email's purpose is to create awareness of a problem that needs to be fixed.

    Yours,
    Max Davidoff

  26. I have had a Yahoo e-mail address for well over a decade. I decided to change the password so I attempted to log on (from an address in another country I have been in for 8 years).

Yahoo tells me they don't recognize the address I'm logging in from as mine so it's refusing to let me log in (notwithstanding I'm using the correct password).

So what options does it give. Request a new password online. How? Log in!!! Can't log in so what's next?

The only alternative is to have the new password sent to my original e-mail address when applying for the e-mail address!!

An e-mail address with a host I left over a decade ago. So that's clearly no use.

So what's the third option? Contact Yahoo......

Have you ever tried to contact Yahoo? Impossible.

Oh unless you log onto your account and do it. Oh wait, I can't do that because Yahoo won't accept my legitimate address and password.

So to summarize: For "my security" Yahoo won't let me log onto my account so, if it's been hacked, only the hacker has access, not me.

    Good thinking Yahoo.

  36. Dear Yahoo,

Are YOU aware that any interference of my personal and private emails are in fact of violations of my HUMAN RIGHTS under Article 8 of the H.R.A. 1998 and in doing so, YOU are in fact ENDANGERING my life !

I live in a very precarious position where I fear my window could be smashed behind MY HEAD at any time of the night and whilst you may be instructed by the UK Government to interfere and DELETE as many emails as you possibly can, THEY are also endangering my life too.

I suggest that you read the evidence which clearly highlights that I am a victim of death threats, long term harassment and many YEARS of HATE CRIME which are driving me to a very a SUICIDAL STATE as local and national housing authorities are playing God with my LIFE.

If you can't run a service without local governments interfering, deleting ;or blocking emails, then please consider as to whose lives you are endangering by ALLOWING IT TO HAPPEN. I am more closer to a heart attack caused by STRESS as many emails sent to the E.C.H.R are being returned to me which serves me no purpose as I live in fear of MY LIFE every NIGHT since 20 December 2011 and not YOU !

This email and many others from either xxxxxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.co.uk and xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.co.uk are my ONLY source of communication to the E.C.H.R. and they may need to know of more legal evidence which the UK Government would prefer they did not know of.

I therefore DEMAND you leave my emails alone noting that many was sent to the E.C.H.R. which now appears to be DELETED by Yahoo too adding on more stress and killing me ! THINK OF YOUR ACTIONS BEFORE YOU INTERFERE WITH MY RIGHTS! YOU ARE KILLING ME ALONG WITH THE UK GOVERNMENT.

I am trying to save MY LIFE !

RE: The use of my personal photography

To Whom it should concern :

I suppose I am like a lot of yahoo users, in requesting to use my own photos on my yahoo mail and home page.

Is there a reason as to why we can only use someone else’s work and not our own photography of our lives and surroundings ?

I don’t know what kind of deal was made in this process for it to take place but, I as you can tell, I am not happy looking at the selected artist works.

I am an average amateur photographer but, my pictures interest me more, than those of others, experiences. My pictures are mine. They are fond and bittersweet memories of my life so far. Even if some will never be any clearer when I took it, I will know what it is. At least it might make me smile or laugh or cry.

I have just recently started using flicker to upload some of my photos. Is there an option to use my own photos on flicker, to my yahoo.com account ?

What will it take to be allowed to use my own images on my home page and my email page ?

After all Face Book allows the user to post their own photos.

I understand there have been many before me to ask this question and I am sure there will be many to come after me or maybe I have missed the option to use my own, If so, please send detailed instructions as to be able to enjoy this process.

    Signed,

Ms. Marissa A Mayer. i am contacting you this way because you will not respond to mail, phone calls and customer service request.
On April 3 2014, I sent you a packet of my personal photos for you and your teams approval for me to use on my own yahoo home page. I OF COURSE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM YOU OR ANY ONE. I presume my photos are in the life shit can of yahoo.
as of November 10 2014 I have called and left a message for you to return my call with an explanation of your bad behavior and not customer friendly service.
I am at this time on hold with customer service, by the way their contact number has changed. it is now 800 318 0612. when I called the first time I did not mind waiting, but I was disconnected. so at 12:29 PM Central Standard time, I am calling back to see if there really are warm bodies in your so called customer service department.
all I want is a legitimate reason as to why I and others can not use our personal photos for our yahoo home pages.
I don't think this is asking too much.
