I have been a Sears customer for over 30 years, and my parents for over 6o. And my Grandparents too. My whole family has lived by there products ans services for over 78 years. Being from Chicago Sears department stores always treated you by your proper name when you came in as a regular customer. I owned several properties and only used them for what was needed. And, stll do.They have always given me, and my family 100% quality and service. I recently had a problem with a outlet store after purchasing a refrigerator in Tacoma, Wa.. I became ill and was unable to pursue the matter. But, when I called them today they corrected the problem immediately. My suggestion to those buying make sure you are buying the proper product that suits your needs. Read description in full, and make sure you measure your space, and read the details! Read your service extension agreement when you buy it. And, ask if it is in stock or not when you purchase it .And, call if you have any questions. They are and have always been the most reputable department store to buy from in the last 78 years. I will always count on Sears. And, know they have always given me, and my family the Best service possible. Most the problems I read on here, where problems that could have been avoided by the consumer. I am a Sears for life customer. And, now so our my children. So please do your home work before you buy something, and as for what is in stock. Sears stands behind there product, and their services. A good Proud American Company, I am proud to be a part of. Thank you for you top quality service for 78 years.

Mrs Carolyn Blake
Unbelievable...My truck (Silverado) was being worked on and I was given a voucher to rent a GMC vehilce. When I arrived I was told all they had was the Cobalt. I'm 6'5" tall and 266lbs. Really..this dinky car. when I returned the car 5 days later, the mgr asked me how my expierence was. I explained and he said how can I make it better. he gave me a 10% discount the next time I rent. Really??? 10%? I had to laugh.
ReplyDeleteThey screwed up like that with me and gave,me $20 off
Deletejust to let you know, in portland ,oregon i was given a rental with bird poop
Deleteon two windows , said sorry and they were busy... the exterior of the car was dirty
again she was sorry..i don't drive cars in that condition...
gave me a reduction in gas...don't want a deal , just quality in life!
I have been renting from enterprise car rentals for many years.I have rented moving trucks and cars. Now all of a sudden I cant rent from them. I don't under stand this way of buss. But o well used too like doing buss.with you
ReplyDeleteMr.Frank Denham
Huh? They just don't pick on you and say 'sorry' you can't rent from us! Only if they have to repo a rental or constant credit card fails or something like that. How come you did not post the reason! I do not work for ERAC and I dont rent from them either.
DeleteTHEY DON'T PICK YOU UP IF YOU ARE OUT OF THEIR AREA!!!
DeleteYEA Right, you don't work for ERAC or rent from them why are you making comments!!!
Enterprise used my credit card without my authorization I will not use them again. When I contacted them they did not apologize until I asked for one. They tried to justify using my card without my permission (what the heck is going on with them) Beaware
DeleteWe used to use Enterprise all the time. But for the last couple years, they have been less than accommodating! When visiting another state, they wouldn't rent to us because we had an out-of-state driver's license - really? Plus we only have a debit card, not a credit card. I don't understand the problem there - they get their money immediately. So anyway, they tack on a $200 fee for the debit card use. Plus they want 2 utility bills for proof of address. Now who carries their bills with them when traveling?! We're all done with Enterprise. We have no problems or hassles with any of the other car rental companies.

DeleteI used to rent 4-5 cars a week from Enterprise in Fairview, New Jersey..The cars are great and my staff loved the easy in and out service..In 2005 a non authorized rental was made under our account, We called and straightened out the problem..Now I went to rent from them again the problem is still in the system, and no one can figure out why..I went back to Hertz at least they are all on the same page with their accounting paperwork..
ReplyDeleteEnterprise wants to double bill me for,my car, rental because they can't follow a paper trail
Deletewow Enterprise is a real winner for keeping records ...
DeleteAll I can say is "DO NOT GO TO THE MONROEVILLE PA ENTERPRISE" I have never in my life dealt with a bunch clowns....They are so rude,I cant believe the company keeps that Team together. The manager Jen (what a real winner) NO CLASS TRASH........I even called their manager, she was no better....REALLY......
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteTo who it may concern
I’m concerned about your service to your vehicles. On our trip to Los Angeles when we returned our vehicle into your location on bellanca in l.a.x we saw some people doing oil changes to vehicles in the parking lot next to the return lane. I’m concerned about the maintenance service to your vehicles as I watched the people doing oil changes I didn’t see them do any inspection of the vehicles. I’m letting you know about this because I don’t want to rent car and have it break down on me and then you try to charge me for something that might be your fault do to poor maintenance of your vehicles, also I made a report to o.s.h.a As I don’t think this is safe for people to rent a vehicle that is not properly maintained. I asked one of the employees what they were doing to the cars and said they were changing the oil to rent out again. I’m sorry if this causes any problems but I think you should be more careful of maintaining your vehicles for the safety of us the renter’s witch you need to watch out for, as were the ones riding in your vehicles.
THANKS ROBERT T. WILLIAMS
I have been using Enterprise in New London for almost a year now and just wanted to say that the staff and service there are outstanding. They are not only well informed about the services they provide but professional and always make every transaction to the benefit of the customer. They go out of their way to accommodate you in any way that they can. They take the time to find out about your personal needs and will do anything to make sure that you leave satisfied and happy. Everyone there is an asset to your company from the managers down to the people who clean your car. My sincere thanks to the driver who always picks me up. Corporate should be proud of the New London office because I will never use another rental agency because of them. Give them the bonus and recognition they so much deserve. Thank you to Enterprise New London.
ReplyDeleteCalled to contest a toll charge where the EZ Pass did not work. A major pain, and being charged the toll plus penalty, because no one at Enterprise is smart enough to understand that the invoice amount is not the actual amount needed. The WORST is that when I asked for the phone number and address for corporate, I WAS REFUSED!!! What company does this?
ReplyDeleteI agree! What a disgrace!! I had the same experience...I passed a toll ($2.50), & the crooks at Enterprise charged me ($20.00). What a shame!
DeleteCheck your gas gauge before leaving Enterprise. I have rented cars from various rental places and they all say fill tank before returning it or we will charge you and fill it for you. My 83 year old mom rented a car from Enterprise in Glendale, Ca and drove down to a charity event in downtown Los Angeles that lasted until 11:00 pm. When she got in the car to leave the gas light went on. She was downtown Los Angeles where skid row is two blocks away and no gas station in site for miles. She did not look at the gas gauge when she rented the car because she thought she had a full tank. From Glendale to Los Angeles is about 20 miles. When she told Enteprise about it they said On Well I guess it just got returned and we rented it out without checking to see if it had gas. Never compensating her like giving her a 10% discount for her trouble. It is a good thing nothing happened to my mom when she was down in skid row or I would sue them to the max. I never had trouble with Enterprise in the past maybe employees in the Glendale office need to be fired for their OH WELL attitude!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI made arrangements to pay Enterprise back. They could never tell me what I really owed until I return the car cleaned and ready to be taken back out. You got money out of bank account without asking so for thanksgiving we get to have red beans and rice. I will never rent from you folks again
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have money issues to begin with. So my question is, why are you spending money on a rental car anyway if you can't afford to pay them to the point that you had "red beans and rice" for Thanksgiving. You signed the contract that gave them permission to take their money for their asset that they can't make any money off (they are not a non-for-profit organization....SHOCK...like I feel you, and many people, may feel) of if you have it in your possession and not paying for it. If they didn't ask to take the payment out (which they do not need to...you already signed the contract) that means you probably ignored their phone calls and messages. Good luck trying to rent anywhere else...they don't accept cash or Debit Cards without at least a $500 deposit and a credit check. I'm sure you'll be back to ERAC in a week, finding something else to complain about.
DeleteI did not quite understand this person's complaint but your reply was nasty and unwarranted, furthermore it does not speak well of you. If you feel so strong about something the least you can do is add your name to the message.
Deleteyour reply to this person was unwarranted and nasty. What is the purpose? Why the anger? you must be an Enterprise employee, correct?
DeleteHAD THE SAME NASTY, SNARKY TONE FROM THE WOBURN MASS BRANCK MANAGER RORY O'DONNELL, NOT SURPRISED TO HEAR THE SAME FROM OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, THE APPLE DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE!
DeleteI know what this guy is saying because the dumb ass idiots at the enterprise on 7th st in phoenix did the same thing to me. I rented a vehicle for 18 days paid 715 then got one on my insurance they called after a week and tell me that my insurance only reserved it for 3 days and demended that I pay out of pocket I said let me call my insurance company because that is why I pay for insurance and my car is not even done the guy told me no and I became enraged and said I will call my insurance and they will call you which they did and got it straight. I spoke to the manager and she said sorry and to only deal with her which I did. Then my car still was not done on the scheduled time my insurance reserved it was not done until a Saturday at 4:30 pm and in ghetto Phoenix you can not drop cars off after hours. On Monday I called my insurance guy to let him know I was dropping off the car he had not answered I turned in the car with the quarter tank of gas that I got it at the manager knew this but was not there on the Monday I turned it in. Then I check my bank NO CALLS were EVER made to me without warning I was charged $160 plus the $40 deposit for a car for 2 days!!!!! I called livid and some stupid idiot named Brendan kept interupting me until I became enrage and started cussing telling me that I didn't even pay for gas!!!! You see what I mean the stupid idiot did not even know what me and the manager had going on!!!! When I told him I was calling corporate he laughed at me WOW REALLY?! You losers who does that I had a rental for over a month which means I was your biggest customer probably all year and this is how you treat people!!!!! I used to love ERAC now they are just a bunch of thirsty low level scum bags there are so many cars you can rent from regular people off craigslist without all this bs let these losers go out of business! They treat people like crap because they know the insurance companies only use them but they'll lose enough business and go under eventually
Deletewow...I didnt know so many people were victims of enterprise, it's terrible, I too had a hard time. went to one e-prise facility to rent a van for a week had a great experience with Micheal in Kennesaw, Ga,didn't know about the 10 dollars a day if you go too far outside of your state though. when you make reservations on Expedia, or hot wire, non of those stipulations are on there. but Michael heard what I said and waived them. after returning a van I had for a week, my personal truck died on me so after leaving the repair shop I make a reservation at same facility to rent a car for a week, because of time constraints they were closing at 6 which was the time for the reservation, Brant transferred it to a branch closer to me which also closed at 6. I call to inform them i'm on my way and get there the young lady was very rude, coat on and ready to go... would not let me rent a vehicle because i did not have a utility bill with me,since I chose to not use my credit card because I just used it for the van I returned the same day. she was rolling her eyes, waiving hands in the air getting loud and adding full coverage ins. and I had already opted not to have it on the reservation site. she tried to use my credit card for total amount anyway and I just told her not to. she said it won't go through so I need a utility bill.I told her there was nothing on the site that said I had to bring in a utility bill if using a debit card. it said quote," enterprise excepts credit card and debit/check card deposits." I left without a vehicle and was so upset, that type of service is why I left enterprise years ago and went to hertz. just fyi- business 101, if you want people to rent from you through a third party make all of your rules visible so people can be prepared.. who carries their utility bills around. What will that prove. NOTHING! taking money from a debit card upfront is the best way to get paid because you get it right away..I am a business major, do I need to come work for enterprise to straighten up their non-professional outdated rules and teach these reps how to present courtesy to their patrons. they need to take a lesson from Hertz...

DeleteToday I attempted to rent a car from the NJ RT 23 Wayne office. I waited an hour and a half to be picked up actually from 1:15pm until now noone has shown up for me to get a car. The worst part is that because they did not pick me up to get a rental my daughter was left alone outside of school awaiting my arrival for over an hour. Thank God a friends parent saw her asked her if she needed a ride home. I am thankful for those people. But what kind of service do you provide. When I called the office all they said was they were on there way. Does it really take over 8 hours to pick up a customer???? That was only 15 minutes away from their office. I have used enterprise for many years and believe me everyone I know will know what kind of service I recieved
ReplyDeletePlease do not rent from the Enterprise location Centennial Center in Northwest Las Vegas in the dealership the Customer Service is very Rude and Very Bad if you are renting with a Debit Card they want you to give references as well as where you work and who is your Supv this is very degrading and appalling Have rented before and is a member did not have to do all this this location is not what i want to experience I have better luck at the airport and anywhere when i travel out of town this is really un called for and if this keeps up i will not patronize this location ever!!!! And they are liars and dont know how to conduct your transaction i know how it works you hold 350 but you chg 78.47 cents when you bring car back not the 350 dollars i have never had tht with budget, alamo, hertz,so im hoping you train the clowns of this location else i will take my business elsewhere My understanding is Enterprise is suppose to have great service and i have rented from you several times Im very disappointed!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband has been a preferred customer of enterprise for years. I went online to reserve a standard sized vechile for the weekend of 12/2/11-12/5/11 at your 803 W University Dr, Denton, Tx location. Upon arrival as your computers were down, I patiently waited to be given a downgraded vehicle, intermediate size, but was called when the computers supposedly went up to get my credit card info and was told by then manager, Chelsea, that I would be called if a standard sized vehicle became available, I would be called the next day and could swap out the vehicles. As the next day was Saturday and the store closed at noon, I was not called, but later that day drove by the facility there were at least two standard sized vehicles available. When I returned the intermediate sized vehicle on Monday morning, the 5th, the computers were again down and I did not get a receipt; but was told I would have one by the end of the day. I repeatedly call the facility and was put on hold numerous times, until 6pm when I was informed they were closed for the day (I was told they were open until 6:30 pm). Again, on the 6th, I called repeatedly and when I finally spoke to Joseph Bridges; I was told I was charged a rate that was incorrect and I had been charged for 4 days, instead of 3. My husband went to the facility and was told the problem would be corrected and I would be called. I was not called and finally called again and spoke again to Joseph, who was much too "slammed"; his words to be helpful to me. When I told him we would be taking our business elsewhere, he was very flippant and said, yeah, well sorry. As of 5 pm on Tuesday the 6th, I still don't know what was charged to my card. It is pretty obvious to me from that your corporate office is not interested in complaints about your facilities; as I have read many complaints. I will be turning this facility into the Better Business Bureau and if I ever do use another enterprise, it will not be at your Denton location. All they did was pass the buck, when it came to responsibility for all the errors and inconsideration I received.
ReplyDeleteEnterprise is awesome! They are a large company, of course not every single employee can be 100 %!
ReplyDeleteWowwwww have you read all the complains ? Everyone in different states and all of them were the same sooo what that is saying enterprice as awhole does not offer great or even okay customer service even corporate SUCKS :-)
DeleteI have been a customer with enterprise for 11 years strong and only dealt with one location. Over all the customer service was ok, but the cars are horrible, never clean you have to go to the car wash yourself. And if you are not white you will not be treated with equal service. That is just my comment
DeleteThe debit card policy sucks! I arranged to rent a car for this weekend to only find out that I would not be allowed to rent one with a debit card because I have do not have an utility bill. Well my utilities are included with my rent and my cell phone bill is payed by my employers because I work as a Nanny. So, I dont have any utilities bills. I have a monthly bank statements proving my address, a recent voter's card, student loan monthly updates and school letters all proving my address. If you all secure the amount on the card before the car is released, what difference does it make if I pay my bills on time. I'm not buying or leasinga car, I'm only renting it for a couple of days, The only reason I need a rental is because my car needs a catalytic converter replacement and had to go in the shop. However, Christmas is this weekend and I would like to visit my family.
ReplyDeleteEnterprise is ridiculous, especially to their employees but in their defense, what would you require to rent your car to a complete stranger who you do not know nor never met in your life? You think an unsecured Debit Card with a $100 deposit would be good enough for you? You really think you would let an unknown person rent your car for the weekend without some kind of definite proof of where your asset would be or could be found if someone decided not to return your $15,000 asset? I think you should rethink your reasoning or use a secured Credit Card next time, then you do not have to worry about all the hassle. But if they did not give you a call before hand to explain to you what needed to rent with a unsecured Debit Card then shame on them.
DeleteWowwwww sounds like a enterprice employee lollll
DeleteI would like to reply to your comment above first off debit card or even a major credit card can be disputed and 9 times out of 10 the customer wins! And I have to agree their policies do suck ! I will also tell u I had the same problem renting a car when not going through my insurance company and will let you know the deer park, ny location is horrible and Dana conford and Katie were very rude to not only myself but my finance as well who had all of the paperwork and mocked him on how high his electric bill was. Excuse me who are u to say how high we pay for electric. He was completely mortified and shocked on how he was treated. But talking to another location a few towns over he was nice and going to rent to us, at this point I went to hertz Amd rented a car with no hassles. And a free upgrade and the staff was extremely nice
DeleteEnterprise did the same to me, I went to rent a car with a debit card and they were rediclous , I actually had a light bill with me and be cause it had a past due balance, Im a criminal and might steal the car. They refused to rent to me , State Farm was paying 80 percent and my debit card had the full 20 percent for the week. My rental car reserved by state farm was not there, they lied and said they did not have any cars available and I went to the lot , they were renting cars right and left, the woman in front of me walked in and had the choice of 3 cars.. I called the supervisor for the area and she defended her staff and informed me that my 1980 VW had come acrossed to them as "totaled anyway", after I told her I was uncertain of my vans status with state farm...I was devestated , my poor old bus was lost , I have been renting with enterprise since 1987, I would not take a free rental from them and I will never use enterprise again. I dont control the economy, but I can still chose to take my business where I still get some respect no matter what my financial worth ... The american people have suffered a terriable blow and we dont deserve to be treated like criminals because we are broke , the real bandits took the money and ran a few years ago. that just my opinion
DeleteYou all service and some of your policies are disgracing. You have gien me the bright idea to start my own car rental service where debit card users can still rent a car as long as they can prove their address.
ReplyDeleteNice.
DeleteThe Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport is fraudulent. They charged my account instead of the company account. Theybretained my billing information from a previous sale in another state. They refused to resolve the issue or return my call. Do not rent from them.
ReplyDeleteThe enterprise in simi valley, ca is HORRIBLE !!! I left my ipad in one of the rentals and now its missing.I called over and over again and all they did was give me attitude and laugh me off. They told me different stories that didnt come together at all. All i have to say is my ipad is now missing and im never going back there again!!!! Worst place in the world!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt happened to me too...Garden Grove, Ca...had just dropped off car couple hours before...called mgr...he said car was getting oil change...he said it wasn't there...carwash guy said he didn't see it...right...
DeleteEnterprise Car Rental in Greenbrook sucks! The Manager is RUDE. Rip off artists.
ReplyDeleteTried filling out an application...and as you know something is always wrong with Enterprise computers. Well it' jumbled my information. I was contacted back and told I wasn't considered for the following reasons which was total crap. I e-mailed back because I printed off my application page --by page. I don't have to tell you that jerk didn't call back to admit fault with Enterpise triling computers. Filled out and second application...and oh you've filled out already and can't apply again for an entire year...well destroy my information, and not only will I not use your company for rentals nor do I want to work for this company. And by reading all the emails with the information "some how" typed in incorrectly...it makes me wonder the people you have working for you or computers one are both need to be replaced.
ReplyDeleteI had the WORST experience with Enterprise at ORD Airport last week! There was 200 cars in the parking lot and conveniently only had ONE car that was available for a one way & shockingly (insert sarcasm) that it was a mid-size vehicle-which I didn't need. I needed the car for a one way for 2 hours and was told that it would be an ADDITIONAL $75 to drop off a car. The total was going to be well over $150 for a car that I needed for 1.5 hours. I told the gentleman who helped me that I didn't see that $75 charge mentioned on the website and he said , "Sometimes they don't put it on there." SO, let me understand that I get blindsided when I come in with all of these extra charges? NEVER, EVER again will I recommend using ENTERPRISE. I'd be better off getting a limo!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AND WATCH HIDDEN CHARGES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSIMI VALLEY ENTERPRISE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN....THEY STOLE MY IPAD THAT WAS IN ONE OF THERE CARS AND THEN LAUGH AT ME ABOUT IT....NOT OK THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAMERON IS A THEFT AND NATHAN THE MANAGER BACKS HIM UP ON IT !!!!!! MY IPAD WAS BRAND NEW AND I WANT ANOTHER ONE OUT OF ALL THIS!!!!! THIS IS ALL A BUNCH OF SHIT AND I WANT THEM TO GO DOWN!!!!! IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AND ITS NOT OK TO STEAL FROM PEOPLE!!! I WILL GET ANOTHER IPAD FROM YOU !!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Green Bay Wi office is not professional and have very poor customer service skills
ReplyDeleteI made reservation to rent a car from Enterprise location in Lufkin Texas two days ago. The driver came and picked me up but when I got there they refused to rent a car because I only had a BOA Debit Visa card. I told them that they can charge me the whole amount of the rental plus the deposit up front but the manager refused by saying that their company policy does not allow it. So I contacted the corporate office and first spoke with Tim and then with Joe. I then received a call from their regional vice president Chris Ivy. After explaining it to him that when I made the reservation the person taking my reservation did not mention that they do not accept debit Visa cards, he asked to give him time to see if he can work something out. But when he called back, it was the same answer. Enterprise rent a car has ruined all my weekend plans b/c of their incompetent management. I am making sure that everyone that I know and come in contact with me knows not to rent from them. They have not only lost me as a customer but the people I know as customers as well. I think you slogan should be "Enterprise will screw your plans up" rather than "Enterprise we'll pick you up"
ReplyDeleteAt least they picked you up. When I tryed to get a car (reservation made by insurance company) they didn't have a $30 car so they would not give me one. Wouldn't give me a ride home so I had to walk home along busy I-10 in Houston,Tx. Went to another enterprise later that afternoon to finally get a car and they offered rides to three female customers. I wonder if they won't give rides to white males.
Deletei just rented a car from brewton ,al and the car didnt even have hubcaps!!! Cigarette burns everywhere and it is filthy . To add insult to injury that was THE ONLY car to chose from!!! I MEAN SERIOUSLY that's how they run business!
ReplyDelete!!!!!SCAM!!!!!!! I been renting from enterprise for years. I just recently spent over $300 for a rental I only had for 3 days. When i returned the car I accidently left my Ipod touch in the car and they where closed so I couldn't call to let them know. When I tracked the Ipod it was tracked to the location that I dropped the car off at, however, when I went back up there to pick up my ipod they said the car was sent out for detailing and no ipod was turned in. They wouldn't allow me to look in the car and they didn't look in the location that I told them I left it in. I called the manager 3days ago and he told me he would look into it and get back with me. I still haven't heard from them yet. Just admit that one of your employess stole it and replace my belongings please. Why is it so hard for companies to do the right thing? I would hate to go to court over $200. I would never rent from enterprise again. Their reputation is slowly declining.
ReplyDeleteI love Lowes. However, the customer service at the Corpus Christi store is wretched. I feel sorry for the man next to us, the accused him of stealing his products e was returning because the beeper went off. Hello! Let's be professional and not interrogate the man in front of everyone. On top of that look at the security cameras...He JUST walked in the door! The rep helping us or lack there of, did nothing more than argue, raise his voice and NOT call a mgr when requested... After all, his reply "the mgr tell you the same thing". Tu shay...she didn't tell us the same thing but her professionalism was less than desirable as well. I will NEVER go back to that store and still contemplating going to any Lowes.
ReplyDeleteI will never rent from Enterprise again. I will tell all of my friends and family they should not either. I will tweet and facebook. I plan on going to the newspaper and taking it as far as I have to. I have already spoken to one of my college acquaintences who happens to work for corporate Enterprise. She put me on to what they do, so I will be sure to do the same. They will charge you for damage that they know you were not responsible for if they missed it when the previous renter returned it. Go figure. But they will have not seen the last of me.
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to my mother just this week. My mother is 75 years old and I want to fight back. I thought about disputing her credit card for the charges. What have you done about it?
DeleteHello Anonymous Feb 27th and May 4th... Two weeks ago on Aug.14th 2012 the collision center I took my car to got me a rental from Enterprise till my car was repaired. One of the employees took me to pick up the car from the car wash. I inspected the white shiney car as best as I can since the sun was beaming down on it causing a glare for me. The employee just stood there and kept saying to everything that I noticed the majority of didn't count. Anyways I leave with the car and about an hour later I noticed scrapes on the driver passanger door. I did think about calling them and reporting the scratches to them, but I figured since it had paint on it that they already knew about it and painted it themselves.Anyways, today when I went to return the car (Aug 30th 2012)they were blaming me for the scratches. I told them they were already there and that I assumed they already knew about it. I got so pissed and took the car to the car wash (which does business with enterprise) and asked if any of the workers can remember washing the car to find out if someone else noticed it before I rented the vehicle. Well that didn't work out good at all because the managers said they wash about 150+ cars a day and has over 18 workers. I drove the rental back to enterprise and told the manager once again I didn't do it. I even asked about the last person who rented the car if He got there insurance or not. The Manager who was assisting me (Skyler Thuresson of enterprise located in Long Beach CA 90802)told me that the man didn't get there ins. I figure either the man who rented it before me did it or he noticed and told them about it when he rented the vehicle. I strongly feel as if
Deleteenterprise knew about the damages being there prior before I rented the car, and trying to pin the measly $200-$400 dollar damage on me. The manager filed a claim with my insurance and I did also. I informed my ins company that I didn't do it and want to fight back! I also did my research to find out that this has happen to numerous Customers all over the U.S! I would like to team up with you folks and exchange some ideas I have planned. My name is Roxanne Leivas.. I belong to the National Association of Realtors; National Notary Association; and an Employee under Homeland Security. Please contact me at 562-786-0010 or via email socalroxstar@gmail.com It's not the money its the PRINCIPLE!!
It's been almost 3 weeks since i called and reported my ipod missing. i've talked to five different people and they all say the same thing "let me look into it and i'll get back with you" one things for sure they are very consistant because none of them got back with me. All i want is my ipod and my CD back please. this is unjustice and a very poor way to treat customers.
ReplyDeletePay attention when renting a car at Entreprise rent-a-car.We rent a car for 2 1/2 months in Los Angeles and in addition to the payments of the regular bills the Company charged our credit card with no authorization from our part. When we went to see them, asking for the reason of this charge, we didn't get any answer up to now.So we still don't understand what this money had been for. Their behavior towards the customer is very unprofessional and unefficient. We are back in our country now, but our credit card remains charged!!!
ReplyDeleteI just rented a car for 2 months, I was in over 7 cars because of brakes going out, oil changes, and bad gas mileage in compact cars. Their cars run hot, and rpms shoot high because they are all hot boxed. The communication on the tickets was horrible, at one time my deposit was up and other day there was nothing. I pre paid for the gas and then they called after I dropped it off and charged me over 60 dollars when I was supposed to drop it off empty. I will never rent from them again!
ReplyDeleteI had to turn in a car to the body shop and my insurance company has a contract with enterprise (MISTAKE). I went to the enterprise at 20777 katy freeway where I've had the reservation from the insurance company. Previouly I asked them if I need to give them a specific date and time when I would be in. I was told no because it was made by insurance company. I turned my car in, went to enterprise and was told they had no small cars. Insurance would only pay $30.00 a day. They had a truck and said I had to pay the difference. I said no and he said ok, he couldn't help me. I called insurance co, they called a different enterprise office and they told me to go back into the office and he would help me. I did, he said no change he wouldn't do anything. I could wait three hours for someone to turn in a car but I couldn't. He said ok he couldn't help me. I asked for his name and he gave me his card. (I found out later that he gave me his co-workers card, not his). I left his office and walked to my wifes work to get her car. I had to walk down I-10 and cross the feeder both ways trying not to get run over because he would not give me a ride home. Anybody knowledgable about I-10 knows it is not a road you want to walk on.
ReplyDeleteI will never rent from Enterprise again. I will tell all of my friends and family they should not either...they will charge you for damage that they know you were not responsible for, if they missed it when the previous renter returned it. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteBARBIE DOLL WORLD COMPANY..SERVICE IS GOOD FOR A CERTAIN ELITE GROUP OF PEOPLE....("SHOULD BE POSTED FOR WHITES ONLY")..WILL STILL YOUR MONEY' WELL CREDIT YOU ON YOUR NEXT RENTAL..YOUR SERVICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE WHY WOULD I RENT ANOTHER CAR.LOL THANKS BARBIE AND KEN
ReplyDeleteGreetings:
ReplyDeleteYou may be wondering why I am writing about an incident that took place over a year ago.
The truth is that I had almost forgotten it but, for your very popular public relations campaign emphasizing your incredible customer service policy. I think you should know what happened in Puerto Rico at the referenced office and make sure this does not happen again. I am sure the image that you want to have is the one which led me to rent from you for years wherever I Itravelled in the U. S.
On 1/14 2010 I went to the referenced office, as I had during several years, and asked to rent a car. My husband and I were to keep it for at least a month into 2011.
During the process the sales person that took care of us let us know that we could rent another car, other than the one we had originally selected and at a lower rate. It was a good car, he said, except it already had a high mileage (31,354 miles) and ”some” scratches. We went to the parking lot to see the car and overall, except for a wide collection of scratches, it looked serviceable. I, personally, did not want to trade our original car because this one was too dirty and had too many scratches. The savings however were attractive. (See the Rent-a-car Pre-Rental Vehicle Inspection enclosed).
During our stay in PR, through no fault of mine, another car, at the supermarket parking, scratched the front bumper on the driver’s side. One more scratch among the multiple scratches the car already sported. After much discussion between your people, I grew tired of the situation and accepted responsibility given that AMEX would not cover the accident. because there had been a break in the contract as it was for over 1 month and the accident occurred during the second part of our rental with no interruption. I did not know the duration of the rental affected coverage. I was advised by AMEX that if I had leased rather than rent we would have been covered. The option was never presented to me.
Though very annoyed at having to pay for a scratch among dozens, I asked for an estimate.
When the estimate arrived I felt I was being charged to paint the entire car.I still do. (See attached copy of impaction dated December 12. 2010) The entire process was very negative to the image you want to maintain which was further damaged by the arrogance of the personnel handling this matter. At the end I paid $373.27 for a scratch in a fender of a car that was probably scheduled, given the mileage and its condition, for a full car paint job.
Since this experience in PR I am no longer a client of your Puerto Rico location.
Just to make it clear, I am not asking for redress of any sort. I simply wanted to get this of my metaphorical chest.

I would have given a perfect score for customer service in the past but this past week I had a horrible experience with this company and I will never do buisness with them again. I will pay 3 times there rates and do business with another company. I called the corporate headquarters and was promised a return call and I never received one. Just goes to show you that they really do not care about long time loyal customers
ReplyDeleteEnterprise company is becoming very unprofessional. Geico and Cysler dealership has a contract with this company. Customers go to Hertz please. Enterprise hires young children who don't have any professionalism or respect. When you call they are disrespectful and I had to call corporate headquarters hoping they would call back (Enterprise). Boycott enterprise customer go to Hertz or Budget. Start a website against this enterprise company.
ReplyDeleteI just got stationed to ft. carson and my brother came in to visit so i decided to rent a car from enterprise and it was the worst ever................... I came there when there were only 2 people in front of me and ended up being there for 2 hours he kept letting people in front of me returning cars and etc. when i went to return the car another guy was there and ask about my time with them n i told him then he gave me a 20 gas card for the next rent... Then i get a call the same day asking what could he do for me to make me wanna come back n i said refund my 250 deposit back and he said noo he ll give me a next time car for free and that i was taking advantage of him and i called corporate n mr. EARL was very rude and said they cant refund cash back sorry go to another place... I have never been sooo disrespected with a company who says they value customer service... Please please go to a different company they r only having weekend special b cause they r losing great customers with they re horrible customer serivce...
ReplyDeleteMy family has been using enterprise for many years and I have never been more exasperated and upset with any company as I am at enterprise. My family was flying to DC on a vacation and renting a car to come back to Charleston. Simple enough? We thought so since we have rented many times from you before and had spoken to and confirmed every detail of our trip with someone on the phone at least 4 times. When the vacation was done and all we wanted to do was go home, we walked up to the kiosk (that I had just spoken to on the phone 1/2 an hour earlier) and they refused my reservation saying they wouldn't accept my visa debit card or South Carolina ID. I explained, already in tears, that if they didn't honor the reservation, we were stranded there with no way to get home. I explained that I was an enterprise plus member and that I have rented with the company many times before. I begged him to please help us. He just stood there and shrugged his shoulders and said "Cant help you. Try Alamo next door". I asked for a manager and he then said that he was the manager and he still couldn't help.
ReplyDeleteI have rented nuerous times with a visa debit card, and all I had to pay was a deposit. I also confirmed and re-confirmed this with everyone I have spoken to on the phone. Never, not ONCE did anyone tell me that my debit card wouldn't be honored at the airport location, nobody told me when I made the reservation that there would be a 200 dollar drop fee (which i learned later but was still willing to pay). Your company makes it impossible to do business with and your customer service sucks. Your company doesn't care about anything or anyone and you hide behind your "enterprise plus" card.. It didn't do anything for me. To leave a family of 4 completely stranded in a strange city is shameful and should be criminal. I am a decent, respectable responsible person that just happens to have made the decision not to have a credit card. Your company made me feel like I was the dregs of society. Please know, I will make it my personal mission to let every single person I know and see about what your company has done to me and my family and i will never use enterprise again.
I rented a car through Hotwire. When I went to pick up the car they told me that the car I reserved was not suitable for my trip and charged me $7.00 per day for an upgrade. After returning the car that kept pulling to the side, I double checked the HotWire reservation and found that the car they gave me was part of the models on the reservation. There was no upgrade. I called the 800 number and was told that I had to contact the rental location. When I did, I was told that Hotwire uses a different specification crap. I will write corporate and BBB. Enterprise needs to get its act together.
ReplyDeleteREALLY!!!!! AGAIN!!!!! rude rude rude in the Fayetteville N.c office
ReplyDeletePhoenix is no different...incompetent and RUDE!!!
DeleteI found out the hard way how enterprise values it's customers. We needed a car for a few months, so we went to enterprise because they quoted the lowest business rate.
ReplyDeleteThat rate was obviously meant for President Obama, since he won't be renting they can say what they want.
Every month we had to fight with them to honor the price they gave us and unfortunately for them we had it printed out on hard copy. BUT when it came to the last month they hit us with every charge they could, none of it was listed by description only codes and there was three pages. We called, wrote and went into their offices looking for explanations on the charges nothing but promises of collection agencies.
We were trying to work it out it seems they were ready to go to court.
The quoted monthly charge should have made it small claims court material, but with all the extras coded but not explained charges brought it to over a thousand dollars.
They refused to explain the codes and not only expected payment without explanation but they were ready to file.
I've never been taken to court and would have never have expected to go there for a car rental and we couldn't believe they were so Hell bent on collecting or taking it to the Supreme court.
We never found out whose lunch we were paying for, whose porno we were buying and how many whores we paid for to come into the Gainesville Florida office to keep them company, and for what we were charged the whores had to be there for more than one night.
On July 2, 2008 our family needed to rent a car for a short time while ours was being repaired. We rented a car from your facility at 540 N. Cass in Westmont, IL. The car was in pretty rough shape - enough so that I remember cleaning the inside myself. Before l left I remember inspecting the outside and noting, to the staff, all the damage I saw. As we used the car we found the trunk lock was damaged also so we called to report it so we would not get charged for damage we did not do.
ReplyDeleteFast forward to this past Thursday when I went to your desk, confirmation in; hand to pick up a car in Vermont. The staff was gracious in reporting that I was indeed on the do not rent list due to a damaged trunk lock and they could not rent to me. Of course I was surprised and had to dig deep into my memory to recall the details of the first rental. When we called the Cass facility, they had no record of it but the man said he’d “take care of it” but gave us no confirmation number or assurance that it was taken care of. My sister, who was traveling to Vermont with me, was able to rent but that also meant she had to drive the whole time.
I have confirmed that I am not on the list any longer but really that is not enough. Why on Earth would I be able to get all the way to another state to find out your records show me unable to rent? Why on Earth was I on the list to begin with? Why did it take 4 years (!) to find out there was a problem? I find your business practices as shoddy as the maintenance on the cars you rent. There are many other choices for car rental. I will be sure to remember from whom we should not rent in the future.
We are business professionals and never experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of concern in my life!!!. My husband and I called to Enterprise in Harford, Connecticut. National Drive, Windsor Locks. My husband spoke to a management assistant, Jamaal Johnson, arranging for a SUV, Ford with a week price quoted. When we arrived the agent told us that this arrangment was not true and so we asked for the manager. Dave Persa spoke with us and was the most irrigant, rude individual that I have ever met and was argumentative towards my husband and I and in front of other customers. He did nothing to help correct the matter that HIS AGENT created and continued to be rude. I cant believe that Enterprise would hire management staff like that to represent there company. He got us so angry and with insults and humiliating comments that it drove us into behavior that we have never done. Anyone of that calliber should not be in a position of customer service. Dave Persa's comment in front of ALL Enterprise customers that Jamaal Johnson "will be fired on Monday when he gets in". What type of business is this?? Jamaal had called prior to our arrival to cover for the phone conversation and major mistake that Enterprise made. This was told to us from another ENTERPRISE agent. DO not do business with the Hartford branch. Your asking for trouble unless Dave is trained better or moves on maybe caring for and mixing concrete, as hard and cold as cement and him!!!! He let us stay outside his building and kicked us off the grounds with many suitcases and with NO transportation. WOW!!! Who would do business with people like that...
ReplyDeleteI had a terrible experience with Enterprise in Ardsley, N.Y. Rented a car from Fri through Sunday and returned it by the keys in their drop off box since the branch was not open on Sunday. When they billed me through until MOnday, I called to ask them to correct their mistake. The agent told me it wass corporate policy to bill through Monday since the office is not open on Sunday. What! Why is that my problem? You provided a drop off box "for my convenience" then asked me to pay for the fact that you are not open. Huh? Needless to say, I will also never use Enterprise again. They may have had a meteoric rise, but they can fall just as readily. If all the comments on this thread are any indication, Enterprise may boldly go where they have never gone before--down the tubes.
ReplyDeleteI usually rent from this location 1-3 times every year. On 05/23/12 I rented a car from your Lake Forest location for a 24 period because my min van was being serviced. I have rented from Lake Forest Enterprise many times and felt I trusted the employees. When I picked up the car I was told to sign here initial here and the reason why BUT he did not ask me to walk around and check if there was any damages. He just told me there was no damage and just initial here. Me being naive to trust a place I always go to was a big mistake. During the time I had the car I picked up my kids from school and home. The next morning I dropped off the car there was no dent because I walked around the car to make sure there was no damage but about 45 mins I got a call saying there was a dent on the car the size of a golf ball. I was very upset of course, knowing very well I didn't do that. But it was NO use. So now I have to pay $615.16, money that could feed my 3 kids for 2 months. If I did do the damage I would gladly pay for it but I DIDN'T! This experience has left me felling angry, frustrated and disappointed.I would never be a returning costumer or would ever recommend anyone to Enterprise again. You can have $615.16 of mine but you will never have my business or referral again.
ReplyDeleteBy far the worst company in US.
ReplyDeleteThe worst customer service company in the US
That is why its a private company .
The president must be asleep while running the company.
It would not stand the scrutiny of a public company.
DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE IN STEUBENVILLE, OHIO!! I must say i8t was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Had called to reserve car 2 wks in advance. Got there and didn't have car available. Told that I would be called when a car was available and never was contacted. I called them later in the afternoon and was informed that a car was available that I could pick up. Got there and wanted to pay cash for vehicle and was then told I needed a bill with my name and address to do so. I was unaware of this and had talked with them previously regarding payment but nothing was said about this. Frustrated already they told me that they could drive me to my bank to deposit the money so they could charge my card which is insane if you ask me. Who doesn't accept cash? They also told me corporate was going to do away with cash rentals. What?! The staff was unprofessional and unaware of what they were doing and I'm not even going to get into all that because it would take too long. Just don't rent from them. I also called corporate about the issue and was told a regional manager would contact me by the end of the business day. Yeah, right. No call that day or this morning as I am still sitting here without a call and on hold for the second time with corporate office.
ReplyDeleteI made reservations online for a rental car called closer to time of rental to find out exactly how much I needed and when they told me the rate with insurance I was seeing if their was ways to make it cheaper cause I am on a budget and a family of mine was in a severe wreck in Wisconsin and wanted to see the family memeber before they passes away......well the guy from enterprise said if you are thatmuch of alow life and can't afford to go why are you........seriously I didn'trealize being on a budget made me a low life....well sadly my family memeber passed away shortly afterthe phone call so I called management the next morning to complain and they said ma'am sorry you thought you heard the guy say that but I can assure u you were just hearing things but I will make it right by giving you a day free on your rental....grateful for that part but to be called a low life and then be called a liar and nothing happen to the guy?........what happened to customer is always right may not use enterprise for future rentals
ReplyDeleteI have been an Enterprise Plus corporate customer since 2008, and rent about 20 days' rental annually. There is huge difference between customer service at Enterprise airport rental locations and their neighborhood locations. My biggest complaints have been with their neighborhood locations. Most recently an insurance company gave Enterprise authorization for up to $30 days for $30/day rental. I rented a car at $29/day for 19 days. The credit card I had given them for security reasons that Enterprise promised not to charge was charged despite third party information on the rental agreement and assurance by the branch manager that it was all taken care of by the insurance company. When I called Enterprise customer service for immediate credit refund for this unauthorized charge since I could not materially produce a copy of the rental agreement, they could not credit back this money. Absurd. This would have never happened at an airport location, where I am treated like royalty. Now I have to go back to this neighborhood location (15 miles away) Monday-Friday 9 am - 4 pm to see what I can do to have them bill the insurance company as they should have. Enterprise needs to train their neighborhood location people better.
ReplyDeleteI am a regular, loyal, although infrequent Enterprise Plus customer.
ReplyDeleteI wish to compliment an Enterprise employee. His name is Geoffrey M. Ferreira and he works at the Enterprise location at 151 Andover Street Danvers, Mass.
For years I've rented my car here every July and Christmas. Since I travel alone I only need an economy car, however this is the first time in many many years that I HAVEN'T be automatically up-graded to a larger compact car.
I must say that Mr. Ferreira dug in his heels for Enterprise; and despite the fact that I needed a cruise control because of a handicap, Geoffrey stuck up for Enterprise; stuck to the contract and gave me the economy without the cruise control feature.
He's doing his best for Enterprise and should be commended, however as a infrequent but regular and loyal customer,I wish that he had up-graded me so that my record would remain at 100%
Sincerely,
Robert Meuse
I rented from enterprise for 2 years,The first manager was stealing the payments have me payments go into his bank account,The next manager charges my credit card every week with a hold then wants payments and another hold sometimes $3000 on my card from them,Its crazy
ReplyDeleteYou can use this or its a new policy everyday
I go online to print my reciepts and it shows i rented 1 car in the last 6 months Why?
Is everyone a crook at enterprise
They want yo to take cars for oil changes, but wont pay for your time,They wont even give you a free hour rental
They will never work with you and there always rude and never wrong
Time for people to stop renting from enterprise
2 years at 800+ a month and they lost my business
I would of still been renting if the had a better system for long term customers and some better customer service and maybe got something right and not another new policy

I returned a 2012 Ford Focus rental car back to the Atlanta Airport on July 17. I got out, got checked in, and got my bags out the trunk. Then a worker got in, and I made my way up the escalator to the skyline train when I realized I left my PS3 Bluetooth earpiece in the coin cup holder or whatever that cup was for on the console where I placed it. I went right back down and told the manager in the rental return area. It took me altogether like 5 minutes from leaving the car and returning to the department. He called down to wherever they take the cars, and a guy said it wasn't in there. I knew then it was stolen. They brought the car up for me to look in it. Why? I don't know, when clearly it was already taken. The manager wrote down my name, email, and I think, my number. He claimed he was going to look into it and get in touch. I should've known that was a bunch of crap. After I made it home from my flight which isn't in GA, I got on Enterprise website looking for what can be done. I emailed them and told what happened. That was the same day, which was July 17. I ended up having to email them again on July 20 after no reply from the first email. I finally got a call from the Enterprise at Atlanta Airport, and the woman was like "I see you say you had to email again, and I'm sorry but we never got your first email." Really? Even after I got an email confirming that it was sent and a confirmation number?" She said there wasn't anything in lost and found. I told her I already know this and that one of their employees stole it. I even told her the manager knew this, and she didn't even know that. She basically told me there was nothing they could do and it can't be proven I left it in there or it was in there. What **! I said, "So you're telling me your employee can steal from your customers and nothing can be done about it." "Yes, sir, without any proof." For real! After back and forth debating on the issues, she had the nerve to say "Well, you can call the cops and take out a report." I said, "I'm 1000 miles away, and this is what you tell me. I even suggested in my first email to Enterprise that as your customer, I am held responsible to treat your property with respect; yet your employee stole from me. I feel as though your company should reimburse me for the Bluetooth device that was stolen from me." Unfortunately, as she claimed, that email never made it to its destination. I will never rent or suggest to anyone I know to use Enterprise Rental.
ReplyDeleteI HAVE A FRIEND WHO DID A FULL DETAIL FOR ENTERPISE AND NEVER GOT PAID.YOU CALL THAT A GOOD COMPANY.
ReplyDeleteBEWARE WHEN YHOU RENT FROM ENTERPRISE. I went out of town with a friend that rented a van from Enterprise. I was unfortunate to leave a nice pair of dressy shoes in the car. I realized and called them immediately the very next day. The manager said he would check the lost and found and there was nothing. I decided to make a trip there and ask in person. He was a big dude. He acted as if he never spoke to me but one of the reps described the shoes down to the brand, went to go get them and they were gone, supposedly all the crew was questioned and no one saw them. He said the van was checked out for a week and he would check the van, why would the thief put the shoes back in the van??? I went back to the space cadet and he was lost again. No shoes. It's obviously they employ thieves???? Beware when you rent from them.
ReplyDeleteI rented a car with them last week and was overbilled before I even returned the rental!!! When I brought this to the attention of the manager where I got my rental from he said that they were Pre Authorizations because I used my debit card and would go away. I tried to explain to him that they were not pending transactions that they were actual debits and he basically called me a liar and an idiot and told me i didn't know how to read my OWN bank statement. I turned in my car early and they charged my account again and this time for twice the amount. I have been transferred and pushed off on every department within this company and no one seems to be able to help me. As a result of their stupidity I am $300.10 in the hole plus the looming overdraft fees I am going to keep incurring until I can get this resolved. They only offered to refund $150.05 of the charges even after I have faxed over copies of the numerous transactions and bank statements! Never use this company. Hertz from now on for me!
ReplyDeleteI rented a car at a Houston location.
ReplyDeleteI am going to say this in the nicest way possible the Customer Service was absolutely horrible. Aside from the poor shape the car I rented was in I
was over billed for my rental. It has taken me the better part of the previous weekend and this week to finally be directed to a Regional Manager who
to this day as yet to return any of my phone calls or emails and to be told that i will only be refunded the amount of my original rental fee but not the
overages on my account due to the negligence of Enterprise staff. I have sent over my bank statement and everything and these people are refusing to help me! never again will I rent from this company! DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE!!!
I have been a customer for 7 years now but for some reason the last 2 (two) times we have reserved a specific car from the Wooster Ohio Enterprise office and both times we have been disappointed. The thing that errks me the most is that we make the request 2 to 3 weeks in advance so that we know or hope that the vehicle that we requested will be in. However both times we have had to settle for a lesser vehicle :(
ReplyDeleteI have found that I can go to anyother Enterprise office and request a vehicle in advance and receive the one I had specifically requested. Now why can I do the same thing at the Wooster Office? This Enterprise is a real disappointment to us :(
The main reason for us renting a car is so for comfort and gas milage.
I really hope someone from Corporate reads this!!
ReplyDeleteOn July 20th, my day just got shot. On my way to Charleston SC to meet my cruise ship (first vacation ever and it was my birthday)my truck's transmission went out in Grovetown GA. We called the local Enterprise in AUGUSTA,GA and they basically told us to screw off. They had no cars and weren't going to get any in nor would they come out to Grovetown to get us. There were boat races that weekend and all rental companies were out but the AUGUSTA people were terribly rude and ugly to me!
We searched and searched until someone told me there was a new Enterprise in AIKEN,SC. We called and told them of our situation and JULIUS told us he would do whatever to get us in a car! He did a fantastic job and got us on our way allowing us to meet the ship and not lose out on the money we put down on it!
When we got back, my truck still wasn't ready and he made sure we could have the car for as long as we needed it. JULIUS and the gang at the AIKEN Enterprise store went above and beyond to help us for as long as we needed it and really saved our bacon! If I ever need another car I will be heading out to see them and I live almost 3 hours away!
The people at the AIKEN store were super and will always have my business.
Seriously, they need a raise! JULIUS is the man and deserves to be recognized! I thank him and all the people at the AIKEN store so much!!!
I am a residence in the same community as interprise.
ReplyDeleteI live on 48th bet 8th and 9th ave and have been a residence
for 30years and for the first time inquire about a rental
and was told by the rep that I need a debit card and drivers
licence and I could rent a car. the day of the car was shown to me and I left my drivers licence home a block away.
I decided to ask stefan to reserve the call for me because
I wanted to get my licence well that day it rained and I had my son to call him to continue to reserve the car. I went back the next day and a carcasian women told me that she needed a copy of my con edision bill and cable bill. I now get ebills and nolonger get paper bills so I brough a old bill outdated for two months and she said that my bills had to be paid in full. now with this economy you tell me who bills are paid in full not even the rich because they have debts. she did not rent me the car I called con edison and asked to fax over the bill and then I got discussted and changed my mind. meanwhile their were four white folks the day off and was not asked for these bills although it is in the contract on the desk. I know with all the racial tention these young white male and females was not going to service me like they do the white folks. well here is what I will predict that if they keep on with this game they will continue to suffer the same hardship as us black and the rest of the culture in this world. no one ever blames bush for the money he spent on the wall that left this country bankupt and no one speaks about the debt that we owe china. china owns america so these so called smart asses that work at interprise because they cannot afford nor do they have what I have they can get a break because they work their and that is why they are thier anyway because they don't have their bills paid in full who are they kidding.
I was given a dodge charger to drive while my car is in the body shop from a car accident. An I should have known better from the first time I rented a car with enterprise in Gurnee IL this car was filthy and smelled I asked for another car and they told me this is the only one available, now for the second time the car had stains on the seats and the in side roof on the car. then when I went to look under the driver seat for money I drooped I found a condom wrapper. This just tells me they don't care about there cars and I will never rent from enterprise in Waukegan, or Gurnee IL ever!
ReplyDeleteI was taking my family on vacation and rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Evansville, IN. The customer service was nice when I picked up the car and the vechile was nice as well. No problems there BUT I was overcharged when I returned the car and everytime I call to talk to the manager, I am told that he/she is busy is will have them call me. After 2 weeks and calling everyday, I still have not heard from anyone. I have even went there in person and was told that the manager was not in! Now I am more upset over the poor customer service than overcharge!
ReplyDeleteDo not use Enterprise, they will take advantage of you in a bad situation. I was rattled after being in an accident in which my car ended up being a total loss. Since Enterprise in Conway, SC didn't have a small car available in which would have been covered completely by my insurance company-they gave me a full size auto and charged for full size auto. It wasn't my fault that they didn't a smaller car available! Since this took place while in route to our vacation destination, I had limited access to go to another rental agency. My car was towed back to Charlotte NC and I purchased another vehicle at a dealership within walking distance of a Enterprise on Margaret Wallace Charlotte, NC. I left a message on their voice mail on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 at 7:30 pm after hours and get this -your message is very important to us and we will call you back the next business day. At 9:30 on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 I had not heard anything back from Enterprise on Margaret Wallace Charlotte NC, so I called them back. I spoke with a man that claimed they didn't get my voice mail. He indicated they would get it picked up and I would hear back from them if there were problems. Since I prefer a confirmation that it was taken care of, I called back at 5:20 on 8/31/12 and spoke with a lady. She assured me it would be taken care of and she would call me back. At 5 mins. before their closing, I called back and spoke with her again-she was going finish up with customer and call me back. Guess what-I didn't hear back from her. I have place a formal complaint and have been promised that the Regional Vice President will call me back within 3-5 business days. I will not hold my breathe based on my current experience with Enterprise. I did inform my insurance carrier of the situation and they are also going to call Enterprise in the AM and inform them that today was last day they will be paying for the rental! How can something so simple be so screwed up. What happened to good customer service and follow through!!!!
DeleteEnterprise Rent-A-Car has charged my debit card multiple times without my authorization.
ReplyDeleteThey told me that they were only going to charge my debit card $160.37 which would leave me owing a $0 to them. Now they have charged an additional $900 and I don't know what they might do on 8/22. I am in Europe, and this is causing me severe financial difficulties. What can I do to stop them from running my debit card without authorization?
Call your bank
DeleteEnterprise don't care about how the car smells or looks, just as long as they have customers to rent cars. Enterprise even though they have policies that state "No Smoking", "No Pets Allowed";, they won't do anthing about these customers afraid to lose their business. Not only they won't uphold their policies they constantly overbook and when they don't have anymore cars to lease they will cancel customers reservations.
ReplyDeleteI reserved a full size truck 2 weeks ago .After awaiting over 2 hours after the pickup time I still have no truck.
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't get my truck yesterday so now my daughter has to spend another night in a motel. They just told me that the truck has been pulled from the fleet. So I guest Iwill need to call U Haul.
ReplyDeleteAppears a lot of negative feedback for Enterprise!!!

ReplyDeleteI have been a loyal customer of enterprise rent-a-car for many years, but when I needed them the most they abandoned me in my hour of need. I ‘m a military service member who currently resides in Roswell, NM but since my unit is stationed in El Paso, TX I have to commute. I was given orders to report to Fort Irwin, CA for training but in order to go I had to be put on the same flight as my unit, which just happened to be at the airport in El Paso, TX. Since I only have one vehicle between my wife, our infant son, and myself I decided to leave my personal vehicle behind and take a rental car instead. Roswell, NM only has two car rental companies and since Enterprise was one of them I decided it would be my best option since they are the only company I’ve used for the last 7 years. Upon receiving my vehicle I was satisfied with the customer service I received in Roswell and I was also surprised at how easy dropping the car off in El Paso was as well. Once I came back from my 5 week assignment in the Mojave Desert I was expecting to pick up another car to get back to my family in Roswell but things did not go as planned. After the Enterprise agent pulled up my reservation he told me that my name was put on the “DO NOT RENT LIST” and because of that I was not able to get a car. At this point I had all of my luggage, no family, and no transportation to get me back home, which just happened to be 205 miles away. The agent tried his best to help me and gave me a number to call to have them take my name of the list and once I called the number and explained my situation I was told that they would put a temporary lift on my record and have a manager call me back in 15 minutes. After sitting at the airport for OVER 2 HOURS I did not receive a single call nor was there any change to my record. By the time I tried to reach the same person I talked to earlier again the office had already closed and the agent at the desk could do nothing to help me. The only reason I was able to make it back home to my family in Roswell was because the two car rental companies that reside in Roswell are Enterprise and AVIS. I was able to get a ride with AVIS at a much more expensive price but it only took 3 minutes and I was able to make it home. At this point I can’t picture myself ever going back to Enterprise because I don’t ever want to feel that helpless again. I don’t know what I would have done if I had my family with me and I had no way of getting us back home. It’s been over two weeks and I have yet to receive any kind of phone call or email from Enterprise since the incident.

I have had the worst experience with renting a car. Do NOT rent from the Enterprise located 1097 Ogden Ave in NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS. The manager KELLY MIKITA will NOT let you finish your sentence and basically is saying that you are LYING!!!!! Horrible office. They gave me a van that had an expired license tag, engine light on, no fluid for the windshield wiper. BAD Management!!!!

My 26 year old daughter was out of town. In Griffin Ga working when her car broke down. The Ford dealership could not get it fixed until 4 days later. They took her to one of your stores to rent a car. She was told since she did not live in GA she could not use her Visa Debit Card. We ask the if we could take our major credit card to our Enterprise to rent it and was told in a hateful way NO. It has to be seen by us.. I will never use your cars again. We live a one of the biggest tourist towns in the US and always take everyone to Enterprise. NO LONGER and I will SLAM your company every chance I get. It is sad to know that my daughter was stranded and couldn't get back home without us driving to pick her up !!!!!
ReplyDeletefor good reasons more than one I have nothing but disdain for enterprise rentals. as a matter of fact I am looking into bringing legal action against them. they are awful.
ReplyDeleteenterprise rent you disgusting dirty bird poop on the windows cars, when question , say that they are busy .inside of car smelled like wet dog. this happened in portland , oregon.
ReplyDeleteseems like like this is happening nationwide.starts from the top ?
My father got into an accident so I was taking him to rent from them. As I was pulling in; someone who works at the Enterprise of choice backed in to my car. After I was laying on my horn for the last three feet of his journey. I looked up and saw every employee who works there staring out the window. But when I needed a witness...they saw nothing. They have no surveillance. They have no private insurance. So I'm screwed.
ReplyDeleteDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE BROOKPARK, OHIO COMMERCIAL TRUCK OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband was in an accident and the insurance co. of the woman that hit him authorized a rental from this shabby crime-hole while his vehicle was being repaired. When he got it home, he was looking for a hitch and noticed the wire under the van that holds the spare was cut. He called and reported it. They had him bring it back and gave him a new van....WHEN WE RETURNED IT THEY ACCUSED US OF STEALING THE SPARE FROM THE FIRST VAN!!!!!! My first reaction was that the person who DIDNT CHECK THE INITIAL VEHICLE PROPERLY was simply trying to cover his butt. They charged our card $603.00. Ladies and Gentleman, this company is doing this as common practice. This was no mistake. We will absolutely pursue this. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been a loyal customer with Enterprise for years. I had one of their vehicles during a hail storm and did not purchase their insurance coverage. Long story short I end up filing a claim through my auto insurance company. Once they paid I was left with my dedutible amount. I had been working with an Enterprise repersenative in Dallas to make payment arrangements. I told her what I would be able to pay and she was fine with that. I have been making monthly paymentof $50 to the Dallas location. Since I have not been able to make the monthly $100 payment she would like me to now she is now threating to turn me over to a collection agnecy and charge me attorney fee's if i do not pay in full. In this economy business are usually satisified with what you can give them as long as you are make an effort. I guess Enterprise is an exception.
ReplyDeleteIF YOU ARE EVER IN KEY WEST DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM ENTERPRISE..I HAD SOME AMERICAN EXPRESS GIFT CARDS FOR THEM $200 WORTH USED IT BACK IN JULY OF 2012 (I RENTED THE VAN FOR 1 DAY ONLY) RECEIVED A CALL 3 MONTHS LATER 10/8/12 TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE INSURANCE AND TAX WHICH I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT WHEN I RENTED THE CAR. NOW THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $91.48 FOR THE ENTIRE RENTAL AND DID NOT RETURN MY GIFT CERTIFICATES. NOW I HAVE TO FIGHT WITH MY BANK, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND OF COURSE THEM. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE THIS IS OUT OF CONTROL...

My experience with Charlie Ramirez, Doral West location in Miami was great. After picking us up at the hotel, we decided not to rent a car. Charlie was informative and did address our concerns. However, we decided that we were not comfortable with driving in Miami after all.
ReplyDeleteCharlie was very gracious and even called a taxi for us. Based on my experience with Charlie, the next time I rent a car Enterprise will be my first choice!
SICK DEATH THREATS FROM AN ENTERPRISE ASSISTANT MANAGER:
ReplyDeleteThis is on IMBD 'BARAK OBAMA' board. It reports the activities of the Enterprise Assistant Manager at the Union Square office in San Francisco, CA, Rodney A. Johnson. Enterprise needs to check his usage of ALL the computers in that office by this man. This involves many company resources and is on company time. It has been researched in prep for a federal complaint.
Mr. Johnson also goes on many imbalanced rants: homicidal, homophobic, leftist and racial. Police need to be involved as he appears to be a threat to others.

I'd love to kick your ugly face in and cut it to ribbons. Dumb c_nt

Die painfully okay? Prefearbly by getting crushed to death in a
garbage compactor, by getting your face cut to ribbons with a
pocketknife, your head cracked open with a baseball bat, your stomach
sliced open and your entrails spilled out, and your eyeballs ripped
out of their sockets. *beep* bitch
I really hope that you get curb-stomped. It'd be hilarious to see you
begging for help, and then someone stomps on the back of your head,
leaving you to die in horrible, agonizing pain. *beep*
Shut the *beep* up f aggot, before you get your face bashed in and cut
to ribbons, and your throat slit.
Whatever. I can deal personally. Rodney, though, is a sick puppy who, as you may know, has cyber-stalked Benji for years now. Out of curiosity, I google'd the text of the threat that he sent me, and found some pretty interesting things.
He has sent the same threat to many other people, including a prominent conservative blogger;
http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2011/10/die-painfully- okay.html
We know how Rodney feels about Ayn Rand.
Anyway, the username gcord374 is almost certainly the namesake of a guitar string, and we know Rodney plays bass thanks to his single "The Patriot" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtea_DTdUCc&list=UUEaFEaryaSGqv5X9H NqPcow&index=30&feature=plcp
It also pops up on numerous other political-based websites.
Anyway, here's the kicker...his wife is a marriage counselor, among other things. http://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/name/Jyoti_Orsolya_Kalmar_MS ,MA_San+Francisco_California_124031
The only thing I've done so far is shoot that blogger an e-mail and let her know where exactly they are coming from in case she gets any more. I haven't done anything else.
So, should we leave it alone, or let her know what he's been up to?
Oh, and Rodney, if this thread is deleted it's coming right back up, buddy. I'm sure you know how copy and paste works by now, with that mass threat and all.
Enterprise withdrew a 50 dollar deposit from my account with my permission, then refunded it when promised. The same day of the refund, they withdrew another 50 dollar deposit without my consent the day before Thanksgiving. After much arguing with the rep behind the counter, we discovered the reason this happened is that I had two claims (both fixed at the same time) and they had to "separate" the claims. However the second withdrawal was done without my consent or knowledge. I had to go online in their office to retrieve my bank statement to prove to the Enterprise rep that this 2nd withdrawal from my account was done so I could receive my refund since the car was returned over 10 days ago. They did apologize for not notifying me of the 2nd withdrawal. I requested my bank card be removed from their system and I was told they cannot do this, but that the number "falls off in 6 months". Seriously?
ReplyDeleteEnterprise has the worst rental policy out of all the other rental car companies! Did you know that each location can set there own rental rates? Did you know that each manager has the right to approve or decline a price match, not corporate? Did you know that the turn around time for a return call is 3-5 business days? Did you know that the call center representatives can make the decision to forward a customer's call to a supervisors or the corporate office? Is this considered good customer service? Is this a company you should rent from ever?

I am beyond Pissed off with Enterprise commerical truck service. We have told them nuerous of times that their truck would stall. The Manager assured us that it was fix but guess what I am stranded again and my staff are unable to set up an event. Now at 4:00pm we are late for a set-up for an event. Then we were waiting for over 4 hours of mechanic that says he can't do anything since he does not have the computer. And now I am stuck especially when I was told that Enterprise is unavailable to to even replace the truck and has to tow it away. Not only does it effect us from doing our set up at 11:30pm I have 4 locations to pick up our equipment and your company is unreliable and did not even try to fix the situation. The dispatch says that they are unable to help me. I have been a customer for over 9 years with their company and this time I am so fustraded and upset that during my busiest time I am left with this mess and complaints because I used the wrong truck company that promises this below and gives me lip service.
ReplyDeleteThis is what their website says:

This is false advertising. Please call me at 832-236-5049 cell asap. This is rediculous.
I rented a car from Enterprise in Ft Waynre In and I was talked to so rudely by the Branch Manager of all people I honestly don't think I will ever go back. I am sure that if I would have been a man he would not have talked to me that way. That Branch Manager needs to get some Customer Service training. This is no way to act to a Coustomer in front of your other employees and let them think that this is acceptable behavior. Enterprise doesn't need a Branch Manager like this all he will do is ruin their business. I have never been treated like this at any other Enterprise in any other State only Ft Wayne, in
ReplyDeleteGRN
It seems there are alot of un-happy people that used Enterprise. Let me add to the list. The office in Fayetteville NC on Ramsey street...The manager is a complete jerk!! But what goes around comes around! I think they need a mystery shop...hint hint to the Corporate Office..Customer Service "should" be their number one concern, instead of Managers throwing tantrums and acting like complete PRICKS...yes Parron you are the weakest link! MYSTERY SHOP>>>MYSTERY SHOP>>> smile you were on candid camera.
ReplyDeleteI have been a customer with Enterprise for years with no problems, but I rented a vehicle during the Christmas holiday and filed a complaint at the Enterprise on Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA and called the 800 number and filed a complaint. I have yet to hear from either of them about me returning my vehicle on the day that I was suppose to and because they were closed and did not get to process the information for 2 days later. I was charged for 2 extra days. I could have kept the vehicle for 2 extra days. I did my part and returned the car by 6 pm on Christmas eve and the store was already closed by 530 pm cause I tried to call them and no answer so I call the 800 number and asked them should I return it to the airport which was open and a few miles down the street or where I rented it from and was informed where I rented it from and place keys in drop box and they will process it as returned on the Christmas eve date.
ReplyDeleteMuch to my surprised I was charged for 2 extra days that I did not even drive the vehicle. And when I went to complain about the issue they advised me that they will try to get me refunded for at least 1 day... I was flabbergasted by that statement that they want me to pay for 1 day that I did not even have the car due to an error on their part. I want to be refunded for both days not 1 day. But they have not even had the common courtesy to even contact me back at all. You don't even have to give me cash back you can give me 2 free days of rental to be used when I want to use them. I will be okay with that. I am a business owner and try to right my wrongs so I only expect the same respect. I use to enjoy doing business with Enterprise especially since you are a family-owned business, but I will keep complaining everywhere I can about this issue. You have not heard the last of me yet, even if i have to go to small claims court to do so. I am going to tell all of my friends and family members how I was treated and ignored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I am saddened by how I have been treated and morning the lost of an old dear friend. I shed a tear. Good bye for now old friend.
Enterprise,
ReplyDeleteI i have a issue that has just come to my knowledge. i am service member serving overseas for the Military. I Always rent thru Enterprise but this last experience and current issue i am dealing with is unacceptable. From local Chrysler Dealer in Germany which submitted a voucher thru the Enterprise Rental Office in Germany which allowed us a rental in which Chrysler was covering the cost from 14 Dec to 28 Dec 2012 due to my vehicle was in their shop which still is. It shows that the Bill Receipient is Chrysler hence we have never signed a rental agreement or anything because it was covered nor did we ever provide our Credit Card information on this particular rental. What came to light was that 2 days ago on my credit card statement was a charge by them of over $900.00 paying for this particular rental because the Enterprise in Germany was informed that Chrysler backed out on their official contract in which they were not going to pay and then the head office in Germany charged my Credit Card illegally without any notification from anyone via, phone, email or any other means. The manager at Enterprise there named Frank +49-011-611-716360 went thru his records in the past and seen we had a card on file from a rental from a year ago in which he used my personal credit card and charged it so he can get paid because he did not bother going after Chrysler to get his money legally since in the attachment it shows they were the ones being charged even though they decided to back out of their deal.
This is unacceptable and illegal in every which way possible. Enterprise should be going after Chrysler due to the Voucher that was submitted saying they would and I should not be charged like this from a illegal and unauthorized transaction like the manager (Frank) did. He still has not contacted us in any way and has not picked up the phone. I want this situation resolved thru your corporate office immediately in regards to his actions and fully refunded the amount immediately. I am furious about this and Soldiers serving should not be treated this way and I want a immediate response to this via email since that is the only way of communication i have at the moment. I have never heard of such action from anyone in my life from any company but i am sure this will be handled directly by your Corporate office immediately in regards to his actions and i want to be apprised of this because who knows if i am the only person this particular person has done this to illegally.
I was in a car wreck 2 weeks ago my car was a total loss and my Insurance Company rented a car for me from Enterprise ! I personaly have rented from Enterprise MANY TIMES though the years and NEVER had a problem with them ... Until now! First of all I had to pay someone to take me to Enterprise to picked up the car because they would not pick me up cause I was not in there area!2nd I tell them up front that where I live in the sticks of WV it very muddy and my drive way is muddy and asked them if they had something higher off the ground it would be better the guy tells me this car is a front wheel drive it will go in the mud ... 3rd I get in the car and the smell of cigerrets would knock you down and there was mud on the dash and in the floor I thought to my self wow I have never gotten a car this dirty before and then later we found trash under the sets clearly this car was NOT cleaned before we rented it ! 4th I take the car back today at 12:00 (noon) and the guy went out and checked the car like they always do and came back in and said ok here you go and handed me a recipt and told me to have a good day ! Then at 5:00pm I get a phone call that said that I needed to come back and clean the car or be charged $50.00 dollars , I was like WHAT ? he said it had mud in the carpet I said well duh its muddy its winter time and I told him I was not driving an hour away to come do his job for him and he said I took away from the vaule of the car cause it was muddy inside I told him I told the guy before reanting the car that I lived in a mud hole he responded by say "and" ? and then said he would send me a bill I said no need I will NOT pay it that he is paid to do a job so go do it I was not going to ! I will NEVER rent from you again he said you will not be allowed to if you dont pay the bill anyway I have decided to leave this comment here I will also write the corp office and If I get a bill I will have more in sending it than the check is worth cause I will send $00.1 cent a month ! I guess the insuance company did not pay them what they wanted them to or something so they was going to charge me out of pocket for it ! Even if I am allowed to rent from them again I WILL NOT ! This took place in Barbousville, WV ! Folks I say go anywhere but to Enterprise rental car to rent a car ! Thanks
ReplyDeleteI just returned from Enterprise Rental at the Buffalo Airport when I reserved 2 vehicles. The date of the reservations was November 12, 2012 and I told them I wanted 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees and they said that would not be a problem; I also explained that I would hold them with my credit card and pay cash at the end of the trip and again was told it would be alright; well I guess it wasn't because I got 3 different stories when I got to the airport to pickup the vehicles. First, I was told tht they do not rent Jeep Grand Cherokees and then someone else told me that they only had a few and they rented out early. Next I was told that I could not pay cash at the end and that it had to go on my credit card and third I was told no debit cards that if the credit card said debit on it they would not accept it at all. The questions I want answered is that I reserved these vehicles in November of 2012 and if
ReplyDeletethey only had a few in stock why could they not hold them for me or nelse tell mme at that time they do not rent out Jeeps; and why don't they accept cash at the end of the trip anymore? To me this all seems like a huge scam. I f I was not leaving on the trip tomorrow you can be assured that I would return the vehicles and go to another company, one who doesn't lie to the people. This is the second years that I rented from Enterprise and it is the first time that I received such poor treatment. I agree with everyone else if you need to rent a vehicle for what ever reason go some where else and stay away fron Enterprise.. Thanks
I am very disappointed I had a rental all set up they were supposed to meet me in my hometown took all my information and told me to call that morning and they would leave. We called this morning to go meet them and drop our car off at the shop and they tell us they do not deliver EVER! I am beyond disappointed in this company and will NEVER use them and I would never EVER refer them to my worst enemy!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been a enterprise rental customer for over 10 years until recently I was a very satisfied customer dispite the reports of others bad mouthing the company. I recently rented a car that after I had it for about a week was loud! I went through a drive through to place my order and the waitress asked me to turn the car off so she could hear me! I confronted Enterprise about the matter and they told me that they didnt have any cars that fit the car class I rented on the lot and if I came in to exchange cars I would have to upgrade and I would have to pay the difference! REALLY!! Disgruntled, I kept it my car was in the shop and I needed to get to work and I refuse to pay more money. They then wanted me to return the car, they started calling me several times a day, I work 12-18hr shifts, in healthcare I cant always answer my phone, They would leave disturbing messages saying they would report the car stolen even came by my home. I have a bank statement that I took to there corporate office who was just as rude and showed them that they were constantly debiting my account and that the customer service and threats were totally inappropriate. I returned the car immediately after that altercation only to find that they debited my account 4 MORE TIMES AFTER I RETURNED THE CAR!! I had to sign affidavits, and order a new card so that they would stop charging my account. No one wants to be available for comment, thus no one wants to refund my money!! I WILL NEVER RENT FROM ENTERPRISE AGAIN!!!
ReplyDeletei rented from enterprise and when i renterned the car i noticed my son had left his $200 headphones in the car. i immediatley called enterprise to ask if the car was rented out and to report i left the headphones in there. i was told the car is in the garage being cleaned. i later got another call stating no one returned the headphones in the lost and found. i asked if there is a log you keep as to who cleaned the car. i was then told the car was rented right after i returned it. i was then told the car was rented at 9am the next day. the moral of the story is i received three different conflicting stories and i trult believe who ever cleaned the car out took the headphones and didnot send to loss and found.

ReplyDeleteThese idiots received a call from my son-in-law, who has advanced Parkinson's Disease and brain injury and resides in a convalescent hospital due to his physical condition. They actually went to the convalescent hospital and picked him up and took him to their business to rent him a truck. He can not keep his head upright and uses a walker because he can not control his legs.
When my daughter found out, after being notified by the hospital staff, she had to try to find him. He admitted to her that it was scary and he wound up on the wrong side of the street numerous times.
My daughter took the truck back and complained to the manager. His response was that he had a valid drivers license. The paperwork is in work to take the license away from him. Who would think that anyone with a brain would see his physical condition and still rent a truck to him, even if he has a license. If someone went in to rent a vehicle and was drunk would they rent them a vehicle just because they have a license.
The only saving grace is that he did not kill someone. This company gave him a weapon and set him loose on everyone on the street that weekend.
Shame on them. I suppose the money was worth it to them to put so many people's lives in jeopardy.
They should be shut down.
I was hit by a deer when driving an Enterprise car on 17 November 2012. I obviously had to pay Enterprise for the damages > 7000 Dollars and did so using a credit card over their Bank of America phone system. Not a good idea. The Enterprise Recovery Unit was not capable of producing a receipt indicating the total amount paid to them regarding the claim because their letters are computer generated so after the paid in full sentence they can't include the amount. So when you pay Enterprise you wont get a receipt. When you want to get reimbursed then you are out of luck. So I will order my creit card company to cancel all payment to Enterprise. Oh, I forgot - Dakota Burke (the claim adjuster) told me that I did not pay Enterprise, I paid Bank of America the > 7000 Dollars. Ok, my mistake, I will do the charge back.
ReplyDeleteEnterprise holding is not a bad company to work for.Problem is managment as an employee working at Fort lauderdale. My supervisor Rick Gaskins is a racist pig,he treats hispanics and black haitian workers like crap. With other white workers he treats whem with more respect. He has major anger problems and takes out his fustrations on minority workers.A fellow employ filed a complaint about racism to human resources but was swept under the rug and was written up several times to the point of firing him. This fellow employ often tells me he is suffering from mayor depression and suicidal tendecies, often misses day due to depression, becasue the Fort lauderdale human resources will do nothing. The managment fleet RICK GASKINS and MARK ASUNCION are very unethical from treating employees bad to robbing the company with the use of outside venders.Mark Asuncion contracts outside venders to perform pm service he gives the vender oil filter from the company, venders doesn"t due the work he charges and splits the money with managment. If some from corprate headquater in ST louis happens to read this message please come and investigate this horrible situation that is going down here at Fort Lauderdale airport in a secret way because if corprate just calls they will sweep everything under the rug and come down hard on us.Please help us!!!!
ReplyDeletewe have a repair shop located in southern illinois, on 3-21-13 a young soldier on thier way from tx to thier home in chicago, had an accident, our compnay went out and picked them up, took them to the hotel and brought thier car to our shop, they have geico insurance, geico call the the carbondale illinois enterprise loaction to get them a car, (Eli 618-549-6995)thye are 18 miles from the hotel , they always come and pick people up from there, but i was called on 3-23-13 , and the soldier, even with the apporved rental aggrement from geico with the car rental, the car rental (enterprise) would not come and pick the soldier up to get them the car so they could get home. the soldier called me, i called both the carbondale and marion enterprise rental stores, carbondale said they didnt have a car, marion said they did , both locations said they didnt have anyone to pick the soldier up. seems funny how your company ENTERPRISE so strongly states how you will pick them up from home, repair shop, work, etc. well it was sad that this soldier finally had to spend thier money to try to get a taxi back to get a car from the company after the very contract with geico states they will pick them up.shame on enterprise for such shitty service, we would have taken them, but while i was trying to reach corp enterprise they payed for a taxi,.

ReplyDeleteI had to use Enterprise while my jeep was in the shop being fixed. I took my favorite camera with me to take photos of the great day I was having and before I knew it my jeep was ready for pick up...I went back to enterprise, dropped off car, got in my jeep and with in 15 mins, realized I had left my camera and all my equipment in the back seat of the rent-a-car!!! I called them and the guy who answered the phone said "I cleaned out the car, "I didn't see no camera"..I said, I have only been gone 15 mins, YES, my camera, in a big black duffel bag was in the back seat right behind drivers seat"! Needless to say, "They stole my camera!!!!" I was so upset, I will NEVER even look at a Enterprise with out cursing it! Boo on Management!!! Yes, he was the manager of the place.
ReplyDeleteI have just recently purchased a car from you people and I just want to say your sales staff in Westwood Mass was top shelf, Ryan and Anthony had made my purchase seamless and a pleasure to deal with (not your typical used car sales push).I will recommend you guys to both friends and families and to my local union .This is a great experience and I will be buying my next car there as well.

I am a car prep for this company and it started out as an ok job. But then it got to be really annoying. They don't give their car preps anything! But the manager and manager trainee's and whatever else u wanna call them get ALL kinds of benefits and they sit around and gloat and talk about it. I do not see where any of it is fair esp now since part timers are only allowed to work 28 hours. Everything they do they seem to get some kind of incentive from it! Its disgusting !! But no one seems to care!......... As for the service they give to the customers sometimes is totally unfair and they do not care about the kind of cars they give!! But I try to always keep the cars clean as much as I can.. They also sometimes send cars out that need work on them and they just reset a button, what if someone was seriously hurt or killed by this action. Enterprise sux and if it wasn't for needing a job I would quit especially now since they are only allowing us to work 28 hours!!
